i think ratchet/medics in general would have like. really ticklish palms! they're medics, they have highly sensitive hands that probably also have a bunch of sensors/sensory receptacles to aid in diagnosing. in my heart this is tfp and optimus knows exactly what he's doing even as he gently taps just two fingers over ratchet's palm and ratchet is Quivering and fighting his own laugh. it's absolutely awful one time because raf is just- tracing the cables and ridges on ratchet's palm and he's asking genuine scientific questions about some things and then you have ratchet who's physically restraining himself so he doesn't swat raf away and/or bust up laughing.

ofc double sided sword! the sensitivity means that, even if the bot tries to hide their reaction (hello Optimus), he can feel them twitching at a particularly bad spot through his palms! he can find the best/worst spots on any mech just by running his palms over the spot and feeling the physical reaction the mech has! with great sensitivity and ticklishness comes great ler ability to wreck any mech who needs it - 🥝
