you've activated my toontown sleeper agent (I NEED TO PLAY IT AGAIN) This is gonna be long so I'll put the reading thing HERE

Dr. Zippety Wonderwhatsit (Just "Zip" for short) was not a generated name, it was handcrafted. "Dr." because I like mad doctor characters, "Zippety" somewhat in reference to "Zebedee" from "The Magic Roundabout", "Wonderwhatsit" to mimic when people say "whatchamacallit", and just shortened to Zip sometimes for peoples sanity.

He was just intended to be a Toontownsona, but has actually now become my fursona. In doing so he's replaced Fatlip, my previous fursona (Though I still cherish Fatlip, since he was made by an old friend I'll never see again)

Zip gets paired with a few of the different characters in TTCC. You've probably seen him with Buck Ruffler and Alton S. Crow, but Dave Brubot is the 3rd addition to his collection of Robot Wives. Zip is also paired with my boyfriends Toon "Cap'n Snappy Gigglesnout". With this, I hope it's obvious Zip is polyamorous!!

Zip does have a sibling, my sisters Toon "Little Pearl" (the kiwi). Though to explain why they're different species and still related? TL;DR what happens when a toon and a cog fall in love + headcanons on how Toons are "born" (drawn into existence) and Zip is the result of a joke, Little Pearl had more thought.

The first gags Zip had were "squirt" and "drop". For Clash players you're probably screaming at the top of your lungs for this combo and in my defence: I thought it was really funny.

A majority of the time you will NOT find Zip without a hat in game, but in art I draw him with nothing added on. This is because he looks so bald in game it hurts my soul. You'll also never find him without those shades, I've never taken them off since the moment I put them on

Zip has influenced both my internet and irl life. During my last hospitalisation I had "toontown fixation withdrawls" and recreated him in Splatoon out of desperation. After that he influenced the decision of getting circle glasses just so I could get matching circle shades, and my favourite sets of clothes that I have bought since his creation are all shades of green (a.k.a my VFX classes worst nightmare). This also means after years of not knowing my favourite colour, it's blatantly obvious what I like now

Zip, like me, is British. Just like me the angrier he gets the more British he sounds (going from "oh my god fuck off die" to "You fucking wanker piss of you tosser. dickhead"

A little ramble: Zip is probably so intertwined with myself because of transgender metaphors. I've seen deers used as trans metaphors with the whole antlers thing, either losing them (mtf) or gaining them (ftm). Sometimes I forget to draw him with antlers but I feel it fits his entire [waves hands] trans thing

FINAL FACT: Zip takes a GREAT PRIDE in his house. It is very well decorated and usually changes around with the seasons (e.g. changing wallpapers to match halloween/christmas). In typing this I realise I've missed a bunch of catalogues in game <- will never recover

Honestly might be able to to something with the gross stuff I saw at the hardware store I used to work at (except make it hot and 141)

Imagine you're a cashier, the only one with early morning availability so you're there at 5:45am for the 6am start. It's always the worst kinds of contractors there: rude, tired, dirty, leering gazes and sexist comments

You're pretty sick of it, but you get paid a bit more than minimum wage and you're done by 11am so, you take it with a cheery smile and fast service

The 141 contracting company starts spending at your store. So much, in fact, that your manager personally takes you aside to mention just how much they do - nearly a million a year - and how no matter what, your job is to be nice and please them

Well, you can do that. You've dealt with crazy, awful old contractors screaming in your face about lumber prices at 6:30am more than once, heard them talking about your tit's or your ass right in front of you - you can handle it

Until the masked one comes in first and hes huge, dark hoodie and cargo pants hanging low on his hips. He hands you 3k in bills only there are bloodstains on them and he watches you closely the whole time you count them out

It's... not a first, but the look he gives you makes you shiver. Pale eyelashes, tall, intimidating

The second is nicer. Too nice, in fact. He charms you before you're even fully awake, and your shift goes by quickly thinking about that winning smile and the way he'd touched your fingers while he handed you a stack of bills... not to mention those soft brown eyes

The third is... intense, for 8am. He rolls on the balls of his feet, stares at you harder than the masked one. He offers to buy you a hot chocolate at the coffee shop next door and grins like you made a joke when you decline

Their boss is fucking dreamy. Even you have to admit it, trying not to look up at his mustached, frankly porno-esque face. He's huge, as tall as the others but thick, with a little pudge around his belly. He trudges in with thick workboots and a stained t shirt, pays for 24k worth of material with a lazy smile on his face like it's nothing

You might ask head cash to move you to the garden center after all...

Upon the last day of late Stanuary works I’m posting this sketch because for some reason it’s resisting my attempts to draw it the style of my other stuff, but I wanted to get it out there anyway. I’ll probably end up finishing it sometime this spring, when I don’t have to focus on Forduary (that’s also giving me trouble) and art for like 4 new D&D characters.

My actual favorite part of wisdom saga is telemachus trying to lean against Athena (he thought about that for .03 seconds and then was like nah !!! :D she's my friend not the goddess of war!!! Good to see that the audacity is running strong in odysseus's family) and then just passed threw her and fell on the floor. And then Athena did not move at all!!! And just stood there looking at him.

i need to talk about vex and percy and why their episode three arc made me cry genuine, real tears (not kidding, tears left my eyeballs and like, it made my tummy ache)

vex is a bad omen, she thinks. her love for anyone is ruinous for them and she genuinely views herself as unlovable. the closer someone gets to her heart, the more likely they are to see that there is something wrong with her and they will reap the negative consequences of that. there’s something sick in her and sooner or later it will rear its head, so she might as well beat it to that.

percy loves her regardless and he makes that clear to her. he doesn’t insist that she is wrong when she admits this because he wants her to understand that even if any of what she said was true? he would feel exactly the same.

he loves her intensely, deeply and he also sees that she is truly terrified and he respects her wishes. he doesn’t fault her for her inability to reciprocate the way he wants in that moment

vex is someone who thinks she is hard to love.

percy cannot think of anything easier.

like, there is nothing righter in this world than the woman he loves.

so yes she cannot say what he wants to hear. it hurts, it isn’t easy, it has every hallmark of a situation that would breed frustration but he still holds her.

percy does not ONCE get visibly or verbally frustrated with her even with the fact that she’s (in my opinion, very intentionally) pushing him away by being dismissive and a little bit of a jerk when they first set up camp and talk. because ultimately, despite vex’s insistence that she can’t love him (and that she cannot be loved), percy sees her and treats her as someone deserving of gentleness and understanding.

she deserves to feel safe, she deserves to feel heard and she deserves to be listened to and that would be true even if she didn’t reciprocate his feelings the way he wanted her to.

Despite living with Lest for the last four years, Twilight can’t help but seek answers to where her brother has gone— and in the process, perhaps dig a bit too deeply into the complexities of gods far older and dangerous then she can truly fathom.

On the otherhand, Celestia “Lest” Sol is having a terrible millenium. Her sister is no longer her sister, her student teleported herself halfway across the continent, and she got herself kidnapped by an old rival trying to attune with the elements of harmony to overthrow the current ruler of Equestria.

At least she gets a toxic yuri moment.

Meanwhile, Chrysalis is having a great time. She’s got kingdoms to conquer and people to feed and a waning god to taunt.

(The Selene Grace hates the sun monarch they deposed five centuries ago as they stay chained to their post, keeping the lunar and solar bodies from crashing into each other. Luna misses her sister, and the easier world where they haven’t hurt each other beyond reparation. Nightmare Moon misses their monstrosity, trapped in a host who’s grief has poisoned them with empathy.

Things are bound to tip. The celestial bodies are not bodies, but prisons, and the amalgamations we call alicorns the key. And something desperately wants to be freed…)

this was supposed to be for the first day of the event and im uploading it literally at the last second of the last day help (its the 15th in some parts of the world still... right???)

when i saw the prompts for the first day i instantly could picture something where all of them were combined, but that task was a bit too ambitous, so i had to cut down the other two

wanted to do something more on the decorative side, so i landed on Mucha for my inspo for this one

i am tired and in need of some cheering up, so here are some domestic headcanons of codywan living together:

living together is different from merely spending time with each other, even if said time is the majority of every day

however, cody and obi-wan find it fairly easy to mesh their routines. that includes work-out and bathroom schedules

obi-wan is a morning person. when he needs not to be, cody prefers to lounge in bed until he's hungry enough for breakfast

that means obi-wan gets the living room for meditation first thing in the morning until cody deigns to make breakfast and snaps him out of it

talking about cooking, cody finds a hobby in trying out new recipes and in learning how to cook. obi-wan, although he can manage basic recipes, has never bothered with cuisine beyond the mess hall of the jedi temple or outside diplomatic missions

he does know how to brew five hundred types of tea and the perfect cup of coffee for cody, but that's different, apparently

cody also takes up baking. he ends up liking it more than cooking, and they settle for taking turns cooking lunch and dinner whenever possible

they have three tookas that followed cody home one day. neither knows where they came from

the tookas live mainly in the temple but if cody is out for longer than a day they cry like devilish creatures from the beyond

there is never a day in which they skip napping. since cody and obi-wan discovered napping together, neither has looked back. if they are busy, that's fine, but otherwise both expect a nap every day

it's the fantasy of every medic that has ever worked with them

they spar a lot. they keep up their training and like getting on each other's nerves by teasing and taunting the other while sparring

on that note, they enjoy playing games against one another, specially scrabble, monopoly, and card games, and try to cheat their way to victory

the rules are that if you get caught cheating, you lose immediately. also you owe the winner a massage

thinking about this, they like solving puzzles together! and doing crosswords (obi-wan) and sudoku (cody) side by side while cuddling on the couch is a preferred activity of the household

tookas might also appropriate their laps during said cuddling but no one's going to get mad at them for that, no sir

on the topic of cuddling! they keep their pda private, but inside their home, they tend to cuddle quite a lot. backhugs, couch cuddles, nap cuddles, meditation-turned-cuddles cuddles...

curiously, they don't sleep cuddling. neither can, except on days when both of them collapse on the bed. usually, they sleep back to back

this is a habit from sharing a tent in war campaigns that has simply not gone away. they also keep it up on missions after the war

also! if obi-wan goes out on a mission, cody follows. while sometimes duty takes them away from each other, cody feels better being obi-wan's back-up and obi-wan's missions go to hell so often that he reluctantly appreciates it too

going back to domesticity, cody likes melodramatic holoseries and obi-wan prefers sober holobooks

since living together, cody has acquired a library of holobooks full of facts and interesting stories and obi-wan is hooked on the worst holoseries ever

they have weekly family/lineage dinners in which cody's closest brothers and obi-wan's lineage (sometimes including master yoda) get together for a meal and a good time

sometimes the number of cody's brothers grow and suddenly they need to move to bigger quarters because the rooms they share certainly aren't big enough for fifty people

they live happily ever after and nothing goes wrong ever and they kiss each other good morning and good night every single day of their lives thereafter. thank you
