aftg floor plans
not that anyone asked but the way my brain works means that any time i read anything, i am piecing together every room, every house, and every space. i need to create an image in my head so i can see the characters in it and see how they interact with the space. except it’s always vague and sometimes a throw-away line places a window or a wall where i didn’t think it was and i have to redo the entire space in my head…… it’s a struggle but after so many times rereading aftg, i have a pretty solid idea
this is just a long way of saying i have decided to take what’s in my head and make it into reality and i have made floor plans for aftg lol
so far, i have done the foxes’ dorm (both how i think the entire floor is laid out and each of their three rooms), wymack’s apartment, and abby’s house. i plan on doing the cali places later, don’t even worry
Tumblr media
of course tumblr is corrupting the quality but in my head there are five rooms to each side of the hall and the stairs are right next to the monsters' room. that stray white box is an elevator supposedly.... i had no idea how or where the elevator should be so i just kinda threw it there, don't laugh. and we know the soccer kids live on their floor so they have the rooms across the hall
Tumblr media
i placed everything based on descriptions gathered from the first four books (thank you jean for telling us they do in fact have stoves even if they are just two burners). i gave kevin's desk an extra monitor to watch games on lol and andrew has to be by a window to smoke out of it. also, the beds are bunked. i know this looks big but it was hard to get the spacing right..........
Tumblr media
for the girls, i mirrored the monsters' room because i know that piping tends to make apartments laid out so kitchens or bathrooms are back to back with your neighbors. they also get a fancy extra chair and a bigger tv bc allison is rich and you can't tell me their room wouldn't have the nicest furniture. i feel like dan would have the bottom bunk, renee the top, and allison the lone lofted bed but that's just me lol
Tumblr media
we know matt and neil shoved their three desks by the windows and in my head, matt and neil's bunk is on the left while seth's lofted bed is on the right. and matt and neil have their dressers underneath seth's bed and his is by the window
Tumblr media
this was actually interesting because we know that the front door is out of sight from the doorway of the study and that there are windows in the living room so i put in this turn to the hall. again, the space looks huge here but that's mainly because i didn't want to have to shrink and rearrange all the walls over and over again
Tumblr media
abby's was the hardest by far. i went back and scoured the books for more information about her house because i was struggling and have struggled with it since my first read through. we know that there is a doorway to the kitchen (so i couldn't give her the open floor plan i wanted) and that the bedroom jean stayed in was just down the hall from the bathroom. i ended up giving abby her own master bath just because i felt like it but i have no idea if that is canon. and the hall bath seemed too large so i put in a laundry room randomly but whatever. we also know she has a two car driveway so i made the shape of the house a little funky. and in my head, during summer break aaron and nicky stay in one bedroom and andrew and kevin are in the other one. i put kandrew in the bedroom down the hall because it is farther from the front door and andrew would like that imo. that is also the bedroom jean is in after renee takes him from evermore. and of course she needed a huge dining room table to fit everyone
ANYWAY, if you made it this far i am surprised and thank you for entertaining this. i can also share all the passages i used to piece together these floor plans cause they are all bookmarked but that felt like too much to include here and i doubt anyone cares. feel free to debate wall placements in the comments, i would love to talk to you about it as you can probably tell
and if literally anyone is interested, i can and will make these in the sims and then they will be real cute and colorful floor plans. i will probably do it anyway for my own enjoyment but whether i post them is up in the air

“Stop thinking of Lance's fat ass.” me:
“Hm,” Lance hummed. He jumped in place, tugging the pants up, but they refused to go up over his ass. And Lance scowled as he clenched his ass together and tried again, sucking in his stomach as well. The pants went up, reluctantly, and Lance inhaled a gasp.
“Lance?”
“Geez, Keith,” Lance complained. “Do you have like zero ass?” The pants were not comfortable in the least! While there was room around his thighs, there was absolutely none in the ass. Lance dreaded buttoning them up.
“You know,” Keith said, “my brother and I talked about it before we were born and we decided he would get all the ass and I would get all the brains.”
Lance turned an unamused look on the door that he wished Keith could see. Then Keith let out a loud snort and a laugh that startled Lance. He raised his eyebrows.
Did he really just snort like a complete dork at his own joke? Lance thought, amused and fond.
“Oh, man, I need to text that one to him,” Keith said. And what followed was the sound of a flip phone flicking open before Keith began to quickly click at the keys. “Seriously, though, probably not. I've been told I have the most unattractive ass in the world.”
“Well, that's harsh,” Lance said. “Your partners sound like assholes, not gonna lie.”
The jeans fit. A term Lance used very loosely, considering the only prerequisite was that the jeans buttoned up. They were absolutely squeezing the hell out of his ass.
“Maybe you can loosen them up,” Keith said. “Squat.”
“I don't think that's a good idea,” Lance said tightly.
“Go for it,” Keith egged him on.
Lance closed his eyes and squatted.
He felt the jeans give before he heard the threads tear, and he promptly covered his face in mortification.
“Oh, my god,” he whined. “Keith, I'm so sorry!”
Keith said nothing. Lance peered through his fingers to find Keith was covering his mouth, looking like he was trying really hard not to burst out laughing.
“Oh, don't you dare laugh!” Lance threatened.
A small snort left Keith, and he stifled the rest, shaking his head.
“I can't believe I tore your pants!” Lance said, covering his face again. He stood, grimacing. He twisted around and reached back to feel along the tear. It had split on the right side an inch or so from the seam. He winced.
Keith made a muffled concerned sound, and when Lance glanced back, he saw Keith was completely red in the face from trying to keep the laughter in.
“Oh, you're an asshole,” Lance said. “Don't laugh!”
Keith inhaled and held his breath, dropping his hand to breathlessly say, “I'm not laughing. It's just. I don't think any of my pants are gonna be big enough for your … um.” He covered his mouth again, disguising a few laughs as coughs.
“It's not my fault, okay!” Lance defended himself, distressed. “It's my mom! I ended up with her genes and now I'm stuck with this fat ass!”
Unable to hold it anymore, Keith burst out laughing, doubling over and holding onto his stomach as he wheezed.
“Stop laughing!” Lance said. “This is a crisis! I am having a crisis, Keith!”
“I'm sorry!” Keith gasped. “I'm sorry, it's just — you f-fucking ripped th — pfft — the pants!” He continued laughing, covering his face with one hand and holding his stomach with the other. He breathed in a gasp and said, laughing through his words, “I've never witnessed someone actually splitting their pants before! I thought it was just something that happened in cartoons and m-movies!”
And then he wheezed some more before Lance turned again to try and get a look. Keith snorted hard, and Lance looked over at him just in time to watch him go mute with laughter. Keith turned so red that Lance stopped feeling offended, genuine concern rising.
“Breathe, Keith!” he said, nudging him.
Keith laughed like he was in pain. Lance bent to meet him and said, “Hey, Keith, what if we kissed?”
Keith coughed and choked, gasping for breath. He stared at Lance with wide eyes as the laughter died a sudden death. He was panting, chest heaving, his skin returning to its original color.
“What?” Keith squeaked, his voice going so high-pitched that Lance had to fight his own snort of laughter.
“You okay?” Lance said. “Sorry, I figured shocking you would help you stop laughing before you died from lack of air.”
Keith straightened, running a hand through his hair and laughing weakly.
“Good thinking,” Keith said. He looked around distractedly. “Uh, I don't think any of my pants will fit you. You brought a pair, right?”
Lance sighed, pouting a little as he nodded.
“Yeah,” he said. He left the room, hearing Keith wheeze a little when he undoubtedly caught sight of the tear Lance could feel on his cotton-covered cheeks.
“Oh, my god,” Keith said.
“Don't you start laughing again,” Lance said as he retrieved his jeans from his bag. “Next time, I'll kiss you.”
As he expected, Keith choked and did not laugh.

How the LADS men react to their gf showing physical affection, who is a bit scared to show affection
Tumblr media
A/N: a post with all the lads boys this time...hopefully I did them justice
Tags/warnings: she/her pronouns used (should i try using gender neutral terms?), s/o has a little fear of vulnerability (can you see a pattern haha), s/o in raf's may be a bit too specific (she is described to have a passion for music), fluff <3
₊˚ ‿︵‿︵‿︵୨୧ · · ♡ · · ୨୧‿︵‿︵‿︵ ˚₊
Rafayel
Music softly filled the living room of the artist's house. A classic played, one of Beethoven's symphonies. Rafayel always experimented painting with different music playing, seeing what emotions it could evoke. His girlfriend loved that about him, as she had a passion for music. She smiled softly as she stood in the hallway. Rafayel sat on a stool, his back to her, an easel and canvas in front of him, a brush slowly moving across it. Y/n didn't want to interrupt, really. But a recent breakdown has caused the couple to have a conversation and she promised she would try to be more vulnerable with him. Even though it scared her. She wanted to start small. Right now she really really wanted a hug from her boyfriend. That shouldn't be too much to ask.
Nervously, she made her way into the room and approached Rafayel. She hesitated for a moment, but continued. “Cutie?” Rafayel questioned, hearing footsteps, but not turning to look or stop his painting. Y/n said nothing and waited for his brush to finish the stroke before nervously wrapping her arms around him, placing her head onto his back. She felt extremely embarrassed. There was no reason to. This was Rafayel. Her Rafayel. Her boyfriend. The man let out a soft gasp in surprise and tensed up. “Wha- you-” he spluttered.
“Wan’ a hug,” she mumbled into his back. It took Rafayel a moment to process, not used to the sudden display of affection from his lover. When his brain began to work again, his heart soared. He placed his pallet and brush down before turning around and wrapping his arms around her, squeezing her almost too much with a happy giggle. “Mmm. What should I do? This painting has to be done by tomorrow, but my baby needs my cuddles,” he sighed. Y/n tried to back away, not wanting to harm his work. Her ears still burned with embarrassment and she was sure her face matched. Maybe this was all a bad idea. Rafayel wouldn't let her break away, pulling her closer.
“Sorry, I'll-” she began, but was interrupted by Rafayel quickly dropping his arms to hold her thighs and lift her into his arms.
“Ah well, what can you do,” he sang. Y/n glanced up at him to see a huge, dorky smile on his face. “Feels even better when you initiate a hug then me hugging you,” he admitted. The girl felt her face flush again and she hid her face in his neck. “Cute,” he pressed a kiss to her hair. “But seriously, I know that was hard for you. I admire your vulnerability. And of course I will happily cuddle you for the rest of the night! Should we head to bed early or watch that movie you wanted?” The girl was speechless and just shrugged, making him laugh. “Aww is my cutie still embarrassed? There's nothing to be embarrassed about.” She whined in response. She felt her weight shift as Rafayel sat down on his couch. Rafayel hummed. “Can I make you be a bit more vulnerable and give me a kiss?” He asked. Y/n sighed and took a brief moment to breathe before lifting her face to look at him. She quickly kissed his lips before returning to her hiding spot. Rafayel couldn't hold back his laugh, holding her tightly as he shook with laughter.
Minutes later, she heard the TV turn on, the pre-movie credits playing. Rafayel moved his girlfriend somewhat begrudgingly, so that she was now sitting next to him, her legs across his lap. She looked at him confused. He nodded towards the TV. “Kind of hard for you to watch if you're just pressed against my chest, no?” He asked, moving his arm to wrap around her back, the other reaching for her hand and placing a kiss on it. “And don't worry, I'll definitely be getting my real kiss later. As many as I want,” he winked at her. Safe to say he did not complete his painting that night, which wasn't abnormal for the artist. He had more important things to do.

Sylus
The Onychinus base was dark. A few lights leading y/n to the boss. Sylus was in his study, working on something. She wasn't sure what, but she didn't intend to stay long. It weighed heavily on her mind that she never initiated any physical contact with Sylus, her boyfriend. He hadn't said anything, but she had been in her head about it. If she were dating someone and they never initiated anything, she'd think they didn't really like her. She didn't want Sylus to think that. The problem was she's not good at initiating contact. It terrifies her. So even when she wanted to, she held back. But after thinking, she decided she would initiate physical contact, no matter how scary. Starting small of course. Today's plan of action? A hug before she went off to bed. It wasn't unusual for her to say goodnight to the man, but he was always the one to wave her over to hug or kiss her. Tonight she wasn't going to let him.
The girl softly knocked on the door, opening it slowly and peeking in. Sylus’s brow raised, pleased by the sudden interruption. He looked down at his watch, unaware of his girlfriend swiftly making her way across the room. He opened his mouth to speak, but was shocked by how close she now was. Wordlessly, she climbed into his chair with him, sitting on his lap and wrapping her arms around him. “Just wanted to say goodnight,” she whispered. Y/n wanted to sound confident, but her voice betrayed her, shaking slightly. Sylus smiled, his large hands resting on her back. “This is quite the surprise,” Sylus began, not wanting to push her too far. Of course he had noticed his girlfriend's behavior. He could tell when she wanted a hug or kiss, but then did nothing about it. He didn't say anything, not wanting to push her and trusting she would when she was ready. It didn't bother him that she never kissed him. It bothered him that she wanted to kiss him, but didn't. Sylus was determined to do everything in his power to let you be comfortable to take what you wanted from him. “I always come say goodnight,” y/n tried to play off the action. He chuckled.
“Yes, and I love that. But,” he hesitated, unsure how to put his feelings into words that wouldn't hurt her unintentionally. “You never do this. Not that I mind. I'm happy you're finally taking what you want from me.”
“Can I take more?” She quietly asked.
“You can take anything and everything from me,” he replied.
“Come to bed? At least for a little bit. I know you have work to do, but-” she was cut off by Sylus standing, carrying her to his bedroom. He placed her down gently, tucking her into bed before getting in next to her and wrapping his arms around her again, her head tucked into his neck. He lifted her head and pressed a slow kiss to her lips, appreciating her actions. “Take whatever you want. Goodnight, love.”

Xavier
Y/n paced back and forth in her apartment. She had woken up in the middle of the night, a nightmare interrupting her sleep. What had caused her to pace however, was a decision she had to make. Her dreams had been plagued with memories of what happened to her grandmother, her death anniversary coming up. When she woke up, she felt horribly lonely and the thought of her boyfriend a few apartments down almost made it worse. She was an adult, she could handle a little nightmare and just go back to bed. Or she could get in the elevator and go see Xavier. He wouldn't mind, right? But her boyfriend loved his sleep. Like a lot. She didn't want to interrupt that. Plus he had just gotten back from a mission, only texting to let her know he got back safe and was headed to bed. She decided she could be stealthy enough, putting on some slippers and heading out the door.
The building was quiet, which made sense because it was the middle of the night. But it was cold and y/n regretted not grabbing a coat, only in her pj's. The elevator seemed to move slower and she wondered if she should just turn around and deal with this alone as she always had. But the last time she had a nightmare, Xavier happened to be over and she told him she would come to him if it happened again. She technically already broke that promise, having a similar dream soon after but dealing with it alone. This one however, felt more intense. She would not be getting any sleep after it. The bell dinged and she excited the elevator, walking over to his apartment.
She didn't bother knocking, just using the spare key he gave her and opening the door suddenly. She was a bit surprised to see her boyfriend asleep on the couch- his arm draping off the side. This presented a new problem. He was clearly so tired after the mission, he passed out on the couch, still wearing his uniform. Y/n bit her lip in thought. Her original plan was to just get into bed next to him and sleep, but that wasn't possible with him on the couch. She'd have to wake him up. She'd have to tell him about her nightmare and that she wanted to stay with him. It was too much. As she turned to leave, she was stopped. “Is that you y/n?” Xavier had spoken through a yawn. “Are you okay?” Her hand froze on the doorknob of his door, not knowing if she should book it or not. But she wanted to get some rest. She wanted her boyfriend's comfort.
“I had another nightmare,” y/n finally said, turning around to see her boyfriend now sitting up on the couch. He smiled sleepily at her. “Mm come to bed with me. Too cold to sleep alone anyway,” he stood, stretching. She nodded and walked over to him, unable to hold back and hugging him. He held her back, saying nothing even when he felt a few hot tears fall on his shoulder. “You're okay now. Thank you for coming to me,” he whispered to her. She nodded and backed away. Xavier gently wiped her face with his fingers. “Let me change and I'll meet you in bed?” She nodded and they headed to his room.
Once in something more comfortable, Xavier got into his bed, spooning his girlfriend. He sighed happily, nuzzling into her neck. Y/n felt better. Warm. Being held by the one she loved most, she was able to find rest that night.

Zayne
When the door to his apartment opened, Zayne was greeted by his girlfriend wrapping her arms around him. He was a bit surprised, not expecting her to be there. He hugged her back, not letting go. He always made sure to not let go first, knowing his girlfriend. She struggled to show her affection, so when she did he made sure to not break away early, soaking up all the affection he could from her. Usually, her hugs were brief, but today's wasn't. She held onto him, breathing in his scent. Zayne hesitated for a moment on whether to let go. But decided against it, thinking there must be a reason. “You smell good,” y/n murmured.
“Is that so? I just got out of a five hour surgery,” he questioned. Maybe she believed she needed a reason to hug him longer than normal because he surely didn't smell good.
“Oh,” she hesitated, her excuse nullified.
“Is everything okay?” Zayne softly asked.
“Yeah, I just,” she hesitated again. “Wanna hold you. I missed you.”
“I missed you too,” he smiled. “Not that I want to let you go, but what is that smell?”
“Oh, I cooked you some dinner. I figured you'd be hungry.”
“You didn't have to do that.”
“I know,” she replied, breaking away from the hug to look at him and smile. “I just wanted to. I figured we could eat and then watch a movie tonight?”
“Sounds lovely. Let me go wash up,” he smiled at her before disappearing into his room. Y/n moved to his kitchen, playing the food she had prepared for them. Nothing fancy, but tasty nonetheless. Zayne had returned unnoticed, only making himself known when he wrapped his arms around her, leaning forward to place a kiss on her cheek. The two said nothing, only swaying in the kitchen to unheard music. “The foods gonna get cold,” y/n warned. Zayne sighed, but agreed, releasing her to sit down and eat.
Zayne has refused to let y/n do the dishes after they had finished. Arguing that she had done so much to prepare it, it was only fair he cleaned up. She eventually listened, going to set up the movie in the living room. He joined her, sitting down next to her and grabbing a side blanket- her favorite. Even though she bought the blanket for him to “liven up his house”, she used it anytime she came over, snuggling into it. When the movie began, Zayne watched as his girlfriend excitedly cuddled up to him, pulling the blanket onto them both. They were quiet for a while, enjoying each other's company and the movie. The movie had slowed, the plot not being very intense. “You know you don't have to do all of this to cuddle with me,” Zayne whispered to her. She nodded, blushing slightly.
“I know. I wanted to. It somehow makes it easier than outright asking for you to hold me. That still scares me,” she admitted.
“Well first off, thank you for the dinner and everything. It was very nice. Second, you don't have to say anything or do anything grand. You can just pull me down here to the couch or bed and I'll happily hold you as long as you need. I know you show your love through actions, so I'm not saying to stop doing that. I'm just saying it's not necessary or a prerequisite to physical touch,” he explained. She nodded and looked at him with a smile.
“I know, promise. It's nice to hear I don't have to get to the point of straight up asking you for what I want though. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough.”
“And if not, that's okay. I like to think I know you pretty well and can understand your hints no matter how small.”
“Oh really? Then what do I want right now?” She asked, eyes sparkling.
“A kiss,” he answered simply, leaning in to do just that. When he pulled back, he noticed her face erupted into a cute blush. “Was I wrong?” He asked. She shook her head, embarrassed that he truly had known. No one else had ever paid that much attention to her. “I love you Zayne,” y/n told him.
“And I love you too.”

Caleb
It was surprising to y/n that she struggled to be “touchy feely” with her current boyfriend. They were childhood friends after all. She was more comfortable with him than anyone, even after everything that happened. Caleb never said anything about it, probably knowing she had this struggle with everyone. He never pushed it either. To him, that's just his girlfriend. She's everything he's ever wanted and more. Sure, she struggles to be a bit vulnerable and come to him for a hug or cuddle or kiss, but that was okay. He was happy to initiate all of that. But for y/n, it was something that made her insecure. In relationships, you were supposed to hug and kiss and sure she and Caleb did, but she never kissed him. She had hugged him plenty of times, but holding his hand and kissing him was another story. She wanted to, of course, they were dating now. But it terrified her for some reason. The judgement from others maybe was part of it, another that for some reason if she initiated anything Caleb would be disgusted with her. She knew it was irrational, but that didn't make it any easier.
Today was one of the rare days they both had off and Caleb was in town. They had spent most of the day indoors, playing games, ordering food and spending time with each other. But after a while, they got a little stir crazy and decided to head to a nearby park to go on a little walk and then maybe grab some dinner. The sun was out and it overall was a beautiful day. They walked down the path, chatting and messing around with each other. Y/n had run ahead, telling Caleb that he was still the slowest person ever. When he caught up, her heart thumped in her chest, more so due to nerves than the exercise. She tried to be as natural as possible as she grabbed his hand next to hers, holding it and swinging it slightly by her side. She said nothing. She couldn't even look at him, suddenly finding the trees around them to be the most interesting thing she's ever seen. But the flush of her cheeks told a different story.
When Caleb felt his girlfriend's soft fingers hold his, he thought his heart would combust. He immediately turned to her, to find her blushing and looking away. He was shocked, knowing that this was something that was hard for her. He always said that it was okay she never held his hand out kissed him and he really thought that. But now he wasn't so sure he could go back. “Someones gotten braver,” he commented, making her pout.
“It's just hand holding,” she muttered, moving their hands in front of them so they could see their hands intertwined. “Oh really? But you've never grabbed mine before,” he reasoned. She dropped their hands back to their sides.
“Yeah well, a lot has changed,” she shrugged, trying to play it cool. Caleb laughed at her. “I returned almost a year ago and we started dating soon after. And only now you take my hand?” He teased. “Something big must have changed in the past two weeks.”
“Yep,” she agreed, not breaking her act. “So much has changed that I can even do this.” She suddenly stopped walking and pressed a kiss to his lips. Caleb froze and she took the opportunity to let go of his hand and run away. When he returned to reality, he heard her laughing, his personal favorite song as she ran away from him. “Don't think you can get away with that!” He called after her, running to catch up, a huge grin on his face.

Dense // Simon "Ghost" Riley x Reader
Summary: A pretty little thing like you isn't flirting with Ghost? Are you?
Based off a prompt that's been a worm in my brain since 8th grade (I'm 25 now) and I'm probably going to write the same exact thing from the other POV.
TW: none, just a little fluffy hopefully funny insight into Simon's thought process.
Tumblr media
God, Lieutenant Riley was dense.
That's what most people thought after watching him interact with you for longer than three minutes at a time. You'd been working in communications for two years now, mostly dealing with Captain Price but Ghost was always lurking around somewhere nearby. You'd been warned to avoid him.
He's mean, He's surly, he'll bite your head right off. He's dangerous blah blah blah...
What they didn't consider was that he was a tree of a man- tall, dark, and mysterious with pretty eyes. And you had little to no survival instincts when it came to a man who knew how to shut the fuck up.
It was obvious to anyone who watched you interact with him for any amount of time. How you stood closer to him than need be, how you watched him through your lashes when he spoke his few words to you, the way your voice changed when you spoke to him. Then it was the little touches and little gifts, sitting with him at empty tables when others would turn and walk the other way. You were so sweet on him, maybe even smitten with him.
Ghost never seemed to notice, and if he did he didn't pay it much mind. Just assumed you were just one of those chatty and nice people he seemed to attract every now and then- like Price or Soap. It didn't hurt either that you were sweet & pretty & and smelled good... no, didn't hurt at all and certainly didn't mean anything.
He brushed off Johnny and Gaz's teasings, met Price's knowing looks with icy glares. You definitely weren't flirting with him. There was no way someone like you was pursuing someone like him romantically. That was... ridiculous. Right?
Still. Something about that idea scratched his brain just right. Planted a seed that you unknowingly watered with sweet smiles and bright eyes. So, he started paying more attention.
You never got Price's attention by lingering a small, warm hand on the Captain's bicep- but you did with Ghost. You were chatty with Gaz, but never so much so that you made yourself late to other engagements- Ghost was losing track of the times you'd been chatting at with him only to look at your watch and scurry off with hot cheeks. And Soap could make you laugh, but he never got your cheeks to turn that pretty pink color- Ghost rarely saw you without rosy cheeks. Hmmm... Interesting.
So, he watched and observed (pined and yearned, more accurately). Until one day when he noticed how you flipped your hair over your shoulder as you spoke to him, direct eye contact through fluttering lashes, the dilation of your eyes.
"You have such pretty eyes-" You barely finished your statement before he interjected. He cut you off before you could even giggle, voice stern and hard and quick as those pretty dangerous eyes narrowed in a way that would have chased anyone else off. Not you though.
"Are you flirting with me?"
He asked, taking a looming step closer to you where you were standing by the breakroom coffee machine. He expected you to stutter out an excuse or apologize, or even frantically excuse yourself. He did not expect you to sigh, almost in relief(?) with that bright smile of yours.
"I have been for the last two years." You breathe in admittance, "But thanks for noticing now."
Bloody hell, you were trying to kill him.
----
I wrote this instead of paying attention in lecture

‘Come on up. Room 322.’
His thumbs hang limply over the phone screen, his brain going blank.
When he sent the text ten seconds earlier to let you know he’s arrived he figured you would meet him down in the lobby or at the hall.
Meeting you in the hotel room is a problem he anticipated when he gave himself a pep talk before leaving.
“She’s your best friend. Don’t do anything stupid…like go to the hotel room.”
His fingers finally start to move over the letters. ‘I can meet you down here…’
But maybe you need help with something?
He deletes the text, now typing, ‘is there anyone with you?,’ but that just sounds weird and possessive.
‘I can see you typing,’ you text. ‘Just come up. I need help.’
With a laugh, he deletes everything again and types simply, ‘be right there doll.’
His long legs carry him quickly to the elevator and when he presses the button for the third floor he takes a deep breath, his pulse climbing it’s way up his throat.
Tumblr media
The door to your room is propped open with the dead bolt, but he knocks anyway.
“Come in Buck!”
Pushing it open just enough to peek his head in, he calls out, “I could be anyone, and you just invite me in without checking!”
“You just texted me you were coming up,” you sing from the bathroom, quickly continuing before he can say more, “and most of the people on his floor are friends or relatives here for the wedding.”
“Well, I’m glad to know you take your safety as seriously as I do,” he shouts back.
Your voice gets louder as you walk into the bedroom. “With you around I never have to worr…”
You stop for a breath when you see him, but your next words are lost to the blank void of his brain as he takes in your dress and how you look in it. To put it simply- stunning.
“Bucky?”
He startles, having no idea how long he’d been silent.
“Yeah doll…that’s…I’m here.”
When he finally drags his eyes to your face, you’re fighting a smile. “I asked if you could help me?”
“Oh, right. Sure. With what exactly?”
He cringes but steps closer.
“My dress?”
You turn around to show him the fabric at the back that hangs open, a tiny zipper dangling down at your lower back.
Trying to suppress a groan, but not being entirely successful he swallows hard. “That zipper looks very tiny.”
“It is,” you agree. “I realize I should have asked someone with smaller hands to help me out, but everyone is running around with their own nonsense so here we are.”
He approaches with a casual, “sure, of course doll.”
But then he does something without fully realizing it until the shiver runs along your back: he drags a knuckle down the curve of your spine.
You turn and look at him over your shoulder.
He just blinks and looks down to grab the zipper, mumbling about how small it is.
It’s quiet as he carefully pulls the zipper up and when he reaches the top he lets it fall and gently runs a finger along the top of the dress as he moves around to look at you.
“All set,” he whispers.
You smile and clear your throat before giving him an appreciative once over.
“You look hot.”
“Thanks doll. You…” and he struggles when his voice comes out a bit strangled, “you look breathtaking.”
You reach up and touch his bow tie, pulling at the neatly tied ends as you tell him, “I was hoping you’d arrive a flustered mess over how to tie this so I could do it for you.”
With a grin, he reaches up and tugs the end, untying it in a smooth pull.
“Figure you should do something in return after I battled that zipper,” he teases.
Still smiling, you take a hold of the tie, tugging it to align the ends evenly around his neck. “I didn’t get the impression it was such a hardship.”
His answering smirk is so telling you have to stifle a laugh.
“Are you feeling ready for this? I know these big events aren’t your favorite.”
“I’ll manage just fine doll, thanks. Besides, I’ve got the most beautiful date in the whole place.”
With your focus still on his bow tie he takes the opportunity to openly stare. When you smile at his sweet words he’s mesmerized by the way your soft lips part and his eyes stay glued to your mouth.
You look up to meet his gaze and he quickly lifts his eyes, a light pink sweeping across his cheeks.
You blink away and he looks down at your hands, noting the very little progress you’ve made.
“Do you have any idea what you’re doing?”
“Well…yes. I’m sure I can…”
“You’ve never done this before, have you?”
“You might be right!,” you quip, “but I’m no quitter.”
He’d be happy to stand there all night.
You finally step back, surveying your work, and frown. “I’m going to be honest, not sure I made it look as good as you did.”
He looks down and undoes the mess and you glower as he handily fixies it.
“Wow, no need to gloat you butthead.”
He lets out a full-bodied laugh, eyes crinkled, and nose scrunched, and you enjoy the sight before he explains, “I’ve done it a million times. I’m always the one in the tux when we go undercover.”
“That’s because you’re the one that looks the best.”
“Thanks doll,” he answers quietly.
Tumblr media
“There are so many people here,” you whisper as you lead him through the crowd in the hall.
He let’s out a low whistle, nodding in agreement and aking in the décor.
You greet people as you walk, introducing Bucky to those that don’t already know him. Their eyes follow you, curiosity piqued in their expression as they wonder who he is to you.
You wonder the same. Your favorite person in the world. Your best friend…and so much more?
You take his elbow and guide him forward toward the outside set up where the ceremony will take place. On the way you find your grandmother and introduce him.
Since he can’t take his eyes off you he notices the subtle shift in your demeanor, the softening of your face and the adoration in your eyes.
He expects a gentle handshake but instead gets pulled in for a hug.
“Oh darling, isn’t he a sight,” you grandma says, patting Bucky’s cheek. “And you,” she says, turning her eyes your way. “Gorgeous.”
“Thanks grandma,” you beam.
A woman whizzes by, catching your eye and pointing to her watch.
“Looks like it’s time,” you announce.
Bucky holds out one arm for your grandma and the other for you.
“And a gentleman too,” your grandma gushes as she loops her arm through his. “Definitely a keeper.”
“You can keep grandma company,” you say as you approach the chairs.
“Of course, doll,” he says and leans in to kiss your cheek before helping your grandma into her seat.
“I’ll see you after the ceremony.” You gather your dress and turn to head back inside to meet the wedding party. “Miss me,” you call over your shoulder with a playful smile.
He stares as you walk away, quietly admitting, “I already do.”
Slight nerves take over when you hear the music start but the moment you walk out into the crowd your eyes zero in on Bucky. And what do you know? He’s looking right back at you…and he doesn’t take his eyes off you the whole ceremony.
Tumblr media
After the ceremony it takes forever to work your way through the crowd to him, and in between catching up with friends and family or directing someone somewhere, you catch glimpses of him smiling and laughing with your grandma and happily keeping her company.
When you finally do reach him, your grandma has been safely escorted to her seat and now a woman hangs off his arm- Jessica. You know her, an old family friend, and you like her well enough, but you step up behind them right as she asks Bucky if she can steal him for the first dance, and your stomach drops.
You jerk to a stop. He hasn’t seen you. He should accept. You’ll hate it, but you’re not in any position to protest.
But then Bucky says only a gentle, “sorry, no can do. Tonight, I’ve only got one dance partner.”
Your heart nearly leaps out of your chest, and you step closer, swallowing down the emotion.
“Hey you two!”
Bucky turns, extracting his arm from Jessica and setting a warm palm at your lower back.
“And here she is. My favorite dancing partner.”
Jessica leans around from his other side and says hello.
“Thanks for coming,” you tell her.
“Oh my god, of course. I wouldn’t miss it. And I was just meeting your friend, James, here.”
She emphasizes the word friend and at her usage of his real name you have to hold back a giggle.
“Isn’t he wonderful,” you hum, sliding your hand up his bicep. “He’s been keeping my grandmother company this whole time.”
She swoons and smiles at Bucky before turning back to you.
“He is. I just wasn’t expecting you to have a date. You’re usually always flying solo at these family events.”
You feel the smile slipping from your face and an uncomfortable laugh escapes.
The simple answer never comes to you, and you feel caught like a deer in the headlights.
“Actually, that’s only because I was away for work,” Bucky steps in smoothly. “I hate to miss any chance to be her date, but my schedule can be pretty demanding sometimes.”
“Oh, you’re so sweet,” Jessica says. “Work is important of course.”
“Yeah,” he answers, “but not as important as her. So, from now I won’t be missing another event.”
Jessica’s face does a thing. It’s a barely restrained, ‘oh okay, I see.’
Bucky’s smile remains but it doesn’t look entirely natural anymore but when he looks at you, every emotion on his face is genuine.
“Ready to find our seats doll face,” he asks you.
“Sure,” you reply.
“Well, it was nice to meet you Jennifer. Enjoy the party.”
With a firm hand, he leads you away. You allow yourself to be guided up the grassy path and indoors to where a band plays. Bucky grabs you two flutes of champagne off a passing tray and hands you one.
“That was swoony,” you tell him then take a sip.
“All I did was grab it from a tray doll. Time to raise your bar a bit.”
Laughing, you smack his beefy shoulder with your free hand. “Not that! The way you gently let Jennifer have it back there.”
He takes a sip, eyes on you. “She deserved worse, but I didn’t want to start trouble.”
With your brow raised you match his mischievous grin then you take his glass and set it down on one of the small tables, leading him to the dance floor.
He looks confused at first but when your hands slide up his chest and around his neck he circles his arms around your waist.
He relaxes against you, hands warm and strong on your lower back and you rest your cheek to his shoulder.
“You’re always so comfy.”
“Thank you.”
“And you always look out for me.”
He presses a kiss to your temple.
“Of course, doll.”
“You’re my favorite person in the Universe.”
He doesn’t respond at first, not for five or ten or thirty seconds. You keep waiting for the feeling of rejection in his silence but instead it feels like an agreement and finally his words confirm it.
“Mine too, doll.”
Tumblr media
Your quiet slow dance is the last moment alone you have for the next few hours because what follows is a whirlwind of a reception.
And the whole time he can’t take his eyes off you.
Tumblr media
“Think I’m ready to get out of here,” you say as you slump against his side.
He carefully holds you up as he stands and reaches to take your hand.
“Come on doll face. I’ll take you home.”
When you reach your apartment door your feet are aching, and your legs are tired. You retrieve your key from the hidden pocket in your small purse and slide it into the doorknob.
“I’m going to need you to unzip me,” you say, gesturing casually to your dress.
His silence makes you slowly turn around to face him and when you meet his eyes they’re heavy with heat and desire.
“Bucky?”
“Turn back around,” he says gruffly.
You do as your told and feel his exhaled puff of air against your bare shoulder before he takes your wrists in this hands and places your palms flat against the door. His metal fingers slide down one arm then trace the curve of your shoulder, while his other toys with the small zipper.
He starts to pull it down, so slowly, you feel every brush of his skin against yours and it sends a tremble across your body. For every new inch of your skin that he exposes his breath quickens. You can feel the heat of him so close and your fingers press into the hard wood of the door.
Once the fabric hangs loosely at the sides he stops and slips his hands inside to your waist and turns you back to face him.
“You’re so soft,” he murmurs. “I…”
You drag your fingers along his temple and down his jaw. Your finger falls to his bottom lip, tracing it’s outline.
You can see it in his eyes, the understanding that everything between you is easy and you don’t have to try. It’s too good.
Your gaze drops to his lips again and your mouth goes soft. “Kiss me Bucky.”
The words are just barely out of your mouth and he’s already leaning in, lips on yours, warm and urgent, his hands rising to cup your face. Your instincts send tight, possessive fists to the lapels of his jacket and you melt completely into the domination and tenderness in his touch.
With a quiet groan he tilts his head, deepening the contact into a decadent slide, sending a hungry hand down your body once again and grabbing your ass to press all your softness against the hard planes of his body.
He catches your bottom lip between his teeth, drags slowly away, and you chase the contact, but he stops you, pressing his thumb over your lips.
He stares for what feels like forever, then kisses you again, lingering before he murmurs, “you’re so beautiful,” into the sensitive skin below your ear, and then repeats it quietly into your neck.
“Are you going to stay the night?” you ask breathless.
“If you’ll have m…”
“Yes. Yes Bucky.”

MEAN SOMETHING — KOOK!READER
only one person knew how to handle your drunk best friend…
(drabble. © 2tarbell 2024)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
you were going to end rafe cameron.
on the one night, the one night, you wanted some alone time and to be away from the boys, he decided to get sloppy drunk. of course, your other best friends have no idea how to take care of a drunk person and you honestly wondered how they even took care of themselves. which left you to slide on some slippers and drive over.
now as you stood before the front door in your victoria’s secret yoga pants and pink sweater, waiting for topper to answer it, you wonder why you let yourself get pulled into shit like this.
it’s rafe, that’s why. that’s always the reason why.
the door swings open to reveal a frazzled topper and kelce, you would’ve laughed at them if you weren’t so pissed. they took in your attire, the prissiness still evident even your pajamas. but you looked slightly disheveled, something they didn’t see often. both boys snorted at the sight of your bunny slippers but you quickly cut them off.
“say anything and i’ll chop your dicks off. where is he?” you seethed.
your tone brooked no argument and they both stepped aside to let you sashay in. kelce had his keys in hand as he mumbled something about rafe being ‘in his room’ and ‘on the floor’.
god was really testing you tonight.
you shooed them away, locking up the door behind them and stomping up the stairs. just praying he wasn’t choking on his own vomit or something.
the sight that greeted you literally made you pause and take out your phone, nails tapping the screen as you took a picture. rafe cameron, laying on his back and seemingly enthralled by the ceiling fan. it was genuinely amusing and kind of adorable. but the bottle of whiskey sitting next to him reminded you of your duty.
“rafe. sit up.”
his head snapped up at your voice, a boyish grin on his lips. he looked younger when he was drunk, stress and age having melted away.
“heeey, baby, whaddaya doin’ hereee?” he slurred, a low rumbly version of his voice.
you stepped closer, standing over him. hands on your hips as you looked down at him. his eyes were hardly open but you didn’t miss how they trailed down your figure.
“making sure you don’t die — get up.” the words were sharp in attempt to make him seriously listen.
he giggled and sighed, pushing up to rest on his elbows. the movement had his head spinning but he didn’t give a shit. just needed a better look at his pretty best friend.
“oh, y’know it turns me on when y’talk to me like that…”
you poked his side with your foot a bit harshly. patience wearing thin, you glared down at him.
“you’re such a pain in my ass—“
“mmm, love your ass,” he hummed but then groaned when you kicked him again, harder.
“rafe, i am so serious right now—“
with a childish huff of annoyance, he lifted himself off the ground but then immediately flopped face first on his bed. small victories, small victories.
you were happy to see dumb and dumber had enough brains to leave a water bottle with him. you grabbed it off the nightstand and perched at the edge of the bed next to the drunken 6’2 baby. a delicate hand rubbed his back; despite being annoyed at him for getting this drunk, you were still worried.
“hey, babe, c’mon — turn over. you need to drink some water…”
rafe unceremoniously flipped over, long legs dangling off the side of the bed. he sat up slowly and groaned at each movement. the room was nonstop spinning, so he decided to focus on one thing: your face. a smile worked its way onto his lips before he could stop himself.
you looked so beautiful, all worried and doting on him. blue eyes stared at your features (like he didn’t already have them committed to memory). the tent in his pant caught your eye and he watched as your eyes rolled. despite the memories of nights spent tangled up with him, you couldn’t believe the audacity he had.
“no way you’re seriously hard right now—“
“mmm, can’t control it around you.”
his smirk was frustrating you, in more ways than one. no, you wouldn’t do anything while he was this drunk. he knows that. yet he still tries to lean up and—
the water bottle presses to his lips, you trying to ease him into drinking and ignoring the bulge you’ve become all too familiar with. his betrayed expression made you snicker. this wasn’t the time to let fantasies run wild. kicking off your slippers and tucking your legs beneath you, you leaned closer.
“c’mon, rafe,” your voice was sweet, so sweet. he couldn’t do anything but take large gulps of water, trying to please you. he was a dumbass but you smiled at his eager approach.
“okay, okay — slow down before you jus’ throw it all up…” the giggle you let out settled right into his bones. rafe found himself wondering why you were just friends. he thought that a lot lately.
“go out with me.”
he definitely thought he sounded more debonair than he did. in reality, half of the words he spoke just flowed into each other. but he kept that low drawl that always sent you reeling. you couldn’t do this, couldn’t approach that territory. not now. you’d be happy if you never did.
“rafe—“ you tensed up.
“no, seriously. you’re— you’re gorgeous and y’put up with me. i mean, c’mon—“
the deep sting to your heart wasn’t something new. but it felt stronger this time, more painful. with a sigh, you set the water back down on his nightstand, brushing his hair back as he continues to rant.
“i think we get along great. y’know y’ten times better than— than any other chick i’ve been with— shit, any chick on the island—“
a bittersweet smile graced your lips. rafe noticed they were devoid of any pink or gloss. you really got out of bed just to come and take care of him? that’s gotta mean something.
“c’mon, doll face… gimme a reason y’shouldn’t.”
his words trailed off into contented hums when you started to scratch his scalp. boys are so easy. but boys aren’t rafe.
“i’m a bitch.” the resignation in your voice was telling. being a bitch, being called one wasn’t something new to you. these days you accepted the word with pride, reclaiming it in a sense. but you knew rafe, kook boys, and hell even pogue boys didn’t want a bitch. you were too much for most people.
the scoff he let out made you smile, cheeks dimpling and fingers twisting his hair. he shook his head with a frown and rested a large hand on your waist.
“nooo, y’not.” the words punctuated with a squeeze.
“i am—“
rafe reached up and cupped the back of your neck, silencing any chance to speak or protest. you know what that touch meant: ‘i’m talking now’.
“you’re beautiful. and— and smart and good.” his whispered words are drunken and mumbled. but you felt like your heart might explode, a heat pushing through your veins and replacing the blood with rafe.
rafe, rafe, rafe.
“best girl i know... yeah?” he urges, squeezing the back of your neck. your heart thumps faster at the pressure. you nod, because what else can you do when he speaks to you like that?
with a satisfied hum, he smiles. the action completely softens his face and it blows you away every time. you’re pressed closer, leaning over him, and he’s staring at you like he can’t believe you’re real.
“that’s my girl…”
you can’t tell who leans in first, but soon you’re locking lips with your best friend. something that shouldn’t be familiar and exhilarating as it is, but continues to be every single time. the kiss that you share is more gentle than you two have ever been with each other. in your complicated relationship, it was always hot and rough.
but this… this was slow and comforting. he tasted like whiskey and you let your lips part just slightly, a tentative lick of his tongue into the warmth of your mouth made you feel weak.
rafe was alight with want. he’d always wanted you. wanted to be in your presence. wanted to hear your voice. wanted to have you beneath him. wanted to be beneath you. he wanted it all. maybe it was the whiskey talking, but nothing had ever felt more right than when your hand cupped his cheek and your lips where on his.
“you should sleep…” your voice was hardly recognizable, soft and hesitant against his lips. he didn’t have to to ask, you knew he wanted you to stay. and you know you couldn’t have left if you wanted to.
so, you let him wrap his arms around you and nestled into his neck. and when he starts to snore like he always denies he does, you felt like things might be okay. despite it all, he was gonna be your rafe.

Simon knew marriage came with adjustments, but nothing could have prepared him for life with a writer.
It wasn’t just the weird questions—though there were plenty of those—it was the way your mind never seemed to slow down. You’d be doing something completely normal, like folding laundry, and suddenly stop, eyes going distant.
He’d barely have time to ask what was wrong before you’d rush off to scribble something down, muttering about plot twists and character arcs.
Sometimes, he’d wake up in the middle of the night to find you sitting up in bed, phone screen lighting up your face as you frantically typed notes because “this idea can’t wait until morning.”
It meant half-finished coffee cups scattered around the house, abandoned when inspiration hit.
It meant narrating your own actions under your breath, like “she sighed, stretching her arms above her head” while actually doing it, which always made him raise an eyebrow.
And then there were the moments that made him question everything, like when you casually asked if he thought someone could realistically survive being shot twice in the chest or how long a body would take to decompose in a swamp. He used to answer with concern. Now, he barely looked up. “For a book?” “For a book.”
At first, he thought the strangest part was the research, but then he realized it was how easily you pulled him into it. You used him for everything—testing out fight scenes by making him grab your wrist so you could figure out how a character would escape, running your hands over his shoulders and down his arms as you mumbled about muscle structure and “what kind of build do you think my main guy should have?”
You studied him constantly, stealing phrases he said, describing his expressions in your notes, even admitting once that a few of your male characters had a bit of his attitude.
And then there was the way you used him for other inspiration. He figured it out one evening when he saw you sitting on the couch, staring at him with that look—one that usually meant you had something on your mind, but this time, you weren’t saying anything. Just watching.
He glanced over from where he was cleaning his gun. “What?”
You didn’t answer right away, just tilted your head slightly. “I think I want to write a new scene.”
He raised his brow, setting his things aside. “What kind of scene?”
A small smile played on your lips as you stood, walking toward him. “Something a bit messy.”
Simon leaned back, arms resting lazily on the couch as he looked you up and down. “You need details, then?”
“Mhm.” You straddled his lap, fingers toying with the hem of his shirt. “Need to get it just right.”
He smirked, his hands settling on your waist. “That why you’re lookin’ at me like I’m about to be put to work?”
“You don’t mind a little hard work, do you?” you teased, nails scraping lightly against his skin.
His grip tightened, voice low. “Not if you’re gonna make it worth my while.”
Much later, when you were tangled in the sheets, catching your breath, you rolled over and reached for your phone. Before you could even unlock it, a strong arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you back against Simon’s chest. “Nope,” he muttered against your shoulder.
You laughed. “I just had a thought—”
“Don’t care.” His voice was warm and heavy with sleep. “Whatever you’re about to write down, you can remember it in the morning.”
“But—”
A hand slid down your hip, fingers pressing into your skin in a way that made you shiver. “I said, in the morning,” he murmured, his lips brushing against your ear. Then, just to make sure you listened, he added, “Be a good girl and go to sleep.”
Your entire body heated at the words, your brain short-circuiting for a second before snapping into overdrive. Without a word, you bolted upright, nearly diving for your phone as you started typing furiously.
Simon groaned, dragging a hand down his face. “Are you serious?”
“Shhh,” you hushed him, fingers flying across the screen. “This is really good.”

₊ ⁺ pairing: Heeseung x reader
₊ ⁺ genre: soulmate au, fluff, they’re crackheads but in the most endearing way
₊ ⁺ word count: 3.9k
₊ ⁺ note: god i hope you guys will love these two as much as I do. No hate to my main man Jay but this might be my fave so far. Please let me know what you think!
₊ ⁺ Jake ₊ ⁺ Jungwon ₊ ⁺ Jay ₊ ⁺ Sunoo ₊ ⁺ Heeseung ₊ ⁺ Niki ₊ ⁺ Sunghoon ₊ ⁺ Masterlist
Tumblr media
Heeseung had, unlike most, no apparent need to meet his soulmate sooner rather than later. He was, even as a young boy, one with ambition and aspirations and wanted to make it on his own before he was introduced to his other half.
However that didn’t mean that he hadn't stayed up all night, the day he turned thirteen to figure out what his mark was. Nothing had showed up on his skin, which meant it would most likely take him a few days to figure out what it was.
6 hours after he had gone to bed, he woke up screaming and in panic because it felt like his wrist had just broken itself spontaneously in his sleep. His brother had been there in a second, soul-band-aid in hand before slapping it on the boy's wrist.
The pain had disappeared almost instantly, and had turned into nothing more than a dull throbbing he would be able to ignore. His brother had pulled him close and told him what this meant while he dried his tears.
As the years went by Heeseung learned that his soulmate was either incredibly clumsy, or else your hobby was throwing your whole body onto concrete, and to his defence he wasn’t that far off.
You had always loved rollerblading with your sister, which meant a fall every once in a while, scraped knees and sprained wrists. All because the safety gear just didn’t look that cool. You were also a gymnast, which meant ruined ankles and falls that were head first into a mattress.
The people around you tried to get you to calm down but their words didn’t really matter. Your soulmate would love you anyways. At least that was the hope.
Tumblr media
As the two of you grew up, you had switched rolls. When you became more calm, mature and overall focused on your studies, he became insane. That was at least what you told people when your ankles and legs were covered in those well known band-aids.
All because Heeseung didn’t mind straining his body whenever he danced. That however meant sore muscles and limbs for the both of you, since he could do exactly that for 12 hours straight with no problem. He wanted to be the best.
His ambition did pay off however, but the three months he was on I-land you were struggling. He had always been hard on his body, but this was something else. You got your revenge however, because as you got older, your periods became more and more painful, and as you were tucked under the covers, chuckling while eating chocolate, he had to try and actually work his body while in absolute agony.
He had never really understood why you didn’t just take painkillers, but what he could gather from the internet was that there were some people with periods that just ‘wanted’ to feel the pain, and Heeseung just had to smile through it.. That was the day he had decided you were weird.
When he had debuted he was thankful to find soul-band-aids in every studio of the building, dance or music, it didn't matter. Both Jimin and Vernon shared his mark, and had therefore made sure that they were always on stock.
Over the years he was lucky enough to pick their brains about just how to handle it. Especially after you had a nasty fall and busted your knee when he was 20, it had given you both problems ever since.
“Always carry around a few bandaids, if yours is anything like mine, they’ll fall down at least once a day” Vernon had said with a large smile which had caused both Heeseung and Jimin to laugh.
“And the periods” Jimin said and the three of them grimaced. “Make sure you stock up on chocolate, I have no idea why, but it kind of helps, you know it takes the edge off”
“And keep a heating pad around, it helps her as much as you. But mine also completely sucks at making sure she has painkillers on hand. I’ve had to start carrying that shit around” Vernon said as he adjusted his cap.
“Yeah, mine too,” Heeseung had told them both. He appreciated their good advice, and was thankful they even wanted to talk to him about it.
He had to admit that he was thankful you hadn’t chosen a job or way of life that caused too much pain. It was mostly a papercut here and there or very tense shoulders, that you never got taken care of, so he did that for you both.
And you already loved that about him, that he wanted to take care of you, that he actually did. Some evenings you would go to bed with tense shoulders and a back that hurt like hell only to wake up to him haven gotten a massage overnight, all to loose you up. You definitely weren’t complaining.
Tumblr media
Heeseung knew the two of you would meet when it was time, but that didn’t mean he didn’t try and communicate with you.
You had a habit of pinching your arm over and over again, he assumed it was whenever you were nervous since it fit with the timeline of the university exams.
He was in a meeting at one point and you just wouldn’t stop, it was constant over and over again, and he almost lost his mind.
“Are you okay?” Jungwon had asked with worry, ready to shut down the meeting if need be. He had made faces of annoyance and pain for the last fifteen minutes.
“I’m fine, she just has an exam” He answered and rolled his eyes.
“Jesus fuck” Sunghoon had groaned before he, on Heeseungs other arm, had pinched him. Hard.
The oldest had made a sound of surprise and pain all at once, but the pinching had stopped, and after a few seconds a small pinch, almost more similar to a nibble, was felt on the arm that hadn’t taken your nervous abuse. It was an apologetic ‘sorry’.
He had smiled wider than he had in a long time.
You had been sitting outside the exam room when you felt it, he had been the last thing on your mind, but you couldn’t help but feel bad. What if he was actually inside an exam room right now, what if you had ruined it for him. So you had done the small pinch as a way to apologize.
It had quickly become a trademark for the two of you. Small pinches here and there to let the other know you were thinking of them.
One pinch for: hi, or in some cases stop. Two for: need you, in case any of you were nervous and needed some reassurance. You typically used that one before exams or if you were stressed out of your mind. He used it for award shows, when he wanted to win so bad the only thing he heard was his own heartbeat. And three for; I’m right here.
You didn’t want to admit it, but it was nice, knowing he was there when you needed him. It made your heart soft, and his too.

Your head was buried in a chemistry book when your phone rang out of the blue.
“Dovie” you said as a hello as you greeted your best friend.
“Hi love, so I was wondering if you had any plans for tomorrow night?” She asked and you could almost hear the biting of her lip, one of many habits your best friend had picked up after the meeting of her soulmate, the year prior.
A sigh escaped you as you did a quick headcount of your notes.
“That depends on what you want?” You asked before rubbing your eyes.
“Gods, once in a while it would be good for you to leave those books behind” she said, the grin very noticeable by the sound of her voice.
“Well the skincare of the future won't just magically appear you know?” you chuckled.
“You better invent something that removes all my wrinkles”
The two of you laughed.
“What is it?” You asked again before getting up to get yourself a fresh cup of coffee.
The sun was almost completely gone behind the skyscrapers outside your apartment windows.
“I want you to join me for a concert” she said with an excited high pitched voice.
“Your guy?” You asked, finally curious enough to forget the chemical compounds in anua’s barrier serums.
“My guy! And well, all of his guys as well”
“And it’s free?”
She sighed. “Obviously”
“Well, well, well… I finally get to meet the infamous Sim Jake then. Count me in babes, just tell me where I need to show up”
Tumblr media
Having a best friend bound to a celebrity had its perks it seemed. She picked you up in a town car and the two of you had a glass of champagne as it took you to the venue.
You had been so glad when she had informed you she moved to Seoul. Unlike her, you had left a year before she had, to study in the city and learn from those who were the masters in the skincare industry.
It definitely had its perks, you were flooded with products, and few things were as fun as majoring in something you were actually passionate about.
The two of you joined three other girls in a VIP booth. The rest of the guys soulmates you were told. They were all different from one another, but somehow the dynamic between them matched perfectly.
You guessed that was a must when their soulmates shared everything with one another. What you didn’t want to admit was that being with them felt similar to coming home.
The concert started and it was absolutely amazing. The guys were talented and their girls cheered them on with so much enthusiasm. It was as if the air was electric and you couldn’t help but be completely mesmerized with the overall atmosphere.
On the stage your eyes lingered on the oldest. His voice was amazing and he was incredibly beautiful. And then he slipped.
As the whole stadium made a worried sound all you could do was groan, as silently as possible not to draw attention to yourself. Because where Heeseung had landed, you now felt pain.
In a swift motion your hand was in your bag pulling up a soul-band-aid and slipping it on your lower back where it was hurting.
You saw how Heeseung smiled, and then he pinched his arm, twice; need you. And you felt it. The fall was one thing, but this, this had to mean that the brother to your best friend's soulmate, was yours.
You stumbled back and automatically responded with three pinches; I’m right here. On the screen you saw how he smiled wide, and kept dancing. Unlike him, you were in complete shock, trying to catch your breath.
Tumblr media
As the guys had a wardrobe change, their manager was over Heeseung with a bandaid within a second. But he just pushed it away.
“It’s okay, she took care of it,” he said with a proud smile. You had been so fast, and the pain had been managed by your quick thinking within a second. Almost as if you knew he needed you right then and there.
However his ribs were hurting now, as if you were currently running a marathon and couldn’t quite catch your breath. He pinched his arm three times, and the pain subsided.
“You okay?” Niki said as they were stripped from their clothes.
“Yeah, she was quick,” he said with a smile.
“Good, I’m glad she’s taking care of you” the youngest gave him a loving shove and the two laughed.
Heeseung looked at his pinky. “Is she here?”
Niki laughed. “You think I would be if she was?” He laughed as he ruffled his hair before plugging back his in-ears.
“Good point” Heeseung said as he mirrored him. “If mine was here I wouldn’t be here either”
Tumblr media
The girls grabbed you by the arm and dragged you backstage after the concert. You had never been more nervous in your life.
You tried your best to not pinch your arm, he would be alarmed at that, you thought.
“Little dove” said a dark haired beauty that you assumed to be Jake.
He came straight for your best friend, pulled her close and gave her a kiss. It was longer than you had expected, and for a second it felt like you were intruding.
G was quickly pulled close to Jay as he removed the hair from her neck before he kissed her there.
And before you could notice anyone else, Jake had pulled you into a bear hug. “It’s so fucking good to finally meet you!”
You were literally up in the air, while your friend was just laughing beside you.
“Put the girl down you big idiot” Sunghoon had said before introducing himself, and the rest quickly followed suit.
It was stupid but you couldn’t help but look around for him, and for some reason Jake noticed that. He narrowed his eyes. “Hee will be here in a second, they just need to take a look at him after his fall”
You nodded, as you tried to look interested in anything but the man who was currently receding just down the hall from you all.
They had all dragged you to a few couches, and the boys took turns disappearing and returning in their civil clothes.
Because Heeseung wasn’t there, your nervous tic took over all by itself. Dovie laid a hand on yours to get you to stop your fidgeting, and just in time.
“She’s nervous again” Heeseung said as he entered the room.
“What, now?” Sunoo said surprised.
“Yeah, I have no idea what’s going on with her today that got her so on edge. God I hate there's absolutely nothing I can do about it” He threw himself down in a chair across from you, and you were pretty sure you suddenly forgot the ability to breathe.
He took a sip from a can, and as his eyes found yours, he completely froze.
Tumblr media
Shit. Fuck. What the fuck.
That was the thoughts that went through his head, because before him was the most beautiful angel he had ever seen.
And he of course, for the life of him couldn’t make a proper introduction.
He swallowed his drink and waved while an awkward hi somehow escaped him. You smiled and god he could’ve died right there. Maybe he was already dead, and maybe this was heaven.
The conversation that they were all having picked up again when he didn’t follow up. He started chewing on the inside of his cheek nervously, but his eyes never left you. He was completely mesmerized.
You distracted him so much that he accidentally bit his cheek a little to hard, and he flinched from the pain. But so did you.
Why the fuck would you do that? What was going on?
He leaned a little closer, as he observed you, narrowing his eyes on that left arm of yours, still slightly red. Maybe from pinching yourself over and over again?
So how do we test this? He thought to himself.
Two pinches to his arm. And as per routine, without even thinking about, without even thinking about where you were, without even thinking about who was sitting in front of you; you pinched yourself thrice.
And when you realized your eyes shot up to meet his. Heeseung just rose from his seat with a grin.
“Oh you’re coming with me” he said. The room around you fell silent. Everyone staring at the oldest, wondering what exactly he was going on about, because his sentence had made no sense in the conversation they were all having.
“I-“ was all that you mustered to get out before he grabbed your wrist and pulled you from the large room.
You had no idea where he was taking you, and you felt your phone buzz in your bag. It was propably Dovie, asking what the hell was going on.
Heeseung dragged you along all while saying goodbye to the staff he met on his way, and before you knew it he was pushing you into a car and he followed suit.
As it started driving the two of you had almost automatically turned your bodies towards one another, as if you were two magnets desperate to finally connect.
“So…” he said with a raised eyebrow all while the city was passing by outside. The streets still flooded with all the fans that had been screaming at him, at them only 30 minutes earlier.
“I’m pretty sure kidnapping is illegal” you said as you crossed your arms over your chest.
He laughed. “You’re stubborn aren’t you?” He didn’t mind that though, it would make this little life of yours so much more entertaining if you were.
“So what if I am?” You asked with a teasing voice, there was this twinkle in your eyes that made his knees weak, and he had never been more thankful that he was actually sitting down.
The conversation between you both most likely sounded a lot more like lovers bickering than two soulmates that had just found one another. But for some reason he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Where we going?” You asked after a few minutes of silence, and your eyes instantly found his as you felt your cheeks heat up.
“Back to your place” he stated as he look out at the tall buildings surrounding the two of you.
“My place?” You asked shocked. “How the hell do you know where I live?”
Heeseung just laughed. “Oh calm down now, I’m no stalker, my sweet manager here was the one who picked you up earlier. I just decided it would be best to follow you home” he shrugged. “You know, making sure you got there safe”
You were pretty sure your heart skipped a beat at that. Instead of entertaining the conversation while a stranger was in the car with you, you instead pulled your phone from your bag.
Dovie: you two owe me 100.000 won
You: why?
Dovie: Me and Jake made a bet and I lost, so you fools better pay up.
You smiled, and Heeseung couldn’t help but do the same.
“Why are you smiling?” He asked, a little scared that you wouldn’t humor him.
“Apparently our besties made a bet, and I’m guessing it had to do with us” you said as you waved your phone before stuffing it back in your bag.
He ran a hand through his hair and laughed. “That explains Jake’s mood all day at least”
You raised a brow at him, suddenly curious on just what had been going on before they went on stage “What?”
“He’s just been… teasing me all day you know, constantly asking how I was feeling, if I was nervous. He was just way kinder and way wierder than usual, so I figured he was up to something. Gotta say I did not expect this”
He was so beautiful when he smiled, his laugh sounded like the sweetest music, which honestly couldn’t come as a surprise when he had a voice like an angel.
You hummed in response. To afraid that your voice would crack, that it would reveal the need for him, that you felt in your very bones.
The car finally came to a halt and he quickly opened the door. He was thankful for the fresh and cold air, he felt like he was burning up.
He held the door open for you and as soon as you stepped out the rain started. He watched as you lifted your head towards the sky, savoring the cool drops of water on your skin.
“So… here we are” he said, drawing your attention back to him.
“We are,” you said as you turned towards him. He was too aware of the rain droplets ran down your skin.
“A…” he sighed. “Are we sure?”
“We are, I don’t have a soul-band-aid on my ass for nothing” you laughed and it was so contagious he joined you right away.
“Yeah, thanks for that one” he said as he took a step closer to you. He wanted you in his arms, but he didn’t want to pressure you.
“You are my soulmate, Heeseung” you said. He felt the goosebumps break out on his entire body. He didn’t know how much he had longed for you to say those words.
“I know I am, but what are you?” He asked and he saw the mischeif spark in your eye.
“I’m yours” you say, and smiled wider than you think you’ve ever had.
“Fuck yeah you are” he say and took two steps towards you.
Heeseung flung his arms around you and pulled you to him. “God angel, it took you long enough” he had lifted you off the ground, and your legs had instinctively wrapped around his waist.
You rolled your eyes. “I could say the same about you” you didn’t care about the rain, about the possibility of catching a cold. You didn’t even care that you were out in public, wrapped in the arms of one of the Koreas it-boys. No all you cared about was that he seemed to be just as excited for having found you, as you were of finding him.
His eyes glimmered in the streetlights and your hands rested on the nape of his neck. He sucked in a breath.
“Yeah? You better punish me for it” he squeezed your thigh and you pulled at his hair teasingly. He licked his lips in response.
“Careful now” he said as he carried you into the elevator of your building, finally getting you out of the cold. “Don’t wanna start something you can’t finish”
“What makes you so sure I won’t be able to see it through?” You asked as you nudged your nose against his.
He closed his eyes and savored the skin to skin contact.
“Fuck it” he said, and closed the gap between the two of you as he crashed his lips onto yours.
You let out a surprised yelp, but returned it. Pulling him even closer to you.
“No way in hell I’m letting you out of my sight, angel. You’re staying with me”
You chuckled. “I have an exam soon, you know”
He shrugged and hid his head in the crook of your neck. “You can use me to distract you whenever need be, it’ll be a big improvement from all that god damn pinching”
His lips were on your neck, kissing, licking, nibbling on your skin. And he couldn’t help himself so he bit down slightly, and the two of you groaned together as you felt a pain that when inflicted by him, much more pleasure than anything else.
Finally you heard the ding of the elevator doors, and you slipped out of his grasp. He whined at the lack of contact.
“Come on now, we got shit to do” you said as you pulled him along.
“Oh yeah? What?" He asked teasingly. He put his arm around your shoulder, pulling you into his side as he kissed your forehead.
“You’re the one who offered to be my distraction”
“Always Angel”

RESPONSIBLE DADS - LOVE AND DEEPSPACE MEN X READER
Tumblr media
Warnings : autistic!Zayne with his autistic daughter, all of them are girl dads here (except for Xavier who has twins), cuteness-aggression bites, one mention of a gun (no one is harmed!), no mentions of pregnancy (their kids can be interpreted as biological or adopted), this isn’t proof-read, reader is gender-neutral!
Genre : so much domestic fluff ☹️🫶🏽
Word count : 2.3K words (holy shit???)
Additional notes : This is a combination of two asks I’d received a month or two ago about the LNDS men as dads while their partner is away, and Zayne in particular struggling with his own autism vs his child’s autism. The brain rot was real in this one😭 To anyone else reading this, my requests are still closed!! These are just old requests I had in my inbox🫶🏽
Tip jar!

“She went down without much of a fuss,” Zayne said, slowly closing the bedroom door behind him as he set his phone on the dresser and got ready for bed over the video call, despite the time zone differences. He’d tried to convince them to just let themself rest instead of staying up past 3 AM, but they’d paid him no mind and insisted on seeing him last thing before bed.
They hummed, watching him slip out of his button up through their screen with a fond gaze. “She is really quiet compared to what I’ve heard about kids her age.”
In the midst of folding his shirt, he paused, a slight crease between his eyebrows. “A little too quiet.” At his concerned face, they straightened up in their seat and leaned in closer to their phone. “I think… she has difficulty connecting with me.”
Their expression was unsure at that. “I don’t know, Zayne. You know she loves you…”
“I do,” was his swift answer, pausing as he pulled his pyjama shirt over his head, then popping out with his hair adorably mussed. “But maybe she feels like I wouldn’t understand her.”
No matter how much he wanted to seem stoic and unaffected by the prospect, there was no hiding the conflicted emotions swimming in his eyes. With an almost sad smile, they asked him, “Even though anyone that sees you two says you have so much in common?”
With a slight flush (was it out of embarrassment as he noticed his messy hair, or was it a twinge of pride in being so connected to his daughter?) he began to apply his minimal skincare that he’d grown used to with them, scarred skin deftly being cared for after years of neglect.
“Autistic girls have different experiences than autistic boys, and their struggles are often overlooked because of these differences. Maybe she subconsciously feels that we can’t bridge that gap.”
Resting their head against their hand, keen eyes bore through him. Zayne would never go unheard as long as they were there. “Do you feel that gap?”
He shrugged, swallowing thickly as he wiped the excess off on his hand towel. “It’s not about me. Studies show that—”
Shaking their head, they sighed a little in affectionate exasperation. “It doesn’t matter what studies say. You’re overthinking it because you want things to be perfect. It’s sweet, just… not very realistic.”
“Mm. I know,” he softly conceded, combing through his hair with a distant glimmer in his eyes. It wasn’t so easy, navigating the emotions and ideas of a child that one already struggled with for decades.
They apologetically smiled at him, then added, “She trusts you with her life because she knows how hard you try to understand her, no matter how difficult that may be sometimes. You give her the space to be able to communicate her needs properly, and that’s why she loves you beyond measure, Zayne.”
He looked away for a few beats, but that was enough time for them to see the misty-eyed wonder in his eyes as he looked at the crooked drawing on his bedside table that she’d made of him holding her in his arms.
His sweet daughter who carried a piece of his heart everywhere she went.
“Then she’s just like you. Very open with her affections.” Huffing out an impossibly tender laugh, he picked up his phone once again and began to climb into bed, his shoulders sagging with relief; like he needed that reassurance to be able to nestle his body into the mattress, cold as it was without his lover. “Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve it from you both…”
Tumblr media
“You’re gonna get sick like that, and guess who’ll be cleaning up that mess?” Rafayel frowned, grabbing his daughter by the scruff of her neck and carrying her off before she got her pretty dress drenched by the wave that came crashing down where she’d been standing.
“I can’t get sick from water, daddy, and you know it,” came the reply between giggles, her eyes closed as she relished in the spray of seawater.
With a grunt, he fumbled with his phone a little as he switched to carrying her against his hip with one arm, before turning back to the ongoing video call. “Holding down the fort?” they teasingly asked, arching their brow at their daughter’s windswept hair and inevitably sandy fists curled up against Rafayel’s chest.
“She likes to bully me.” He pouted as he saw two pairs of mischievous eyes looking at him. “No guesses as to where she picked that up from.”
“Are you sure that your six year old daughter—who, mind you, is as cute as a button—is bullying you?”
“Daddy’s just silly, Lemurians are fine with water,” his daughter tried to reason with what she felt was perfectly logical. “He just doesn’t want to wash my clothes again if I get them wet.”
“And why should I?” he indignantly huffed out at the grin that showed she was definitely up to no good. “They’ll get dirty ten seconds later anyways. It’s such a pain.”
“Maybe you shouldn’t leave paint buckets everywhere, then I wouldn’t be on my fourth dress of the day.” Her sassy mutter under her breath was the last straw, and then his instincts took over and—
Chomp!
His teeth nibbled on her round little cheeks, cuteness aggression washing away any possible annoyance (which he’d been feigning, anyways) at the prospect of having to do the laundry all over again. She cried out in protest, though her shreaks of laughter and tighter hold on him gave away the fact that—not unlike his partner—she loved every bit of it.
“You got my face all dirty,” she whined, wiping her cheek against his silk shirt as he walked them back up to the house, much to his dismay.
A chuckle came from his screen, and he flushed under the sweet gaze and the grin he missed so much. “There goes another round in the washing machine. Y’know, Raf, it’s not the smartest move around to wear your favorite clothes around your kid.”
“No kidding,” he grumbled, though there was no bite behind his words. In fact, the tender look in his gem-like eyes only spoke volumes of the adoration he held inside. And maybe his little girl felt it, and decided it would be the perfect moment to press a kiss to where she could reach, right over his heart.
“I don’t mind the paint, daddy. You always make the prettiest things with it, pretty just like you,” she softly said, her tiny index finger toying with the pearlescent button on his blouse.
How much more did she want to squeeze his heart in his chest? He didn’t think he could possibly love her any more than he already did, and yet here she was, proving over and over again that she was the greatest gift he could ever be blessed with after all these years. Walking into their home with sandy feet and salty skin was no longer a dream, but a part of his quaint little life.
“Even if you did ruin my favorite dress and sandals.”
Tumblr media
“Papa’s been asleep for three hours now,” she whined in a low voice, her bottom lip jutted out as she looked back at Xavier curled up in a ball in the middle of the unmade bed, legs tangled in the messy sheets. She then turned back to the videocall at hand. “Can’t you wake him up, please?”
Her twin brother popped up from behind her and patted her shoulders in what he hoped was a soothing manner. “He’s tired after he played with us. Let’s leave him for a bit.”
With a downcast gaze, she reluctantly nodded and walked out with him, the phone shaking as it was a little too big for her small hands.
Now out in the living room, they could finally raise their voices a little. “Papa cleaned up in the morning too. We probably shouldn’t have asked him to play with us.” He looked a little forlorn as he fiddled with his fingers. Painfully shy, it often showed when he was doubting himself. “We tried to help him after lunch, but—”
“That’s okay, what matters is that you both tried to lend him a hand,” they sweetly reassured them as they smiled through the screen. “And I’m sure if he was too tired to play with you guys, he wouldn’t have offered it in the first place.”
Their daughter gasped, eyes shining in awe at that. “How did you know that Papa was the one who came up with the game?”
“Because he waits for playtime every day, just to spend time with you guys. He’s always so excited, y’know?”
With matching grins (though one was more bashful than the other), the two seven year-olds looked significantly lighter than they had been when the call had first started. The precious moment was soon interrupted by a yawn from behind and a tuft of blonde hair taking up half the background.
“Did you two sneak off to have them all to yourself?” came Xavier’s sleep-addled voice, as he shuffled to pull them onto his lap and readjust the camera. “Cheeky, taking advantage of my nap.”
His daughter laughed, her hands going to loop around his neck. “We weren’t! Promise.”
Her brother reached up to pat down Xavier’s bedhead, gently combing through the soft locks. “You looked tired, Papa. We didn’t want to wake you up with our voices.”
At that, Xavier couldn’t help the upwards quirk of his lips, all the love one could contain threatening to burst through as he held his world between his fingertips—and the best part of him miles away but no further from the heart.
“You’re sweet, just like a certain someone we all miss,” he said, before kissing their foreheads and ruffling their hair, earning little grumbles of protest. Turning his attention back to the videocall, Xavier’s eyes softened. “How long until we can take naps together on the couch again?”
His partner sighed, glancing at the calender on the wall for a moment. “Should be three days. It’s hell without you guys. Maybe I’ve gotten used to waking you all up for an hour in the mornings.”
“Hey, it’s all because of Papa!”
“He does sleep in twice as long as us…”
“And it’s gotten even worse now that you’re gone.”
He chuckled at their sulking feeding off each other, and the collective agreement that things just weren’t the same when his lover wasn’t beside him where they belonged. “Then maybe this should be enough to convince them to hurry back to us so we can get up early every day, hmm?”
Tumblr media
“Tell me why Luke and Kieran frantically called me up and told me stop you from endangering our one year old girl. Now.”
“Well, hello to you too, sweetie.” Sylus rolled his eyes at the clearly enthusiastic greeting. “I’ve missed you too. I’m doing good without you for two weeks. Thanks for asking.”
“Yeah, yeah, don’t give me that crap. You’ll live.” Scoffing, they crossed their arms in front of their chest. “Less avoiding the topic, more explaining why your seconds in command are treating you like a ticking bomb.”
“They’re more like lackeys, you know.” A hint of irritation climbed up his spine. Luke and Kieran were more like lost puppies that would be a danger to themselves—and society—if they were left to their whims. That’s all that they were (or so he tried to convince himself).
They waved him off, knowing that his half-assed words weren’t to be taken seriously. “I beg to differ. Now, where is she and what happened?”
Silence settled for a few moments, but then he realized it wasn’t in his favor to not quickly come clean. “She was playing around with me in bed, then seemed fascinated by my left pocket. Said pocket… may or may not have had a gun.”
Leaning in close to the camera, they sighed heavily, and pinched the bridge of their nose. “And I’m assuming her magic little fingers found the trigger.”
“More or less yes,” he mumbled under his breath, swallowing thickly as he met their dead-eyed stare. “Had to whip it out and fling it across the room… which may or may not have caused it to slam into the new bookcase and send it toppling.”
It didn’t matter how many people he’d managed to fearlessly face down; pinned underneath his partner’s disapproval, he found himself unable to move. “And that’s where they came in?”
Sylus hummed, flipping the camera and showing them the fractured remains on the floor. “Sorry about that, sweetie. Didn’t have the time to clean it up, what with feeding her and getting her ready for bed.”
“It’s fine, I can build another one.” Their quick dismissal was followed by the furrowing of their eyebrows. “What matters is that you prioritized her safety first.”
“Of course,” he was quick to reply, turning the camera back to himself, before he chuckled a little, sweetness seeping through his voice, “Though I do admit, seeing her have no self-preservation instincts really did make her strikingly similar to you in that regard.”
“Really flattering, hearing you praise her brashness and compare it to mine.” Their expression then grew more serious, and they worried their bottom lip between their teeth. “But… please. Don’t keep any weapons in the same room as her. She’s naturally curious.”
“Don’t have to tell me twice,” he murmured, having had his dose of sheer panic at her tiny hands. He couldn’t remember a moment in his life when he’d been as terrified as he was earlier, his blood turning to ice at the thought of endangering her because of his own fast-paced life.
“I know you’ll be more careful. You’re so good to her—and me,” they quietly mused, a grateful look on their face as they admired him—tired ruby eyes, unruly silver hair, and all.
And Sylus had no control over his own lovesick stare, perfectly content with dancing in their palm for the rest of their lives. After all, he’d found the only two people in this world he could forfeit his life for. There was no shame in admitting it—and so he did, ever so softly. “I suppose you can take pride in knowing that you both have me wrapped around your fingers.”

REFLECTED BLISS
When you discover a mirror attached to the wall in your hotel room, Spencer decides to take full advantage of it.
Warnings: (18+ MDNI) afab reader, established relationship but they're being sneaky, fingering, guided masturbation (f), unprotected sex with a mirror involved, creampie, and spencer being spencer a.k.a he uses fun facts as dirty talk ~3.9k words A/n: Told myself to make this 'cute and sexy and less filthy' but… idk man, from a scale to 1 to 10 how filthy is this be honest Requested: Here
Tumblr media
“Oh my god.”
“What? What is it?”
“Spence,” you urged, pulling him into the room. “You need to see this.”
He followed you, stepping further in, and his eyes widened as they landed on the wall opposite the bed—a wall that wasn't just a wall, but a vast, floor-to-ceiling mirror reflecting the entire room. “That’s… interesting.”
“Interesting?” You mocked before peaking your head out the door, making sure no one was in sight before clicking it shut. “It’s terrifying.”
His duffel bag hit the carpet floor. “You’re scared of a mirror?”
“No,” you responded, placing your own bag alongside his. “I’m scared of the idea of it. I mean, look at it—it’s like it sees everything.”
“It’s glass. It can’t actually see us.”
“Yeah, but still,” you said, crossing your arms defensively. “It’s placed right in front of the bed. Who would want to watch themselves sleeping?”
His eyes shifted back and forth between the mirror and the bed, the reflection capturing every detail of the room, including the bed’s plush pillows and crisp white sheets. “You know, I don’t think it’s used for sleeping.”
“What do you mean?”
His lips quirked up into an amused smile. “Think about it. Why would anyone want a mirror like this in front of their bed? It’s not for sleeping, it’s for... well, other activities.”
You felt your cheeks heat up as realization dawned. “Oh, you mean—that’s even worse!”
He laughed, closing the distance between you, his arms resting comfortably around your waist. “Actually, visual stimulation can significantly enhance sexual experiences. Mirrors can add a whole new level of excitement by engaging our sense of sight.”
Your face flushed even more. “I… did not know that.”
“Yeah, it’s all about the brain processing the stimuli.” He pulled you closer, his voice dropping to a softer, more intimate tone. “It can heighten our arousal and make the experience more intense.”
You could feel your heart hammering against your chest, knowing what he was trying to do. Every time he initiated something intimate, it never failed to fluster you. There was a time when Spencer was uncertain and hesitant about these aspects of your relationship. But the more you spent time together, sneaking into each other’s hotel rooms from time to time, the more his confidence grew.
Now, you could feel it in the way he was holding you, his arms wrapped securely around your waist. His touch was firm yet gentle, and the way he looked down at you, his eyes filled with warmth and a hint of mischief, was sending you into a frenzy. There was something different in his gaze—a new assurance, a quiet strength that made your pulse quicken.
He smiled down at you, a secretive, knowing smile as if he held a secret of his own, one that he was eager to share with you in these private moments. You swallowed hard, trying to steady your breathing.
“I guess that makes sense.”
His smile widened. “So, while the mirror might seem creepy at first, it actually has its perks.”
“Perks, huh?”
“Absolutely.”
You pulled back slightly, eyes narrowing at him. “Are you trying to convince me to have sex in front of the mirror?”
“Is it working?”
You couldn’t stop the laugh escaping your lips. “A little.”
He laughed along with you, the sound warm and infectious. “Can I convince you more?”
But before you could answer him, his lips were already down your neck, drawing a sigh from you. You tilted your head to grant him better access. His hands slid around your waist, pulling you closer until you could feel the steady beat of his heart against yours.
“I thought—” You let out a moan when he sucked a spot just below your ear. “I thought we agreed… no funny business tonight.”
“Was that really your plan when you begged me to stay with you?”
“I didn’t beg,” you defended. “You offered. I told you this town gave me the creeps and you said you’d sneak in my room to keep me company.”
His lips paused momentarily, hovering just over your pulse.
“You’re right, you didn’t beg,” he conceded with a soft chuckle, his breath tickling your skin. “But you have to admit, the offer was mutually beneficial.”
“Mutually beneficial? Is that what we’re calling it?”
“It’s accurate,” he murmured, drawing back to look at you. “And I seem to remember someone saying how much they appreciated the company... especially at night.”
You could feel the smile forming on your lips, even as you tried to maintain a semblance of indignation. “Well, maybe I did say that. But that doesn’t mean—”
His lips cut you off, soft and persuasive, making it impossible to continue as your protests melted away. The kiss deepened, driven by a mixture of long-held desire and the thrill of his hard body pressed against your soft frame.
“You make a pretty convincing argument,” you murmured against his lips, your earlier resolve softening.
He pulled away from you before taking your hand in his. “Come here.”
He led you gently towards the mirror, the expanse of glass revealing your intertwined figures in the softly lit room.
“Oh my god, we’re actually doing this?”
He positioned you in front of him. "Only if you're comfortable.”
You watched your reflections, the way his hands settled more firmly around your waist, how your bodies fit together so perfectly. Your gaze met him through the mirror.
“Convince me more.”
He smiled and wrapped his arms around you, fingers hovering above the buttons of your shirt.
“Well," he began. "Did you know that mirrors don't just reflect visuals? They can also amplify emotions.”
You watched him in the reflection, the depth of his clear, brown eyes pulling you deeper into the moment. "It's like being both the spectator and the participant," he continued, his fingers deftly beginning to unbutton your shirt with gentle precision. "It makes everything more real, more intimate.”
You found yourself nodding, drawn in by both his words and the tender yet confident way he handled you.
"So," he concluded as he folded back the fabric, revealing more of you to the cool air of the room and the warm glow of his gaze, "If we're talking about enhancing our senses, using a mirror could make every touch, every kiss, feel even more intense, don't you think?"
Words failed you; you were too overwhelmed by his presence, by the heat that radiated from his touch, so instead of speaking, you nodded again. He smiled, a slow, knowing curve of his lips that suggested he was aware of the effect he had on you.
"See?" he murmured, slipping your shirt off your shoulders. "Everything feels more alive, doesn't it?"
More than alive, your body was burning. You couldn't tear your eyes away from the mirror, where every movement and touch vividly reflected back at you. You leaned into him, letting the warmth of his body envelop you as his lips found the curve of your neck, planting soft, lingering kisses.
His fingers slid down the strap of your bra, the motion slow and tantalizing as his gaze traced the path. His other hand remained at your waist, holding you steady as if he knew how his actions were making your knees weak.
“Tell me what you’re thinking,” he urged when he caught you staring intently at your reflection.
"I'm thinking," you started. “That this mirror might be magic.”
His eyebrows raised slightly, amusement flickering through his gaze. "Oh?"
“It’s making my clothes disappear.”
He laughed, the sound rich and warm in the quiet room. “I thought maybe I had something to do with that.”
“Well… you do love a good magic trick.”
“I do love a good magic trick.”
You felt his fingers on your back before he unhooked the clasp of your bra. The fabric loosened, and you felt a flush of warmth that had little to do with the room's temperature. His hands slid from your back to your shoulders, gently pushing the straps down your arms, allowing the fabric to slip away gracefully.
“You’re so beautiful.”
You swallowed, trying to concentrate as his arms circled your waist before his fingers found the waistband of your pants.
“You’re… you’re pretty too.”
His chuckle was low and affectionate, his breath tickling your ear. "I'll take that as a compliment."
You felt his fingers undo the button of your pants, his movements slow, almost teasing, before he gently slid the zipper down. He gazed into your eyes through the mirror, seeking permission, and you found yourself nodding, your breath catching in your throat.
His hands shifted, not only guiding the fabric down your legs but also making sure your panties followed suit as he kneeled behind you. He let out a strained groan when he caught the evidence of your slick arousal clinging onto the fabric, momentarily pausing to kiss the back of your exposed thigh.
You were so pretty, so warm, so inviting. Spencer let his lips linger onto your skin while he pushed the last piece of clothing gently past your knees, allowing it to fall gracefully to the floor. He stood back up and led you both backward until the back of his knees met the edge of the bed.
With a smooth motion, he sat down, guiding you to sit between his spread legs. He carefully nudged your legs apart with his hand, and you couldn't resist looking away when you saw yourself in this position.
“No,” he said, his hand tracing along the column of your neck, coming to rest gently against your jaw before tilting your face toward the mirror. “I want you to watch.”
Hesitantly, your eyes met your reflection in the mirror. You could clearly see yourself, how exposed you were, how you seemed to look smaller compared to him with the way you were naked and the way he was still fully clothed.
His hands traced a path from your jaw down your neck, and he watched himself move over the swells of your breasts. He gave them both a firm squeeze, admiring how they looked in his hands, how your skin radiated beneath his own.
You gasped when his thumbs brushed your nipples. It seemed like it wasn’t much, but the sensation you were getting from it was making you wetter. Your nipples were so sensitive that you let out his name in an airy moan.
“Yes, baby?”
Your back arched instinctively. He knew what he was doing with his sweet, gentle voice and the way he was rolling your nipples in between his index and middle fingers.
You shifted your head to the side. “Can you kiss me?”
Of course he could, he’d probably give you anything you asked for. Spencer leaned forward, his lips met yours that melded with sweetness an intense longing. One of your hands found its way to his hair, pulling him closer as you kissed him with a clear desperation, but his hunger was unmatched.
He was kissing you as if he wanted to make sure he memorized every curve of your lip, the way your tongue felt, and how it felt good to get a moan out of you. You were moaning loudly, way too loud, and all he could do was swallow your moans—tongue exploring all over the inside of your mouth or press his lips hard against yours.
Finally breaking the kiss just enough to speak, he whispered against your lips. “Should I continue?”
You nodded as his other hand, which had been skillfully teasing your nipples traveled down, tracing the lines of your body, over your ribs, pausing at your hips. He gently guided your hips to shift slightly, adjusting the angle, spreading your legs further apart.
“Can you keep your eyes on the mirror for me?”
You fixed your gaze on the reflection and felt a surge of heat rush through you. A glistening sheen of your arousal coated your inner thighs, and it almost embarrassed you, but it seemed like he didn’t mind. His large hands moved down your thighs, his touch alternating between gentle brushes and firm grips, exploring the softness of your flesh.
The moment his fingers made contact with the slick wetness, sliding effortlessly through your folds and parting them, a sharp gasp escaped your lips. The image in the mirror was boldly erotic, and he continued with practiced movements as he pushed you further into a haze of pleasure.
“Look at how responsive you are,” he murmured, his fingers rolling over your clit. "Visual stimulation can greatly enhance the physical sensations. Watching yourself like this, seeing how much you enjoy it, can intensify everything you feel."
Your stomach churned with a violent delight as he began to put more pressure, rubbing your swollen nub in a circular motion. You gasped, focusing on your reflection–your head tilting back, your eyes fluttering shut before snapping open again. It was intensely arousing to see yourself in such a raw, unguarded state.
"Watching can make the pleasure more acute," he continued, guiding your hand down to feel where his fingers were at work. "Try it."
Your eyes met his in the mirror. “W-What?”
“Here,” he encouraged, taking hold of your hand before placing it at the center of your cunt. The warmth and wetness were startling, even more so because you were witnessing it unfold in the mirror. His fingers guided yours, teaching you the rhythm and pressure that had drawn those sharp gasps from your lips.
"Like this," he murmured, his own hand adjusting yours, showing you how to circle and press. Your breath hitched, seeing the flush spread across your chest and neck, the way his fingers moved above yours.
"It intensifies, doesn't it?"
Your head fell back to his chest. “Y-Yes.”
“Keep going,” he instructed, and you followed, playing with your clit with the right amount of pressure you desired. When his fingers traveled further down, his fingertips grazing your entrance, your jaw slacked open.
You whimpered as he began to sink his digits into your cunt, savoring the way you clenched around him. Your eyes rolled at the back of your head before you instinctively closed your eyes.
You felt his free hand gripping your jaw.
“Eyes on the mirror, Sweetheart.”
You obeyed, reopening your eyes. You settled to watch how his hand flexed as he began to slowly pump his finger in and out of your dripping cunt before adding another to stretch you out. You whined, your own fingers moving fast against your clit.
“Good,” he murmured, burying his face against the side of your neck, face nearly pressing into yours. His stubbled jaw scraped across your skin, causing you to shudder in pleasure. “Keep watching.”
You could barely think straight, your breaths coming in short gasps now, your focus split between the sensations rippling through your body and the erotic display in the mirror. His fingers curled inside you, finding that perfect angle to press against your most sensitive spot.
The room was quickly filled with the lewd sound as he kept a steady pace, fingers rutting into your tight hole, your slick inner walls clenching around him with each thrust. Your hips jerked against him again as a tiny moan escaped your lips.
"I love seeing you like this," he confessed. "Are you close?”
You struggled to answer, your breaths coming in quick, shallow gasps. But he felt the way you clenched around him, a clear sign of your approaching orgasm. His other hand traced a path from just below your breasts, gliding down over the smooth plane of your stomach. He paused, his palm resting just above where your own fingers were playing with your clit, and applied pressure there.
A shudder tore through you, the sensation bordering on overwhelming before a sharp, involuntary whimper escaped your lips. Your body shook as your orgasm washed over you in an intense wave.
The mirror captured it all—the way your head tossed back against his shoulder, your eyes squeezed shut, then snapped open to catch glimpses of his fingers thrusting into your throbbing cunt while his other hand pressed gently on your lower stomach.
Your own movements paused as you tried to catch your breath and Spencer held you, making sure you composed yourself even though his erection was digging into the swell of your ass, itching to be inside of you. Fortunately, he had patience—you, on the other hand, not so much.
You gripped onto his thigh, noting the fabric underneath your palm. “You’re wearing too much clothes.”
Spencer chuckled softly, his breath warm against your ear. "Am I now?"
"Definitely too much.”
"Maybe we should fix that," he suggested, shifting slightly to allow some space for you to turn in his arms. Your hands moved to the buttons of his shirt the moment you faced him, fingers itching to rid him of the unnecessary barrier.
He watched your every move with a slight smile playing on his lips. letting you push the fabric over his shoulder. “Better?”
"Getting there.”
You worked at the buckle of his belt before you unbuttoned his pants, urging him to lift his hips as you slid them off. "How about now?”
You reached out, your hands gliding up his now bare thighs.
"Almost. Still too much."
Spencer responded immediately, his hands removing the last piece of his clothing in a fluid motion. Then he was finally naked, and the sight of his cock, visibly aroused and gleaming slightly at the tip, drew a sharp intake of breath from you.
"Now we're talking," you breathed out, a satisfied grin spreading across your face.
His hands found their way to your waist, urging you to face the mirror again. “Get on your knees for me.”
“You’re really into this mirror thing, huh?"
“It’s hard not to,” he quipped, his hands gently guiding you into position as he settled behind you. "Don’t worry, all the attention is on you."
“Oh, really?” you responded, turning slightly to look up at him. "Or do you just like seeing how good you make me feel?”
“I do make you feel good, don’t I?”
“Cockiness does not suit you.”
“Mhm,” he hummed, gripping your hips with one hand and the other positioning himself right at your entrance. “Arch your back a little.”
You obliged, accentuating the curve of your body. “Like this?”
“Perfect.”
His hand on your hips adjusted you slightly, ensuring the angle was just right. You sucked in a sharp breath, feeling his cock brush past your folds and you both moaned as he pushed himself further into you. Once he was all the way in, pausing to take a breath, he slowly slid back out to give you an experimental thrust.
You whined at the sensation before adjusting your knees, spreading them further apart to give him better access. This new position deepened the angle, and when he thrust back into you, the pleasure intensified.
"Is this better?" He asked breathlessly, watching your expressions in the mirror for any sign of discomfort or pleasure.
You nodded. Your face felt hot, your mind was fogging up. The feeling of being filled was too good, but you wanted something more. Your hips, as if you had no control over them, started to grind against his.
Spencer groaned in pleasure, head going blank. His hands rested on your waist, pulling back to slide himself out before going back in slowly, meeting your movement. But he was treating you as if you were fragile, his thrusts were gentle, and despite how vocal you are with your little whimpers, it still wasn’t enough.
“Baby,” you gasped, pushing your hips back into his. “Can you—can you go faster?”
Spencer's response was immediate, his breath catching slightly at your request. His gaze met yours in the mirror, searching for any sign of hesitation, but when he saw none, he began to pick up the pace.
“Faster?” His hand tightened on your waist as he gave you a hard thrust, jolting you forward. “Or rougher?”
Both, you wanted both, but a breathless yes was the only thing that managed to slip out of your mouth. His grin was sharp, almost predatory. His movements became even more deliberate, each thrust gaining force and speed, driving into you with an intensity that matched the urgency in your voice.
“You like that?” he asked, voice rough with desire as he leaned closer, his breath hot against your skin.
"Yes, I—fuck," You blabbered. The pleasure was building, coiling tightly within you. “S-So good.”
Spencer’s other hand moved forward, finding your chin in the mirror and gently turning your face towards his. “Look at us.”
The reflection showed every detail—your wide eyes, his focused expression, the way your bodies moved together in a perfect rhythm. It was overwhelming, and even more intense when the hand on your waist slid around you, fingers brushing your clit.
You mewled, your back pressing against his chest. The visual of watching it all happen, of seeing how your bodies worked together, amplified everything. The combination of his thrusts and the relentless circles his fingers traced over your clit drove you closer to the edge.
"Spencer, I’m—" you started, breathless, the words catching in your throat as the building pressure within you neared its peak.
"I know," he replied. He could feel it too, the way your body clenched around him, and he was just about at his limit. “Me too… I’m so close.”
You felt every muscle in your body tighten, the coil in your stomach winding tighter and tighter. “Wanna feel you,” you gasped. “Cum… inside…  me.”
Spencer’s response was a deep, guttural groan, his breaths growing even more labored. “Yeah? You want me to fill you up?”
“Please," you whispered, urgency lacing every syllable. “Want your cum in me.”
That did it. He just couldn’t say no to you.
His fingers moved rapidly on your clit as he drove into you. The combination of his deep, determined thrusts and the relentless stimulation of your clit overwhelmed your senses. The room was filled with the sounds of the rhythmic slap of skin against skin, and you could see in the mirror how each movement affected you.
Then, with a few more powerful thrusts, you felt him tense, a deep groan escaping him as he reached his climax. The hot rush of his release inside you was the final trigger your body needed. Your vision blurred, your mind blanked, and you surrendered to the intense wave of your own orgasm, crashing over you with a force that left you trembling and breathless.
Spencer continued to move gently, riding out the aftershocks of your climaxes together, his movements becoming slower, more soothing. As the waves of pleasure subsided, he wrapped his arms around you more tightly, pulling you back against his chest protectively. His breaths were slow and deep, calming against the back of your neck.
You were panting, tired yet blissful, and your eyes met his gaze in the mirror once again.
“How many couples do you think the mirror has witnessed?”
Spencer chuckled softly, his chest rumbling against your back. "More than we can imagine."
He then pulled out from you and a soft sigh escaped you as his hot release slipped from your cunt. Spencer noticed it too, which was why his hand went back between your thighs, his fingers pushing the white, warm liquid back into you.
“Oh my god,” you gasped. “What–you—” You stared at him with wide eyes. “You are filthy.”
“Don’t pretend you’re not enjoying this.”
You sighed, because he was right, more so you were enjoying it too much because his fingers continued thrusting into you and you found yourself pushing back against his hand.
“Spence…” You warned him, although it came out too breathless to make it sound like a real threat.
He grinned, clearly enjoying your response. “Do you want me to stop?”
You paused, pretending to think, but there was no real doubt as you quickly shook your head. Because how could you want him to stop when his touch was so intoxicating, when he was focused so intently on your pleasure more than ever before?
Your eyes drifted back toward the expansive mirror in front of you.
Maybe you should get one for your room.

teach me? // Quinn Hughes
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a drunk conversation leaves your best friend wondering.
AN: based off this anon, this is the first of a few ideas i have for this topic so enjoy part one!🫶🏻
WC: 1.1k
CW: smut, quinn talks you through it, fem masturbating, a little bit of possessive quinn.
Tumblr media
Quinn knows he should leave, he knows he shouldn't break your trust and listen but his feet won't move. He can hear your giggles, not a sign of discomfort in the conversation. A drastic difference from anytime you've been around the guys when these topics are brought up.
“y/n! Are you telling me you’ve never gotten off?!” There was another laugh, he couldn't tell who. Too focused on your answer. How could no one treat you right? No one’s found pleasure between your thighs? Tragedy for them, he thought to himself.
“Oh my god, no. I have gotten off, just not manually? If that makes sense. Like, no one else. No hands, nothing but the handy dandy vibrator.”
He needed to leave, his mind wandering and he knew all the guys would just chirp at him if he walked back with a hard on.
Tumblr media
Everyone started to slowly make their way to bed, calling it a night yourself around 1:30. Your room right across from Quinn’s. You knew he was already locked away, trying your best to stay quiet while you were in and out of the bathroom that shared a wall.
Finally settling in your bed and grabbing your phone, seeing a text from Quinn. Come here, please. Followed with another text, Don't knock, just come in.
“Hi Q.” He was quick to pat his bed, “I need to ask you something, and you can tell me no or to fuck off and I wont ever bring it up again. I just, I need to ask.” You nodded at the man, who's now pacing. “I’m telling on myself and I'm sorry in advance. I was walking by when you and the girls were chatting and somethings been stuck in my head since and it makes me feel so bad because you absolutely don't deserve that kind of shit treatment. Oh god, I'm rambling. Anyways, no one ever made you cum? I can show you, oh my god I need to shut up.”
Your face was flushed, your nerves were setting in. Did Quinn just offer to get me off?
As if he could read my mind, “I don’t have to do it! I can just tell you what to do. Like you get yourself off and I just kind of lead the way.”
“You wanna teach me how to make myself cum?” Your voice was small, he was sure if he wasn’t staring at you he wouldn’t have heard. He nodded.
“Yeah, okay. Teach me, Quinny.”
Tumblr media
That dumb conversation led you here. On his bed, pj shorts on the floor, legs spread and Quinn watching you from his desk chair.
You were both giggly about it. The nerves settled, it seemed a little funny, silly even. But he's your best friend. Who cares? All bad thoughts went away the second your legs spread and the man's eyes went a little wide, pupils blown as he watched your hand roam down your body.
“Fuck. You’re pretty.” He whispered to himself.
This wasn't sexy, well it wasn't meant to be, at least to your brain.
“Uh, like this?" you asked, a little embarrassed. "Fuck, this is stupid."
You were against his pillows, unable to fully look at Quinn who was still at his desk, starry eyes watching you intently.
Your hand was down the front of your body, shaky fingers searching for something you shared you'd never been able to achieve on your own.
Quinn adjusted himself, his growing cock pressed against the fabric of his shorts. Forever wishing he put on boxers before you came to his room.
He didn't know the rules when it came to getting yourself off in front of your best friend. So he kept it a little light, laughed breathily and asked, "Are you even touching your clit?”
His words ran through you, a simple question truly but it was bordering on the dirty talk you desperately craved to come from his mouth.
You squirmed, shrugging, but he was watching your hand move, content with seeing your fingers moving through your folds.
"I think so?" you claimed. "I don't know. It's just, it's too wet to feel anything really."
Quinn felt his breath get stuck in his throat.
You finally looked up at his face and watched his cheeks burn, wondering if he'd move closer if you asked him to.
You dont know what fell out of your mouth, your brain is just on autopilot. Quinn’s now at the edge of his bed. Hands holding your ankle, rubbing softly.
"No, I know. fuck, um-" Quinn swallowed, shifting again. "Move in circles, be a bit softer. Fuck, sweetheart. Yeah, you'll feel it."
So you did, two fingers exploring slowly, up and down between your folds, moving a little higher until you reached the spot he was just picking on you for, the pads of your middle and pointer touching a little bump that made your breath hitch.
“There you go, just like that.” He spoke.
You laughed to yourself, feeling stupid, and floaty, searching for that high. You crinkled your nose, as you did slow circles, soft and shy.
"Oh," you mumbled, mouth parting slightly. Still watching Quinn. He pressed his lips together, eyes flickering from your hand to your face.
"Yeah? Does that feel good?"
"Uh huh, feels good."
You thought you heard him let out a groan.
"Will I come?" you asked, still feeling small. "If I keep doing this?"
You were squirming again, moaning softly, chasing your high. He was watching you, open mouthed.
He was too far gone to try and hide it anymore, when he dragged his palm over himself, you moaned, eyes following his movements.
"Yeah, fuck. just keep doing that. Do what feels good, okay?" voice hoarse and wrecked, "you're doing so good, baby."
The praise made your hips lift from the bed a little, fingers moving down a little further, confidence building as Quinn kept rubbing over his cock, "Holy shit, that's fucking hot. You gonna show me how tight you are?" he croaked.
"Uh huh", head tipped back into the pillows. you wanted him to keep talking. You just didn't know how to ask him.
Your foot slipped, bumping into Quinn’s arm and he caught your ankle, wide palm wrapping around as he held you, making you shiver. "Oh, there you go," he murmured. "That's it, baby. Fuck, you're so good. Gonna have to stretch you out more if you ever want me in there, baby. Fuck. Can't believe you're gonna let me watch you cum. Gonna be a good girl and show me how bad you want it? Won't ever need anyone else after this. Just me and you."

Age Is Just a Number…Right? - Luke Hughes
Tumblr media
Summary: Luke. Age gap. Jack being a menace as usual, making sure you're not getting away that easy. Warning: Implied sexual situations, mature language, flirtation, age gap (6 years)
Note: Hey, lovelies! So, originally, this fic was all about Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith, but then I realized—Will is 19, and honestly, he’s just a baby to me. Even if he said he loves older woman. Boy go back to kinder garden. (Sorry Will, love you, I promise!) So, I decided to swap in the Hughes boys instead. I’ve gotta be honest, it gave me a bit of a headache. Now, this started as a quick, short fic. I swear, I had every intention of keeping it short. But, well… 7048 words later, here we are. I got hit with a ton of ideas and feelings, and the story just kind of... grew on me. You’ll probably notice the tone/style shifts halfway through, and I’m definitely sorry for that!
But hey, I hope you all enjoy it despite the wild ride! ❤️ For more fun: masterlist
The first thing you notice is warmth.
A heavy arm draped over your waist. The steady rise and fall of breath against the back of your neck. The scent of clean laundry, cologne, and something distinctly him clinging to the pillow beside you.
The second thing you notice—you are not in your own bed.
Your stomach flips as your brain reboots, sluggishly piecing together fragments of last night.
The blind date.
Luke.
His charming smile. The way his chestnut curls fell into his eyes when he laughed. The way he leaned in when you spoke, like you were the only person in the room. The teasing brush of his fingers against yours when he reached for his drink. The electricity that crackled between you when you finally caved—when he kissed you outside the bar, his hands firm at your waist, his body pressing into yours like he couldn’t help himself.
And then… more.
Your face burns as memory after memory floods in. His hands, his mouth, the way he whispered your name like it meant something.
Nope. Not thinking about that.
Carefully, you shift beneath the covers, untangling yourself from his hold. Luke stirs but doesn’t wake, his arm slipping away as you ease yourself upright.
That’s when it really hits you.
He looks so young.
His chestnut curls are a mess, his lips slightly parted, his entire face softened in sleep. He looks… peaceful. Innocent, almost.
A strange unease settles in your stomach.
Your gaze flickers around the unfamiliar room. It’s nice but lived-in—hockey gear shoved into the corner, a few discarded clothes on a chair. Your eyes land on the nightstand, where his wallet sits slightly open.
You don’t mean to snoop. You really don’t.
But something about last night nags at you.
Just a quick peek. Just to make sure.
Fingers trembling, you reach for it, flip it open.
And your heart stops.
Luke Hughes. Age: 21.
Twenty fucking one.
As in, young enough to still pull all-nighters for fun. As in, could still be in college.
And you? You are twenty-seven.
Oh. My. God.
Your hands fly to your phone as you furiously type out a message to your friend.
"WHAT THE HELL?! YOU SET ME UP WITH A 21-YEAR-OLD. I AM A GROWN WOMAN. I PAY FOR MY OWN HEALTH INSURANCE."
No response.
Coward.
Panic thrums in your veins as you stare at Luke—still peacefully asleep, completely unaware that you are having a full-blown identity crisis in his bed.
You need to leave. Now.
Right?
But for some reason, you hesitate.
Because Luke… Luke is the first guy in a long time who actually made you interested. Who made you laugh so hard you snorted into your drink. Who listened—really listened—when you talked, instead of just waiting for his turn to speak. And, well. The man or more like a boy, had managed to get you to orgasm. Twice!
Which, considering your track record, felt almost miraculous.
Your past partners had barely managed to get you there once—if at all.
And now you’re just supposed to sneak out of here like it never happened? Like he was just another bad decision?
Your stomach twists.
But then you glance at the wallet again. Twenty-one.
Yeah. You need to go.
Sliding out of bed as silently as possible, you scan the room for your clothes. Your shirt is on the floor, your jeans halfway under the bed. You grab them quickly, yanking them on with the precision of someone defusing a bomb. Bra? Found. Socks? One is missing, but you’ll live.
Once fully dressed, you tiptoe to the door. Your shoes. They’re outside the room. You remember kicking them off in the hallway.
One deep breath.
You ease the door open, peeking into the dimly lit living room.
Empty.
Good.
You take two careful steps out, eyes locked on your shoes near the front door. Almost there. Just a few more—
“Busted.”
You scream.
Not a blood-curdling horror movie scream, but a very real, very startled yelp that absolutely does not help you maintain any dignity in this situation.
Your body jolts like you’ve just been electrocuted, arms flailing wildly as you spin toward the voice.
There, sprawled across the couch, is a guy watching you like this is the best morning of his life.
Tall. Ridiculously handsome. Light brown hair, messy in a way that suggests he just woke up. Sharp cheekbones. Blue eyes filled with pure mischief.
And a smirk so unbearably smug that you immediately want to punch it off his face.
You clutch your chest, heart racing. “Jesus Christ, who the hell are you?!”
The guy grins wider. “Damn. Didn’t even recognize me? That hurts.”
“Am I supposed to?”You blink, still catching your breath.
His smirk falters for half a second before returning full force. “Oh, that’s good. That’s really good.” He tilts his head, studying you like you’re some kind of rare specimen. “You actually have no idea who I am, do you?”
“Why the hell would I?” Your frown deepens.
He lets out a dramatic sigh, like this is somehow the greatest tragedy to ever befall him.
“You’re telling me,” he starts, sitting up slightly, resting his arms on his knees, fully entertained, “that you came home with my brother, slept with him, and have no idea who we are?”
Your stomach drops.
Brother?
You knew Luke had brothers—he mentioned it—but you had no idea they were famous.
Your eyes flick toward the bedroom, then back to him. “You’re—wait, you’re one of Luke’s brothers?”
He snorts. “Wow. No recognition at all. That is humbling.”
“Should I recognize you?” You narrow your eyes at him.
“Oh, I don’t know.” He shrugs, mock-offended, but there’s a glint of amusement in his eyes. “I guess I’m only one of the most famous people in this city.”
You blink, a little thrown off. “…You’re a local weatherman?”
He chokes, eyes widening. “A what?!”
“You’re acting like I should know you,” you say, raising an eyebrow. “I don’t keep up with the news, but you definitely have the vibe of a guy who points at maps for a living.”
He definitely doesn’t. If anything, he looks more like a kooky stripper with an annoyingly fit body. But there’s no way you’re feeding his ego—this idiot would probably take it as a compliment.
For a split second, he just stares at you, his mouth hanging slightly open.
Then, as if the tension snaps, he howls—full-body laughter, throwing his head back and wiping a fake tear from his eye.
“Oh my God,” he wheezes, clutching his stomach. “This is the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
You cross your arms, trying to mask the irritation bubbling up. “Glad I could contribute to your morning entertainment.”
“No, you don’t get it,” he says between gasps for air, leaning forward with an infectious grin. “This is amazing. Incredible. I live for moments like this.”
You raise an eyebrow, your patience wearing thin. “Moments like what?” you snap, unable to hide the rising edge in your voice. Honestly, you’re just relieved Luke didn’t inherit Jack’s over-the-top, obnoxious personality. If he had, you probably would’ve bailed on this blind date five minutes in.
“Moments where I get to witness something so spectacularly awkward, so painfully embarrassing, that it will sustain me for weeks.”
You glare at him with pure annoyance. “I hate you already.”
He clutches his chest dramatically. “Ouch. That wounds me.”
“You’ll survive.”
“Oh, no doubt.” He smirks, and for a moment, it almost reminds you of Luke—though the two brothers couldn’t look more different. But that same confidante smile? It’s unmistakable. “Especially since I now have the upper hand in every conversation we ever have from here on out.”
“We’re never having another conversation after this!” You try to sound firm, but your voice cracks, betraying you.
He just grins wider, shaking his head like he’s heard that before. “That’s what you think.”
You exhale sharply, fed up with the entire exchange. “Look, I’m leaving. Forget you ever saw me.”
“Not a chance.” He leans back against the couch, thoroughly amused. “You’re trying to sneak out of my baby brother’s room like a damn criminal. This is gold.”
You scowl again. “I’m not sneaking out.” You fumble with your shoes, trying to get them on while defending yourself. Luckily, the hallway and living room are one open space, making your escape a bit less awkward.
“You literally just tiptoed past me like you’re starring in Mission Impossible.”
You groan. "I was trying not to wake him up." Rolling your eyes, you keep wrestling with your damn laces—of all times to betray you, it had to be now. Frustration bubbles up as you huff, "I need to go."
Jack cocks an eyebrow. "Why?"
You freeze mid-motion, exhaling hard through your nose. "...Just because."
"That's not an answer." His arms fold across his chest, his gaze pressing into you like he’s daring you to crack.
Your stomach twists. Heat rises to your face. You don’t want to say it, don’t want to give him the satisfaction—but the words rip out anyway.
“Because I just found out I slept with a 21-year-old, okay?! I’m 27. That’s a six-year difference! That’s a whole presidential term and a little extra! That’s a—”
You stop, realizing how ridiculous it sounds now that you're saying it.
Jack stares at you, blinking. There’s a long silence before you speak again, but his expression shows no understanding of the mental chaos you’re in.
You sigh and tug at your hair in frustration. “I wasn’t expecting this. I thought maybe he was older, and now… I just don’t know how to feel.”
Jack, for the first time, softens his teasing expression. But it’s clear he doesn’t quite get what you’re saying.
“Well,” he shrugs casually, “you’re still not leaving. You’re stuck here until Luke wakes up.”
“No, I’m not.” You shake your head, stubborn.
“Yes, you are!”
Before you can argue, you hear movement from the bedroom.
“Jack, why are you yelling?”
Shit.
You freeze.
Jack just grins wider.
You turn, and there he is—Luke, standing in the hallway, shirtless, hair an absolute mess, looking at you with adorable confusion.
Jack smirks. “Oh, you know. Just chatting with your date about how she was totally about to dip.”
“Wait. You’re leaving?” Luke’s voice is a mix of confusion and hurt, and suddenly, you feel a wave of guilt wash over you.
You shift awkwardly, caught in the middle of it all. “I just… didn’t want to wake you.”
Jack snickers. “Translation: she found out you’re barely legal and panicked.”
Luke’s eyes flick to his nightstand, where his wallet still sits open.
“…Wait. Is this about my age?" He sounds confused—adorably so. Too adorably.
You open your mouth, but Jack is already cackling.
“Oh, it absolutely is,” Jack says, shaking his head. “She took one look at that ID and nearly had a full-blown existential crisis.”
Your face flushes deep red. Jesus, you really can’t stand that blue-eyed bastard.
Luke blinks, then sighs, clearly frustrated a little bit. “So, last night was… amazing, but now it’s a problem because I’m 21?”
You shift uneasily. “It’s not a problem, exactly. It’s just…”
Jack grins mischievously. “Hilarious?”
You glare at him, a mix of embarrassment and irritation burning through you. “Not the word I was going for.”
Luke tilts his head, watching you closely. “Did it feel weird last night?”
Your face instantly flames. “LUKE.”
Jack cackles. “Ohhh my God, this is so good.”
Luke shrugs nonchalantly. “I’m just saying. You didn’t seem to mind my age when you were begging for—”
You lunge at him, quickly slapping a hand over his mouth. “Don’t. You. Dare.”
Jack, leaning in with barely contained joy, grins wider. “Oh, no, let’s hear it! This is the best! I live for this shit.”
You whip around, shooting daggers. “Do you really have to be here?”
Jack places a hand over his chest, feigning innocence. "Of course I do. I’m just the clueless bystander, watching your meltdown. It’s my duty as a brother. How else am I supposed to tease Lukey later?"
Luke licks his lips, glancing between you and Jack. “Wait… so you’re really freaking out over this?”
You sigh, your frustration starting to boil over. "I just… didn’t realize you were so young."
Jack snickers from the side, clearly enjoying himself. “Oh, no, I think she’s just overthinking it. But hey, it’s cute.”
Luke shoots him a glare. “Jack.”
Jack raises his hands, completely unbothered. “I’m just here to state the obvious.”
You groan, feeling a headache start to form at the base of your skull. "Can I just… go? Please?" The words come out sharper than you mean, but you’re too tired to care.
Luke looks at you, his gaze softening with that same sleepy affection from last night. You almost hate how it makes your chest ache. "You really want to leave?"
You pause for a long moment, considering.
And truthfully?
No.
You don’t.
Last night wasn’t just a fling—it was Luke.
Luke, who had you laughing through dinner, making you feel like you were the only person in the world. He treated you like you were someone worth admiring, someone worth cherishing. And when he kissed you, it felt like the first rainstorm after a drought, washing away everything but the two of you.
And now he’s standing there, messy-haired and sleepy-eyed, looking at you like he’s trying to figure out what’s going through your mind.
Jack, sensing the shift, leans back dramatically. “Ohhh, she’s thinking about it.”
You glare. “Shut up, Jack.”
Jack smirks like a little kid in the candy shop. “Nope.”
Luke lets out a heavy sigh, rubbing his face with both hands, his puppy like eyes softening as he looks at you. "Alright," he mutters, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "Let me make you breakfast before you decide I’m too young to function."
Jack perks up from the couch. “Oh, hell yeah. Stay. Luke makes a mean omelet.”
Luke shoots Jack a teasing glare, his eyes rolling in exasperation as he half-smirks. "Why are you even involved in this?" he says, clearly annoyed but with a playful edge, like he can’t decide if he should laugh or strangle his brother.
Jack shrugs dramatically. “Because I live for chaos.”
You hesitate for a moment, staring at Luke as you battle the urge to stay or run.
“…Fine. One omelet.”
Jack fist-pumps the air. “YES.”
Luke grins like he’s already won. “Good. Because I was going to make you stay anyway.”
You don’t know how you ended up here.
One second, you were committed to sneaking out like a thief in the night. The next?
You’re standing in Luke Hughes’ kitchen, watching him move around with annoying ease, pulling eggs and cheese out of the fridge like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
Jack, of course, is sitting at the kitchen island, grinning like the mischievous idiot he is.
“You look tense,” he observes, propping his chin in his hand and resting his elbows on his knees. “Regretting staying already?”
You shoot him a withering look. “I regret a lot of things. Letting you talk this morning is at the top of the list.”
Jack gasps dramatically, clutching his chest. “Ouch. And here I was, being such a warm and welcoming host.”
You roll your eyes. “You ambushed me.”
Jack shrugs casually, sipping his coffee. “Semantics.”
Luke, bless him, doesn’t engage. He simply smirks to himself as he cracks an egg into a pan, clearly used to Jack’s shenanigans. “Jack, are you actually gonna eat, or are you just here to be annoying?”
“Oh, I ate already. I’m just here for the show.”
You narrow your eyes at him, a smirk playing at the corner of your mouth. “Seriously, what’s your deal? You get some kind of thrill out of torturing me?”
He’s an asshole, but damn, he’s the kind of asshole that almost makes you laugh.
Jack flashes a devilish grin, clearly enjoying the chaos he's creating. "You're sharp. I like that. Smart women are way more fun to mess with." He leans back, arms crossed, his eyes twinkling with mischief as if he's already plotting his next move.
Luke huffs a laugh, the sound full of fond exasperation. He rolls his eyes, his messy hair falling into his face as he nudges Jack with his shoulder. “Just ignore him. He thrives on being a menace,” he says, shaking his head, but you can tell he's not actually mad.
Jack grins even wider, clearly proud of himself. “Yep. It’s what I do best,” he says, puffing out his chest like he’s just announced some kind of grand achievement.
You rest your elbows on the table, watching as Luke flips an omelet with impressive skill. “Okay, I’ll bite—how did you get so good at this?”
“Gotta learn some life skills when you live with Jack. Otherwise, you starve." He shoots his brother a pointed look, one that’s half annoyance, half fondness.
Jack scoffs, dramatically pressing a hand to his chest like he’s been wronged. "That’s unfair. I provide entertainment." His voice is teasing, but there’s a clear twinkle in his eye.
Luke snorts, barely stifling a laugh. "Entertainment doesn’t make up for the fact that you once tried to microwave a frozen pizza."
Your head snaps up at that, eyebrows shooting up in disbelief. "I’m sorry, what?"
Jack groans, cheeks flushing with a rare hint of embarrassment. "It was one time, and the oven took too long!" he mutters defensively, but you can see the red creeping up his neck.
Luke smirks, his eyes gleaming with mischief as he gestures vaguely toward the stove. "You almost burned the apartment down," he points out, no trace of sympathy in his voice.
Jack waves a dismissive hand. "That’s an exaggeration," he says, clearly attempting to downplay the incident, but his voice betrays the tiniest hint of guilt.
Luke shoots you a sly look, his eyes dancing with amusement as he leans in, like he’s about to let you in on a secret. “The microwave was smoking,” he adds, his voice dropping low, the tone almost playful—like he’s about to drop some juicy gossip.
Your jaw drops in disbelief. "Oh my God."
Luke, clearly pleased with the chaos he’s caused, gestures at Jack with the spatula like he’s just won some kind of victory. "See? This is why I learned how to cook."
Jack grins wide, unbothered. "And I get to reap the benefits, so really, we both win," he says with a cheeky shrug, as if his utter lack of skill somehow balances out Luke’s culinary expertise.
You laugh, shaking your head in disbelief. "I don’t know how you put up with him."
Luke smirks,"It’s a daily struggle," he says, voice deadpan, but the small curve of his lips gives away the amusement he’s trying to hide.
Jack grins, shaking his head slightly. “Oh, the betrayal. I’m crushed,” he says, his voice dripping with sarcasm, though the smirk gives him away.
Luke just rolls his eyes and slides the finished omelet onto a plate before setting it down in front of you.
You look down at it, genuinely impressed by how perfect it looks. Then, you glance back at Luke, a little taken aback. "Not gonna lie… this looks really good."
Luke’s grin widens, his eyes briefly locking with yours, the kind of connection that makes the moment feel charged. "Told you."
You pick up your fork, still a little skeptical, and take a bite. Holy hell.
Your eyes go wide in surprise. "Oh my God. This is actually amazing."
Jack leans in, looking smug...again. "See? I wasn’t lying." He gives you a little wink, clearly basking in the moment like he’s somehow been proven right.
Luke smirks, pleased by the compliment. “I take my breakfast very seriously.”
“Clearly. This might be the best decision I’ve made today.” You shake your head, chewing.
Jack gasps dramatically. “Wow. So staying was a better decision than leaving?”
You pause, realizing what you just admitted.
Jack grins like he’s just scored a win, and for a second, you seriously consider wiping that smug look off his face.
Luke’s smile, however, is filled with pure happiness, as if this moment is exactly what he’s been waiting for.
You sigh, stabbing your omelet. “I’m never gonna live this down, am I?”
Jack beams. “Absolutely not.”
Luke leans closer, his voice suddenly lower, more intimate. “I mean, I’m glad you stayed. It’s not every day I get a pretty girl in my kitchen, making my morning way more interesting.”
You freeze, fork halfway to your mouth. His words hang in the air, electric.
“Oh, so now I’m ‘pretty,’ huh?” you tease, trying to maintain your composure, though your heart skips a beat.
Luke raises an eyebrow, a slow, confident smile curling on his lips. “Oh, I thought that was obvious.” His gaze flickers down to your lips, his voice dropping even lower. “You’ve been keeping me on my toes since I woke up.”
Your cheeks warm, but you force yourself to look away, focusing on your omelet. “Flattery won’t make me forget about you being 21.”
Luke’s grin widens, and he leans in a little closer, lowering his voice just enough that only you can hear. “Maybe not. But I think it’s a pretty good start.”
Jack, completely oblivious to the flirtation unfolding right under his nose, leans back on the kitchen island with a self-satisfied grin. “God, I can’t believe I’m witnessing this. I thought I was supposed to be the one who charmed the ladies.”
Luke snorts, rolling his eyes at his brother but keeping his focus on you. “Jack’s the type to talk about it. I’m the type to show it.”
Your breath catches in your throat. That was smooth. Really smooth.
You take another bite of your omelet, trying to hide the smile spreading across your face. “You sure you don’t just want me to stay for the food?”
Luke leans back, his gaze softening as he gently takes your left hand in his, his thumb slowly tracing circles over your knuckles. “I mean… if that’s your only reason for sticking around, I won’t complain,” he murmurs, a playful yet tender smile curving his lips. “But I like to think I’ve got more to offer than just my cooking skills.”
His words, along with the warmth in his eyes, wash over you like a wave, pulling you in deeper. You lock eyes with him, your breath catching as your pulse quickens. There’s something in the way he’s looking at you, something that makes it impossible to think straight.
Then Jack clears his throat loudly, and you break the spell, feeling a little embarrassed.
“Alright, alright,” Jack says, clearly enjoying the discomfort he’s just caused. “I’ll leave you two lovebirds alone so you can finish your breakfast in peace. No need to make me a third wheel.”
You roll your eyes, but Luke doesn’t seem to mind. He just shrugs, unfazed.
“Good idea. Go entertain yourself, Jack.”
Jack winks. “Don’t mind if I do.” He stands up and heads for the door, adding, “You two just make sure to keep it PG—some of us don’t need to see that much chemistry before our coffee kicks in.”
You watch as Jack exits, still grinning like the mischievous brat he is.
As the door clicks behind Jack, the quiet of the kitchen settles in, leaving just you and Luke alone, the lingering tension between you two impossible to ignore. Luke shifts, his hands still resting on your hands as he pulls you gently into his lap. Your heart beats a little faster at the sudden closeness, but you refuse to let the thrill of it distract you from the conversation you know needs to happen.
You take a deep breath, looking up into his eyes—eyes that are soft but hold that familiar spark of mischief, the kind that makes it hard to think straight. He tilts his head slightly, a playful smirk tugging at his lips as he runs his thumb over your hand, tracing slow circles. The warmth of his touch makes your breath hitch, but you bite your lip, determined to have this talk.
“Luke,” you start, your voice softer than you intended, “We need to talk about last night. About... us.”
Luke's expression changes, the playful gleam fading into something more intense. He doesn’t pull away, though. Instead, he tightens his grip on your waist, pulling you just a little closer, and his voice drops an octave. “I thought we were past talking. I thought we were just... enjoying each other.”
His words make your pulse quicken, but you hold firm. You need to address this.
“I’m serious,” you say, your voice steady, though your chest betrays you with its nervous flutter. “I need to know where this is going, Luke. You’re 21, I’m 27. That’s a six-year difference. I’ve been through more in my life. I want a family soon. I want stability. Not... something fleeting.”
Luke’s gaze darkens, and his thumb continues its slow, soothing motion over your skin, but there’s a new intensity in his eyes. He’s quiet for a moment, absorbing your words. The air feels thick with unspoken thoughts, the weight of what you’ve just said hanging between you.
“You think I don’t want the same things?” he asks, his voice steady but with a sharp edge, not defensive—more... thoughtful. “I’m not some kid just looking for a fling. I’ve thought this through. I’m looking for something real. I’ve spent too much time in meaningless situations to want that anymore. I went to our date because I was looking for something serious. And my friend told me you’d be looking for the same thing.”
He lets your words settle, his eyes never leaving yours. “After spending the night talking with you, I felt like I wasn’t just talking to someone who’s interesting—I felt like I was talking to someone who gets it. Someone who’s looking for the same kind of connection. I’m not here for something that’ll fizzle out in a few weeks. I’m here because... I think you might be the person I’ve been waiting for.”
His words hit you in a way you weren’t prepared for. You’re caught off guard, unsure how to respond, but something stirs inside you. Something warm, something you didn’t expect. You can feel the truth of what he’s saying in your chest, and for the first time, you start to question the assumptions you’d made.
“Yeah, but you’re still figuring things out,” you say, your voice shaky now, a trace of worry creeping in. “You’re just starting out in life. Maybe you don’t want the same kind of commitment I do. I need someone who’s already ready to settle down.”
Luke doesn’t hesitate. His fingers slide up to your jaw, his touch firm but tender, like he’s grounding you to the moment. His gaze holds yours, no longer playful, but filled with something deeper. Something real.
“I’m ready for that,” he murmurs, his voice soft but full of conviction. “I know what I want. And I want you. If you’re worried about my age, let me show you I’m more than just a number.”
His words are almost a whisper, but there’s a quiet confidence in them that sends a thrill through you. His lips are so close now, you can feel his breath on your skin as he leans in, his forehead resting against yours. “I’m not asking for a lifetime yet, but I’m asking for the chance to prove myself. To prove that I’m capable of giving you the kind of future you want.”
You close your eyes, your breath catching in your throat. He’s not backing down, and the sincerity in his words leaves you no room to doubt him. But still, you can’t help but voice the doubts that swirl in your mind.
“I don’t want to get hurt, Luke,” you whisper, finally letting yourself admit the fear you’ve been pushing down. “I’ve been through enough heartache. And if you don’t want the same things I do, if you’re not ready for it... I don’t know if I can take that risk.”
Luke leans in just a little more, his lips brushing against your cheek before he pulls back slightly, his hands cradling your face. He’s close enough that you can feel the warmth of his skin, the steadiness of his gaze. “I’m ready for you. Ready for everything that comes with it,” he says, his voice resolute. “I wouldn’t be here, sitting with you like this, if I wasn’t.”
You search his eyes for any sign of hesitation, but there’s none. What you see instead is determination—an unspoken promise that, for all his age, he knows what he wants and is willing to fight for it.
The air between you two shifts, the quiet between you no longer heavy with doubt, but filled with something new. Something that makes your pulse race.
“Okay,” you whisper, your voice barely audible. “Then show me.”
At that, his lips crash against yours, the kiss deep and slow, filled with all the unspoken things you’ve both been dancing around. His hands slide to your back, pulling you closer as the kiss deepens. Your hands find their way to his curls, tugging him in as if you can’t get close enough. The world around you fades away—there’s only the feeling of his mouth against yours, the pressure of his body against yours, the shared certainty that whatever this is, it’s more than just physical.
When you finally pull away, both breathless, Luke grins, his forehead resting against yours.
Luke leans back a little bit, his eyes gleaming with that mischievous glint as he watches you, a teasing smile playing at the corners of his lips. "You know," he says casually, his voice thick with satisfaction, "I have to admit... I’ve never had a night quite like that. You really know how to use that beautiful mouth of yours."
You glance over at him, raising an eyebrow. "Oh? What do you mean?"
Luke shifts a little closer, his grin widening. "Well, I’ve had my fair share of nights, but... last night? You...You were next level. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to be that blown away."
You feel your cheeks flush, a mix of embarrassment and flattery. "Really? Well, I kinda feel the same. I’ve never... finished two times in one night."
Luke’s eyes narrow in surprise. "What?! Baby, that wasn’t even that much. I think we can go for four or five next time." He winks, his tone playful, but there's a hint of challenge in his voice.
You laugh, trying to hide the blush creeping up your neck. "Is that so? You really think you can keep up?"
Luke smirks, leaning in just a little closer, his voice low and confident. "Oh, I’m definitely up for the challenge. You just wait."
You raise an eyebrow, a teasing smile forming on your lips. "Maybe this whole 'young boyfriend' thing isn’t such a bad idea after all... Good stamina and all that."
Luke grins, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Told ya!" He leans in, planting a series of quick, soft kisses across your face and neck, each one sending a delightful shiver through your skin. You can't help but laugh at his actions, brushing your nose against his cheek as your giggles mix with his gentle kisses.
Just as you're starting to recover from his playful assault, a voice slices through the moment like an ice-cold splash of water.
"Can you drop the sex talk, guys?" Jack's voice rings out from the kitchen doorway, dripping with disgust but clearly amused by the whole situation. "I didn’t need to know this much about my little brother."
You freeze, eyes wide, before you turn to Luke, who looks utterly unfazed, that smug, victorious grin plastered across his face. It’s as if he’s just won some kind of prize, and he's wearing it like a badge of honor.
Embarrassment creeps up your neck, but before you can even process the awkwardness, you find yourself laughing. The tension dissolves in the shared amusement of the moment. Luke just shrugs casually, looking way too pleased with himself.
"Relax, Jack. It’s called maturity," you reply with a wink, and Luke chuckles, pressing another kiss to your cheek.
Jack groans dramatically, rolling his eyes. "You two are gross. And seriously, for the future, we need some rules. These walls are way too thin. I do not need to hear you two in action. Thank God I wasn’t home yesterday."
You let out a horrified gasp, hiding your face in Luke’s neck. "Jesus, Jack," you mumble, half laughing, half mortified.
Luke just keeps laughing, clearly entertained by the situation. "You heard nothing. Just a couple of adults figuring things out," he teases.
Jack mutters something under his breath before calling out with a playful, exaggerated gag. "God, I need to vomit. You two are so disgusting."
"Guess this means you're sticking around, huh?" Luke whispers against your mouth, his voice low and warm, sending another wave of heat through you.
You nod, content, leaning into him with a soft smile. "Guess so," you murmur, brushing your lips against his in return.
Jack, clearly fed up with the display, huffs dramatically and walks away with an exaggerated sigh. "You two are the worst."
As he exits, you look up at Luke, feeling that warmth in your chest—the comfort, the excitement, all mixed together. You can get used to mornings like this, even if it means dealing with Jack’s teasing. Or, you think with a smirk, maybe you’ll just strangle him in his sleep. Problem solved.
Luke catches the glint in your eye and chuckles, clearly knowing exactly what you’re thinking.
“Careful,” he says with a playful smirk, “I’d hate to lose my new favourite person just because you can’t handle my brother.”
You laugh, pulling him in for one last kiss.

You were running, your heart racing, your lungs begging for a little more air – all you could offer now were quick breaths as your brain panicked. The screams echoing behind you made it hard for you to think straight, were they fans or paparazzi? It doesn't matter when you have to decide between running to your death or hiding.
All you wanted for that afternoon was coffee and a chocolate cake, you thought you could do it alone – how naive.
With nowhere to go you crossed the street without looking – getting run over didn't seem like such a bad option now – and entered the first store you saw. Looking around quickly your eyes landed on a man in the children's section – he was tall, wearing an impeccable suit, his expression was serious, but he was in the children's section so it couldn't be that bad. Without thinking twice you ran across the store until you stopped in front of him.
“Please, I need help.” You stood between him and the clothes rack, your eyes slightly wide and your breathing labored.
“What? Who is-?”
“Please, just stay still.” You grab him by the shoulders, positioning him so that his silhouette completely covers yours.
He opens his mouth to protest but quickly closes it as he analyzes you. You are panting, your hair disheveled, your hands shaking slightly and your body is tense. You really needed help. He stays in the position you put him in and doesn’t move a muscle.
The screams start to get quieter, your body relaxes and you release the breath you didn’t even know you had been holding.
“Thank you, you saved my life.”
He doesn’t answer right away, keeping his posture firm over you.
“Does this happen often?” he asked, keeping his voice low so as not to attract the attention of anyone in the store.
You let out a laugh, looking over his shoulder to see the store window, the street seemed calmer now.
“All the time, but it’s usually more controlled, I’ve never had to turn strangers into human shields” you pulled away, now looking at him properly for the first time, and damn, he’s handsome.
“You should walk around with some security, it doesn’t seem very safe to me to walk around alone.”
“I know, I have one, but I thought I could buy a damn coffee by myself.”
He raised an eyebrow, clearly not approving of the idea.
“Doesn’t seem like a very smart plan to me”
“Oh, you swear Sherlock?”
He raised an eyebrow, the corner of his mouth curling up slightly.
“Was that supposed to be an insult?”
“Okay, you helped me and I’m being an idiot.”
You didn’t mean to be rude to him, you were just frustrated that you couldn’t do something as simple as buying an afternoon coffee without the place filling up with people.
Don’t project your frustration onto him, you think.
“Excuse me, what’s your name?”
He seemed to be considering whether it was worth sharing this information with you. You couldn’t judge, if the situation were the other way around you probably would have run away already.
“My name is Aaron.”
He’s crazy enough, apparently.
Aaron just stood there staring at you as if silently asking, what about you?
“Excuse me, don’t you know me?” you asked, genuinely confused.
“Should I?” he asked, his brow slightly furrowed.
You opened your mouth in surprise. What was natural for you – people knowing you, knowing your name, sometimes even what you had for breakfast – meant nothing to him. It was almost surreal.
“You really don’t know me?”
“No,” he crossed his arms, “But you don’t seem upset, so I don’t see the problem.”
“Are you kidding?” you laughed, “That’s refreshing.”
It wasn’t that you didn’t like being famous, on the contrary, you loved it. It took years of sacrifice to get where you are, training and training until exhaustion. But it’s times like these, when you try to do something simple – like buying a coffee by yourself – and you can’t, that fame shows its price.
“Really?”
He looked as confused as before, and as if it were possible, more handsome than he had been two seconds ago. Your gaze quickly dropped to his hand, he wasn’t wearing a wedding ring. Would the universe be so kind to that extent?
What did you have to lose? You already had the no, now the only way was to go after the humiliation.
“Although it’s sad when a handsome man doesn’t recognize me.”
He blinked in surprise, his mouth opening and closing as if he didn’t know how to respond to that.
“Excuse me?”
“I’m kidding.” You reassure him, suppressing a smile. “I interrupted your shopping, I’m sorry about that.”
“No need to apologize, I still don’t know what I came to buy anyway.”
“You..don’t know?” you asked amused, he doesn’t seem like the type of person who just goes out to browse the stores.
He hesitates, his gaze shifting between you and the clothes on the rack.
“It’s okay, you just met me, you don’t need to tell me.”
“How much do you know about children?” The hesitation is still palpable in his voice.
“Um..I’m the older sister and I used to be a babysitter, so I guess that’s enough.” You answer confused, trying to remember “Why?”
“I need a gift for my son to take to a party, but I have no idea what to get him,” he confesses, sounding frustrated.
This man just got a thousand times more handsome. Okay, focus.
“How old is he going to be?” You ask, already scanning the clothes around you.
“Seven.”
“Okay, let’s pick out some neutral clothes. Do you mind if I keep this on?” You point to the hoodie and sunglasses.
“No, it’s okay, I don’t want to attract a horde of zombies.”
“Are you trying to badmouth my beloved fans?” You feign an offended expression. They can be scary when they want to be, but you won’t admit it out loud.
“Me? Never. Although I wasn’t the one running away from them a few minutes ago.”
You cross your arms, feigning indignation, but the amused gleam in your eyes gives you away.
“Are you a career management expert now? Next time I’ll let forty people run after you and we’ll see what your first reaction will be.”
“Touché,” he laughs, raising his hands in surrender.
You grab your phone, remembering to tell your security guard where you are and asking him to come pick you up in twenty minutes.
“What do you work with?” You look away from your phone and look at him.
“What?”
He looks at you with a look that says, seriously?
“You’re famous, right? So what do you do?”
“Oh yeah, I’m a singer,” you reply with a smile.
“Have you ever won a Grammy?” He asks, his tone not arrogant, but curious.
“Honestly, I think the legacy that remains counts more, but yes, i have Grammy' s.”
“Grammy' s? Like, more than one?”
You smile at him.
“You really have no idea who I am, do you?” You let out a dramatic sigh. “I already thought you were handsome, you don’t need to convince me.”
He stops laughing, looking disconcerted.
God can’t blame a woman for trying.
“I think this outfit here is nice.”
You change the subject quickly, not that you didn’t want to blatantly hit on him for the rest of the day – something you could easily do – but he seemed so disconcerted by your advances that you didn’t want to be inconvenient.
“Yeah, this one looks nice.” He picks up the outfit, examining it.
Chris – your security guard – enters the store looking for you. Man, I need to give him a raise, you thought.
Quickly looking over the counter, grabbing your store card and a pen, you write down your personal number and hand it to Aaron.
“You saved me today, if you need someone to pay your bail, I’ll be that guy. Of course, it will depend on the reason you were arrested, I still have my ethics.” You smile “If you want tickets to a show I think it’s easier to get, thanks anyway.”
He takes the card and puts it in the inside pocket of his suit.
“I don’t plan on getting arrested, but I appreciate the offer.”
Halfway there you turn to him again.
“Aaron?”
“Yes?”
“I’m serious, text me, I’d love to meet you again.”
You head back to Chris, leaving a stunned Aaron behind.
No one can say you didn’t try.
And God, for the next few days you and your phone would be one body.

“hungover” - hotch x fem!reader
after a girls’ night in, you wake up next to your boyfriend.
1380 words - FLUFFY FLUFF
cw; mentions of alcohol and food, implied age gap?, typical hangover, jemily agenda (sry not sry)
a/n: I wrote this on my phone on vacation bc I have a serious problem
———————
The first thing you notice when you wake up is that you are not in your clothes.
You aren’t in your clothes. And you only realize it because of the scent wafting up your nose. Sea Salt Breeze - the cologne you’d gotten him for Christmas last year - emanates from the t-shirt that envelopes your upper half. You dip your chin for another whiff, breathing him in deeply. You want the smell inscribed into your brain.
You feel the bed dip and creak and you instinctively shut your eyes, playing possum as Aaron pads into the bathroom. The door whines as he shuts it most of the way, not totally closing it because he thinks you’re still asleep and that the sound of the door shutting will wake you.
Each of your senses turns on one at a time, like your brain waves run on dial-up Internet. You open your eyes and the room is mostly dark, save for the sliver of light creeping in through the outline of the curtains. You run the palm of your hand along Aaron’s sheets and marvel over how soft they are - Egyptian cotton, he’d told you once before.
Your head hurts, but only mildly. You’d certainly been drunker before, but last night was still up there. Penelope made her mojitos strong.
You slowly sit up in the bed as Aaron opens the door, flicking the bathroom light off in the same motion. Your eyes meet his and he cracks a small smile. “Thought you’d still be asleep,” he muses. You love his pale blue boxers and seeing the hair on his legs. His calves are crazy defined - he’s a runner, after all, but still. You rarely see him in anything but a suit and tie, so it’s always a treat. “I didn’t wake you, did I?”
You shake your head, wincing slightly at the movement. Maybe you’re a little more hungover than you thought. “I was already awake,” you mumble, running a hand over your face. “Did you put me in your own clothes last night? I have pajamas in my drawer,” you point out, gesturing to the second drawer of Aaron’s dresser, the one that contains your set of pajamas, a few spare pairs of underwear, and a couple of emergency outfits, just in case you end up sleeping over at his place.
It happens more often than not, so you keep the drawer decently stocked at all times.
“You insisted,” Aaron climbs into the bed, reaching for you. He tugs you to him and you roll over onto your side, and then halfway onto your tummy so that your leg drapes over his and your palm rests flat on his chest.
You can hear his heart beating. It’s like a metronome, steady and guiding and calm. You feel his pointed chin nuzzle into your hair and then, his lips, quick yet effective, against your forehead.
Flashes of last night run through your head. You, Emily and JJ, over at Penelope’s apartment. A symphony of girlish giggles, talking about Emily and JJ’s upcoming wedding date, drinking at least three pitchers of mojitos among the four of you. Watching Dirty Dancing and gabbing the entire time, realizing it’d be a bad idea to drive yourself home, and calling Aaron to come get you.
When he arrived, you called him Hotch and apologized for him having to come get you, and he reminded you that he was Aaron and he was your boyfriend and he would pick you up anytime you needed it. You were determined to play the Dirty Dancing soundtrack on the ride home, fumbling with his phone until you found it.
You belted out (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life and demanded Aaron sing along. He admitted that he didn’t know all the words and you gave him a stern lecture until you started laughing so hard that you were in tears. Traffic lights reflected Christmas ornament colors in Aaron’s brown eyes as he drove, occasionally glancing over at you.
You swore you saw the corners of his mouth twitch into a smile as you berated him for not knowing the words to such a classic song.
And then, once you were back at his place, you sat on the edge of the bed and stared at your shoes dumbly until Aaron offered to help you take them off. “Laces too hard,” you mumbled, and Aaron just hummed in agreement before kneeling down to help you.
And then he helped you out of your clothes. He went for your drawer, and you threw a pillow at him. “The college t-shirt,” you demanded with these Bambi-esque eyes.
“Arms up, baby,” Aaron said as he slid his law school t-shirt onto your upper half. He saved that specific term of endearment for times like these, when he was taking care of you, when he himself was exhausted. You could tell he was, too, not only because he kept yawning, but because of that glazed-over look in his chestnut eyes.
You glance down at the words George Washington University, printed over your chest.
Aaron’s arms around you tighten for just a moment as he embraces you, and you dig your face a little further into his chest. “No Jack today?” You ask, your voice coming out croaky.
“At his grandparents’,” Aaron murmurs, and you yawn. He strokes your hair. “How’s your head?”
“I haven’t had any complaints so far.”
Aaron’s hand freezes in your hair, and you lift your head, smirking at him. His mouth has formed a straight line, but you snicker and you can tell he’s trying not to smile at your dirty joke. “Degenerate,” he calls you.
“Prude,” you tease back, inching closer to kiss his jaw briefly before laying your head back down. “It hurts,” you answer his question. “But not as bad as it could.”
“That’s good,” Aaron comments, his hand running through your hair again, gently, the world’s most relaxing and least effective hairbrush. It feels nice, but his hands are so big that his fingers snag on the tangles, accomplishing nothing but making you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Nothing wrong with that, though.
“Do you want some Tylenol for your headache?” Aaron asks, and you just curl up into him even more. He’s so warm, and sturdy, and it’s so rare that you get mornings like this. Either you’re both working or Jack has a soccer game or there’s something else going on. It’s nice just to lay around with him, to be mildly hungover and pretend like that’s the only thing going on in either of your lives.
“That would require getting out of bed,” you protest, and feel Aaron’s arms tighten around you. He’s a very doting boa constrictor.
“How about I get it for you, then?” He offers, and you shake your head and shift all your weight onto him. He chuckles, a deep, throaty noise you know you’re only privy to for about twenty minutes right after he’s woken up. “So that’s a no.”
“That’s a no,” you confirm, settling back in to your original position.
You lay like that with him, in comfortable silence, for a few minutes. Until it feels like you’ve melded into one being. Then Aaron finally shifts under you. “Honey, my arm’s asleep,” he whispers, as though he’s afraid to disturb you.
You slither off of him, then clamber out of bed with no amount of grace, going so far as to trip over the corner post of the bed. As Aaron sits up, you exclaim, “I’m okay!” and hold your hands out to steady yourself.
Aaron stifles a laugh and you watch him stand from the bed and he walks towards you, steadying you with one of those gargantuan hands on your shoulder. He then lifts that hand to tip your chin up. You step forward in a silent dance, wrapping your arms around his neck and standing on your toes to kiss him. “Oh, shit,” you murmur. “I bet I have really awful morning breath.”
He just blinks a few times, and then offers you a shit-eating grin. “Yeah, honey, you kind of do,” he admits. You lightly punch him in the pectoral and then head to the en suite to brush your teeth.

tiktok made me do it!gf vs tf141 bf
They thought they won.
After terrifying you with fake break-ins, kidnappings, and other various scare tactics, TF141 had spent the last few days walking around like undisputed champions of the prank war.
But what they didn’t know?
You were about to end their entire legacy in one night, you were coming for him. and his stupid lil friends too.
The Setup
They were all in your house tonight—your bf and his lil buddies—because they had an early deployment in the morning and they all needed to arrive on time and together.
So, naturally, they had taken over your living room, sprawled out on couches and armchairs, drinking, bullshitting, and talking about their last great victory over you, teasing you (even though you distinctly remember winning, but who’s keeping score, right?)
The fools.
They had no idea what was coming.
You had spent the last twenty minutes slinking under the bed like a goddamn cryptid, phone in hand, camera rolling.
You knew exactly what was going to happen.
Sooner or later, your boyfriend would come into the room, strip off his gear, sit on the edge of the bed, and—
Grab. His. Ankle.
It was perfect.
Captain Price – "I oughta throw you out the window"
Tumblr media
Price was the last to go to bed, the sounds of his team snoring away in your living room came through when he opened the bedroom door, slinking in quietly. You had made it look as though you were curled up on the bed asleep already, which was believable as he’d fucked your brain loose not too long after dinner when the boys went out to rough house and play some football to work off their bloated bellies full of your warm food.
He let out a deep, tired sigh, kicking off his boots before sitting on the edge of the bed, rubbing his temples.
It was time.
You reached out, grabbing his ankle with the coldest, deadest grip possible.
"WHAT IN THE BLOODY—FUCKIN’ HELL?!*"
PRICE STRAIGHT UP PUNCHES THE FUCKING WALL.
He jumps so hard that his knee collides with the nightstand, knocking his phone off. His entire soul leaves his body for a full three seconds.
"FUCKIN’ JESUS—"
The door bursts open, Ghost and Gaz standing there with their guns drawn, Soap behind them.
"WHAT HAPPENED?" Gaz shouts.
"SWEETHEART, ARE YOU OKAY?!" Soap yells, looking at the lump you formed under the bed.
Price is panting. Hands on his knees. Looking like he’s about to have a stroke.
And then—
You cackle.
From under the bed.
Price immediately knows.
"YOU FUCKIN’—" He grabs your arm and yanks you out from under the bed.
You are crying with laughter, camera still recording. "JOHN, YOU JUMPED SO HIGH—"
Price glares at you. "I oughta throw you out the fuckin’ window, sweetheart."
Soap, dying laughing now that he sees there’s no threat. “SHE GOT YOU GOOD, MATE."
Ghost, shaking his head as he takes his finger off the trigger of his gun, sliding it into the waste of his pants. "That might’ve actually taken years off your life, old man."
Price grumbles, rubbing his chest. "I felt my fuckin’ soul leave me, love."
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick – "you fuckin dick"
Tumblr media
Gaz strolled into the bedroom after lunch like nothing was wrong.
His phone was in his hand, scrolling through some dumb video, completely unaware that you were camped out under the bed, ready, waiting for him to be off his guard so you could finally get your revenge.
He sat down on the edge of the bed, letting out a relaxed sigh.
And then?
You grabbed his ankle.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!?"
GAZ LEAPS STRAIGHT UP LIKE A FUCKING CARTOON CHARACTER.
His entire body leaves the bed.
HE LANDS ON THE NIGHTSTAND.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH—"
"KYLE?!?" You hear from the living room, loud footsteps thundering across the house,
"The fuck just happened—" Ghost burst into the room, gun raised as he checked the corners and behind the door.
Gaz fucking scrambles BACKWARD onto the bed, staring wild-eyed at his feet, leg still twitching. You can see it all in the floor length mirror in front of your bed, typically used for other shenanigans.
Soap is next into the room, John not far behind him, the latter looking more mildly annoyed than concerned about his comrade.
"SOMEONE GRABBED ME! SOMEONE FUCKIN’ GRABBED ME—"
And then—
You laugh.
From under the bed.
Gaz goes silent.
You peek out from underneath, wheezing. "Gotcha."
"BABY, YOU FUCKING DICK—" His head slowly comes over the edge, fear still evident in his eyes.
Soap falls over laughing. His gun is still in his hand as he clutched his stomach. "BRO, SHE GOT YOU."
Ghost is wheezing. "He looked so scared, mate—" He grabs your hand, pulling you from under the bed with a gentle tug, letting you pull and push on him as you climb back to your feet, you’d been under there for a while, your joints sore.
Gaz throws a pillow at you. "I hate you so much, I swear to fuckin’ God—" You cackle all the way to the kitchen, headed for the dessert you’d made as a little reward for your menace behavior.
Simon "Ghost" Riley – "prank war babe!"
Tumblr media
Ghost is calm when he enters the room.
Like, unnaturally calm. And granted you should have felt bad for ruining that peace, for putting him on edge in that moment, and a small part of you did but you also knew you’d make it up to him later, probably on your knees, probably with tears streaming down your face.
He doesn’t even look at his surroundings, just unholsters his gun, places it on the nightstand, and starts unzipping his jacket.
He sits on the edge of the bed, sighing.
And you grab his ankle. And you stare at the mirror, phone recording as you watch him.
Ghost freezes.
Like, FULL STOP.
His head snaps downward, staring at his foot.
For a full five seconds, he doesn’t move.
Then—
He grabs his gun, standing up with it pointed at the foot of the bed.
"WHO THE FUCK—" He unlocks the safety in one movement, and you hear a round click into the chamber, watch his finger clench around the trigger, you panic.
You scream.
"WAIT—IT’S ME—" And try to clamber backwards, trying to avoid the area he was aiming incase he did fire.
Ghost gets down on his knee, perks under the bed and sees you in the shadows, next thing you know, he yanks you out from under the bed like a goddamn horror villain.
The second he sees your face, he squints, trigger finger relaxing.
"Baby… what the fuck."
You wheeze. "PRANK WAR, BABE—"
Ghost sighs so deeply that it sounds like he’s reconsidering his entire life again.
"Jesus Christ, love."
Meanwhile—
Gaz and Soap are fucking LOSING IT in the doorway, having come running when they heard your scream.
“YOU ALMOST GOT SHOT, SWEETHEART—" Soap sounds just as horrified as you were, his hand on his chest. He glared at Simon. “The fuck were you thinking, LT!”
Gaz sighs stepping into the room to help you up off the floor. “Gave her a right fright, Ghost-” He tugs your hand gently, helping you up right.
John has joined Soap in the door, sighing as he looks at the situation. “Best be making that up to her later.” He chuckles as Gaz brushes the dust bunnies off of you.
Ghost just groans, tossing his gun onto the bed. "I knew you’d fuckin’ pull some shit like this eventually."
Johnny "Soap" MacTavish – "ready for a snooze"
Tumblr media
Soap is humming to himself as he walks into the bedroom, stretching, yawning. He’s ready for a nap, you wore him out this morning before the crew had arrived, and preferably he’d like to take the nap wrapped around you.
“BABY, YA READY FOR A SNOOZE?” He yells, slipping his shirt over his head and tossing it onto the floor.
He plops onto the bed, completely unaware.
Until—
You grab his ankle.
"FUCKIN’ HELL—"
HE SCREAMS LIKE A FUCKING CHILD.
Johnny FULL-BODY FLAILS, tripping over his shirt and landing on the floor, trying his best to scramble backwards towards the door. KICKING HIS FEET SO HARD THAT HE ACTUALLY KICKS YOU IN THE FACE.
"AHH—FUCK—" Your voice is muffled, your hand cupping your face to staunch the blood flowing from your nose.
Soap, FREAKING OUT flips onto his belly, eyes wide as he takes in the visual of you."BABE?!? WAIT—BABY?"
You roll out from under the bed, clutching your fucking nose. "OW, WHAT THE FUCK—"
Soap, horrified, replaces your hands with his own and you’re almost positive that there’s tears in his eyes, a different kind of fear in them. "OH MY GOD, BABY, I FUCKIN’ KICKED YOU, I’M SO SORRY—"
Meanwhile—
Ghost, Gaz, and Price are on the floor around you, you don’t remember hearing them move in, silent on their feet.
Ghost is removing Johnny’s hands, practically having to slap his hands away "He got you good, doll, I think it’s definitely broken—" He’s gentle in his touch, but you his when he brushes his thumb over the ridge of your nose. “Want me to set it for you? Gonna hurt like a bitch and your eyes are gonna be blacked tomorrow..but it’ll get the job done..”
Gaz is laughing silently, clapping Johnny on the shoulders. "She’s gonna kill you—"
Soap, holding your face, after pushing Simons hands away. “BABY, PLEASE DON’T BE MAD—"
You glare at him, though you know it’s your own fault. “I WAS GONNA PRANK YOU, BUT NOW I’M GONNA KILL YOU.” You shout, wincing as pain flares through your face. “No head tonight, or little videos when you’re gone..I was gonna give you the sloppiest fucking top as a goodbye present in the morning too-“
Soap is on his knees, head in his hands, actual tears flowing "NOOOOOO—"
John sighs, helping you up off the floor as Kyle consoles your boyfriend. “Right lass, you’re okay aside from the nose?” Yoh nod as he leads you to your bathroom, where he knows there’s a first aid kit because Johnny keeps one in every bathroom and the kitchen. “Good. Might be crooked when it’s healed, but you’ll be no less pretty, love.”
Moral of the Story:
The prank war is never over.
And now?
They sleep with one eye open (literally in some cases).
