omgggg anon this is only my favorite topic ever!!! (kidding but also not really 🧡)

i'm a lot like oscar tbh in that i have something of a deadpan stare and usually speak in a monotone but when i DO properly react to something i am veryyy uncontrollably expressive lolol, which i feel like is the same with him and the one million things constantly going on in his face!!! 😭 he definitely has a lot of little quirks / "tics" i guess for lack of better word that i adore so much...

^ first off one of the best ones is the way he always moves his mouth to the side (see also), but i'd say my favorite overall is just his full nose + face scrunch ! as shown in MMMM DEBATABLE and the blind rankings one that i drew earlier t__t and also the 1st gif of this gifset!!! i'm guilty of constantly bunnycoding ojp and that expression is trewwlyyy on top... as well as another quirk that's quite bunnycoded which is whenever he sort of awkwardly grimaces and shows off his teeth idk if you know what i'm talking about 😭

of course another fav has to be his eyebrow raising and just overall eyebrow Mobility, it's so fun because they're very straight and slope downward when his face is resting but they ARCH perfectly when he raises them and he can also do the like 🤨 seth everman look which is iconic 2 me. tbh i like how much he enjoys Squinting at things in general LOL

i've also spoken about how the buzzfeed uk video has such a wealth of oscar facial expressions and imo part of this is the informal and relaxed setting on top of the fact that he was being forced to overthink and react to an inherently silly concept so we get the ultimate combo of CASUALLY EXPRESSIVE OSCAR!!! prema challenges have a similar vibe but imo this is still different because it's fairly removed from a motorsport setting so he's kind of just vibing... another v endearing quirk from this video is his eye twitching / blinking that you can see in a LOT of oscar content, i feel like it's a once you notice you never stop noticing it thing because he does it all the time and i find it really cute because it kind of makes him squinch his cheek too... miss cutieful....... SIMILARLY but also from the buzzfeed video this is one of my favorite examples of how much he (involuntarily imo) WIDENS his eyes (2) when talking or listening to something, here's another moment of him doing it back in f4 so you can see it's a long-ingrained habit.

sorry i'm literally giving you the most random ass deep cuts alkdfshaldsfh but i also remember watching ted's race notebook from miami and noticing oscar talking to a few mclaren employees during the team photo and something i find so endearing about him is when people call his name / try to get his attention and he does the >whips head around and widens his eyes with a polite little smile< thing like AGHHH... qt TT___TT ok i'm going off-topic now but the surprised smile he gave lando during the miami post-race debrief will haunt my memories forever because it was so Open !!!

anyway re: the grimacing he also kind of has a neck tic he does where he stretches his neck out... and i've noticed that he's also just kind of sensitive/particular with his neck in general and is always adjusting his collar where it sits on his skin, which again is off-topic but i find really cute because i can relate (sensitive to textures) hsdafhk.

let me stop talking but last but not least i'm obsessedddd with the way he pouts in the post-quali vid from canada this yr <3 and also his tendency to lick/bite his lips which always does great legwork in terms of the heart eyes piastri narrative and his apparent thirst for lando HKLFDSHLH which while i endorse wholeheartedly is definitely mostly just an unconscious habit of his... but i think rpf is fun so who cares!!! LOL i hope this makes sense idk if i described anything properly 😭🧡

chilchuck cosplay rundown / tutorial! I say tutorial loosely cause I didn't take any progress photos...but hopefully some of this helps someone!

I received a couple messages on instagram about this cosplay so I thought it'd be easier to make a post about it! here's a little rundown for anybody who needs it...!

I only had a week to make this costume so there isn't a ton of actual sewing involved! (I got most of the materials in advance)

the main part's essentially just a big quilt - I used a faux suede fabric (which was a little stretchy, I really don't recommend this but it was the best colour match I could find with my time limit! I think it would've come out a lot smoother using something without stretch!) I used 2 ounce wadding/batting! the process is just measuring a bunch of rectangles, using stick and spray to glue the wadding between the two fabrics, and then sewing along all the lines. time consuming but it's not hard!

I cut the quilt I'd made into two rectangles, essentially you have two blankets - then I measured the neck and armholes based on a tank style dress I owned. if you're a little unsure about this you can make a mockup first before cutting the real thing! then I sewed the shoulders together, now it's just one long blanket with a head hole!

I ended up trimming the sides of the front half before the next bit to help it conform to my body a little better but I had to wear it backwards on the day for reasons I'll explain in a minute T__T

next I sew bias tape down the sides and around the neck hole, I folded the bottom ends and sewed them by hand to hide the stitches. you could probably just use bias around the whole thing but I was low on materials!

the buckles at the sides are literally just watch straps. the original listing I bought from's gone now but I'm pretty sure these are the exact same thing. I bought 16mm and trimmed the ends a little, I attached them using gorilla superglue!

the gloves are these gloves with the fingers cut off, any brown leather gauntlet style glove will do, and the scarf's one I found on vinted. it was a long scarf originally, I zigzag stitched down where I wanted it to end, cut it, then sewed the two ends together. the stitching's a little wonky but you can't really tell when it's folded over!

the belt's from amazon and the pouch is this one from aliexpress - I already had one of these for casual wear, it's a little foraging bag! it folds out into a bigger pouch!

I didn't take photos but the shirt's just one I found on vinted and the jeans are topshop joni jeans I'm pretty sure! the boots are just a pair I found secondhand and hot glued a strip of pleather to!

my wig is this one in chestnut brown, I always use coscraft for wigs they're my favourite! I trimmed it a little shorter and used thinning scissors over the whole wig!

last but not least is the ears. I almost didn't use these and I'm so glad I did! I felt so silly and cute wearing them! I used these ears, but searching "prosthetic big ears" should come up with others if you do a little digging! I don't have any experience with prosthetics aside from a pair of hobbit ears I wore a few years back for halloween but they're not too tricky to apply.

I trimmed the edges down a little and applied my foundation to them, powdered them to seal it and then added a little blush to the tips. I used ben nye prosthetic adhesive to glue them on! glue on my ears and onto the prosthetic ears, let it get tacky then just held them in place until they stuck.

be careful with the adhesive when you're applying it because my sibling accidentally spilled it down my costume... that's why I ended up wearing it backwards on the day...

I was worried I wouldn't be able to hear with them on but it's not too bad! cons are loud anyway and I'm autistic so the slight noise cancelling effect wasn't bad at all!

another piece of advice I'd give is to buy one of these style neck fans, you can buy them on amazon! I wore this during the day underneath my scarf and it helped a lot!

The group I think about most is probably the Kamaty Moon gang (Naib, Anne, Vera, Norton). I've been chipping away at a fic set in that AU for a few months now. They gave me campy found family adventure vibes and I felt like 😭😭 wahghh this is too cute.... I see their dynamic as something like this: Naib is their spiritual leader who's too self-sacrificial for his own good, Anne is the gentle idealist, Norton is the wily "robin hood" that will probably end up betraying someone, and Vera is the token snoot but she's more tolerable when glimpses of Chloe jump out. They're kind of stripped down to fantasy archetypes but ig that's the point. MY SILLIES I got attached T__T

I will be completely honest, Trevor doesn’t really have casual clothes besides his uniforms and his pajamas so it’s really up to my speculation on what his sense in fashion would be like!! I love both of his uniforms though I could say that his intern uniform is better!! Green suits him way more <3 As well for his pajamas, it’s cute and simple T__T i do have a personal hc that prefers to wear shorts because he gets sensory issues wearing pants (basically he’s autistic <3) .

4. Gush about your f/o's interest(s) and how they talk about them

Again, to be honest.. there isn’t much I know about Trevor so it’s up to my speculation <3 canonically he looks into astrology (which I don’t know anything about forgive me T__T) but i think it’ll be so sweet of him to infodump me about it and assign me stuff … However I headcanon him to have a special interest in nature,,, bugs,, and animals (which is one of the reasons why I prefer his green uniform more—) I also think he would have some sort of antfarm or something similar as a kid and would tell me his memories with bugs as well in infodumping with some facts u__u When it comes to his interest in nature,,, he would ask me out to go hiking or have a walk in the forest and just look around :))

Leon and Ada high school AU fic? Or ideas about what you think they'd be like as high school teenagers.

i'm currently working on an au!!! i'll post a moodboard kinda showing it off in a sec!!! hehe

i'm not a huge fan of writing teen au's only because i tend to write smut in my fics and i won't write any under aged characters. they would be cute for fluff though! (also because their 3 year age gap would not be an issue after when they're in their twenties but weird if they're both in high school T__T since ada could be a senior while leon's still a freshman or something) so let's ignore that lol (maybe this could work though since leon isn't aware that she's a senior or something until someone tells him)

I usually help them with a new idea and with the writing if they're understanding. When I was like 10-15 I wrote in a very graphic and violent way which I lost when I was writing fanfiction because I have limits when it comes to real humans :/ but now that i have made my own characters, I've managed to let lose and found back to the old style, especially with the cynical playhouse!!!

I love how they have contrasting ideals for how to design, how they challenged each other but both high respect each other's works (Mei saving Melissa's suit while endangering herself was SO CUTE). Melissa is born and bred in a super high class high tech sci fi island with the best education, while Mei looks like she grew up shoving random junk together in a garage. I love the potential of two polar opposite genius STEM girlies.

ShojiKoda BECAUSE OF KODA HAVING A FLASHBACK OF HIS MOM SAYING THAT HER HUSBAND DID THE SAME THING FOR HER??? HELLO??? WHY HAS NO ONE PICKED THIS UP??? How Koda summoned all his courage to protect and defend Shoji during the final war, and looking up to him is just so so sweet and I think Shoji would adore someone as kind and caring as Koda to be by his side T__T. TsukaToshi from reading Vigilantes because this detective is one of the few people who witnesses firsthand how All Might and Toshinori changes and grows throughout the whole series. How they have secret lunch dates together, sharing personal and government secrets, exchanging souvenir gifts, all while being their happiest and natural real selves- not a superhero or a detective just friends. Additionally Toshi admitted that hearing Naomasa call to him felt more personal, further driving him to save them??? Always side-by-side but never quite having the time just yet to settle down, but after the war they could finally relax more and maybe be happy together??? Come ON that's some good old man yaoi material right there!!!

HawksTwice purely for angst, not necessarily romantic. Twice was the friendliest and happiest guy in the LoV. I really believe that Hawks started to develop feelings for the LoV with how close and free they are together. Him being especially close to Twice because he saw through his mask of being a "chill and free guy", instead being someone trapped in a cage. Hawks seeking comfort with someone so "weird" but also so openly caring. These two also being direct parallels to tgck, Ochako choosing to understand and save Himiko while Hawks chose to kill Twice because its all he knew at the time...oh the peak tragedy of what could have been.

Not really rarepairs, but old stuff I used to ship too since I'm a massive multishipper:

I was a big Todomomo fan because my younger bisexual heart found them so cute and pretty together. I saw a lot of myself in Momo when I was younger and Shoto believing in Momo made me so so giddy! I also liked Inatodo too because it was hilarious from just how much they contrasted each other.

Like firesign I was lowkey a kacchako stan too because of how they challenged each other. Their fight was genuinely life changing to me as a kid, and I still love it to this day. I do personally see Kats as homosexual tho, but him leaning in different ways is also cool to me.

Krbk being into each other but never properly dating, Rodydeku LDR after movie 3, Shoto having a crush on Izuku, Jiro being confused abt both Momo and Denki, and other little silly things like these are also really fun to me.

Miritama and Erasermic are also my comfort ships because...they're basically almost canon to me atp even if they technically aren't. Like, yeah these guys have loved each other for a long time now. They're always together in their biggest highs and lows. They make out, share an apartment , and think about each other all the time. It's developed, beautiful, and natural I love it.

The last ask you got made me curious! I obviously know (or at least have a decent sense of) the main MHA ships of yours from ISYH. But I want to know: what are your *rare* MHA ships? Who do you ship that you don't see many other people shipping?

Writing it made me enjoy Nejire x Ochako quite a lot but there is virtually nothing out there pairing them - to be honest, in AUs where Himiko doesn’t exist (weep, howl, rage at the moon) I can get behind most people x Ochako (I just want my girl to be happy). For yuri Mina and her make heaps of sense (and much as it’s not a rare pair I’m also a bit of a kacchako stan 🫣).

Like you and I were discussing kinda liking Izuku x Kendo’s dynamic too, even if it’s barely in my fic. Momo x Kendo are also fun, but is that a proper rare pair? 🤔

My lil one shot loml (which is probably going to become more than a one shot) has Tsu x Kinori and they are cottagecore perfection 🥰

The translation is something like this:

The whole lyrics are dedicated to the friends to lovers trope, with things like "guide me in the darkness" and "with you I never feel alone" that reminds me of lumicia instantly and I had to draw something for them.
