I looove being virtually unkillable while doing a good amount of damage. his charge-up attacks are a little slow but sooo satisfying when it takes out a group of enemies in one hit

2. Cream Soda

She does suuuuch good damage and is currently my strongest cookie :D her special is really cool with the way you can hit up to 3 times with it, plus the buff afterwards

3. Lemon Zest

My third strongest. Having a ranged cookie on hand is always good. I'm not a fan of his ultimate locking on a target with 1 hp rather than the boss who's right there that i was literally facing as i pressed the button. but anyway,

Yep him again. He's my specialest little boy!!! I love me a cheerful traveler character and he gets the massive bonus of being SOOOOOO ADORABLE ✪ ω ✪ <- when his eyes go like this imlike. WHY ARE YOU AN IMAGE ON THE SCREEN I NEEEEEED TO HUG YOU. His admiration of Basil Pesto is so cute i need them to interact more. I wish he participates more in stories in the future, even if they're side stories... i really wanna know more about him. I headcanon him as transmasc, that being part of the reason why he left his village. Imagine the pressure of not just being an heir to your home's most important lineage, but having to perform gender on top of that???? You go boy break all the cookie-shaped holes in all the walls you want 😭😭

2. Lemon Zest

Ok kinda basic given that he's a very popular character archetype but like-- i LIKE this sort of character and he reminds me of Kano from Kagepro both in appearance and personality and God knows Kano occupied my brain for 2 years and he's amazing and awesome so. biased. I'm intrigued about his role as an elite Citrus Order Knight, while acting not knightly at all on the surface level. i LOOOVE a character who appears lazy and laid-back but becomes selfless and hard-working when things get serious. Also love a character who can't be genuine for even 1 second or they will explode. And love a character pressured and held back by high expectations put on them. At this point the patterns in my faves become very obvious (i mean. look at my icon). Also! I headcanon him as transfem. I use she/he in my head, but online only he/him cuz im scared to cause confusion LMAO

3. Basil Pesto

This one is a new additions!! Both to the game and to my head. I love him!!! Ok so first off having a character with an actually different mold id awesome. Cuz so far we've only had skinny and average/small height cookies (aside from Muscle Cookie but. Who cares about that guy) so i like having SOME variety. Other than that, GIMME a character who used to be a mercenary but quit and became a cook? like, HELLO??? Just like the top 2, he was MADE FOR MEEEE i love mercenaries, esp reformed ones cuz you can deal with the ✨guilt✨ it's prob not gonna be in the story sadly (tho considering stuff that happens in the franchise lately i doubt that exploring his past and how it affects him would be too dark (*glances at CRK*) He's a great cook, he's nice and sweet and cares about people, he's super honest and sincere, but i'm 100% suuuuure he's got some nasty secrets that he covers up under that smile. SHOW ME EVERYTHING GRANDPA.

Oh but i haven't finished chapter 11 yet so idk i highly doubt they went into that therem but just in case.

AND THERE'S THAT. TOA's characters are really simple and flat so far and I'm afraid that that's gonna continue being the case just cuz of the nature of how the story is progressing so far *cries* but im gona be looking forward to the day that this maybe stops being the case... please devsis... you probably put all your good writers to work on CRK but pleeeaaase make good story for TOA and its characters. i became attacjed,

just finished reading the izuku chapter for the second time and im so fucking blown away. your izuku makes me crazy hes so deranged i love it, it makes me feel like my freak is being matched with hoe insane i was trying to figure out who the secret character was lmao.

your izuku has ruined all others for me permanently because where else am i supposed to find a guy who’s as insane and determined and sexy as he is?? where am i going to read about a guy wanting me so much he died because rejected him? and he’s sososo caring + insane. the ask where you replied about him mumbling about all of the erogenous zones. so true and it killled meeee. i love that crazy man so much. not only do i his characterization just in general i also think it’s incredibly accurate interpretation of what izuku would be like in that situation and that’s what kills me the most. i love how (and this is not only talking about current route but all previous ones as well) in character and sexy he is. like he’s doing something in character sexy. like yes he would do all that weird shit and i love him for it. it’s infinitely important to me lmao. i don’t think i really articulated that well but i’m hoping my neurons are reaching your neurons and you know what i mean.

(also very much liked katsuki in this fic because he was also exhibiting 10/10 freak behavior, kissing opened mouth when my soulmate is in the room and the glimpse of our life with him was him having mc sit on his face like a chair? it’s very fun to revisit him in this route considering he was first written if you ever do vignettes [want to make it super clear that I don’t want it to come off like I’m pressuring you to write them, it’s just something I like to think about because this ff has a hold on my soul lmaooooo but that goes for anything you’d want to write ever] it’ll be so exciting to see him again as i love freaks)

The hospital wont let you in to see him!! You're not related, so they wont even give you any important information. You're about to blow a blood vessel just to get behind those mysterious double doors and find him yourself. As a last resort, you call the dumbass brother back up and demand he come and get you in.

Calling Jim to come see (Your ex) Wayne:

You're already annoyed having to be here in the first place, getting dragged off your couch after work because ex as done something dubious (Probably) and gotten himself hospitalised and made you worried sick. You're even more frustrated when no one here will answer any of your questions.

He's stable, they say. Yes, you respond in an irritated tone. But what does that m e a n?? Is going to get better or is he c o m f o r t a b l e? As in, dying but without the pain.

Every time someone says We cant hand out any further information without a relative, you want to crush something.

You try to tell yourself they're just doing their jobs, because they are and you respect that, but its Wayne.

And he's not allowed to die, yet. Not without your permission. No way. He wouldn't dare. Bastard.

Finally you leave the waiting room and stand outside in the cold night time air to dial your recent call. Jim picks up after 2 rings, but he doesn't sound all there, this time. Great.

"Hey, Jim."

"Oh Y/N! Nice to hear your voice, sweetcheeks. How are you, hm??"

"Well, not great." You respond bluntly, glancing at the glowing red and white sign above the emergency room entrance. "... Look, I'm not calling to chat. They're not telling me anything because I'm not family, so you're going to have to get over your family drama and get over here, now. Okay??"

"... get to where?"

You have no patience for Jim's drunk bullshit right now. "The hospital where your brother is laying somewhere possibly dying. That place. Ring a bell??"

"... vaguely." He sounds like he definitely remembers, but would prefer not to. Not because he's worried about Wayne, but because its an added irritation sprinkled on top of what is already what you assume to be a failure of a day. Like a gross fly hanging around your head on a sweltering hot day.

"Wonderful. So??"

"So what."

"jIM!"

The screech in your voice hurts his ears, thats evident by the groan he gives, but it wakes him up at least. "Okay, okay- I get it, I heard you, yeah. Uh-... Y'want me to come talk to the doctors about Wayne... Um... I would... but...- "

"Oh no!" You snap. "No buts!"

"... but- "

"No!" You insist, shaking your head. "He is possibly dying, Jim- or dead, since I last asked. And maybe you don't want anything to do with him anymore, which I understand since he's a pain in the ass, but I- " Something in you clenches and you take a deep breath to steady yourself. To stop yourself from crying. You're keeping it together, god-fucking-damnit. "But I don't care. Scrape your pathetic drunk ass off whatever sticky bar stool you're currently wasting away on and come visit your brother, or visit a nice lady in deaths reception- because if you don't come here I will send you there myself. I don't care, but either way, make your decision-- NOW!"

Then you hang up, and take another deep breath; crisp air filling up your lungs and making you feel dizzy. "... I need fries." You finally sigh out when the anger thins out leaving behind just the exhaustion, turning heavily on your aching feet back towards the door. Drenched in tomato sauce.

Mmm...

After you methodically emptied 5 packets of ketchup onto your stale, lukewarm hospital cafeteria fries and eaten one- you can feel your entire body coming back to life. If only to tell you how achy you are from work and then getting here and stressing so bad the whole way. Calm down, its yelling at you. And with the salty chippies in front of you and the taste of tomato sauce on your tongue, you almost do.

... But then you remember how badly you want to see Wayne okay, and how it surprised you how hard this hit you even after all this time. You made him leave back then; you got away just in time, before you became a casualty in his terrible life. You did the smart thing. You're the smart one! You've always been the smart one; you practically had no choice.

But apparently not all of you is smart.

Letting out a slow breath through your nose, you lean your forehead into you the heels of your hands, elbows on the table.

When your phone buzzes you manage to wrangle it out of your pocket and chuck it on the table, weakly opening it up and sighing as you read your notification.

Give me a few hours.

You can pay me in bourbon.

Slowly you type out a thank you.

Calling Wayne to come see (Your ex) Jim:

After you hang up on Reba (You annoyed the nurse enough that she called the woman who dropped Jim off so she could speak to you- and that was Reba. But she told you that he got half eaten up by a giant fucking crocodile and now you don't feel any better), you get out your own phone and unblock Wayne's number- then press call before you can back out of it, and wait impatiently for him to answer.

It takes him 6 awful rings, but just when you're ready to curse him out of pure frustration (And tiredness- it took a lot longer to get here then you first thought. Its 4am, now.) he picks up. 'Hello'-ing you like he doesn't know who this is. Whether he does or not you roll your eyes and mimic him with all the restrained annoyance of a sneering 5-year-old. "hElLo. Wayne! Its me again."

"Oh, well hey. Uh, you seen him yet?"

"No!!" You cry, frustrated and forgetting for a second that he doesn't actually care. "They wont let me, I'm not family." When he merrily hums into the receiver, like he's not really paying attention (like instead of sympathising with you over his brother being in hospital, he's flicking through a newspaper or taking a sip of lukewarm coffee) you breath in a sharp, clipped breath. Right. You're alone. "Anyway- come here."

He perks up immediately on his end of the line. "Heheh, oh?? Well, this is sudden, but uh... sure. Something I said resonated with you, huh?"

"I need you to come and get information about Jim. Get me into the room. You're his brother."

"... oh."

"Please."

"Ehhhh... you know; I'm kinda busy... "

Ughhh- "You are not!" You snap, sounding petulant. You don't care, you're tired... and you're worried... and you suddenly cant remember why you left Jim because you need him to be okay so bad that your chest hurts. You've been trying not to stop this whole time, bothering nurses with phone calls and eventually your face for hours, because if you don't you might cry. After a moment, and he doesn't respond, you take a deep breath and force yourself to sound calm. You know you sound psychotic but at this point you don't really care. You turn away from other people in the busy waiting room. "Wayne- Believe me, if you do not get your crusty ass into a car, or a plane, or a train, or a really fast bus and help me, then I am going to track you down, and get you. Trust me, I have the annual leave lined up. I will find you, and not even Lyle will be able to save you."

"See, now, I'm kinda intrigued~ Maybe I want you to come get me, huh sweetheart?"

"I will squeeze you so hard the little hole your blanks come out of closes up for good, Wayne."

"Jesus- "

"Hop to it! Now!" You snap, then hang up and go get a shot of chocolate from a vending machine. Clearly, you need it.

When you finally sit down 10 minutes later in the cafeteria, a coffee and a crumbly brownie in front of you, you give a sigh and stretch your legs out under the wobbly table. Hiyam:

Hiyam is someone who cares about appearance and success. She cares about her looks, music, and isn't the most social of people -- though she knows how to flirt.

So I feel she might be an undark being. Maybe half/full-drow or duergar. I'm leaning the latter because it seems that drow society is Intense and I don't feel that such an intense society would actually beget Hiyam, though she would probably fit there after birth. Also duergar are dwarves -- and dwarves are creatures of pride [from what I can see] and can be quite snobbish. Plus the duergar we've met are DICKS.

I can see her being a bard, because music. But also because I feel it would get the same reaction from the duergar society as it got from her parents: WTF.

Duergar value toil above all else. Showing emotions other than grim determination or wrath is frowned on in their culture, but they can sometimes seem joyful when at work. They have the typical dwarven appreciation for order, tradition, and impeccable craftsmanship, but their goods are purely utilitarian, disdaining aesthetic or artistic value.

So I can see her being like the cultural hard-work but being like well I like flash and substance, and everyone was like .... was she dropped in the head? Also, I feel Bard works because Hiyam is a flirt -- and she has the allure of a songstress. She isn't traditionally charismatic but she does draw people. Plus vicious mockery and tasha's hideous laughter is perfect for her lmao. I think College of Valour would work best for her because music tells a tale -- I mean most mine do, but she definitely I feel uses her music to recount her experiences or hint at things. But also to talk about certain things she finds important.

I love this so much! Just the way Brennan makes all of these rolls important and makes sure that every single dice roll means something important and meaningful is just... it's SO nice! I love it so much!

It's so rare that clerics...at least from my d&d games that I play in...cause I usually always play clerics...but like...getting to have an actual relationship with your deity usually never even becomes a thing! 7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? so many of my fics are fluff-fest so I'm not really sure. maybe i carry this feeling because it's (currently) the end to a long future fic series and feels like a good buttoning-up of that story which is still being added to

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I've written French dialogue in fics before (not in this fandom) which made sense situationally. I think it works as long as you make sure to translate in end notes and/or through context clues, so the reader doesn't have to keep jumping back and forth between google translate

I stg if y'all don't watch, if y'all don't stream this show and run our chance for the slow burn wenclair I am craving, I'll never forgive y'all. Trust in Hunter, trust the cast, and heck if Hunter was even allowed to post that I'm feeling we can trust the writers. Trust in Jenna, this girl has worked so hard for this character with so much care because she is that important to her, she gets Wednesday, in her we can trust. With a character like Wednesday this slow build is so important, the fact she has no interest in her 'love interests' but actually has amazing development with her friendship with Enid is such a big thing. I can see the set up for the slow burn we deserve. The series is also just 8 eps for the first season, that's amazing development for 8 eps! Imagine seasons to come ;-;!!! And there is other LGBTQ representation this season which explains the WednesGay promotion, this gives me even more hope for wenclair since there's already queer representation in the show!!! No queerbaiting here. Wenclair has yet to be confirmed but also denied, we have hope. Y'all, please, dropping before even watching it doesn't make any sense and will just ruin any chance of this actually happening. Personally, the reviews have just hyped me up and I can't wait, I know I'ma binge and rewatch multiple times not even for streaming but because of what this character means to meeee. I hope everyone does watch it, counting on y'all.

1. your all time favorite bl and why: the ITSAYverse- ITSAY, LTIP & IPYTM (everyone act shocked). This story put my heart, throat and soul in a vice grip from the first viewing and hasn't let me go since. I'm feeling saucy today, so here's a hot take: if I had to choose one (which is impossible), it'd be IPYTM.

Hear that? It's the cacophony of anons raging in my inbox already...

2. that one bl that scarred you for life: the mere mention of Theory of Love makes my blood pressure spike to this day, and absolutely everything in FUTS aside from my chaos sons made me want to throw something. Anything. EVERYTHING.

3. bl that made you feel very single: UWMA/DeanPharm. They're so soft, so healthy and OhmFluke's insane talent combined with their IRL deep friendship/love for each other resulted in a kind of magic that constantly made me feel like I was intruding on their moment.

4. if you could change one thing from a bl, which one would it be? apparently we're not done with don't-come-for-me time: the ending of Bad Buddy. You can find my reasoning/me crying about it here.

Also, TharnType is 500 kinds of problematic but MewGulf's chemistry could melt paint off walls, so.

7. your favorite korean bl (it’s important we know): Light on Me Light on Me LIGHT ON MEEEE. I might like it *just* a little. Like a smidge.

8. but also your top 3 for kbls: besides LOM, the only other K-BL's I'm a big fan of are To My Star and A First Love Story (a two-part short that might get made into a movie, last I heard).

IT'S DEFINITELY KLANCE, YEP. I didn’t talk much about them anymore but boy do they still have me in a chokehold. These boys own my soul tbh

I uh. Write much much more than I intended to lmao so, the rest goes under the cut!

Shipping them is actually kinda unexpected, you see, because while it's true that I started vld because one of my favorite writer start writing about them and I got curious, I actually went through the first 2 seasons completely not understanding where the ship is coming from lmao. I was more of a Shallura and Shatt shipper at that point, and I saw Klance as more of a friendly-rival characters sorts but probably won't go toward romantic route, kind of like Heishin for me. I am, however, already fell in love with Keith from the very start (this bit here is very important, alright?).

And then season 3 rolls around and I..... just fell headfirst into the Klance hell. Specifically that moment in front of Black when Lance goes to comfort Keith. I was just... so enamored by this moment, because see, up to that point Keith has been really insufferable, which is absolutely justified, but so is his teammates disdain toward him. And yet, out of all 5 people present there the one who goes up and comfort him is Lance. The rival. The boy who loudly complain whenever Keith as much as glance toward him. Like, they could've easily made Coran do that, with him being the oldest and (supposedly) the wisest among all of them. He did that with Lance, after all. Or Allura, maybe, because she's technically the leader of the pack and it make sense for her to try and comfort her subordinate. And yet, it was Lance who goes up and stand beside him.

And then the next eps when he just blindly goes after Lotor and literally endangering his teammates? Even I, the self-proclaimed Keith #1 fan, got a bit annoyed and feeling a bit like I want to kick some sense into him. And yet Lance is still the only one who's faithfully flying beside him, reigning him back when he's literally leaving his teammate behind, comforting him again and doesn't even try to antagonize him when he admits he went too farーlike bro. That "Keith, don't do this!" scene still haunts my dream, it was so good.

Those moment really cements how good Lance is for Keith, and that's ultimately what made me ship them in the first place. You see, one of my rule in shipping is that I will ship whoever made my favorite character happy. Like, this is kinda why I'm still a Naruhina shipper at heart because I love Hinata to death and I want her to have the man of her dream, despite how much I agree that Narusasu or even Narusaku is a league above them in term of a good couple. Like, I mostly just want to see my favorite character being happy, y'know? So yep. Those s3 moment show me how good Lance is to Keith, and that's how I sold my soul to the devil :'D

One other thing that really sent me is this specific characters trait of Keith and Lance. Keith, as an orphan who was left to fend off for himself for most of his childhood, ends up having too many love left to give. And Lance, the boy who have a bazillions family member, ends up already giving too many love in his life. And well, Keith will have more than enough love to shower Lance. Soulmate behavior, don't you think? 😆

It really doesn't help (or it does?) that I've always love an enemy/rival-to-lover trope since I know what shipping is. So in a way, I love Klance because I love Kaishin, ahah 🙈

You got me on Jercy (I'm not kidding I hated Jercy before you) but Percabeth is my OG ship like they started me ok fanfics and they're like my first real ship period. And I hate all the hate Annabeth gets because I really love her so I just wanted to ask you if you could go more in depth with why you aren't big on her/Percabeth please

Hi my Gretch seeing your username (on any of the platforms) makes me forever and eternally happy. Okay onto this beautiful, intense ask:

First things first: I love Annabeth. Like Annabeth as a character? wonderful, incredible, unreal. She is so versatile and full of so many things that make us human and I see her character and character arc as a complex web full of intricacies and weaknesses (yes i said web on purpose).

My favourite things about her:

1. She always has a goal, whether it be long term or, I'm just trying to stay alive in this second. For people like me who kind of go through life on vibes and a vague sense of what they want it is awing to read about and meet people who have solid, planned goals that they live, breathe, and perform by.

2. She is proud of her friends. Since her fatal flaw is pride it is very easy to see the downfall but there is also an upside in that she uses that well of pride as an extension of her and it reflects on others. We know she is proud of Percy, and grover, and Thalia, and why Luke’s betrayal hit so hard for her

3. She continues to break stereotypes. Not just as the dumb blonde (which was admittedly a big thing at the time of the book’s release) but also in her being a girl who saves herself, who goes on the dangerous quests, who isn’t helpless. I never had a lack of female role models in my life but adding Annabeth to the mix only did me more good.

4. She thinks things through: I am kind of impulsive when it comes to certain aspects in my life and I have some thought process for other parts but Annabeth is not impulsive. As much as she has ADHD, in which impulsivity is fairly common, she doesn’t present with it. And it’s refreshing and exciting to see this character that thinks through plans and decisions and tries to predict the outcome, not only so she can change it if need be but also to prepare herself for what is to come. Narratives (especially at the time of those books) were full of impulse and quick decisions and always being on the spot. Hell Percy was exactly this kind of narrtator. And while I love dit because I mean what ten year old doesn't love fast-paced intense excitement? it was so truly wonderful to read about someone who thought further. It allowed you to connect to the next page, chapter, book. 

5. She is a complete badass. And I love it. I love badass women. I could never get enough of them and I think they should rule the world. And I love smart people. I love them. Smartness, intelligence, is so attractive to me. Because it means you have passion, and the ability to think beyond your surroundings. Annabeth Chase is hella smart.

What I've been having a crisis over for the last few years is Percabeth. It is summed up most accurately here but just to continue my thought:

Rick changed the percabeth dynamic so much in HOO that it became almost unrecognisable. I think in the bid to have this whole, everyone is a couple and everyone deserves someone (which boosted Leo’s narrative but was also the cause of great conflict in everyone else’s narrative expect percabeth) he forgot to make them friends. And that was the basis of percabeth. It was the reason percabeth were so godsdamn cute in PJO. Because they were friends who ended up becoming a couple. In HOO they were just a couple. And it sucked out the life of their friendship so that we could only focus on their relationship.

And unfortunately it is Annabeth’s narrative that really brings this home for multiple reasons (all of which we can blame Rick for):

1. This is the first time we got other points of view beside Percy which means everyone’s flaws were much more obvious. Annabeth’s fatal flaw specifically was really played (the entire reason she went on that Mark of Athena quest; why  they landed up in Tartarus). it made focusing on her harder especially because Percy’s Fatal flaw is loyalty so he spent a lot of his narrative focusing on others. this one is mostly my bias as I prefer to have a character’s narrative that also focuses on the happenings of others with the characters personal thoughts. Annabeth was the kind of narrator who focused on herself first. 

2. The entirety of HOO was about relationships. Rick didn’t bother to form any actual friendships with any of the characters (something he was undoubtedly great at in PJO) so when we got to percabeth scenes it was things like: Piper being jealous of them; Percy being worried about them; Annabeth being worried about Percy as a person or herself in her quest; Leo being sad that he was alone; etc. It made liking any of the couples extremely hard.

3. As you (and my other Tumblr babies) may know I don't believe Percy and Annabeth’s fatal flaws work well together. I think Percy is often the one to sacrifice himself and Annabeth sacrifices her wants (material things) and it is not the same. Percy is loyal to Annabeth. But Annabeth’s pride continues to rule her life. For example, if Percy had gotten in the way of Annabeth rebuilding Olympus I fully believe she would have attempted (at the very least) to get rid of him. I don't necessarily mean kill him I just mean he wouldn’t have been in her life. Don’t get me wrong this does not mean she did it or there was even a possibility that she could have. but the reason for that is because Percy is loyal to her. So he wouldn’t have gotten in the way of her dreams. And I think there’s something fundamentally dangerous about sacrificing yourself for someone else’s dreams. If Percy became loyal-to-a-fault towards Annabeth and she then decided to join Luke’s army he would not have stopper her. In fact it’s quite possible he would have joined her. And Annabeth has so much pride for Percy, but her pride-to-a-fault does not lie in people it lies in material things. So she would have gone after her own goals if Percy did not follow. It just seems like it’s luck that they continue to work well together. Percy sacrifices himself. Annabeth sacrifices herself. But only cause their goals align. What happens when they don't?

Please do not make the mistake of thinking I hate percabeth because I don’t. I cannot hate them when those books were the heart and soul of my life for so many years. Percabeth was such a big part of them, to hate the ship, would mean to hate the books and that is absolutely not the case. Annabeth and Percy’s friendships is so important to me. 

TL:DR I love Annabeth she is an absolute badass; I am not a fan of the percabeth dynamic especially in HOO; my bias is present in everything I do. I acknowledge it and try to work to bring all the facts together.
