still can't believe that skyfall had a whole thing about the changing eras and some subtext about how cyber warfare is the next battlefield to conquer and then the sequel movie was called spectre* and it just completely fucked over all of that nuance for a plot that feels like a fever dream I had once

like. that one person wrote the most annoying spn media analysis and dean fans ran too hard with it and completely overlooked the actual parts that make him compelling in the narrative by inventing a completely new guy to avoid looking too hard at a really fascinating and thorny tangle of a character. none of these people would survive mad men, and I know this for a fact because I followed spn blogs that were dean girls that thought mad men was too gross. like. come ON. the THEMES. you should be LOVING this. cowards.
