Joels kind of like a shonen mc in wild life especially the finale, where once he declares you part of his "family" you can't hurt him. Not that you can't try to, everybody except gem and grian tried to kill him many many times, it's just when they do they can barely graze him, hell half the time he's not even aware that they're trying to kill him and even when he is he just shrugs it off (there is something deeply wrong with him)

#it's like after his first death to jimmy he developed an immunity to any “family” related threats #in which he also forgave jimmy and lizzie for killing him in like 2 seconds #like in the finale lizzie tries to blow him up and fails #I'm pretty sure scar's rollercoaster was also supposed to be rigged to kill him but failed (I haven't watched his ep yet)#jimmy brings the ravanger to kill him (again I think) but joel's just like let me help you with that mate #etho tries to help scott kill him but ends up accidently killing scott instead #and he's so nonchalant about all of his “family” members' attemps on his life the way only a shonen mc could be #joel smallishbeans #smallishbeans #wild life #wild life spoilers
