My understanding of Jason Todd's age;

Jason dies when he's 15, 4 months before his 16th birthday. He is dead for any number of time; it doesn't count towards his age.

He's resurrected; he is in a coma for 1 year, then catatonic for another. He is then put into a Lazarus Pit. (These 2 years are practically useless, as he doesn't remember them and they contribute very little to the story. They could be condensed to 2 months and it would change basically nothing.)

He trains for about a year. You can then give him 1-12 months of prep and planning time before his debut as the Red Hood, and the story of UT(R)H, at which point he would be mentally 16-17, physically 18-19, and it would be (--) years after his birth.

"fuck off!" he shouts back. he ignores the shouting from the kids outside. he doesn't even realize when it all suddenly stops.

"albert." race has always been much gentler when it comes to handling albert's moods. "hey, open the door so i can come in or you have to come out here." albert unlocks the door and race slips in. "what's going on? smalls told me you ran into the house and ran straight up here, she said you've locked yourself in here for hours."

"look." albert hands him the pregnancy test in his hand. race stares at it. "yeah." race takes a seat across from him in the bathroom.

"it's okay. al, it's all gonna be okay."

"i'm keeping it," he says quietly. race nods like that isn't a little crazy for him to say. he rubs at his eyes. "don't say anything for a little while, i don't want everyone to know."

"okay." albert twists his hands up in his sweater. "but you have to tell medda." albert nods.

"in a moment, race." race places his hands on either side of albert's face and presses a kiss to his forehead. albert hugs him tightly, tucking his head into race's chest. "how am i gonna do it alone?"

i am a strong believer in not being rude to young kids on the internet, especially in like kid-friendly media spaces, but sometimes i cant help but wish young kids would stay off of the internet and out of fandom spaces.. like sure, ten year olds are allowed to like saiki k but theyre also the ones that ruin all the comment sections on tiktok or youtube lol..

any time someone mentions a ship, there r hundreds of those "WHAT!! 💔💔 no... saiki x coffee jelly is better!! 😿 if you need to ship, ship saiki x the normal guy! but i ship them in a platonic ship because its better!" Admittedly, he did not strike me as particularly... 'Independent' at first, more so a follower as he seemed to tag along and do whatever the Scions asked of him, and what other task was thrust onto him by what I can only assume to be strangers. Without complaint he would help anyone who asked. Nor did it help as I happened to catch him struggle to read. Labels and books both, though if that was why he was quick to grab my attention, I would not say so. The name "Lily Oh'fally" is uncommon for a man and like I, he was not originally from the city either, though I would later come to learn of the events that brought him to one. A much tragic tale for someone that young.

Our paths would continue to cross and I found myself someone reliable, familiar perhaps, as he like I, found difficulty in expressing himself. "Everyone is relying on me..." Okay I’m a comic book reader and I still didn’t realise that Roy and Jason didn’t interact in earlier comics. To be fair I don’t read actual Batman comics but I’m still shocked.

Roy and Jason basically only had one minor interaction before n52 (and my living nightmare that is RHATO) its actually pretty cute basically there was a few issues of ntt where most of the new titans were off doing other things so a few members of the og titans came together to stop jade from doing crimes this included Roy Donna wally esc and Jason was there bc Dick was getting his heart broke in space - so Roy and Jason had a few moments in the story were Roy would show Jason a cool gadget and baby jason would just be like "wow that's so cool" bc baby it also lead to the funny moment of Roy finding out he was a dad and Jason just happened to be there standing awkwardly in the background but that is basically it for Jason and Roy interactions before my arch nemesis Scott lobdell wrote RHATO and somehow managed to butcher 3 characters and do so much damage that people celebrate when Roy is not drawn with a silly little baseball cap its incredible actually
