Do you know why our Blood becomes thick? Thick blood is caused by heavy proteins, or by too much blood in the circulation. Too many red cells, white cells, and platelets will result in blood thickening.

Empowering Patients with Low INR and Thick Blood: Resources and Support
Living with low INR (International Normalized Ratio) and thick blood can present significant challenges for patients, impacting their overall health and well-being. However, with the right resources and support, patients can effectively manage these conditions and lead fulfilling lives. Let's explore the empowering tools and strategies available to patients dealing with low INR and thick blood.
Understanding Low INR and Thick Blood
. Low INR ExplainedINR is a measure of how long it takes blood to clot. A low INR indicates that blood is clotting more quickly than desired, which can increase the risk of blood clots and related complications such as stroke or deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Patients with conditions like atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis, or those taking anticoagulant medications like warfarin need to monitor their INR levels closely.
. Thick Blood (Hypercoagulability) Thick or hypercoagulable blood refers to blood that is more prone to forming clots. This condition can be genetic or acquired and is often associated with increased risks of blood clots, strokes, and other cardiovascular events. Managing thick blood involves a combination of medication, lifestyle changes, and regular monitoring.
Empowering Patients with Resources and Support
. Home INR Testing Kits Patients can take charge of their health by using home INR testing kits. These kits allow patients to monitor their INR levels conveniently from home, reducing the need for frequent clinic visits. Companies like PatientSelfTesting offer reliable and user-friendly INR testing kits, empowering patients to stay on top of their health with ease.
. Educational ResourcesAccess to comprehensive educational resources is vital for patients managing low INR and thick blood. Online platforms, support groups, and healthcare websites provide valuable information on medication management, dietary considerations, symptom recognition, and lifestyle modifications to improve outcomes.
. Healthcare Provider CollaborationCollaborating closely with healthcare providers is crucial for patients with low INR and thick blood. Regular check-ups, medication adjustments, and personalized care plans based on INR monitoring results ensure optimal management of these conditions.
. Lifestyle Modifications Lifestyle plays a significant role in managing low INR and thick blood. Patients are encouraged to maintain a healthy diet rich in leafy greens (unless otherwise advised due to medication interactions), exercise regularly, stay hydrated, manage stress levels, and avoid smoking or excessive alcohol consumption.
Supporting Patients for Better Health
. Support Groups Joining support groups or online communities can provide patients with valuable emotional support, shared experiences, and practical tips for managing their conditions effectively. Connecting with others facing similar challenges can reduce feelings of isolation and empower patients to take control of their health.
. Continuous MonitoringRegular monitoring of INR levels and blood thickness is essential for detecting changes early and adjusting treatment plans accordingly. Home testing kits offer convenience and peace of mind, allowing patients to monitor their health status more frequently.
. Professional GuidancePatients should always seek professional guidance and follow the recommendations of their healthcare providers regarding medication adherence, dosage adjustments, and lifestyle modifications. Open communication and active participation in healthcare decisions contribute to better health outcomes.
Partnering for Health with PatientSelfTesting
In conclusion, empowering patients with low INR and thick blood involves a multifaceted approach encompassing education, self-monitoring, lifestyle modifications, and collaborative healthcare. By leveraging resources such as home INR testing kits, educational materials, support networks, and professional guidance, patients can effectively manage their conditions and improve their quality of life.
At PatientSelfTesting, we are committed to supporting patients on their health journeys. Our reliable home INR testing kits empower patients to monitor their INR levels conveniently and proactively. Together with personalized healthcare plans and ongoing support, we strive to empower patients with low INR and thick blood to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Partner with PatientSelfTesting for comprehensive resources and support tailored to your health needs.

I am a duskborn, pretending to be thickblood... I am scared
Don't stop the performance, never let your guard down til you are absolutely certain no one is looking. I assume you're in a place where you can't freely reveal what you are ... I know the feeling.
You are absolutely right to be scared. It's terrifying. But you've made it this far, haven't you? You've successfully fooled every one of em, what's another night? Our greatest strength is our ability to hide right in front of their faces. Don't sell yourself short on that.
Strangely, the safest time to be yourself is during the day. You'd be surprised how easy it is to stay up, even a short hour. And just have that time to know that you aren't performing. You can be you.
And don't forget youre not alone. We are everywhere and within reaching distance. You can stay on Anon, we will still be here.
And if you have the means to jump ship or gotta make a quick escape, we got you. Duskborn got each other's backs.

@ = How the character appears online
Beatrice has always been the kind of person that enjoys observing drama rather than being part of it, so her socials are pretty low key typicial white girl instagram but make it goth. This is also to keep her safe from hunters, her social media footprint is nothing you'd look twice at.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However her main source of income is her online sex work, so she puts far more effort into uploading to and promoting her Onlyfans. Her style is playful, relaxed, and will often stream videogames nude or in lingerie as part of her channel.
(≧∇≦) = What makes the character happy
She is happiest when she feels safe to be herself. She has always been a strange and solitary creature, but that doesn't mean she doesn't feel loneliness. After she had to flee thinblood persecution she felt completely isolated, and it was only when she met other thinbloods that were open and proud that she found herself genuinely smiling again. Spending time with BJ brings her joy because there is no need for pretense, she is free to be her weird little self.
。゚(TヮT)゚。 = What makes the character laugh
Chaos, carnage, and dash discourse. Beatrice doesn't really do drama, or moral arguments, or politics, but she loves when it breaks out on dash. Sometimes she'll stir the pot by throwing out some batshit takes to see the reaction. She finds genuine joy in watching the thickbloods ripping into one another.

The third eye is the mark of a soulsucker. You are bound to be bloodhunted. Lose your soul and body. That is what your domitor and sire has wrought for you.
They can hear the sweet vitae in your veins little one. So rare to have such a young thickblood. Oh we'll be so happy to meet you.
Make sure you're nice and bloated.
Maybe turn you into a wight.

Each day I consume 48oz of fresh organic cucumber 🥒 juice to help me get in front of my chronic dehydration. Of course, I also drink fresh organic celery juice each morning, along with lemon/lime water and coconut water. Having a permanent ileostomy can be a challenge, especially when it comes to hydration. Cucumbers and Medical Medium information continue to be a true blessing. 💚 Do you juice regularly? #cucumberjuice #brandfearless #medicalmedium #ostomy #ileostomy #crohns #medicalmediumbooks #chronicdehydration #thickblood #alopecia #brainlesions #hairloss #lymewarrior #viralimmune #neuralgia #spiralup #healingdance #medicalmediumcommunity #veganlife #glutenfree #medicalmediumprotocol (at Massachusetts) https://www.instagram.com/p/CovBuYWO4Lo/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

//This opinion comes from the fact that I routinely play at tables with Thickbloods and that Tommy was a Hound in a Camarilla controlled city that kills Thinbloods on sight. In order to keep pace, Tommy had to use every inch of themself. If you're playing a Chronicle where you're more likely to have your whole party up against like a single Kindred, then you can do a lot of different things. But Tommy's way of playing absolutely relies on their tenacity and perseverance and their willingness to leave nothing on the table at the end of the night.
//Most important stat to maximize as a thinblood: Willpower. Because you *need* those dice rerolls and when you reach high hunger you need to resist frenzy
I play every active encounter with Tommy like it's her last. Burn through everything. Last game we did where Tommy, Hazel, Antonia and Beetlejuice broke into a Cainite warpack's haven, Tommy was Hunger 5 by the end of it.
Full bloods can afford to hold back, Thinbloods cannot
Tommy has 7 willpower. 4 Resolve 3 Composure. And believe me that was necessary
