The minute you walked into the Lair, they knew something was up.

You were still wearing your jacket for one,

You always, always took it off before you got home,

No matter how cold outside it was.

The second thing was your expression.

You just looked so...

Defeated.

Leo and Raph were the first to notice,

They shared a look with eachother, they both knew something had happened,

But figuring that out was the easy part,

Gettting you to talk wasn't going to be a cake walk...

"(Name)'s home!" Mikey shouted, jumping up from his spot on the couch, rushing to give you a hug.

The hug that you dodged with a weak smile.

The hug you had looked forward to getting everyday since you were 6.

That's when Mikey knew something wasn't right.

"How was school?" Donnie asked as he walked in, patting your shoulder as he passed.

You winced when his hand came in contact with your skin, laughing nervously.

Now Donnie knew too.

And you knew they knew.

"It was fine." you mumbled, before starting towards your room.

"Where ya' goin', Shorty?"

You sighed lowly, "To do homework."

"You just got home," Leo said, "Why don't you come watch TV with us for a little bit."

You shook your head, your breathing becoming uneven when you felt the tears prick your eyes, "Nope! I'm fine! You know how History is." You laughed nervously, reaching your room and closing the door as quickly as possible.

You tossed your backpack on your bed, shedding off your jacket, wincing.

You went to run your hand over the bruises that ran along your bare arms, pulling away quickly when the touch caused you to whimper.

The tears fell slowly, rolling down your cheeks almost taunting you.

'Some ninja.'

It was back.

That little voice that you hadn't heard in so long.

The one you had tried so damn hard to get rid of.

You slid down to the floor with your back against the door, head between your knees while you tried your hardest not to cry.

A soft knock sounded from behind you, and you held your breath, "(Name)..?" the worried voice of Mikey came from the otherside.

"Uh- Yeah?" you put some false chipper in your voice.

"You ok?"

"Peachy keen, Michel!"

You heard Raph grunt on the otherside of the door, "Dammit (Name), we're not stupid. We know you're lyin'."

You felt a sob build up in the back of your throat, you tried to respond but it felt like something was holding your voice hostage.

"Please just let us in." Donnie begged, and that did it.

You stood up slowly, doing your best to calm yourself.

Your eyes never left your feet as you opened that door,

You felt ashamed.

When you heard nothing from your brothers, you looked up to face them, and you felt the tears begin to fall again.

They weren't dissapointed in you,

They were upset.

They were angry.

For you.

You sniffled quietly and instantly Mikey pulled you in for a hug,

The second his arms wrapped around you the silent tears turned into to full on sobs.

And Mikey held you.

Just like he had when you were younger.

Mikey was doing his best to calm you out of your tears.

Just like he had in that alley oh so long ago.

You felt like you were just a toddler again,

Helpless and scared.

You were shaking, but despite the gut wrenching sobs you let out, an overwhelming sense of relief washed through your body.

You didn't have to keep the secret anymore.

Eventually your crying had reduced itself to sniffles, and you pulled away from Mikey, wiping your eyes while Donnie gently took your arms to examine the bruises.

"Who did it." Leo asked you lowly,

You looked down once again, the shame of being bullied filling you once again, "This clique of jerks. Ya know, the 'popular kids'. They've been picking on me since, like, 2nd grade for not having my bio parents around."

"How the hell do they even know that?" Raph growled out.

You shrugged, wincing when Donnie pressed on one of your bruises, "Some of their parents works in the office, so they knows April isn't my real mom."

Leo sighed, "Is this the first time the bullying has been physical?"

You nodded, "I told 'em to fuck off. They... didn't like that and jumped me after school."

"Have you tried getting staff involved?" Donnie question,

"Yup, but like I said, some of their parents work in the office, so they never get in trouble. I'm just told to stop lying trying to cause drama."

Leo hummed, and you looked up from the floor, "I'm sorry." you said, sniffling, tears welling up once again.

"What?"

"I'm sorry... I tried to stand up for myself, but I'm just not s-strong like you guys.."

Leo shook his head and pulled you in for a hug, "Don't you dare say you're sorry, (Name), because you have nothing you should be sorry for. We'll deal with those kids, just meet us in the nearest alley after school, ok?"

You nodded, "Can we watch Smurfs?"

Raph chuckled and patted you on the head when Leo pulled away, "Sure thing, Shorty."

The next day at school, you were nervous.

Leo hadn't told you his plan, just to meet them in the nearest alley to the school.

The bell rung, and you rushed out of the classroom, you reached your locker quickly and emptied it for the day.

After that, you rushed out the front door as fast as you could.

You were almost off school property when they caught up to you.

"Going somewhere, bitch?"

You looked behind you, seeing Brad and his possy of prep kids glaring snarkily at you.

"Fuck off, Brad." you said, continuing towards that alley.

You felt someone yank on the back of your hoodie, and you whipped around and socked the guy who held it in the face.

After that you took off running, with Brad shouting behind you, "Get back here you fucking bitch!"

You ran breathless into the alley, debating pulling up the manhole cover and escaping, but then the clique walked into the alley way.

Brad grabbed the front of your shirt, lifting you up slightly, "Who the fuck do you think you are, huh, fucker?"

"Our baby sibling."

Brad dropped you and began to frantically search the alley for whomever had spoke.

You felt a hand on you shoulder and turned to see a very angry Raphael.

"The baby sibling you just put your hands on."

One of the girls spotted your brothers, gasped quietly, and then promptly fainted.

You let out a pft-

Before backing up to stand next to Donnie, who wrapped his arm around your shoulder while glaring at the kids.

The prep kids looked just about ready to either faint, or book it out of the alley, but just as they began to run, Leo popped out of nowhere and wrapped his arm tightly around Brad's shoulder.

"Hey, you must be Brad. So a little birdy told me that you've been causing some issues for sweet old (Name) here. For your information, we're their big brothers, and we don't take too kindly to people picking on family."

He shoved Brad forward, with Brad in the other kids looking around in terror.

Raph spoke up, twirling one of his sais around menacingly, "You got one option here, so pay attention. I'm gonna give you all 10 seconds to get down on your knees and beg (Name) for the forgivness you don't deserve, or I'll show ya' what it's like to get beat up by someone bigger than ya', got it punk?"

Brad and his possy immediatly dropped to their knees infront of you, and it took everything in your power to not laugh out loud as they all frantically begged you for mercy and forgiveness and they were so sorry, etc. etc.

"Shut up you blubbering idiots." you said, they immediatly stopped talking, and you turned to face Leo "I wanna go home, do we still have poptarts?"

Leo nodded, and Raph picked Brad up off the ground, "You leave (Name) alone from now on."

Mikey nodded poking him in the side, "Yeah, you don't talk to them, you don't look at them, don't even breath in their direction, got it?"

Brad nodded frantically, and Raph dropped him, and Leo sent him one last glare "Don't say a word of what happened here to anyone, got it? We'll know, and we will find you. Now go."

Without another word, the clique left, scampering down the sidewalk like some terrified rabbits.

"Now let's get you that poptart, Shorty."

Im going to try to send you asks daily again because I dont want our friendship to fall apart. I know youre not the type of person that drops people off if they dont talk to you, but still.

I am 19 now apparently! My birthday was likeee... 5 days ago??? It was cool. Di came over and we watched videos, cuddled and ate cake.

Crazy how everyone from 2005 turns 20 next year. I think we're all not trying to think about it while simultaneously shitting our pants over the thought. But hey, time goes on and so do we.

We took our chickens to the vet to see if they were alright because one of them shat out worms. Theyre getting dewormed and I probably should get dewormed too because my abdomen hurts more than usual.

Found out that I technically need to get a biopsy done to get diagnosed with endometriosis. Like, an endoscopy and then if they find something they do a biopsy. Its so insane. Di got a little scared at first because yknow, usually people think biopsy=cancer but nah, they just need a sample of whatever they find to test its origin or stuff like that.

You're back! And you had a nice birthday, chickens apparently, and you're getting love and medical attention! I was hoping that you're too busy having good things happen, instead of too busy because bad things are happening, and I'm so glad you're doing good!

someone made a post making the point that like fionna and cake as characters seem very. annoying right now. very very ambivalent to every problem theyre faced with and generally uncaring. i did want to make a post saying something like fionna and cakes enthusiasm towards simon becoming the ice king again is very disturbing and its extremely clear to me that that is on purpose. like its just blatant lol and its a very interesting way to take all of this and these characters, however as far as im aware there are only going to be 10 episodes maximum, and we just had the 6th so we're over halfway done, and fionna and cake are still in a very unfortunately unlikeable spot. of course the whole 'adventure' really just started, you cant criticize it too much for that, but it is a little frightening for the future. theyre finn and jake, fionna and cake, and of course you have to take into consideration simons loss of magic affecting the character mentally and changing them for the worse, but still its very strange i guess

Well... its obvs been a while since i updated huh. reading back on some of those .. some of its nice ig and some of it is quite articulate but looking back on some of it with my perspective now, idk its sad but also a little cringe lol. but thats the point of a diary to keep it cringe and truthful to how im feeling in the moment. well anyway

its 2023 woooo im in my second year of uni and things are pretty okay i guess. im still a litlte lonely dont get me wrong but im sure things will get better. um. ive got an essay due at midnight on the 16th (technically today) and im like a third through it? but the first 1/3 is the easiest part cos its just explaining the concepts. anyway im behind on a lot of uni work. for no reason. at all. like theres no good reason behind it other than i need medicated i guess. maybe i really should get meds im an adult now so im hoping they can. its genuinely really affecting my uni performance i cant get out of bed most days during the winter cos its so so cold. why is the world so so cold. my feet are also so so cold. can you tell im procrastinating :P unis still lonely but also i barely go anyway so what would i know anyway. i got some hobbies i guess. anime has revived my want for a tumblr blog so in november i made a new blog for anime ToT. its fun tho i really do enjoy it its so fun and silly and i can be as insane as i want to over fictional characters. better than twitter by a mile cos well yeah. it has also reignited my want to make art, cos then i can post it and other people who are also insane about the same characters can enjoy it too. even if its kinda bad idgaf. the whole 'oh shit two cakes' meme constantly runs through my head.

ahh anyway i also like playing video games too, or ig the difference is i have the money to buy them and a decent laptop to run them on. so that helps fill the void of community im missing. i really miss people. and im a huge introvert for the most part (unless im drunk but shhhh) but i miss not being in my room 24/7. i guess the theme of this update is i need meds ToT. not that it will necessarily be a perfect solution sometimes theyre not but ig it doesnt hurt to talk to a doctor about it. that depends on if i can actually get an appt ahhhhh. i dont have too much to talk about ig just that im alive and barely staying afloat but not actively suicidal so *thumbs up*. i really do need to write this essay i would dislike to get an extension because then i would just put it off again until next week lol. im such a good procrastinator :D this definitely isnt detrimental to my non-existent work ethic.

maybe i can talk about something thats itching at me from my philosophy course. my essay isnt exactly on this topic but i rlly wanna formulate some thoughts on it lol.

so we're talking about what exists in the world right? things people would easily say exist are things like tables, chairs, frogs, dogs, atoms and molecules. things that are a little harder to figure out if they exist are things like love, morality, goodness, numbers, gender. the lists are not exhaustive but that kind of thing. and there's this concept of Ordinary Objects(OO) and Extraordinary Objects(EO). the first list has almost all OO, which are defined as being highly visible objects right before our eyes (that do not escape our notice). the atoms and molecules make things tricky in philosophy as nothing can ever, ever, be simple in this subject. anyway. EO are objects that are also highly visible objects that do escape our notice. you're thinking how can an object, a physical object, that is so obviously in front of us, escape our notice??? well you're not alone in thinking philosophy just makes up things along with justifications of said things just for shits and giggles, and calls it a day, cos that's exactly what i thought when i heard this the first time. and genuinely so much of philosophy is just postulating and theorising about this thing and that thing but its done with such earnestness and sincerity that i get endeared by these stupid dead guys. ANYWAY. the existence of EO are obviously controversial (of course) and even OO are argued too. but yes what are EO exactly? the example given in the reading was a Trog - an object that is composed of a dog and a tree trunk. no, they are not connected in any way, and no they don't even have to be near each other but they can compose this object called a Trog. this is what you can call an EO. it is highly visible (assuming the dog isn't microscopic and the tree is not invisible) and it is right before our eyes yet we never notice it. well of course, who would? but the question is do EO really exist or is it a baseless theory. well...

GT: I really thought we would have been treated to more action, what being legendary players of a mysterious cosmic game. But no, it seems the primary duty of the so called nobles is to wait around twiddling our thumbs.

GT: I am really beginning to wonder when these fabled heroes will arrive? And are they really going to be those we have been led to believe?

GT: I sure hope so. Id so love to meet my pen pal. Dear old departed grandma. But as a feisty youngster! What a hoot thatll be. And you with your poppop. Lets not forget about him.

GT: Not to mention the young strider and lalonde relatives. I bet theyre a barrel of laughs. I met them once but i was too shy to say anything. Then i got in a fight. Did i ever mention that jane?

GT: Not to say its been all downtime and doldrums. Exploring has been great. Finding treasure, solving riddles, becoming better friends. I wouldnt trade that for anything.

GT: And maybe we are getting close to something big happening regardless? Every day it seems like more and more undead creatures crawl from out of the shadows. Bigger ones and stronger ones. Does their presence herald something worse coming, just as the legends indicate our presence heralds something better?

GT: I just wish we could actually kill the fucking things. Even the little ones can absorb so much damage before yielding any spoils!

GT: But i guess the silver lining was it forced us to explore ruins more often and scavenge for loot there. So i think weve learned a lot more this way.

GT: But it sure makes resources hard to come by, having to get them exclusively from chests and whatnot. Sometimes i wonder if weve been missing out on a really rewarding part of the game by neglecting to build up our houses? Makes you wonder. But it just costs so much! Better to stick to making more practical stuff dont you think?

this montage of him like helping ppl while news reporters badtalk him in the background is so fun

theres this clip where hes helping a kid from bullies and he fixes his science project and walks him home, and they almost cut it bc they thought it was unimportant but andrew said he needed it in bc it shows how much it would mean to kids like that if ppl stood up for them

oh yeah also hes like. watching gwen. keeping an eye out for her making sure shes safe even after theyve broken up and stopped talking and everything

oh my GOD this scene with may. this is iconic. peter just got done with helping out with a fire so hes still in his suit and hes covered in ash and may is knocking on the door and asking him to help her take her car into the shop for something, so petes like scrambling to hide himself under the covers so she doesnt see the suit, and then she comes in and thats where we get the "what happened to your face? its filthy." "it is?" "yes!" "oh yeah, yeah, i was cleaning.......the chimney........" "we have no chimney" "pffwhaaaaat??" exchange and it means so much to me

so max dillon is "the guy with the blueprints" that peter saved earlier in the film, we've gotten two mentions of him now but i didnt mention the second one bc it was barely important at all fjsdhfkjsd so we're going around his apartment with him while hes getting ready for work and its very clear that he is. obsessed. with spiderman. just by how his apartment looks. its completely decked out in merch and decorations and all that, and while he's getting ready, he talks to himself and he mimics having a conversation with spiderman as if theyre best friends???? like he gives him a super deep voice and certain like. vocabulary that he doesnt use. max even makes himself a cake and pretends that "spiderman", the one hes pretending to talk to, made it for him bc no one ever remembers his birthday. so hes very much a spiderman fan, hes very devoted and obsessed, and i want u to keep that in mind going forward in the film. there originally was a plot where max lived with his mother and she was incredibly cruel and dismissive towards him but they cut it for whatever reason and i think that was a good choice tbh bc he works so much better as an individual character. anyway, thats my max dillon blurb, on with the film.

so now we're onto this scene with may and peter, and may is on the phone with what we can assume is her manager at a diner, and shes asking for some time off bc she starts training rounds at the hospital to become a nurse, but she doesnt want peter to know bc she knows he'll worry and its so important to me jksfhskjdfh

theres a little throwaway joke here between peter and may where theyre talking abt how much peter makes and peter says "jameson pays me a fair wage, if it was 1961, he pays me a fair wage" and i dont think they thought many ppl would catch this but I DID so 1961 was the year before amazing fantasy #15, which was the comic to introduce the amazing spiderman, came out!! i had to look it up on one of my first watches of this film just to be sure

oh yeah max runs into gwen in the elevator!!! remember she works here like in the first movie!! so they watch footage of spiderman and max is talking abt how great he is while gwens kinda not so into it, and then gwen mentions how max is holding a happy birthday card thing. max says that hes having a very exclusive party, and he would invite gwen but the guest list is too full bc theres a ton of celebs going. clearly she doesnt rlly buy this but goes along with it anyway for his sake, then she leaves and says like "nice to meet u, max" and he freaks out bc she remembered his name before the scene cuts. very fun scene esp knowing the rest of the film.

s3 kaizo and glx kaizo are two different beings

damn right they are but its still so disappointing knowing what we lost in terms of fanservice but gained in terms of questionable redemption fuel that (surprise, surprise) never got used (,,,yet, anyway, but monsta takin their sweet time with that reconciliation arc in the comic)

from a simp/fanservice standpoint s3 kaizo easily takes the cake: he has this self-assured energy that makes him really feel like he owns whatever room he walks into even if his purpose is to get high off torturing kids, and monsta went and hired the most smooth seductive voice artist possible just to amp up his desirability by 1000%, and the animation just gave him these really over the top dramatic movements that could bring any fangirl to her knees. galaxy kaizo just. isnt it. ok :"3

from a lore standpoint ill say theyre both about equal but painfully inconsistent which is where the s3 kaizo =/= glx kaizo really hits home because s3 has a very 'space rebel does what he wants' kind of mindset which is very intriguing and has a lot of room to explore his backstory and why hes Like That but then its all retconned in galaxy where glx kaizo is part of tapops and literally working under the orders of someone else which is just so ooc? lahap is never mentioned again and instead we get hints of history with manramen who is ALSO never mentioned again except for trivia and cameo purposes.

backstory comic is a mixed bag because you can reasonably connect younger!kaizo's behaviour with either of his 'future' iterations BUT NOT BOTH like ok fine he lost his parents he trained under maskmana and then PRESUMABLY defected and decided to go solo that could make sense yk like hes been disillusioned by the system and takes out his unprocessed trauma on fang and projects his control issues onto him ILL BUY THAT OR he really did train under maskmana and joined the tapops/tempur-a alliance organization where he works for the higher ups and fang later trains under them too BUT you cant have both it jsut doesnt make sense its like two alternate universes where this orphan with a younger brother becomes a (problematic)hero or a villain

and of course from a kaizo and fang dynamic standpoint which is imo the most relevant given that fang is actually part of the main cast and kaizo ISNT: s3 kaizo is absolutely beyond the point of redemption. the only option is for fang to cut ties with him either subvertly where he distances himself enough for it to not matter, or directly where he snaps and lashes out at his abuser. galaxy kaizo, on the other hand, has the aforementioned redemption fuel where there is a chance for him to patch things up with fang because of implications that both sides still care and have concern for each other deep down. HE HAS A CHANCE but hes taking a painfully long time to use it and honestly im not even sure if i trust monsta to do that job right so i guess we're left at this crossroads where things could go in any direction from here. are they gonna keep being awkward about things till they eventually drift apart? is fang gonna keep letting himself be broken down by kaizos neglect till it affects him in another area of life? is fang finally gonna snap and assert his own rights and needs???? literally who knows </3

quiet .peaceful .light snores of the members filled the dorm .the room filled with nothing but darkness .black shade hovering over the members faces .they had just wrapped up a little celebration in the living room with cakes and party poppers to celebrate their 3rd year together not long ago .shortly after wrapping up the party ,they had fallen asleep on the couch ,all lying on one another comfortably .

sangyeon slowly blinked his eyes open .he rubbed his eyes and slowly unwrapped eric's hands from his waist and placed chanhee's legs that were on his lap onto the space of the sofa that he had previously occupied .careful to not wake the members up .

he looked at the members' sleeping forms and smiled ,glad that they were finally able to catch some rest after their packed schedules .he walked to the kitchen to fetch himself a glass of water and at the corner of his eyes ,he spotted a glimmering light .he placed his glass down and approached the light that was so very alluring for some reason .

there on the shelf of where all their awards have been placed on ,laid a book with its contents blinding his eyes with its bright light .he inspected the book for a while before proceeding to open it with caution .

inside the book ,there were sketches of the key moments the members have shared together such as their debut stage ,their first ever music show award as well as their first ever full length album promos .as he flipped to the first page that displayed their first moment together ,there were harsh winds blowing past him and a force from the book pulled him towards the page and right into it .

he looked at the 12 boys on stage ,introducing themselves for the first time to the whole wide world .and he looked at them with pride and honour in his eyes ,the boys' who had no idea what being idols would be like for themselves ,clueless of what the future had in store for them .he looked at them from the bottom of the stage and sucked in a breath ,"wow we've really grown a lot ."he thought .

after they had introduced themselves as a group and individually ,the sight in front of him suddenly pauses and his attention gets diverted to the door to his right .

he walked into the room .

he gets transported to the very first time they cried together ,over the pain ,over the stress ,over the tiredness of it all .

he looked at the 12 boys shedding tears of pain .he swallowed the lump in his throat ,the feelings of helplessness ,confusion ,fear coming washing over him once again as he sees the very moment they broke down .

tears flows down his face ,and that my friends are tears of the caretaker ,the leader ,the person whom the members depend on ,lee sangyeon .

as heavy as the weight he carried ,the tears poured like a fierce and powerful waterfall .

and then the door right next to him yet again invites him to step into yet another memory .

he steps onto the stage of road to kingdom ,and as he looks ahead the ending poses of all their road to kingdom stages are there right in front of him .all the members still and not moving ,just statures .

he walks down the long stretch ,as he looks at the legacy they left behind ,the power and strength ,the confidence from these stages that the members have gained progressively with each stage .

as he finally reaches the other end of the stage ,the screen opens up to when they had their 'the stealer'promotions .where they had their wins .

his smile grew wider and wider as he walked through all the performances they have done for the stealer and all the trophies they have gotten from the era .

and finally he reached another door .a door with a question mark on it .

he opens the door ,to pitch black .

darkness ,just darkness .and the fear in sangyeon grew ,"what does this darkness mean ?what is it gonna be for us ?"

suddenly , the door creaks open to reveal the members one by one .

sangyeon looks up at them and suddenly the fear stops ,hes no longer afraid as he looks into their eyes .

they ran to him and extended their hands out to him .

he proceeds to embrace all the members into a big tight group hug .drops of colour starts to paint the room ,slowly forming a picture showing the many stages they have performed ,every milestone theyve achieved ,the concerts ,every moment with their fans ,every moment together ,every vlives .everything starts out when theyre together .

we opened the door carefully ,proceeding to join our hands together and form a circle surrounding the boys .as we cried tears of joy and pride ,we hugged each other as well and this is when we knew
