Out of curiosity, do you think your Gemini fan kids could exist in the shows canon universe? Marsh and Lake are seriously so adorable I’ve low key accepted as Donnie’s kids in the shows future canon. Also how does the krang apocalypse play out in the Gemini AU? Is it prevented or is there maybe Gemini bad timeline?

Also, there are Kraang in the Gemiverse! I haven't exactly sorted out all the details yet, but what I do know is that there's no good future/bad future... there's just one timeline! The Kraang do invade and Gems and Co. do kick it in the Apocalyptic Warzone for a while... but the whole fam survives and they do eventually win the war!!! (because anything else made me too sad ; w ; and I realized at some point that it's my au so i can just do whatever I want :D yay)

My 4 year old would do numbers on Tumblr. Today, he decided that Ghostface is babygirl.

For context, this kid has been obsessed with all things Ghostface since early October '24 when he first encountered the animatronic at Spirit Halloween. He calls it the "good guy mask" and treasures his Ghostface T-Shirt.

Today while playing with two unrelated toys, he decided that they needed to "go wake up good guy mask". When asked why, he replied:

For what it's worth, I dont think they'd be that freaked out about it. I feel like they both have an above average weirdness threshold. (Particularly Brian as, yknow, John's a werewolf and he just accepted that, lol.)

I think they'd also try to decide if her shapeshifting into a human means that she's their adopted human daughter as opposed to cat. They have a slight running joke that Spaghetti is their cat daughter and addresses her as such. It doesn't help that John sometimes call her "iha." (filipino for daughter).

It takes a lot of energy for her to shapeshift into a human so she'd won't do it very often unless she just wants to take a break from being a cat.

I looked up cats in Japanese mythology and I think Spaghetti would def qualify as a maneki neko since she has a calico coloring. (she's not mean enough to be a bakeneko lol)

Okay @ the people saying I made the right choice in Bloodborne I forgot to mention that the little girl dies no matter if you tell her or not and you can't save her. The difference is that if you don't tell her about what happened you can instead tell her to try to go to a safe place(though she dies on the way) and if you do tell her about her parents she just cries and you can't talk to her anymore but she still leaves the house and dies.

But I didn't know that I just told her right away bcs I'd want to be told and my fiancé was like "???" and I was like "man idk I don't like it when people lie to me to protect my feelings especially when it's something bad" but I can see the argument for lying to her so she isn't sad when she dies. But still!! I'd want to know!! And I don't like lying!!

But then again the game also expects you to break this red broach her mom is wearing when you find her body bcs it's a type of upgrade material and apparently everyone else does that immediately no problem but I immediately gave the broach back bcs it was her mom's and I don't have the right to take it and fucking break it, and my fiancé was like "just break it?? who cares" and I was like "that's horrible!!!". Plus it's not that good of an upgrade anyway, but in all fairness you don't get more for a little bit and if you give it back you lose access to it forever.

So like idk I don't think I'm the weird one here but maybe I am lmao.

thinking about nemona's hero worship of geeta, & her relative neutrality of basically every other authority figure. she likes them and wants to please them, of course, but geeta's the one who puts stars in her eyes -- and, honestly, the person whose interests she would act in if push came to shove and she had to make that choice.

nemona is very used to sacrificing basically everything to get either of her parents' attention, but especially her father's. her mother is distant but doesn't seem particularly interested in or tethered to reality; she sort of floats through life doing what she wants and little else. it's her father where the expectations come from. nemona has always felt the very tangible reality that she is the spare -- it's her older sister, Catalina, who will inherit his company and lead the family. but there are still expectations that nemona do something. there's just no support, no conversations, no gentle guidance. someone of her father's stature doesn't have time for that.

so she throws herself into everything that means something at all in any structure she's in. she knows being student council president is never going to make her popular, but it's some kind of leadership position and even if her father doesn't notice now, maybe she just needs to work a little harder, persist a little longer. she never gets in trouble, even when trouble would be fun, because a blemish on her record? unthinkable. and it doesn't help that she's a naturally intense person, her innate competitiveness sharpened by the unspoken competition of her household. and when that's channeled into something she genuinely loves, battling, it's like an inferno -- and as much as she knows it drives potential friends away, she simply can't smother it.

so it's not because of geeta's position, and it's not entirely because of her talent (though nemona deeply respects her skill and endurance as a trainer) -- it's because geeta seems to see her. all these things nemona's done to become better, better, the best she can be, geeta acknowledges them. she PRAISES them. and it's such a simple explanation but it's so deeply true -- nemona will never do anything to disappoint the first person to believe in her.

the only other person who comes to close to geeta's esteem in her eyes is rika, but for different reasons. simply put, rika is cool. she's young, exceptionally talented, incredibly smart, and despite what people might expect from someone so cool, she upholds the values and rules of the league with utmost seriousness. she's everything nemona wishes she could be -- herself, but appreciated for it. and because rika hasn't taken an interest in her the way geeta has, it drives nemona to want to impress her -- want to challenge, her, really, to prove herself. to ruffle her feathers a little, but only to show her what she's made of.
