Every day I see discourse about how it’s problematic to make a character a trans man and an omega in omegaverse or problematic to “treat a twink character like ‘the girl one’” or some nonsense and then I come on your blog and it’s a breath of fresh air every time. LOVED that post about the rapid werewolf pregnancy, so glad the world will never lack for fetish stuff that I actually like just because people incorrectly think gay people are reinventing gender roles in writing about fictional smut scenarios.

Honestly, sometimes I see people get a bit grumpy and upset with recs of my work because there aren't enough trans men topping or what have you and they're just not interested in trans men bottoming or subbing and that's completely fine!

But it doesn't mean that I'm some sort of evil fetishisiser force-feminising every trans or effete man and single-handedly holding up the side of global transphobia, lmao.

Some people are unfortunately just very sensitive about their own dysphoria and project it onto other people's fetish and kink work, and not everyone has the ability to separate their own dysphoria or discomfort, or just having the ick, from their perceived ethics or morality of that work existing.

It's difficult for many people to unlearn those reactionary tendencies, especially without exposure to healthy and unemotional talk about sex and sexuality, including kink and fetish, and so faced with all that tangled emotion and nowhere to put it, you end up with angry essays and paragraph on paragraph about how this is upholding various bigotries or is responsible for actual hate crimes and such.

Rest assured I will be posting away with my usual revolting erotic horror and terrible hentai scenarios because I just think they're such fun. So I definitely know that "anti" has a way more intense definition now than it used to - but for some reason I find it a bit hard to grasp just how new this whole anti thing even is in the firstplace. Antis are new. Specifically, the "Conservative Protestantism in a gay hat" thing that that one tumblr post pointed out is new.

We had doxxing in the past. We had masses of shipwank. We also had "How dare you write that m/m ship. It's bad!"

The key is that the "Your m/m ship is bad" crowd used to openly be conservative Christian homophobes who objected to homosexuality itself. Nowadays, they're queer 20-somethings who like m/m ships but object to gay sex.

It's the anti-kink, anti-fantasy brigade coming from "our side" instead of the outside, essentially. It's respectability politics about "Sempai will love me if I just sanitize The Community and kick out the icky weirdos". It's personal disgust masquerading as morality where once it would have been masquerading as intellectual superiority.

It's a product of queerness being more public and tolerated overall. In the past, a lot of spaces devoted to m/m shipping had to be aggressively in favor of contentious fiction because the existence of anything m/m was itself contentious. There was plenty of "Well, my gay best friend said ___ is unrealistic, and my slash is good, unlike that of you plebes!" There was much less "Fujoshi means fetishizer".

Of course, I'm comparing the 90s internet to now or the mid 00s Livejournal fandom to Tumblr of this past decade. It really depends on whether Ye Olden Times was five years ago or twenty five.

The modern use of the term 'anti' did indeed grow out of the old habit of tagging your hate. As the default cultural mode shifted from "My NOTP is dumb" to "My NOTP is problematic", the usage changed. At some point, antis started getting offended by their self-applied term and pretending that the other side inflicted it on them. This is revisionism. Fiction-is-not-reality had some writeups with citations in the past.

The big shifts were happening around 2012-2016. The long slide into puritywankers being everywhere has only continued since then, but that's where the tipping point seems to have been. TikTok exacerbates this nonsense, and there are clearly plenty of people who are anti-queer and only weaponizing clueless queer youth.

The big shift is that liking m/m used to weed out most of the worst people, and now it attracts lots of them who will not fucking go away because they like the same ship, just the hand-holdy, no dicks can touch ever version.

They spend their time bleating about how AO3 should have been built for them and how anti-censorship activism doesn't matter... because they've grown up in a fandom world dominated by AO3, which shelters them from the reality that the "Ewww, all m/m sucks!" crowd is everywhere on other sites to this day.

That's probably why the shift is when it is. Certain aspects of mainstream queer acceptance were on the rise just as AO3 was getting big. But at the same time, the world is shit and everyone has anxiety they self-medicate through rage and security theater around sniffing out The Bad People.

none of this has anything to do with being same sex attracted. and i think most trans people would also be offended to be compared to people who have a fetish for (cartoon) animals. and „dressing weird“ and „looking different“ are not inherently lgb characterisitics.

Young Sirius as a boyfriend? I'm talking post Hogwarts Sirius, in the order. I imagined this scenario: there's this girl in the order (yeah, I know most people headcanon him as gay or bi, but for me he isn't, don't judge me, ok? :c), he doesn't feel much for her at first. They met in hogwarts, and she always kind of liked him, but he never cared so much for her, until they realised they have the same sense of humour, family trauma (different kind, but still) and a similar sense of adventure. Slowly he starts falling for her. I think he would be intense, but he wouldn't accept his feelings for her at first. I think that Sirius might have secretly wanted what James and Lily had..like he craved that kind of love he got from his friends (James especially), but at some point he would like to have his own family. Sorry too long😅

I’m not poo-pooing this idea, it’s only that I don’t see Sirius feeling like he has time for a relationship during the war, so I don’t think he’d ever be a boyfriend at all (or call himself one). If there really was a girl in the Order who fell for him (which, I sort of doubt because I think MWPP + Lily were the only youngsters in the group), I would imagine he would find anyone who doesn’t take the cause seriously to be a bit too silly for him. I agree with some of your points, but personally, I don’t think he would want what James and Lily had - I think he just wants JAMES (even if it isn’t Prongsfoot-style desire).

And who Sirius is in a relationship depends on who the person is, you know?

If you were going to build an OFC for young Sirius, you would need to make her really fucking interesting. Like, there’s no wishy-washy nonsense here, and you can’t self-insert here because our self-inserts are never that interesting (because we take away the things we don’t like about ourselves and hardly any of us see ourselves accurately tbh). I don’t think she needs to be that hot, frankly, but she needs to be interesting (but he’d need to find her sexy). This is why I rarely ship him with people his own age.

An OFC who’s in the Order for a post-Hogwarts, young Sirius could be:

- A woman who is 5-10 years older than him (or, idk, 15-20 is fine too). She should be able to teach him a few things, and he would probably then get off showing HER things.

- A young woman who was a prefect OR Head Girl when he was a 1st-2nd year and took points from him/gave him detention (and he never forgot). Same as above.

- A young woman who was recruited because she is VERY good at something (Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Potions, etc) and she’s very serious about it (and not very silly—that doesn’t mean not funny, but definitely not a silly person). OR she is really well-connected and her parents are hoping she’ll make a good marriage after Hogwarts, so Dumbledore sees her as a useful “in” to pureblood circles. But still, not silly.

But golly, I really struggle with OFCs for Sirius. I see him either having casual sex (not in a fuckboy way, but in a “sex is a stress reliever” way), or having a relationship so compelling to him that to suggest he’s simply a boyfriend would be insulting. No in-between. They are partners, not boyfriend/girlfriend. He takes the idea of each person giving equally very seriously, but in the end, he does have to ‘win’ and the person he’s with would have to accept that (but like, they could know he’s wrong and be okay with the fact that he thinks he’s won if he really hasn’t). Sirius is the most loyal person—once he’s decided on you, that’s it, baby. If you do something wrong or betray him, he’ll punish you (and it’ll be cold and mean and petty as hell). He’ll let you see the deepest parts of himself, but the trade-off is that he sees you too—and if you fuck with him, he will use your insecurities against you—very, very effectively.

So my point is, you not only have to be interesting, you have to be willing to be humble AND stick up for yourself just the right amount (unless he believes the sun shines out of your ass like James). It’s a fine fucking line. If you do something wrong, he’ll stand up for you, but you’d better not make it a habit. Don’t tell him what to do or suggest that you know better than him. You are partners, and if he feels like you’re getting the upper hand, he will bring you back to his level very quickly. No, I would not like to be in a romantic relationship with him.

The reason James is so perfect for Sirius is that Sirius sees him as everything a person is SUPPOSED to be. So uh, if you can top that, sure. Go for it.

Morituri Te Salutamus Review

“Morituri Te Salutamus” is one of two episode titles with non-English speaking words in it, and the only episode title with no English words in it. The Latin terminology translates to “We who are about to die, salute you”. Adventure Time season 3 episode 2: We Who Are About to Die, Salute You. That’d be quite the mouthful. The Latin translation fits the Roman theming in this one much better. There’s lots of bits of Latin throughout the episode, such as “eludere” (evasion) and “non pugnant, Flamma” (be not repugnant to him). I like when Adventure Time incorporates different cultures, such as Korean, to expand the world. I don’t think any episode commits to playing with a particular culture as much as this one.

Finn and Jake enter a Roman colosseum. It's up for debate if the arena is a few hundred years old and was merely inspired by ancient Rome, or if this is literally remnants of a colosseum from 3,000ish years ago. The gladiator ghosts are gay, and there is evidence suggesting homosexuality was more socially accepted in ancient Rome. Their names are even taken from Roman warriors from history and fiction. The magical element to the arena was definitely added post-Mushroom War, and the implication at the end is the ghosts had a similar story to Finn and Jake, meaning they weren’t humans from Rome (plus one of them has two heads).

I like how Finn and Jake are smart enough to immediately realize the place is a trap, but are confident enough to still take it on. They���ve clearly earned that confidence (with a strong helping of plot armor) as they succeed where all the gladiator ghosts failed. I like the Fight King, he has a cool design that adds to the episode’s atmosphere. He’s missing an arm, of course his right one. We can piece together the backstory of this place, but Fight King’s role and purpose remains pretty mysterious. It’s the second episode in a row with a king character, and it’s pretty consistent that rulers in Ooo are titled princess or king, rather than prince.

Finn and Jake fight the first pair of gladiator ghosts. The fights throughout this one are pretty fun and dynamic. Finn is strangely not using the Root Sword, but the Steel Sword for the first time. It’s a cool design, even with it weirdly resembling the Night Sword. I love the easy to miss detail that the injuries on each ghost matches the weapon used by the other. One of them refers to the other as their love. The crew were able to sneak in same-sex romance under Cartoon Network’s radar (confirmed canon by Andy Ristanio) and I don’t think it's a coincidence that Rebecca Sugar co-boarded this episode. Along with the Roman theming, my favorite part of the episode is all the hints given to the gladiators’ backstory (like them constantly apologizing to each other and begging for forgiveness). There’s enough pieces to figure out the history, the episode doesn’t need to make it explicit.

Finn and Jake have been quibbling over Jake’s non commitment to following through with Finn’s plans. Jake just wants to have fun, he doesn’t take the adventures as seriously as Finn. Jake lets Finn do all the work, so he can stay underground singing songs and execute his nonsensical plan of forming a molten hula hoop for morale. I like how passive their conflict is, they never actually get mad at each other, even with Finn’s deceit later on. Jake sings “On a Tropical Island”, another highlight of the episode. It’s hard to truly enjoy the song in the episode itself, as it's broken into four different scenes. But, it's great listening to the entire thing outside the context of the episode. It still stands as the best Jake song of the series. This is the song that people should be asking John DiMaggio to sing at every panel, not “Bacon Pancakes” every fucking time.

Finn is seemingly mind controlled by Fight King. Fight King has Finn fight Jake to the death, like he forced onto the gladiator couples. Add Finn stabbing the dummy Jake and trying to kill the real Jake onto the pile of Jake death foreshadowing. Jake’s confused reaction to his brother trying to kill him, in contrast to how easy going Finn was in his conflict with Jake, is heartbreaking. Finn tricks Fight King into giving him his sword, which seems to contain his soul. The sword’s rune reads “to fight is to live”, and apparently Fight King literally can’t live without it. Finn smashes it, killing Fight King and his power over the arena. Finn was faking being mind controlled. We saw Fight King’s sword magically alter Finn, so he must have just had the willpower to resist it. We’ll see another type of magic overcome Finn for real and cause him to act in a similar manner in Elements. The Gladiator Ghosts are a really tragic element of the story, so it’s nice to see them freed at the end, presumably going to a dead world. Missed opportunity to not have them cameo in “Together Again”. 

This one’s story isn’t anything special, but the Roman theming, backstory, and song elevates it up from just a solid entry to a really good one.

3. favorite lorelai love interest (besides luke)?

I like Digger! He's a breath of fresh air at that point in the series and I like that Lorelai gets a bit of escapist fun with him. He's set up as impossible long-term and just not a good fit for her and her world from the start, but they enjoy each other and have a fun brother-sister dynamic. Thinking of them having sex still makes me burst out laughing, though. Nooo sexual chemistry.

4. if you could go to one place in stars hollow, where would it be?

Hmm I've gotta say the boring popular answer - Luke's! I'm a restaurant nerd and love a good diner. You could soak up peak Stars Hollow vibes sitting by the windows and watching the fall leaves in the center of town and all the goings on. :')

22. favorite episode of ayitl?

This may be surprising because it seems like the general fan consensus is that Fall is the best and most beloved, but I think Winter is my favorite. Fall is gorgeous, has iconic Jess moments, redeems Emily's entire character for me, and of course the L/L of it all, but I hate the Life and Death Brigade steampunk-y nonsense so fucking much lmao. I fast forward that shit more often than I do Stars Hollow the musical tbqh. I will never forget SCREAMING when I heard the Across the Universe version of that Beatles song kick in for the first time... like, what in the world... ASP was really saying yes to her deepest, most embarrassing cringey theater kid impulses - as a fellow cringey theater kid, I'm allowed to say this!!! I know who we are.

Spring and Summer also get some cringey bad jokes and some sweaty writing (thanks, Dan - love to blame that guy), but I honestly think Winter is pretty perfect and have like no complaints about it? I already like AYITL more than like 99% of fans so I will cape for this one all day.

I treasure with all my heart seeing domestic, happily ever after Luke and Lorelai - combining their lives in their cozy house that finally feels like a mix of the two of them, date night at the Black, White and Read, Lorelai refilling salt shakers at the diner, walking Paul Anka around town together, and that scene in their bedroom with the DVR is one of my all-time favorite GG scenes.

PARIS!!! Her gay little haircut! Rory has keys to her house! Lorelai is one of the only mother figures she ever had! Paris and Doyle have always had big divorced couple energy and I think their whole thing is very funny. Having Paris own a fucking surrogacy/fertility clinic is truly the most hilarious possible outcome and I love it so much.

I like that L/L choose not to have more kids - I think my one nitpick is that I wish their conversation made it a bit more clear that the whole "not talking about kids" thing was clearly because neither of them really cared that much anymore because I'm so sick of fans taking it so seriously and acting like it's this huge tragedy and failure in their relationship.

They handle the Richard stuff sooo well and I love all the meaty emotional material Lorelai and Emily get together. It's so real and I love that they don't just act like everything is happily ever after with the Gilmores - they will always have tension and love and complicated feelings and fight and come back together and it's beautiful.

I love that Lorelai and Michel have become closer friends - just a cute detail!

The ending is just so adorably perfect - love the funny cliff hanger of Lorelai stuck in therapy with Emily and L/L walking off together in the snow to "Here You Come Again", specifically Dolly's version??? I could cry!!!

shipping nonsense when it comes to ship wars involving het ships vs same sex ships

I am going to be honest ship wars  happen in all fandoms its normal whats irritating is when hte ship war happens to involve a same sex ship vs het ship some people who ship the same sex ship will claim that you would ship my ship if it was a het ship. Which is rather baseless do you have any idea how many ship wars there are people choose to ship something that appeals to them etc.

It also makes a joke of real homophobia  by using it for shipping saying you are a homophobe if you dont ship my ship or if you criticize a canon same sex ship or say its forced.

They would say we shouldnt criticize the same sex ship or accept it just because there arent many canon same sex ships its ridiculous since I bet that if the het ship had became canon they would still criticize the het ship. it has been twice where I have seen a forced same sex ship become canon when it didnt have the buildup required

one was thrown in at the last 2 minutes of the finale

the other after giving one ship 5 seasons of teasing mutual attraction development and buildup while the other ship got nothing that hinted at romance all their moments were platonic

I find their attempts to claim its we should stop complaining about it because there are tons of het ships to be idiotic and projection

Rally against Cumberland Council gay book ban on Wednesday

LGBTQIA+ activist group Pride In Protest is holding a protest rally at 6pm on Wednesday outside Merrylands Administration Centre where Cumberland City councillors will be meeting for the first time since they voted to ban books depicting same-sex parented families.

The ban was put forward by councillor and former Cumberland City mayor Steve Christou after he alleged that parents were “distraught” upon seeing the book Same-Sex Parents by Holly Duhig in council run libraries.

“It’s time for the community to demonstrate that we do not accept the transphobic and homophobic rhetoric of extremist and bigoted groups like Christian Lives Matter (CLM), their ideas, and their cronies on the Council,” protest organisers said, ahead of the meeting.

“Books that depict rainbow families, or drag performers reading stories, are a normal part of life and not ‘indoctrination’ or ‘sexualising children.’

“This is a culture war imported from the United States which has nothing to do with the local community and the supposed ‘conservative and religious’ constituency that right-wing councillors claim to represent.

“LGBTQ+ community and families exist in all areas of NSW and deserve the same equal rights and treatment as any other section of any community.”

Protesters will be demanding that Cumberland City Council rescind the bans on books depicting same-sex parenting and drag queens reading story books in libraries.

They have also called for NSW Premier Chris Minns and NSW Labor to expel Labor councillors members who voted for Christou’s motion and for NSW Labor to pass Sydney MP Alex Greenwich’s Equality Bill in full.

Federal Labor Member for Sydney Tanya Plibersek has joined the condemnation of the council’s move to ban LGBTQIA+ age appropriate materials from libraries, telling QNews, “”Families come in all shapes and sizes.”

“It’s love that makes a family. Banning age appropriate books about rainbow families is hurtful and narrow minded nonsense.

“It doesn’t matter who you love. It doesn’t matter what your family looks like. In 2024, what matters is acceptance, love and kindness.”

Rainbow Labor also released a statement over the council’s actions, saying that the group, “unequivocally condemns the recent motion presented by Cumberland City Councillors to ban same-sex parenting books in Cumberland Council libraries.”

“Gay and lesbian families exist all throughout NSW. Censorship and book bans should not exist in any part of this country. Local government councils have a responsibility to promote diversity and inclusion in their libraries and provide access to this information to educate people.

“Public libraries should be a place where people can access diverse materials on a range of different ideas to help expand their understanding outside of their everyday experience.

“Introducing a ban of this nature sets a negative precedent for other local councils and actively promotes exclusion and discourages the acceptance of LGBTIQA+ families and community members.”

Cumberland City Council Labor mayor Lisa Lake voted against the book ban but a slim majority of councillors voted in favour of the motion.

The NSW Government is now considering pulling funding from the council’s libraries, and has warned that the council may be in violation of the state’s Anti-Discrimination act.

Protesters will meet outside the council meeting at 16 Memorial Ave, Merrylands NSW 2160, Australia at 6pm on Wednesday May 15.

Funeral Parade of Roses

This movie was very weird and unhinged, touching on subjects I never expected from 1969. It is a nonlinear film, the current events of the film being seemingly out of order, forcing the viewer to piece it together. In combination with the random behind-the-scenes interviews, I didn’t catch on to what was going on until about halfway through the film. I do find this very interesting. Out of all of the films I’ve seen this has probably piqued my curiosity of what all symbolism means, and what the hell was going through the director's brain while putting this all together. This is definitely an art-house film if I’ve ever seen one. 

I loved the subject of this film, focusing on a part of Japanese society I was not familiar with in the 1960s. Having seemingly regular gay people who are not exaggerated into harmful homophobic stereotypes was genuinely cool. Eddie is who we follow and she is indulging in this lifestyle. She puts makeup on, dresses up, works at a gay bar, and sleeps with men. She seems relatively happy besides the very jarring scenes that do appear every now and then. The first, that comes into mind is the uncomfortable sex scene which just cuts into some nonsensical stuff. It probably means something but I didn’t catch on. And there can be some uncomfortable scenes that don’t make much sense. And that’s the thing, most of the film feels like there is no real direction. The point isn’t really made clear until the end of the film. This blog post for this film is jumbled because the film was a jumble.

What I gathered as the actual story is that Eddie is sleeping with the owner of the gay bar, Gonda, who is with the Madame of the bar, Leda. This is information you gather as the film goes on as this situation is presented at the beginning of the film as Leda notices Gonda driving Eddie out. Leda will question Gonda’s love for her and be mean-spirited towards Eddie for the entirety of the film until she commits(not sure) suicide over the heartbreak. Eddie takes her role. 

It is presented multiple times that Eddie doesn’t know her father, all she has is a picture of her and her parents, her father’s face burnt away. She seems to not have a good relationship with her mother which is presented by the fact you never see her besides I think flashbacks (These scenes kinda just happen). First on is when Eddie claims that her mom doesn’t need dad because she has Eddie, her mom just laughs at her. And then a scene where Eddie feels lonely (I guess), she puts on lipstick and kisses herself in the mirror, and when her mom catches her, she beats Eddie. I believe Eddie was lonely and wanted to feel wanted by her mother, resulting in her apparently killing her mom and a random man she was sleeping with. My assumption is this is either some weird jealousy from Eddie or rage from neglect. It is clear now that Eddie is still living life fine now so I presumed this is in the past.

Why does this matter? It seems Eddie’s family situation comes to a head when she sleeps with Gonda again, and he checks this picture of Eddie and her parents. He then freaks out and kills himself. He is the father in this picture. That was wild. I’m not entirely sure of all the symbolism means and what most of this film is about but I’m always down to watch the story of gay people living life because more representation and exposure is cool.

Honestly, I forgot so many of S5 storylines since I think I’ve only watched this season twice. And when I do watch it it’s just the last couple episodes minus the finale. I mean I even forgot Ted’s makeover/plastic surgery storyline. So I was just as surprised as my brother was. That I don’t forget: He is hating Eli and Monty so much its funny and I already know he’s going to hate them even more. He also really can’t stand Ben and Michael this season.

And he kept mentioning throughout the episodes how bad Lindsay’s hair is. I wonder what he’s gonna think about Brian’s later on, he will obviously continue crushing on him but i wonder if he’ll have any feelings about it.

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one that wishes Emmett and Brian had more of a friendship/bromance. I love Ted and Brian so much but Em would be perfect with Brian. Especially since their personalities are so different. And yes, he really is gay for Gale/Brian, there were way more ‘he’s pretty/hot/wow look at him’ but i decided to skip them because it would be 16 parts long and half of it would be about Brian being pretty. I can’t wait for him to “meet” Gale and to see his realization about how dorky Gale is irl. I wonder how his crush will go from there.

AND YES! My mom did watch Queer Eye thinking it was this show. Dad still teases her about it because apparently she walked into the kitchen when she watched it and went ‘i thought (brothers name) said they fuck in here? So far it’s just clothes and avocado toast’ maybe i should tell her they did a QE storyline. My brother has watched it religiously since it came out (the new version) but he just never shared that with anyone. Which was weird to me since he shares everything else, that a normal person would keep to themselves, with literally anyone that he meets.

As for the meta post. I really, really, really hope that one day he goes insane about Brian like this. I just know he is thinking way too many thoughts about him. Our whole entire family has passed the video back and forth and the amount of family members that contacted me to ask what is he talking about is ridiculous. Even our mom thought the video was funny because of how he was pacing around and kept talking like he was on 6 different drugs.

Btw if you ever wondered, how many times is too many times to listen to Sandstorm in a row? The answer is 27 times. I had to threaten him to stop so what did he do? He left the house and went to the neighbor (i feel bad for her cause he just adopted her as an ally to his everyday nonsense) AND HE MADE HER PUT ON THE SONG because i can’t do shit about it. And all he did was sat on her yard and held a middle finger up towards my yard (we share a fence) while talking to the neighbor about Gale on Criminal Minds and how he thinks maybe he could show up in later episodes since he’s the ex husband. So once again: grown man for sale if anyone wants him.

What a joke, those high ideals. What absolute nonsense. The Toujou of now knows why he’s going to kill Sano; because Sano is the scum of the earth, and Toujou is as well, and the world will be better off when they’re both dead, side by side.

and tezushin post canon is just nice self-indulgent fluff of them falling in love all over again with a clean slate and getting to be happy together ;w; i started working on it last month and spent a while chipping away at it before switching to a different wip for now. it's surprisingly challenging to write simple straightforward relationship progression. here's a bit from the little stinger at the end :)

He knew Shinji was part of it, too. The gravity well of it pulled ponderously down around them both. In another moment, the aftermath of the dream would be gone, and Tezuka would not be able to chase it until next time. If Shinji was part of it, then didn’t Tezuka have a duty to both of them to find out the truth? To strip away the carpet, expose the trapdoor, and open it, and venture into its dark yawning maw, and tell him what lay under their house? Shinji’s arm tightened around Tezuka; he mumbled something incoherent in his sleep and resumed snoring. The faint patter of rain on the window was starting up again. Muffled through the ceiling, the upstairs neighbor’s cat had begun clamoring for breakfast; Shinji had been tasked with feeding her once during her owner’s vacation, and the neighbor had complimented his diligence, and told Tezuka what a lucky young man he was to have him. In a few hours Tezuka was going to head out and set up his little booth in the plaza, and Shinji would see him off with a kiss on the cheek and a homemade lunchbox, a skillset he’d been enthusiastically working on expanding lately… Then again, he’d gotten quite fond of the carpet. No need to pull it all up. Tezuka settled himself back into Shinji’s arms, closed his eyes, and went back to sleep.
