Soap x reader but it’s childhood best friends to lovers since kindergarten
Hot tears ran down your face and blurred your vision.
You gripped the hem of your shirt tightly and stood at the very edge of the school playground by yourself. Occasionally you’d hiccup as a sob tried to escape your throat while you watched the group of little girls, the girls who were in the same class as you, play with the stuffed bunny that used to be yours.
Your mother had told you not to bring it to your new school. You were so attached to the thing that she warned you if you brought it with you, you might lose it but you refused. You had to have it, you told her, it was the only thing that would help you get through the first day.
But now your precious bunny was being held captive by the girls you thought were going to be your friends.
They tricked you into giving it to them and now refused to give it back. You couldn’t find the teacher, but you weren’t sure if you wanted to say anything and get labeled a “tattle-tell” as one of the girls had put it. It would just isolate you more than you already were…but you really wanted your stuffed animal back.
You cried harder at the thought of never getting it back that you didn’t see John, who also happened to be in your class, chase a bouncy ball up to you.
He hesitated to pick up the ball as he watched you cry with confusion. He looked around, possibly for a teacher, but there were none around. He forgot about the ball and walked up to you, giving a short tug on your sleeve.
“Why are you crying?” He frowned and you sniffled.
“They took my bunny…” You hiccupped and he followed your finger as you pointed to the group of girls.
His frown deepened as he looked between you and the group of girls. His face suddenly turned angry, a determined look in his eyes as he grabbed your hand and marched towards the girls with you in tow.
When the two of you came up to the group they gave you both indifferent looks. One girl had your bunny in her arms and she didn't pay any attention to you until John yanked it out of her hold.
“Ye dinnae take things that aren’t yours, ya daft cow!”
Your eyes went wide and the girl began to wail loudly.
You looked from her to John, who handed you back your bunny with a proud toothy grin on his face. You happily accepted your bunny back despite your shock and before you could thank him for getting it back to you, all of you were interrupted by the very angry voice of the teacher.
“Mr. MacTavish!” She scolded and you hugged your stuffed animal closer. “I can’t believe what I’m seeing.”
It was hard to remember what happened after that. All you knew was that you and John were inseparable since then.

Trans!Regulus Au in which Sirius often sneaked out with Regulus to show him the stars (pre Regulus coming out).
On one of those nights, Sirius and R* are lying on their backs and look up at the sky filled with stars as they always do. Sirius laughs as he just found the Lupin constellation for the first time. "It's moony!" He says and grins to himself. R* has long forgotten the stars in favour of watching at his brother. Sirius started to grow out his hair. Soon it will reach shoulder length, just as R*'s hair. He doesn't understand, if R* could, he would cut his hair off without a second thought. He looks back up, his mouth opening and closing again and again, as he contemplates how to phrase his next words. How could he describe this lingering feeling deep inside of his chest, to his big brother?
"I think..." It came out broken, but it caught the attention of Sirius, as R* could see his brother's head turn in the corner of his eyes. His own eyes are focused on the stars in the sky. "I'm a boy." it bursts out of him. A secret he had carried in his shoulders for over a year now. He immediately bites down on his lip, afraid to say anything else.
Sirius is silent. R* doesn't dare to shift his eyes from the stars to glance at his brother. This isn't how people describe it. There's no invisible load taken off his shoulders. If anything, there seems to be more pressing down on him, hindering him to breath. R* can feel himself spiral. If not even Sirius excepts him, who will?
"I never told you this, but..." Sirius starts. His voice is calm, his eyes fixed on the night sky again. R* glances over at his brother. A small smile was playing on the older boy's lips. "I always loved Regulus way more than the star our parents named you after. It's the heart of the lion, just like Sirius is the heart of the dog. The lion may not be as cool and awesome as the dog-" Sirius laughs at this part, but instantly turns serious again "-but he is a very, very brave animal. Just like you, brother." Sirius turns his head again to catch R*'s eyes.
This time R* answers the stare as a grin, that mirrors the one on Sirius' face, tucks at his lips. "Regulus." He tests out the sound. The way the letters roll from his tongue. "Yeah, I like that." Regulus looks back up to the stars and when he finds the lion constellation, he feels like the Regulus star ist burning brighter than normally.
And that's how the one person who always was just like a parent to him (way more than his biological ones), gave Regulus his name.

Prompt 144
Danny regrets nothing. He regrets absolutely nothing at all. Okay so maybe he regrets things a little bit, but it’s hard to concentrate. It’s hard to think, he…
He’s never died a second time before.
It’s… weird. His head hurts, his body too-small, not in a younger sense, but almost in a… feeling sense. His skin feels colder, and his hair has- it has bits of white in it now? And he’d already been able to use his ghost abilities even in his human form but it feels… easier now.
He’s not overshadowing his own corpse- he doesn’t think he is? His head hurts… his everything ached actually, like he’d gotten electrocuted again even if he’s certain that wasn’t how he died.
Did- did someone throw his body into the sewers?
Seriously, what the heck? Who would do that?! Urgh, that made him so mad- who just throws a corpse around, nevermind his corpse! That’s so rude!
…
Hello crocodile-man staring at him in slight horror, please ignore the blood covering the back of his head, the wound has healed, he will be out of your way once he can talk again- Wait, there’s no need to call for someone-
