I love when fictional characters are so abnormal and obsessed with each other that shipping them / making them romantic can't even make it any less weird or more interest. Because they're just too absurd about each other already for that

Oh! Hi, uhm flustered noise thank you! I am glad glad you liked them :D
I couldn't get all my thoughts out as I was almost late at the time, but now I finally have the time to properly express my thoughts.
So hermitcraft is often referenced by those of the dsmp, most of the time its Grian being mentioned for "teaching" them to build, as far as I know feel free to mention other times where the hermits are mentioned. This sorta makes the existence of Grian and Mumbo and Iskall and by extension Hermitcraft part of the universe that dsmp resides in. Fundy, by begging for help from Mumbo and Iskall for help, establishes that it is possible to contact and receive help from the Hermits by prayer. It is also well know that the Hermits' projects are feats of unreal patience and work. Everything is huge and grand and takes so so so much time. Going by your reaction of their world, it is simply a place not made for mortals.
I can go on about the horror of the empty space that these huge monuments that were not built for people, of the casual use of highly expensive and hard to get materials as decoration, of the extreme wealth that they take for granted. Even the poorest hermit are richer than more than half the dsmp I believe.
Mumbo's VR experience of his base is perhaps the best point of comparison we can use. His base and the rest of the Hermit builds are not really built with people in mind. The massive expansion of all the builds its too big to see without turning your head. Everything is so much more bigger than you and built for those with flight. These monuments do not care about you, they were not made for you and they make it so obviously clear. One wrong step and you could be plummeting to your death, crushed by incredible Redstone machines, killed by one of the many farms around. Everything is immortal and you are not. Nothing finds pleasure in reminding you of that, it simply is. Does that not sound like a home of the gods to you?
On the other hand the Hermits, while their home cares not for mortals, are extremely caring and generous. It is not as if they lack riches to share, and if they do not have any on hand they go get what they, or the friend they are helping needs. One of my favorite examples of this is when, I believe, Tango saw that Zedaph did not have armor to fill his wardrobe so he bought Zed a full set of Netherite from Scar's shop. Grian, when the treasure quest went astray, replaced what his friends lost. (On a off topic, the use of Withers one of the most deadly creatures differ so vastly between servers. For dsmp its apart of the conflict, a secret weapon, for the hermits its apart of their games and is killed often without anyone flinching.) If the hermits are happy to take care of their own friends, how would they respond to the dsmp members that wander into their world?
The Hermits are gods in the eyes of most of the rest of the mcyter universe. Although I doubt many of the Hermits realize that they are gods.
