#twdg#twdg clouis#clouis#twdg clementine#twdg louis#sometimes they creep back into my mind and i'm like 'ah yes' like a crow admiring a pretty stone they found years ago and kept#also thank you pi for the screenshots. i used to have a whole folder full of them but that was when i was doing themed nights#the source for these is me i just have a random document full of dynamics and ship things i enjoy because.....i dunno i like keeping track#and so many of them apply to clouis but there's also an overlap of with clouis and rose/alistair [my warden from origins and alistair] like#alistair's romance route is like an evolved matured and extended version of clouis sksksks gee i wonder if i have a type#look you present me with a character who deflects with humor and isn't taken seriously by the rest of the group and the longer you know the#the more you realize how high they've built a wall around themselves and how *unwell* they really are and how they're not as sunshine#as they present themselves and also they avoid leadership and responsibility until they grow closer with someone who pushes them#and they end stronger and more balanced as a person while finding the affection they've craved#and also there's the daddy issues#present me with that character as a romantic option and i'm in no questions asked okay i don't want the mean broody one that's meh to me#i want the one that has every reason to be broody but chooses not to be because they have a completely different defense mechanism#and a warped sense of themselves and self-esteem issues they leave unaddressed until forced to face them#i'm just saying i'm aware that i have a type i'm always going to gravitate toward clouis nearly checks all the boxes#also the lack of clouis these days? my crops are thirsty and i have too many ongoing projects to do anything about it other than this sksks#so until i make time to finish my long ass louis/clouis analysis this is the best i can provide for now

Echos in the Wind
Echo shuffled as he sat on the bench in Harumi's work shop, wires going into his head. He felt weird sitting there as she typed away.
"All the that alcohol hasn't affected your system too much, "She turned back to face him, "Alright, well I was here I checked to make sure none of those stupid ninja didn't upload any viruses on you, they didn't, surprisingly. I still think it'd be for the best to cut you off from them though."
"I want to be able to update my Tumblr, I can't do that if I'm offline," he signed it return. Part of him always wanted to be able to speak to the ninja. He didn't know why, all they did was lie to him. He felt the same way when his with them, expect it was about Harumi. Maybe that's why he hung around her base so long. He started to sign he was sorry again, but Harumi grabbed his hands.
"I get your sorry, but your words are meaningless. Show your sorry by staying with me." She smiled at him fondly. He loved his friend.
Echo nodded in respones and unplugged all the wires from his head. He didn't like the idea of Harumi being able to poke around in there anymore. He looked up at her again, and started signing, "You asked the face thief- sorry, Nadhakan about being able to rewrite my code with a wish, why?"
She sighed, "Echo, I was just really worried about you, I just wanted you to come home. I care a lot about you, that's all." she had a soft tone, trying to show that she really meant it, but Echo didn't buy it. He could see through her lies now.
"You call threatening to rewrite who I am as a living being, caring?" he signed in return. He didn't mean for it to come off as sassy as it did, but he really didn't mind.
"Echo. I just wanted you back." her tone was fully annoyance at his question.
"So you threaten to kill me?!" his hands were quick moving as he signed.
"I was trying to scare you into returning!"
"Is that how you treat all your friends?! Keep them through fear?!"
She glared at him, "You know that isn't true."
He sclowed, "Do I? All you ever seem to do is lie! At least the ninja told me when they did! You say you hate them but yet you don't shut up about Nya!"
"Echo. Stop." Anger started to fill her voice. He could tell she didn't like him rebling agaist her, but all that did was make him want to fight more.
"Or what? You'll rewrite my code? Transform me into the perfect puppet?"
"You're not a puppet Echo!"
If he had a voice box, an angry grunt would exist his mouth, "Then why do your treat me like one?! You know what Harumi, I'm done! I shouldn't have come back! We're not friends anymore." he went to grab his helmet from the table but Harumi grabbed it first.
"I didn't rebuild you so you can repeativly betray me Mr E!" she clutched the helmet tightly.
"Give me the helmet," he signed.
"Aw, scared of showing your face still? Don't want to look like Zane?!" she sneered. It hit Echo how differently she was acting now that he wasn't obeying her. That fond smile had faded. He felt a moment of a clarity, his senses, all 6, seemed to kick in at that moment.
"You really are a two face, aren't you?" his fingers potryed a much gentler tone. He turned and walked out of the room, then the base.

sometimes the ships i hate arent even that bad, but just so far removed from canon that 90% of dogshit takes in the fandom are made by those shippers, so i develop a rage response to a ship thats just so whatever
#theres nothing actually wrong with it! some of my beloved mutuals like it!#but the modern fandom idea of a ship only being good if its canon does NOT mix well with a ship that has v little canon basis#so you get a fanbase that ignores parts of canon and insists that some truly baseless fanon MUST be taken seriously#again. nothing Problematic TM about it and some of the shippers have good takes#i just... i just wonder what percentage of them have never interacted with the source material#this is petty and i am very well aware of it#no i will not say which one it is#at least not where everyone can see it because i do NOT want to get involved in shipping wars

Shoutout to me and the one other person who actually adores Willow's breakdown in ftf but isn't a huntlow fan
#like everyone ik hates that scene or doesnt like it#and to that I say fair enough but you don't know them like I do dont let the straight bait aspect get to you this is actually so much for#Willow's character arc#the reason it had to be hunter is because he is the only person who has never seen her at a weak point#hunters serious treatment of her as his iron willed captain is huge for her#she's gotten what she's wanted she's been taken seriously and she earned Hunter’s respect fully on her own#when he had no qualms against being brutally honest with her#were it anyone else telling her she can let out her emotions just by themselves it wouldn't be enough#because to willow that sounds like you go back to the way things were before#also its like one of the few disabled hunter moments we get#Luz is the only other person besides the two of them who experienced this particular form of ableism#and Luz has a wholly different experience with it as a human#and a lot more going on rn#Willow getting that validation from the one source she wouldn't expect it and desperately needs it isnt about shipping to me#the shippers cant have this one#random rambles bc i refuse to argue with haters on discord they have the right to be haters i love u haters

Being a firegray shipper in the warriors fandom is such a drama, you think you have problems with your rarepair or unknown ship well you really don't understand real pain, it's supposed to be simple this generic basic shipping that could have amount of content by default because they are "BFF" in canon yet still nothing no sound no much talk, they have amount of paragraphs, lines, phrases, iconic moments in the books; the "Always Firestar", "I would give my life for you", "no cat would feel the same he felt for Graystripe for four long seasons"...yet still nothing it's so goddamn funny that makes me laugh 😂 and cry 😭 at the same time!! how doomed this pair can be tell me!
