CW: Big Naviangey lore info dump, featuring guest star; Yae Miko. Scroll past if you don’t care for it! I just wanted to share with the fish tank in case anyone was interested because I am a delusional self shipper 😰

Fun fact: Navia hates Yae Miko in the Naviangey lore. This is because I thought it would be funny if Yae Miko came over to Fontaine on a business trip, however some chaotic shenanigans ensue where Miko is chased by the Fontainian dogs and left running away in her tiny pink fox form to escape. As she is running however, she stumbles upon Angey-sona who, if you remember from her character sheet, is a famous dog groomer in Fontaine. Mistaking Miko for a weird pink stray dog, Miko ends up being picked up by Angey-sona and taken to her home to get cleaned up.

Considering that Yae Miko is a fully grown woman, she is at first very annoyed by this. But since Angey-sona is a professional dog groomer, she pampers Miko so well that she finds herself liking being spoiled. She gets baths, her paws rubbed down with lotion, gourmet food. She ends up staying with Angey-sona for about a week, sneaking out of the house to attend her business meetings and sneaking back in the house before Angey-sona comes back from work.

While this is all happening however, Navia is extremely skeptical of the weird pink dog that Angey-sona suddenly adopted (this is before they were even dating). And Navia’s skepticism is proven true when Yae Miko decides to thank Angey-sona on her last day in Fontaine, by showing her real form.

Does Angey-sona explode because there’s suddenly a hot woman in her room? Yes. Does anything happen? No because Angey-sona still has a big fat crush on Navia.

Nevertheless, even though nothing happened, Miko decides to tease Navia about it because she sensed the blonde’s crush on Angey-sona as well. It is very in character for Miko to go “yes, Angey-sona and I bathed together. She even gave me kisses and let me sleep in her bed” though crucially leaving out the detail that they only did that when Miko was a “dog.”

Navia gets the wrong idea of course, and now she thinks Miko and Angey-sona did intimate things together even though they didn’t. Miko basically played homewrecker for funsies 😭😭

P.S: Yae Miko’s temporary name when Angey-sona thought she was a dog, was “Pinky.” Miko absolutely hated the name but she sucked it up so Angey-sona could still spoil her 💀

Randomly thinkin about Chilchuck today, and how he tries sooooo hard to self sabotage

like for example, other half foots on the island think that he's a greedy asshole who only cares about money, and he does nothing to try to disprove that

but then there's this omake at the end of book 9 that shows that people treat half foots fucking TERRIBLY and chilchuck started a union to protect them

and then in the bicorn chapter, he doesn't want Marcille to keep digging into his personal business so he tells her he CHEATED ON HIS WIFE

but he just COMPLETELY fuckin lied about that and made himself sound so much worse than he is bc he's afraid of being vulnerable with people and would rather everyone believes he's a shitty person so he can keep them at a distance

and the thing that's memed so often is that he refuses to help with fighting most of the time because it's not part of his contract

but if you take this lore into account (not gonna add those particular images to this post simply bc I've used them in so many posts already LMAO) along with this tidbit from the world guide:

then it's like. yeah he has to keep his weight low so if he gets killed or severely injured and has to be healed, that could be really dangerous for him. and even if he was healed at that point he'd end up being a burden to the party after that point, he would be too dangerously thin/sickly to be able to help.

Like, Chilchuck has so many things about him that APPEAR to be character flaws, but every single one of them has a very reasonable explanation. He just leans into the mischaracterization bc he's emotionally withholding and can handle people thinking he's an asshole more than he can handle opening up to anyone. he's such a well thought out and interesting character

To Peri and Jordan, it might he better at looking into making Dev a Fairy. I mean, he's a neglected kid so desperate for fatherly love that he TEAMED UP with Anti Faries, and nearly mamaged to take over Fairy World completely just for a chance that his father would love him.

There's no telling that a Anti Fairy might try going after him again, and use him again, and have the events repeat. Least as a Fairy Dev could be monitored more. He's arguably a unique case like Timmy is; if not one that can warrant more danger if not careful. (Plus I don't think the memory spell worked on him considering he always wears sunglasses)

I think I'm going to have to go with tumblr, and it's not just because we're here. Twitter and Bluesky are nice and my experiences on both are overwhelmingly positive. But tumblr has an atmosphere that encourages originality, sharing your creations and talking about things in depth.

The fact that Joel won this season is so perfect to me as a boat boys fan. I made a post earlier about Joel and Etho having opposite arcs this season and how being Etho's soulmate is what made him understand the importance of having a ride or die. Well, now Joel has won, he's proved in his own mind that having close allies you are loyal to until the very end is what you need to win. Obviously Joel's win is his and his alone, but Etho is definitely cheering the loudest from the sidelines because that's his Joel, he's the one who taught him how to do that.

Neither of them will ever be the same again after Double Life and I'm not OK about it.

It is so incredible to me how Solas and Lavellan have their own code to communicate to each other. Not only explicitly in lines of dialogue, like the elvhen they use in a room full of people just to have their private moment, or the hallelujah cadence they use in certain moments (like when you meet the Inquisitor the second time).

I'm talking about Lost Elf and the music that plays in the "Atonement" romanced ending in Veilguard. Two instruments having a dialogue while time is running. How the tune changes when Lavellan appears in the scene, shifting from the big Dread Wolf vibes to a new arrangement (dialogue?) of the Lost Elf. The music even stops for one second.

I'm obsessing over this little detail, I know, but I think it shows, even if you don't understand Solas or Lavellan body language to each other in the finale, what is happening. They're having the same debate all over again but it is different, the music is telling you it's different. More elements influence it. Lavellan knows better now, the violin is different and it doesn't have this desperate vibe to it.

I always admired Hans Zimmer since I was a little kid and getting to play Veilguard, save Solas from his worst fear and Hans Zimmer taking his time to do something specific for the solavellan ending makes me feel like it was my birthday.

As always, there has to be a silly little bird fact to start off with so did you know that the American Kestrel is the smallest falcon in North America and only weighs about 3-6 ounces which is the equivalent of 34 pennies? This fact isn't actually important lore wise for this headcanon, but it did remind me of the one post where someone discovered that BoTW Link weighs approximately 8.5 apples.

Anyways, as you may have guessed, Wild is heavily based on the American Kestrel because of their beautiful plumage and their unique behaviors and characteristics.

An example of one of these behaviors is that American Kestrels are known for capitalizing on favorable soaring conditions, such as mountain updrafts and thermals while traveling. In this headcanon, Wild shows this characteristic primarily through his use of Revali's Gale and his tendency to make fires in order to more easily take flight. While his methods are incredibly effective, they do also tend to scare the rest of the group the first time he does them. After all, it's not everyday you see someone make a fire and then run headfirst into it just to take off.

While this specific habit of his may appear to just be a funny little quirk that he just does because he's WILD, it's actually a result of his near death experience with Guardians. The scars on his face and body may be clearly visible to everyone around him, but the damage done to his wings is actually far less noticeable. His various injuries and scars actually have a major impact on his ability to take off and effect his stamina needed to maintain flight for long periods of time. Because of this, he tends to use the aforementioned methods to aid his flight or oftentimes simply chooses to leap off high surfaces and glide rather than attempt to take flight.

However, despite having difficulties with the initial takeoff and his struggles to maintain flight for long periods of time, he's actually very adept and capable of fighting in the air. The way he fights allows him to deliver sharp, agile, and accurate killing blows to his enemies in a way that others describe as, "Witnessing time seemingly slowing down for everyone but him." In other words, he's a real force to be reckoned in once he's finally airborne.

Okay.. we have Megatron’s, we have shockwave’s, we have starscream’s?(if i’m correct)- so what about Soundwave’s interactions?

Sure!

Soundwave is someone who doesn't get attached to bots much, and when he does, it's because he sees something in them that he doesn't see in others, and he will do everything in his willpower to protect them.

Soundwave's strongest bond is that with Shockwave. He and Shockwave were both relatively young at the time they met, and Shockwave's sweet personality and his willingness to listen to Soundwave made Soundwave enjoy his company and form feelings only described by a spark bond. Shockwave is Soundwave's only experience with anything close to romantic feelings, something he almost never has. He feels like it's his duty to never let even a slight scratch hurt Shockwave

Soundwave's relationship with Megatron is an interesting one, because it all started out in the Kaon gladiator pits. Soundwave met Megatron during a gladiator battle and instead of slaying him, he decided to spare and even defended him. After getting to know Megatron and his backstory more, Soundwave formed a strong bond with him, and developed some sort of respect and loyalty, even if Megatron was a gentle and pathetic bot.

Soundwave despises Starscream as much as Starscream despises him. He wishes he could eject his grumpy ahh into empty space. As much as he does not want Starscream on board, he doesn't want to disagree with one of Megatron's requests, which was to please welcome Starscream with open arms, or to "prove him with kindness." Also, Soundwave gets along with Starscream's brothers, and he knows that ejecting Starscream into outer space will sadden them deeply. He's also aware that Starscream is Shockwave's former science idol.

Soundwave feels mostly neutral towards Knockout, but he does respect him. He finds Knockout's story quite interesting, especially since Knockout came from a very low caste yet knew so much about the field of medicine. He trusts Knockout with his medical procedures and he appreciates him for being there alongside him when they rescued Shockwave after empurata.
