My personal Ride the Hopes Peak (trigger happy havoc) casting
Karnak: Junko, duh
Virgil: Monokuma
What the World Needs: Celestia Ludenberg
-Song about how much better she is than everyone else
-She wouldn't sing anything so upbeat IF she could be convinced to sing at all but I could also see her being a choir kid
Noel's Lament: Byakuya Togami
-I feel like the obvious choice is Chihiro but I could see this a little modified about his drag as Polaris
-Wanting to be someone you're not but feeling forced into a mold based on where you are??? Oh yeah Byakuya
-Incredibly repressed gay
-Also he kisses Yasuhiro in the song bc we have two characters as Mischa stand-ins
This Song is Awesome: Yasuhiro Hagakure
-Duh
Talia: Sakura Ogami
-Modified to be about her boyfriend instead of girlfriend
-Maybe a teensy bit of comphet
-Slavic Sakura realness
Space Age Bachelor Man: Chihiro Fujisaki
-Bold casting I know
-I'm a firm believer in transmasc Chihiro
-Song about how you've been talked over your whole life and how even though that's happened you're okay with your life
The Ballad of Jane Doe: Mukuro Ikusaba
-Song about not being yourself because you don't remember what your life was like
-Her John Doe is Junko
Sugar Cloud: Makoto Naegi
-He gets an upbeat number that everyone actually enjoys
-He resented having an ordinary boring life compared to the other Ultimates until he died
THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS? ILL DO SDR2 NEXT HEHE
I haven't seen the show, so I'll take y'alls word for it.

No one wants an Impromptu Haircut
---
I'll never not be enamoured by Taka's absolutely DERANGED concept of respectability.
Being his friend would not grant immunity - if anything else; he'd be so an outright MENACE
One day Mondo is going to wake up with a buzzcut and he'll have to wrestle with the very real possibility that he'll be responsible for the death of another brother.
(inspired by Terror of the ScissorMan by Tsubamemaru Watarizora from Danganronpa Anthology Vol 2 - translation can be found here)

Kazuichi Souda being the world’s most girlfailure transfem is something I love soooo much lately. This thang will not crack her egg until 1 am on a Thursday when she’s 27 after saying shit like “man I wish I was a girl” and not elaborating for years and then go to Hajime about it (waking him up in the process) only for him to be like “wait you’re just now realizing this”

Junko doesn't get an afterlife. She just sits alone in the endless void for all eternity.
She's haunting the narrative. And Makoto.
