c’mon, did you expect anyone else?

being a middle child with three brothers, raph grew up sharing everything he had—his food, his clothes, his personal space. so when he finds someone he has feelings for, he makes a point that he’s not going to share with anyone.

his brothers prefer to take more subtle, graceful methods of claiming their s/os when they feel threatened. raphael does not have a subtle bone in his body.

if someone tries to hit on you while he’s there, he will physically put himself in between the two of you, glaring down at his prey target until they take the hint (and probably flexing his crossed arms as he does so. he doesnt do all of that lifting for nothing).

vern tried to chat you up, once, when you first met. raph swiftly handled it, and you’re not exactly sure what was said, but vern now makes a point to keep a very conservative amount of space between you and him at all times.

a lot of his jealousy comes from insecurity—he definitely thinks you could do better, find someone you could actually walk around with, show off to your friends and go on vacations with.

so how does he cope? by proving his indispensability to you. when you date raph, you don’t lift a finger. need something from the top cabinet? he’s got it in his hands before you even have to ask. want to see a sold out concert? how convenient, he just managed to find some floor seats for you and your friends

don’t ask how he got them, it’s really best for everyone if you don’t actually know (both legally and ethically speaking).

asking someone else for help (god forbid you ask vern or one of his brothers, especially leo) will probably end up in some icy silent treatment and very short yes/no answers to questions that can only be cured by insistent apologies and lots of kisses

2. mikey

oh, our beloved little mikey

mikey spouts confidence, but much like raphael, he is deeply afraid that you’ll leave him for someone whose complexion is a little less green

while raph’s jealousy is defensive, mikey’s is pleading. he needs a lot of verbal reassurance that you’re his, nobody else’s

even when he’s not feeling jealous or insecure about the relationship, he just likes to hear you say it—and once you do, he’ll believe it wholeheartedly, all doubts and anxieties set aside (for the time being, at least)

when you’re around others (and even when you’re not) mikey is extremely physically affectionate, and probably will mention to anyone who will listen in a very unsubtle manner that the two of you are dating and really, really happy together, thank you very much

if you’re sitting, you’re sitting on his lap (or so close that you might as well be). if you’re standing, you can bet that he’s got an arm slung around your waist or your shoulder—just so everyone in the room is clear who you came with and who you’re leaving with

3. donnie

donnie’s jealousy is quiet. he’s much less outward about his feelings of jealousy than raph or mikey, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

when you mention a creepy guy from one of your classes getting a little too close for your comfort, he’ll nod and empathize; little do you know, he’s got the guy’s social security number, address, and name of his childhood pet pulled up on his laptop within seconds.

mysteriously, he doesn’t really show up for class anymore. rumours float around about some pretty shady things hes done being sent to the dean, president, and every RA on campus.

you confront donnie, and he just shrugs innocently. huh, weird, guess it’s a good thing you guys don’t hang out anymore then right? and then he’ll change the subject, but the triumphant gleam in his eye doesn’t go unnoticed

if someone starts to get flirtatious with you while donnie’s around though? all bets are off.

standing at 6’8 and made of pure lean muscle, donnie is fully aware of how intimidating he is, and it radiates off of him.

all it takes is one glare, leering from over your shoulder, and suddenly the person trying to flirt with you has some very important business to handle on the opposite side of the room for the rest of the night.

when you turn around to see donnie standing behind you, one hand on the small of your back, he’s back to his relaxed, smiley self

4. leo

leo is definitely the least jealous of his brothers. he’s confident, bordering on arrogant, and knows what he brings to the table.

i mean, c’mon. the barista who wrote their number on your coffee cup may be cute and share your taste in music, but how many times have they saved new york from an alien invasion? can they do anything to protect you in the event of a foot clan takeover?

didn’t think so.

communicating and trust are monumental to leonardo. right off the bat, he’s very straightforward about his intentions with you, and expects the same level of loyalty from his partner

leo’s trust isn’t easily earned so if he trusts you, then he does so completely and wholeheartedly. if you say that you and someone else are just friends, then he won’t think twice about it

that’s not to say he never gets jealous though. he’s just much more lowkey about it than the others

if you mention offhand being catcalled on your way to the lair one night, you’ll have a private escort for the foreseeable future

hes not big on pda, but you can bet that if he catches someone else’s scent on you, especially another guy, he’ll be extra cuddly when he sees you

Miguel ohara.

That was a name that was well known, feared, and one of the strongest captains and have one of the most strongest crew in the sea. Get attacked by him? You’re dead, you aren’t making it out alive.

He’s listening to his crew mate talks about sirens, saying how they are worth a lot and they should go hunting for one! Miguel instantly rejected the idea, saying it’s a waste of time.

Miguel never really believed in sirens, he thought it was some tale to scare kids and to make pirates like him search endlessly for them.

“Awh c’mon!” “No Peter, It’s just a waste of time and resources.” “You are like probably the only captain that dosent believe in sirens” “Because I’m not stupid.”

He remembers helping another crew hunt a siren but never even saw it, nor heard it. Miguel scoffed at the fact he wasted his time helping someone hunt for something that probably wasn’t even real.

But now? He believes, he saw one. He even looked at one. Talked to one.

Miguel felt like he had a fever dream, he doesn’t know how to put it into words that what happened in that day was real and not some random dream.

He’s not even on his ship anymore, not his crew, just some random people. He dosent know what happened to his crew mates but just assumed the worst.

It happened so suddenly, He was sailing on the ocean on his ship with his crew mates. Laughing and just having fun. When he least expected it, the tides got rough, the waves got higher and it was stormy too.

The last thing he saw before passing out was a massive wave, All he remembers is feeling the impact and then black.

His ship wrecked god knows where, His crew mates most likely dead sinking down in the same ocean but different area than Miguel. Miguel was drowning alone.

Until you saw him, You noticed him sinking down. Your first thought was free food but then you realized who he is. He’s a pirate. The same ones who try’s to hunt your kind. You scowl at this discovery but you soon realized he’s alone, his ship is gone too.

You could get information if there’s any attacks coming, their weaknesses and then kill him.

So, you save him. Grabbing his body, stopping him from dying and throwing him on the shore. you look at his body, you recognize that symbol that’s on his chest...your eyes widened, you grit your teeth as the grip on him tightened.

This was the Captain that helped that crew hunt your kind. Yeah, you are going to kill this man afterwards.

You give him CPR, isn’t working. So you give him mouth to mouth. Soon enough he’s awake sitting up immediately, coughing up some water. He looks at you, looks around. He’s at some random island as some lady saved him.

“What do you want from me? Is there anyone else coming? Is there going to be future attacks I don’t know about?” You immediately question him.

He looks at you once again in confusion and opens his mouth to answer but his mouth closed then his jaw went slack as his eyes widened in horror as he realizes that you aren’t a human but a siren.

He frantically searches for his cutlass but you hold it in front of him “looking for this?” You say as you toss it in the water. He looks at it sink I the water then looks back at you in fear but regain his composure.

“I don’t mean any harm, I didn’t even know—“ you scoffed, not believing his words “Oh cut the bullshit, answer my questions now.” You demanded him.

You get closer to him narrowing your eyes at him as he backs up “Is there going to be any men attacking me? Is there going to be people trying to hunt me down?” You questioned him once again.

“I’m being truthful, I don’t know. I didn’t hear anything about people looking for you. I don’t mean harm, You can see that my crew mates are not here most likely dead. My ship is wrecked. So please trust me.” He pleads, you glare at him and backed off.

“Why would i ever believe a pirate Like you?” You sneered at him, and he sighed “Please, I’m alone. You have my word.” He pleads once again. You look at him trying to see if he’s trying to trick you but you don’t see any malice in his eyes.

You decided to trust him, you felt bad for him. And you especially know how it is to be alone so, you just nodded and point your head to the island “There’s some food there, You Can stay” you tell him and you swam away in the water.

He smiled and began to explore the island, trying to see what he can work with for the time being. He can deal with this, He is a bit shaken up that he just talked to a siren.

As time went by, you guys respected your guys space. Staying away from eachother…which was actually you avoiding him because you still hated him.

But after a couple of days, you talked to him more. Making short and awkward small talks but it’s something!

Now Miguel sits at the shore, looking at the water as he searches for you. He notices your eyes staring at him back and he’s a bit startled but he offers his hand to you, you swim up to him and take his hand.

“Yes?” You say, tilting your head. He smiled at you and puts an apple in your hand “Here, I don’t really know what you eat and i don’t want you to still hate me” you eyes widened at his kindness.

You couldn’t help but chuckle a bit “you don’t do your research?” You say as you take a bite of the apple, usually you’ll just eat whatever is in the sea or sailors but sometimes an apple wouldn’t hurt.

He shakes his head “No, I don’t focus on stuff like that. I just focus on where I’m going, why, and the safety.” He admits honestly, you raise and eyebrow at him being a bit skeptical of him.

“You were there helping another pirate hunt my kind” you pointed out and he sighed “you think I wanted too? It was a waste of my time and my resources. Even after that I didn’t believe”

You smile. Maybe he isn’t half bad “Realized I never got your name, What is your name?” You asked him.

He smiles, knowing he’s getting on good terms with you “Miguel, Miguel ohara” and he offered you a handshake, you give him a handshake.

“you aren’t that bad Miguel, I thought you were going to kill me or send men my way” you joked and he shakes his head.

“I wouldn’t either way, why would i crash my ship risk my teammates life and my own! just for a chance to get you?” He asks and you thought about it. Huh, he was right. “Dunno, people are desperate.” You shrugged and he laughed.

“True, true. I see pirates fight all the time and I don’t get why!” He says while eating some berrys, You didn’t even notice but he was halfway in the water. “So, how’s the pirate life been?” You asked him.

“It’s…Something alright, it’s always shocking something. Everyday is an adventure and I…had my crew mates with me, it was fun and I miss it. I miss their laughter, and…everything.” he tells you. His shoulders dropped as he has a frown on his face.

You feel bad for him, you understand how that feels to be left alone. To miss home, to miss everyone and everything.

You put a hand on his shoulder and then loved it up to his cheek for him to look at you.

“Hey, It’s okay. I understand where your coming from. Trust me, I know how it feels to be alone. I didn’t live here always, I was with my family, my friends but then…they came. I seen all of my family die in front of my eyes.” You looked away, You didn’t like going back to this memory but you told him anyways.

“I tried to stop them but 3 ships was there. I couldn’t do anything, so I swam away as fast as I can. And that’s how I got here” you confessed to him.

It was silence for a few moments but then he apologized “I’m sorry that happened, but hey! You got me now” he says with a smile, picking the mood back up. you laughed, You Can Finally trust him.

But that thought quickly goes away, you hear the familiar sounds of a pirate ship. Your smile dropped. There was multiple, he lied to you.

His eyes widened in horror as your widened as well. You back away from him, looking at him with disgust and betrayal. You turn around to the ships and you noticed that they are aiming their pistols at you, their cannons as well.

He desperately pleads that he didn’t do this, that he didn’t know but you glared at him. You’re in disbelief that you actually gave him the benefit of the doubt and trust him.

As much as you want to attack him, You safety matters first. So you swim away deep in the water as Miguel watches, as he hears his name being called from the people above.

I was pondering Jotaros reaction to decenants of Dio and specifically Giorno [specifically in contrast to one of my own part five ocs who is decended from pre coffin/joestarbodysnaching Dio and also leads a life of crime in naples] and I wondered as tumblrs resident Jotaro understander how you think Giorno and Jotaro meeting would look like? Wwm/ta verse or otherwise. Personally I think not well at all, though with care it could improve [though i do also find them getting on really intresting]

first of all im giggling and kicking my feet and curling into a ball after being called "tumblrs resident Jotaro understander" u flatter me so much crow

but as for the meat of ur question i agree it likely wouldn't go well. in various aus it could go better but outside of like. eyes of heaven aus i cant see it going what we would call "well" at all just cause jotaro has no evidence of giorno's intentions and so he projects the worst of his expectations onto him. to an extent i think jotaro knows he's biased which is why he sent koichi to do the observation instead of going by himself (and him being willing to do that at all suggests to me he knows gio isn't like. Bad. as bad as dio) but he cant wash it away even with koichi's vouching cause with the appearance change (more like dio) and having such a powerful stand and fucking around with the mafia (think it reminds him of dio's cult tendencies). esp coupled with the fact giorno doesnt even know dio enough to hate him, jotaro would just. assume the worst me thinks. and the worst for gio isn't as bad as dio but it's still bad. like bad enough it could come to physical blows (30 year old jotaro kujo throwing a punch at his 15yo great uncle is fucking hilarious to think. parallels for how he met josuke).

i think that last point in particular would sour gio on jotaro as well cause he just wants to know his dad and when he tells jotaro this when jotaro mentions theyre family, jotaro jsut fucking attacks him lmao. but even before that, like jotaro i think giorno went into the conversation mad/upset. if jotaro is family why was he fucking stuck with his mom and step dad. why didnt anyone help him. gio would never actually say that or even allude to it (and i wonder if he'd even know himself that this upsets him) but it certainly makes him colder than he would otherwise be. i think giorno would also be very mad that apparently jotaro knew he existed but sent koichi after him instead of going himself. it somehow feels like yet another abandonment and on top of that he considers it cowardly of jotaro. another thing that sets him on edge is that he doesnt know what jotaro Wants from him and gio certainly doesnt know what he wants from him either, and for a person as proactive as gio, not knowing how to act to get what he wants out of the interaction stresses him out. he kinda jsut wants it all to be done before it even starts and then the fight LMAO

so yeah it would be rough. i think the fact ger/ge isnt the same stand as star platinum is what would make jotaro kinda calm down though. if he's not the same as star platinum he can't be the same as the world. if he's not the same as jotaro he can't be the same as dio. this of course makes jotaro feels worse about his own situation but it does make him more amendable about giorno, which is only doubled when polnareff Also vouches for gio (once jotaro meets him in coco jumbo post-fight). it would still take a while before they both accept each other as family but they wouldnt physically fight anymore post their first meeting LOL

so when Sawai gets executed, it doesnt exactly get advertised. one day he's there, the next he's...gone. Eventually, Ms Sawai just assumes he left . It doesn't help that Gojo secretly gives hints at that, maybe fabricating some evidence that ya he left and he's happier with a younger woman.

How did your decision to detransition come about and was it actually tied to kink?

PLEASE!!! GOD PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!!!! i think i was maybe 11-12 when i heard a friend had started identifying as male and i automatically was like YOU CAN DO THAT???!!!?!??? and jumped right on it i DID NOT LOOK BACK LMAO.... i didnt have the emotionally maturity to step back and think "ok now why am i thinking like this is there a reason suddenly i wanna change" so i went with it. getting top surgery saved my life, even if i have tiny sour feelings about it presently.. i dont regret transitioning. everything ive been though in my life is a mosaic of me and its beautiful! and yeah! im terrible at responding im sorry I HOPE THIS ANSWERED UR QUESTION AND I DIDNT JUST RAMBLE FOR A MILLION YEARS....

i think the trick of drawing a character accurately is firstly to stare at that characters face really hard and notice the shapes that make it a recognizable face (shape of the head, shape of the eyes, shape of the nose, the lips... anything that jumps at you and says yes this is the character) and secondly its a vibe? like it doesnt have to perfectly look like them but if it *feels* like them then u nailed it yk!

tried to do a little face study of carmilla (natasha negovanlis<3) bc im rlly into the series rn and that could maybe help u?

after u notice the shapes its just a matter of how stylized u want ur art to be! u can fuck around and exaggerate different features too if u want a really stylized drawing to see which features to accentuate to make the character feel most like themselves (exemple if i rlly wanted to stylize cartoonishly carmilla, her nose would probably b the feature i focus on)

i think anya looked into medical school to help people- to make someone’s day better for them, at least. she’s never ever given up on that- she’s just not the type of person to. however the “monetary compensation” that she and curly got for the absolute bullshit they faced was only really going to last them a year or two- otherwise they would have to find a way to live in the capitalist society theyre in right now. fast. while anya is still working on a way to get money for groceries/rent/etc. she is also trying to figure out a way to achieve this dream before its too late. she hopes its not too late. and then she remembers that its sort of the same as it always was and she throws up a little (dont worry it gets better for her in the end) she works in retail to get the money and ends up becoming more financially stable once she moves in with nurse

OH BOY it was something with curly. yes she was tense. yes she was sad. she was miserable even but admitting that feels like betraying something inside herself so she doesn’t do it. yes she was ANGRY and she wanted to HURT and she felt horrible because what is she even going to say. he can’t even do anything now so what’s the point. there’s really nothing that’s ever changed and she’s still feeding him painkillers and making sure he’s okay and remembering what he did and remembering what he didn’t do and she realises that it’s sort of the same as it always was and she throws up a little (there might be a theme to this)

anya doesnt even know how to feel about it. it feels different- like something should have happened. she’s always been resilient and shes always gotten through things knowing that good things will come around and if its not good its not what’s coming around- but she’s really wondering because he’s still alive. he’s still alive but he’s in jail and he can’t hurt anybody but she still feels so hurt but she can’t get stuck on these things when she has things to take care of- she’s still working, after all. she’s still trying, after all. even when she wants to rip her own skin off.

so back to the q…. im afraid i dont have any mind blowing tips. its normal to feel overwhelmed as a beginner, but everyone starts somewhere! i say familiarize urself with basic procreate shortcuts (loads of tutorials online) and always play around with their settings! it should be helpful for the learning process along the way.

for eg ermm i used to abuse the gradient maps settings to pretend i know shit ab colouring 😭💀 i still do tbh, except now i understand how it actually works and i can easily get the colours that i want.

some of the things i learned:

1. cool lineart (i always use this as a part of my render process)

2. art is subjective, pick any that you think suits your preference/is fun to use

for brush, do you prefer it round or textured? lots of pressure sensitivity or none? i like my brushes textured and with a good amount of pressure sensitivity. for blending, do you prefer the transition colour to appear smooth or textured/messy? i sometimes mix between both to give a sense of harmony, but i like it textured more. it all comes down to what feels right to you. pick a few artyles that you like and incorporate it into ur own! pretty basic tip but thats the best way that i know. just pretend ur a mad scientist trying to find cure for like cancer or sumn

3. personal opinion: brush type matters

dont listen when someone says the type of brush u use doesnt matter. yes you can draw with any brush. yes all brushes work the same way 🤯🤯🤯. but theres gotta be that ONE brush that just hits the spot for you, as if its made specially for Your Hands….. unfortunately theres no shortcut to finding Your Brush. it took me 4 years of endless experimenting to find mine.

if ur curious on what brushes i use, i have it listed in my carrd. however i still experiment a lot and dont rly bother to update it, but those should be what i use the most/my top favs !

so on each team we have (just characters off the top of my head)

marble hornets; jay, tim, brian, alex, jessica, amy, seth

everymanhybrid; vinny, evan, jeff, alex, daniel, jessa, stepthanie

if you mean absolutely no slender affects, would this even include or exclude habit? and also masky and hoody to be fair... hmmm ill just say they arent in the picture.

just from what we know alone, i just have to give it to everymanhybrid crew, not only do (most) of them workout and obtain healthy things. they are just very athletic in the sense.

also tim is like a fucking chain smoker and would probably be dying just running to first base. also like the only fit person is brain and thats barely saying shit.

the other team has vinny who is a know jogger, and evan whos just jacked as fuck. yeah jeff is prolly the weakest link but at least hes tall, he'd fucking do wonders in the back field, but also alex(mh) would also be in that same position.

i just know jay wouldnt be competitive at all out there, but its fine he's doing his best. this may just be my little brain but i think stepthanie and jessica would fucking be the pitchers, they would throw ball. and i think hard hitters would be evan and brian, with vinny and tim being right behind them.

i dont think they would sports fight, so no sabotage or anything, they would just joke fight around, which may fueled some of their competitive sides.

(if i wanna get real special with this, add my oc's in there really doesnt change much, infact i know david would weigh the team down a little, and maybe ross would help the mh team a little)

introjectism aside, what was it about the source characters of your fictives that made you so attached to them? like, what is it about Noctis, Shepard, Hiccup, The Alices and so on that made you think "This is me!"

to be honest, im not /entirely/ sure. there isn’t necessarily a unifying trait, unless you count like…being traumatized? and physically disabled in game/movie canon?

noctis is very different from shepard, and shepard is very different from hiccup, and hiccup is very different from the alices.

alice is a bit of a different case, as she has likely been here since we were very young, where as others formed later. this is due in part to. well. the simple fact that the media they are from came out much later in our life.

but anyways. no surprise (i have mental and physical trauma, memory loss, depression, severe anxiety, ptsd, ocd, did, on and on…) but i do not have a very solid sense of self. so playing games has always been a way for me to feel like a person. like im whole. even if it doesnt wnd in an alter, playing games is and always will be the most powerful and immersive experience i can imagine. so really im not too surprised that the games most important to me ended up creating a new alter.

(i should also not that i have a tendency to split very often, it honestly doesnt take much. im sure this contributes.)

ALL THIS TO SAY. everyone has something we found inside ourself. i guess?

shepard is strong, confident, yet fragile and real. he may react explosively, or withdraw when someone gets too close. he is war torn, and complicated. we had many family members we were close to who served in some way, and we grew up seeing the effects it had. i do believe that o ur family history has something to do with shepard being so close to home.

noctis (hiii) is awkward, socially struggles. but he is, under all the deadpan deliveries and fumbling, kind, helpful, and caring. he gave up his life to save his friends and his people. he is reliant on his friends, dependent on them.

riku has also been here a VERY long time (maybe almost as long as alice) and he is sort of the same. dark, brooding, troubled and lonely and terrified. but he cares so deeply for his friends. all he does is to protect them, wven if its the wrong way. his growth into someobe brave and strong is a very personal thinh for us.

yep ben is raised by his grandpa max, his parents left ben in his care when he was very young so he has very few memories of them, just flashes of small moments nothing big. nobodys heard from them since n grandpa max refuses to speak on it. gwen n ben r still cousins, she lives w her mother n father who arent big fans of max. they look down on him, partly its justified for him being a bad person but its also partly just cos hes kinda poor. her father, the head priest of their city's megachurch, is his son. im still working on her mom so i wont comment on her yet. her familys very well-off so its caused some jealousy/resentment from ben since gpa max doesnt believe in living life comfortably or whatever, basically just giving ben the bare essentials - food water shelter - cos he thinks anything more will make ben "soft" n spoiled. kie was raised by her father on account of her mother passing when she was pretty young around 7, n unfortunately her dad followed suit when she was 14, leaving her in the hands of a pretty shit foster system which basically has her fending completely for herself on her own. ill dedicate future posts to their respective family-situations n go a lil more in depth but hopefully this rundown helps answer ur question ^_^ n thank u im about to celebrate thanksgiving w my family i hope ur day is good as well

its around 22 songs, or 1.5 hrs atm & the songs are ordered thematically to try n make a comprehensive, easy listening experience!! i put it on early at work when im not quite awake yet bc it gradually ramps up in tempo/emotion into something a little less melancholic as it goes on, and by the end is kind of fun even tee hees

AS FOR your other question! i do love movie adaptations!! i don't think all of them are bad. i just think they are often veryyyy difficult to translate without changing a lot bc the mediums are so different, and that's where most of them go wrong, bc u can be a little sillier/less grounded in reality on stage, but movie audiences dont rlly have that same frame/suspension of disbelief? (@ the poto adaptation..)

but that doesn't make them less fun for me. i loooove the chicago movie over the stage show, especially bc of the different choreo (cell block tango and we both reached for the gun you are everything to me) & amazing casting, the editing and the set designs were SO good and really added to the story, and a lot of those things u simply couldn't do on stage!

i love the cabaret movie as well, despite it being VERY different than the stage show in terms of plot/focus (it's very much centered around sally, which is great bc i love liza in the movie) but that doesn't take away from it's thematic importance, i don't think.

i have some other guilty pleasure movie musicals too, like hairspray, sweeney todd, repo, devils carnival, etc that maybe arent the best but i still 🫶 them and u cant stop me 🫵
