back from a night out and I took my usual stickering route home to check on what got scratched off -- come to find someone else has wheatpasted a gender abolitionist feminist poster to a lamppost and tied some suffragette flag ribbons to a nearby fence. Knowing another local feminist has seen my stickers and known she's not alone makes me glad I continued doing this for as long as I have. :)

Rants from instagram. The neighbours and Edds gang have such a perfect dynamic set up to me. Like Edd and Eduardo are just as goofy as the other, and they clearly both want to play along just to create a scene like they're in a movie. They each have things they could admire each other for, be jealous about, and this goes for the others and their counterparts too. To me, they're so similar it's basically just them from another universe, ones who have learned to deal with things and express themselves differently. But they can't be too similar (as in show they are,) and they are aware of their dynamic and need everyone to think they're like any antagonist or protagonist who battle each other in any show. Even if they became friends overtime, they will always be pushy show offs towards each other. The same guy, but definitely NOT the same guy. I just love it.

Because I refuse to believe the play wxs made in the main story to make Rui come back took only a day or two, but rather a longer while, and there's nothing I can currently recall in canon to prove me wrong, just imagine this really strained week or so in Kamiyama when they all avoid each other and refuse to talk

Tsukasa and Rui noticing each other in the school hallway and before anyone has the chance to do or say anything, Rui immediately turns away and disappears behind a corner, leaving Tsukasa just standing there dejectedly (but with even more motivation to make their plan work). Them passing each other on the corridor throwing each other a depreciating and guilty stare respectively

Nene and Rui meeting on the way to or back from school and walking together in an awkward silence, or talking in circles, as if they're walking on eggshells, clearly avoiding the topic of theatre, wxs and Tsukasa, since anytime these come up Rui either cuts the conversation short or throws some excuse to go another way alone

Emu sneaking in to talk to the rest, catching sight of Rui and trying to greet him, though clearly less energetic and worried. Rui reciprocating becsuse he doesn't hold anything against Emu, though clearly a bit uncomfortable as they do their best to chat yet somehow avoid the currently taboo topic of wxs

Rui coming to talk to Nene about something quickly in her classroom, but seeing Tsukasa already talking to her there and quickly passing the classroom before he has a chance to enter and be noticed. Similarly Tsukasa bursting into Nene's classroom to talk more about that show and seeing Rui inside and leaving them all standing tensely before Rui quickly excuses himself

Imagine if the rumours about Rui increased when the students saw the loudest kid in school getting unusually quiet and hesitant around him, and Rui himself clearly avoiding him, all after these two seemed to sometimes discuss things and hang out together before. Also with Rui weirdly not causing any trouble at school at that time and just isolating himself when he seemed to be brimming with ideas and muttering to himself a lot just a few days before

Koma is the meme of the guy vacuuming the driveway. Any excuse to get nearer to the action.

As soon as he works out it's not ghoul related, Amon closes the window. He doesn't wanna hear this shit.

Itori doesn't know who Louise is, but wants to. She sounds like a party. Recognises the subtle slur of inebriated angry women.

Hide is a little averse to arguments, as is Ken. The former doesn't enjoy hearing others' misery, and the latter finds it a bit triggering.

Neighbourly arguments are a goldmine for Eto. If it isn't gossip, it's inspiration for her novels.

Nishiki acts like he's above it, but when he hears that Mr Neighbour has been shagging everything on the street he's listening.

When it sounds like the neighbours aren't tiring themselves out, Yomo will knock doors. Mostly to get them to stfu, but also to make sure everything's ok (especially if the neighbour has kids in the house).

Tsukiyama has missed out on the experience of noisy neighbour fights ☹️

Roma, Suzuya, Uta and Nico are out on the street feet away from the quarrelling couple encouraging them. They choose sides too.

Touka is a slams-the-window-loudly kinda person. If she wanted to listen to bullshit, she'd have stayed at work.

Saiko sleeps through the entire thing, but wonders why her neighbour is camped out in their car the next morning.

it's getting harder and harder to buy colourful ffp2+ masks and i'm so sad about it. all the rainbow/patterned ones i've bought in the past no longer exist. i prefer these both because they suit my vibes better and because i find people are less aggro about you wearing a mask when it's colourful. i'm not sure why but maybe it's because it looks like it's partly a fashion statement? vs the very clinical white masks which seem overtly medical and somehow judgmental. seriously people are so much more chill when you have a bright orange mask and they'll often compliment you on it rather than asking why you still mask, almost nobody gives me the "you can take that off, you know" shit when i have a colourful one on but i've had it more when i wear a white one

anyway when i go back through my orders on amazon or whatever it's just dead link after dead link after dead link. i managed to order some forest green ones from another site but the only option was to get a whole box of the same colour, i couldn't get a mixture to let me shake it up more. i think this is a shame and it's also a clear sign that hardly anyone is masking anymore so there's no demand for it. sigh

i'd be tempted to switch to cloth masks for lower risk situations, because it's still better than nothing and at least then i could have colours, but i hate how they cling to my face unlike the 'duck bill' disposables. and you can get cloth ffp2s with filters you can change etc....... but they're all plain colours. you can't get patterned ones anymore. it's TRAGIC

Thinking about them again and realising that I don't like the idea that Greylock was practically a bully to Cedric in their schooldays or that Cedric hated him. To each their own, but I think they're just two dorks with a bit of rivalry who get super competitive at times. They get along quite well together when they're not competing! Well, and when Greylock's not pranking him. He's just the annoying friend, I guess. I don't want Greylock to ever stop being annoying, and I want Cedric to be seriously concerned if he does stop.

As for why Cedric wouldn't consider him a friend: this is Season 2 Cedric. Literally his whole arc is about friendship.
