i'm going to be completely honest i think the bigger issue is the most of you can only conceptualize an "artist" as someone who makes 10 figures on patreon drawing voltron yaoi or whatever and not people who like. live off paycheck to paycheck, working for a boss they hate, who's constantly at risk of being layed off because they're seen as replaceable and interchangeable. like literally every other working class person.

#it's mallory im thinking about mallory but also the. again. weird brother stuff going on in spectre.#the leaked draft for that movie was so much ballsier and quite frankly. WAY more satisfying like yeah actually you should kill#your brother. the only thing that would've made it better is if james finished him off by saying the bitch is dead casino royale style#HOWEVERRRRrrRRRRRrrrrrr. the maze sequence through the guts of the MI6 building? that was beautiful. stunning. gorgeous#no idea why the entire movie wasn't done like that after the all killer no filler opening but hey. what can you do but dream!#also swann was a much more interesting character in the draft than she ended up being on screen and for that i want to fight#whichever person made the worse editing choices. hand to hand combat style or something#i will pull my punches for having a good stance on state surveillance given the US/UK surveillance reveals during the year#preceeding the movie's release. but also i will bring a chair.#a james bond film! having a stronger stance on privacy than the democratic party of america! who'd've thought!

god I just wrapped up watching ep VIII of black sails. god. GOD.
