Companions favorite Disney movie?

A/N: Howdy, howdy, folks! I know it's been a while, but I hope y'all enjoy these! 🥰💙💛 I've been extremely busy and have sort of lost motivation for this fandom, but I'm going to try to play Fo4 soon and see if I can muster up some more motivation 😊 I still have some fanfic to write and some reactions to do and I've got to get my butt in gear!

Cait - Brave. It might seem like the obvious choice because, well... ginger twinsies.... But she loves it because of the constant action and the fact that Merida wields a sword and a bow while also riding a horse often at the same time. She also secretly sort of finds herself vicariously living through Merida and wishing she would have had a family like hers with parents that actually loved her.

Curie - Inside Out. It's sciency and presents a fun, creative way of examining the brain's functions. She would prefer that Disney be more realistic, but despite her slight disappointment, she also understands that it has to be presented in a child-friendly way that would keep a kid's attention. A close second for her would be Big Hero 6. Honey Lemon is her hero.

Piper - Zootopia. She finds herself very much relating to Judy Hopps most days. Just a girl in a big city and a big world with the chips stacked against her and hardly anyone on her side as she fights the good fight. She also enjoys Judy's optimistic, sarcastic, energetic spirit that she upkeeps in the face of adversity. It's something that Piper herself has done her best to maintain.

MacCready - Finding Nemo. As a concerned dad with a struggling young son of his own, he can relate to this movie greatly. Plus, a bonus is that he likes to mess with F!Sole about being Dory, which she never seems to appreciate nearly as much as he does most days.

Deacon - The Emperor's New Groove. All of the jokes and the lightheartedness of the overall movie is totally Deacon's style. He always quotes the movie afterward and drives everyone at HQ crazy with his rather awful impression of Yzma.

Codsworth - Flubber. He sort of is crushing on Weebo the robot assistant. Granted, he says he has no sort of manner in which to facilitate such feelings since he is not programmed to feel things like that, but he raves over her enough that everyone can see he clearly has some manner of feelings.

Hancock - A Bug's Life. He doesn't really know why, but it cracks him up every time he turns it on. Of course, he's usually high when he's watched it, but that's not the important part. The important thing is that it's anti-grasshoppers and after the stuff he saw at Nuka-World, that suits him just fine.

Danse - Toy Story. He would rather die than admit it, but he likes the movie for the odd reason that he heavily relates to the spaceman. His perspective on life and his soldier-like dedication to his mission is truly outstanding. He also strangely relates to him in many ways, but he's not quite sure why.

Preston - Brother Bear. He enjoys the deep feelings and meaning behind the film. It's such an underrated yet good film and it has a really great sound track as well. He also has a strange affinity for Toy Story because of Woody and his steady dependability.

Valentine - Old Yeller. It's traditional and it has that sense of old-timey living that Nick can appreciate. He also enjoys the deep emotional quality of the film and the fact that it's about a good, loyal, brave dog. Kind of like Dogmeat.

X6-88 - Maleficent. He enjoys her sense of humor and her sense of taking care of business and revenge when people do her wrong. However, his favorite non-Disney movie is The Matrix. He firmly believes the coursers' design is based on Morpheus and he secretly thinks he looks like him most out of the courser models.

Dogmeat - The Fox and the Hound. He loves nothing more than to howl along with the dog on there. Finally a movie that actually has a character that speaks his language! The dog also actually successfully befriends other animals in a way that Dogmeat never seems to do too well since they're always trying to stomp on him or kill him. He also is a fan of Bolt.

Strong - Monster's Inc. Firstly, Strong doesn't like movies. They're confusing and make no sense because what do you mean those things are not really there? They're standing right in front of him! But he likes Monster's Inc more than most because Mike Wazowski looks like a super-mutant. An ugly, one-eyed freak super-mutant, but nevertheless one of his kind.

Proctor Ingram

That kind of tech is dubious to have in the brotherhood but she doesn’t report you out of a spiteful comradery. She had her legs crushed so who was she to deny people prosthetics. But she wouldn’t ask for leg replacements, again it is dubious technology to have. If you have these enhancements she will not tell another soul about them, because she’s pretty sure the reason you haven’t been reported is because the others don’t know. If you work for her she will always have you around to help her.

Nick

The reason he’s falling apart is because he knows next to nothing about mechanics so he’ll ask for your expertise after you’ve become friends. He’ll pay you of course. To be frank it takes a lot of worry from him knowing his hand won’t fall off. Further down the line he’ll ask if you could replace his skin.

Hancock

He thinks it’s cool and that’s where his opinion starts and ends. He starts thinking any more about it he’ll lose his mind because he doesn’t understand it in the slightest. If you have these implants he is going to stare at it and find every excuse to touch it.

MacCready

There is a part of him that thinks it’s weird and creepy. There’s a bigger part of him that thinks it’s super fucking cool. His comic book brain lights up and all his boyish dreams come to life in front of him. He never tells you that and tries to hide it but it is a bit obvious.

Danse

His views on technology after he left the Brotherhood had been muddled. All he knew was he knew less than nothing. Not being with the Institute was enough for him to look at what you do with an open mind. If you prove to be skilled enough he’ll ask if you could take a look at him, seeing as he’s a synth and everything.

X6-88

At first he considers you a huge asset to the Institute. After he trusts himself with you. He can hardly check himself and you have proven yourself to be trustful. In the regard I would advise you to be kind, the way they treated him in the Institute was borderline or sometimes overt torture.

Codsworth

He’s upset about your tools. Before the war you had much more at your disposal and you’d helped a lot of people but now you are severely limited. The indignity! But don’t worry he’ll go out and search for more and maintain the ones you have.

Deacon

As much as he jokes about it, it is something that makes him count his lucky stars you’re on their side. If you have some that have blades or something that thought increases tenfold. When you become friends that nervous caution dies down. His fear never really was about the tech.

Cait

This is only a good thing to her. You are strong as hell, have built in weapons, and you can replace blown off bits. What more could she want? Honestly, down the line she’ll ask if you’re willing to do it to her, but that’s far down the line.

Curie

She’s gonna have a work crush on you, just a fact. The need to expand her knowledge will have her working with you in the clinic, the combination of medicine and engineering makes everything better with you two. If you have them she’ll help you maintain it.

Piper

Her curiosity beats her disdain for the Institute. When she hears you denounce them she calms down. She does think it’s unnatural but who is she to agree about something she doesn’t fully understand. In fact she’ll allow you to put an ad in her paper if you ask.

Preston

He loves it. It helps people, it looks cool, and it’s mostly ethical under your command. If you weren’t the Sole Survivor he’d ask you to stay in his settlement, hell, he even offers to help you open a clinic or share it with Curie.

Dogmeat

Get an implant that throws a ball. Do it.

Fallout 4 --

Danse: 

     Danse would feel absolutely horrible. After the initial flush on his cheeks at the mention of sex, his expression would turn to one of devastation. There honestly wouldn't be any sense of satisfaction whatsoever at having hurt you, and he would internally berate himself for not being as attentive to you, and as aware of your reactions as he should've been. That day he would tell you to take it easy and he would be at your constant beck and call in an attempt to make it up to you. He would spend all day beside you, working on cleaning and repairing your weapons and armor, engaging in idle conversation, and maybe listening to the radio. The next time you two are intimate he will be exceedingly gentle with you, and will take extra care to ensure you are more prepared for him before really getting into it.  

Deacon: 

     He would feel really bad to have hurt you enough to impact you like this, but also he would feel just a small twinge of satisfaction at having been able to do so. He'll do his best to take care of you after you tell him about it though, spending the whole day with you in bed, just chatting away, playing little games with you, like “two truths, one lie” or 20 questions and the like. When the time does come for you two to be intimate again, he'll have you take the lead a few times in a row to get an idea of your preferred pacing so he can replicate it better and hopefully not hurt you in the future. But, and he's not particularly proud of this, he will ask your permission to tell some of the others back at HQ what had happened. (He just really just wants to see the look on Carrington’s face, and prove a certain something to Glory about his anatomy. But, of course, he wouldn’t use your name if you didn't want him to. Discretion is this man’s forte, after all).

 Hancock: 

     Is it still considered aftercare if it happens the day after you've had sex? Well, whatever it’s called, Hancock would do all that he can to make up for how he had made you feel. He should know better after all by now, he would feel horrible and try to think back to the way you had reacted to some of his movements in an effort to pinpoint what exactly had hurt you so he could make sure to never do it again. If you wanted chems to numb the pain, he'll surely offer them, and besides that, he'll spend the whole day just looking after you. Holding you close, telling you jokes and stories, making you food, maybe giving you a message, just anything to make you feel better. And when you two are intimate again, he'll be sure to make it up to you. Big time.

 MacCready:

     Initially, he might feel a distinct sense of pride at having rendered you immobile with his vicious love, but once his brain wraps around the fact that you're actually in pain, he'll feel pretty bad. Maybe not as bad as he should, which he tries to hide, but it's pretty obvious given his little grin he has plastered on his face all day. But he’ll be sure to take good care of you, grabbing snacks and refreshments before curling up next to you with a couple of comic books, really just taking full advantage of the day off. From now on, when the two of you do have sex, he will try to prevent this from happening again by having you be in control for the most part, at least until he learns your body and its limits a bit better. He still might not completely ease up, but he’ll at least make it seem like he’s not as proud of what he’d done as he actually happens to be. And just a heads up, he may just bring up the fact that he was the one who “loved you so hard that you couldn’t walk” at every given opportunity, so just be aware of that.

Nick: 

     The poor old detective would feel dreadful, this was part of the reason he'd been hesitant to engage in physical acts of intimacy with you in the first place. Even if you assured him it was nothing more than some temporary soreness, he'd have trouble rationalizing being with you intimately for a little while. He would also take an easy day himself so he could keep an eye on you and get you whatever you might need. When you did manage to convince him that you would be okay to have sex again, he would be overly tender and gentle, just to make sure that you know how much your well-being means to him, and to assure you that he would never repeat the actions that had ended up hurting you ever again. As far as he was concerned, he wanted you to wake up feeling good after being with him, to feel satisfied and giddy and maybe just a little tired, but certainly not in pain. 

Preston: 

     Oh lordy, good luck trying to get him to touch you again after he finds out that he hurt you. Initially, his brain would send a little spark of pride to the forefront of his mind when you first told him, but his conscious self would instantly shut it down, disgusted by the fact that it was present at all. He would insist you take the whole day off and would try to keep up on his work while also looking after you in every way possible. You'll really have to work to get him to be with you intimately again anytime soon, as he'll be quite worried about you, and once you do manage to convince him, he'll be extraordinarily gentle and slow. He's very sweet, but you'll have to be patient with him as he pauses with every heavy breath you release, or gasp you take, or moan you utter. Even good noises are scary for him, but don't worry, he'll get back to his usual pace eventually, and now be extra aware of your every reaction to him; which, as it turns out, can be quite handy. 

X6-88: 

     The courser will be conflicted. On the one hand, you were aware that X6’s lovemaking is rough, you've known that from the start, so the two of you wouldn’t be unused to scenarios like this occurring. However, for it to have escalated to physically impairing you enough to prevent you from walking… that made him feel an ache of regret in his chest. Luckily, X6 doesn't miss a thing, and likely will recall which aspects of the night had led to this specific outcome, and he would try to eliminate those factors from future interactions. As for now, he will ensure that you are safe, and as comfortable as possible; he will guard you as you take the day to rest, and will fetch you anything that you require. Normally, when you were hurt, he would recommend paying a visit to the Institute medical facility, but in this case… he would rather try and help you himself if it comes to it. You’re not entirely sure if it’s because he’s embarrassed, or just possessive over certain areas of your body now, but you’d say his crimson cheeks were a bit of a giveaway.  

Fallout 3 --

Butch: 

     On the outside, he would be the prime example of the sympathetic boyfriend. He would apologize and spend the day cuddling with you, playing with your hair, eating snack cakes and drinking nuka cola. On the inside, however, he would feel a certain sense of fulfillment, and would have to consciously hold back the wicked grin that threatened to spill onto his lips at the thought of his lovemaking being wild enough to make it so that you couldn’t walk. He certainly wouldn’t actively try to do it again, but he also wouldn’t necessarily try to prevent it from happening, so just be prepared for anything. But whether or not he’s successful in making you sore again, he’ll fully dedicate himself to caring for you afterwards, ensuring that you’re comfortable and content in his arms at the end of each night. 

Charon:

     The ghoul can’t say he’s surprised, he did warn you that this might happen, after all. His previous sexual experiences have all been initiated by past employers, so most of them have ranged from pretty negative ordeals to downright violent encounters, and though he'll try to leave that in the past, it's tough for him to let go of it completely since it’s really all he knows. That being said, he will still feel bad about hurting you, and will really try to take more care the next time the two of you are intimate. You'll have to work together on communication and focus more on foreplay in the future, but Charon aims to please, and would never purposefully try to hurt you (unless, of course, if you told him you were into it ;). 

Jericho:

     He’ll honestly just grin nice and big when you tell him. Sorry. If you wanted tenderness and sympathy, you should probably look into being with someone else. Jericho would consider this to be an achievement on his part, and assure you that this was a sign that the two of you had really done it right. He might complain a bit about having to stay in for the day, but that doesn't mean he won't still take care of you, in his own sort of way. He'll offer you a drink (or a few), or a cigarette (or a whole pack), and would probably just end up falling back into bed next to you and taking a nice, long nap at your side. He wouldn't really promise to change anything the next time the two of you have sex, but he might try to reassure you that it will get easier with more "practice."

Fallout New Vegas --

Arcade:

     Oh, he would definitely laugh, because it's a joke. Obviously you're joking with him… right? No!? But-- how? He would be confused by this, and too busy thinking through what he possibly could have done to make you physically unable to walk, to actually address the issue. Once he snaps out of it, he'll ask if you're okay and try to keep his snarky and sarcastic quips to a minimum for the day. As much as Arcade loves giving you a hard time in general, this time he'd be too embarrassed to bring it up. In the event that you do mention it, you'd best be prepared for the pink hue that would adorn, not just his cheeks, nor even his face, but his entire body. When the two of you do have sex again, Arcade will be happy to let you take the lead so you can better control the pacing and keep from hurting yourself at all, (which really is just a win-win scenario, considering the fact that he really prefers you being in control anyway.)

Boone:

     His brows would furrow at the news, barely noticeable through his sunglasses, but he would simply set down his rifle and bag and settle back into bed with you. The ex-soldier would curl his arms around you and stay beside you for the remainder of the day, rubbing his arms along your body comfortingly. He’s not big on small talk, but Boone would love to just sit and listen to you ramble all day long. When the evening comes, he’ll be sure to get up and make you both dinner before encouraging you to go to sleep early. Despite his stoic exterior, he's actually quite the tender caretaker. The next time you two are intimate together, he'll consciously focus on being more gentle and controlled with his movements, and certainly won't be shy in making sure you're properly "prepared" for him when he does get a little more rough. 

Raul:

     Aw, the poor old ghoul would feel horrible about hurting you, the ridge above his eyes would crinkle upwards as he flashed you a sympathetic smile. He'd be a little embarrassed about it as well, feeling like it was rude of him to let his self-control slip enough to have ended up hurting you. He'd take care of you for the day, taking the opportunity to tidy up your living space as he chats with you about anything and everything, telling you stories of his life from before the bombs dropped, teaching you some words in Spanish, and telling cheesy jokes to make you laugh. He would give you a bit of time to recover before agreeing to sleeping with you again, and this time he would suggest either you taking the lead, or using a safe word in case his control started slipping again.

Could you do an opposite of the Amazonian Fo4 react? Like, the companions reacting to a small, spry Sole who is beyond clever and almost goblin or imp-like, trading in brawn for mischievous brains.

MacCready:

“You’re so tiny! Oh my God!” [laughs] “Okay, okay. But surely you’re good at fighting anyway? Couldn’t have made it this far if you weren’t.”

Hancock:

“Us short folk are a hell of a lot deadlier, huh?”

Cait:

“If I didn’t get’ta witness ‘ye fightin’ first hand, I wouldn’t believe yer even capable jus’ by the looks of ‘ye.”

Piper:

“You think I could get another interview sometime, Blue? I didn’t want to be rude at first, of course, because your situation was much more important than your amazing look. But after seeing you fight out there, heh, you really are something.”

Nick:

“My savior. While I was expecting someone a bit different to come stomping in here, I am not at all disappointed seeing you how you are, kid.”

Preston:

“Man I don’t know who you are, but your timing’s impeccable.™”

Danse:

“Civilian, this area is infested with ferals. While I’ve that you have clever tactics in battle, I am sure it will be far too dangerous for you if things get anymore hectic.”

Maxson:

“Danse spoke very highly of you, so I will not let my judgement get the best of me. As you were, Solider.”

Curie:

“Madame/monsieur, you are quite clever!”

Deacon:

“Yeah, I’m gonna like you. I can already tell.”

Desdemona:

“No wonder Deacon likes you, you act just like him.”

Glory:

“You sure you want to be a heavy? You act too much like Deacon for my liking, one is enough.”

Tinker Tom:

“I trust you! I really do. There’s no way the Institute could make someone like you, right? You are really nifty, so it could still be a possibility… hm.”

Magnolia:

“Well, you are just out of the ordinary, honey. It’s quite refreshing for a change.”

Sturges:

“I had a plan with power armor, but uh… are ya able to get in it? Ah, you probably won’t even need it. Clearly ya can handle yourself in other ways.”

X6-88:

“Interesting… Father altered the DNA in the synths to not resemble yours in him. His reasoning? Perhaps you were just too unique for his liking.”

Gage:

“Hell, I thought you’d be at least normal height. Good thing you were able to take down Colter. Those jokers would’ve had my head by now if ya didn’t.”

Mason:

“This some kind of joke? You’re the new Overboss?”

Mags Black:

“Gage has a lot of explaining to do…”

Nisha:

“I hope what they say about you small people being more violent is true, because if it’s not, Gage and yourself will have to answer for it.”

William Black:

“Gotta say, I did not see this one coming. But hey, you won the title of Overboss fair… apparently.”

Reaction: Having sex with the companions

Cait

At first, Cait would be an absolute animal in bed. No shame, no holding back, just raw, animalistic sex, and the more worn out you were after the deed, the more satisfied she was. Almost like she had something to prove. And she realized quite soon that that was indeed the case. Not that you had put expectations on her, but she had a reputation and though she trusted you enough to be open to you and even let you help with her drug problem, there were times when she - subconsciously - would slip back into her old defense mechanisms. Depending on how close you two were the first time you had sex, it might take quite some time or not at all for Cait to open up to you about all of this and tell you that she’d be down to take things slower if you want to do that. Wanting to make her feel loved, you of course take her up on that offer and the first time you two took things slow in bed was for the both of you probably the best sex you ever had. Though she wouldn’t likely want to admit that, and keep these moments of slow love making for special occasions. 

Curie

Curie would be pretty much down for anything as her curiosity almost always got the best of her. That same curiosity would make things awkward sometimes though as she’d ask very non sexy questions during the deed or explain the more biological processes that went on in your bodies while you were just trying to make her feel good… Overall, sex with Curie would include a lot of experimenting and getting to know each other’s bodies from head to toe.

Danse

Danse would be quite new to the concept. Him being a man of protocol, not personal relationships, made the whole thing quite nervewrecking for him. But soon he would lose himself in how good it felt, how good you felt. He’d love to be close to you, holding you or burying his face in your neck, but always making sure to be gentle with you throughout the whole experience. If the events of blind betrayal had already taken place, it would take Danse a lot longer to get to this stage. No matter how much you reassured him that you loved him no matter what, there’d always be this little voice in the back of his head reminding him that you deserved so much better than someone… something like him. He wouldn’t say no to you if you wanted sex, in fact he’s probably do everything you wanted him to, because being as flawed as he was, the least he could do was obey your every wish and command. Sex would revolve completely around you, with Danse almost forgetting to enjoy himself whilst busy making you feel good. If your relationship kept going strong however and you kept reassuring him of how much you loved him he would eventually try to push his insecurity and doubt away and Danse would start behaving like I described in the beginning of this reaction.

Deacon

Deacon isn’t the kind of guy to mindlessly have sex with people ever since Barbara died. The few times he had were always mere days before a facial reconstruction surgery, so he’d never have to actually “face” the people he’d share a bed with. So it can be safe to assume that if you’ve reached the point in your relationship where Deacon is willing to have sex with you, he already trusts you 100%. Deacon will be rather careful the first few times you two have sex. He’d want to make you feel good, as it had been a while since he has cared about the pleasure of the person he shared a bed with, never mind his own pleasure. So the first few times would be all about you. Only after you’d both discover each other’s turn ons, kinks and/or sensitive spots would Deacon try some light teasing. If you’d react positively to it, the teasing would get worse over time, until eventually pushing your boundaries would become almost routine during sex. He didn’t mind you doing the same to him, though if he could choose, he’d definitely prefer to be in control. 

Hancock

With Hancock it’s neither trust nor experience that’s the problem. He has enough experience to last him a lifetime (or two), and if you say you love him, he wholeheartedly believes you. What was holding him back however was his low self esteem. Sure you said you loved him, but you’d never seen him naked before. Did you know what a ghoul’s body looked like? Probably not and whatever you were imagining, it probably wouldn’t be nearly as pretty. He’d ask you a few times whether you were 100% sure you wanted this and if you insisted that you were, he’d end up fulfilling your wish. If he noticed that you weren’t grossed out by his body he’d become more confident and sex would become a much more frequent occurrence. Hancock would be open for trying literally anything you wanted, but he’d never push his own kinks onto you (sure he’d talk dirty to you and tease you occasionally, but he would never ask if he can blindfold or tie you up for example, though he’d never refuse it if you suggested it). 

MacCready

Sex with MacCready would be unpredictable. He’s open to trying a lot of things, he has no preferable position or location, and on top of that, he’s still really young so his need for sex would pop up in the most random of situations. If you’d have a particularly weird or uncommon kink, he’d might take some convincing before he’d be down to try it, and most of the time he’d take most pleasure just doing things vanilla. 

Nick

Doesn’t take you seriously at all. He thinks you’re either joking or completely out of your mind the first few times you tell him you’re down to have sex with him. He doesn’t think your humor is great, but he’ll just brush off whatever you said without going in on that. It’ll go so far that you actually get upset with him about his dismissive demeanor that you just straight up ask him: “What is so wrong with me that you don’t want to have sex with me?” This is the moment Nick actually realizes that you’ve been serious all along and he wouldn’t believe what he just heard you say. “Wait a minute, do you honestly think you’re the problem? Have you seen me? All this skin and metal is just going to make this unpleasant for you.” You’d remind him that if you’d have a problem with any of that you would have never gotten together with him in the first place and for the first time in a quite a long time, Nick felt incredibly stupid for not figuring that out himself. Though still not convinced that you’d actually enjoy it, the sex would be slow and careful and it wouldn’t happen all that often. 

Piper

Piper is not one for one night stands and random flings. If you two were to have sex, you’d already be in a relationship. That’s really the only requirement for her. Once you two are together and she trusts you, the sex could be as slow and soft or wild and crazy as you’d both see fit. She’d be down for it. Weird kinks? “Um, okay, hadn’t seen that one coming, Blue, but hey don’t knock it before you try it I guess.” New position? “Let’s hope I’m flexible enough for this…”. Different location? Okay, here she might draw the line. Public sex would really depend on the location, the more risk of getting caught the less likely Piper would give the ok sign. After all, sex was still a private thing and she didn’t want anyone walking in on you two. 

Preston

Sex with Preston would be pretty vanilla. This boy isn’t into anything weird or extreme, and not much into dom/sub play either. Things would rarely get wild inside the bedroom as he’d see sex more of an act of showing how much he loves and cares for you. (Sorry this one bad, I really don’t like Preston rip.)

The concept of relationships is foreign to him and before you openly ask him to have sex with you, he’d never even thought about it. He’d say yes very casually, because he doesn’t understand that sex for couples can be a very special moment. Even if you tell him that it is something couples do when they love each other, he wouldn’t put much mind to it. You love him, he loves you, great, let’s have sex then. Though he’d definitely understand way better why people like having sex so much after actually doing it, he might never grasp the emotional bond that can form when two people who love each other have sex. 

Bonus! Maxson

As elder, Maxson is used to showing dominance, ordering people around and demanding respect. At first, he’d take these things with him into the bedroom, because sex puts you in an vulnerable position and he was not vulnerable. No matter how much he trusted you, there was this irrational little voice in the back of his head that stopped him from letting down his walls. At least, that was what he was like at first. It would take him some time, maybe even a very long time, maybe it would actually take so long that you’d have to be the one suggesting it instead, but he’d finally be down to trying to take things slow. Keep in mind, this would only happen if he trusts you 100% and knows for certain that you haven’t breathed a word to anyone about how Maxson is in your relationship. He’d end up enjoying taking things slow a lot, but one night really changed everything. This one night was the one when you decided to take control. It was the first time in a very long time that Maxson let someone else do the work, where he could just lie back and enjoy being submissive, and enjoy it he did. But boy had you done something now. Maxson would always come to you after having a particularly stressful day and let you take control, to the point where him being dominant in bed would almost be a rare treat.

I was wondering if you could write Fallout 4 reactions to a Sole that is BOUND AND DETERMINED to clean and fix up every single road she encounters - clearing up debris, chopping up fallen trees for resources, making bridges, filling in large cracks in the tarmac with cement until a better solution comes along, making signs and setting up better lighting/security points with Minutemen guards. This is basically me with mods and console commands, lol. It's a pet peeve.

Ada:

She’s quite pleased with Sole’s efforts to beautify the Commonwealth. It’s ridiculous that most folks haven’t bothered to tidy up their homes-- especially considering how much useful stuff can be found in the debris. She’s also proud of Sole for trying to make things safer for the people of the Commonwealth.

Ada will help Sole clean up, picking up the bigger items. If there’s something good that can be repurposed, she’ll make sure to let Sole know!

Cait:

It never bothered Cait, the state of the world. It’s what she grew up with, after all. She gets annoyed when Sole spends so much time picking up trash and fixing stuff. Cait will complain and beg Sole to move on, wanting to do literally anything else.

If Sole insists on cleaning the Commonwealth, Cait will wander off to make her own fun. Or trouble.

Codsworth: 

He’s over the moon. Frankly, he’s sick of his cleaning subroutines firing off every time he and Sole explore the world. It’s about time somebody did something! How could people live like animals in such filth?

Codsworth will congratulate Sole on their efforts, and do everything he can to help them! 

Curie:

She didn’t think much of the state of the world, until she noticed how Sole would go through an area and clean it up. Perhaps she was just too preoccupied with her research, or maybe she didn’t realize how the dust and grime affected her non-body. But Curie sure took notice of how nice things looked compared to the rest of the land!

If Sole wants/needs help, she’s glad to do so. Otherwise, she’ll just keep them company and discuss research or other interesting things to pass time.

Danse:

He admires their dedication to improving the world. As long as Sole doesn’t get sidetracked during missions, he’s fine with it. Most civilians don’t seem to have the discipline to keep things tidy, which annoys him... It’s a bit of a pet peeve, if he’s honest. After all, life is terrible enough. Why make it worse with piles of garbage and broken structures?

Danse will help Sole keep things clean, using his expert organizational skills to do so. 

Deacon:

He’s always joked about starting a maid service after he retires from the Railroad. So naturally, when Sole began fixing and cleaning everything they could get their mitts on, he was fully supportive.

Granted, he doesn’t have a lot of time to help Sole... But he’ll try and keep them company if he’s free. Deacon will also find a way to put a team together for Sole, to help them get more done.

Dogmeat:

Any time spent with Sole is good time! He’ll happily run about as Sole works tirelessly, chewing on a baseball or teddy bear occasionally. Dogmeat will occasionally beg for pets or attention, but tries his best to keep out of Sole’s way. 

He’ll bring Sole some cool treasures he finds in the trash, too-- a colorful hat, a stuffed animal, a locket, and whatever assorted goodies catch his eye.

Hancock:

Another companion who’s fine with the state of things. It never bothered him much before, but he understands why it would bug Sole so much. Hell, post-war America must feel like a totally different dimension to Sole. He’s supportive, though, and hangs out with Sole while they do their thing. 

He also tries to keep his residence a bit cleaner from then on, out of consideration for Sole. 

Longfellow:

He doesn’t get it, and he’s ‘too old’ to start caring at this point. While he might tease Sole about their penchant for home improvement, it’s all in good fun. 

Longfellow will usually make use of the downtime and hunt, or drink. If Sole requests help, though, he’s kind enough to give it.

MacCready:

The guy lived in a cave town for years. Does he really care how things look? 

No. 

That being said, he eventually learns to appreciate the changes. It’s nice to not trip over huge cracks in the road every five seconds, y’know? MacCready will also help Sole pick through more promising piles of junk for ammo or valuables, earning the nickname ‘rat man’ in the process.

Nick Valentine:

He vaguely remembers what the world used to look like, and appreciates it immensely. So, when Sole decides to bite the bullet and improve the world, he’s pretty happy! It seems to mean a lot to Sole, so he does whatever he can to support them.

As long as there’s no active cases to work, Nick will help Sole and chat with them to pass time. He hopes that their work inspires others to take better care of the Commonwealth.

Piper:

Initially, she thinks that Sole is just trying to bring the old world back... Which is a clear waste of time. But Piper comes to realize that they aren’t trying to revert the Commonwealth-- they’re simply trying to improve the lives of others. She feels a bit ashamed, that she had so little faith in them. 

Piper would never tell them that, of course. She’s happy they’re trying to move on, and that they’re making the world a better place. 

Porter Gage:

Can’t be assed with this. It’s annoying, especially considering how many other things Sole could be doing. They’re the Overboss, for fuck’s sake. The safety improvements and raider checkpoints are the only thing he appreciates, because they reduce the chances of dying. That’s it.

He’ll take care of business while Sole is busy... Or spend time cleaning his weapons for the next job. 

Preston:

He’s inspired by Sole’s efforts. While he’s never really had a chance to clean things up himself (considering how he and the last Minutemen were on the run for months), he’s wanted to for awhile. Preston never liked how dirty things were... Plus, the cracked roads and unsafe structures were pretty bad.

Preston is happy to help Sole, and organizes spare Minutemen into shifts to help them out. He’s hands-on, too, though. What sort of friend would he be if he had Sole do all the work?

Strong:

Bored to tears as Sole works their magic. Super Mutants don’t exactly care about how the land looks. Their living areas are full of trash and gore, after all. And safety??? Who cares???

Strong wanders off, and doesn’t understand why Sole is enjoying this.

X6-88:

He must admit, Sole’s work definitely improves the Commonwealth. It’s not nearly as clean as the Institute, but it’s something. While X6-88 doesn’t necessarily enjoy the Commonwealth, he has to spend plenty of time there whether he likes it or not. So, he’ll take what he can get. 

X6-88 isn’t keen on helping Sole, but if they ask him to, he’ll obey. Usually, he spends the time tinkering with tech or, surprisingly, reading.

Wow this is an adorable prompt !! I don't know anything about ballroom dancing so imagine this more similar to square dancing because that's what I was picturing (even though I'm not exactly sure what that is either) I'm sorry this took so long btw. I wrote it out and tumblr ate it :( but I think its better now anyway. All companions are romanced in this btw.

Sole wasn't sure what to expect when their companion and them ended up at the Starlight Drive-in, but this wasn't it. The large screen was worn from centuries of neglect, but the clip of people in beautiful ballroom gowns and fancy tuxedos dancing back and forth was unmistakable. Faint classical music still played from the working speakers. The moon was full and bathing the field in soft glow. Overall, it magical scene. Both paused a few seconds, watching the screen.

Cait: Sole turned to Cait and grinned.

"Hey Cait! May I have this dance?" They asked sarcastically with a bow/curtsey.

"Are ya fuckin' kidding? I'm not a dancer." Cait replied. She obviously was unamused. Sole frowned, they honestly really did want to dance with Cait.

"Aw. Come on Cait! One dance please. It'll be fun!" Sole begged, flashing Cait their best "puppy dog eyes." Cait paused and looked at Sole, before finally letting out a sigh.

"You better not step on my foot." She grumbled and offered Sole her hand. Sole smiled and graciously took it. The dance started off slow and unsteady, but a faint smile eventually found it's way to Cait's lips. She wasn't necessarily enjoying the dance itself, but doing stuff with Sole always made her pretty happy. As the dance finished Sole leaned forward and gave Cait a quick peck on the lips.

"I love you." Sole told her with a smile.

Curie: "Oh my! That's quite an interesting scene! Look at how fancy they are!!" Curie pointed at the screen. She hadn't seen anyone dressed like that before. "Have you ever gone to a ball similar to that one?" Curie asked curiously.

"Once. It was a work event and not nearly as fancy," Sole shrugged before pausing for a few seconds to think, "Would like to try dancing with me?" Curie's eyes widened in excitement. "It would be an honor!" Curie giggled as Sole held her hands. Their dancing wasn't the smoothest. Curie sometimes struggled to keep up with Sole, but the fact that they were enjoying themselves was all that mattered. A wide smile ended up gracing both of their faces by the time Sole ended the dance with a sweet kiss.

Danse: "Dance with me, Danse!" Sole demanded with a playful smile. They really wanted to know if Danse was a good dancer.

"I don't think that would be appropriate, solider." Danse stated with stern expression. He didn't understand why Sole would want to dance in the middle of an open field. It seemed ridiculous to him. Sole frowned, aware that Danse was probably going to be stuck up about professionalism and safety, but they had to know.

"Danse, this is fate. Scenarios like this don't come up like this for no reason. We were meant to dance tonight." They half joked. "Now give me your hand. Live a little, hun." They demanded. Danse stared at Sole in contemplation before finally giving in, knowing that they wouldn't give it up. Sole began the dance, guiding Danse through the motions. Naturally, Danse started the dance as stiff as ever, but as the song went on he slowly loosened up. By the end, he even looked like it he was somewhat enjoying it.

"Now, was that so bad?" Sole asked with a knowing smile when the music finally faded out.

"..No it wasn't." He replied, his face had flushed in embarrassment.

"I guess they dont call you Danse for nothing." Sole joked, whilst giving Danse a kiss on the cheek.

Deacon: "Hey Deacon. You feeling up to dancing?" Sole asked with a grin.

"Sole, if you're gonna ask, you gotta ask properly. Like this." Deacon replied, straightening up his posture before bowing deeply. "May I have this dance?" He asked dramatically. He reached out for Sole's hand and kissed it.

"Why, of course!" Sole gasped, playing along and taking Deacon's extended hand. Deacon led the dance, and was surprisingly good at it. Sole wasn't sure how he knew how to dance like this, but they weren't complaining. It was pretty romantic. Eventually, the music faded and Deacon ended the dance with a sweet kiss. "We should dance more often. It was fun." He said with a chuckle.

Hancock: "We have to dance to this! It'll be magical!!" Sole told him, bouncing on the balls of their feet in excitement.

"This whole thing is like a scene out a movie." They said, explaining themselves futher.

Hancock laughed at Sole's idea. Then he hummed to himself, pretending to debate it. He already knew he was going to say yes. He just wanted to tease Sole for a for few seconds. Sole pleaded with him, explaining how it will be a lot of fun.

"Sure, why the hell not." He told them with a shrug. He wasn't exactly a bad dancer, but it was pretty clear that he hadn't ever really danced like this before. Their pace was a little fast for a ballroom dance, and they kept tripping on the overgrown grass. But doing something that depended on team work and wasn't dangerous was refreshing to both of them. They ended it with a passionate kiss and lots of laughter.

MacCready: MacCready watched the screen for a few seconds.

"Jeez. That's awfully fancy." He muttered mostly to himself. He noticed Sole perking up with an idea beside him.

"You know, I went to a dance like that once! I can show you how to do it if you want." Sole grinned.

"Jeez. I don't really know about that Sole. I'm not exactly a dancer." MacCready hesitated. His face had already slightly flushed from the idea of it. The fear of embarrassment was real.

"Come on! It's easy once you get the hang of it. I'll be a great teacher." Sole reassured him.

".. Fine. Just don't laugh okay?" He said.

Sole gently grasped MacCready's hand and slowly started guiding MacCready through the motions, ignoring him occasionally stepping on their foot. MacCready never really got the hang of it, unfortunately. His consistent stepping on Sole's foot and tripping over himself made the dance rather of awkward. Sole still kept a small smile on their face. They were content just being around MacCready. They stopped a few seconds before the song stopped.

"Well! Rhat was something." Sole told him, laughing softly.

"I told you I'm not a dancer!" MacCready said defensively as Sole shushed with with a kiss on the cheek.

"It's okay. We can practice again later."

Nick Valentine: "I bet we can dance better than them." Sole joked. Nick snorted in response, and gave them a questioning look.

"What you don't believe me?" They asked. "I can show you if you want."

"You don't exactly seem like the dancing type."

"Again, I'll show you." They said, now determined to prove Nick wrong. Sole carefully wrapped their hand with his, taking first steps of the dance and guiding Nick along. Finally, Nick committed and started dancing too. Out of all of the possible dance partners, Nick was probably the best one. Old Nick's memories had given him a sense of prewar class that was rare to find in people in the wasteland that seemed to give him an advantage at stuff like this. They danced quietly, silently focusing om the music and each other. It seemed to end as quickly as it began. As they separated Nick gave Sole a kiss on the cheek.

"I told you we would be good." They whispered to him with a smile.

Piper: "Did people actually dance like that, Blue?" Piper didn't understand the appeal of it all. It seemed so extra to her.

"I mean. It wasn't super common in my lifetime, but I went to a dance similar to this once for work. It's fun if you know your partner." Sole explained.

"Oh."

"Why? Do you want to try it?"

"What! No. I don't think it would be my thing." Piper laughed.

"Come on! It might be fun. Worst case scenario we don't ever do it again." Sole reach out, offering Piper their hand. Piper stared for a few seconds before taking it.

"Fine Blue. Let's try this." Sole flashed Piper a smile as they gently started guiding her through the motions. After a few moments she started catching on.

"This isn't too bad." Piper said, as the song started to end. "I don't I would do this with anyone else but.." she trailed off. Sole didn't comment and just smiled at her again. Eventually, the song began to fade out and the dance ended. Sole gave Piper a quick kiss.

"You're an natural." They chuckled.

Preston: Sole stared at the screen in wonder for a few more seconds. Simple things like movies seemed so amazing after spending months in the commonwealth.

"Hey Preston! Want to dance with me?" Sole asked, bouncing on their toes in excitement.

"No offense babe, but can you even dance?" Preston asked with legitimate curiosity.

"Preston, baby, I can dance. The real question is can you?" They teased. Preston laughed in response.

"I mean I can try." He said with a shrug.

Sole reached out and grabbed Preston's hand and got in the proper position to dance with him. They somewhat clumsily began the dance, guiding Preston along with a smile. Preston wasn't half bad at dancing, especially if you took into consideration that he hasn't ever done this before. As the dance continued on they got better at it, and by the time the music began to fade as the song ended they really looked like dancers. Eventually, they separated and Preston leaned forward to give Sole a sweet lil kiss.

X6: "Hey X6! Do yo-"

"No."

"You didn't even hear what I was going to say!" Sole complained. They just wanted to dance with X6.

"I don't need to. I know what you're going to say sir/ma'am. The answer is no." He stated. He turned and continued walking in the direction of wherever they were going, not even looking back.

Fallout 4 Companions react to Strong having a crush on Sole

(REQUESTED!!) (im cackling like a maniac already) 

(I know I used this before but...This IS Sole and Strong)

Cait: 

Cait watched as Strong stomped back and forth in front of Soles house in Sanctuary, at 4 am, on a Sunday. ‘’Oi buddy! can ya quit yer stompin?’’ she whispers out angrily, putting out her cigarette onto the side of one of the small shacks sole built Strong grumbles under his breath which makes Cait come striding up ‘’what is your problem?!’’ she was trying her best to whisper at least ‘’Strong doesn’t know!’’ he roars back she covers her ears and sighs ‘’Listen big guy, people are tryin to sleep and they cant with you stompin around’’ Strong grumbles again and points at soles door ‘’Strong cant be without master’’ ‘’what you like a lost puppy or somethin’? yer supposed to be a big mean ol’ supermutant’’ Cait scoffs, now leaning against soles house ‘’NO Strong does not want to be, without master near him, makes Strong MAD!’’ Cait’s eyes widen and she backs away slowly ‘’good lord, you better talk to MacCready about that...’’

Curie:

‘’Ah monsieur Strong!’‘ Curie waves strong over in a chirpy tune ‘‘How have our experiments gone so far? any pain? some memories? violent tendencies more than usual?’‘ Curie had gotten some data from some ‘hospital’ of sorts from New Vegas and was testing the medication in does on Strong so far nothing was different of course Strong was already more ‘Put Together’ compared to many supermutants and it had been a very small dose, ‘‘No strong want stop, making head fuzzy! weak!’‘ Curie nods and checks her chart ‘‘When does this usually happen or is it all the time?’‘ Strong stomps his feet slightly ‘‘If Strong is near master it becomes fuzzy! want to stop! need to be strong and protect Master’‘ Curie stops writing down in her notes and freezes ‘‘Oh Mon dieu’‘ 

Codsworth:

Codsworth is what he calls ‘Smart for an old bot’ he knew from the get go, hes still full of old world ideals so he isn't to keen on it, considering supermutants are known as violent brutes as well, but he warmed up to Strong (well as much as one possibly could if they weren’t sole) and it became quite entertaining for him to watch over a cup of tea and a nice book (he makes the tea for show, sadly he cant drink it) as strong ‘somehow’ gets red when with Sole, it really makes Codsworth rethink many things

Danse:

Danse...Isn’t exactly a fan of supermutants in general, that's just the way he’s  wired (haha get it...Ill go)

Strong would always try to size Danse up, whenever he would talk to Sole Strong would be there, either watching intensely with a violent glare or just interrupting whatever he could, so he went up to him and asked what his problem was, guessing it was because he used to be brotherhood and also because...Danse obviously wasn't a fan of him. Strong just stares him down and points a thick green finger to Danse’s chest poking it into him slightly ‘’Sole needs real man, not metal man’’ and walked off leaving Danse to be (the gif above)

Dogmeat:

You know that thing dogs do when they cover their eyes with their paws and or ears as well?...Yeah just that

Deacon:

One word nine letters  Terrified 

Deacon thought it was kinda cute at first when he would watch strong follow Sole around, in that scary sort of way...in that way where little girls sing ring around the rosy or your child stands beside your bed in the middle of the night and says nothing, but then he noticed things...different things, like how he would rarely let anyone else around Sole, and that one time where they went to the third rail and that person tried to hit on sole and he chucked a tantrum and set the third rail on fire and- OH MY GOD 

Piper:

Piper was making her usual rounds around Diamond City, trying to question whoever she could about her new piece ‘’Mirelurks and their MireQuirks’’ when suddenly she saw strong browsing the general supplies store she was confused why he was here alone, things may have changed since Sole came into play but he might still get given a hard time, he scratches his chin and Piper moves closer to greet him ‘’Master friend, Strong need gift for Master, Master gave Strong milk of human kindness’’ Piper thought this was very normal in fact and did help him pick out something, but then he turned to her and said ‘’How do humans show ‘E fec tion’ ‘’ and she froze ‘’Oh wow buddy i’m not the one for that um...Maybe Nicky can help he was married once well- when he was- when he wasn't- wait was he him- yes of course- um - but its- well-’’ Strong had enough of her blubbering and scoffs already walking off to see valentine, Soles gift in hand. Piper breathes out and then in deeply but then starts laughing softly, it was kind of cute really, but she didn’t think Supermutants could feel ..Love?, Piper had already found a new, and better article idea. SCORE

Preston:

Preston sighs softly, wiping the sweat away from under his hat, taking it off to fan himself with it he noticed the ground rumbling slightly beneath him ‘’Strong that you?’’ Preston turns to the direction of the rumbles and places his hat back on, sure enough he was met with big green mean fighting machine, strong. ‘’You know master, what does master like, besides blood and fighting’’ Preston purses his lips in slight confusion an audible ‘huh’ leaving his throat ‘’Strong want say sorry for Third Rail on fire, Mack Ree Dee says I should show sorry with actions’’ Preston scratches the side of his face and stares at the ground for a minute ‘’why don't you go to diamond city? check out the stuff there I’m sure they would like anything from the surplus store’’ Strong grunts in agreement and stomps away again behind Strong stood MacCready with a tilted head and raised eyebrows Preston looks at him completely confused until MacCready takes his two fingers and draws a heart, Preston stands there dumbfounded his gun falling from his hands

Valentine:

It was a slow day for nick, seemed not many people needed help nowadays guess he had Sole to thank for this time off, but he was getting a bit restless with all this sitting around waiting for something, he felt kind of bad for wishing for things to happen but he was sick of the small ‘Lost my cat’ or ‘forgot where my nuka-cola truck was’ and sick of the fact all of those were deacon in different wigs, so when his door opened he was pretty excited he turns his head up quickly and is met with strong slowly trying to squeeze into the door, he struggled for a few minutes before sitting down, and then breaking the chair, but he still sat in place on top of the broken chair on the floor, nick chuckles and rubs at his temples why was the world against him ‘’Strong, great to see you...What do you need?’’ strong was quick to speak ‘’Paper send me but before that pwes ton and then before that mac ree dee and then before him irish lady, and now im here help strong now metal man!’’ nick rubs the lower part of his face and sighs ‘’so...Paper? sent you specifically?’’ strong nods with a grumble ‘’Alright..tell me what you need’’ it was better than seeing deacon in a long blonde wig talking in a high pitch voice about his cheating husband for 5 hours ‘’Strong been told to come to you because you were married and I need to know E fec tion’’ Nicks eyes widen slightly, the pupils whirrling vibrantly this had to be one of deacons tricks ‘’Affection? for whom’’ Strong slams a big green fist on the desk, breaking it, nick pretends the desk is still there for sanity sake and rests his arms in midair ‘’For Master! who else would be good enough for E fec tion’’ Nick could die at that moment ‘’Alright Deacon you can come out now’’ Strong roars angrily ‘’Bald man at settlement!’’ oh god so this was...Serious, nick takes a looooonnngggggg drag of a cigarette and sighs ‘’Alright...ill help ya’’

All of the companions where sharing their opinions/outlooks on Strongs growing affections on sole/if Sole would return them and all that, Hancock threw in a few sexual jokes (making everyone groan in different tones) while everyone else already knew X6 did not, and he found it obscene

Hancock:

Once the institute was defeated Hancock and Sole both came up with the idea to have a party for everyone at the third rail, all of good neighbour was decorated from top to bottom with funny decor, synth scraps, all of that (much to x6′s dislike, he still went) everything was fine and dandy, everyone was partying it up, Magnolia switched It up for the night and was singing some upbeat party tunes, and then some random stumbled up to Sole, Hancock watched for a distance he knew Sole could handle themselves so he just watched silently, it was chill and all until Strong war cried, threw the person into some lit candles which then got caught on a decoration and set it on fire and then in shock some people bumped into each other and started fighting AND THEN as everything was going to shit Sole had to jump up to Strong to avoid the fire as it pooled around them, the way strong held onto Sole, told him enough whether supermutants could feel that kinda thing or not wasn't his business. Putting out his cigarette he sighs and decides to help in the chaos as Deacon walked into the third rail ‘’ I BROUGHT PIZZ- aaaa???!’’

Sole:

Sole was sitting at dinner with Mac, Duncan and Shaun and turned towards the empty spot they had reserved for Strong with a sigh. They just continue to smile and eat, until the door gets fireman kicked down (I cannot stop with that) and strong appears Sole stands up and strong walks towards them, a pretty sweet looking belt in hand he throws it at sole and they catch it ‘’is this for me strong? well thanks! I-’’ then Strong picks them up and awkwardly  hugs them to his body sole struggles a little bit against him ‘’is this about the third rail? its alright strong I told you that I was just busy’’ Strong ‘’I’m trying to do human E fec tion’’ sole goes silent and then smiles softly ‘’thanks strong that’s really nice of you to do that for me, but you don’t have to I like you the way you are’’ strong slowly puts sole down and sole pats him on the arm

Cait sighs in unbelievable frustration. “There’s hundreds of these! What the fuck are you even going to do with them?” She may ‘accidentally’ drop a few on the way back. Alt: She tears the head off of it. There can be only one. Also she’ll sideeye Sole for a long time after that.

Codsworth doesn’t really know what to say. He wants to be supportive but what the heck is this? Carries what he can because he did ask if they needed him to and of course he’ll help Sole but it might be a while before he asks again.Alt: he’s probably honestly really flattered. Totally ignores how impractical it is and gladly carries the whole thing all the way home. To think, Sole loves him this much!

Curie isn’t too bothered about it. She’s excited to see what Sole will put them to use for. Maybe they’ll tear out the stuffing to make better pillows and sew the ‘skin’ into blankets. Maybe they’ll hand them out to children to make them happier. The possibilites are endless.Alt: She doesn’t really get why but she knows it’s some sort of compliment. It’s not something someone would do out of malice, right? Agrees to help carry it but will ask a LOT of questions about it.

Danse probably refuses to carry them at first. Like, yeah Sole repurposes a lot of scrap into good things but teddy bears? Come on. Eventually gets begged into helping because he just can’t resist helping out.Alt: He’s completely perplexed. Has a million questions but he’s a little afraid to ask. He’ll help carry it home but he’ll make damn sure it gets hidden where no one will ever find it.

Deacon says “Oh whoa! Where’d you get these? I thought super-secret weapons like these were forbidden!” He’ll help Sole carry them home but probably because he wants a few to himself. There are already plans hatching in how to use them. Like, maybe he’ll place one at the foot of MacCreadys bed every morning and see how long until he completely freaks out.Alt: “Be-…Beacon? I thought I’d never see you again! Hey Sole, how’d you find my twinbrother?” Will absolutely shred it though, once Sole looks away. Says his twin had a horrible accident but oh well! Why dwell on it.

Dogmeat goes NUTS once he sees all the teddybears. Sole knows only half are going to make it home now. He leaves a trail of torn heads and stuffing behind them. Alt: His tail starts wagging so hard his whole butt wags. Wants to play and wants to play NOW. Will whine the whole way home until he gets to play with his new best friend.

Hancock stares at them for a minute. “I mean, I ain’t gonna judge you. I just… Alright.” Can’t really imagine the use for them but he trusts Sole. Like Codsworth, probably wont ask to help again for a while. Alt: Tries to keep it cool but is super flattered. “Y’know, if you just wanted somethin’ to cuddle I’m right here. Don’t need a teddy for that.”

MacCready takes one look at the teddy bears and says “No.” Eventually gets bullied or convinced to help out, depending on how you look at it, but is Not Happy about it. Will constantly let Sole know just how not happy he is. Alt: He’s also pretty flattered but mostly suspicious. What’s its purpose? Is it for comfort and cuddling? Is it a punching bag? Are they going to try to frame him for murder or something?

Nick just sighs and says “Kid…” Does help out because, like Codsworth, he did say he would. Lets them know though that if this the kind of stuff they collect until they’re overencumbered, they can keep it to themselves next time.Alt: He gets that it’s meant as some sort of compliment but it’s, like, too much of a compliment.

Piper says “Oh come on. You can’t possibly need all of these.” Agrees to carry a few but just enough so that Sole can carry the rest of it themselves. Probably keeps a cute one to herself but doesn’t admit it. Alt: Depending on how close they are, Piper is either a little creeped out or laughs about it. Isn’t really into it but as long as Sole doesn’t get gross about it it’s fine.

Preston hesitates but of course, trusts Sole to have a purpose for them. Plus they’re already heading back home to drop their inventory off, he should be helping them carry the load anyway. Alt: Like Piper it depends a little on how close the are. Less creeped out though and more worried that it might be some kind of joke he’s not in on. Doesn’t really laugh about it either but gets really shy when he thinks about Sole having a teddy bear dressed as him.

Strong thinks all scrap is crap so it being teddy bears doesn’t faze him. Picks it up and carries it because Strong is strong, tiny fluffy bears are nothing to him. Alt: Stares at it like Ferris Bueller until Sole hides it ‘cause obviously it’s freaking him the hell out.

X6-88 doesn’t question Soles requests. They are far more superior not only to him but to everyone else in the Commonwealth. If they want him to carry 300+ teddy bears he’ll carry 300+ teddy bears. Maybe it’s a test. To see how loyal he is.Alt: probably a little insulted as an initial reaction. Think he’s being compared as a teddy bear; soft and harmless. Then a little worried he might be getting replaced by it, in a humiliating send off. Later understands that it’s an affectionate gesture and it warms him.

Ada is already on board, don’t need to explain anything. It can always come in handy, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Alt: if bots could cry she would. Gets weirdly sentimental and tries to hug Sole but is so into it she bruises their arms. If she wasn’t already ride or die for Sole, she is now.

Longfellow rolls his eyes but carries some. Probably ditches a few along the way but unlike Cait he doesn’t bother trying to say it was an accident. “Just a few casualties.” Dropkicks one off a cliff just because. Alt: Gets really happy about it, thinks it’s pretty cool they made it look just like him. Asks if he can keep it.

Gage is a little worried that his new Boss might be losing a few screws but then figures it might be some kind of psychological warfare on their enemies. Doesn’t ask about it because he doesn’t want to seem stupid but thinks long and hard and can’t imagine what they’re going to be used for. Alt: Doesn’t have a huge reaction. Thinks it’s neat they got his details down but makes sure to let them know people can still tell it’s a teddy bear and it’s a shitty decoy.

Teen F!Sole Gets Her Period for the First Time

Cait - Is pretty taken off-guard by the whole thing and feels sort of weird explaining it. However, she gives her a rough verbal description of how to do it, trying to avoid going into too much detail but successfully stating some things in a much too crude manner. She eventually scrounges some stuff for her and leaves her alone with it, hoping the girl won't need help.

Piper - Probably handles it the best of the group. She's already had to go through this with Nat not too long ago, so she's already got words of wisdom from before. She doesn't act weird about it, and makes sure not to discuss it more than F!Sole is comfortable with, but she just sort of shows her what to do on a clean pair of underwear and then leaves her to it unless she needs further assistance.

Curie - Handles it very calmly and just proceeds to sweetly explain it to her and tell the girl that it is one hundred percent normal. She tells her it is a part of the growing process, and it is a signal of the beginnings of bodily maturity setting in. She helps F!Sole find the proper supplies and gives her a thorough explanation of how to use them. Ultimately, Curie's descriptions are quite embarrassing, but it is very helpful in the end.

MacCready - Is terribly awkward and he just sort of does a lot of explaining that does not really equate to anything at all. He is not helpful in the least in the way of talking it out and making her feel better about it, so he just gets her some things and tries his best to give an explanation on how to do it, wracking his brain to try to remember how his wife did it before.

Deacon - Is outwardly cool, but on the inside, he's sort of freaking out. He does not have any idea how to handle this kind of thing, but he bluffs his way through it. He tells her it's normal and that she doesn't have to worry. It's just like every other bloodletting ritual that freaky cult religions pull, but it's nature's bloodletting ritual. Unfortunately, this way of explaining it terrifies her a little, so he has to tone back on the jokes and keep things a little more serious.

Codsworth - Is very elegant with it and reassures her, explaining it is nothing to be worried about and it is the beginning of her journey into womanhood. Of course, that made it much weirder than it had to be, but he means well. He quickly finds some stuff for her and tells her how to put it on, his healthcare protocols kicking in.

Hancock - Is a little surprised, but does not let it bother him. He handles it with that characteristic coolness with which he handles most things to do with F!Sole and he tells her it's all good, that it's normal, and every girl does it at some point. However, he does send Fahrenheit to find things the girl needs and when she comes back, he asks for a subtle rundown on what to tell the teen.

Danse - Bold of you to assume he does not almost pass out as soon as he is asked. He is standing there, hanging on by a thread as he tries to find the best explanation. Haylen soon finds them, fortunately, and she takes over for him. He leaves the room, heading outside to take the place of a soldier at watch. He needs some air...

Preston - Is awkward and pretty uncertain, but he tries to at least outwardly portray a sense of calmness in order to avoid freaking her out. He kindly assures her that she is perfectly fine and that it's normal for girls to do this. He ends up getting help from the nearest female Minuteman, and he asks her to explain it to the teen because he truly has no idea what he's doing.

Valentine - Is a little taken off-guard, but he handles it well. It does not surprise him, and he just calmly explains things to her before borrowing some things from Ellie until he can get F!Sole some of her own. He uses common sense and gives her a general explanation of how he thinks one is supposed to do it. He just waits outside the bathroom, listening carefully in case she needs him to come and explain things to her.

X6-88 - Just stares at her for a really long time before blinking and swiftly teleporting her to the Institute where he leaves her with some experienced doctors. He waits outside, not having any idea what is so severely wrong with her to make her start bleeding from such areas. Fortunately, he is given instruction on what to do in the future, and he figures out that it is perfectly normal.

Strong - Is confused and creeped out. He has never heard of humans bleeding from there and he asks her if an enemy shot between her legs. When she says that no enemy shot her, he is even more freaked out and he asks her why she is bleeding for no reason. He tells her she needs to eat raw meat or something and build her strength in hopes it'll make the bleeding stop.

Companions react to a male SS getting a boner because of them (sfw/nsfw-ish):

Well, it was a regular day in the Commonwealth and as custom Sole was with their faithful companion. There were just chilling and drinking in Home plate. As also custom whenever they finished a particularly long mission.

But fortunately, this type of chilling was different. He couldn't tell if it was their companion making him feel that way or maybe it was liquor. Either way, it was turning him on. So much so that he couldn't help but imagine how it would feel to be embracing their companion. To feel being inside them or even them inside him.

Cait: The fighter is no stranger to boners. Due to the fact that she spent 5 years around chemed up raiders. That's all you saw in the raider encampments. Raiders doing chems, themselves, other raiders, drinking, and brawling. Boners were a common occurrence around her. But what was a little surprising is when Sole got a boner because of her. Don't get it wrong she isn't disgusted, she was just a little taken back. Nevertheless, she would either help him out with his situation or she would just plain smack him for thinking about her in that kind of way. 

Curie: "Monsieur, are you okay?" She would ask at first and even checking his temperature. Looking down and seeing him hard would spark Curie's interest. Curiously she would eventually grab at it only for Sole to groan in response. Hearing that she would retract her hands. Due to Sole's sudden noise, it would intrigue her all that much more. Insisting Sole take off his pants so she could do an exam on it. Obviously Sole would refuse at first but eventually, he gave into her. Pulling off his pants in a swift motion. Dropping straight down to her knees Curie would examine his problem. But after a few minutes, Curie finally got the message. Which would then prompt her to stand up abruptly and apologizing profusely. She would also offer some sort of lubrication and leave the house for a few hours. The reason being is not only was it awkward but she also needs some supplies for her doctor's bag.

Deacon: The jokester wouldn't know what to do at first kinda awkwardly laughing while pretending to scratch the back of his head. But being the way he is, he would either tease them a bit more or he would just leave them so they can let fix their problem. The part about him teasing Sole is that he'll ask questions like: “Aren’t you happy to see me?” and “Who made you feel that way?”. He would follow this up by sitting on Sole’s lap just to make the pain all that more excruciating. But the other part is when Deacon would leave them to take care of themselves. This would only happen if he were not romanced. He would be sure to leave for a few hours and come back a little later with some sort of food and weird jokes he had overheard or came up with while in the market.

Danse: The Brotherhood of Steel Paladin was an absolute blushing mess. He would criticize them, of course, saying things like “That is a highly inappropriate thing to do soldier.” and “You need to fix that soldier.”. Constantly stumbling over every single word that came out of his mouth. For him, he couldn't fathom how he could get anyone worked up especially Sole in any kind of way. Of course, Danse would apologize and excuse himself from Sole and leave. There's is no way in hell he would stick around in a situation like that. You can bet that Danse would be avoiding Sole in the halls of the Prydwen in the following weeks.

MacCready: Much like Danse, MacCready is a blushing, criticizing mess. But if romanced he would actually stay by Sole’s side and fix Sole’s problem for them. If not romanced he would fumble with his words to Sole. Attempting to try to understand why they were at full attention when they were just drinking a couple of beers. Either way, Mac would leave Sole’s to his thoughts and go out and get some ammo for his rifle. He was planning on upgrading the mag anyway.

Hancock: Hancock was no stranger to boners same as Cait. The ghoul had seen plenty of them roaming the streets of GoodNeighbor. And had several of his own. Who hasn't heard about the sex demon of Goodneighbor? He has one of the highest sex drives in the whole Commonwealth. So when it comes to Sole getting a boner. Hancock sees it as an opportunity. Rather than a simple mistake. Just know both he and Sole were worn out at the end of it.

Nick: Nick was absolutely astonished by Sole’s sudden excitement. The old synth detective couldn’t wrap his head around someone having any attraction to him let alone sexual attraction. Once he sees it he almost instantly excuses himself and leaves towards his office. Those case files weren’t going to sort themselves. Eventually, after a few hours, he will come back and explain why Sole shouldn’t feel that way towards him. After his explanation, he would stop talking about it. And if Sole brings it up he will act like it didn't happen.

Piper: At first she would ask stuff like: “You okay, blue?” and “Is it just me or are you happy to see me, Blue?. Sarcastic comments like that would have both of them end up in a heated make-out session. Which would eventually lead to sex which in turn would lead to more sarcastic comments. Both Piper and Sole are both aware of her technics on her getting what she wants. But none of them say anything about it. 

Preston: Like all minuteman, you have to be prepared to see things you don't normally see. Boners included. So Sole’s boner, it was not much of a big deal on the outside for him. But on the inside, Preston was giddy as an old prewar school girl. And of course, he would offer to help the general being his second command and all. Doing this would in fact eventually lead to them both laid out on the bed breathing heavy and naked. Both wishing for Sole’s boners to pop up more often.

X6-88: The Courser was shocked, to say the least. Who knew that the director of THE Institute would have any attraction to him. A courser. A synth. But sexual attraction at that was the real kicker. Yes, he has given Sole plenty of compliments before but Sole’s body never really responded that way to his words before. Even just his body language was the same. And yet Sole still found him attractive. Either way, he would offer his services if needed but if not he would kindly step out and leave the boss to tend to his own personal duties.

Fallout 4 Companions react to Sole having advanced prosthetics from before the bombs fell. 

Hey anon, thanks so much for the ask! This was really interesting to think about, and yeah, I also headcannoned one of my OCs as a soldier before the bombs fell, cuz yeah... not sure how helpful being a lawyer would be in post-apocalyptic times 😅 I hope you enjoy!

Cait:

     Her eyes would fall to the line across Sole’s right elbow, wondering how she hadn’t noticed it before. She wouldn’t care too much, and wouldn’t treat them any differently, but she would be interested in how Sole had gotten their injury, and would certainly try and coax the whole story out of them (resorting to the use of alcohol if necessary to loosen their lips). She was so bold about her own traumatic past experiences, so Sole could surely tell her about this one thing, right? The brawler might also be interested in the physical abilities of their prosthetic arm and hand, wondering if it would give them an edge in the next bar fight they found themselves in.

Curie:

     She would be very interested in every detail Sole could provide regarding their prosthetic shoulder, left chest plate, and arm. The scientist wouldn’t be able to contain herself, asking question after question about its functionality, the nature of Sole’s injury before they received the prosthetic, their rehabilitation process, the way the prosthetic interacts with Sole’s body and how it's able to move. As Sole stood there, trying to figure out where to begin, Curie’s eyes would widen in surprise at her own rudeness, she would apologize and ask if Sole was comfortable discussing their injury with her. As she finds out more, Curie would begin to try and create her own prosthetics based off of Sole’s in order to help any handicapped patients she came across in the Commonwealth.

Danse:

     The paladin’s eyes would widen at Sole’s words. He never would have guessed that Sole’s entire left hip and leg was an advanced prosthetic, and the commanding officer would be curious as to why they hadn’t mentioned it to him earlier. He would feel guilty as he thought back on all of the times he pushed them harder, told them to gruffly to keep up or to continue moving after it seemed like they needed rest. He would apologize and ask how he could help to better accommodate Sole, offering to speak to Proctor Teagan and Proctor Ingram about Sole’s circumstances and possible improvements to their power armor or the prosthetic itself. Danse would be a little hesitant, but ultimately he would gain the courage to ask if they would be comfortable telling him about how they were injured, going so far as to share some of the stories surrounding his own battle scars with them in return.

Deacon:

     Deacon would have been curious as to why Sole always wore their sunglasses, he often thought perhaps they were simply mocking him. But one night, as they removed their shades and locked eyes with him, he would notice the difference in coloration and ask them about it. When they told him one of their eyes was a fully functioning prosthetic, he'd be a little shocked, not even aware that those existed, but interested nonetheless. Apart from the occasional joke about Sole getting an eye patch, being a pirate, or just sight-related puns in general, he would be pretty chill about the whole thing. If Sole wanted to tell him more about it, he was open to it, but he wouldn't mind if they wanted to keep it to themself. No matter how much he knows, Deacon would be protective of his partner, and would try his best to keep their prosthetic a secret from as many people as possible, since it is such a unique feature of theirs.

Hancock:

     He wouldn't even break eye contact with Sole when they told him about their prosthetic right arm and shoulder, he would just ever so slightly raise the ridge above his eyes in surprise at having never noticed before. It really wouldn't matter to him, and he would treat Sole the same way he always has, just maybe he would try and stick to the right of them more often since he knows that it's their weaker side. If they're ever in any pain, he'll of course have a plethora of chems on hand to help relieve them of it. He won't be one to openly ask about their past and their injury, but if they want to tell him, he's all ears and no judgment.

MacCready:

     He would try to act nonchalant when they told him about their prosthetic forearm, wrist, and hand, but his expression would clearly give away his shock. What do you mean it’s not real!? How does it work? What happened to your real arm? Can you still feel stuff with it? Does it make it harder to aim? How does it move? A hundred questions would tumble into his mind, but he would try his best to keep them all from spilling out of his mouth at once, putting on a cool front, he’d simply nod and tell them that he’s glad they felt they could tell him about it, and that would be the end of it for now. As they continue traveling together, he would periodically voice one of the questions he had thought of before, still trying to seem aloof about the whole thing. In reality, he thinks it’s really cool, and it reminds him of a few comic book characters he’s read about.

Nick:

     The detective was nothing short of astounded when he looked into Sole’s eyes for the first time after finding out they were fully functioning prosthetics. He couldn’t believe it, they looked so realistic, he never would have known if he hadn’t been told. Finding out about Sole’s eyes honestly made the synth feel more at home around them; not that they had ever made him feel alienated as a synth, but now he felt like they could empathize with him a bit more easily. Although, he must admit, he’s a little jealous of their normal-looking eyes in comparison to his own. The older synth has made his peace with who and what he is, having been this way his whole synthetic life, but he may just approach Sole and speak to them about where, hypothetically, he could find prosthetics like theirs, and would consider speaking to Dr. Amari about installing them. Sole, of course, would help him out, all while making sure Nick knew how much they liked his eyes the way that they are.

Piper:

     The reporter's eyes would slowly widen with each inch Sole's pant leg was rolled up to expose their prosthetic ankle, shin, and knee. She would then try to contain her shock, but would fail pretty miserably as her interviewing instinct kicked in and she began firing off every question that entered her mind. Most of them had to do with how Soles life changed after they had their injury, and then received their prosthetic limb, and Sole would answer a few to appease her before she realized how insensitive she was being. Piper would then instantly make up for it by apologizing to them, and offering to help them out with anything they may need. More often than not, while they were traveling, she would offer to carry more, would try and take more rest stops, and would offer even more snacks and beverages to Sole along the way. Sole would insist that they're okay, telling her about the fully functioning nature of their prosthetic, but she would still take efforts to help them out more often.

Preston:

     He would start by apologizing to Sole after he found out, but he wouldn’t be sure exactly why he felt the need to apologize. Perhaps because he felt sorry for them, and the injury and rehabilitation they had to live through? Or maybe it was because he felt like he had put too much pressure on them from the start? He had asked them to take down a dozen raiders and a deathclaw on the first day he’d met them, and then offered them the position of general, and all this time they had been helping those in need of their help with two prosthetic legs. They told him briefly that they had been injured before the bombs fell, but he hadn’t realized it had been this extensive. He would be sure to take it a little easier on them, and would be more conscious of their well-being, offering to rest more when they were traveling, and giving what missions he could to other minutemen. Preston wouldn’t pry, but would be ready to listen if Sole ever wanted to tell him more about their injury or their experience living with their prosthetics.

     X6's expression would remain ultimately unchanged as they told him about their two prosthetic hands, but he would marvel at their authenticity. How had he not known that they were prosthetics? The courser would ask if they were fully functional, if only to ensure that the prosthetics wouldn't be a danger to Sole in combat, but once assured that they were, he wouldn't treat Sole any differently. Inside, he would be curious about how Sole had sustained such an injury, but he would never voice it. If they did choose to tell him the whole story, he would simply listen and nod, a little confused as to why they felt the need to share this information with him. Though he didn't know why they told him, he would feel a strange lightness in his chest at the fact that they trusted him enough to share something this personal with him.

Walking memories

It’s winter and my daily routine begins to sort out. My language slowly progresses. My room at my host family begins to feel like a home. My daily 5 mile walks to and from works were transitioned beyond my sore feet. I could finally absorb my surroundings. The details, the bread, the potato sandwiches and ladies with daily vegetable stands.

They were always there. But now, I could see them as if my sight was taken. I  stumbled on linen and material shops to make my way in. It was at these make shift stores, nestled in older buildings on the main street I haggled for huge soft purple blanket and a traditional pattern throw with fringe. Its there the word for pillow case and pillow where taught. Showing pictures from my Cell phone, saying I need this!

Piece by piece over a few weeks my room filled with these and other objects; small mirror and bright lamp, a curtain to hang on my door to the hallway, a knob to screw on my broken draw. A bit of privacy in a house of 8, making my life somewhat normal.

Americans are less social then Georgian culture in certain ways. We generally, are not inspecting each others comings and goings. At every turn, a question “where are you heading, then when are you coming back?” At least 6 of the 8 asking, the baby only cooed, one after another bopping in an out. Checking in with me. This local behavior embraced my walks too. Metro areas in American you’d think only someone would ask for directions and scurry a way. 

Then I discover this coffee gig. Not a gig exactly. Coffee is a round the clock  social event. I know I was sent to three months of boot camp style training on this, but finally, I see what what those lessons were about. 

My first experience where I encounter a super friendly stranger and it became a coffee event,  It was this tiny coffee shop, easy to miss, if not for the sign board on the street walk. Daily,  I see the sign, but where is this coffee? I had been seeing these signs, but only thought to stop and stare when it could be a good coffee.  Ah yes, there it is right under my nose.  A tiny non standard width glass door, maybe 28 inches wide.

Georgia’s door openings are inconsistently size, in fact much of the building code is lax. Wires for electric and internet are shared and tangled in various knots on various poles that  criss-cross. Doorways should be slowly opened as stairwells can be removed but “not” the door! Mornings I would find glass on my 2 X6 deck with glass from fallen windows above after a good thunderstorm, that opening was not a door exactly, it was a window you climbed out of. 

Yes, back to coffee. I walk through the narrow door. A woman who of course speaks Russian or Armenian   breaks out in Armenian first.  I live a hour and half from Armenia’s capital, Yerevan. Armenians are the most industrious of business people, they own many of the shops and there is friction over this. I need know to use my Georgian to get my coffee, the term for want and coffee are simple for me now and its understood, but that does not deter conversation. 

I learn they sell  instant coffee, JACOBs and it is sugar on steroids. Her machine for making it is broken, which on many other visits it was broken, so  she boils a pot of water, retrieves a very tiny cup, fills it with the dusty powder;  Cost 30 cents or 50 cents. I am sitting in a very tiny chair, more like a stool or child’s chair. For that small transaction,  we talk for an hour likely,  because a friend is now joining us in this crammed room. I learned much about her on my many visits. She did not own the shop, which is common she worked for the husband or brother.  They sold cigarettes too.  Tobacco smoking is cheap and fashionable. Women do not smoke openly, but men do on every corner. This money gathering  is the same with beauty shops too, a man will come by and take the money, sometimes twice a day. 

My coffee exploits continued, the yarn shop, the cake shop, the bread shop. Socializing is part of your goals in Peace Corps, lucky me. I had standard answers by now, and a few silly Georgian canned joked. Like men or husbands are crazy, but I only have one! Church too, but that stone floor is tough on the knees, but after church when I found the Catholic church with pews,  I was hauled into a 3 hour coffee at a home with no escape route, a cup of soup boiled for days and cookies. Half hour good, 3 hours with all the neighbors tricky when your stared at and spoken to in a second language. 

Occasionally, then more routinely, I stopped at the one of two western style hotels in town. At first for the guaranteed western restrooms. Later would buy a real cappucino or Turkish coffee (traditional, small cup), best compared to espresso taken with nice cold glass of water. Often eat there, as the food was guaranteed safe.  The business manager had schooled outside Georgia and was literate in English. We had met on my projects early in service.  At first the discussions entailed much of the priorities to develop tourism, not the same as coffee with the ladies shops, he is not a lady. I learned a lot and felt this bond of friendship developing.  

Fun to think back on, its felt as though you’re in school again but your not when your first meeting people.  I found myself learning more Georgian and for me, it was important to discuss topics with emphasis even if my vocabulary was weak. My new friend was a second tutor, but, a crush or sorts. No, a crush it was. 

In learning the word for important, I wanted all to know how it important is was for me to visit places and go all the places. And how I loved nature, we had these values in common as we sipped coffee, now a few times a week. In fact, twice I was offered a ride so I would not have to walk back to my host home.   The crush is developing. 

At  coffee on a day no different day than another, he starts our talk that leads  “I will take you and I will call you tonight!” Oh, “sure” and before you know it “here’s my number”  One evening shortly after the call comes “the car is broke” we were to visit a start gazing spectacular above the castle” Me,  “no problem”, but an hour later as the dusk moved to evening another call came “the car is fixed!” meet “us” at the bottom of the hill. 

Days leading up to this, became a bit of a fantasy. He was clearly younger, best guess 42 at the most, but its enjoyable to listen to those younger, bright with dreams. I meet that night at the bottom of the hill by the gas station. Joined  him in his 4x4  SUV in the front and saw a  chaperone  aka guy friend in the back. He never spoke the entire trip. 

Later, other instances when I lived alone at my apartment, it was explained. Men were not allowed to come up the stairs alone and knock at your door. 

We drive up the dirt road, listening to the story of how this will be the most wonderful tourist spot, but there is no running water, at the top. Well it most certainly would.  And we discussed this water needed, me insisting on good restroom and how there is a natural brook not too far. At the top it you could see the immense Castle (thousands of year old border fortress), lit up with lights that shined gold in the distance. Above the starts shone well in the dark sky as the dust settles late at night. I did not want that minute to end. 

My now very close friend was supportive when my mom fell ill with her first heart attack. We spoke about family and how that is all that really matters.  Family is so important to culture in Georgia. About half way through my service he found a local girl and married and within that year had their first child.  I slowed my coffee visits  and arranged for others to take me all the places. When I stopped the last time in May 2019 and shared my trip to America would be for awhile, they seemed so sad. And I was too. Not even a hug as my good bye was in the open. 

You’re not told or maybe you do not understand  how much you will miss people after Peace Corps. I will make it back one day for coffee.

Here it is Anonymous! I tried my best and I hope you like it and enjoy reading it! same goes to everyone else who decides to read! Cait: She wants a pair of mechanical arms, after she saw Sole punch her way through raiders, the sound of bones crunching and the sight of blood gushing everywhere was a thrill to see and she wants in on that action. Also she was jealous that having mechanical hands meant Sole was immune to the usual pain of using your hands to fight so often like bruised or busted knuckles, broken fingers or a broken hand. The Commonwealth better watch out for Sole and her though because together they were a fighting force no one could bring down. Cait is almost tempted to bring Sole back with her to the Combat zone and give everyone a real run of their money, because no one would be able to beat you!      

X6-88: Didn't even blink at Sole’s mechanical legs, after all he was surrounded by robots and older synths made of similar parts everyday. He did offer to give the choice of upgrading the mechanical legs to better material or to have the Institutes scientist and doctors give them an actual new set of legs, flesh, blood, bone and all. Sole opted to go with better material for the legs though because they were so use to having them at this point and it was nice to not feel pain in them if they were hit by bullets! Once they got their new legs, they couldn't believe how nice and new and shiny they where, and how they could walk and run a lot more smoothly without the joints stiffening up because it needed more oil.

Strong: Thought it was pretty badass that Sole had mechanical parts attached to them, but he had been confused at first and wondered if Sole was really a synth. Sole just laughed and explained they were human but when they had been in the war they had unfortunately lost both arms and part of their left leg due to an explosion. This made the mutant even more inspired by Sole, to survive so much pain and then come back twice as strong was amazing. He always loved fighting next to Sole because they could really take a hit and pack a punch with their metal fist, and break people's ribs and crush spines with one kick from their left leg!

Preston: He had nothing but respect for Sole, so even though he really wanted to ask about their one mechanical arm he refrained from doing so because he thought it might be a touchy subject. When they were out on patrol together in Sanctuary, Sole would sometimes catch him taking a fast glance at their arm and it made them chuckle that he was so fascinated by it. They finally decided to tell him the story, but Preston was so embarrassed to be caught and quickly apologized saying he didn’t mean anything by looking he just thought their arm was really cool. Sole just told him it was fine and laughed saying they actually lost it in a car accident at one point, but it was alright and it didn’t bother them anymore.

Piper: Right off the bat she is fascinated by that mechanical arm of Sole’s and isn’t at all embarrassed to ask questions or ask for the story of how they got the arm. Sole admits it was due to an accident in their younger days before they even had their Son Shaun, but isn’t to keen about going into details. Piper really wants the story but see’s that Sole is uncomfortable about it so she drops it, but she does ask questions like if the area where the metal connects to their shoulder still hurts?How do they keep up the maintenance of it now? Just stuff like that, all of which Sole is happy to answer. For once Sole is glad someone is just asking innocent questions instead of making rude comments or making assumptions about who they where as a person.

Nick: When he had first met Sole he thought they were another synth similar to him because of the fact Sole had both mechanical arms and legs, he was a little shocked once he learned they were in fact human. He was always quick to defend Sole from anyone who gave them shit, and they even shared tools when they had to do tune ups and quick fixes on different limbs. Also Sole found it sweet when Nick would help them with any mechanical problems they couldn’t fix on their own or would give suggestions on how to make them better in the long run. He also found it pretty fun to have Sole out on different cases because there limbs were stronger then his and Sole could easily snap a grown man's neck with one hand.

MacCready: He loved the strength Sole possessed from having two mechanical arms and loved seeing them in action out in the wasteland. Sole could punch their way through a room of raiders without breaking a sweat and Mac wouldn’t even have to break out his sniper. Once Sole even single handedly carried an injured Mac out of a shoot out and killed the rest of the enemies nearby to get him to safety, and he admired them even more after that incident, and he always found ways to compliment them and their strength. He even told Sole he sometimes wished he could have their arms causing them to chuckle and say that they definitely had their props but getting them had come with a painful cost because with the arms they didn’t come with any sensory to touch which made them a bit mournful to that loss, and when Shaun had first been born they were scared they might hurt him by accident.

Hancock: When he had first seen Sole strolling in with a hot pair of deadly looking, modified mechanical arms his interest was peaked instantly. And when He watched them crush Finn’s windpipe and break his neck in one go with said arm he about lost his mind, and went over to introduce himself. He loved having Sole around him and bragging about how tough Sole was and how he dared anyone to mess with them, which no one did unless they were stupid. The praise made Sole blush at first but after awhile they beamed with pride at someone loving their arms so much, because in the past people would just stare or say nasty hateful things. With Hancock though they knew no one would get away with talking shit and if they did he would either kill them or make them personally apologize to Sole, which they adored him for always.

Dogmeat: He adored Soles mechanical arms and loved the way they felt when they gave him a good belly rub or head scratch, so much better than normal arms! He also loved that Sole could throw sticks really far since their arms where so strong, and they could pick him up and carry him around if he ever got hurt like he weighed nothing. No matter what parts Sole had or didn’t have and no matter how they looked, Dogmeat would always love them!

Deacon: He had been watching Sole for a long time but was surprised to learn later on that they had mechanical legs, he almost thought Sole was some kind of old generation synth. Sole was quick to explain though that they had lost their legs a long time ago to a shark attack, Deacon thought they were joking with him at first, but Sole showed them some other scars from the attack that could only be created by something as deadly as a shark and he shut up about it. He couldn’t believe they survived something that crazy, but he had to admit as much as it sucked to lose your legs, having mechanical one’s seemed pretty sweet, He watched as Sole was able to do some crazy ass moves when kicking people and he kinda wished he could do that to, and he also gave Sole the nickname of Crazy Legs, which Sole didn’t seem to mind too much.

Desdemona: Kinda like Deacon she wasn’t expecting their newest recruit to have mechanical limbs, but she saw this as an advantage to their cause. She would always send Sole out on missions that required them to work with rescuing synths because she figured they would be more comfortable with how Sole looked and relate to them on a more personal level. She found that her conclusion about this was right and Sole was successful on multiple missions and she found it amusing that Deacon had told her that Sole’s new earned agent name was Crazy Legs.

Danse: He originally thought Sole was some kind of synth but Sole quickly defended themselves and told him that they had lost their right arm and leg in the war before the bombs dropped. He had felt guilty for making assumptions and apologized quickly and saying they were brave for making such an honorable sacrifice for their country. After that Sole was quick to be recruited into the ranks of the B.O.S, and had an advantage with their robotic like limbs especially when it came to shooting and hand to hand combat in close quarters ,and Danse greatly came to admire Sole’s skills as a knight and couldn’t be prouder of the work Sole and him accomplish together.

Elder Maxson: He thought highly of Sole because of what Paladin Danse had told him, and he was impressed that they had already fought in a previous war and even with their injuries had overcome them and continued to fight. He was proud of the work and accomplished Missions Sole and Danse completed together regularly and he regarded them as the best and most skilled team he ever had the pleasure of working with under his command as Elder. He only viewed Sole’s mechanical limbs as an advantage rather than a weakness or disability like most people had back in the old world before the bombs.

Curie(synth): Sole is the first person she has met with mechanical limbs and finds herself asking so many questions for research purposes of course! And because she can’t contain her own curiosity. Sole was a bit sheepish to admit they had lost their arm due to an attack by a bear when camping way back when with their former spouse. Curie was shocked and even more interested as she thought about how scary that must have been for Soul, and she tells them that she’s glad they lived from such an encounter. Soul is glad to but more so that it had been an old world bear and not one of these mutated one’s, if that had been the case they would have lost their head instead. Curie always offers to work on the arm to upkeep it’s maintenance so it never gets rusty and locks up when Sole needs it the most, which they always appreciate.  

Codsworth: Has always helped Sole out with their mechanical leg long before the bombs, and continues to in this new radiated world with the utmost care he can offer. Sole is always grateful for the help he gives and always trust him to be precise when tweaking out any problems with their leg and doing general maintenance work on it. Sole literally trust no one else to work on or even touch their leg, because they know someone else would just screw it up. It makes Codsworth happy that his Master places so much faith in him and he promises to always be here to help them whenever they require it.
