a dropout uni student with raging nicotine addiction (smokey did not retain any uni info but vic used to be psych student (projecting much lol))

prolly watched marble hornets with friends for fun and against better judgement decided to give a visit to rosswood park thinking its a film project in the beginning

turns out its not and they spotted the lanky guy

smokey the horror movie enthusiast wants out at that point before shize goes down but its late and they r deep in the forest so comes to conclusion they r all p much dead at this point

peeps want to go hunt for the lanky man cus cool and internet views

my guy is like f that yall r following basic horror lore of everyone dies im not playin like that and straight up says hes not going and hed rather go and sleep in the burned down psych ward

he gets called a wimp but decides if hes gonna die hes not dying an idiot and decides to vidtape everything on his mid tier phone camera

not sure what happens to the rest but they do their meet cute w slendy and prolly with time like half of em ends up in the arko e way or another

smokey manages most of the night fine but like luck would have it still end up meeting the guy

does not go well

wakes up in the burned down hospital not remembering the last unknown time and broken phone beyond repair

decides oho this is bad lets go back to uni and never talk abt it

meets with most friends back at uni but like 2 of em r missing and they just pretend nothing happened, friend group dissolves

after that he starts slowly having memory gaps, waking up in other places

all comes to head when it turns out he missed 5 months of uni after he wakes up back in rosswood really far from home and skinnier than ever and suddenly no more uni student

after that victor surfaces less and less till hes just kinda gone at that point

Smokey first shows up the night victor goes with friends to rosewood

in the beginning surfaces confused unsure who they are and what is their purpose

with time smokey goes through both phone and computer of vics

binges whole marble hornets in one sitting and decides he has a personal vendetta against the operator

since then they work on somehow stoping it (and terribly fails given the lack of information) leading to continuous trips back to rosewood and sleepovers in the rubble of the ex psych ward

figuring out the nicotine addiction takes a bit of time and leads to pretty nasty withdrawal symptoms as well as a very wrecked dorm room (he does find the cigarettes tho and is smart enough to connect the dots (smart cookie, here have a star sticker))

smokey learns asl and isolates themself a lot in the months of operator research

he still maintains two personas to some extends which is one the masked smokey who uses mostly asl and rarely speaks (to some extent also a tactic against being caught by police) and times when he goes without mask on library searches and grocery shoppings

smokey starts a yt channel dedicated to catching the operator and ending it which attracts at best some people commenting on obvious marble hornets ripoff and few cents into his wallet

with passing time they do start finding victims in order to keep themselves alive n appease the the big slinky leading to series of alleged suicides then turned to series of murders

he starts off with two of his ex friends who go back to rosewood and start showing symptoms he learned from mh

When they commit murder they hide in the trunk of the car and basically hotbox the whole thing due to smoking making the victim whoozy and confused, moving on they connect a pipe (like garden hose or whatevs) to the exhaustion pipe and suffocate their victims with the car smoke

the thing that tips off the police is the nicotine in the system of every victim and an account of almost to be one that got stalked by smokey who upon being discovered (also while smoking and which earned him the name) decided to bolt

since then he continues on just about the same, aka researching the operator, finding new victims and surviving untill they meet Something

His hoodie is dark green, the mask is greyish from the grime n dirt, the big cross on it is black so are his pants and hair

Real name : Rae Dyer

Age : 23 before transformation, currently unknown

Something used to be a cryptid fan. They worked at a radio station and had a small night show where they played old rock and often rambled about the latest creature they heard about. While out, looking for a new creature to maybe see, they stumbled upon the Slenderman and became obsessed to document it somehow, quickly spiraling out of control and slowly, bit by bit became a creature themselves.

Something doesn't remember much from it's past life. It used to just wander, guided by the static in it's head towards it's victims, always terrified itself but not knowing why. After Smokey found it, they started wandering together. At first they had serious communication issues - Something only able to speak in tap code and Smokey mainly using ASL - but with time they learned to speak with each other, and now they can understand the other almost without words.

Something doesn't really eat, it survives on fear and between itself and Smokey, it always has more than enough of it. It does steal food for Smokey tho, cigarettes as well, usually leaving them in whatever ruined building he decided to stay in for the night. Something got also addicted to nicotine by just being around Smokey so much, leading to separation anxiety fueled by withdrawal when they're apart.

Something cannot speak, and can only communicate using tap code. When it's particularly worried or scared it does emit a small noise, that sounds like a particularly breathy whine, and more commonly when it tries to speak, quiet spider like ticking can be heard coming from it's mouths.

It usually walks hunched over, used to having to duck under branches, entryways, etc bc of it's height.

Something has pale skin reminiscent of porcelain, and is usually wearing a v neck sweater with a white undershirt and jeans or other pants. It's hair is very thin and scarce, floating around it's head down to it's lower back

Also a tiny doodle bonus of how I imagine these two showing up on Jacks doorstep xjbxbcbcb

We think the most probable case of them showing up would be Smokey getting bonked on a mission (probably by a car or a would be victim) and Something bringing them over to Jacks cabin to get pached up, tho feel free to do something else ya might think fits =w=

So short story i have this one toxic trait,probably “being manipulative” i already have bf but evrytime a boy approached me, especially on here, i let them talk to me and i gave them attention, motivation and affection, honestly i do that because i just wanted a friend to talked to, I didn’t have any feelings, even though i said to them i have connections or feelings, i lied. plus i love attention they gave to me as well. but once I’m bored with them or if I don’t got what I wanted, i throw them away, i ghost them and cut the connection or if they begging me for not leaving i became so evil and hurt their feelings, that’s why last year i have stalkers because i think some of them still mad at me but won’t leave me alone, some of them threatened me via email or text messages, but I don’t really care fr. Cause they lived so so far away from me.

One time, this boy he dm me trough insta, he lived in another city but pretty close to mine, only took 3 hour driving. I did the same thing to him, we texting, giving each other motivation, it was fun until I realized this bitch has the same personality as me, like broo he sooo manipulative, even i fell for his trapped TWICEE!! in the beginning. I’ve should’ve stopped when I realized it but I felt challenged…LMAO. So I ended up fooled him too i think more than twice.

one time, he wants to visit me after my graduation, i acted up like im happy, but once he’s arrived i ghosted him, and blocked him from insta, I deleted his contact too, he ended up calling me with his other number and when I picked up i said “wait.. who tf is this” and then he’s cried, but he’s not even mad at that timw cause he wants to meet me so bad, afterr that he came to my house giving me a big bouquet of flowers. And I asked him to stay in the city for 1 week only just so I could get free dinner and free riding home and a person to entertain me after a long day at work. After meeting him in real life i know this guy has low self esteem, I’m not even do anything but he’s so nervous. i know how to acted up to make him feel crazy for me, and he fell for it. At the end of the week I felt really done and bored, he also tried to cross my boundaries even though he knows i have bf, this guy is delusional and kinda narcissistic but in real life he’s a coward, he even asked me to meet at the hotel but i never wanted to, lucky me im not that stupid. so short story i dump him I’m telling all the truth, he mad he doesn’t accept what i did, the moment he cursed me, so i said to him he make me feel disgusted and while he still typing I blocked his number. Yes he is, I confessed everything once I decided to change to be a good person this year, he forgives me and give me a 2nd chance. And no im never do something manipulative or jus using my bf, I really loved him, i think having my bf in my life is the best gift from god, he leads me to a good path and a better person, he’s very patient with me. after about ten months of HRT, beetlejuice starts to notice his boyfriend getting a little depressed that he hasn’t started growing facial hair yet. there’s been lots of other changes, good ones that’ve made his breather real happy and confident, but beej knew he was really looking forward to having that facial affirmation. BJ sits him down one night when dysphoria is hitting him especially hard and gets out a black marker. there’s no room for protest before beej begins crudely rendering a smudgy beard and mustache onto his lover’s face, brows furrowed in concentration. at the end, his human canvas ends up looking like a charcoal-slathered chimney sweep, but there’s a smile on the man’s face and that’s all beetlejuice really cares about. BJ lets his bf draw a stupid marker beard on his face too so they match. the beards are completely ruined during a later make-out session. 

they don’t often have heart-to-hearts. beetlejuice never hangs for long around serious folks and his bf shares the same sentiment, but they have their moments. the pair of them are smoking on the roof one night arguing over which constellation would have the biggest dick when the living man falls silent for a spell. 

“i think you’re the only person i know who truly, y’know… gets it.”

“huh?” beej distractedly drags on his cigarette.

oh, that just about does the old poltergeist in. it takes him every spore in his moldy body to keep it together when his boyfriend turns to him and says that last part, handsome eyes full of naked adoration. its all he can do to grab that silly cute bastard by the face and smash their bodies together. beetlejuice has never been eloquent, always ruins sentimental moments with his sarcasm and puns, but thankfully his boyfriend understands this and realizes just how much his sappiness means to beej at the end of the night.

Where did you meet your boyfriends? I've never really been in a meaningful relationship and I don't even know where to start. 2) met via tumblr when he anon messaged me and then followed up by email and then started telling me about his public health advocacy and three months later he visited me and I slept on the couch and he had my room and we talked about public health until midnight and the next night he tried on all my clothes while I did homework and the next night we watched my beautiful laundrette and I hit on him and he was really flustered but then we hooked up and then we started saying boyfriend after his second visit

3) met on scruff a year ago — I went over to his house and he smoked me out, fucked me really well , and then gave me a snack and played really good music and I was like man I wanna do this again and then three months later he was making me mushroom risotto after my 9:30 pm class and I was like fuck I love this man

4) he is the long term boyfriend of my friend who I met thru tumblr when I was fifteen; they both hit on me spontaneously at a sex party last summer and we then all hooked up all summer both separately and together and the sex with both my friend and his boyfriend was amazing and then me and his bf kept seeing each other casually and then eventually it stopped being as casual ; he is still primary partners w my friend . this is the situation that makes me feel most like I am a character in a midcentury novel

Basically a lot of random good fortune re men has come my way this year but yeah I would suggest building community where you are and also seeking connection with people even if they are far away and also experimenting with apps because you can’t get less nervous about it without trying it out tbh ! I have had good and also very bad experiences with apps and don’t currently use them but also a good app hookup can really make ur week or month imo .

ev dznt want his fiancé to rly leave the apartment when he’s visiting from college (which is every weekend) so when we’re home at the same time and waiting for ev to leave work, we usually talk to one another and his fiancé (blake) has told me some weird things. like, ev dznt want him looking or speaking a certain way. he had him cut off his bleached hair and micromanages his wardrobe, has barred certain slang (pburgh native stuff generally) from his use – “my boyfriend isn’t going to speak like that”. I’ve told him my feelings on the matter, that I think he wants blake to be something that he isn’t and the more his reality clashes w that fantasy, the more tension will arise. and I think he like, knows this to some extent but isn’t ready to process that. and it’s like, whatever, i get it, people need to come to these conclusions on their own and I’ve been on both sides of the situation enough times to know that. but i worry abt him, you know

he proposed to his last serious bf abt 2 months after theyd broken up, which obviously was rejected. he kept the ring and wore it himself for a while. when blake showed me his engagement ring, it was the same one. it felt so... strange to jst keep that reaction to myself

What’s your love story with your gf if you don’t mind me asking?

anon this is going to be long because i never get to tell the story or talk about my relationship since me and my gf aren’t out yet :( don’t worry i’ll add a tl;dr at the end in case you wanted the short version

so we met in uni, we shared a few classes at the end of 2015 but truly got to know each other during the second half 2016 because shared almost every class during that semester. She was really easy talk to and really friendly and funny and so smart so i was always asking for help in class :( we started hanging out more often and i saw her every day so i kind of started liking her but didn’t want to admit until she got a boyfriend and that felt :/// that happened in september/october idr, but i do remember i always got mad when she cancelled plans with me to be with him or like got really sad or uncomfortable would bring up the subject :( so by now i knew i liked her but just brushed off as a simple crush. 

Fast forward to summer 2017 january i came out to her while i was drunk lmao i sent her multiple texts saying that i was bi that i was sorry and if she didn’t want to be my friend i understood it and blah blah blah, i didnt tell her i had a crush on her tho!! she replied the next morning saying she was okay with it that i shouldn’t be apologizing and that it was really (tbh i was too embarassed to even read it so idk what else was there) i just told her “let’s forget abt this pls” and we did, we didn’t mention it ever again lmao So idk when but thing started to change when classes started in march again we didn’t have classes together so i didn’t see her a lot in uni but i visited her house quite often and things started to change . she was always very touchy but now she held my hand more often or if we were watching movies she would cuddle with me it was really nice, but it just fueled the crush i had :(( 

MAY 2017 her birthday came and she had a party obviously her bf was there :) this is where i knew that it was more than a crush because i remember that when i saw them kissing my heart really fucking hurt even though i was drunk, later that night he went home and i stayed over with other friends and for a few minutes we cuddled a bit while sleeping and that just felt so perfect :((( but it didnt last long because one friend was so drunk he wouldn’t shut up and we had to calm him down. so now i KNOW im in love with a straight girl with a bf

JUNE 2017 all the cuddling and hand holding and hugs and touchy acts were starting to get to me on one hand it felt nice and wonderful and perfect on the other she still had a bf and for me she was in love with him so :/// i was determined to put some distance between us so one saturday night my parents were out of town and i invited some high school friends over and got really really really drunk and i just texted her “hey im sorry but i need to stay away from you” or smth and she called because she wanted to know why or what had happened i couldn’t fucking talk to her, words literally wouldn’t come out of my mouth and all i could say was “you don’t realize?” (TALK ABT DRAMATIC) she got frustrated with me and said “i wanted to fix this but if that’s what you want ill give your space” MY DRUNK ASS THEN THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT IDEA TO TELL HER THE REASON BEHIND AND JUST CONFESSED VIA TEXT it said smth like “i like you but i know you dont because you have a bf and that’s okay but i really need to forget abt you so i need space” she answered the next morning saying she was surprised but now understood better and she will give me the space i needed but if i promise i would go back to being her friend after, i was too embarassed and was kind of short with my answers and the whole thing ended up in bad terms that day

destiny was a fucking bitch because the next day and the following days i kept running into her at uni and it was so awkward  we both didnt know what to do :/ three days later she texted me if we could talk and i agreed and she cried bc she didn’t know what i expected her to do if i wanted her to ignored me completely or if a hi was okay and i just didnt know how to handle everything and at the end we agreed no contact or speaking but that lasted like a day because i thought everything over that night and realize that i was being a selfish idiot and that the situation was making everything worse because now i thought about her even more and just wasn’t working as i thought. we talked the next day and i asked her if we could forget abt everything and just act normally BUT BEFORE THAT AKSCLNAS i asked her to tell me that she’ll never see me like more than a friend and that she loved her bf she did and then we agreed to forget abt this

the following days were so awkward for me because i was so embarrased abt this whole fiasco but she didn’t let me avoid her lmao and well she was extra touchy now i remember that not long after we got back too being in good terms we took a cab to her house and during most of the ride she was hugging me or holding my hand she says it was bc she wanted everything to go back to normal.

JULY 2017 my favorite month sooooo she and her bf started having problems (i think this started months before but i was just finding out because of our mutual friend) and our cuddling and hand holding had increased a lot :( one night we were skyping and her mom comes in and she mentions smth abt her bf being in the past and i was just :O but didnt say anything until the next day and she confirmed it, she said the feelings just weren’t there and that she had tried to break it up much sooner but he asked for a second chance but at the end it wasn’t fair for either of them to continue so she ended it, i told her i was sorry to hear that and didnt really talk abt it that much, days passed and midterms started and i had trouble with this particular course so i asked her if i could sleep over her house and stay up studying she agreed and well KCLKCNANCANCM it was late like past midnight almost 1 am and i wasn’t getting any of the stuff she was tired so we kinid of said fuck it. she turned off the lights and i was just messing around with the music from her lap we both layed down and obviously she cuddled and i tried to distract myself changing the music  but i could feel her face really close like realllyyyyyy close so i turned my head and i could feel how close our lips were but i quickly turned back to looking at the laptop because i thought it was an accident but she didnt move and i turned my head again and i could see she was awake but didnt move away so i did lmao i was so fucking nervous and i turned again to see her reaction but this time she kissed me!!!! it was so soft and tender and just magical it was an undescrible feeling still one of my favorite moments ever :( after that she just smiled  and said “let’s sleep” so i closed the laptop and hug her and tried to sleep but i couldn’t because i didnt know what it meant or what she expected from me or if she even liked me dkascla next morning was cute too we were woken up by a noise and she just got closer to me and gave me a small peck on the lips and went back to sleep and i just died again and held her closer and went back to bed 

we talked abt it days later lmao midterms ended and there was a party and after it i slept over her house and just drunkly asked her if this was a game or just smth she was curious abt or why she had kissed me that day, she said she liked me :D and that this wasn’t a game and i told her ok let’s talk more when im not this drunk mvlmsnackjc we dated for months but we count as part of the relationship and  i finally asked her to be my gf in november 2017 after giving her a cd with all the songs i listenned since i knew i liked her aslcnscncl dumb i know but in that moment i thought it would be cute and i also gave her this necklace i used as a charm 

now she’s in this uni program that’s really good for her career but it involves her being in another continent for a year, she left in march 2018 but came to visit in august !!!! and still has a few days until she has to go back but will come for a few days for christmas and then she’ll be back in march for good nnckascnaskcnasnd  it’s hard but i love her and wouldn’t change any of it 

TL;DR we met in uni, i liked her, she had a bf, i confessed while drunk, she said it was okay but only saw me as a friend, broke up with her bf, kissed me and now we’ve been together for a year and 2 months
