Cringetober day 10, ship dynamic

Okay, so enemies to lovers, right? That's what we'd all call this, that's the watered down version of what these two have going on. but I think they have something a little more fucked up under that. Kenobi is a misguided hero and Cad is an honorable villain and that's where all the flavor is.

Cad is the one softly pining for Kenobi but suffers deeply for it because Kenobi doesn't register Bounty Hunters as capable of being more than enemies. I think there is potential to Kenobi slowly having his eyes opened to the complexities of Bounty Hunters and seeing that with the amount of work he puts in and responsibility he shoulders being #1, Cad treats his job like it's just as sacred to him as the Force is to Kenobi. Cad is the one who saved Kenobi, Cad is the one who refuses to work with the empire after the fall of the Jedi. He has an incredibly interesting moral code that he follows, much like how Kenobi follows the Jedi code as his master taught him. At their cores these two are both creatures of devotion and stand for a greater goal beyond themselves. It would just take Cad coming forward to show Kenobi but... whether or not he can allow himself to do so and risk his reputation is another thing.

I need more scenarios where these two are forced to work together and see past their differences it's my roman empire. I typed this description up like ten times and kept overthinking it and getting way too detailed about the Hardeen Incident.

Look if I ever said they're together in any universe I never meant healthily okay. In some, the one is trying to kill the other because of betrayal!! (couple goals fr). Toxic inky ribbons hits different for me okay

I have no idea how to start explaining this uhhhhhh okay I like drama btw this will be dramatic

-> Start out as a boss/assistant relationship until they get closer and become lovers -> Azul realises that's a bad thing (a potential weakness for his enemies to use against him) and decides to send Jovie out of the country so she can be safe. -> Jovie interprets this as him "throwing her away" so she steals from his house and fucks off by herself (mix of hurt and pettiness). -> Azul sees this as a betrayal and that she used him (got close to him enough to trust her into his house, and when he said they couldn't continue she just stole and left). -> Hunting her down to kill her and she fucking runs for her life (literally). -> Azul still cares about her and low-key hates himself for it because it's the reason he hasn't pulled the damn trigger on time yet. It's as if he can't be in control because of her and he loathes it. -> Jovie was expecting to be hunted down and part of hers doesn't know why she's still trying to escape, why she hasn't let him shoot her already. But giving up was never her strongest suit. -> They're hurt, broken-hearted and insane. -> Will probably end with one of them dead LMAO there is likely no back-to-lovers here.

They'd make a good soap opera or something ngl

Oh yeah definitely! It's a bit frustrating, as much as Vi and Cait are very hot, I've got my eyes on someone else. And I really can't stand malegazey porn, so finding anything other than crumbs and fics has been real hard. Also, I've felt a bit inspired to draw more stuff I'm into lately rather than what other people want, especially after reading and taking to heart that one quote by Patrick Califia (I have it reblogged here and also it's my header lol) from his book macho sluts where he mentions how lesbians often make porn that they think should get them turned on rather than what actually gets them going bc of internal shame, and like yeah, I definitely feel that in both stuff I've drawn myself but also in porn/erotica made by other lesbians. Uncle Scarecrow Au

Essentially, in this AU thing, Maddie, and Jonathan Crane are cousins (their moms were sisters) that often see eachother when Maddie's family visits Georgia before contact was cut due to Grandma Marion and Great-Grandma Keeny

Jonathan and Maddie managed to reconnect for a year or two through letters when Maddie started college and Jonny boy is in the middle of getting his doctorate but lost contact after Maddie got busier with studies and Jonathan went to Gotham. They're on good terms with each other and once in a while in recent years, they'd give each other updates (and gifts. Danny and Jazz grew up hearing a bit from/about Jonathan when they were younger but stopped hearing about him around the time when he became the Scarecrow. So, let's just say when Danny's... 6? Ngl, DC timeline is messy and confusing at times)

Maddie and Jack only recently learned that Danny's a halfa, the ghost king at that, and accepts it. They start helping him wrangle up some of the rogue ghosts and throw them back to the GZ when not even a week later, the GIW started swarming Amity Park immediately.

This causes the Fenton Family to escape (though not unscathed) and end up going to Gotham, not just cause Jazz is studying there, or the fact that there's enough ambient ectoplasm energy there to cover up Danny's signature, but because Jack's apparently from there, has connections too, while Maddie knows that Jonathan could help. She's his favorite cousin after all and adores Danny and Jazz from the bits and pieces she sent him about them.

"Madeline," The man in the burlap mask nodded to her.

"Jonathan," she nodded back.

Danny can't help but feel tense and wary as he stares down at the tall figure in front of him. This was Uncle Jonathan? Don't tell him he's as big of a fruitloop as Vlad.

Maddie stares at him before raising an eyebrow, "I see you still aren't taking care of yourself as you should, huh, Jonny?"

He scoffs, southern accent becoming a bit more prominent as he spoke, "like you're anyone to talk about habits, Maddie. Intellect may run in our blood but having normal, sane habits aren't. Don't you remember Great-Grandma Mary?"

The two burst out into some chuckles.

"Glad you're still alive and well, then, cousin," Maddie says, taking the hood of her jumpsuit off along with her goggles.

"Likewise," Jonathan replies, taking his ratty hat and burlap mask off revealing a sharp, gaunt face with a long, hook nose, pale blue eyes, and rusty auburn-colored, bordering brown, hair, "Now, what's this about a government branch coming for little Danny, and how... Sensitive are you to gore and other graphic imagery of sorts?"

"I mean, I already died and have to fight ghosts-..." Danny piped up immediately, only to shut his mouth up just as quickly.

"... Remind me to set up a proper therapy session for you later, child."
