Is there a popular pairing you don’t necessarily dislike but aren’t too invested in?

I have answered this question before and my answer of Scallison still stands

Is there a piece of clothing you think (character) is particularly fond of/that you imagine them wearing a lot or like to draw them in?

Theo and his leather jacket for sure. And his hoodies. But also love the idea of Theo wearing Liam’s jersey, for obvious reasons.

And I also like the idea of Liam favouring that burgundy/maroon long sleeved button front henley because it used to be Scott’s.

Is there a character or ship you were so sure you would never write/draw but now you’ve changed your mind?

I pretty much went into writing fan fics with Thiam my tunnel vision (they still kinda are) but I would say I’ve become more fond of rare pairs and poly ships now. Like while I always see Thiam as my OTP, I am open to exploring them with other characters (Sceo, Liolan, etc). I’d also say Josh as a character has grown on me too.

Give us a headcanon for… Liam

So in 6x16 - Liam asks Theo to help him with his plan at the Zoo and they manage to get all those supplies to make it look like the pack is living there. But Liam also planned to give that stuff to Theo after, having worked out he’s homeless, hoping to find a better solution once the war is over.

But right now, he’s here. Sitting barely three feet from Liam, infuriatingly and effortlessly attractive, the moonlight casting his features into sharp relief, accentuating the slope of his cheekbones and the contour of his jaw, the curve of his lips and the long line of his throat, and Liam can remember the taste of Theo’s sweat on his tongue, can remember sinking his teeth into his flesh until he could taste blood, and Liam thinks he might actually die if he he doesn’t get his hands on Theo right now.

Nolan is just trying to make it day to day in a town that feels like it despises his very existence. And Theo... Theo is trying to make it to the next day.

Whisked Away Too (Thiam, Teen) - This fic is inspired by the anime 'A Whisker Away'. Liam wants to spend more time with Theo, unfortunately there seems to be only one way he can do that.

Saved Again (Theo/Nolan, Teen) - Theo had saved Nolan once before in the Hill Valley Zoo, but this isn't the story of the first time Theo saved Nolan. This is the story about the second time Theo saved Nolan.

Some Will Be Nightmares (Steo, Teen) - Stiles woke up in a cold sweat, his sheets were damp and clinging to his clammy skin. He'd had his first dream. Not his dream, but someone else's. The way people talked about it like it was supposed to be some magical experience was a downright lie. No one ever told him that it could be a nightmare. That it could harness some of the darkest and scariest emotions he'd ever experienced.

ok i tried to make this one a little angstier but i just couldn’t hafglkdjf hope that’s ok!! i’m too soft (and still a little wounded from the last thiam i wrote)

and the “jump” in this fic is more like a we-might-die-tomorrow kind of metaphorical jump? if that makes sense haha. this takes place in 6b, right before things go down at the zoo.

“Try it,” Theo says, holding out a metal flask like it isn’t suspicious at all.

But Liam takes it, because he doesn’t back down from anything, least of all Theo’s goading. He sniffs curiously at the opening and chokes, clapping a hand over his nose.

Theo laughs. Asshole.

“What is that?” Liam asks, horrified.

“Just drink it.”

“It smells like poison.”

Theo hesitates, then shrugs. Liam gapes.

“Theo, is this poison?!”

“There might be wolfsbane in it—”

“What?!”

“—but it’s only a little. Just enough to spike it. The beer’s not gonna do anything, otherwise.”

“Beer and wolfsbane? Theo!”

“What?” Theo turns defensive. “Look, if we might die tomorrow, I want a drink.”

“I can’t believe you,” Liam mutters, shoving the flask back at him.

Theo smirks, then takes a swig. His face twists hilariously and Liam wants to laugh, except he keeps thinking about Theo saying we might die tomorrow and the anxious pit in his stomach worsens to the point where he can’t think of anything else.

Night has fallen over the zoo. Theo and Liam have settled themselves in the back of Theo’s truck, parked beneath the overhanging branches of a tree just outside the zoo gates. They just finished arranging all the sleeping bags and supplies to make it look like the whole pack’s been staying here. It was a job left for Theo and Liam to do alone as it was Liam’s idea to begin with—Scott seemed confident when Liam explained it to him, and his confidence bolstered Liam’s confidence.

But now that Scott’s elsewhere, laying down the groundwork for the rest of their plan, Liam’s certainty begins to crumble away. And Theo’s cynicism isn’t helping.

Theo glances sideways at him and sighs. “I can see you overthinking.”

“M’not,” Liam grumbles, curling deeper into the blanket he’s wrapped around himself.

“I’m not gonna say it’s not a risk,” Theo says. He’s lying back with a duffel bag for a pillow, hood pulled up over his head. It’s weirdly the most comfortable Liam’s ever seen him. “But it’s our trap. We’re ready.”

Liam doesn’t really know how to respond to that. It’s hard knowing what to say to Theo, a lot of the time. They’ve never really had a proper conversation, just arguments, harsh words in harsh circumstances.

Being together like this, even if it’s on the eve of maybe-death, feels like the closest thing to really talking to one another… ever.

Liam blurts, “It’s weird to hear you say something optimistic.”

Theo elbows him none too lightly in the side. Liam curses and shoves him back. Funnily enough, it makes Liam feel a little better.

Theo takes another drink, and he grimaces again, and this time Liam does laugh. Theo pauses and stares at Liam for a second too long. Then he’s turning away so quickly Liam wonders if he imagined it.

Theo’s voice is a murmur, like he’s unsure whether he’s speaking to Liam, himself, or the night air around them.

He says, “Things work out better when you’re around.”

Liam stares. Theo looks steadfastly away from him, gazing out at the darkened zoo instead.

Liam reaches out for the flask and plucks it from Theo’s hand. Theo frowns and says, “Hey—” but Liam’s already taking a drink.

He sputters and spits out half of it over the side of the truck.

It’s worth it to hear Theo’s laugh.

A Thiam fic: Liam Dunbar has had enough of being out of control. So he decides to shut his wolf off for awhile... the only problem is it could end up getting him killed. Theo Raeken had never been good with feelings. But he can't fathom the idea of losing the little beta. So he makes it his personal mission to help Liam find his way back to the supernatural. Lines will be crossed and there may be no coming back from it.

Chapter 1: We’ve Got A Problem

Theo wedged himself in Liam’s closet and shook his head at himself. He didn’t owe anyone anything anymore, and yet when Scott called asking him for a favor he found he couldn’t say no. He probably would have said no if topic of said favor hadn’t involved a certain beta. The certain beta that he was strangely drawn to and the beta whose recklessness kept getting him trouble. Scott explained that Liam had been suppressing his wolf in order to stay in control, that he was scared that he would hurt someone again, but in reality he was doing more harm than good. Not only was his wolf fighting to be a part of him, taking a huge physical toll on the human part of him, but it had also made Liam vulnerable. He wasn’t using his senses and with hunters on the prowl that could get him killed; something that neither Scott or Theo wanted. From everything he had seen, Liam was a very strong wolf. Angry and impulsive, but strong. Therefore Theo was having a hard time believing Scott’s claims. So here he was, standing in the little wolf’s messy closet waiting for him to get home so Theo could see just how in danger the blue-eyed beta actually was.

A few minutes later Theo heard the front door open and someone came bounding up the stairs. Liam’s door flew open and then it was shut just as quickly before Liam flopped down on his bed face first. His scent hit Theo’s nose making him scrunch it up. He reeked of sweat, a hint of exhaustion, and frustration. He waited, waited for the beta to realize he wasn’t alone. He should have felt it, he should have caught Theo’s scent the minute he got to his room, should have heard his heartbeat furiously pumping away in anticipation. When Liam continued to lay there Theo started to see what Scott was saying. It wasn’t until an hour later, an hour of him standing in a cramped closet, that he realized just how bad the situation was.

Liam had laid on his bed for twenty minutes on scrolling on his phone before he finally got up and sauntered towards his bathroom to shower. Not once had he given any indication that he knew Theo was there. When he came out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel ready to strip Theo’s breathing had increased and Liam STILL didn’t notice him. He couldn’t take it anymore. Right before Liam pulled the towel off Theo burst out of the closet. “Jesus Christ Liam!” He yelled in frustration.

Liam jumped back with a small yelp running into his dresser making the towel slide dangerously low on his hips, distracting Theo for a second before Liam angrily stalked towards him. Liam shoved him hard and spat out “What the fuck!” Theo righted himself just as the white cloth covering Liam fell to floor from all the aggressive movements. He closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose but not before he accidentally looked Liam up and down.

“Put some clothes on.” He said in disgust, mostly at himself but Liam didn’t have to know that. He ran his hands through his hair roughly trying to get a grip on himself. He had gotten so used to being around the beta in earlier months during the war, that Liam’s presence hadn’t affected him as much then. But after the hospital he had been busy tracking stragglers down and he forgot the indescribable pull he felt towards Liam. Until now.

He heard Liam growl low, “This is my room, don’t tell me what to do.” But he listened as Liam moved around the room pulling on different articles of clothing. “Especially when you just scared me half to death by jumping out of MY closet.”

Theo chanced opening his eyes to find a shirtless Liam standing in front of him with his arms crossed over his chest in solid annoyance. “What are you doing here?” Liam questioned, narrowing his eyes at him. Theo noticed how dull his normally vibrant eyes looked and remembered he wasn’t there to ogle the the younger wolf standing across from him. Channeling his own annoyance, that he felt towards himself for getting so distracted, he turned it into anger and used it.

“That’s not important right now.” He clipped out. “What is important is how you didn’t notice that I was here for an hour Liam. A FUCKING HOUR. You didn’t smell me or hear me and I wasn’t even trying to hide it! What if I had been a hunter?” He finished harshly.

He watched as Liam clenched his jaw and could hear the sound of teeth grinding against each other. “Don’t worry about it.” Liam pinched out. “I’m fine.” He said and at that Theo snorted with zero humor.

“Oh yeah, you’ll be fine until you aren’t. Fine until you walk in to your room some day and miss the hunter behind the door with loaded gun pointed at your head.” He shook his head at the boy in front of him. “Is that what you want… Do you want to die?” How could he be so selfish?

Liam scoffed. “Of course I don’t want to die what kind of question is that!?” Theo could start to smell Liam’s anger but it was nothing compared to what it used it be. Bringing back the memories of them at the zoo and in the elevators. Theo shook his head again trying to focus, it had just been so long.

“Where’s your wolf, why couldn’t you sense me?” Theo already knew the answer, he heard it from Scott, but he needed to hear it from Liam. He needed to know why Liam was so keen on possibly getting himself killed so he kept pushing. “Liam?”

Liam looked away from him for the first time dropping his aggressive stance for one with less bravado. “Why do you care?” Liam mumbled still not meeting his eyes. Theo felt some of his anger resolve at the sight of the defeated beta.

“Because. Now please answer me. Where’s your wolf?” Theo spoke softer this time, hoping it would break through to Liam.

Liam sighed deeply. “I can’t hurt anyone again…” He trailed off looking lost for a second, “so I kinda locked him away.” The scent of guilt hit Theo hard and he almost gagged.

“Liam your wolf is a part of you, you can’t just shut him out. It will start to affect the human side of you... and guessing by how tired you look it has already started.” Theo swallowed the thick salvia in his mouth still trying to get passed strong aroma of Liam’s guilt.

“I can’t let him out…” Liam said while he rubbed the back of his neck, “it’s been too long now. I know if I let him push to the surface I won’t be able to control him.”  The overwhelming urge to pull Liam in to his arms and hug him hit Theo hard. He couldn’t stay any longer, he had already pushed himself too far for one day. He took in a deep breath catching the last of Liam’s crisp scent.

On his exhale he caught Liam’s eyes. “We’ll fix this.” He promised before he saw a small light of hope bloom in Liam’s too dull eyes. Why did he have to look at Theo like that, like Theo was a lighthouse in the middle of a storm. He wasn’t. He was to blame for Liam almost killing his alpha… actually he was to blame for most of Liam’s guilt. He had to fix this. He nodded at Liam and then silently walked out of the room.

He called Scott once he got back to his truck that he had parked down the street. On the second ring the alpha answered. “You’re right, we have a huge problem.” Theo said with slamming his head against the wheel.

The exhaustion goes bone deep. Skin feeling akin to something like a livewire, feeling the clothes clinging to his skin with every step he takes. Theo has, objectively, made a lot of stupid choices in his life. Throw a dart, you'll hit one.

This, though, this might actually take the cake on the list of Dumbest fucking things Theo Raeken has ever done. Which is no small feat, all things considered.

It takes all of three seconds after Theo tells Nolan to run, watching him stumble across the dirt and broken tree limbs before his eyes slide over to the unconscious beta on the ground and it finally registers in his brain what he just did. He just managed to effectively ruin any chance of getting out of this fucking zoo and away from these hunters at a quick pace, all because he was saving Liam's stupid ass, again.

He’s not sure when it started; when this pull between he and Liam became a thing. If he had to pinpoint the exact moment, and he’s just spitballing here, it might have to be when he was pulled from hell.

When he starts crawling his way up through the earth, hands grasping for purchase on the dirt surrounding him, he thinks it’s a more fucked up version of the nightmare he’s been living in for the last few months. Years? It feels like a lifetime. Endless loops of having his sister's heart ripped out of his chest, over and over and over again. It’s hard to remember.

The question comes so far out of left field that it manages to render Theo speechless, spoonful of melting ice cream lifted halfway to his open mouth as he stares at the beta across from him with some mix between shock and confusion.

Liam takes his reaction in stride, continuing to eat his own ice cream, completely unbothered by the fact that he just managed to hit some kind of pause button inside of Theo’s brain. Theo thinks if it were any other situation the beta might have even made a joke about it, but the question wasn’t laced with any humor, just pure curiosity.

In hindsight, Liam probably should have seen how this was not going to go his way. Call him an optimist. He had maybe, dumbly, hoped that Theo would pull his head out of his ass long enough to appreciate the fact that he was valued and not, I don't know, wanted dead in the middle of the preserve? It was wishful thinking on Liam’s part.

Theo’s never been able to put it into words, this weight that sits so heavily on his chest that sometimes he gets sharp pains that shoot through his veins. He thinks it might be some kind of punishment, though he’s not sure which sin caused this, which sin keeps him in constant torment. It’s a long list, some days it seems like it’s one that’s never going to end.

Theo hums from his place on the tailgate, legs swinging slowly back and forth, his eyes trained on something in the distance, not fully there.

Liam's feet stay planted where they are, eyes trained on the way Theo's hands have tightened their hold on the metal surface of the tailgate at the sound of Liam's voice. He tries not to think too hard on it, knows it probably has nothing to do with him and everything to do with the fact that Theo has been avoiding him and life itself for the last three weeks.

All About Control | Thiam

There’s been a shadow following Theo around since he was Nine years old, a dark and looming thing that sits in his peripheral vision, a constant and threatening reminder of where he came from. Of what he can be brought back to. Some days it looks a lot like the Dread Doctors, more specifically the Surgeon. The shadow will shift and morph into a figure that resembles something from his worst memories, the ones he wishes were ripped out of him the way everything else was. Other days it morphs into something smaller, something dripping with icy ravine water, the smell of dirt and mud coming with it.

It could end in burning flames or paradise | Thiam

Theo is alive.

At least, most days he’s pretty sure he is. He feels the blood flowing under his skin, feels the stolen heart thudding against his ribs, feels the way his pulse jumps when Liam speaks in the tone he seems to solely reserve for him and him only.

She balances funny, fluffy stories with heart-wrenching angst, expertly weaving heartfelt emotion into every word. She’s hands down the best commenter in the fandom, and we’ll fight anyone who says otherwise!

What cames across most though is how seriously gone on each other these two boys are. A beautiful and hilarious fic!

Let's Go Crazy [ General // 5K // Complete]

Theo loves figure skating, he has a favorite skater and the olympics are here. It's an emotional time full of joy and stress over the performance. Luckily he has a boyfriend ready to support him.

The author’s love of figure skating definitely comes across in this story. The way she describes every elegant move on the ice will draw you in as you experience the same wonder through Theo’s eyes. The way that Liam supports his partner’s interest is absolutely adorable and is sure to melt more than a few hearts. We strongly recommend this fic if you’re obsessed with figure skating as well, or if you just love pure, sweet, fluffy goodness.

Be Careful What You Wish For [ Mature // 55K // WIP ]

Back before he was sent to the ground all Theo ever wished for was power, to be an alpha, to have a pack. Now he knows better, knows that power isn’t as easy as it seems. All he wants now is to try and stay alive, try to be good enough to one day be part of the pack and protect the beta with anger issue. During a fight with an alpha gone feral Theo is given power he doesn’t want anymore. Now he has to learn to live with what he had wished for so long ago.

We all wondered what it would be like if Theo has actually taken the power of an alpha in season 5. Now we can finally have the answers, but with the redeemed Theo instead! Take a stroll through this story about coming to terms with the things you want while trying to hold onto your former life and falling in love at the same time. You’ll laugh a little, definitely cry a little, and call Thiam idiots about a million times.

Underneath the Mistletoe  [ Teen // 7K // Complete ]

Mason and Corey have enough of seeing their friends hopelessly pine after each other and decide to do something about it. Luckily it’s the holiday season and what better way to get two people to admit their feelings than a mistletoe kiss? Or the fives times Mason and Corey tried to make Theo and Liam kiss under the mistletoe and the one time they succeed.

The greatest thing about this fic is that it’s told from Morey’s point of view! It’s so cool to see such a fresh idea and to have a healthy heap of our favorite canon gays! We love seeing Theo and Liam from an outsider’s perspective, especially those of their closest friends, and ultimately this fic has you feeling like you’re part of the story and in one Morey’s schemes. We love it!

Kiss The Bartender [ Teen // 3K // Complete ]

Theo has a job as a bartender in a shot bar where some shots are linked to dares. Liam makes him sneak him Corey and Mason in. Dares happens and maybe one could finally lead to Liam and Theo admitting their feelings.

Truth or dare fic? Yes please!! This is so great and just fun because the dates range all over the place and you get a few great chuckles from it. It’s a fantastic way for Liam and Theo to connect and FINALLY get their first kiss. It’s a good time all around and we ship it hard!
