Ahh, Artemis. Goddess of wildlife, hunting, protecting women, and virginity!

And not only Artemis, but Athena and Hestia too. Together, they were the only sacred virgin godesses in Olympus that even Zeus didn't dare to bone. Now, I want to state that Greek mythology is very inconsistent, and sources vary for literally everything. Not to mention, labels are overrated and if we absolutely have to, it's safe to say most gods are queer at best.

Artemis is often depicted hunting with a group of nymphs that she trained and regularly hung out with. Said women were also required to never marry and always be virgins, but that last part is kinda iffy. You see, virginity in ancient Greece isn't what we consider virginity today. The ancient Greek word for virgin, parthenos, roughly translated to maiden/unmarried woman. A "virgin woman" most likely meant just an unmarried woman who didn't have heterosexual penetrative sex.

In several myths, it is stated that Zeus, in order to seduce Callisto, a worshipper/hunter friend of Artemis, turned into Artemis to fool her, and took her to bed, which implies that Artemis may or may not have been more than friends with Callisto, or at least Callisto had the hots for Artemis.

In conclusion, Artemis was either technically a virgin goddess or literally a virgin goddess.

Does it matter either way? Nope! Do with this info as you will.

I'll answer for each so it might be a little long! Apologies in advance!

🍀 What originally inspired the OC?

Jung-Myn:

I've always been upset over the fact that Star Wars is so heavily influenced by Asian culture–yet lacks a lot of Asian characters. So I knew I wanted to make one of them Asian (and being biased, I made them blatantly Korean, lol). That and because I hadn't seen a lot of Asian ocs either or specifically Asian ocs shipped with clones–so I was like,, let's change that. And to spice it up, I want a queerplatonic relationship since there aren't many of those, and I project my aroace-ness onto Hunter like a beam from an ion canon. Thus Jung was born.

Viram Cossa:

Kinda like with Jung, I wanted an alien oc because I hadn't seen many of those with canon characters and thought Mikkians were a cool species so I settled on that. I think I subconsciously based her off of Tiana from Princess and the Frog, in terms of personality, because I knew Echo would do well with a fellow workaholic. Her design is actually somewhat based off a jellyfish! I was looking at a lot of pictures of jellyfish when designing her–for whatever reason. So she's a strange mix of a couple of things.

Khea Nultez:

To be completely honest with you–it was myself, lol. Khea is somewhat of a self-insert because I just love Wrecker so much. Her appearance moreso than her personality (brown eyes, dark hair, tan skin, moles, short) was based off myself and in addition, she's also Korean/Mexican (at least in a Modern AU) same as me. I joke and say that she's who I would've been if I was a middle child instead of the eldest. That's essentially it.

Tay'kaa Marr:

Kinda like with Jung and Viram, Tay was just born out of my desires to see like,, more alien and queer ocs so I made him both. I don't know why I settled on making him a Chagrian–I just thought they were cool I guess. He came about when Crosshair was going through it, so I was like "I should give him a boyfriend. Maybe that'll make him feel better"–because let's be honest, Crosshair is not straight. Anyways, I knew that he had to be similar to Crosshair in personality–someone who could keep up with his snark–and who could understand him more than most–as in sharing similar experiences–then Tay was born. And I've latched onto him like a fucking leech.

❤️ What is one of your OC's best memories?

Jung-Myn:

Jung-Myn's best memory is the day they got their kyber crystal. After all, that's a milestone in many Jedis' lives–and Jung wasn't an exception. While it wasn't an easy task to obtain the crystal, the reward of doing so and constructing the saber was worth it. They can remember just how right the saber felt in their hands and how when they first ignited the blade into a light of green–they felt like they had a purpose. Holding that saber for the first time made Jung feel like they finally knew where they needed to be.

Viram Cossa:

Viram's best memory is from the war, when she saved her first patient. As awful as everything was at the time, when she was able to bring that trooper back to his brothers and show that his faith in her wasn't misplaced–it was the best feeling in the world. She felt accomplished and relieved. All that hard work from her youth had finally paid off and seeing that clone being happy and grateful to be alive, seeing his brothers and Jedi general also grateful was fulfilling. But more than anything, she'd been able to make her father proud.

Khea Nultez:

Khea's best memory comes from the day her father first taught her how to fix up a speeder. She'd just been training with her older brother when her father brought her to the hangers and they spent hours in there, fixing, laughing, and exchanging stories. She felt like she could be trusted and that was a wonderful feeling. Then later that day, her mom made her favorite soup and later told her brothers and her Mandalorian folk tales by the fire before bed. It was just one of those rare days where they felt like a normal family and Khea cherishes it.

Tay'kaa Marr:

Tay's best memory is that of his mentor, Ko, telling him about her wife, Na'yeli. The passion in which she talked about her love for her and the dedication and determination that Ko had to get out of the arena to be reunited with her had such an affect on him that it made him want nothing more than the love that they had. He saw how strong that love made Ko and he wanted something like that too. After everything, he still reflects fondly on all those stories and is grateful for how they shaped him as a person.

✂️ What is one of your OC's worst memories?

Jung-Myn:

Order 66. The attack on the Jedi Temple. Clones turning on them. Anakin killing younglings. Being unable to protect and save those he was supposed to guard. The fire and the smoke. That searing pain he felt when he was shot down by a blaster bolt that he somehow survived. It's bits and pieces in his mind, but he can hear the screams and smell the smoke better than anything.

Viram Cossa:

Seeing her father fall apart. The once brilliant man who was always happy to help and whom she admired greatly suddenly became a shell of the person he once was–and not being able to stop or help him–is seared into her brain. Watching him unravel into his grave day-by-day was worse than any of the memories she sustained as a medic during the Clone Wars.

Khea Nultez:

Watching her younger brother, Mitcan, die. After she promised to protect him. After she promised nothing bad was going to happen. After she promised she could bring their older brother, Jovaz, back to the clan and snap him out of his stupid Death Watch mindset. Seeing that bright light in his eyes fade as he used his last breath to tell her not to blame herself–she'd do everything to forget it and bring him back.

Tay'kaa Marr:

When his mentor/surrogate mother, Ko, was killed in the arena. Watching as she endured blow after blow and slowly coming to the horrifying realization that–despite how invincible she'd always seemed to Tay–she wasn't getting back up from this fight. Seeing her bleed out in a pool of black, hearing the audience cheer when it happened, and being unable to save her.

Plot and Sypnosis

It's been only a year since the king died, and everyone is desperate to be free of Queen Reigna's tyrannic rule. The kingdom's only hope is the king's only living child and Queen Reigna's stepdaugter- Princess Snow White. 

Snow has been training for years, perfecting her sword and archery skills so that she may one day challenge her stepmother for the throne and bring peace to the kingdom once again. 

That day may be coming sooner than she wanted, with potential war looming on the horizon. 

Snow desperately wants to see the good in her stepmother- despite how much the Queen only seems to bring her pain. She's just greiving the loss of her husband and Snow's father, she never meant to hurt Snow, she just doesn't know how to be motherly- 

Lan has been Snow's best friend since they were kids, and neither one would have it any other way. They is worried that she may be giving her stepmother too many excuses and chances, and that one day it'll get Snow killed. No matter how hard they try, they've never been able to get through to Snow about how they see the relationship from the outside. 

When an assassination attempt is made on Snow's life, and her friend Hunter is blackmailed by an anonymous person- Snow and Lan make their escape into the woods, in hopes that it will keep her safe until the plot against her is uncovered and can challenge her stepmother for the throne.

This book is one of my favorites in my Fractured Stars Falling series, because it has the AroAce protagonist I always wanted to see going on the same adventures I'd see straight protagonists go on as a kid. I have no plans to force Snow and Lan into a romantic relationship, and they're going to stay best friends as they should be (just to be clear).

*Magi is the general term for magic users in this world. Witch, Wizard, and the like are ultimately just titles, but each has their own history with it.

*A Null is someone who is born with an immunity to magic, but at the cost of not being able to perform it. You cannot become a Null just to be clear. Bo was born as a Null, he never became on, got it? Good.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OKAY OKAY OKAY!!!!! HAGVJDFD GLADLY I WILL

I GOT A COUPLE SO LETS GET INTO THIS:

ohevet: first ever character! uses she/they i think (and if they didnt, they do now! update: JUST REMEMBERED, IT WAS HE/HIM FOR A CIS WOMAN! THROW OUT THE OTHER IDEA SORRY) and also my first aroace character. his name is a joke with that honestly, as ohevet is hebrew for love. i lost the stat sheet a bit back BUT im working on rewriting the stats so i can make an actual character of him! his backstory is kinda silly and i dont really remember it rn so ill also be redoing that shit for sure, but i do know one thing, he's cursed. with this marking on his face, hes able to get "Stackable Concussions" (which me and my dms came up with stat affection ideas but i do also wanna make my own for funzies, and i doubt either would mind if you also wanted to lol). by the end of the campaign, he had been like the only one to not try to seduce someone (my friend had gotten a nat 20 to seduce "mommy nature" so theres that) and had a stack of 10 concussions. how he was still standing is beyond me. did i fall for him? abso-fucking-lutely, i made him hot and wanted him carnially and yet hes aroace so what can my gay ass do? (fun fact: one of my dms is my now girlfriend!) btw before i forget, mountain dwarf fighter, and had a lizard he took off the floor rather then pay for a pet, one of the players had its brother/cousin.

ivy: meant to be an npc for my campaign (which btw ill gladly talk about BUT MY PLAYERS CANNOT SEE THIS LOL ARCADIAN AND GAYWITCHNERD SKIP TO THE SECOND PARAGRAPH ON IVY), but a played character in my friend's (arcadian) campaign (arcadian was the one to try and seduce "mommy nature" btw). speaking of npc, the played character and npc have different stories, so we going with npcs rn! ivy (she/they/star pronouns lol) was meant to be a royal guard who did training and learning in the forests, but im thinking of making her a shop owner (eh, probs for out of dnd oc shit). while in the forest, she sorta fell for a nymph there which looks a lot like one of my players characters (agreed romance thing lol). while in town, i plan for her to sorta like fall for said player after bumping into them and shit. that being said, love wont be her only motivation! i do have some plot ideas i need to think up, but im pretty ready to connect shit in. also shes gonna have a dog familiar (my dog) just to involve her somehow lol. oh yeah she slso has gay moms

NOW WE TALK HER AS A PLAYED CHARACTER! in arcadians campaign, shes a half-elf druid like before, but her lesbian parents arent really too existant. (hey gaywitchnerd, i dont mind you reading this, but your character wouldnt know this info) due to issues with her planet, ivy has had her set of challenges, and is looking for strength in knowledge (literally). back home, theres some fucking secret thing there for some deity. on this route, its a pursuit of learning what the deity is. (another idea i had was that the swamp she once lived in is commonly disregarded, and due to anxiety she worried about it being forgotten and shit happening to it so she went looking for power to protect it) there are religions based around it, but ivy isnt exactly religous but still learning as much as she can about it. (fun fact for this one, but its related to the oc: i was planning for her to have BPD, but i wasnt sure how to play one so as a non-dnd character im gonna find ways to incorperate it, also she likes one of the pcs and an npc, the pc is my gfs one but i doubt they realise it lol)

hunter: like all my characters, i go into it with a basis, something i build around for them (ivy is an acception, she was just gonna be an npc), and hunters no different. since the campaign features 3-4 tabaxis (cant remember for sure), an undead, and other various magical people, i wanted to be just a regular guy, which i am! human fighter guy and all that, pretty normal (most extraordinary thing is that hes a magician)...except humans arent fucking normal here because its a tabaxi village. i fucking love that i didnt know this btw! CAUSE I DID NOT, NOR DID MY FRIENDS REALIZE. the story with this guy that i got is he was a traveling performer, one who used this bow tie made special by his fiancé, which works like the bandana chip uses. this however, got taken while traveling, and hes not willing to preform at a show or anything until he gets it back. for the tabaxi village hes disguised as a cat and his whip is his cat tail (this is to make up for the fact that im not a tabaxi with them all lol)! fun fact for him now: his original design was meant to look feminine and masculine to encapsulate my bigenderness in a character ("the most magical thing about them is their gender!"), but ended up feeling too extra for the "just a guy" vibe and got a total redesign lol (he/him cishet man btw, gonna be fun to try <- bigender afab)

techic: my newest campaign character (who i get to play again in 5 minutes, but by the time i finish writing this, we may have started already lol)! a genderfluid tiefling warlock, who worked as a cashier at a 8/12 before shit went down (its an apocalypse campaign). (update, it did actually, writing while we wait for players to arrive) the funny idea with this one? "what if they made a deal for surgery and just got more out of it?". not much on them rn so fun fact time! their mom is a pc (played by arcadian) and currently being locked in a closet cause they ate their zombified partner!

My Ninjago oc is my main sona for pretty much everything lol.

Name: Galaxy Garmadon

Age: 14 when her story starts, 17 currently

Gender: female; she/her

Orientation: Aroace

Basically what happens in her story is that she's from our world (technically another Earth but almost exactly like ours; in the Marvel universe because technically our Earth is canon to their Multiverse so screw it-)

After an attempted assassination, she ends up in Ninjago; she gets chased by the assassin that tried to kill her for reasons unknown to her, and saved by the ninja. Due to her injuries though, she ended up unconscious.

After she wakes up, she tells the ninja what happened. Her parents dead and a strong assassin searching for her, the ninja decide it would be safer for her to stay. This takes place a month after Sea bound, so everyone is still very much impacted by Nya's loss. In this universe, the ninja don't get a chance to split up.

Shadow (the assassin) comes back and sends everyone on a mission to stop him.

Galaxy discovers that she has powers; magic and Dragonshifter abilities (the ability to shapeshift into a dragon form and back.) Her powers didn't show before due to Earth's atmosphere blocking it off. Her powers AREN'T elemental based, due to her powers having another origin.

They fight Shadow with the help of Matthew (a messenger and bounty hunter that works for King Vadalis), who had planned on escaping as well. Shadow runs off.

Afterwards, the ninja decide to take her in; one because she doesn't have anywhere to stay or go, and two, because she has powers that probably need to be advised and trained. So Misako fills out some paperwork and they surprise her with a ninja gi, and being Lloyd's adoptive sister.

She's now the purple ninja (sorry Nelson). She's also known as the dragon ninja; people call her both and she doesn't care which one she is called.

She helps the ninja fight for Ninjago, and she ends up in various worlds to help other people.

She's been to the TMNT 2012 world, Murder Drones world, Minecraft Story Mode, FNAF SB, Lackadaisy, an MLP infection world, Hunger Games, and more! (Some of it is iffy cause I don't have the worlds she's been to completely solidified, and the timeline is all over the place, so ya. All of these are also separate fron the canon universes, the Ninjago universe included. Kinda formed a whole multiverse thing)

Now, she protects people as a ninja, and works at the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex to continue her work there. Often she overworks herself due to having so many responsibilities (protecting Ninjago, fixing issues around the Plex, being spat out into random life threatening worlds, ect).

She's met the animatronics, Jesse (MCSM), Herobrine, Mordecai (Lackadaisy), and many many MANY more. (*Cough cough* totally not a Mary Sue 👀)

OH YEAH and in Crystalized, she 100% tears into Harumi for what she did. If Lloyd won't yell at her, she ABSOLUTELY will. And Morro is *also* alive during crystallized cause the Crystal king wanted him too. Problem is that he didn't realize Morro was a rebel XD.

I don't have her ninja suit drawn or designed (because I'm STILL trying to figure humans out akdjnjbd), so my basic idea for it is a mix of the Oni trilogy suits and the S11 suits. Her suit is purple and black with white accents.

The suit has similar patterns to the S8-9 suits, but she also has balck straps with pockets on them like Jay's S11 and up suit. She also has black gloves w/ a fingerless version.

I also like to imagine she has a western dragon symbol on the back in the Ninjago symbol style.

She doesn't have it on (almost) any of her human art currently, but she *does* have canines! (Think Nimona, with like, the rounded canines).

Some headcanons:

- Whenever she wants the split ends of her hair trimmed, she goes to Kai (he's the hair expert). He always makes sure it's JUST the frayed ends and not anything else (he knows what it's like to be very specific with hair lol).

- Galaxy, being a magical being, can sense other magic, whether it be people with magic, enchanted objects, or anything else otherwise magic based. The strongest person she can sense around her is Lloyd. She can actually tell who's there without looking because of this.

- Galaxy's dragon side has a protective trigger. She gets more aggressive, has less control, and is more violent when it happens. Her pupils also become more slitted. She only does this when she's MEGA angry. It's most often when someone close to her or someone she cares about is close to being killed, and dragon protective instincts kick in. She once bit someone's finger off. She doesn't regret it, however.

- Her dragon form is actually half mammal, half reptile, and she's warm blooded. (Idk how that works; dragon fantasy species go brrrrrrrr)

- Her phobias consist of arachnophobia, Algophobia, Atychiphobia, Erotophobia, Gamophobia, Lockiophobia, Tokophobia. She also has a fear of losing those closest to her.

Headcanons about Regulus Arcturus Black that I will defend until my dying day

-His patronus was a large shaggy dog

-He secretly wanted to be in Gryffindor, like his big brother

-Like half of the school, he had a crush on James Potter, and tried out for quidditch to impress him. It didn't work, but he ended up really enjoying quidditch
