Hey, I know Orion Pax was a spontaneous guy and tried to be friendly and sociable, but we do remember that he knew that something was off from the beginning and was trying to figure out what it was, right? Like, the reason Orion Pax wasn't so angry at Sentinel Prime was because it all clicked together for him and made sense, rather than being blindsided by the authority he idealized like D-16 was.

the us american refusal to learn anything about other countries combined with the us american mysticism of britain always leads to some very interesting conversations with well-meaning liberals specifically. because when they find out i lived there briefly the first question is usually "do you want to move back?" and then when i say "no" they look at me as if i grew a second head because they have no idea what the fuck is going on over there. and then i get to be the one to shatter their worldview.
