Green Witch Arc Appreciation Post

This is nothing new, but I'm obsessed with the shift that happens within Ciel and Sebastian's relationship at the end of the Green Witch Arc.

I always joke that the two of them are insufferably clingy after they are briefly separated between the time that Ciel recovers from his psychosis and during the climactic battle. However, I wanted to bring attention to the significance of this shift and why it is so important to their dynamic.

When Ciel is first inflicted by the mustard gas, he rejects all forms of physical touch outside of Finny. Perhaps most alarmingly, he rejects Sebastian's touch. Ciel's sensitivity to physical touch is nothing new either, since he continually displays his distaste for Sebastian's touch without his blatantly given consent.

Once Ciel recovers from his psychosis, and is later reunited with Sebastian we go from this:

It's honestly jarring to me how much they touch each other during these chapters, and how overtly possessive they are of one another. I might even argue that physical touch becomes one of their "love" languages, for lack of a better way of phrasing it. The two have always had a way of silent, covert signalling towards each other, as well as Sebastian's obvious acts of service. But their comfortability with touch seems to shift drastically after this arc, as if their relationship is moving from passive ocular desire to physical action that displays loyalty/trust/endearment/possession.

Anyway, TL;DR, I'm obsessed with them.

The Obey Me! Characters As Babysitters

(Let me know if I missed something/Added something incorrect.) — This is lazy, but also because I'm really sleepy right now. But I was able to finish it so, hope you like it.

Part II - Dateables version

The child would be scared of him. I mean, he does have that kind of strict look, but he does try to seem friendly. But the child just won't go near him. Though, he is absolutely (actually) really sweet and gentle with the child. The child just won't see it.

If he's not too prideful enough, he'll go to you and hug you from behind and ask you to help him.

He has some difficulties interacting with the child, he just waits for the child to get used to him around.

This guy... You have to scold him several times for him to stop stealing the child's toy and attempt selling it for grimm. He's supposed to look after the child too, but it's like he's also the child. So wherever you go, he needs to be with you to make sure he won't cause more troubles.

Him and the child doesn't get along that well. And he was about to snap when the child scolded him. Luckily, you were there to stop him from scaring the child.

You need to tell him stay for him to behave. And for some reason, the child seems very pleased to see him all pinned down the floor whimpering in pain. (But of course, that doesn't mean you don't give him an aftercare.)

At first he was really nervous. He always says "What if the child doesn't like me?" Or something like that, but you try to comfort him by kissing his cheek and he gets flustered but at least that kind of helped.

He brought a bunch of video games to play with, and not in his expectations, the child joined him. They both had a lot of fun and that made him happy.

The kid accidentally broke one of his games and he went to you crying, seeking for comfort. The child apologized though, hehehe.

Was flustered after the kid called you both his/her parents.

This man is actually super reliable. He gets along well with the child and it was adorable to watch. Just one thing, the child had a favourite cat plushie and Satan wants it. So you had to tell him that you'll buy him one just for him to give the plushie back.

He reads fairy tales for the child to sleep (and so he can finally have you all to himself) Ahem.

Just make sure the kid won't ask a lot of questions during his story telling. One thing for sure that Satan hates is being bothered while he's reading.

He's just too sweet. He's good at parenting and all but you just got to make sure that he doesn't put too much makeup on the child's face. But the child does have a great time with him and they both shared a wonderful bond.

Just like mentioned, he puts makeup on the child especially whenever he's bored. Sometimes, he'll also use you as his model.

He takes a bunch of pictures of you and him together with the child and post it on Devilgram.

Quite like Mammon. But, he takes the child's food and the child would cry. You tell him to give it back but he wouldn't. He can't. So you had to promise him that you'll buy him a bunch of foods on your way back home, in return, he has to give the food back to the child.

But sometimes, the kid cries for no reason and he has absolutely no idea what to do.

He's okay, but not too reliable. Would often need your assistance.

He doesn't help that much. He just fall asleep and the child would cry. You don't want to wake him up, but the child doesn't really want to play with you. The child prefers Belphie more than you which is ouch to know so you have no choice but to wake Belphie up.

Although, he was able to take care of the child too. The child loves him, but at the same time Belphie thinks it's such a hassle to take care of children.

In the end, you would find them both asleep. They both look adorable together, so you couldn't help but take at least one photo ♡

He would think: "Is it really hard babysitting? Is that what you felt when we hired you to become our babysitter?"

9. Have you made a simself? yep! once i saw that simstrouble hair i had to make myself! but i've only shared it to my good friend @oasivy!! maybe i'll show you all in the future.

10. What sim traits do you give yourself? lazy, foodie and hot-headed. nooo those are awful traits but it's true....ok if i had 5 traits then it's also clumsy and perfectionist!!

11. Which is your favorite EA hair color? i love all the blond hair swatches!!

12. Favorite EA hair? when i saw that outdoor retreat hair, the one wavy hair parted in the middle i used it on all my females! it was my favourite at the time, but now i only use cc hairs.

13. Favorite life stage? has to be YA. i always have lots of plans with them and get the most gameplay at that stage (as you can tell).

14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? definitely gameplay, but my building is slowly improving! i rarely go into cas unless it's to create a new sim for my legacy

How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? i was an on/off sims 4 player since 2015 and back then i was completely vanilla, then i found out about cc in 2018! only in 2022 i started using more skin details and gshade. but one thing's for sure, i have always been a legacy player!!

21. What’s your Origin ID? same as my simblr, but there's nothing on my gallery. i changed it bc it used my real first name and i upload sims for ppl to download on simblr, but ive not done that for a very long time.

22. Who’s your favorite CC creator? there are too many creators that i have downloaded everything of. i love everything from pralinesims!!

23. How long have you had a simblr? this simblr is almost a year old! i started posting on the 13th July 2022!

24. How do you edit your pictures? i completely rely on my personal gshade/lighting mods and don't really edit, i just sharpen on photopea or add the moodlet stuff when needed.

What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? when cottage living came out it was my absolute favourite!! i made all my families live there including nsb pink gen, gen 4 of another legacy and my 100 baby challenge! by the time i started my postcard legacy i played with too much cottage living so i decided to start on freegan.

26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? honestly it would be great if the sims team improves the older packs, i feel mostly everything from previous games have been included. but it was family gameplay i wanted before growing together was released.

Hello! What can you find here? (ANTHOLOGY)

My thoughts on Lennon/McCartney a.k.a. McLennon They surely loved each other (and they did write plenty of songs for each other; for example, Paul reacted to John's rejection with songs) We can see their affection on plenty of photos and videos On the other hand, their relationship was slightly toxic But what was going between them? I'm sure John was attracted and/or in love with Paul (check this qoute as well!). How does Paul feel about it?

He was and is lovely obsessed with John Anyway, I explained my take here briefly Deep dive: Maybe he reciprocated John's romantic feelings? (John tried to told us something about it) If so, that's nothing weird about it And nothing weird that Yoko felt discomfort What's interesting, Linda seemed to be okay with it

Domestic poly!Bruabba headcanons 🤐💓🔄

Just like Bruno and Abbacchio warm your heart, you're a fundamental part of their life, you're the sparkle, the missing piece that truly makes their relationship feel...Whole.

They love each other, but they're unable to picture an existence that you are not a part of. You truly respect, care and look out for one another, which is what makes your bond so strong.

Whether you're involved in the Mafia business or not, I believe you can guess that lazy time at home is often not a possibility. Abbacchio, and most of all Bucciarati, are extremely busy men. While you wish you could spend more time with them, you know that it's not their fault if they're forced to be away from an uncertain period of time.

Now, if you decide to be a full-time housewife, the two of them are 100% supportive of your decision, and they will actually be pretty happy about it. They make enough money to support all of you with no big problems, so not pursuing a career doesn't affect anything in the slightest.

Now, they will absolutely do anything in their power to make sure that house duties are equally shared, and that you don't end up taking care of cleaning, cooking and all of that stuff on your own.

If you do happen to be more often at home than them though, deciding to spend time maintaining the house might even be your own choice.

Whenever they're around though, they'll try to get to to take a break, saying that they will handle everything.

You can clearly see they're tired as hell (lol), it basically turns into a challenge on who can get the other to actually rest for a while.

It will most definitely end up with the three of you, exhausted, just laying in each other's arms while you try to get some sleep on the salon's couch, because you don't even have the energy to walk up to your shared bedroom.

If you DO decide to pursue a career, that's totally awesome too! Both of them are glad to see how you're not relying too much on their economical stability and looking for your own independence.

If you chose to become part of Passione...A bit of conflict may arise. Bruno is completely against it, and he doesn't want anyone, especially someone else whom he cares about deeply, to join such a corrupted world.

Abbacchio, on the other hand, would be more supporting. It is your life and you're free to do anything with it, although he will warn you multiple times of the dangers of being a mafia member.

The way the discussion ends, is determined solely by your own will.

Since all three of you would often be busy, you might hire a couple of cleaning women to take care of house duties, leaving you with more free time on those rare occasions when you get the chance to just relax at home.

However, while Abbacchio may take some time to purely relax, Bucciarati just can't sit still, and will be eager to prepare an home cooked meal for his two lovers as soon as he has the possibility to do so. He's an awesome cook, but the other man and you are constantly worried that he's overworking himself.

The two of you probably decide to help him out too. The image of all three of you doing your best to prepare a good meal for one another is a really pure one, albeit quite rare.

One of your favourite bonding time activity? Watching movies together! But not going to the cinema or such. You all just sit on the couch in the kitchen or living room, pick a movie together, and none of you is allowed to move an inch till it's over.

Leone likes Horror stories and thrillers, while Bruno prefers mystery stories. A dark, mystery film, perhaps even based on a real story, would be perfect. Of course, your tastes are also taken into account as much as theirs! Since they might be a bit different from those, one night maybe you just decide to watch something that only one of you likes, but that you end up enjoying anyway.

Also, if you have a tendency to neglect yourself even slightly, you can be sure as hell that they will drop anything, anyone, everything and everyone to make sure that you're properly taking care of your own person.

Bucciarati, to literally nobody's surprise, is the best when it comes to emotional and psychological support. He's awesome at noticing if you're more stressed than usual, and no matter how much you may hide it, he WILL find out about it. Even a slight variation in your body language or tone of voice in enough for him.

He'll sit you down, and won't let you go until all your doubts and worries have been pushed away, only then he'll go back to his job and other responsibilities.

The Albino, instead, will be more openly concerned about your physical appearance. I like to think that he would enjoy styling your hair or even just brushing it. It helps him to relax, and he knows that it's good for you, which makes it even better. He probably doesn't particularly like to have his hair touched though, so maybe ask before doing anything similar for him.

If you're a disorganized person...Lmao good luck, you're going to need it.

Both of them are extremely responsible, uptight and sometimes kinda rigid people. So please, try not to leave stuff around the house...Too much. They can handle it a little, 'cause they're used to the rest of the gang, but they'd like at least their home own to be tidy.

Now...Let's talk about children.

Bucciarati was born to be a parent, come on. He radiates caretaker energy no matter how you look at him. He'd definitely love to start his own family and adopt some children.

Your other partner...Is not as excited as he is regarding kids. He insists that they're just a nuisance, that he doesn't get why would have want to have any and that he already loves his family for the way it is.

Depending on your own opinion regarding the matter, the three of you will probably end up taking in AT LEAST one kid. Two or more is influenced by how much you care about this matter.

Bruno probably just found them in a garbage can or something (since men, let alone people in a poly relationship, cannot adopt children) and decided to keep them.

You and Abbacchio are going to deal with it, and all three of you will end up loving the kid and give them the best family they could have asked for.

As for the other members of the team...Boy it's ONE BIG MESS-

Okay okay, first of all.

Giorno is 100% supportive of your relationship. You don't have to explain absolutely anything to him, he could tell what was going on between you long before even YOU noticed, he just has this scary sixth sense.

So when you tell him about you three, he's not surprised, he simply smiles at you and tells you he believes you're doing what's best for you.

of course, he also has plenty of duties to attend to, but he makes sure to remind you that, if you were to need something, he always has your back.

Fugo is not particularly surprised either. He always knew how...Intimate, you guys were. He doesn't know much about the subject of polyamorous relationship, but he can clearly see that you are happy together.

He might ask you a couple of questions to make sure that he fully and well understood what is going on and how you feel, but after that, he simply views you in the same old light. He's glad you've happiness love in each other, and truly believes that you deserve it.

Mista is so chill about it it's almost scary. Of course you're happy that he's supportive of you and your partners, you're just not used to all this calmness. Bruno wasn't surprised though, I mean he's the guy who agreed to join his team in exchange for more bruschette lol.

He also probably teased the three of you even before you actually started a relationship, stuff like "Get a room already or something", so when you tell him about it he just can't stop smirking. Will still keep on lightly making fun of you guys because he can.

Trish is suuuuper happy for you! She can't put it into words! When you tell her about your love for each other, she has these huge proud smile on her face like "YES THEY FINALLY GOT TOGETHER LESS GO, HAPPY PARENTS HAPPY PARENTS"

She won't say it out loud like this, but this is pretty much what she's thinking.

She's incredibly happy you've found love and happiness in one another, and constantly reminds you that if you ever need anything, she's always ready to give some good relationship advices ;)

Also if you end up adopting a kid, she's definitely the best choice to leave the child with when you're all busy.

Lastly, Narancia...

I mean, it's not that he's not happy for you, he just...Doesn't get it at first. Like- he's always been told that only two people can love each other, that in a relationship there can't be three members.

Poor baby is confused, please sit him down and explain the situation, he'll genuinely do his best to understand. While Bruno (and maybe you, it depends) will probably be the one to handle 'the talk' the most, all three of you will be there. It's easier to follow if everyone who's interested is with him.

Once he DOES realise what is going on...He's over the moon! He will constantly apology for coming off as not supportive or rude, and will try to make up for it by threatening anyone who dares claiming that polyamorous love is not real.

Also, he's always seen you three as his not official parents, seeing that you're actually dating now makes him feel even more like he's found a new family.

The first thought that comes to mind when I think of Frankie is a lazy Sunday morning; Frankie with messy bed head and sharing just that point past too warm cuddles, tartan pyjama trousers and grey stretched-out-at-the-neck t-shirts.

One of my favourite things to think about with Frankie are those small instances when you realise how much he is coming to enjoy his post-military life and I know we talk about it a lot with his soft tummy (because that is the most beautiful image) but I also think about Frankie and sleeping.

Frankie who took years to break the cycle of military sleeping - the type of sleeping where he would lie on his back and not move until he woke at 6 on the dot every morning. He now, for better or for worse, sprawls out so much so you sometimes find yourself clinging to the edge of the bed while he sleeps through your nudges to his side when you try and get him to move over until midday every Sunday.

If you leave bed before he wakes his body automatically searches out for yours even in the deepest of sleep. Sometimes his hands catch you just in time, wrapping around your hand or your middle as he sleepily mumbles something about coming back to bed before bringing you back into his arms; his warm body wrapping around yours and lulling you back to sleep with him. If he doesn’t quite wake up in enough time before you tuck the covers back around him you watch as he rolls onto his tummy, his arms wrapping around the pillow he buries his face against the same way he does when he lies between your legs and rests his head on your chest.

He’s a picture of pure peace; the creases that are a permanent feature between his brows are gone, the corners of his mouth are slightly upturned into a contented expression, his curls wildly spread in a halo around his head. You try to keep the house quiet as he sleeps, even though you know he will most likely sleep through it until the sun is high in the sky, before he comes padding barefoot into the kitchen as you start on a very late breakfast.

His curls stick up in all angles at one side of his head and are pressed flat at the other from where he has laid against the pillow. The heel of one hand tiredly rubs his eyes as the other scratches along the waistband of his tartan pyjama trousers, the t-shirt lifting to give you a peek at his tummy. He walks straight up to you, a tired mumble about missing you in bed next to him as his arms wrap around you and he pulls you against his warm chest. You stay like that until you smell breakfast is almost finished and tilt your head up to Frankie, his lips pressing softly against yours and you can taste the mint from his toothpaste on your lips as you plate breakfast and he pours two cups of coffee.

These mornings are quiet as you share still sleepy smiles across the table while talking about your plans for the day; the fruit you want to pick up at the farmer’s market, the food you are going to bring to Will’s, whether you want to go back to bed for another thirty minutes as Frankie playful raises an eyebrow across at you. It’s the kind of mornings you and Frankie would talk about in letters shared while he was on-duty and the kind of thoughts that got Frankie through those months he was away from you; it’s the picture of peace that reminds you just how far Frankie has come since he first retired and makes you thankful for all the years to come.

he clings onto you like crazy in the mornings. jaehyun’s a heavy sleeper and likes to hug you on his side, so you’re always having trouble trying to pry him off of you in the morning

The Fred Laughon Doll Fangirl Post!

Hello again, doll friends!

I was HUGELY lazy last year. Whilst I was actually making little bits and pieces of doll clothing, as well as adding a few more friends to my collection- would you believe, I barely documented a thing? Can't have that - so, to kick off 2022 the right way, I'm going to write a little piece on one of my favourite things at the moment: wooden dolls.

If, like me, you loved Felicity of American Girl fame and the gorgeous little wooden dolls she and Elizabeth had in their sets :

then you might be interested in the lovely Fred T Laughon reproduction dolls, as shown above. If you're lucky enough to live near Richmond, Virginia - or in and around Colonial Williamsburg - then you may actually have seen some of them on display in the Mantuamaker's shop:

(I do love how in the above picture, they've clothed the doll in a blue gown; so it's almost a dead ringer for Felicity's!) They still have some of the smaller ones on display today, too, I believe - and they update the tiny shop with different accessories and outfits.

There's not much information out there on the Internet about Fred Laughon himself - which is a shame. What I've found comes from an article in the 2015 UFDC magazine, and an online obituary.

Frederick Laughon was a well-known local figure and retired preacher in Richmond, Virginia. He was also a talented cabinet maker in his retirement, and he was fascinated by the simple jointed wooden dolls of the 18th and 19th century. He began making reproductions of his own, and the quality and skill he put in meant they were very popular

The Laughon dolls were very much a family enterprise, throughout the 1980s and 90s. Fred would hand-carve the dolls, whilst his wife Helen and daughter Nel would make the outfits for them. They made a limited edition range of dolls (known as the "Charity" doll)for the 1994 UFDC convention:

They came with a sweet little story about a mother adopting a little orphan girl!

Sadly Fred died in 2002. But his legacy lives on, as his wooden dolls are still much sought after online for doll collections. And you can see why - the love and care put into the Laughon family doll creations absolutely shows.

the lady and gentleman above are a set of 2 dolls known as 'Mr and Mrs Tyler' - I do love the gorgeous little period hairstyles!

I'm lucky enough to own the taller 'Charity' Laughon doll, as well as the Mr and Mrs Tyler couple. I'll post some more on the ones in my own personal collection later on. But for now, just wanted to share how well-made and enjoyable the wooden Fred Laughon dolls are!

Haven’t done much writing lately so here have a little chunk of an Amberpricefield fic I’ve slowly been working on and hopefully one day will post lmao enjoy!

“Don’t leave me out of the loop,” Max implored once she remembered how to breathe and why they went off on this tangent in the first place. “Which picture is it?”

A sheepish glance implied both Chloe’s gratitude for the distraction and anticipation of her opinion, the latter Rachel hinted by tucking her hair behind her ear, placing the camera in Max’s expectant palm.

Ah. This was one of her favourites from today, too.

“Good choice,” she said. Not that there was a bad choice. She was happy they liked her photos at all.

“Obviously,” Rachel chimed with a proud smile that extinguished any evanescent worry, leaning forward to rest her chin on her woven fingers. “I do have an eye for photos. I was in a photography class once upon a time.”

“You’re also dating a photographer,” Chloe exclaimed with a snort, shifting to wrap a lanky arm around the back of her chair. “That might have something to do with it.”

“You might be onto something there, Price. You know what I think it is?”

“What?”

“That this photographer is super attractive.”

Max nearly dropped her camera, shaky hands gripping tighter at the staggering combination of Rachel’s catlike grin, Chloe’s approving laugh, and how both of them were staring at her despite conversing with each other.

“If you’re only noticing this now your supposed ‘eye for photos’ might be a little lazy.” Chloe nudged Rachel’s shoulder. “Should get that checked out.”

“The only thing I’ll be checking out is my photographer.”

And empty words weren’t satisfactory, Rachel would never let her off that easy, cementing them by peering up and down. Those eyes were playful yet kindled with a fire reminiscent of last night, leering hazel flames consuming every writhe and cry Max couldn’t suppress, and wowser she had to stop thinking about that or they’d have to leave.

Which... wouldn’t be terrible. But she was hungry. For actual food.

“Think I’ll partner you for this mission, Amber,” Chloe said, mirroring Rachel’s wandering gaze, only amplifying Max’s conundrum. “She hella checks us out enough. S’only fair.”

Max knew her cheeks were bright red and knew hiding behind her camera was pointless but did so anyway, mumbling, “You’re both ridiculous.”

“Ridiculously right.”

“Ridiculously yours,” Rachel specified, boasted, grin softening to a smile.

Max rolled her eyes despite the warmth blooming in her chest, despite the thrumming in her heart, because yes, they were hers, somehow they were hers, and she was theirs, she’d always be theirs, and this reinforcement of her feelings wreathing the miracle of simply bantering with her girlfriends in a nondescript restaurant far away from everything they knew would’ve been silly to anyone else but to her it meant everything, and to prevent being overwhelmed she let her vision focus on the picture that warmed her chest just as much.

Chloe’s nose and hands flattened against the glass, her wide eyes and beaming smile reflecting an ecstatic mask on the shark’s snout; helping the shark convey inaccessible emotions otherwise misunderstood. But Chloe understood, knew painfully well the callous restrictions of poor reputation, and the indistinguishable soulmates of land and sea bonded beyond the barrier. Chloe’s shoulder-length ombré locks blended with the iridescent water, navy roots fading to azure and cyan like foamy waves crashing on the shore; like her hair was an extension of the aquarium and the shark could swim into her, explore the open ocean, anywhere it wanted with her by its side.

A sentiment Max shared.

Chloe made her feel invincible, more than her time powers ever did. Inspired her to stand up for herself, break the rules, kiss the girl she loved, kiss the other girl she loved. Reminded her the world wasn’t limited to Blackwell, Arcadia, Seattle, any of these familiarities she’d clutched after finally preventing the tornado and clueless how to proceed. Although Captain Bluebeard and Long Max Silver’s ship slumbered in supposedly perpetual disarray their reunion repaired the vessel sturdier than ever, so badass and grandiose their childhood selves were shrieking atop their substitute swing set, and with the addition of Quartermaster Amber they weighed anchor, venturing wherever the wind guided their sails, no destination too far and no dream too big.

It would’ve unnerved Max before. The unknown. How could it not after endlessly reliving the same experiences? Even if she hated it, desperately hunted the path fleeing the nightmarish loop, ease entwined with commonality. She grew accustomed to the people, locations, research, even the danger; outcomes she could confidently mend, escape, destroy if necessary. But how could she prepare for something that hadn’t happened yet? That her powers hadn’t warned her about? How could she safely traverse the unknown?

But Chloe wasn’t unknown. She was something incomparable to Blackwell, Arcadia, Seattle, even their apartment in Los Angeles.

She was home.

Max’s beautiful, desirable, lovable home, one she should’ve sustained, and despised that for even one second, let alone five years, she allowed the furniture to fester and the foundation to fall; to become a decrepit shell of the vibrancy it once contained. She’d never permit this level of destruction, nothing even remotely close, ever again. Every squeaky floorboard, every peeling patch of paint, every cracked window, she’d be right there to fix it. And if her hands weren’t enough, if she was missing a tool or couldn’t wield one by herself, two more were equally committed to this priceless maintenance, and this devoted unification ensured the prosperous standing of her home once again.

ushijima sighed as he hung up his jacket, realising that this was one of those days were you won’t come scurrying to the front door to greet him with kisses and instead he had to hunt through in search of you. although, it wasn’t much of a hunt considering his gut instinct said you’d be in the study room and there you were, cuddled up by the bookshelf.

Season 4, Episode 17 - Larme Ultime (Rocketear)

So this is a DjiWifi episode from which comes a screenshot I've seen over a month ago (I think). It's good they got it, before season 4 started I really wanted it to happen and to see a kiss between Nino and Alya in it (but that didn't happen and I don't get why, only the main pairing is allowed to kiss in this show or what?), but now I could not be excited about it anymore, because I'm sick of Alya and I'm not able to hide it. Yes, I'm biased, but I'm just a normal viewer and I have right to dislike her favouritism.

My the biggest thought after watching this is that it looks like since Optigami, Alya is not only a deuteragonist, like I said in my post about Sentibubbler, she's actually more like a co-protagonist now. That was an extremely Alya-centric episode (even more than Lie was was about Adrien, as it was mostly Ladybug who saved the world like almost always, also because Chat sacrificed himself again), while in Optigami and this one she has screentime comparable to Marinette. I'm still trying to avoid spoilers (so please, don't tell what's going to happen in the next episodes, I don't want to know), but I'm sure that either 15 or 16 is also highly about her, because we've seen the new Rena's suit in this episode and it looked like it wasn't the first episode with it. But really, I won't be surprised if Alya has lots of screentime in both episodes and all others to the end of the show as well. I don't think Adrien is ever going to get as much special treatment like Alya. :/ The creators have never been as nice to him.

Didn't the writes have enough ideas for another story arcs? And thanks to it they were able to save money, because then creators could just reuse old models of villains more than before. Have anyone noticed that S4 has even fewer number of completely new characters than previous seasons? The scientist seen at the start of the episode has detailed model, so she had to be akumatised in any of the previous unreleased episodes (or one of the next ones). And why she looks a lot like Alya, is she her relative? If yes, you know what that means? Another excuse to make an episode full of the fox wielder, because, you know, it’s not like she already got enough occasions to shine in S4. 

Speaking of Rena Rouge's new suit. What a waste, it would be great for a potential chameleon Miraculous, so it seems it won't be ever created for canon. So bad, I think it's one of the coolest animal, so a Miraculous based on it would be awesome. It could one from an African Miracle Box which should appear, since they are planning making an African special. The suit is good and all, but I still feel disappointed that it's not the superpower of a chameleon Miraculous. :(

Why is Nino acting over the top out of nowhere? I like film noir atmosphere, fedoras and especially jazz music full of saxophones (my favourite music genre and instrument), but it looks totally ridiculous when he's like that. I thought it's Marinette's speciality, and he beat her in that category. I'm not trying to say it's a a bad thing, it just feels weird seeing Nino like that. And since I love jazz, I would like to listen to that film noir-esque music more once I got 5.1 audio, since it was hardly heard in the episode. It didn't sound much interesting, but it's too early to judge it seriously.

Too bad they had written the main conflict in the episode using one of the biggest romantic cliche - misunderstanding in which one character see and\or hear something, but not the whole thing, so said character interprets it wrong. Motifs like that are rather annoying, so it's good something similar haven't happened in the Love Square's arc (yet at least). Though I have a big issue with how they write it this season and I'm going to make a post about it (is anyone interested?).

The akuma is one the ugliest and has one of the most laziest power ever. Really? He shoots using tear bullets and does nothing more? I know many people hate Bubbler's design, but no matter how silly it looks, it was much more creative than this.

And of course the whole thing with Alya remembering the whole conversation with Chat Noir was extremely far-fetched. The could think about something more believable, but I'm not surprised it happened, since I think this season is generally more lazy written than previous ones.

On the other hand, I'm surprised that Marinette is actually aware that Shadow Moth should not know that Alya is still Rena Rouge. It seems that the whole episode 15 (or 16) is about they trying to figure out what to do with that problem.  I won't be surprised if Alya would do it all by herself like it happened with protecting charms in Mr Pigeon 72, because it's completely normal that a random person who has never met Fu is better at decrypting the grimoire than someone who has been trained to be a guardian to some extend :/ Still I think they should not be sure that camouflage mode would solve the problem completely. From what I understand the new suit doesn’t make her completely invisible to others. Rena could be seen by anyone who takes a photo of her and then post in on the internet (it won't be believable that she's the only one crazy about superheroes in Paris). But at least they tried to do something and Marinette sees the danger to some extend. It’s something new.

It's not like Alya is careful, she's completely reckless (and they think she's a good reporter material? Don't make me laugh) and she still thinks more about her own fun in being the superheroine than safety of herself or the world. But of course, it's not gonna happen, because plot armor is very strong in this show. I really had a feeling that she acted like a little child in the first minutes of the episode. She's unable to see that her situation is not a joke. She should be all happy that Marinette still lets her to keep the fox Miraculous. She really lacks humility and I see it clearly since Optigami at least. Besides, Marinette ignores another red flags, that Alya is taking pictures of herself in the new suit no one is supposed to see and thinking about posting them on Ladyblog (was Bunnix right that Alya is able to reveal Miraculous secrets on her blog because of her overenthusiasm and lack of ability of seeing consequences of her actions?).

By the way, now I think, if Alya can't keep in secret that she's still Rena Rouge from Nino (which happens because it's needed for the plot), so how could she be all fine with keeping in secret other facts like that Ladybug gave her the fox permanently and she knows her identity (which isn't happening because the plot doesn't require it)? She still has to lie on Nino because of these secrets.

They are making Marinette a big hypocrite this season. Since she revealed herself to Alya, it's been shown that secret identities rule was bullshit from the start, but Marinette is still saying that heroes can't reveal their identities to anyone. What? What has she done before like not revealing herself to someone, so how she dares keep saying about how crucial is keeping secrets from everyone? Sorry writers, I can't take that rule seriously anymore since Alya knows and no one should. Because Marinette told Alya, she could tell it to other persons she trust as well. What's the difference between her best friend and the rest of the people in the world? Is Alya the only person she trusts? In fact, revealing herself to Sabine, for example, would be much better choice. She's actually wise and mature unlike Alya and her secrets would be much more safe with her mother.

I've seen Chat Blanc again on TV recently and I remembered one thing Ladybug told to Bunnix there: "The best-kept secrets are the ones you never share." (Google Translate says that the line is exactly the same in the French original). Some episodes later, she isn't thinking twice if she should tell all the guardian secrets to Alya. Okay, she revealed her identity because of being too emotional in that exact moment, but then when she calmed down, she should be able to think if telling all the Miraculous secrets is a good idea. The other hypocritical thing is telling Chloé "you can't be Queen Bee anymore, because Hawk Moth knows your identity" but still calling the other heroes whose identities have been exposed.

So I can't even blame Alya for telling Nino the truth if the guardian herself is not following her own rules. Not to mention, Marinette doesn't address wrong things Alya is doing at all, so no wonder she feels she could do anything, she won't get punished, no matter what. After all, it's not the first moment in which she does something her best friend forbid her.

And we can say the show has been confirmed that Nino is even worse at keeping secrets, especially in crisis situations, so why people wanted to see Adrien revealing himself to Nino? It's obvious that he would tell Adrien's secret to Alya and maybe some other people as well.

I thought that since S3 finale Adrien is supposed to know identities of every backup hero from seasons 2 and 3 and I was ready to be salty about that as well. But yes, actually after purification of Miracle Queen's akuma, brainwashed heroes didn't detransform. They were forgotten completely and we don't even know what happened with them exactly. I suppose Ladybug took their Miraculous when Chat Noir wasn't there anymore.

Adrien has every right to be angry at Ladybug, she treats him so badly, since Alya knows her own secrets and she doesn't even have the guts to admit that. But I'm going to say about my the biggest issue in the Chat Noir and Ladybug's situation in another post, I hope I would write before the next episode airs.

these are gonna be little at first because i only want to be sharing the ones i truly deeply love; i will be editing this post as i go along. additionally these are like... basically all catradora as a general psa !!! i will be adding my own summary of the plot w/o spoilers (if i can help it), whether it's multi-chaptered or a one-shot & complete or ongoing, and my personal reaction to it !! if you didn't notice i adore au fics more than anything note: i'm posting this w/o having completed it because i just want to get it out rn, but i've read much more & these r definitely not the only ones i'd recommend !!! i just have to sort through my history to find the fics i actually read and adored and i don't have all the time to do that all the time rn :) before season 1 in-canon timing (season 1-5) the blood in your mouth written by artemiswords - alternative season five & beyond - written before season five was aired. catradora aren't automatically together - happy ending though! - multi-chaptered, complete - this was the first multi-chaptered fic i've read since like. fanfiction.net days & it got me into multi-chaptered fics because it's just so good. honestly the author's mind >>>> i keep sitting here waiting for something (but i know nothing will happen) written by nymphofbooks. - conversation between catra and adora after the events at the battle of bright moon. they talk about some things and reach a little bit of a mutual understanding - oneshot, complete - not actually one of my favs but self-promo ha. the first of my upcoming one-shots, mostly dialogue & i am a bit rusty on it. hiraeth written by erce3 - mara and angella find each other in the portal, and together they make the eternal loneliness a little less bad. - oneshot, complete - wasn't exactly sure where to put this because technically it's both before, during, and after canon... anyway this literally made me cry & it is very beautiful :( sad face bc it made me sad :( but it's beautiful! after season 5 alternate universe as long as we stay together (if we just stay together) written by herothehardway - astrophysicists in antarctica au. catra & adora are lab partners but aren't allowed to interact outside of the lab due to extenuating circumstances. they used to be roommates (and there's tons of flashbacks) and maybe they'll become something more than lab partners, despite the rules. also, hockey!catradora - multi-chaptered, complete - god, this fiction is incredible. it's clear the author knows a lot about the subject & spent a lot of time on it & it's just great. nsfw scenes though so read w discretion!! anyway this is one of my all-time favourites & i've loved herothehardway's writing ever since. seriously, the way they incorporate the show details... yes more grown up and a better daughter written by herothehardway - multi-chaptered regency catradora au. adora's family is on the brink of financial ruin, and she has to marry someone rich. she is presented to society & on the day of her coming out ball she meets catra, an old childhood friend who mysteriously disappeared without any notice. turns out catra is pretty rich... - multi-chaptered, ongoing - very neat, definitely recommend. again, herothehardway shows they're engaged in the situations of their characters & take a lot of time on accuracy which we stan (and i don't really do myself because i am lazy) the place where we fall written by herothehardway - oneshot wizard catradora au. adora and catra were apprentices to shadow weaver & shadow weaver cursed them before they died to make sure they dueled each other every year until one of them is dead. this is the fifth year - oneshot, complete - HELP IS IT OBVIOUS I ENJOY HEROTHEHARDWAY'S WRITING??? okay i swear this is the last one rn !!! i love it & the vibes & it's generally gorgeous 10/10 recommend :) baby, i'm a house on fire (and i wanna keep burning) written by wittchers. - arranged marriage au between catra and adora, set after the horde win over bright moon. slow burn & neither of them wants it. - oneshot,
