if he thinks hard enough, izuku midoriya can remember the exact moment he realised his best friend had fallen in love with you.

you'd gone from being a new addition to their little friend group to you guys being so tight knit that people automatically associated you all together, if one was around—the other two were always expected nearby, a little trio.

sure, izuku never wanted anybody to feel left out, but you and kacchan were his best friends forever. you all had sleep overs at katsuki's house and went out for ice cream, visit for birthdays and stay up late to watch tv and tell scary stories under the covers. katsuki always pulled mean little pranks afterwards which would always scare the pants off of izuku, you always reassured him though, saying katsuki was being stupid. he thought that it was really cool how you never seemed to get scared until he noticed how you'd jump sometimes, but he found you even cooler.

you were best friends forever, shown by the cool woven bracelets you'd gotten for your friends when you came back from a beach vacation with your family. kacchan had complained the entire time you were gone, calling everything boring without you, but he never said a word about it when you got back and smacked izuku on the arm hard when he'd tried to tell you how much they'd both missed you.

izuku had managed to rip his gaze off his bracelet, woven with green and shades of blue that matched the sea to look up at his friend to ask how he felt about his gift. katsuki's had hints of orange, reds and vibrant pinks and he didn't complain about it even though he always said it was a girl colour. red eyes like his bracelet fixed onto his arm.

"look and yours kinda looks like it has flames on it, see ? like your explosions !" you explained excitedly, and izuku couldn't help getting excited too. your humour was always contagious. "oh yeah, i see it !" he agreed and you look over at him to nod in approval, obviously proud of your choice. and izuku realised then that the blonde still hadn't said one word.

you didn't seem to mind though, still too excited from your trip and izuku's reaction to his gift. you stuck your arm against katsuki's and grabbed izuku's so he could stick it to his, all your multicoloured bracelets coming together to form a mess of jumbled up colours "see, now we all match !" you exclaimed.

katsuki's cheeks were pink, stained and blotchy even through the worn out little bandaid stuck to his cheek. and all he could manage then was a nod, katsuki who you'd always call a big mouth was speechless and just nodded. izuku thought that was really weird

"i like it." he mumbled out quietly, obviously realising that you were now both awaiting an answer from him "we match," he repeated "but mines cooler." he finished off, crossing his arms and huffing to the sky proudly. and you burst out laughing, little giggles spill out and you break out into a laugh as you lean onto izuku. he can't help himself from laughing either. katsuki tries, really does, but he ends up laughing a bit too, nudging at your leg with his foot when you call him a big mouth.

and for the entire rest of the day, kacchan had found some excuse or other to drag you around and hold your hand, saying something about how you'd get lost since you were gone for so long, izuku thought that was weird too since you were only gone too weeks, but he quickly forgot about it. it was still hot when you got back, so you went for ice cream with money miss mitsuki had given you all to celebrate your return, and had gone to your (not so) secret spot by the river bank to laze around after your bellies were full.

the wind breezed through his clothes as izuku remembered the taste of his two scoops on his tongue, sighing and feeling himself getting sleepy. he hears you and kacchan talking.

he's talking about how your bracelet looks more like his, so you two match more. "that means you gotta stay with me forever so . . don't leave again." he mumbles, izuku hears the tugging and pulling of grass roots "was boring without you here." before he quickly catches himself with an "that's what izuku said." and the green haired boy answered with a sleepy "uhuh . . " that makes you giggle.

"i can ask my mom if you and izuku can come next time !" you chirp excitedly and you've always been contagious, so izuku responds again with a sleepy "yaaay . ." that makes you laugh.

when school started back up, katsuki had been quick to rip off his jacket and show off his bracelet to your friends, shown off by the short sleeved t-shirt he was wearing. always proud to answer the question of where'd gotten his cool new bracelet with a loud "yn got it for me from when she went on her trip, i bet she didn't get you anything !"

always proud and showing off was a kacchan that izuku knew all too well. but it was always about himself, never about others. and yet here he was showing off your gift to anybody who would listen because you were best friends. izuku thinks he truly realised, not then, but during lunch break when kacchan had pushed a boy to the ground because he'd made fun of his bracelet and called it girly.

"not true !" he'd yelled "you're just mad 'cus yn didn't get you nothin' and she likes me more then you. i bet you're just jealous 'cus she hates you, she told me you stink !"

and that's when he knew. because all three of you were always together and izuku had never ever heard you say that. but it seemed that to katsuki, being hated by you was the worst thing imaginable.

and that's when he knew.

and to him it was only natural for katsuki, one of the coolest people he knew, to have a crush on the other coolest person he knew. but when he'd asked kacchan about it after school, he'd punched him in the shoulder and told him "n-no ! shut up, quit talking stupid !" even as his cheeks turned beet red and he trudged off to go grab his backpack.

there was no doubt about it, you had a crush on each other.

izuku knows it, he knows you both know it. so why don't you do anything about it ?! it's sorta been driving him crazy.

he sees it all. sure, him and kacchan don't actually hang out anymore, but you and izuku still hang out and he sees them. the looks, the almost touches and the teasing and the shoulder nudges and—seriously, does nobody else see this ?!

but he'll keep quiet, he won't force you to do anything, he'll let you both take your time. but it seems the blond has been getting more and more impatient with himself.

"hey, nerd." izuku jumps despite himself at the rough voice from above him, looking up and quickly hiding his notebook from his ex-childhood friend.

"k-kacchan, hey ! didn't expect to see you here, heh . ." he trails off, eyes darting to the side. and izuku really hadn't expected to see him, kacchan wasn't the type to stay after class, always ready to walk you home when school was out. he feels his hands shaking and clenches onto his uniform pants. katsuki ignores the boy's attempt at friendly conversation, scoffing.

"what's your deal, huh ?" uh oh, izuku panics—what had he done ? he doesn't remember doing anything to anger him.

"i don't know what you're talking about, ka—"

a hand slams against his desk, startling the green haired boy and he almost jumps out of his skin.

"don't fuck with me ! y'know good and goddamn well what i'm talking about."

"but i—"

and then your name gets brought up "ya keep fuckin' staring at her all the time. what, you like her or something ?"

wait, what.

"huh ?"

"don't huh me," katsuki copies with a nasally voice "s'bad enough she wants to hang with you all the time, now you want more ?!"

oh, wait.

"just so you know, she doesn't like the nerdy type so you can go ahead and—" katsuki cuts himself off when he sees izuku smile, a smile he in his mind can only imagine as a smug one, so he scowls " quit makin' that creepy fuckin' face at me, weirdo ! i'll tell you right now—you haven't won and i damn sure won't lose ! never to a nerd like you, you got that ?!" he declared, before stomping out of the classroom.

izuku despite the obvious declaration of war he has no want to be part in, can't help but smile. "you've got nothing to worry about." he mutters to himself.

it'll be fine, he'll let you take your time—he has a feeling it won't be for much longer anyway.

"good morning, yn."

"hi, izuku."

you insist on not looking him in the eye when you speak, and izuku who's known you for years by now, immediately knew something was up.

you're here early, the common room is empty beside you and him right now "how'd you sleep ?" you ask, sipping on some juice. izuku hums, fixing his tie for class, you beckon him over and lean over to fix it for him which he thanks you for with an added shy chuckle.

and it's quiet.

izuku takes a spot next to you, "you know, you can talk to me about anything right ? i don't wanna assume but you look a bit bothered by something." your best friend smiles warmly at you when you make eye contact "i'm here if you need anything."

you squirm in your seat and then finally you spit your next sentence out at super speed "katsuki and i have liked each other for a while now and he asked me out and i said yes !"

"I KNEW IT!" the green haired's exclamation knocks you back and he flies up from his seat, he smiles down at you victoriously like he'd just defeated a villain.

"i knew you guys had been acting different, it was just too obvious ! always looking at each other for long periods of time—and sneaking off and standing so close to each other, it all makes sense !" and you're struck absolutely silent, he rambled and rambled on like he was taking notes for his hero notebook—seriously, how much did he know ?!

"w-wait but—you knew that we liked each other ?" you ask. izuku sits back down, even clears his throat after his little outburst, and smiles at you.

"oh yeah, i've known that for a while now !"

". . how long is a while ?"

". . a couple years."

"oh." you conclude. "i'm sorry i never told you, zuku . .s'just that i know that you and katsu's relationship was . . more than a bit strained so . ."

izuku immediately frown in shock "what, no it's not—you shouldn't have to apologise ! that was between kacchan and i so—" and he stops in his tracks "is that why it took you guys so long to . ."

now you're cutting him off "no, no that's not it ! i just never really had the courage to say anything !" you shyly rub at your glass "and honestly, i had no idea he even liked me like that . ."

surely you had to be messing with him. izuku sweatdrops at you without a word.

"well anyway, i'm glad you too are happy, truly." he utters sincerely. you smile back at him with a giggle and your humour's always been contagious, so he laughs along with you.

and when he sees you and kacchan walking to class holding hands he can't help but throw up a victorious fist up, leaving his friends a little bit confused.

(afterwards during training with katsuki, he wishes him a playful congratulations on winning, the blonde proceeding to punch his arm hard and izuku couldn't help but laugh. until katsuki chucked his water bottle at him.)

it can be so frustrating.

To wait for years for your ship to happen. To have a section of your own community actively hate one of your favourite characters, to call them an abuser, to hate the relationship you love with all of your heart, and to constantly claim the other character would be better off with literally anyone else.

And you wait, for the very final episode, the last chance for them to open their bruised, battered hearts to each other, to reveal themselves, to get that romantic final kiss. To get a promise of a forever, or even just a promise of a tomorrow, together.

And then. To instead get, "Can I come with you?" and then for the response to be, "I'd love that, but not yet."

To get, "I think I need you to be thoughtful about it. I think that's what I would ask, is take some time and be thoughtful... This is a thing I do not what you to jump into, even if it's just casual fucking around."

To get a possible vision of regular visits, and adventures together, but also time apart, time spent doing their own things, alone and with others. For it to be still undefined, still not sure if they are friends, or friends with benefits, or...

It can be frustrating, not to get the romantic ending. The shiny, golden ending you can hold up and show to others, and say, "See? It was a long hard road, but they are happy and in love and together."

The ending you can hold close to your chest, while you grieve the fact that it's over, to give yourself comfort, knowing that they are happy, together, loved.

But instead, my friends, instead. We got endless possibilities.

I give you roosting.

Ghost likes it because pack behaviors. Price likes it for the "ah yes, these ones are mine, now they smell like me" thing. They're inclined to to upside down things but will settle for being in the same room, taking a nap or just hanging out.

BUT I ALSO RAISE YOU

Wing blanket/wing fan. Wrapping up in their wings when it's a bit chilly and fanning their wings when it's too hot.

Kyle would be the biggest ambassador of wing blankets — that’s why he sleeps on top of these guys because he’s like “these are mine, gotta cover these so they are safe” and the pack is like “Kyle your wings and you for that matter are heavy AS FUCK, get OFF, brother” and he’s like “no:)”

But yeah both Price and Simon are big fans of having the whole pack in one place and close to them, because it just feels safer to them and it scratches the primal part of their brains the right way.

I also headcanon Simon to be someone who’s a big fan of laying together and cuddling, his hands wrapped tightly around the mate, nose pressed to their neck, lazy bites here and there. It’s comfortable, it’s warm, they smell like him afterwards.

I’d even go as far to say that he and Price have kind of shifts so the pack smells like one of them at all times. Kind of like mark on them that these are taken, these guys have pack and have mates “do NOT touch”

Also when it comes to them, they just plop himself down which means that usually Kyle will plop himself on top of one of them. Which means Soap is coming with Reader in tow cause it’s time to scent the these two big boys (*happy dance*).

Soap is gonna bite affectionately, a little too much saliva but Price would never complain. Reader’s way to show affection would be nuzzling and grooming.

Ghost is gonna be the main recipient because I’m sorry but constant mask on does nothing good for his skin.

Reader can sense it.

Hind part of their brain says that badly groomed mate means they are not taking care of mate means mate might eat less. Ghost is just happy to be there regardless of bat shenanigans but he is sometimes protesting just for the sake of it.

“Luv, im clean”

“Mhm”, doesn’t even stop their grooming, thin claws working through his fur where they can reach.

“Luv, come on”

“Uh-uh”, just keeps going with Simon’s head in their lap. His tail is wagging, he’s sleepy and comfortable and he knows that mate is also comfortable because they melt into him. Ghost is a walking furnace and bats huddle together for warmth because they lose heat easily and he will never admit but he fucking loves when they do it.

Shows that they know he’s safe, that he’s part of their group, that even primal part of them thinks of him as of family.

Valentines with katsuki ❦︎

"This is so stupid” katsuki says while actively looking for a bouquet of your favorite flowers.

“Umm... Are you not the one who wanted to do this?" kirishima asks while pushing the cart full of chocolates, Teddy bears, sweaters, hygiene products Katsuki knows you love, and plenty of other unnecessarily expensive gifts for his lady.

"So what? 1 can't find any of those damn flowers she likes...” katsuki says while carefully eyeing an the different colorful displays of roses, Lillies, poppies, etc.

"Why don't you just make her some paper flowers? That way they're more special and they last forever ya know?” kirishimas idea was genius', and really cute too... But of course katsuki thinks other wise.

"That’s stupid I'm not doing that.”

He does it.

Katsuki is currently in his room making a very Lange bouquet of your favorite flowers. He's been at it for hours making sure each and every flower is perfect.

After he's done playing arts and crafts he makes a very sweet card for you, pouring out all of his genuine emotions for you.

He sets up the valentine basket, it's filled with the previously mentioned products he bought at The store with kinishima

He also added a pretty ring and necklace he got custom made for you.

On February 14th, valentines day, katsuki is being surprisingly sweet to you.

He's taken you out to dinner, and brunch and hasn't uttered the words "idiot" on "shut up today, not once! (New record.)

Towards the end of the night you two head back to his apartment.

"Hurry your ups up, I don't have all day ya know." (and there that record goes.) "I'm coming, I'm coming."

When inside he lea you to the living room, where on the small coffee table is a cater well put together valentines basket..

'"Oh! What's this?" you ask while excitedly going over to explore the contents of the basket.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, feigning annoyance. “what does it look like?" he goes over to stand beside you. "You like it??”! He asks.

You look at all of the thoughtful gifts inside. “yeah, I love it. The flowers are my favorite part."

Katsuki lets out a huff of relief “ yeah...i made them out of paper so they'll last forever… or something.” God he's so embarrassed right now.

You let out a small laugh at his embarrassment. "Yeah! Like us."

He lets out a scoff. "You're so cringe. happy valentines day, dork.”

i need to know more about your feelings of tf2 comic 7 because youre the heavymedic expert

I liked it! Satisfying happy conclusion for (almost) everyone, especially since I was a little worried they were going to kill everyone off, haha. Not a lot of Heavymedic stuff in there but I wasn't expecting much, and really it was about the Administrator and her story, so it makes sense the mercs wouldn't really take top billing for it.

There were a few cute things though! I know "standing next to each other" is like the most graspingest of straws but you know what, it made me smile each time so I don't care.

The big thing of course being Heavy grabbing his boob, which to me reads like him stopping Medic from trying to help the Admin, which I think is sweet in his own way. Medic has his healing instincts!

Medic also puts his hand on his back as they walk away, which I also think is sweet. It looks like he's comforting him.

I really loved the ending sequence where everyone gets together for that dinner party. It's just such a great bookend to how the comics started - initially when their team disbanded, everyone split off and did their own thing. Some of them didn't even keep track of where the others were! A few kept in contact, but mostly all of them just left the others and they didn't seem particularly concerned or interested in each other.

Compare that to them at the end of the comic! Seven years after everything that happened, they're all meeting up together for dinner! Voluntarily! They're introducing their families to each other! They don't have any contracts or jobs forcing them to spend time together. They WANT to have dinner together. SPY TAKES OFF HIS MASK AND IS FINE WITH IT! I just love that so much. They care about and trust each other after everything that's happened, all the years that have gone by. Team as family was CANON AFTER ALL

I think this whole sequence also sheds a nice light on Medic! Medic's been perceived as probably the most uncaring of the group, given that he did sign up with another team for the money and said he wouldn't mind fighting them again (although not too soon after that he ended up saving all their lives against direct orders). A lot of people interpreted that as him not really caring about the others or anything at all, but that's not the case!

Medic kept and raised his baboon baby! He didn't abandon it or use it for parts or anything, he kept and raised it for seven years! Responsibility!

Not only that, Medic hasn't abandoned his friends, signed up with a new team, forgotten them or tossed them aside. He's with them at the dinner! He comes with his baboon baby! He wants to be with them too! He cares about them, genuinely. And of course, the final shot is with him by Heavy's side, both of them just so happy to be there with everyone else.

Love that Medic's smile still looks unhinged too lol. Would I have loved Heavy holding onto Medic's waist? The two of them wearing matching rings? Of course! But them so close to each other and an obvious irrefutable confirmation that Medic loves and cares about his team and wants to be with them is really lovely. Makes me feel fuzzy, haha.

There's speculation too that Medic came with Heavy's family as that person in the back there but who can say for sure. |D

As if today couldn't get any weirder...

For a moment, you had almost believed it was fortune. You made it to work on time despite the snow, your shift manager let you take the afternoon off, even your customers were feeling generous- your tip jar was almost to the brim.

And then it got weird.

"Jamil, look! See how cute these cookies are? It's like they're dressed up for the new year!"

That sparkly ray of sunshine has had his hands and nose pressed against the glass of the pastry case all morning. He's dressed in a Night Raven College uniform, but you can't imagine what someone so cute would be wearing it for.

"I just can't decide what to get! Everything looks so good!"

On the contrary, the taller, quieter, tired-looking boy, the one called Jamil, standing by the door, suited his uniform quite nicely.

"I'm sure the Prefect will be pleased with whatever you choose for them, Kalim. We're going to be late,"

He narrows his eyes. "I'll be kept busy enough by the party,"

You finish wiping down the case, having shamelessly eavesdropped on the entire conversation. "May I make a pastry suggestion?"

"Please, please do. And thank you..." his eyes dart down to the nametag on your apron. "Y/N."

"You guys know each other? Oh! I see," Kalim grins.

The silence is almost worst than the bickering. You and Jamil (perfect strangers, by the way) exchange similar expressions of surprise, while Kalim grins, waiting to be introduced, or... something.

You open your mouth, but before you can explain yourself or the rather presumptuous affair, Jamil nods.

"Yes. This is them,"

He gives you a look that either says "please go along with it" or "I will make you go along with it" but you're too shocked to speak, anyway.

Kalim giggles. "This is perfect! Now I won't have to worry about you being lonely at the party. Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"I didn't want to take away the attention from yourself and the Prefect," Jamil says, dryly, crossing his arms.

Kalim either doesn't notice his tone, or he ignores it.

"Aw, you guys don't have to worry about that! Here, I'll have one of those, and those... that date pastry for Jamil, and... here!"

He takes out a roll of thaumarks thicker than your hand and forces it into your tip jar.

Jamil's eyes widen with panic. "Kalim-"

"I want to make a good first impression!" he says, and then to you: "I can't wait to see you at the party!"

You finish bagging his pastries, shellshocked, and watch him skip out of the coffee shop like a little kid.

Jamil lingers, seemingly unbothered, and yet apologetic all the same.

"Sorry I dragged you into this, he's been begging for a double date all week. I'll tell him you're sick when the party comes around,"

He turns to leave. Your eyes dart between the tip jar, him, the boy outside, him, your coffee-stained hands, and him once more.

"Wait!"

Jamil stops, one hand on the door, and looks over his shoulder.

You try to stop yourself, but the words spill out of your lips anyway. "What time?"

You had never been inside Night Raven College, but the very last thing you were expecting it to be, anyhow, was warm.

You'd dressed in something thick and wooly for the winter weather, and now you're sweating, there's sand stuck under your nails and cool drinks are being passed from hand to hand.

"You're dressed like a penguin," Jamil whispers, holding you by the wrist and pulling you towards a closet, lined with gold and stuffed with coats and shoes from the partygoers.

"I didn't know it'd be hot!"

Jamil closes the door. "I suppose that was an oversight on my part. But I can't have you afflicted with heatstroke- not under my care, at least. Take off the coat,"

You do as he says. You've learned very little about Jamil over the evening, but he seems to know what he's doing.

"Better, but you're drenched in sweat. I'm sure we have dorm uniforms in your size somewhere..."

A loud, raucous noise that you can only assume was a cheer comes from beyond the door. You're not so sure you want to know.

Jamil notices the look on your face. "Too loud?"

"It's a little... much,"

He scoffs, though there's a smile on his lips, now. "That's one way of putting it, I suppose,"

He begins moving coats and shoes, boxes and chests, looking for something to cool you off. You sit on the floor behind him.

"I apologize again. For making you a part of this. I... didn't think you'd actually come," he says, facing away from you.

"I don't mind. I didn't have any plans for the holiday, anyway,"

Jamil makes a noise of acknowledgement, but, no words. You suppose he's trying to figure you out as much as you are him.

"...Ahem. Well, I'm... pleased to have you here. As much as it hurts to admit Kalim was right about one thing, I did need company today,"

"It's no problem,"

"It's some problem," Jamil scoffs, but he's smiling, too. "You'll have a headache for days after this."

"Then it'll be worth it,"

He seems to give up on finding a uniform, or perhaps he's just forgotten about it altogether, and he sits next to you.

You tilt your head to the side, a smile playing at your lips.

"I think Kalim was right about two things, actually,"

Jamil looks at you as if you'd hit your head on something and started speaking in tongues. "And what is that?"

You point up towards the heavens, or, rather, towards the ceiling of the closet, where a mistletoe has been poorly strung up.

"You should enjoy yourself, too,"

Jamil's eyes widen, but before he can ask who put that thing up there?! your kiss is on his cheek and his stoic demeanor is gone.

"Eh- what was that for?"

You could laugh at his expression, but you don't want to rub it in his bewildered face. Rather, you gently nudge his side.

"For being so kind,"

"Kind?" Jamil repeats the word as if he'd never heard it before. "I would hardly call myself that. I'm only... repaying the favor for your kindness."

You smile.

"I guess I'll just have to keep being nice to you, then,"

TADC AU: Skater Gangle Universe

Cast:

Gangle: Kind of a jaded, yet friendly tomboy punk, she's more like Zooble in this Universe, kind of passive aggressive with a bit of an edge, but she kills it on the board, shredding everything in the circus, adventures included. Caine is secretly impressed, and Zooble is infatuated with Gangle, always doing doodles of her and the other cast members. Gangle is pretty bold, not taking any of Jax's junk, often calling out his pranks before he can pull them on her, often breaking it with her board, due to being fed up with Jax(Caine often snaps her board back to normal with no problem). Often Gangle spends her free time in her room designing boards. She's also great at surfing and snowboarding. She sticks up for herself and what she knows as right, taking on an honest outlook on the circus, knowing she's trapped and enjoying it.

Pomni: A new arrival to the circus, she pops into the circus with her Jester outfit, trying to enjoy the adventures. In this Universe, Pomni has a knack for telling really lame jokes as a way to deal with the fact she can't find the exit. Cringeworthy dad puns which get on Jax's nerves such as "What wears shoes, but has no feet? The pavement." (Haahahahahahaha). Constantly laughing at her own jokes, she lives up to being the Jester, constantly cackling and giggling at even a semblance of humor. Everybody treats Pomni kind of like the crazy one, as Pomni sort of acts like Kinger, laughing maniacally at times and speaking of nonsense due to occasional memory lapses.

Kinger: in this Universe, Kinger is intact mind wise, and loves to spend time with the others. Sad over Queenie's death, he commits to helping the others in her honor, being like a group father and uplifting everyone while sharing trivia and fun facts. He and Ragatha immediately take Pomni as if they're both Aunt and Uncle, looking after her as if she was her niece. Ragatha is super cuddly, especially with Jax.

Zooble: Shy and Sweet, sort of swapping personalities with Gangle, Zooble is timid, shy, and very agreeable. Often letting Jax Jax play with her parts and throw them around until he gets bored, Zooble kinda just plays along to the adventures and goes with the flow, often indifferent to Jax's antics in order to get him to stop in a more subtle way. She's always lending a hand because she has so many to spare, sensitive, easily upset by others.

Ragatha: Kind, gentle, and devoted, Ragatha in this universe is about the same as the digital circus Ragatha, with one exception. She is more openly loving towards all members of the cast more than she was before, always putting her heart foot forward to provide them with her love with Kinger being like an uncle to Her Ragatha and him working together to be the group mom and dad so nobody is left behind, which annoys Gangle slightly(but reluctantly agreees), but Zoobie and Pomni are happy that there is a group. Ragatha and Jax are close.

Jax: Jax is mostly the same character we all know and love/hate, but with a slight twist. Instead of being a jerk and purposely hurting others for fun, Jax in this AU prefers to pull harmless pranks instead, and go soft on others, especially Ragatha, whom he had a HEALTHY relationship with(too much abusive relationship posting with bunnydoll shippers).

TADC AU: Shredding Mask

"I wish she would shred me..." Thought Zooble, as she stared in awe as Gangle boldly skates and slides on a railing and around the tent, lots of sparks trailing behind, leaving Zooble in awe.

Gangle sees Zooble watching and gives her a wink, and Zooble falls backwards fainting, all her interchangeable limbs falling apart when she falls on the ground. "Gosh, I hope she skates holding my head next time, mmm, yes~" Says Zooble, blissing out getting to see Gangle do tricks yet again.

Jax walks up, "Well, well, I guess somebody really broke down, huh? You and Gangle should get a room already."

Zooble is too focused on Gangle to even hear Jax, which he shrugs his shoulders at.

Ragatha then walks up, helping Zooble get back together, Jax assists Ragatha and soon she's back together but easily dazed. If she had a nose, it would be bleeding.

"Golly..." Muttered Zooble as she was still dazed by Gangle.

Ragatha chuckles, " Come on Jax, let's give our friend with a crush some space."

"Whatever you say, dollface. " Says Jax as they glance toward each other in their own flirtatious way, happy to be with each other as they give Zooble some space.

Pomni and Kinger are watching all of this go down.

"So, they're like, in love?"

"HA-Well, I suppose that could be the case for Zooble. Maybe Gangle hasn't fully noticed yet."

"Oh Gosh, it's one sided?!"

"Ha-Don't worry, word will get around fast. I remember when Jax was trying to tell Ragatha how he felt. It was the same old story, but Ragatha's certainly no Tomboy like Gangle."

"The Skater Punk and Bashful Artist, I think there's potential..."

Gangle rolls over and does a circle around Zooble, to which Zooble watches quietly.

"Hi Gangle"

Gangle stops, and kicks up her board in her hand, somewhat huffy from her workout. "Yeah, What up, Potato Head?"

"You think I'm a...potato~?" Zooble blushes intensely.

Gangle, slightly weirded out, responds: "It's a joke, but whatever."

"You're funny... you know that?" Zooble says in a wistful sort of way.

Gangle found Zooble's statement kinda odd, but didn't dislike her or anything, so she walks over and helps her up.

"So uh, did you draw anything cool?"

Zooble gets giddy and excited hearing her say that, but then tries to play it cool so she doesn't freak Gangle out.

"Yeah-Oh, uh, yeah, yeeeah...feel free to check it out or whatever."

Zooble gives Gangle her notebook, and Gangle looks through it, finding a bunch of pictures of her skateboarding.

"Wow, these are really good. I look awesome. Thanks Zooble."

Zooble blushes doing her cute signature hand wave(Ep. 4): "Ohoho, it was nothing, I like drawing you. You're so inspirin-" Zooble tries to stop talking, embarrassed she unveiled so much about her feelings gushing.

Gangle was touched as she looked through more of the album, realizing half of the pictures were of her, so she turns to Zooble, and uses a softer tone as she didn't realize how much Zooble noticed and cared about her until now.

"Zooble, I...am really happy you drew these pictures of me. You're a very talented artist."

"I am?" Says Zooble, flustered by Gangle's sudden complement.

"Yeah, I reeeally like it." Says Gangle, as she gazes at Zooble.

Zooble sees Gangle's pupils dilating as she gazes, and she gazes back.

"Gangle..." Says Zooble as she stares, "I...always wanted to tell you..."

"No need," retorted Gangle, "I already know."

They walk over to each other and share a long heartfelt hug.

Pomni and Kinger are still secretly watching from behind a corner.

"Ha-they're a total item now."

"Yeah...It's so adorable..."

Could you share more about your modern no loops au?

Oh, I'd love to!!!! So I have a 10k word draft currently. Haven't touched it since December because I've been writing other things, but I'd like to return to it when I'm done. I didn't actually know what I was writing until I started. I decided to go for the first line I could think of, which was:

So I had to build an AU off of that from that point onward.

It's a bit of a "post-canon" setting in a sense, except neither Siffrin nor Loop have met the party yet, and the two live together in an apartment. At some point, Loop's attacked, and they begin to bleed out in an alleyway. Odile catches sight of them and rushes to help. They appreciate her efforts, but they die anyway.

They've died plenty of times before though...! So they wake back up. They still have the stranger's coat from when she was trying to help, so they hide within it and head back home, feeling bad for having likely traumatized a random person with the sight of them dying.

A few months go by after this though, and Odile stumbles upon Loop at the library. Loop doesn't recognize her at first, but Odile recognizes THEM, and proceeds to accidentally corner them which freaks Loop out.

Odile, a complete stranger, instantly wants to know everything about Loop. How their life has gone, how they're alive, etc. So Loop decides that they DON'T LIKE ODILE, but that they'll at least find the time to bring her coat back to her to repay the favour of when they had died.

After Loop returns home, Siffrin reveals to Loop that he's... worried about them. Loop's been entirely dependent on him the entire time, and he thinks that they should have friends. Loop denies needing anyone but them, all the while struggling with bottled up trauma they want to talk about but are unwilling to go to Siffrin for.

This sticks to Loop though. Next time they see Odile at the library, they get to talk to her now a bit less freaked out, and return her coat to her. (This isn't art directly of the fic but I did draw this after writing Loop returning the coat). She reveals some of her curiosities about Loop, and although Loop still doesn't want to answer, they're curious what she means by the word "explore."

Loop makes a bit of a mistake though. They accidentally give Siffrin the impression that they're friends with Odile now, and Siffrin's happy for them!

Loop doesn't want to correct them though, so instead accidentally snaps at them for pestering them for the details on this totally real friendship.

There's a lot of hints scattered throughout the fic of Loop having very bad trauma. A large star-shaped scar on their chest. Implications that they're very familiar with Siffrin's blood. Having nightmares and waking up feeling like they have to kill Siffrin. Being so used to panicking whenever they wake up without Siffrin being there that they already know how to try and calm themself down.

I haven't gotten to writing the interview itself yet, but I want for Loop and Odile to actually start to become friends. I want for Loop to finally agree to an interview. And perhaps in an Interview with the Vampire (2022) style of things, start off completely contradictory and rewrite how it all started based on their own outbursts of emotions. Odile would catch onto this though, and get them to stick to the truth or not answer at all.

And thus, through much trial and error, Loop would eventually tell the story of meeting King. A nice man who Loop had once been friends with (it takes a LOT to pry that out of Loop), before they were ever Loop, but rather Siffrin. Loop would talk about how they had grown close over being from the same forgotten country, but that they'd come to learn that King had... other motives in wanting to get close to another Islander.

King had been studying something called Wish Craft.

King wanted to immortalize the Island's memory. Or at least, the memory that something existed from it. Perhaps somehow, some way, King could use Wish Craft to make things right again.

So what better way to try than to immortalize Loop?

Loop was betrayed and made to be a personal test subject. They weren't the first person to be a test subject, but they were the first success to survive it. Loop died very frequently those days, and after a long enough time, they reached a breaking point. They didn't want to suffer alone!! They wanted company!!! They wanted Help!!!!

Which tore Loop's strength out of them to create Siffrin.

Loop cannot regret Siffrin. But they regretted it at the time, as the experiments... lessened... on Loop, while the focus instead shifted onto Siffrin. The two were all each other had, so it pained Loop to have their burden fall onto him. Another regret was that Loop had become significantly weaker after Siffrin came to be, giving them less of a chance to fight back and escape. Loop was very protective of Siffrin, all the while wondering if they should just permanently kill him to get their strength back and escape. Towards the end, they almost went through with it.

They didn't though. The two eventually escaped together, sticking close to each other and occasionally moving from town to town while keeping their past secret.

I imagine that Loop will need... a lot of time and effort to tell Odile about all that though. They're very hesitant to even tell her that Siffrin exists, still wary about trusting her.

So between interviews, Loop and Odile just hang out, and Loop will come home to Siffrin who continues to live his own life. Loop will find themself healing just as Siffrin manages to.

If I do finish this fic, I would like for Loop and Siffrin to wind up friends with the whole party in it.

You can think they're toxic as much as you want, have you ever been around old married couples? They rag on each other all day and beneath all the slander and teasing there is smiles and tiny motions of love between them like maybe making a sandwich for their partner or putting their dirty socks away. Something so domesticated it's part of a routine with years spent together. Knowing someone so damn intimately for such a long time.

It's not always the things you see up front, there's moments behind closed doors, and although Raphael is immortal, I love the thought of an old married devil in denial about the fact that he's fucking married and in love. But also relationships don't just happen between YOUNG people. Give me the oldies being grumpy and cute together!

Okay, just watched the new episode! Wow we got so much!

It was great actually getting to see a bit of living, breathing Emilie, she and little Adrien were adorable! She seems like a good mom, so sad to hear that Adrien thought Gabriel didn't love him. Wish we'd gotten more flashbacks like this in earlier seasons, it'd have made us feel Adrien's loss of her a lot more!

Natalie's looking good in this style! Not sure I'm a fan of her longer hair, but otherwise I'm happy! She looks very young and well rested, so good for her!

It was so cool getting to see both sets of grandparents! Was not expecting that at all! Emilie's dad is definitely a jerk, I feel so bad for her mom. Glad she finally stood up for herself and Adrien in the end!

Love Gabriel's parents! They seem so cool, and that line about not being married but still chained together like convicts of love was funny. I can't imagine how these two managed to create the Gabriel Agreste we know and hate! Hope we get to see more of them since they're in Paris!

Poor Adrien was so stressed this whole episode! Glad he got a happy ending with Natalie (despite maybe dying for a minute there??? wish we'd gotten confirmation about what happened when the rings were broken)! Love the little moment we got in the end with him and Natalie though, that was so sweet to see her comforting him, even if we had to see Gabriel being a jerk to the poor baby!

Last but not least, Marinette was cute in this episode, absolutely trying her best to be a supportive girlfriend. I do hope we eventually get to see Adrien meeting her grandparents, that'd be adorable!

Shrimpo loves this, however, homie has no idea how to deal with any kind of affection in a positive way. Cat-coded ahh guy. Glisten does find this amusing tho, so he's more inclined to be affectionate with Shrimpo to help him "get over it" in a way.

Scapmi is a preppy goth-ish shrimp with an eye for fashion and artistry. With a smart mouth and a massive ego, he often comes off as an annoyance to others. He loves to be front and center in everything but often has to fight with his internalized idea that everything is a competition that he needs to win no matter what. It causes him a lot of stress and self-doubt, but he'd never let anyone see his weaknesses.

Gash is a shrap-toned violent mirror who speaks more with his fists than his voice. He hates everything that is not himself (and sweets) and makes sure people know that. He used to be a perfectionist, but after an accident permanently cracked his face, he dropped his "perfect" persona in favor of a messy, more hateful one. He wants connection but doesn't know how to express his needs in an understandable way, and that frustrates him immensely.

As you can see, match made in heaven.

Stiles is the type of guy who does not realize he is as hot as he is. Like imagine his girl bestfriend being obsessed with him and he just never thinks it’s a possibility because he just “isn’t hot enough”

Like he gets out if practice all sweaty and out of breath and he doesn’t get why his bestfriend is so distracted.

Or they’re cuddling a little more than friendly as they watch star wars and he doesn’t get why she gets all flustered.

Then eventually she just blurts it out like, “Maybe because you’re the hottest guy on the fucking planet” and he would be all like no way you’re just saying that. And she has to probe just how much she likes him for real.

LITERALLY! THANK YOU! How is he so perceptive when it comes to other people and protecting his friends and family, but when someone is crushing on him, he's completely oblivious? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.

Anyway. I love this. Here are a few things that would go completely over his head:

Her shifting and rubbing her thighs together after his hand accidentally brushes against them while they're snuggled up on the couch.

The way she wipes the little drool off the corner of her mouth after seeing his happy trail when his shirt rode up from stretching his arms over his head.

Her red, hot cheeks when he moves a piece of hair away from her face.

Her wide eyes when she catches him readjusting his junk in his pants that are slightly too small at the crotch, thinking he's being discreet (he's not).

The way she quietly gasps when his cold hands brush against hers while they're walking to class.

The way she licks her lips at the sight of his sweaty, flushed face and messy hair.

The long inhale she takes when he hugs her, breathing in his comforting, masculine scent.

And then when she tells him, he literally rolls his eyes, which almost makes her strangle him right then and there. He's a cocky little fucker, but simultaneously has the lowest self-esteem known to man. It's a very aggravating combination.
