Well…. The last few days regarding Dr. Crafty has been a real ride, and not in a good way.

For anyone not aware of what happened, Alex Tansley, the guy behind the old (and now deleted) YouTube series, committed SA on Cherri Whitewing, who was a former partner of his. Cherri released a statement about her former relationship with the guy, and people were PISSED. After being exposed for what he did, he’s since deleted his social media pages, and left the internet entirely. For anyone curious about what happened, the statement can be found here. (Quick NSFW/SA warning for anyone curious tho)

And it’s not just Cherri that Alex has negatively affected over the course of his career. As it turns out, many of the people that helped him with his old show were treated like trash. One of them, @newtafterdark, revealed some unused concept art and lore bit for the show in a discussion that we had about his history with Alex, which can be found here.

As I mentioned in the original post, Disgustilda would’ve been revealed to not only be an Infinia, but also Sasha’s mom. With the info presented by Newt, the plan was for her to be revealed to be the creator god of the entire Infinia species, going by the name of Antithesis. Not only that, the designs for all 7 Infinium Relics were shown off, with the reveal that they were the remains of Sasha’s siblings…

Yeah, that part is incredibly messed-up, but that was planned.

Another thing to bring up is how Stylene was originally gonna be a transwoman by the name of Spella, a sweet farmgirl with a spooky vibe to her that would feed transphobes to her carnivorous plants. The Shake-Up Saloon was also revealed to help folks be happier with their appearance, as the whole point of that spin-off was redesigning characters. Don’t get me wrong, I liked Stylene as she was in the original show, but seeing how Newt’s original ideas were rejected for what’s basically a stereotype made me realized that we were basically robbed. When it really comes down to it, the Crafty cast was screwed-over, between this and how many of the others were mid at best in terms of writing. As much as Alex owned these peeps, he frankly doesn’t deserve them anymore, and people should be feel to reclaim these characters and have fun with them, ether for fan-projects to do a much better take on the series (if that’s even possible) and/or reconceptualizing them.

Oh, and get a load of this; there were plans for Mindstein to be revealed to be… a nazi…

Yeah… I get that Alex wanted to make her “1000% irredeemable”, but that whole nazi idea was just pointlessly redundant. It was redundant back then, and it still is now. Alongside Sasha, I kinda have a bit of a soft-spot for Mindstein, mainly due to how I think she really could’ve been done better.

All and all; the Dr. Crafty cast was done dirty, and deserved better. Many thanks to Newt for providing me with the info he gave me, and to everyone reading this; Please support Cherri, along with every other person harmed by Alex. They all deserve better after what they respectively went through.

I know that I haven't talked about this show on here alot, but I feel like the original run/canon of Dr. Crafty, even after being canned, still has its own charm. And while his artistic work has been slower now due to him being a streamer, Crafty is still a pretty good artist and character designer. What I'm going for here is going over the main Dr. Crafty cast, sharing my thoughts about 'em. I have some personal thoughts on especially a few of these peeps, and it'll show as we go on. With that said, let's get Crafty.

(WARNING; Spoilers for Dr. Crafty are gonna be brought up alot. If you haven't seen this show, check it out)

Given how they were the main duo of the series, along with being at the center of its conflicts, I wanna start with Dr. Crafty and Nurse Worse. The chemistry (Pun not intended, I swear) between these two easily makes for some of the best character interactions in the show. Between the light banter they had in Season 1, and the more serious bits of personal trauma and flaws that the show in later seasons (Crafty and his past with Sasha and how it's negatively affected him after she left, and Nurse's trauma from Mindstein), they're some of its more fleshed-out characters. If there's anything that might be considered a flaw, the show ending so soon means that these characters aren't gonna have their arcs completed. As someone who stuck around in the show's early years, that kinda blows. And as much as I understand why the series ended the way that it did (The show being too expensive for more episodes to get made, along with the voice actors moving on to other projects), I feel like something could've been added for these peeps.

As for the main duo themselves, I feel like Crafty is a very good mix of funny and complex, and Nurse serves as a good co-host-type of character. As someone who's a big monster geek, I can really get behind the idea of a mad scientist and a cute Frankenstein girl running a web show together. Overall, Crafty and Nurse are a nice duo of protagonists.

Out of the show's roster of co-hosts, Pepper is the one that I have the most to say about. Between both of her designs (The one that was used for the show, along with the recently revamped one made by Blue-Paint-Sea, Pepper and Pickles' creator), they both do an amazing job showing off this gal's traits. A gentle giant, BBW octopus lady who's also a chef and has an air-breathing sea cucumber as a lil' buddy is a pretty out-of-the-box idea, but it works so well. Pepper is basically the biggest sweetheart of the cast, and her mannerisms, looks, and personality all help with that aspect. And while he's only one part of this duo, Pickles himself makes for a interesting character in his own right, with part of his charm due to how there's no other character in the main cast who's similar to him.

If there's any aspect that these two that I love the most, it's how even after Dr. Crafty as a show has ended, they're still around! Due to how Pepper and Pickles also fit in as characters made by the aforementioned Blue-Paint-Sea, they're still gonna be around as part of their own story. If you haven't seen Blue's work already, I highly recommend it, especially if you're a huge fan of Banjo-Kazooie.

Debuting alongside Pepper and Pickles in the same year, Messibelle was the third co-host to join the cast. While I don't have nearly as much to say about her as I've had for Pepper, Messi herself is still a fun character to talk about. Similar to other characters in this series, Messi's very concept is one that's rather unique. A lesbian slime maid who's thirsty as all hell is a fun character concept that the shows goes all-out on showing off. Her being the youngest out the bunch is another aspect to Messi's character that's shown off pretty well, as well as technically being Crafty's daughter due to how he himself was responsible for creating her after dumping a bunch of cleaning products down the sink.

Aside from how she's changed and matured as a character in the later seasons due to how some people had a problem with how she was written early on, my final note for Messi is how she was voiced by the incredibly talented Toxicsoul77, who appears to be one of my favorite online artists. The woman has plenty of talent when it comes to these sorts of things, and it definitely showed here.

For what I've got to say on Crystelle, I feel like she's a fun character that didn't get enough spotlight due to the show being canned. Don't get me wrong, she's had a good amount of moments ever since she was introduced in Season 3, but part of me feels like if there was a chance to fully flesh her story out alongside everyone else, it should've been taken advantage of. Aside from that, Crystelle's design is one of the best and most creative out of the entire cast. A fortune teller is one thing, but having their own head be a crystal ball is a very neat idea that I don't think I've seen elsewhere. Aside from that, the Questionable Qloest spinoff is my personal favorite of the main show and its various spinoffs. There's just something so chill and calm about it that I very much like, as Crystelle is not only the perfect host for a show like it, it plays a big part of this show by sharing out bits and pieces of lore about the greater Crafty universe as a whole. It's sweet, I like it.

I honestly feel like Stylene was the character that was done the dirtiest by the show's cancelation. I'm not saying that it was the show runners' fault for this, I'm just saying that they were cooking for this witch is gonna be banging. Even with how her story is gonna remain unfinished, Stylene herself was still a pretty dynamic character. And as someone who likes redesigns of characters, she basically speaks to me on a personal level, considering that's basically what her spin-off show was all 'bout.

As for what else I could say about Stylene? Well, it's my personal headcanon that she's definitely gay on some level. Probably bi, if we're honest. This woman is the pure definition of be gay, do crime.

Now that the Crafty Crew's taken care of, we can move on to essentially my favorite character of this entire show. Sasha is absolutely GREAT, y'all, and it kinda feels like she would’ve been the type of character to get popular onto her. Not only is this a very effective design for a cosmic horror, nor how she's adorable in both of her forms, how she's written very well as a character that plays in a huge part in Crafty's past, has gotten plenty of character development, or how she fits well with the other characters she's on screen with personally (Including a certain hunchback old lady(?) that we'll get to shortly)... she's just that versatile as a character in her own right. There's basically two sides of Sasha that perfectly capture what I'm trying to say here...

(Remember, these two designs are from the same exact character. One side is a terrifying eldritch abomination capable of permanently erasing you from existence if she wanted to, and the other is a goofy, lovable nerd)

If I can be real here, I honestly feel like gushing about Sasha on here is something that should happen more. This absolute goof of a lovecraftian horror is one of my personal favorite characters in fiction, and she deserves alot more love these days. The last thing that I wanna say about this woman for now is if there was some sort of way to easily deal with the whole conflict of who Crafty eventually falls in love with... Have him, Nurse, and Sasha be in a polycule together. Nurse has been hinted to be bisexual alot in the show, and she even blushed upon seeing Sasha in her human form for the first time, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to be into both Crafty and Sasha. And Sasha would feel like she would be absolutely bi. Again, alongside Messi being a lesbian and Pepper being grey-asexual, the other Dr. Crafty characters would certainly fit with the IGBTQ+ community.

What I'm trying to say here is this: let Sasha be gay, dammit.

Regarding my feelings about Mindstein.... Well, in my very humble opinion, Mindstein is kind of a mixed bag, if I'm really being honest. On one hand, she's got quite a bit going for her; Pretty good design that highlights her personality well, Oliva Steele doing a great job with her voice, as she's a horror buff, and being very horrifying as an irredeemable monster. On the other hand, however, I feel like she could've had more as a character. I'm not saying that she shouldn't be as much of a bloodthirsty, power-hungry psychopath that revels in the chaos and terror that she causes, as she was in the show whenever she showed up. All I'm saying is she should've been a bit more comedic, if that makes sense for this lady.

I get that this lady came about in the first place as a potshot towards White Diamond and how the show that she came from literally had no problem with redeeming a literal dictator, but I feel like Mindstein had a sort of weird silliness that could've been taken advantage of. With a name like DR. MINDSTEIN., that would definitely be the moniker of a villain who's both funny and threatening at the same time (Think something like Jack Horner, but a mad scientist lady). If it was possible, I feel like making this blue-brained bitch a complete nutcase and girlfailure who's absolutely petty as all hell would've been very fun. Have this woman be annoying the ever-living hell out of her victims as torture, getting into the most petty arguments imaginable on purpose, get herself into trouble when her plans blow up right in her face, and having Screw drag her out of it, much to her chagrin, go into mad fits of insane-induced laughter, taking the chance to toy with her victims personally for pranks while not working on her evil plans, and just being an absolute bratty gremlin to deal with, all while keeping her power-hungry motivations and sadistic tendencies. This would also fit in with being a sort of dark foil to Crafty. She's absolutely rotten to the core, she shouldn't be trusted anywhere near divine artifacts, she's in possession of far too many needles, she probably has rabies (and probably more than happy to bite you to get you infested), she knows she's the most insufferable bitch on the place...

And she's very proud of it.

Getting a legacy is only second to her biggest drive in life; Being an absolute troll.

To be honest, I don't have alot to say about either Screw or Metal Crafty. I like how Screw had a redemption arc planned for her after Season 4 (Sadly, due to how the show's canceled, we'll never see it happen), and it's been revealed she herself secretly planned the coordinates for UA High when punching Crafty off into the distance, ensuring that he'll find help in wherever she sent him to. Again, going back to the dark foil thing a bit, Screw would absolutely be tired of her master/mother's bullshit.

As for Metal? I'm really gonna be honest, outside of him being introduced in a few Sonic-based episode to highlight Mindstein fucking with the Crafty Crew, he really doesn't have alot going for him. Again, maybe that could've turned out differently for him had the show continued, but that's just how the ol' ball bounces. Also, the guy who voiced him was uncredited due to how he was caught being a transphobe, getting fired in the process. Thought that would be something to point out.

What was originally a running gag character, Disgustilda has gone to be hinted to be alot more important to the show's plot than she was letting on. Yeah, she's definitely a buffoon, but given what was planned for her later on if the show didn't end, you'd be very surprised.

See this? The suspiciously-looking Infinia-like abomination that briefly appeared at the end of Season 4's Sonic Month? The original plan, according to the show's What Could Have Been page on TV Tropes, was to not only reveal that Disgustilda was an Infinia. Get this.

DISGUSTILDA IS SASHA'S MOM

I have no idea what would've happened if the show fully revealed this twist, but whatever it could've been, it could've been a McFuckin' spectacle. Given how the castle that the Crafty Crew lived in was revealed to be hers, Disgustilda already had alot layer of plot brilliance to her. I can see her both helping Sasha with expressing her feelings and wanting to make up to Crafty for leaving him behind in the past (along with having her ask Nurse out), but also smacking the ever-living hell out of Mindstein when her full form was revealed.

All and all, Dr. Crafty was a crazy experience to someone like me, and I feel like it certainly fits the confines of this blog well. While Crafty himself has moved on to his V-tuber career (hope that goes very well for him), I wanted do justice to the original show's canon and characters by talking about them. If you haven't seen this show on Youtube, give it a watch.

Still tho, Crafty, Nurse, and Sasha should've been in a polycule. They deserve each other, dammit.

I’m not sure if it’s a good time to ask this, but after seeing @mrultra100’s post about the matter, what was your history with the Dr. Crafty show? And what kind of history did you have with the creator?

Ah, I see folks are talking about the whole mess on here now too? (As an important sidenote: I talked about it in length on my Twitter, but I privated my account and don't plan on ever using it again.)

For those who don't know, this is in reference to the Youtuber and VTuber that went by the alias "Dr. Crafty", also known as Alexander "Alex" Tansley.

The short of it is that I used to work for him for around two years and thought of him as a friend - until I reached the point of realizing that something was very wrong with having the man close to myself and my friends.

Basically, after making some fanart of some of the characters from his show, Crafty and I got in contact and it became what I thought was a fun friendship that developed throughout the months. Now I know better and I know he has a pattern of "befriending" people to get things out of them.

Around the end of 2018 I brought up that I'd be happy to help out with his show if he ever needed help… and that lead to me creating all of the "Questionable Qloset" tarot cards. (Which he put up on his Red Bubble without asking me. If there was ever money made with them, I never saw a cut.)

I was not doing well mentally at the time at all, hell, I worked on the tarot cards while being in medical rehab and he still was pushy for me to finish them way earlier than we had agreed on. But at this point I am not surprised that he took avantage of my less than great mental state. It seems to be a pattern for him, having read several testimonies.

That work unfortunately also lead to me being one of the absolutely overworked employees during the creation of the "I Need A Hero Academia" finale for his show. I was tasked to colour, shade and add effects to the storyline bits of one full episode of that three-part finale, and some bits in the third episode, along with coloring two short animations. Close to 200 illustrations coloured. 90 bucks for all of that work. And burned out at the end of it all. A nightmare.

I also was responsible for designing the Infinia Relics and big villain at the end of the series, but aside from one glimpse of her, that design mostly remained unused.

Along with that I was also partially responsible for the core idea behind "Shakeup Saloon", as I had the idea for the host character - but Crafty took my idea and warped it into something almost unreconizable. He also never credited the person who gave him the idea for the show itself in the first place, Nero (of "ToonGrin"), one of his editiors at the time.

In general, Crafty hated crediting us for all the work we did to make his shows a reality. I had to beg for myself and my co-worker Zaz (who did the lineart I colored) in the finale to be even credited in the last video of the three parter. We didn't even get credited on the video we did the most work on.

So… in general, looking back it was an exhausting work experience.

My personal gripes with him mirror the behavior you might've heard from a multitude of folks on Twitter last month.

Unwanted pushing to do NSFW rp (and me telling him off multiple times, but he would try again multiple times) and trying to do the same with anyone he perceived as female in my private discord server. If you were AFAB, he'd try to slide into your DMs, basically. Which also goes hand in hand with him completely disreguarding that I am a trans man and drawing me with an hour glass figure and needing to be reminded to not draw me with massive tits. It just felt like if he percieved you as a women, he'd use you for his own entertainment as he saw fit. It just took me too long to realize that. Still, I managed to completely cut contact with him in 2020.

All in all, Crafty was a shitty boss and a creep who pretended to be my friend. And that's all I'll say on that matter on here.

Don't waste your energy on thinking about Crafty. Support his victims and let them heal.

The series follows a team led by a tech genius and her new partner as they work in the organization alongside reptilian shapeshifters, a human–dolphin hybrid, and a sapient mushroom from hollow Earth.

Cast Lizzy Caplan as Reagan Ridley; a brilliant yet socially awkward robotics engineer who works at Cognito Inc. and believes that society itself can be improved, managing her irresponsible coworkers while seeking out a coveted promotion along the way. Christian Slater as Randall "Rand" Ridley; Reagan's father, and Tamiko's ex-husband. He lives with his daughter Reagan, drinking copious amounts of alcohol and plotting revenge against his former employers while finding time to engage in flame wars with Richard Dawkins. He is reinstated as Cognito CEO by the Shadow Board at the end of season 1 as he holds the most shares in the company.

Clark Duke as Brett Hand; a yes-man from Washington, D.C. who has a front as a fratboy but is actually a sensitive and caring person who wants his peers to follow in his footsteps and strives to bring out the best in his friends and colleagues. It is implied that he was hired partly because his generic appearance made him undetectable to facial recognition software.

Tisha Campbell as Gigi Thompson; a public relations officer, she is the fast-talking Head of Media Manipulation and Subliminal Messages at Cognito, and who is also the queen of office gossip. She is also a big flirt who goes after Brett and is constantly remarking on her looks.

Andy Daly as J.R. Scheimpough; the current CEO of Cognito, a crafty conversationalist who can talk his way out of potentially compromising predicaments. He is sent to "Shadow Prison X" via tube at the end of season 1 after attempting to embezzle the company pension fund to purchase a volcano island lair.

Chris Diamantopoulos as ROBOTUS, the robotic replacement of the President of the United States. Reagan keeps him locked up in Cognito's basement, bribing him with Friends episodes so that he will help her with various schemes. He evolves into the ultimate AI with the goal of destroying humanity.

John DiMaggio as Glenn Dolphman; a human-dolphin hybrid super soldier who oversees Cognito's weapons and arsenal.

Bobby Lee as Dr. Andre Lee; a free-spirited yet anxious biochemist who experiments with a range of unusual narcotics, and is also addicted to some of the very same drugs he creates.

Brett Gelman as Magic Myc; a psychic mushroom-like organism from a hive mind deep inside Hollow Earth with a dry, sarcastic demeanor and the ability to read peoples' minds. The show's opening sequence implies that his species inadvertently brought about the evolution of humanity when their spores were consumed by ancient apes. Myc also provides pure bio sorbitrate, a chemical the company uses for their memory eraser guns, which they have to literally milk him for.

Scarlett Johansson to Star as Bride of Frankenstein for A24

Universal Pictures’ dubious attempt to remake Bride of Frankenstein as part of the “Dark Universe” might be dead, but the concept of reimagining the idea of a reanimated “Bride” in the 21st century leads on—with Scarlett Johansson as the lead, no less. The news came late Thursday when A24 and Apple TV+ announced Johansson would star in The Bride, a modern reworking of one of the most potent ideas in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein novel.

The new film, which will be directed by Sebastián Lelo, reimagines the story of the Bride’s creation as less the attempt to build a “Monster’s Mate”—as she is credited in the 1935 Bride of Frankenstein movie—and more a parable about a woman finding a sense of self-realization in the modern world. It’s so modern in fact that her creator will be a wealthy tech CEO who has fastened a lady out of raw materials exclusively for himself. The logline reads as follows:

“A woman created to be an ideal wife—the singular obsession of a brilliant entrepreneur—rejects her creator, and is forced to flee her confined existence, confronting a world that sees her as a monster. It is on the run that she finds her true identity, her surprising power, and the strength to remake herself as her own creation.”

The project is obviously a major endeavor for Johansson, who is producing the film alongside Jonathan Lia through their These Pictures banner. She also said in a statement, “It is long overdue for Bride to step out of the shadow of her male counterpart and stand alone… I am extremely excited to emancipate the classic anti-heroine and reanimate her story to reflect the change we see today.”

Johansson is of course hardly the first to try and breathe life into the concept. While the title “Bride of Frankenstein” is copyrighted by Universal Pictures, the concept of a female creature was a strong focal point in the narrative of Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel. In the book, Victor Frankenstein is pressured under threat of death by his Creature to make a female bride for the new species of reanimated corpses. Victor ultimately refuses at the eleventh hour, but the idea was so potent James Whale unpacked it fully in his 1935 masterpiece wherein Frankenstein (Colin Clive) creates a woman for Boris Karloff’s legendary monster.

Things of course do not go as planned, and Elsa Lanchester’s iconic turn as the Monster lasts about five minutes before she rejects Karloff’s lovelorn Monster, and he in turn condemns them both to a fiery death. Still, the idea of a Bride has lingered in pop culture, with Kenneth Branagh trying to insert her creation into his fascinating failure of an adaptation, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1994). The Bride has also starred in her own film before, though not one any person has reason to remember, with Jennifer Beals playing the title role in The Bride (1985). It’s a misbegotten ‘80s attempt at Gothic horror; so ‘80s, in fact, it cast Sting as Dr. Frankenstein!

Perhaps the most notable attempt at making the Bride her own woman was when Billie Piper played a subversive version of the character in Showtime’s underrated Penny Dreadful series. Be that as it may, there’s a lot of room to expand here and offer a version as compelling as Lanchester’s brief 1935 appearance. At least judging by the logline, Johansson and Lelio are attempting to forgo the male Monster altogether, in which case this allows them to be an even looser (and more liberated) take on the Frankenstein myth. Indeed, one might wonder if the concept sounds like it is building on the final fleeting minutes of Alex Garland’s Ex Machina (2015), which concluded with an android killing her tech CEO inventor and striking out into the world.

Not that we’d mind, as Ex Machina is one of the finest science fiction movies of the last 20 years, and a pretty crafty retelling of the Frankenstein passion play. A24 also just so happened to release that film, just as they will be producing Bride alongside Apple TV+, who will premiere the film. A24 and Apple TV+’s first collaboration premieres on the streaming service later this week, with a delightful reunion of Bill Murray and Sofia Coppola in On the Rocks.

Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo will write Bride, following up their work on scripting Blumhouse’s upcoming The Wolfman remake, which will star Ryan Gosling.

Emmerdale Live and Organized - December 13, 2017

Hello! Welcome to the preshow! I guess I went overboard in yesterdays preshow, but I really hate spoilers. So, yeah. Please excuse the yelling. I never mean to be too rude towards all of you here.

If I figured out what is happening today, this is an early warning. I think the doctor is here to play ‘perfect doctor’ today with The Dingles. So, I won’t be nice, and I won’t be pretty about how I feel about this character.

I hate Dr. Flat Ass, Plot Device Lite, Dr. Creeper, Dr. Rebound, and Dr. Manipulative. I don’t like the guy. In fact, last night while Justine and I were talking about him we noticed something. To get more from Aaron, he mentions Robert. Its like he knows that is a button to push to get more from Aaron. That just adds to the creepy parts of him. Yeah, he is supposed to be Dr. Perfect, and all the Dingles are lining up on their knees for him, but I will always look at him as a manipulative creeper.

That is all.

Inside Job (2021 TV series)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Inside Job is an American adult animated science fiction workplace comedy television series created by Shion Takeuchi, which premiered on October 22, 2021, on Netflix. Shion Takeuchi, a former Gravity Falls writer, acts as showrunner and is an executive producer alongside Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch and BoJack Horseman director Mike Hollingsworth. The series received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the animation, voice acting and social commentary, though its humor polarized critics. The series was renewed for a second season in June 2022.

Premise Inside Job is a workplace comedy set in a world where many conspiracy theories are real. It is centered on an American shadow government organization Cognito, Inc., which attempts to control the world and keep the conspiracies secret. The series follows a team led by a tech genius and her new partner as they work in the organization alongside reptilian shapeshifters, a human–dolphin hybrid, and a sapient mushroom from hollow Earth.

Cast Lizzy Caplan as Reagan Ridley; a brilliant yet socially awkward robotics engineer who works at Cognito Inc. and believes that society itself can be improved, managing her irresponsible coworkers while seeking out a coveted promotion along the way. Takeuchi described Reagan as a leader who "wants to make the world a better place." It is frequently suggested by her friends, family and co-workers that she has Asperger's, which she in turn denies.

Christian Slater as Randall "Rand" Ridley; Reagan's father, and Tamiko's ex-husband. The paranoid former CEO and co-founder of Cognito Inc who was fired after nearly exposing the Deep State and trying to blow up the sun as his "solution" to cure skin cancer. He lives with his daughter Reagan, drinking copious amounts of alcohol and plotting revenge against his former employers while finding time to engage in flame wars with Richard Dawkins. He is reinstated as Cognito CEO by the Shadow Board at the end of season 1 as he holds the most shares in the company.

Clark Duke as Brett Hand; a yes-man from Washington, D.C. who has a front as a fratboy but is actually a sensitive and caring person who wants his peers to follow in his footsteps and strives to bring out the best in his friends and colleagues. It is implied that he was hired partly because his generic appearance made him undetectable to facial recognition software.

Tisha Campbell as Gigi Thompson; a public relations officer, she is the fast-talking Head of Media Manipulation and Subliminal Messages at Cognito, and who is also the queen of office gossip. She is also a big flirt who goes after Brett and is constantly remarking on her looks.

Andy Daly as J.R. Scheimpough; the current CEO of Cognito, a crafty conversationalist who can talk his way out of potentially compromising predicaments. He is sent to "Shadow Prison X" via tube at the end of season 1 after attempting to embezzle the company pension fund to purchase a volcano island lair.

Chris Diamantopoulos as ROBOTUS, the robotic replacement of the President of the United States. Reagan keeps him locked up in Cognito's basement, bribing him with Friends episodes so that he will help her with various schemes. He evolves into the ultimate AI with the goal of destroying humanity.

John DiMaggio as Glenn Dolphman; a human-dolphin hybrid super soldier who oversees Cognito's weapons and arsenal.

Bobby Lee as Dr. Andre Lee; a free-spirited yet anxious biochemist who experiments with a range of unusual narcotics, and is also addicted to some of the very same drugs he creates.

Brett Gelman as Magic Myc; a psychic mushroom-like organism from a hive mind deep inside Hollow Earth with a dry, sarcastic demeanor and the ability to read peoples' minds. The show's opening sequence implies that his species inadvertently brought about the evolution of humanity when their spores were consumed by ancient apes. Myc also provides pure bio sorbitrate, a chemical the company uses for their memory eraser guns, which they have to literally milk him for.
