I think he fights off these feelings for a long time, up until the protocore mission in the misty invasion memory. He just barely keeps it together until you’re rubbing all over him, pulling him closer to whisper his name in his ear, he just can’t take it. He needs to hear you say it louder. He needs everyone to hear you say his name.

He fucks you so sloppy, the kind of man who does not care what means he has to use as long as the end is what he wants. He wants you covered in marks of his making, he wants you to smell like him, he wants you to have trouble walking the next day, and he wants that asshole who tried hitting on you at work to ask you “what’s wrong? You look like you’re having trouble walking”

And as soon as the guy asks that you look over to Xavier, who has the most pleased little shit eating grin on his face.

The craziest part is that after he gets it all out of his system he’s back to being the little innocent sweet boy. But you know his secret, and he likes that you know it.

welcome the the fourteenth fic rec friday! where, on friday, i rec five of my favourite fics.

1. tell me again, do you love me? by @hiuythn

If it were anybody else, Lance would think they’re messing with him for fun.

But Keith is Keith, straight-forward and guileless. If he’s touching Lance more, it’s only because he’s gotten more comfortable. And on one hand, that’s great, that’s—Lance feels very honored. His heart is doing backflips and aerial stunts and everything. On the other, this is really not helping with his raging crush.

His breaking point turns out to be when Keith, exhausted after a day of subspace meetings, drops his head onto Lance’s shoulder and sighs.

It’s a sigh that says, now I’m comfortable, that admits, I’m recharging, that practically screams, you help.

Hands in his pockets, he lets Lance bear his weight as if he trusts Lance to handle it. Great. That’s just—how dare he. How dare he be so vulnerable with Lance? Who does that?

It’s so enraging that Lance just blurts out, “I’m going to need you to stop doing this before I fall in love with you even more, asshole.”

Keith freezes. - Or, five times Lance acknowledges his feelings for Keith and one time Keith reciprocates.

okay hiuythn is literally one of if not my favourite klance artist to ever cross this fandom. she is, as she has titled herself, the total queen of best friends to lovers. she nails it every time. this fic in particular is somehow exactly what the description says and also not what you expect. i have read this fic dozens of times, i read it every time i really want to smile with my whole heart. this fic is cute and sweet and funny and GOD i love it

2. ‘CAUSE EVERY TIME WE TOUCH I GET THIS FEELING by @hiuythn

“It is a blessing,” the high priest warbles. God, he’s so old that Lance is afraid he’ll just expire on the spot. “From our God of Celibacy, to aid you in your fight to keep your bodies free of worldly taint.”

“Okay,” says Lance. “Only we didn’t ask for it. We asked for your planet’s support in a war.”

Beside him, Keith is staring at his bare hand, expression stormy.

Earlier, he had placed it on Lance’s exposed wrist and something like an electric shock had ripped through them at the touch.

“You should’ve told us that participating in your religious ceremony would do this to us,” he says now, a growl under his words.

The high priest falters in his tracks, confused by their lack of gratitude.

Yeah, fuck you, man. Don’t go around giving people spiritual STDs.

yall are gonna get a lot of hiuythn today. and ur gonna like it. bc yet another thing she nails is the black paladin keith red paladin lance dynamic!! theyre so stupid and codependent. i love them. this whole fic is just the funniest premise alive, and no fic makes me laugh like a hiuythn fic. oh and also quick warning that this fic IS explicit, but i encourage u to give it a try even if thats not ur thing bc i guarantee you will be laughing

Keith gives Lance a nickname. Lance mistakenly assumes that it’s an insult.

god i love this one. the idea of keith being so whipped that he doesn’t even realise that hes slipping out the fondest nickname in the world every time he speaks...god. i love him. hes so dorky and soft i adore them liek actually

Keith is touch-starved to the point of stupidity. Lance helps. Lance tries to help. Lance tries.

the description alone should have yall clicking the fic fr. its so cute, and yet again the best friends to lovers and black paladin keith/red paladin lance has been completely nailed like i cannot get enough. i would gobble up a thousand fics every single day by her honestly

5. i killed sendak for this by @hiuythn

“I’m married?” Keith blinks. “I’m married to you?”

i actually read this one years ago, before any of the other fics came out for me to obsess over, and i loved it then too!! so sweet and dorky and funny. also flustered down bad keith and flirty suave lance is always a peak dynamic actually

anyhoo, onto ur question!

i think marius is big spoon 70% of the time

marius strikes me as a very clingy sleeper, once hes comfortable with whoever hes sleeping with. and once luke is esconced in his embrace, there is No Escaping. marius is tall, so his limbs are Long. he will lovingly ensnare luke most of the time theyre sleeping in the same bed together

this kinda tendency for marius is a callback to how, under all the professionalism and/or the playful snark, deep down theres just this immense want for genuine affection that wants to break through.

marius' clinginess in his sleep strikes luke as a tad childish, but not in an insulting way. like....when luke wakes up and marius is hugging him so close, luke looks at him and sees marius' youth shine through in the earnestness. and having the oppurtunity and privilege to see marius like this makes luke feel honored, because it's marius letting him see a part of him that nobody else gets to see

luke usually wakes up a good half hour earlier than marius on a usual day, but when theyre sleeping in the same bed together, luke isnt in a rush to get up at all. because even if he did, the moment luke would try to pull away, marius would make a soft sleepy noise of disapproval. luke can read between the lines. dont go, marius is saying, however intentional or not.

so luke doesnt go. he stays and enjoys the warmth of marius' spooning, and also takes pleasure in feeling immensely cherished because

marius is has a lot of power a lot of money a lot of influence etc etc; he could have anything in the world. but in this moment, in his sleep, honesty shines through. the thing he wants to have and keep the most is luke

but....

i think luke also gets his turn as big spoon the rest of the 30% of the time

if marius is a clingy sleeper, i think luke is a Very Light Sleeper. side effect of the NSB days and the probable PTSD and also the having to handle random nerve pain episodes. luke is always braced for something to go wrong, even in his sleep. this is also why marius is big spoon most of the time, because it helps luke feel safe.

but there are days that even luke—who seems to be full of endless energy, alertness, and capability—gets tired. too tired for that restless hypervigilance to set in, too tired to do anything but just want to conk out immediately.

being held by marius is lovely and calming and peaceful, but there are days when luke is tired that the best way for his energy to slowly creep back up is to be the one holding marius instead.

marius doesnt mind, and hes more than happy to help luke recharge. plus, when luke is the one spooning him, because of their height difference, luke kinda just hooks his chin over marius' shoulder or nuzzles at his nape. it's adorable to marius

and marius just very much likes being the one that can both make luke feel safe and make luke feel the weight of exhaustion just a little bit less

🌹 what does ur oc find attractive in other people? are these traits found in their friends and/or romantic partners? are they found in themselves? | HMMMMMMMM this is an interesting one to consider. because Primarily the features she finds attractive are: whatever rizas features are JFLKDJLGKJDFJ. physically, she meets a woman, beth, who looks remarkably Like riza once she escapes drachma and gives up being an assassin, and is immediately stricken with her just based on that alone (they date and fall in love more naturally after some time, but the Beginning of their relationship is really um Not Especially Healthy because theyre both using the other as a substitute/supplement for someone/something else: feiga is using beth as a riza stand-in, and beth is Letting Her because she knows of riza Separately from all this and wants what she has so bad, to be as pretty and smart and competent and Wanted as riza is. theres all kinds of beth lore too thats too much to get into on this feiga post jfdklsjfldksajdfklas). i guess physical traits she finds attractive then are short, soft/curvy women with long blonde hair and tits the size of her head FJDKLSJGL, all traits that feiga decidedly does not have, being tall, angular/skinny with purple-black hair, and mosquito bite boobs ❤️ (im working on her reference sheet and EVENTUALLY i will have a drawing or sketch of her that is acceptable in my eyes to post. i need everyone to see her and behold her with their eyes)

🍷 does ur oc drink? what kind of alcohol do they enjoy? what are their drinking habits? what kind of drunk are they? | she is fantasy russian so ud Think that she could take three fingers of whiskey like its nothing but shes actually so baby. she has not trained her tolerance very well because being drunk is Not Great when u have to track and kill a mark, so she doesnt like drink recreationally or anything. she needs her wits about her, she HATES not feeling in control, so stumbling around or slurring her words or not being able to handle a rifle are things that would make her itch. shes also just naturally a lightweight because of how skinny she is, a lot of drinks will just hit her like a fucking truck lmao. but shes not like straight edge or anything, she Has drank before and she probably will again after she flees drachma, but not super often—if only because, again, she is so baby. she will be three sheets to the wind after like A Drink, and she gets Sleepy and Hiccupy and Babble-y and will probably need to be carried cutely to bed, where she will mumble and murmur and make cutie kitten noises in her sleep. and then shell wake up with the worst migraine/hangover anyone on the planet has ever had, and throw up so hard her face is pulled three inches off her skull because she didnt have any water while she was drinking ^_^ because shes so fuckign stupid ^_^

🩸is ur oc squeamish? are they disturbed by the sight of blood? have they ever been in a situation where they had to overcome being squeamish? | i think she was probably squeamish as a little kid but she had to get over it Real fast with the way her family lived. not only having to see and also deal with her siblings getting hurt/sick/dying in varying degrees of bloody ways (because again, her parents did Nothing to try and heal their children, and when it was time to bury them that responsibility would often fall on feiga), but living in the middle of buttfuck nowhere, they had to hunt for their food. im thinking this is something she would do with her father, and then when it was time to clean/process the meat, she would do that with her mother. very bloody jobs, very bloody childhood in general for her—and adulthood! since she goes Immediately from the cabin in the tundra to her assassin training, like shes roughly 14ish? when she starts her training (shes an exceptional shot). literally she is plucked up out of her childhood home and becomes an assassin, there is no point in her life where she isnt being confronted with blood and gore and death. and ofc there are jobs where sniping a mark may not be the best option, so she has had to kill with her hands, up close and personal. she is no stranger to this stuff, and it doesnt bother her at all, it hasnt in about two decades

yurame's candy crack. twinkly kind of sound if u like that. dont remember if this one made the ranking but worth a listen

rinri's usureru. this is Much calmer & quieter than the others i've put so far but its really good. its mostly rime but hime in the chorus isnt a combination ive thought of before but it Works i really like this one

akire's HERE!. ive never particularly vibed with his songs before but this one. this ones got a very nice sound. does this count as edm idk im bad with genres. miku sounds soft in it & it works u just have to trust me-

Ç¢Çª's R4. this is another lighter sounding one (not as much as the rime one but more so than the others) with a chimey type of sound. i think the animation in its fun.

wataru sena's sensitive ghost. this reminds me of yowanecity's songs & i mean that in a good way. it has that type of sound. high energy type song. good.

eo's EX!T. another fun high energy sounding song.

kitto, zutto, botti's warau wa. its not super similar to it but it has a line that shares a melody with their other song amaoto to, mau so they're probably definitely related but im not invested enough to make sure. its good on its own even if u havent heard the other tho.

zensen's dance deggee. if u like. electro swing. i think thats what zensen usually does. its good. perhaps another kafu song for ur playlist

everythin basically same set up, but all opinions on loki n thor dynamic? public speculation. jealous loki, prideful thor, n sibling rivalry turned tragedy? rumors started by asgardian equivalent of gossip columns. people talk bout em like they the kardashians. sif n the warriors three major attitudes? palace servants takin lil things way outta proportion.

thor uses his naturally sunshine puppy look n personality to gauge peoples intentions, surprisingly good for intel gathering. no major change, hes still a jock, just one with a golden heart n sum tricks picked up fr his mastermind lil bro. strong leader, relies on each friends specialty n makes final calls. believes in fairness n honor.

lokis the group strategist; first to suggest takin advantage of public opinion to their favor. he respects older bro cause thor values his insight. hybrid wine aunt n mom friend. will fret if u arent eating well, will also laugh n help u avoid consequences for starting an international incident while everything burns around em. self sacrificing, gets on frens nerves.

sif cast as hypocritical misogynist that hates loki as her opposite, when really they r thick as thieves n casually overturn the patriarchy after brunch. self care w loki after beating sexist pig appointment at twelve. regular appointments to salon loki to touch up her roots n bitch bout judgmental cis hets. is blunt brute force, straightforward attitude often misinterpreted. not close to many, but love fiercely those she comes to care for. shes here to kick ass n laugh w her frens while doin it, get out her way.

fandral seen as quippy air-headed man whore, actually soft boy guarding himself w sarcasm but falls in love way too easily n consequently gets his heart broken on the regular. sif once told him to cry her a river. now he randomly crashes their patriarchy pummeling brunches to bitch bout his latest 'true love.' it vexes sif, but she wont tell him to stop cause she needs to kno how these unworthy pieces of crap treated her shield bro; overprotective but wont admit it. loki thinks its hilarious n asks fandral questions that fire him back up every time he starts to calm down. when necessary, fandrals a master actor who can play any part n blend in anywhere. well traveled n smooth talkin, very diplomatic.

they say hogun is grim cause of his mean right hook n grunts that often act as dialogue with few words sprinkled in. quick, forceful, n sever r words strangers use to describe him. n theyre accurate... for his fighting style. personality wise? poor baby has social anxiety n neurodivergent enough to have trouble making eye contact. hes not dismissing u, he just cant get the words out. hes not lookin down on u or aloof, hes focusin on what ur sayin its just hard for him to make eye contact. once he feels comfortable w u, he still doesnt talk that much, but more cause he dont kno how to not be straightforward n prefers to use physical touch or wordless sounds to communicate. actually, his frens understand his 'language' more when he isnt straining to use words. hogun expresses himself a million different ways; walk, volume, facial expression, stims, humming, etc. but in front of strangers? blank slate. no thoughts, head empty, panic mode on. frens presence soothes enough for a few words but no more than that right now.
