gunter is one of my favorite characters in adventure time but i am so. so distraught that he gets no love especially as the ice thing. i think im very partial to the 1000+ yrs adventure time stuff in general but ice thing is SO GOOD

the fact that gunter is fulfilling like,, the original (dinosaur gunther) gunther's wish to be the ice king feels like it's so. poetic

something about the ice thing scratches my brain so good. his laugh sounding like ice king's laugh but it's off, more,, scratchy ? i think it adds to his animalistic feel. i want to know how he feels about turtle princess and how he dealt with her death so bad there's I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AUUUUGH

oh my god. I don't know when exactly this happened (sometime in the past year??) but all of those dress up oc games that got nuked by the end of flash and have been dead for the past two years are BACK. Including the beautiful wedding dress one on Azaleas Dolls that I thought was gone forever, only to be remembered in my screenshots, but I just checked and it's loading without errors !! (though the ability to change colours seems to be gone, darn)

I'm assuming someone finally got Ruffle to work with these but you gotta understand, I had already given up and accepted my fate with Picrew and now they're all working again??? Amazing. I understand that this is a niche thing to be excited about but holy shit they're back!!

SPOILERS!!! REFERENCES AND EASTER EGGS IN F&C ep. 3: Cake the Cat

The dungeon that Finn and Jake are crawling in the opening scene looks very similar to the Temple of Thorogon from an unproduced episode that would have been part of season one of the original show. Spotted by @digamma-f-wau.

This is the Finn and Jake we saw in the trailer! They are indeed from an alternate universe where Jake survived.

Minerva makes a cameo. She arrived in Ooo during the montage in the finale of the original series.

This is the two-headed duck from the original show's title sequence.

This is the butterfly from the credits of Simon Petrikov, the second episode, where it was resting on the mask of the bear that Finn slew.

The non-flying squirrel and the other animals who try to kidnap him and bring him back to their cult are from Up a Tree. Finn also ate the same kind of cursed apple in that episode as Cake.

The Ice Thingdom already looks a lot like it does in the 1000+ scenes.

These kinds of universal translators were first seen in My Two Favorite People. This one has more voices and seems more advanced, but the three voices from that episode can briefly be heard; demon, alien, and old man.

There are lots of returning species in the market scene; hot dog knights, soft people, wood people, rock people, spiky people, slime people, cuties, berry people, goblins, cloud people, and several of the characters from Memories of Boom Boom Mountain. The girl playing the guitar is Rainy from the episode Another Way and it's possible the tree stump playing the woodblock is meant to be the one from that same episode.

There's a worm here who appears for like five frames and looks like Shelby.

I'm not sure why the hot dog knight got Prismo-teleported away.

Astrid mentions she was born in the new human city, which means she is twelve or younger, and means it didn't take long for the city to be constructed after the humans arrived in Ooo.

The dream in this episode's credits is a truck full of apples with a wheel missing. I wonder if these mean anything.

Homestuck AU where it's Adventure Time: Day 2

Rose is the Ice Elemental for her an analytical and cold demeanor. She's a Water Nymph that became frozen, which funnily enough was apparently the origin story of The Ice Queen in The Adventure Time Comics [Source].

She's currently living with her mother in The Ice Thingdom, ruled by post-finale Gunter "The Ice Thing". The Ice Thing was very much in a loving relationship with Turtle Princess, but after she died Ice Thing basically reverted back to season one Ice King. This means Mom Lalonde gets kidnaped regularly.

Oh also Rose is kinda obsessed with Golb.

Who is the Ice Prince? Fiona and Cake Theory

I'll explain.

Ice Thing was created when Gunther the Penguin used the Crown to wish to be like the Ice King. Because Gunther truly loved the Ice King.

Ice Thing is everything Gunther thinks Ice King is through the lens of adoration. An idealized form of Ooo's Ice King.

So why is he the Ice Prince to Fiona? Because in the Ice King's fanfiction he wrote himself into Fiona's story as her ideal love interest.

Which Gunther knows.

So, in being the ideal Ice King, Ice Thing is also Fiona's ideal romantic interest, so to Fiona, he fits the mold of a handsome shojo love interest opposite her shojo heroine.

Furthermore, Gunther saw himself as Ice King's son with the Ice King calling him the man of the house and Ice Thing being the Ice King's heir to the Ice Kingdom (Thingdom). Therefore, Icething is the Ice Prince.

So I've been seeing lots of theories regarding the 1000+ Ooo, especially stemming from the opening of Come Along with me

I think it's safe to believe the one imprisoned in the ice prison is PB and the one with the red boots looking through the Ice Kingdom (Thingdom?) on the Giant Duck is Marceline. It was said that all Elementals are shown during the opening, and we can see Patience's ice dome where she hibernates, the flame (X), slime (O) and lumpy space elementals. If all elementals are there, then it means the candy one was shown. According to Steve Wolfhard, X and O were included in order to give closure to Flame Princess and Slime Princess. The fact no such character appears representing the candy element seems to imply PB isn't dead unlike these two so it's fair to assume these hands do belong to PB. Also, the Giant Duck only appeared once before, in Evicted, the first episode Marceline appeared. And given the initials "MA" (possibly Marceline Abadeer) on the telescope. It seems to solidify that it is supposed to be Marceline.

Now this isn't a new theory, mostly just my two cents on it. However, I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone speculate on why Bubblegum is emprisoned in an ice prison, so I'd like to add on that.

I think Bubblegum has been imprisoned by Patience after she awakened from her hibernation (which was set for 1000 years, so it'd fit in the timeline) and Marceline is looking for her (and might get some help from Beth and Shermy, who knows).

It wouldn't be the first time PB is kidnapped by Patience and I wouldn't be surprised if the latter would try to pull another scheme involving the elementals. And given she already knows PB, she'd likely be her first target. I don't know if she'd still be in her pure elemental form as she cast herself in ice before LSP used her anti-elemental power, but that might be a reason to involve the new lumpy space elemental.

An interesting connection between Ooo 1000+ years in the future and the Vampireworld from Fiona & Cake

So for the longest time the bleak and desolate state of Ooo 1000 years in the future remained a mystery to everyone.

The 7th episode “The Star” revealed that the crown is capable of completely enshrouding the sky in a permanent blanket of clouds, which was the Vampire King’s main tactic in conquering the world. I believe that after merging with the crown, Gunter (The Ice Thing) began expanding his Ice Thingdom, turning it into a twisted hellish place. Consequently, weather patterns started to get affected too, and over the course of several centuries (decades?) The Ice Thing completely enshrouded Ooo in a thick layer of dark icy clouds. This would explain (at least partly) why everything looks so bleak and lifeless 1000 in the future. Because of the crown!

Find Everything (findeverythinggame.com btw. play it) is a 3D platformer collectathon where you collect Things that be, well, anything! From pears to characters to specks to a bit of a wall... Everything! Most of which are references, of course. And all found within very fun areas, including but not limited to Pawbean Park, Ballyhoo Bluffs, and Yummy-Yum Yard.

Anyway, assuming you're talking about the characters of Find Everything, there isn't much story and lore that is... not a secret. "Story" (though, probably more like a loose overarching narrative) is certainly being built with the Sky Needle and its quest line, with it establishing Mayor Majig as a major character. So here's Mayor Majig:

Mayor Majig is the, well, mayor of Yippee City, the major city in the Greater Thingdom (and also arguably has authority in Thingsburg). Elected through promising to keep Yippee City "cool", he's pretty laid-back and chill and keen on standing up against the rich folk. He's got a pupcar (That's a dog that is a car - Pui Pui Molcar-style) named Dolce who does a silly dance.

The Natural History Museum is weird because, in the ~17 years I can remember going there, it has remained basically the same.

Like, I went there a year or two ago, and the insect gallery still had all the cheesy dioramas, and the human gallery - which I somehow hadn't gone into before - feels like a weird late-'90s/early-2000s kids' show time-capsule.

The same is kinda true for the Science Museum, although they are modernising it. Last time I went, the incredibly-dated materials gallery was blocked off, so that might be different soon, and the medicine gallery was updated. Also Launchpad doesn't exist anymore (although that may be old news, since I have a feeling I was a lot younger when I found out), and presumably the same goes for the tie-in physics-puzzle game.

Ooh! Wait! Remember the Science Museum website? With all the games? God those were fun. I remember playing them in the school computer room when we were allowed to do whatever, and there was this weird one called Thingdom about breeding strange pillow-like creatures, and another one where you protected someone's brain from pain signals, and one of the methods was spider venom, which was apparently based on a thing.
