For some reason, part of the Doctor Who fandom (especially on Twitter) seems to have forgotten that the key Thasmin episode (in which the Doctor eventually admits her complicated feelings) has been co-written by author Ella Road, a queer woman, who has talked several times about it and how she felt it wasn't a cop out.

Chris Chibnall, whether you like his writing or not, has a long history of welcoming new talents and supporting diversity. It is rather disheartening to see that her work is discounted as "Chris Chibnall straight man coward".

A romance not ending the way you hoped isn't homophobic.

And, maybe, credit women for their work?

I truly can’t express how funny it is to me that 13 just- shows zero interest in anyone other than yaz. She glares at graham’s hand in s11 ep3, she turns Byron away at literally every chance, she doesn’t even seem interested in redeeming the master this time, it’s genuinely hilarious to me
