favorite thing about them - honestly? How freaking beautiful Katie McGrath is. She's one of the most gorgeous people I have ever laid my eyes on. I could stare at her forever. She's like poetry in motion. Aside from that, I like the same things about her that I do about SV Lex: how hard she tries to be and do good, how she feels she has to be constantly on alert for possible corruption, how emotional and passionate she is, how she throws all of herself into whatever she's doing, gives all of herself to whoever she loves. Oh, and her competence.

least favorite thing about them - the fandom? ok, mild spoilers!!! her s6 storyline was bad and unnecessary and took away some of the things I liked about her. Some of the evil things she does in s5 end up never really being addressed, and it was a missed opportunity for character development.

Stargate-Atlantis S5: E10 & 11 First Contact & The Lost Tribe

I've now seen enough SG-1 to be happy to see Daniel Jackson. 😄 I love him and Rodney working together. It's very like Ronon and Teal'c meeting for the first time.

Woolsey: Todd has less baggage with me than you. 🤣🤣🤣

Woolsey leaves Sheppard in command and says: Try not to blow her up while I'm gone. Why would you say that???

I'm always uncomfortable when the teams split up.

Sheppard saying Daniel and Rodney make a good team has to be him poking. He's too good at studying people to not realize they aren't working well together.

Daniel and Rodney are chuckling because they think Sheppard isn't as smart as them, but when things go bad, Sheppard is just as quick as Rodney to put it all together. I also think this is interesting considering Daniel's experience with Jack. Jack is good at what he does, but constantly requests the dumbing down of things and even admits he has no idea how the stargates work. Sheppard seems to generally grasp the science stuff and listens when Rodney is rabid fire explaining. So I think Rodney is giving him a hard time, but I think Daniel actually thinks he's as jockish as Jack, who Daniel loves, but still. It was an interesting moment.

I always thought it sad that Todd thinks Atlantis betrayed him. I mean, he's always coming up with layered plans that are almost betrayals, but it wasn't Atlantis.

I love that Ronon's first thing is arming Keller.

John sends Teyla to safety, not only protecting his people, but I think to command if he dies.

Also, there is a serious lack of Lorne in this episode .

Episode 11: The Lost Tribe

See! It opens with Teyla getting everyone to safely. Sheppard knows what he's about.

Sheppard bodily protects Radek.

Radek: we lost the control room. That is bad.

Teyla: we did not lose you. That's good.

I love that you can feel the horror of the device through Todd's reaction to it. He's ready to do anything to shut the device down. Anything.

Sheppard leaves with the Travelers and, this time, has a chance to explain why he's leaving Teyla behind. He trusts her to lead Atlantis while he's gone.

When Ronon is shooting up the engine room, I wonder if Keller had a hard time not switching to Kaylee? 🤣

Daniel talking to the Asgard is *spoiler warning* when you watch Atlantis before SG-1.

Todd refuses Sheppard's offer to join forces, tries to manipulate Keller, sets the Deadalus on a collision course, and abandons it. Meanwhile, McKay and Daniel work together. Sheppard joins the Travelers. Ronan retakes the Deadalus. What Atlantis has, that Todd doesn't, that can't be beat, is trust. Trust in each other.

Ronon gets rejected by Keller. I honestly don't think him and Keller made a great pair. He needs a very special sort of woman.

Great two episodes.

Oooooooo, feel free to talk about One Piece at any point. And fair on the TV shows. Most of the shows I watch tend to be anime. MHA was one of them, got up to s5 tho. Doctor Who was one of my favs, sad that I didn't watch past S7. I think I started S8 at some point, but man- I've also started Stargate SG-1, but my fam watched on without me. One I don't remember but loved growing up is MacGyver. Otherwise I don't know much about the ithers you mentioned. But cool regardless!

Same!! The older Disney movies always take the cake. And then, of their recent movies, Encanto, CoCo, Luca, and Moana were great. So, absolutely agreed! I watched Marvel, on and off, until the end of Infinity War? Whatever the last movie of that was. I really wanna continue with the Spiderman movies tho. He's my fav of all time.

Oh, I feel you on the action movies, they do tend to get a bit repetitive. I don't watch too many anymore, and couldn't list any at this point in time.

Dude, I don't know much about the others, but man, dreamworks are amazing movies.

Damsel is actually really intriguing, I wasn't too sure about it before but oh my god! So, essentially, it's about this girl who is being taken in to become this Prince's bride, only to have to deal with a dragon? I really don't want to give too many spoilers unless you just want me to ramble off about it. But the action is amazing, running, this lady's smarts. Oh! Our MC is Milly Bobby Brown (i hope I spelled her name correctly). Leanred a couple of fun facts about her, she had to face quite a few of her phobias which honestly, I could completely understand. Over all, if you would like to hear more, I'd gladly go into detail later! 💜💜

A story (a real one because I suck at doing quick fiction ones on the fly): A friend and I realized at college that if I tucked myself up pretty tightly, I could sit on a storage-shelf-thing that she had on the back of her bike. So for a good several months she would ride around on her bike with me hitchhiking a ride on the back and grinning at people as we zipped past. It was very fun 😆

Aaaahhhh! Absolutely same! I love chatting, and my IRL friends are well- I constantly forget are my friends sometimes. I have a lot of people I can talk to, and fewer that I can hang out with. I've always been more of an online person (been mostly online since late middle school). So it always makes me happy to find others who share interests with me and also wanna talk with myself as well. It's- It's really nice!

My favorite color would have to be any shade of blue! Close seconds would have to be green and purple though. More of like a mint ish green, more of that muted color? Not too bright, or neon green is great. Purple, either lilac, or dark vibrant purple. Music genre is a bit tricky. Since I listen to quite a variety and they're all so amazing. If this counts as a genre, I'd say music that people make for content creators. Otherwise, I guess pop? They're all great tho. Goodness- I love movies, a lot easier to binge and just watch and finish. Horror films are great, and I can't watch psychological learned that the hard way-, though I love romance and action just as much. I actually just watched Damsel last night, and oh my god- I loved it. Sad, but really good! TV shows, I love as well, mostly anime though. One Piece is one of my favs, along with ERASED, Fruits Basket, and some more. I can't pick between the two. They're all so amazing.

I love both Lena and Kara equally, and while I'm SO relieved that the drama isn't being dragged out anymore, their making up was sooo rushed.

Lena did some really bad, dumb shit, and I'm glad she got called out on it - but Kara's betrayal was SO much deeper than the show let on. It was so much more than one mistake.

Kara was always raising Lena up, trusting her so easily, while Supergirl was knocking her back down and questioning her motives (sometimes in the same day...) How was Lena supposed to conflate the two personas in her mind? It's fucked.

I hate that they just brushed over it. 😞

Hopefully they'll talk about it some more (calmy and in a healthy way) in S6 but I ain't getting my hopes up lol.

Good point. It would make sense to incorporate Lena’s anti-kryptonite tech for sure - and the new suit also ‘paints’ itself on in a similar way to the S4 one. Does she also tap her chest/crest to activate it? I did like that part.

Seems like a lot of CGI budget to spend if it happens this way each time she suits up? I hope the shirt rips still pop up sometimes! Though Kara rarely wears shirts to work anymore, it seems. ☹️
