How to Create a Flawless Villain: A Comprehensive Guide to Crafting Your Perfect Antagonist
Tumblr media
Every great story needs a great villain. Whether you’re writing an epic fantasy or a gritty thriller, the villain is often the character readers can’t forget. They’re complex, morally grey, and create tension that drives the story forward. But how do you avoid clichés and create a villain who sticks with readers long after the book is closed? Let’s dive deep into the art of villain creation, exploring their psychological makeup, societal role, and relationships with the hero. We’ll also touch on how esoteric philosophies or occultism can shape their worldview, motivating them to chase power, forbidden knowledge, or even reshape reality itself.
Tumblr media
Core Identity and Origins
A villain’s origin story is the root of their motivations. Were they betrayed by those they trusted? Once a noble hero, now twisted by tragedy? Crafting a rich backstory will set the stage for whom they become.
Name and Meaning: Choose a name that reflects their essence or offers an ironic twist. Consider names rooted in ancient languages, forbidden texts, or alchemical symbols if your villain is into esoteric or occult knowledge.
Defining Childhood Event: What critical moment led them to this path? A betrayal, a prophecy, or perhaps a dark inheritance? This event should haunt them, driving their desire for revenge, power, or forbidden enlightenment.
Tumblr media
Motivations, Desires, and Philosophy
Villains aren’t evil for the sake of it. Their motivations—whether it’s control, vengeance, or the pursuit of something beyond mortality—must be clear and compelling.
Primary Goal: What is their ultimate aim? Power, control, or maybe freedom from their own pain? If they’re driven by esoteric philosophies, perhaps they seek to transcend the mortal realm or unlock the universe's hidden truths.
Inner Desires: Beyond their surface goals, what do they truly long for? To become one with a cosmic force? To destroy the current reality and rebuild it in their own image?
Occult and Esoteric Motivations: Do they crave ancient knowledge? Are they obsessed with dark gods, lost magical practices, or the mysteries of existence? These deeper motivations give your villain texture, turning them into something more than just an antagonist.
Tumblr media
Psychological and Emotional Depth
To make your villain fully realized, dig into their mind and emotions. They’re driven by traumas, fears, and warped worldviews—making them unpredictable and dangerous.
IQ and Emotional Intelligence: Is your villain a cold mastermind or someone who operates on gut emotion, manipulating others through fear or charisma? Are they emotionally detached or frighteningly intuitive about others’ desires and fears?
Philosophical Depth: Does your villain have a worldview rooted in esoteric thought? Perhaps they believe in alchemical transformation or view themselves as a chosen agent of cosmic order (or chaos).
Fear and Trauma: What do they fear most? Losing control? Facing an entity more powerful than them? How do their traumas influence their choices?
Tumblr media
Powers, Strengths, and Weaknesses
Your villain’s abilities should reflect their inner self. Whether they dominate through sheer strength or subtle manipulation, their powers, and weaknesses make them memorable.
Unique Powers: Can they control dark forces or warp reality? Perhaps they’ve mastered necrotic magic or gained immortality at a great cost. Their powers should align with their motivations—reflecting their esoteric pursuits or thirst for control.
Weaknesses: Every great villain has a flaw. Are they vulnerable to their own hubris, bound by cosmic forces they can’t fully control, or haunted by their mortality? This flaw should not only humanize them but also create a vulnerability in their power.
Tumblr media
Relationships and Rivalries
Villains thrive in their relationships with others—especially with the hero. Craft dynamic relationships to give your villain emotional stakes.
Relationship with the Hero: The best villain-hero dynamics are deeply personal. Maybe the hero represents a path the villain once rejected. Perhaps they’re old allies, or twisted reflections of one another.
Esoteric Mentors or Rivals: Who taught your villain their dark arts? Did a mentor pass on forbidden knowledge, or does a rival compete for the same cosmic power?
Tumblr media
Arc and Transformation
Villains should evolve. Show how they became who they are, whether through corruption or a gradual descent into darkness.
Origin of Villainy: Were they once idealistic, only to be warped by ambition or dark forces? What pushed them from seeking enlightenment to seeking dominance? Their fall from grace should feel inevitable, tied to their deepest desires.
Villain’s Endgame: What do they ultimately want? Is their goal to transcend mortality or reshape reality? By the end of the story, their final form should feel like the culmination of everything they’ve sacrificed.
Tumblr media
Visual and Symbolic Representation
Villains often have visual cues that represent their power or past. Their appearance should reflect their inner darkness and esoteric connections.
Appearance: Do they bear occult symbols, alchemical tattoos, or physical scars from dark rituals? Their look should reflect their journey into darkness.
Symbolism: Consider what motifs represent your villain—death, chaos, transformation. These should be woven into their appearance, powers, and actions.
Tumblr media
Legacy and Role in the World
Even after your villain is defeated, their influence should remain. They might leave behind followers, secret societies, or prophecies that keep their legacy alive.
Impact on Society: How does your villain shape the world? Do they leave behind grimoires, magical artifacts, or a legacy of fear? Their reign should leave scars that ripple long after they’re gone.
Villain’s Endgame: Whether they succeed or fail, what was their ultimate goal? Were they trying to unravel reality itself, merge with cosmic forces, or create a utopia in their image?
Tumblr media
Twists, Secrets, and Moral Complexity
Villains become iconic when they are morally complex. Add twists to make them more than just evil—they might believe they’re saving the world in their own way.
Secret Past or Hidden Identity: Does your villain have a dark secret, perhaps a heroic past or a forbidden bloodline? These secrets add layers to their character, making them more unpredictable.
Moral Complexity: Does your villain believe their actions are necessary for balance? Are they more tragic than evil, motivated by a cosmic truth that others can’t see?
Tumblr media
By incorporating esoteric philosophies and occult influences, your villain can become a driving force not just against the hero but against the very fabric of the world. Let’s create formidable villains that’ll haunt readers long after turning the final page.

you guys flooded my first post with notes yesterday which is a little confusing for me and also insanely cool, i've never received such feedback on my art, so thank you everyone!! you gave me motivation to draw something substantial so you get an updated lamb design yippee! probably not the final one tho
also another lengthy post which is not required reading, just some stuff i've been thinking about on and off for a couple of weeks. i codenamed it "with death comes peace au" in my head and it may become a fanfic at some point but i don't want to be too hopeful
relevant to the first pic
• i do love the "single parent to a small nation" type of lamb, but for my au i see them more as an actual Cult Leader tm, which means they have to be irresistibly charming and charismatic. they put a lot off time into their looks and mannerisms and behavior (they had some practise even before their first death and before the red crown, but that is maybe for a later post), and they aim for a "heavenly angelic benevolent" type, since they're a lamb, a soft and fluffy creature that's mainly associated with innocence and self-sacrifice
• also the malnourishment-looking hc from the previous post still stands, which is a pain in the ass for them. their head-wool is their best quality one tho, so they try to get the most out of it, and style it in this cute fluffy bob (that also somewhat hides the hollowness of their face) with little braids here and there and camellias that never wilt, cause yk, for power show off holy image upkeep purposes
• they actually do like their neck scar, but the flock finds it unnerving
relevant to the second pic
• so you remember how i said that they were laser focused on survival before their first death? they lived off of spite and spite alone, they knew of genocide for all their life (being born well after it started) and were determined to not let the bishops win. they didn't get a say in their birth, so they at least were entitled to have a say in their death (at least in their mind. but what a single sheep has on four gods)
• SOOO when the survival goal failed (kinda. task failed successfully yk) and toww gave them a new goal of cult leadership and slaughter, the spite became thirst for revenge. and it is a powerful tool, but it does not translate to the most graceful style of fighting.
• all that is to say that, yeah, they fight like a wildfire, and never really change in that regard. you don't have to learn defense if you kill your enemies fast enough (yes, it bites them in the ass. more often that they'd like to admit)
• i also liked the idea of them having armor, because let's be frank in the game they might as well be fighting naked, that wool cloak doesn't do anything for protection. i opted for a lightweight leather one since leather is easier to obtain, suits their quick movements and it's kinda a power move to wear armor that's made of your enemies' brethren. intimidation factor is important

And it's more interesting still that capitalism continues to embed itself in what these definitions of manhood purport to be. The most memorable anti-heroes usually seek to push back against almost all social norms except the promise of the American Dream. Motivated by money and the power it brings, characters like Tony, Don, Walt, or even Deadwood's Al Swearengen are shaped by the promise of more. And to that end, they are shaped by a thirst for relevance they can never quite quench.
Obviously, what's surprising is not the prevalence of capitalist ideals, but our beloved pro/antagonists' deservist attitudes. Characters like Tony are profoundly unfulfilled. Walter considers himself a victim of a system that's failed to recognize his potential. Don believes his checkered past entitles him to a slice of the metaphorical pie. Their successes hinge on achieving power via paths of destruction. They're victims, but of broken value systems. Mad Men may have even said it best: "What's happiness? It's the feeling before you get more happiness!"

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the shadowed streets of Gotham City, a mysterious newcomer emerged, captivating the attention of its residents, particularly the infamous criminal mastermind known as The Joker. (M/N), with his enigmatic charm and undeniable magnetism, quickly became a subject of interest for the madman.
Unbeknownst to The Joker, (M/N) had his own dark agenda brewing beneath the surface. His presence in Gotham was no coincidence; he had carefully calculated his moves, ready to play a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
As (M/N) and The Joker crossed paths, a spark of madness flew between them. The Joker's twisted mind was both fascinated and intrigued by the enigma that was (M/N). There was something about his calculated manner and hidden intentions that tickled The Joker's desire for chaos.
Unwittingly, (M/N) found himself captivated by The Joker's charm and unpredictability. There was an intoxicating allure about the criminal mastermind that drew him in, despite the danger that lurked within those twisted smiles.
The dance between (M/N) and The Joker took on a new level of thrill and danger. Their encounters became a constant game of push and pull, each one testing the other's limits and boundaries. With every passing moment, the line between obsession and attraction blurred, igniting an intense connection that neither of them could deny.
As Gotham City trembled under their shared presence, they embarked on a journey intertwined with violence, deception, and dark desires. The dangerous game they played only fueled the flames of their twisted passion, with each move threatening to either consume them or become their ultimate downfall.
As (M/N) and The Joker delved deeper into their entangled web, secrets started to unravel. Each revelation pulled them further into the depths of their own darkness. They discovered that they were two sides of the same coin, driven by their insatiable thirst for chaos and power.
Despite the treacherous path they walked, (M/N) found himself drawn to The Joker's madness, finding a strange solace in the chaos that surrounded them. Likewise, The Joker, unable to resist (M/N)'s hidden motives, admired the newcomer's twisted brilliance.
In the climactic showdown between (M/N) and The Joker, their dark desires reached their peak. The city of Gotham became their playground, a canvas upon which they painted their twisted art. In a twisted symphony of violence and madness, they realized that they were both enhancers and catalysts for each other's darkest selves.
Their bond, born from a shared addiction to chaos, threatened to consume them entirely. In the face of their destructive passion, they were forced to question their loyalties and decide whether to succumb to their dark desires or seek redemption in a world that seemed irredeemable.
(M/N) and The Joker's dangerous dance continued, each step becoming more perilous than the last. They remained locked in their co-dependent game, forever drawn to the darkness that enveloped them. In the twisted tapestry of Gotham City, they found an unlikely connection, forever entwined in a dance of chaos and desire.
Whether they would find salvation or meet their ultimate downfall remained uncertain. But one thing remained clear—wherever (M/N) and The Joker ventured, chaos followed, a testament to the power of their dark desires and the twisted bond they shared.

SVSSS Liveblog Volume 1 Chapter 4
Honestly getting into a novel you hate because the monsters are cool is valid as hell
Him not eating when Binghe is gone is such a bad sign, he’s not gonna eat after he pushes Binghe into the abyss is he?
“I don’t want to throw him into the Abyss but I also don’t want to die” is good motivation
I know Binghe was twirling his hair thinking about the conference like “I’m going to win the whole thing and Shizun will see how strong I am”
Pretty art!!! Also blatantly pinning Binghe!!!
Shen Qingqiu, internally: right for his future harem Binghe: Looking at him like that
In my heart Binghe has a little diary where he writes Shen Qingqiu’s name surrounded by hearts and plans their wedding and combines their last names and stuff
Them flying on their swords is really cool
“Your spoiled what’s next snacks” “That’s a great idea Binghe do you have any snacks”
He is spoiled and pampered tho <3 he’s got that Princess privilege as the rightful sole future love interest, the protagonist’s most favorite and specialist guy
“Don’t thirst after my disciple” He is gay if that helps
“Of course they don’t want me watching how could I forget” meanwhile Binghe is jealous as hell
This Palace Master is going to come back later isn’t he
Not him bemoaning that fact that Luo Binghe is being kind when it prevents him from showing off
Not the foot fetish material!
He doesn’t care about looking at them in the water because he’s only got eyes for you dude!! You’re the love interest now they’re just randos! You got promoted and they got demoted
Why is “now the threesome scene can’t happen in the future” your reaction to children dying?
Only Luo Binghe can’t be killed, I get thinking “They’ll probably be fine” but that’s been stated a couple of times. Luo Binghe is safe the rest of y’all should learn to protect yourselves tho
Maybe now isn’t the time to mention it but I had a platonic crush on the girl from The Ring as a child
Local man understandably not ready to see teens murdered by monsters
“You can’t go there’s a chance your powers will stop working and you’ll be murdered” “well I’ll for sure die if I don’t do anything so I’m going”
Heads growing spider legs is actual nightmare fuel
Binghe just wants to heal him :((
The Abyss is open
Also PRETTY ART!!! And a new hot man!!
… And Shang Qinghua I guess
Listen I’m far more interested in the new beautiful man who just showed up then the traitor peak lord
He’s supposed to be evil Binghe’s right hand… I mean pretty privilege is a thing and if anyone deserves it…
Listen I’m aroace not blind
Shhh let him show up early ya know for the “plot”
His sword broke :( I know he’s supposed to get a new cooler one but the swords here are cool
“Aw shit I wasn’t demon racist and now it’s biting me in the ass”
Also this hurts
:((((( BINGHE!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO
I can’t even fully appreciated the art because I’m pain
How it started:
Tumblr media
How it’s Going:
Tumblr media
Not everyone thinking he’s dead ;-;
I’m gonna take a minute no one talk to me
Him forgetting Binghe is gone ;—;
And he’s unwilling to admit how much he missed him sir your repression is showing
HIM MOURNING BINGHE’S INNOCENCE AND YOUTH I’M GONNA CRY-
Heart break points ;-;
This motherfucker’s the author, Shen Qingqiu kill
I hope Mr. Masturbation fucking dies I’m so upset
Shen Qingqiu kill this man and my life is yours

I find Astarion's thirst for life unmeasurable and impressive like...HOW? WHY? WHERE DOES THIS COME FROM??
Its said even before the transformation he was interested in eternal life and power; his own theme song is "I want to live"; even during his 200 years of pain and torture and suffering with seemingly doomed fate he had moments where he dared oppose his master; he is absolutely terrified after he escapes but tries his best to survive, feraly I may add, despite his lacks and faults and clumsiness. He can't make it on his own, his fate if not recruited is a grim reminder, yet even then he put such fight and opposition that Cazador had to kill him again and turn him a zombie to get control over him. So this will to live on isn't motivated just at the prospect of a better life when he sets free and joins the company. I've heard many real stories of terrible past and traumas and respective people finding the strenght to hold on to hope, to want and fight to keep on living. When asked, many of those people usually said they found the strenght in religion or their family, their loved ones, sometimes art. But what about Astarion? who doesn't have any of those? I'm not saying he sounds unrealistic, he is greatly written! just that... he is an intriguing symbol of braveness, of will to live, of strenght to keep on going despite every adversity, when there seems to be no way out, no end to the misery. And he likes these signs in others too, like he is finding kin. Oh, you seem someone with ambition? feral? you want to live high and fine and enjoy the best of life? Fav!!! Delicious even! if you're down to do some immoral stuff to get you there <3
At the moment I wish I had at least a fragment of his strenght, I could make my life better. And the best part is that he doesn't have anything special to give him advantage. He doesn't seem to be made to be one of those sappy, inspirational stories. He is fucked up, and scared, and average, and clumsy, able to set some goals but no idea how to get there. His every plan is "fuck around and find out" but he is so determined to stay around and do it. I find that amazing, and a bit funny, and endearing...and sweet...

final thoughts on the fox fella + new smol cat boi
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What I find the most fascinating about Fellow isn't the character himself but rather the fandom reaction to just seeing his design. It was a tsunami of thirst unlike anything I had ever witnessed before. People were switching up oshis entirely, those who had never made a self-insert or yume before were suddenly making ones specifically to be shipped with Fellow, it was WILD. He's a homewrecker/j I support any and all Fellowives out there👍
That being said, I'm surprised that I feel so... lukewarm about him overall????? I'm usually all gung-ho for the smiling scammer types but for some reason Fellow just doesn't resonate with me. I'll admit that he's very good-looking (I love the colors of his suit, the cravat, the colorful patched up pants, and especially the silly little half capelet thing hanging off of him). His expressions are also very fun, with some favorites being his super smug smirk and the knowing, slightly-off kilter smile. However, there's just something about Fellow's personality that doesn't sit with me quite right. I know it's not the "he's a Red Flag!! RUN AWAY NOW!!!" thing either, because I love Love LOVE red flags in fictional characters 😭
Fellow is good at charming people off the cuff and using deceit to compensate for his low magical reserves, which in of itself is intriguing. It’s also admirable that he wants to start his own school for non-mages and low-magic mages to mingle, He’s an adult that still keeps the spirit of childlike wonder alive, and that makes him fun to follow. Those are the traits of his I like.
But I get the vibes that Fellow isn't as clever or as impressive as he likes to think he is...? He's full of himself but can't exactly back up his words with action. That's not meant to be a diss at his magical prowess, he's lacking in other areas as well. Like, he's a fully grown man picking fights with kids because of a personal vendetta... and he’s steering the kids home while the island is sinking and relying on them to rescue them in case anything goes wrong?? That’s just irresponsible. Not to mention he doesn’t seem to plan ahead?? How does he not know he’s kidnapping many famous and/or powerful people with families might come after his ass if they go missing?
I think that it doesn't help that the "pathetic" vibes were being conveyed in a lot of fan art well before the twist; it only adds to his "patheticness" and it gets to a point where it's too much for me and then is no longer appealing. I can get on board with him and gloating and wanting to crush kids’ dreams because same/j but not when he’s panting and wheezing and desperately tackling them for their tickets to tear up. He doesn’t feel like a genuine threat without the support of his backers. I would still say I like the character and will happily rag on him, but I wouldn't bark for him or anything (though I will grant him points for coming close to winning the cage makes it better/j).
What I appreciate about Fellow's character is that it shows us a darker side to Twisted Wonderland. I don't necessarily think his initial motives are that deep (he's after fat stacks), but I think the sentiment behind the motives are. It pulls back the curtain and reveals an ugly truth about his magical world and the roles that money and privilege play in it. We aren't exposed to many instances of this, but they are, in fact, there (like when Yuu was insulted by Riddle in book 1). It's finally getting attention front and center now—I just wish they had gone deeper with it.
What's currently got me invested in following Fellow is his relationship with Gidel. I love that they're a "found family" (they're "sworn brothers") and that Fellow seems to look after Gidel... Telling the NRC boys not to put stupid ideas in Gidel's head, walking off with Gidel at the end, recounting the times they scammed together, putting his arm out in battle to keep Gidel behind him... (or maybe I'm just delusional and want to believe the fan art LOL). I'm such a sucker for the trope of the protective big brother 💀 Unfortunately, we don't get a ton of canon moments in the event... Like damn, not even details on how they first met or how they found this job or why specifically Fellow cares for Gidel??? I don’t like that for all that we’re told about how hard the duo’s past was, we didn’t get to hear a lot of explicit detail about it (especially when it is so inherently important to their conflict with the NRC crew and their turn at the very end). I just gotta pray their eventual card next Halloween will give more insight into this.
He’s a character I like to think about mainly because his background as a failed mage student gives me a lot to chew on in terms of questioning the world’s lore and how their society is structured. Fellow himself is good for a few laughs, but it isn’t long before my mind strays, if that makes sense. I’m not chomping at the bit, but I don’t exactly detest the guy??? I guess you would call it ambivalence; I’m only fixated on certain aspects of him (the looks, the lore he provides, and the onii-sama potential).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't really have much to comment on for Gidel, but I have to say that I like having mute representation and more magicless characters in the cast at large. His outfit is also very fun; I like how it incorporates colors you don't normally see slapped together (that shade of yellow and purple) while still looking cohesive. I keep looking at Gidel's design and seeing a mix of Cheka and Ruggie though (because of the fluffy hair, eye shape, and stature). He very much reminds me of a smol doggo I'd bump into on a walk home and spend ten minutes standing there and considering adopting it.
As I said in my thoughts on Fellow, I think Gidel is at his best when he's in his little brother-big brother dynamic with Fellow. He's just a little guy trying his best while Fellow's trying to lead them. I think that's something the whole fandom can agree on, since I see sooo many people shading Fellow for his actions but the same people squealing and patting Gidel on the head and claiming he has done nothing wrong (despite being complicit in, and actively helping with, the trafficking operation). I guess it's because Gidel is still a child and may not fully understand the implications of it???
It's very sweet and genuine that Gidel demonstrates an interest in going to school and learning—but Fellow, who has been disappointed by the world of magic academia, warns Gidel against it. In his own way, he's keeping Gidel from what he sees as an uppity, shallow realm that will crush his hopes and dreams. That's Fellow's version of "protecting" him. It's a way of telling us about their relationship without outright stating how Fellow feels about Gidel. In return, Gidel also supports him and whacks him a good one when Fellow’s down in the dumps.
I'm sad that we didn't get to see more of their dynamic in the event (like we only see them having a meaningful interaction at the very end), but maybe that's just because the fandom works have set my expectations high. Unfortunately, all those sweet moments of Fellow and Gidel bonding are seemingly confined to just fanart and fanfiction, since very little is mentioned or even implied in the event itself. I'm hoping that (assuming they get a card together next year) we get to see more glimpses of their daily life in the associated vignettes.

🧛 Simply Vampiric Legacy Challenge 🧛
This is a short legacy challenge focusing on the Vampires Pack. I made this to motivate me to play through all of the vampire aspirations with each generation having a bit of lore. Some of the rules and requirements are inspired by The Sims 4: Vampire Legacy by sims4lizzyuk!
Make a vampire in Create A Sim with the first gen’s traits and aspiration
Start your save in the fall
Move into one of the unoccupied lots in Forgotten Hollow
Each generation must complete and max out their given aspiration, skills, and career.
All coven leaders must max Vampire Lore
If any of your vampire sims die you may not resurrect them and must keep their graves on one of your lots in Forgotten Hollow
You can only travel outside of Forgotten Hollow at night unless you have the sun resistance trait or drink the sun resistance cocktail
Only vampires are allowed to live in Forgotten Hollow. If any of your children aren’t born vampires you must either turn them or banish them. All partners who live with you MUST be turned
The Coven
If you have Get Together use the club feature to create your coven. The first “leader” should be your first sim’s spouse. When a new heir is chosen they become the leader of the “coven” when they age up to a young adult. You must fill up all club spots for each generation with their immediate family and sims that they’ve turned. You must have a dinner party every time a new sim is turned to celebrate the occasion.
Generation One
Most of the vampires have been lost to a centuries-long war with Spellcasters. Your partner is the leader of the coven and although they’ve been doing an adequate job it hasn’t been enough to preserve it. You take it upon yourself to breathe new life into this desolate town and persuade your partner to appoint you as the new leader. Other vampires question your aspiration to become the new leader of the coven and wonder if you’re stuck in an old fashioned way of thinking. They begin to push against your leadership. How can they believe  being friends with humans is acceptable? It’s like playing with your food! You’re able to subdue the coven’s apprehension of your newfound leadership with your charismatic personality. The question is how long will they be under your vampiric charm?
Vampire Family Aspiration Traits: Ambitious, Self-Absorbed, Self Assured Skills: Charisma and Mischief Color: Red Career: Painter Vampire Power: Influence Emotion Weakness: Insatiable Thirst, Withered Stomach Goals Marry one of the three premade vampires: Vlad, Lilith, or Caleb Convince your spouse to  appoint you as the coven’s new leader Have vampire twins Turn at least two sims into vampires using the Vampire Creation power
Generation Two
You’ve been trained in the dark arts since you were a child, however, you plan to make changes to the coven for the better. You truly believe that humans and vampires can live in harmony. After decades of trying to perfect your plasma pack recipe you’re finally able to go out with humans without feeling an unquenchable thirst. With your expertise in human anatomy you become a doctor at a hospital that’s out of town where you meet your partner. You’re aware that being in a career where you help humans is tabu enough. The coven would question your authority if you knew you were in love with a human. Your partner asks you if you’ll turn them into a vampire even if it goes against everything you believe in to be able to stay together. You’ll do anything for the love of your life. After all, a love like this only comes to you once in an eternal lifetime. Can you live with yourself knowing you took your partner’s chance at a “normal” life or will you give up on true love and marry someone from the coven?
Good Vampire Aspiration Traits: Romantically Reserved, Good, Vegetarian Skills: Gardening and Fishing Color: Purple Career: Doctor Vampire Power: Tamed Thirst Weakness: Sloppy Drinker, Guilty Drinker Goals Move to a new lot in Forgotten Hollow when you become the coven leader Date a human sim and decide if you’ll turn them or marry a vampire from the coven Only have children with a partner that’s also a vampire
Generation Three
All you’ve ever known is life as a vampire. Although living for centuries has its perks you’ve grown quite bored of Forgotten Hollow. You’ve only read about the way humans live, meanwhile, they read the stories in your books written of vampires you’ve published as “fiction”. You wonder if there’s more to life than just… living. One day you come across an ancient vampire tome which speaks of a cure to vampirism. You’ve been given a great task as the new leader of the coven and feel great loyalty to them but is your need to live amongst humans more important than your family, and more importantly, are you willing to give up your eternal life?
Master Vampire Aspiration Traits: Bookworm, Gloomy, Loyal Skills: Writing and Pipe Organ Color: Black Career: Writer (Author) Vampire Power: Immortal Pleasures Weakness: Sleep of the Undead, Eternal Sadness Goals Move to a new lot in Forgotten Hollow when you become the coven leader Self-publish three fantasy books (unlocks at level 7 in writing) and three sad books. Choose if you continue being a vampire or if you’ll drink the vampire cure and leave Forgotten Hollow

one of the funniest things about Itachi and Sasuke is that they are BOTH so 'I love it when people play mind games with me. I will kill us both <3' coded likkkke!!
His FATHER spent Itachi's whole life grooming him to lead a coup and become the first Uchiha Hokage, and Itachi spent every second he could undermining that and then eventually has no choice but to kill him! Danzo (and Hiruzen) backed Itachi into a corner and made him do the unthinkable, so Itachi made a 10 year plan for his own death and fully intended to murder Danzo if he ever tried to pull some shit with Sauske village be damned, and THEN Sasuke finding out about the whole situaiton IS what killed Danzo in the end, and it WASN'T EVEN PART OF ITACHI'S PLAN!! Obito got so angry at this 6 year old for being an optimist and a pacifist that he killed his teammates and then actively assisted the kid in an ethnic cleansing to break Itachi's spirit and make him an ideal pawn for the Akatsuki, and Itachi just! Got super depressed (again, 10 year death plan) and hated his guts and starts dissociating whenever Obito talks!! He delays the Akatsuki's plans by years because Obito is now nervous to directly attack Konoha while Itachi's still breathing! and he's STILL spying for Konoha and Obito is either willfully ignorant because he thinks Itachi is a lame party pooper or too scared to do anything about it!!
And Sasuke???? SASUKE!!! Spends his ENTIRE LIFE under the thumb of people who think they know him and how to manipulate him and are wrong EVERY TIME! Orochimaru thinks his thirst for power is so all consuming that he doesn't care about himself or anything else outside of killing Itachi and is thus incapable of independant scheming or betrayal, and he gets KILLED FOR IT! Obito makes the SAME damn mistake he made with Itachi and underestimates Sasuke because he thinks that he's so broken by his brother's fate that he's suseptible to any and all suggestion, and Sasuke doesn't give a FUCK about ANYTHING besides his own plans anymore, and is absolutely just going to do whatever he thinks is right until it inevitably kills him, and honestly I wouldn't be surprised it Obito was on his hitlist- and, at the end of the day, Obito DOES end up dead!! Gaara tries to empathize but is still learning empathy so instead Sasuke just feels like his LITERAL GENOCIDE is being trivialized, and ALMOST dies for it! Danzo assumes he's just another corrupted wayward Uchiha, and gets KILLED FOR IT! Kakashi thinks that Sasuke is Just Like Him For Real and thus he knows that Sasuke is beyond saving and must die, and gets ALMOST killed for it and then proven WRONG!! Literally ALL of the fucking HOKAGE try to plea for Konoha's legitimacy and lie like DOGS using all of their politician plays of why Sasuke should Stop, and he calls bullshit on all of it anyway! Sasuke spent his entire young life getting passed around like a hot potatoe between men projecting their own trauma onto him and convincing themselves that they know his every move because they once were him, but NO ONE has EVER been doing it like Sasuke and none of them accounted for the fact that he's so scared of everything and full of love and never wrong and not afraid of death or any of them and they've been dead since Sasuke decided they were annoying!!
Naruto and Sakura were only able to get through to him at ALL because Naruto lacks the decorum to be manipulative and thus Sasuke can engage with his bullheaded arguments without feeling actively hunted (like he HAS BEEN his WHOLE LIFE) and Sakura actually DOES understand him and his motivations and his soul in it's entirety because she spent their adolescence studying him like a bug, so she can meet him EXACTLY where he's at. The only person in the world who ever successfully manipulated Sasuke was Itachi, which makes sense considering he mastered the art of it FIRST!!

A short meta:
Alucard is a warlord no matter what, after all these years he still thinks like one. In modern words we could use the terms "military commander, "politician", "diplomat" to describe his past position. I, personally, don't want to protray him going full insanity mindless blood thrist. Don't get me wrong, this man is still insane and blood thirst but he has a sharp strategy mind, as well as, the knowledge of art of war and commerce.
For example, he cares about human resources of the country he served (human resources undoubtedly one of the key factor to the develop of a country). Also, he understands the reason behind British empire decline, which is interesting since we could see his acknowledges of modern world politics [hcs: he frequently has dicussions with Integra on current politics]. And don't forget Vlad is one of the Romanian national heroes, even Romania Marxist historians in the 60-70s rehabilitated his status as "a cruel leader but he was motivated by the need to protect the state from internal and external threats".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Perhaps, he has learnt International relations before due to the Coldwar plus what was happened in the UK during the 20th century.
He's a vampire, yes but before that he's a ruler so politics!
[hcs: His favorite classic works are "The Prince" by Machiavelli, "Leviathan" by Hobbes & "The Tragedy of Great power politics" by Mearsheimer ]

Rating Uppermoons
Ugh I love the uppermoons. Anyways, contains: Kokushibo, Douma, Akaza, Hantengu, Gyokko, Gyutaro, Daki, Gyutaro+Daki as a duo.
Warnings: Unhinged comments, my thirst for psychotic men.
Send in requests I have no motivation :'( (I write for MHA, Creepypasta, Slashers, Demon Slayer, JJK, Harry Potter, Rick and Morty, Fantastic Beasts, Winx) Any underage characters are not permitted unless it's platonic
Multi-Masterlist! Back to Masterlist!
Uppermoon 1- Kokushibo
Tumblr media
On my knees, barking, screaming, crying, throwing up. He could eat me any day. He's hot, he's powerful, he's reasonable. What more could you want?? He is also completely ripped, and his final demon form. Gahdaym. Handle me like you handle your sword, rough 😳.
His hairrrrr! I love men with long ass hair. And it's in a pony tail?! Marriage.
10/10
Uppermoon 2- Douma
Tumblr media
I love Douma. I love manic men, what can I say?
I feel pretty bad for him, like he looked so disappointed when no one wanted to join him in season 3 episode 1 :( I'll join you bbg.
7/10
Uppermoon 3- Akaza
Tumblr media
Ugh. Don't even get me started. I love Akaza so much. Take out your frustrations on me and pound me like you pounded Tanjiros sword 😩
He's so fine and for what?
He's strong, hot, respectful..
I'll give my favourite basketball a 9/10, he could be a little less power thirsty.
Hantengu
Tumblr media
His demon art is pretty cool!
He also has a more 'demonic' look about him. If he were a little less of a wimp he'd have more potential, like if it were hard to behead him in the first place but even if you manage it even more powerful versions of him appear.
I really want to stick a pin into the lump on his head to see if it would pop.
He has the same haircut as about 70% of old men.
I'll give him a 7/10, he'd be so much better if he had a stronger personality.
Gyokko
Tumblr media
I absoloutely love Gyokko!
His demon art is very cool, I think he's a very underrated character.
He definitely has so much more potential, call me biased idc.
He has a super cool character design! Gyokko could've done so much more.
I'll give fish boy a 10/10, he deserves more love
Gyutaro
Tumblr media
Gyutaro is so cool! It's a shame his backstory is so sad, poor bby deserved so much more.
His dubbed voice>>
His character design is one of my favourites along with Gyokko, his blood demon art was also pretty cool, not quite on my list of favourites but close to!
One of the prettiest demons, fight me.
I'll give this skrunkly boy a 10/10.
Daki
Tumblr media
Even though Daki was an asshole, you can't help but like her character.
Definitely one of the more.. demonic demons? If you get what I'm trying to say.
Her only downside is she wasn't very strong, she could've been but she relied on her brother too much. Her blood demon art is probably one of my favourites.
I'll give her a 8/10.
Gyutaro + Daki as a duo
Tumblr media
It's a shame because I like both these characters and I love their dynamic but Daki brings Gyutaro down.
Gyutaro could have easily climbed the Uppermoon ranks if it weren't for Daki. Even Muzan said she brought him down. Gyutaro's sole purpose was to protect Daki and that's what got him killed.
I love both the characters but I'll have to give the duo a 6/10 :(.

Creature Corner: Undead part 1
Tumblr media
(art by Damjan-Gjorgievski on DeviantArt)
 Overview
We’re almost done covering creature types in Pathfinder 1st Edition, and we’ve hit upon one of the largest and most well-known, the undead. After all, mythology, folklore, and gaming is full of unliving abominations that heroes are given carte blanche to destroy, exorcise, or lay to rest.
But is that all the undead are? And what exactly is an undead in the context of Pathfinder and Starfinder? If we just say “a corpse that moves under it’s own power, then that would bring up the question of flesh-made constructs as well as incorporeal spirits, whereas saying that they are unquiet souls leaves out soulless entities like most skeletons, zombies, and other lesser undead.
So let’s take a moment to define what an undead is in the context of the game. Undeath seems to be what happens when negative energy, the very source of entropy and endings, is twisted into serving as a surrogate for positive energy. This reanimates a corpse, or a possessed object, or simply ties a soul to the ethereal plane with no ability to move on.
This can happen for several reasons. Sometimes it’s done directly by necromantic magic, twisting the energies of life and death to give unlife to that which should stay dead. Most commonly such necromancers do so to create servants, assassins, guardians, or just set them loose to cause chaos, anything to satisfy that rush of power. However, undead can also arise on their own, commonly because some strong emotion festers in their soul after death, causing them to refuse the call of the afterlife and linger, even animating their old body or barring that, other materials to exact their will upon the world, though some don’t even do that, lingering within or on the borders of the Ethereal Plane to lash out at mortals they reach across the veil to harm while remaining almost entirely impotent to actually affect the material world.
Regardless of the reason, negative energy being used as a motivating force goes against it’s function within the cosmos. As such, even sapient undead feel strong urges to consume and destroy in the same way that negative energy breaks down life and matter. Some hunger for flesh or thirst for blood, others seek to drain energy or even souls from the living, and others simply seek to destroy. Those with strong wills can fight these urges, but in doing so they weaken the very energies that give them unnatural vitality. A zombie bound to farming or other activities that create will often rot much faster than one used as a weapon. Meanwhile, an intelligent undead may go mad with their urges until they either find a way to fulfill them, or eventually find some corner to fade away or at least enter torpor in.
In any case, while it’s not impossible for undead to be good or at least non-evil, those dark urges still remain, being something they struggle against, or let twist them so much they embrace them entirely and become more akin to an unrecognizable monster wearing the flesh of who they once were.
In this way, the undead are often just as much victims as they are villains, especially since certain undead can turn those they kill into more like themselves and even exert control over those they turn. Imagine being fully sapient but unable to disobey your literal killer, who will probably order you to slay your friends or people you don’t know until you either become like them or you are set free by either their death or yours, or perhaps existing long enough to become a fully fledged member of your type of undead, independent of their will (there are no mechanics for that last bit, but I imagine it has to happen, right?). All that certainly makes the prospect of skipping all the research into lichdom to become a vampire less appealing to most.
However, not all undead are unwilling or even aware of their undead status. Many evil folk possess the negative emotions required to latch onto their old life if their bodies are not properly sanctified, and others might be so wrapped up in those feelings, particularly when it comes to spectral dead, that they might not even be fully cognizant. They might act out the same actions, mistaking mortals for part of their routine if they notice them at all, or reacting with violence at such disruptions. Many may be tied to the location of their death as well.
It's such obsessions and bonds that are the reason that ghostly undead apocalypses (which are mechanically very possible since a single shadow could convert entire cities into an army of life-draining monsters in a single night) don’t happen usually. A spectral undead, even one in a city, may be bound to a single building, or obsessively act as they did in life, only taking victims of opportunity despite most mortals being powerless against their incorporeal form.
And then there are haunts, phenomena that resemble traps in terms of mechanics, but cover a lot of spooky events that we see a lot in stories and media. Such events may be one or more souls too diffused to properly form an undead entity, or it may just be a psychic impression of such a torment. (heck, some places might be so filled with emotion that a single undead might manifest dozens of haunts tied directly to them and the events and traumas of their life.
As we can see, there is a lot to unpack with undead from both an in-universe level, but also on an out of game, Doylist level.
Within the game, undead can certainly be simple monsters that the party just kills, populating your dungeons or being part of monstrous outbreaks and the like. But given that most undead enter that state due to their history, and others are victims of other undead or necromancers, there is a lot of room for juicy story if you can work it in.
Meanwhile, out of game or the context of their stories, undead can be allegories for many things. Everything from the consumptive nature of capitalism to the dangers of losing your empathy with humanity, or conversely in situations where the undead is the protagonist or not an antagonist, they might represent the struggle with mental illness or some other malady.
Of course, with any fictional figure, undead can and have been used to represent some bad stuff by bad people, so keep that in mind.
Even though I go in depth with every creature type, it’s clear that the undead definitely do deserve the full exploration of their dark, spooky depths, so stay tuned this week as we dive into them!

2. Tell us why you love one of your OCs or an obscure canon character (link to any fics/art you have featuring them!)
I am not going to talk about Daeron. But here's my most extensive defense and fic collection, for those interested!
I am going to talk about AMROD, my latest investment. A son of Feanor, not very obscure? But Amrod being a character with motives and a unique story? Basically an OC, honestly. The "sinister" (Christopher Tolkien's word) story in the Shibboleth of Feanor (Crispy Amrod) has, understandably, captured the imagination of many readers, and an Amrod who dies at Losgar used to be my preferred canon also. But then I encountered this version of the third kinslaying in the Annals of Beleriand II (also in AB I):
Damrod and Diriel [= Amrod and Amras] ravaged Sirion, and were slain. Maidros and Maglor were there, but they were sick at heart.
(For what it's worth, AB was written between 1930-1937, the same time period as the two texts used to put together this section of the Silm) ... and I was like, "Hold up. Violent, ravaging Ambarussar? Okay, let's imagine that's how things did go down at Sirion. What would have led to them being the driving force between the 'cruellest of the slayings of Elf by Elf'?"
Then I thought, "And how could that be reconciled with the story in the Shibboleth of Feanor?"
So I took the fanon of Lightly Toasted Amrod (i.e., Amrod is burnt badly, but survives), knit it together with Savage Amrod... and produced a very fucked up, and I think compelling, character who goes through a tragic arc worthy of a son of Feanor.
He is one of the protagonists in Who By Fire (cw: uncle/nephew pairing, explicit). I have designs to write more about him.
Also a shout out to the characterisation of Amrod in @dawnfelagund's By the Light of Roses (AO3 is down so I can't link, but it's there).
3. One of the best takes you’ve ever seen
I answered this once here, but I'm gonna shout out your recent Daeron/Maglor meeting. THIRST QUENCHED by that ficlet.
9. Your favourite fanon
This is a hard one (and I have no one to blame but myself). One of my favourites is Maglor dual wielding. I know it's impractical, but have you considered that it's sexy? Also I guess both Daeron and Maglor using Songs of Power is fanon since it's not something that actually happens in canon but it's pretty essential to both characters to me.

New verse added! Demi-god
Asriel, the son of Ares, was born into a legacy of war and conflict that echoes through the ages. As a demigod, he navigates the complex interplay between the mortal realm and the divine. His father, Ares, the Greek god of war, is infamous for his ferocity and insatiable thirst for battle. Unlike many of Ares' other offspring, however, Asriel has cultivated a unique sense of empathy and an unwavering desire for justice, distinguishing him from the typical children of the god of war.
Early Life
Asriel’s childhood was marked by rigorous training at Camp Half-Blood, where he honed his combat skills under the watchful eyes of seasoned demigod instructors. The training was intense, aimed at forging him into an unparalleled warrior. Yet, amidst the grueling sessions, his mortal mother—a wise and compassionate woman—imparted crucial lessons about morality and the importance of fighting for a cause greater than oneself. This duality shaped Asriel into a multifaceted individual, one capable of wielding immense strength while also embodying deep compassion.
Personality
Asriel finds himself torn between the legacy of his divine heritage and his personal convictions. In battle, he is fierce and formidable, known for his strategic acumen and remarkable feats of strength. However, he is also introspective, often questioning the motives behind the conflicts he encounters. His natural empathy allows him to connect with others on a profound level, making him a revered leader and a beacon of hope for those suffering under tyranny.
Abilities
Enhanced Strength: Asriel possesses superhuman strength, a gift from his father, making him a formidable opponent in any physical confrontation.
Combat Mastery: Trained in various forms of combat at Camp Half-Blood, he excels with a diverse array of weapons and martial arts techniques.
War Tactics: With an innate understanding of battlefield strategy, Asriel can anticipate and counter the moves of his enemies effectively.
Aura of Courage: Those who fight alongside him feel emboldened and less susceptible to fear, a subtle influence from his divine lineage.
Healing Factor: Asriel heals from injuries more quickly than a typical demigod, though not as rapidly as a full god.
Asriel is driven by a determination to prove that strength and combat prowess can be used for noble purposes. He seeks to protect the innocent and uphold justice, striving to redefine the often-maligned legacy of his father. His ultimate goal is to forge a new path, one where the power of war is wielded to bring about peace and stability rather than chaos and destruction.
Appearance
Asriel is an imposing figure, standing tall at 6 feet 3 inches, with a powerful build reflecting years of rigorous training and battle experience. His physique showcases the benefits of his divine heritage, with well-defined muscles that ripple beneath his skin. Every movement exudes a blend of the grace of a warrior and the precision of a tactician.
His features bear the unmistakable mark of his lineage: a strong jawline, piercing eyes that glint with determination, and a tousled mane of dark brown hair that falls to his shoulders. His expressions often reveal his inner conflict—ranging from furrowed brows during moments of contemplation to fierce grins when battle calls.
Adorned in battle-worn armor crafted from enchanted materials, Asriel’s attire is functional yet imposing. A crimson cloak, symbolizing his connection to Ares, billows behind him, fluttering with every swift movement. Across his chest, the insignia of a sword crossed with a shield is emblazoned, signifying him as a warrior of honor and duty.
In battle, Asriel wields an impressive array of weapons, mastering each with precision. At his hip hangs a sheathed longsword, its blade shimmering with a faint aura of divine power. Strapped across his back is a sturdy shield adorned with intricate engravings, a testament to his defensive prowess. Each piece of his equipment is meticulously maintained, reflecting his dedication to his craft and readiness for any challenge.
Despite his formidable appearance, Asriel possesses an undeniable aura of nobility and steadfastness. His presence commands respect, not only for his physical might but also for the indomitable spirit that drives him in his quest to protect the innocent and uphold the virtues of justice and honor.

🐏🔥 Aries: The Fierce Pioneer of the Zodiac 🔥🐏
In the vast celestial tapestry, Aries takes its place as the first and boldest sign of the Zodiac, representing the fiery essence of new beginnings, bravery, and boundless enthusiasm. Born between March 21 and April 19, those under this dynamic sign are ruled by the impulsive and audacious planet Mars. Aries' symbolism revolves around the Ram, embodying a headstrong and relentless spirit that charges fearlessly towards its aspirations.
At the heart of Aries lies an undeniable sense of leadership and individuality. Just as spring breathes life into nature, Aries exudes an invigorating energy that propels them to initiate and innovate. They are the trailblazers, always ready to venture into uncharted territories, setting the tone for the entire Zodiac.
Yet, Aries' ambition can sometimes lead to impatience, urging them to leap into the fray without proper planning. This inherent desire for instant action can be both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it fuels their fearlessness and enables them to seize opportunities with unparalleled zeal. On the other, it can leave them grappling with the consequences of rash decisions.
Aries' fiery nature translates to their relationships as well. They are fiercely loyal and protective of their loved ones, standing as pillars of support during times of adversity. However, their intensity might occasionally clash with those who prefer a more measured and composed approach. At their core, Aries seeks mutual respect and admiration, valuing sincerity and honesty above all else.
In the realm of careers, Aries thrives in roles that require initiative, tenacity, and the ability to lead by example. They make for natural entrepreneurs, driven to manifest their ideas into tangible realities. Their capacity for boundless energy and unwavering determination positions them as charismatic motivators, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.
In times of conflict, Aries must learn to temper their aggression and embrace compromise. Striking a balance between their fervent drive and the art of diplomacy is essential for fostering harmonious relationships and achieving long-term success.
Aries stands tall as the vanguard of the Zodiac, embodying the spirit of fearless exploration and unyielding determination, much like their zodiac symbol, the Ram. Just as the Ram charges forth with unwavering confidence, Aries exhibits a resolute drive to conquer challenges and blaze new trails. Their unbridled passion and thirst for adventure inspire awe and admiration in those around them, much like the Ram's majestic presence in the wild. As they journey through life, Aries' transformative power serves as a reminder to all of us to embrace our inner pioneers and boldly embrace the unknown, just as the Ram fearlessly ventures into uncharted territory. Let us celebrate Aries, the dynamic celestial warrior, and cherish the boundless possibilities they bring into our lives, much like the Ram's awe-inspiring spirit that leaves an indelible mark on the world. 🌌✨️🔥🐏
