@achaziel Making me own post to talk about it too - literally SAME. I am watching Deep Space 9 with my partner and while I'm not one to back down from content that triggers me, there's been several episodes where it's gotten very difficult to keep watching. It doesn't help that a YouTuber I was watching who talks about Star Trek (Steve Shives) decided to compare us jews to the cardassians. Which is such an antisemitic, disgusting remark, not even regarding the parallels of the Cardassian Occupation to the Holocaust.

#and i cannot get that remark out of my head. it is so grotesquely tone-deaf and racist #its so antisemitic and fucking INACCURATE to the actual G*ddamned history of our people #of whats happening now. the bajorans are not comparable to palestinians. cardassians especially not to jews. let alone how horrific it is #to compare us to fucking LIZARD PEOPLE. how ridiculously antisemitic do you have to be to not see the issue #it just sickens me how Pervasive antisemitism is in every space. especially fucking Star Trek which has A SHIT TON OF JEWISH INVOLVEMENT.#SPOCK WOULD FUCKING HATE THESE PEOPLE.#i do not want to see ANY GOYIM use the 'live long and prosper' hand sign that is OURS. that is JEWISH. leonard nemoy was A JEW.#sigh i know this also will be taken as 'jewish dramatics' but ffs if other minorities can express frustration #why the shit can't we at our garbage treatment.

If you guys need a reminder that fake leather sucks, here's a very annoying thing that happened to me today. I was going through my cosplay closet and found out my Mami Tomoe cosplay I made 8 years ago just decomposed. The whole skai part of it had turned into plastic flakes.

My first reaction was to throw the whole thing away, but I ended up changing my mind and I'm going to replace the rotten parts with better fabric (probably cotton).

#why can't I let go of things 😅#i keep saying I need to stop cosplay because it's a very wasteful hobby #and yet I am already working on my next project #at least this will be an outfit I can wear casually #i have wanted a dramatic trench coat for a while #i would have made it black but I think beige is actually a better idea #my closet is full of outfits and wigs and stuff and I will fill a full garbage container the day I move out #but despite the guilt I am really attached to each of these costumes #I've been a cosplayer for almost 12 years

HHNGNGAUUGHHGHAHHHAAUUUGHHHHHHHHHH QUEST SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT

AGUGHUGHHGH HE'S SO CUTEEEEE I WANNA SQUISH HIS CHEEKS SO BADDDDDDDD

man i didn't realize how much i've missed him. even without my bias Childe's such a fun character and has room for so many cool interactions. i wasn't surprised at all when he got arrested that seems like a very Childe thing to do, also the fact that he was going to ACCEPT THE CHARGES IN ORDER TO DUEL CLORINDE HE'S SO FUNNY. i've been using the korean dub lately and all the VAs did a phenomenal job too, Childe getting dragged off to literal prison is the most hysterical thing EVER

also ok, hear me out. i know Childe attributed his mood swings and the loss of control over his Vision to his connection to the Abyss, but honestly my mind immediately went to the Sinthe potion, since one of the side effects is losing control of emotions which might be tied to his Vision. not sure which one it'll end up being but either way it'll be interesting!!

i have one complaint about the Archon Quest tho and that comes with Childe's fight scene

we were so close. SO CLOSE. TO A FOUL LEGACY TRANSFORMATION. WE WERE SO CLOSE TO SEEING MOTH AGAIN AND THEN NEUVILLETTE JUST HAD TO STEP IN AND BETRAY ME. HE JUST HAD TO RESTORE ORDER DIDN'T HE!!!! I'VE BEEN DENIED MOTH YET AGAIN AND ONE IS SO FUCKING MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MISS HIM SO MUCH GODDAMMIT AND WE WERE SO CLOSE BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

nothing against Neuvillette obviously, i know he lowkey had to knock Childe out but MAN i have been moth-deprived for so long and i am In Agony

and yes the Archon Quest made me come up with a bunch of brainrot for Childe and Foul Legacy what about it

#genshin spoilers #wifi plays genshin #chit chat #anon #both acts were fantastic #in terms of enjoyment they might beat sumeru for me #i feel like sumeru's storyline is a bit more streamlined and consistent but fontaine is so dramatic that i can't help but be invested #focalors' entrance was amazing and definitely something she would do #all the characters were charming and i liked all of them which i was not expecting!#plus swimming has been so fun i love underwater levels and so far the mechanics are insanely smooth compared to other games i've played #(sky cotl i love you but i am garbage at using your controls)#i have two requests for the next archon quests and they're 1. Foul Legacy appearance and 2. let us break Childe out of prison <33 #this has given me so much brainrot #like imagine if Childe DID transform and you run in and calm him down???#that'd be SO CUTE #especially if Foul Legacy is affected by the mood swings too but around you he feels at peace #also i've never wanted to swim more with Foul Legacy than in Fontaine #those underwater levels are gorgeous #anyways how are you all enjoying the update!! what's your favorite part or character so far!!#good evening :)
