poor aaron just literally coming home thinking everything is kind of ok and finding robert in literal pieces just sort of barely clinging on bc his ex step son murdered his ex wife, ex father in law, the kid he used to live with and a rando, tried to murder him and his sister in law and then kidnapped his son’s mother, t h e n kidnapped him and a teenage girl and held them at gun point, threatened to murder him, he shot said murderous ex step son, hit a teenager with his car and finally found out about the whole ‘his son’s mother has been kidnapped and might be dead’ thing

oh and he blames himself for all of it bc he thinks he could have stopped it or that he made lachlan that way by being legitimately terrible to the whites
