a/n: Hi guys, so this is kind of the you get hurt and he goes feral fic but i've combined it with this other wip i had laying around. I talked a lot about wanting more angst and tw death (my grandmother passed last night) so ive been in this weird state of sadness that i'm repressing. Either way i wrote a fic so there's that lol. I will def have a part 2 btw so don't worry.

Sometimes when you close your eyes you can remember your childhood. What it was like before your, gift, appeared and ruined everything. How your family loved you, how your friends welcomed you, how the world didn’t hate you. Everything was perfect.

Until the day it appeared. All you did was touch her arm. That’s all you did. An argument with your mother, silence, and then you touched her arm to try and apologize and next thing you knew she was asking who you were. Yelling at you to get out of her house. You cried not understanding what was happening.

She looked at you with nothing but confusion. Not even a hint of recognition. Then your father came home and you ran into his arms. Afraid and distraught when he pushed you off him. The same look in his eyes. Who are you? They threw you out, threatened to call the cops. They left you all alone, afraid, and confused.

It didn’t take long for you to understand. A mutant. You had heard of mutants but never thought you could be one. A mutant with a powerful ability. Memory manipulation. You could alter memories, dive into someone's deepest fears, their secrets, and even erase anything from heads. In a single moment their whole lives could be changed. It was a dangerous power and you wanted nothing to do with it.

For years you lived on the road. Keeping yourself moving, stealing when you needed to. Never getting too attached to one place, to anyone. You were alone.

Then one day some people found you. Dressed in stupid costumes. Still they took you in. Gave you a home, fed you, trained you. You grew up there. From teen to adult. Charles was kind and you don't think you could ever repay him for all that he's done. Your powers were strong but he taught you to control your emotions.

Still you tried to stay a safe distance away from people. Not just physically but emotionally. The nightmares of your parents haunt you everyday. They're nice. All of them are. The kids loved you and you enjoyed the mansion.

Still when the team invited you out you declined, when the kids wanted to crowd you during dinner you politely excused yourself to your office. You didn't go to parties, you didn't celebrate the holidays with them. You were just you, a nice, safe distance away from them. Then your world got flipped upside down.

The day Logan rolled into the mansion. He was mean and angry. He had that "I don't like being around people" kind of vibe but he stuck around. Ended up becoming more apart of the team than he wanted. And he liked it.

Logan was the first one to really break down your walls. Just like everyone else you stayed away from him. Smiling and greeting him but never going past that. Maybe that's what drew him to you. You were a mystery who smelled like vanilla. It was your perfume. He would try to flirt but he got nowhere. Eventually he gave up the flirting but his interest stayed. He find ways to talk to you, getting bits and pieces of information from you.

You quickly learned he was just like you in some ways. Guarded, a past life that you don't want to talk about, loners. Somehow in all of it, as he stayed at the mansion and grew to become part of this family, he wormed his way into your heart too. Just too loners who found out that being alone together is better than being lonely.

As time passed, your relationship with Logan evolved into something you never imagined you would experience. Love. You never let yourself feel this way, too afraid that you would do the same thing to them. That you would get close, build this connection, make these memories, only for it all to come crashing down with just a single touch. These memories are precious to you. Every single one of them.

You remember the day your feelings were revealed. Both of you desperate, afraid of what they meant, but neither of you could lose each other. It was the cure. Some company had found a way to suppress the gene. The moment you heard about it you were intrigued. Your mutation wasn't fun. It didn't let you control the weather or turn things to ice. You couldn't touch people. Just like rouge you were at risk for destroying someone's whole life.

Even with the years of lessons you weren't fully in control. You never let yourself try. Logan could see it in your eyes. The confrontation wasn't pretty.

It was anger at first, wondering how you could even consider that. Then it was anger from you, years of pent up feelings releasing all at once. The fighting turned into a deep confession. An intimate moment between the two of you. He cared for you in a way that scared the shit out of him. He couldn't say the words yet but he felt them. You felt the same way but just like Logan. Something was holding you back from saying those three words.

Still you showed your love to each other in other ways. You always let him know how much you cared for him. The words died on your tongue but he knew. You hope he did.

Logan bought you a necklace. Didn't make a big deal of it but you could see the blush on his face. Tossing you the box and mumbling something about him seeing it and thinking of you. It was gorgeous. Just a simple heart necklace with two sparkling stones. One for him and one for you.

Even if you couldn't touch he wanted apart of him to be with you. It was perfect. Everything was perfect. You had Logan. You had the team, the mansion. For once you felt like your life was falling into place.

Apparently the universe didn't like that. Charles had called the team in for an important mission. You weren't on the team due to your own choosing so when Logan came back to bed he started to talk.

"Yeah some rogue mutants. Bunch of assholes who enjoy torturing humans." He grumbled as he threw his jacket on. Fixing his hair in the mirror as you sit on the bed. You're doing everything you can to stay calm, to not set off Logan's super senses.

"Some guy named Mack is their leader. Guess he's got some illusion powers or something." Logan says it all like its nothing. To him it is nothing. Just another mission. To you though, it's the beginning of the end.

"Don't know who in their right mind would do shit like that. Just a bunch of low life idiots." He spits. You wince at his harsh tone. He notices your silence and glances over at you. You're practically frozen in place. An unreadable look in your eyes.

"You alright?" Logan moves to touch your arm but you jerk it away.

"Yeah sorry, just had another nightmare last night." You lie. Logan looks at you strangely before sitting on the bed. His hand intertwining with your gloved one.

"Though I told you to wake me up." You snort and roll your eyes playfully. "And I told you the same thing." You counter. He smirks, you have him there. Part of why you go so well together.

"I'll wake you next time, I promise." There's a loud knock at the door and Logan grumbles.

"Promised some dumb kids I'd take them to the mall. Storm promised me a six pack of beer." After saying goodbye you let your smile fall.

This couldn't be happening. You thought you were finally safe, this was years ago. How could they still be around. Before Charles had found you, you were involved with this group. You weren't proud if it but you were hungry and afraid and they found you. Mutants just like you. They weren't afraid of you. In fact they were in awe of you, something you had never felt before.

You fell into their group, participating in the horrible things they'd do. You never did anything yourself. You were clean up crew. Wiping memories of anyone who saw something they weren't supposed to. Still, you enabled it all. When you finally left, it wasn't easy. You had tried to erase their memories but for some reason they could block you. You got away but they swore one day they'd come back for you. You were one of them forever now. No one would understand, no one would forgive you. You were a monster just like them.

Your mind runs a mile a minute. Thinking of everyone in the mansion. The team. Storm, Jean, Scott, Rouge...everyone.

Logan, oh god Logan.

Would he understand? He would have to. He's just like you. He did things in his past. He was violent, angry, a survivor. He never claimed to be a hero. But that doubt swirls in your mind. Fear overtakes any rational thought. You know what you have to do.

This was your fight, not theirs. You could stop them, you needed to finish what you started. Grabbing your wrinkled old backpack you stuff clothes, money, and any essentials inside of it. You had to move quick before any of the mind readers got a hint of what you were thinking.

Especially Charles. You barely had time to think about this but the fear was creeping into your mind. Poisoning it. It's better this way. It's safer this way. They've done so much for you that you owe it to them to help. You're protecting them. All of them. Logan included.

You held on tightly to the necklace he had given you. Tucking it in your shirt as you leave the room. You smiled as you walked through the halls. Saying hello to those who passed by. By the time you were at the front doors you felt a pull to keep you here.

Deep down you didn't want to leave. Of course you didn't. But you overcome the pull and walk through the doors. Refusing to look back as the mansion grows smaller in the distance. You walked for hours. Your feet aching as you finally reached some rinky dink motel. The room is depressing but for now it's home. Curling up on the bed you bury your face in the pillow.

Your heart longing for Logan. You're scared, so scared. A part of you wants to go back and find him. Tell him everything and ask for help. But then you remember what he said. How would he react knowing that you were one of them? Would he forgive you or would he turn his back on you just like Mack always said?

You barely get a moment to think before there's a loud knock at the door. Hand slamming impatiently against it. You quietly get up and look through the peephole. You cover your mouth to hide your shocked gasp. Logan. How the hell did he find you?

"I know you're in there." Oh he's angry. You open the door and Logan steps through.

"What the fuck were you thinking?!" His voice booms through the room.

"I come home to a ransacked room, I thought you were in danger. Only to be told that you ran away." He growls. He's clenching his fists tightly. How could you do this to him?

"How did you find me?" You demand as you slowly sink back towards your bag.

"Why did you leave? What's going on!" Logan is confused, lashing out on you because he just doesn't understand. Things were going great. You loved him and he loved you so why would you just run away. Away from the mansion, away from him. Did you not trust him anymore? Why?

"You wouldn't understand." You try to move past him but he grabs your shoulders and pressing you against the wall.

His claws coming out to pin you to it. The sharp adamantium knicks the chain around your neck, breaking it in two. The necklace falls to the ground but neither of you notice.

"Try me." The anger is slowly fading as he silently begs you to talk. To let him in.

"I'm sorry Logan, but I can't."

"Why not? What are you running from? I can help. Let me help." He begs. Please don't leave him. Please. He can do something. He can heal like crazy, he can track, he's fast, he's got fucking metal claws. He can help.

"You can't help me with this Logan. This is for your own good." You try to stay strong but looking into those gorgeous eyes of his was about to make you break.

"This is my fight and mine alone." He scoffs and lets go of you and starts to pace.

"Bullshit. This is our fight now. That's the deal. I lo-" He sighs and pulls you close. "Its you and me. Together." You gently trace his jaw with your gloved hands.

Tears glossing over your eyes as it takes everything in power to stay strong. To not fall into his arms. He's protected himself his whole life and you can't be the one to put him in more danger. He's a hero, he's your hero but tonight he's the love of your life and you need to protect him. Even if it feels like ripping out your own heart.

"Logan..." You say softly. He looks at you with those pretty eyes and you cup his face.

Slowly your lips brush against his. It's just a hint at first. Then it's everything at once. He smashes his lips to yours. Kissing you with a passion and need that you've dreamed off. This is your first kiss after all. It's everything you ever wanted. To feel his lips on yours. Skin to skin. You'll treasure this moment forever.

He's so wrapped up in the kiss that he doesn't notice you take your hand away. Taking off your gloves and move your hands to the side of his head. Hovering over his temples. He pulls away, breathing heavily as he leans in and kisses you again.

"I love you Logan, I love you so much." You say with tears falling down your cheeks. He realizes too late, a flash of fear as you press your hands to his face.

"No!" He roars but its too late.

Like he's in a trance he stands there. You cry as you erase every memory he has of you. He won't remember you, he won't know why he's here or how he got here. You know that you won't have long before someone else finds you and you'll erase their memory too. It's for the best. It's for his own good. His eyes flutter close as he falls to the floor. You catch his head, lowering him gently to the ground. A pillow placed under it. You can't stay, he'll wake any moment. But you have a few seconds. You lean down and place a kiss on his forehead.

"I love you Logan Howlett." You whisper gently.

You take one last look at him before grabbing your bag and running out the door. Each step apart from him is like a knife in your chest. You tell yourself this what needed to happen. You'd rather lose Logan like this than watching him suffer because of you. This way he can be happy, he can move on.

You did this for him. All of it for him.

Logan wakes to a pounding in his head. Confusion washes over him as he takes in his surroundings. Where the fuck is he? He doesn't remember how he got here, why he came here. He stands up and looks around the room.

"What the hell?" He mumbles to himself.

Was this a prank or something? He cracks his neck and looks around. The room is mostly empty but a small glimmer catches his eyes. He walks over and sees six holes in the wall that match his claws.

Leaning down he picks up a necklace. A heart with two stones. He winces as a sharp pain shoots through his head. He stands up and slips the necklace in his pocket, something telling him to keep it close. He feels a pain in his chest. Not physical pain but something else. Maybe he finally got drunk. Drank enough to finally fuck him up.

All he knows is that he needs to get back to the mansion. As he leaves stops for a second. He shakes his head and continues on, hopping back on his motorcycle. For a second there he swears he caught a whiff of vanilla.

Must be his imagination.

Andrew and Ashley with younger sister who is EXACTLY as bad as them. Possibly worse. But she hides it so well that it's reallllly hard to find out until the Burial (or Decay) ending. She's clingy and naive! But she just happens to get along well with boys, and Andrew just happens to catch them asking her out a lot. She's shy and likes to stick with Ashley, but it just so happens that girls are always asking to be friends with her, and it would be mean to say no, right? When she can't sleep at night and wants to sleep with Ashley and Andrew, she just so happens to wear really revealing clothes. Whatever, they're siblings, who cares? And if Andrew's hand is too high up her thighs, or Ashley's hand is over her breast, well, she's already fast asleep. She wouldn't know anything about that. In essence! Younger sister reader who is well aware of her older siblings' inclinations towards her and drives them insane with it while acting like a cute little angel (she is a tease). I think they'd prob catch on or at least suspect her, but it only becomes really apparent during Burial when she's *extremely* into getting down and dirty with her siblings (Ashley and Andrew are not emerging without bruises and bites and scratches).

If we're extending this to Decay ending though I think it would also be interesting is a yandere who secretly wanted to keep one of her siblings to herself. Just toxic food for thought ykyk.

baby sis [reader] teasing her siblings once they leave the quarantined apartments by offering to write her number on the wall near the restaurant (she doesn't even have a phone :p), pushing the two motel beds together so they could have "one big freedom sleepover" and she's like in a oversized night shirt and some short sleep shorts (or maybe not even wearing any bottoms to bed). maybe she's a clingy sleeper and wraps her arms and thighs around whichever sibling that falls into her nightly grasp. she's squeezing and nuzzling and cuddling them while they take it as an opportunity to feel her up. andrew def is an ass person in my head (don't get me wrong, he loves breasts and thighs too) and he hugs baby sis [reader], letting her hands rest on her ass and giving it a couple of squeezes. leaving her bras or underwear out in the open like ashley does and points it out when asked about it ("if leyley can do it then why can't i do it too?").

baby sis [reader]'s social life was a tool for her to use so she could get the attention of her siblings. telling andrew about the boys who ask her out and asking him if any of them would be right for her ("but of course there's no other man better than you, big bro!") and going to ashley after hanging out with her friends and complaining about how tiring they can be ("augh! they just don't get me like you do, leyley").

baby sis [reader] and julia being friends with each other but they're both using each other in some way. julia uses [reader] and ashley to get closer to andrew and once he and julia start dating, [reader] pretends to be a person to vent to about her relationship. while julia does talk about all the romantic things she does with andrew it's mostly her telling [reader] about ashley and all the death threats she has sent ("he bought me a lovely bouquet of tulips... and then ashley threw them away when i wasn't looking..." "a flower bouquet? how romantic!")

i can see baby sis [reader] leaving poems and love notes and little cute drawings of andrew, ashley and her together with hearts and stuff and she plays them off as either not being hers ("may julia left them for you, andy") or just cute little sister stuff ("the hearts are there to show that i love you guys")

she engages in a lot of physical affection with them both in order to touch and tease them while playing it off as her sisterly love. if she's shorter than them both she'd rest her face on ashley's chest a lot. they're just so comfy!! she'd hold andrew's hand a lot and tell him that brings her comfort and makes her feel safe,,, and he wouldn't want her to feel unsafe and scared, would he?

i think it's important that (from a story perspective i guess) andrew still watches over the parents when they prepare to sacrifice them, but ashley could also leave baby sis [reader] with him too (burial route). mrs graves tells them that she could fix all of this, they just need to ditch ashley and maybe instead of andrew it would be [reader] who threatens her ("i don't really care for how you talk about my big sister ashley like that, so i suggest you quit it :)")

during the vision, andrew and ashley are bitten and scratched up like a dog toy and [reader] is there leaning on ashley's chest, smiling and satisfied "let me know when you guys are ready for another round!"

andrew's blushing because he's embarrassed that he got caught while baby sis [reader] is blushing because it was all way more intense and wonderful than what she thought it would be. "we're never going to be like that, right?" and [reader] responds with a "well i certainly wouldn't mind :)"

a decay route with a yandere baby sis [reader] could have so many endings, you know? i think the game has three different variants/endings in the decay route: murder-suicide (ashley has a loaded gun and chooses not to shoot andrew), ashley's death (ashley has an empty gun), and then andrew's death (ashley has a loaded gun and chooses to shoot andrew). depending on possible earlier choices/actions, baby sis [reader] could either be chill with losing one of her siblings (their attention is less divided, right? more for her then!) or fucking lose it if she lost her favorite sibling to the other. gods, imagine a timeline where she lost both! her entire life revolved around her siblings and gaining their attention and love and if they're both dead in a murder-suicide then she'd probably follow them, too!

this is branching off from the request a bit (a lot) but in a murder-suicide timeline, baby sis [reader] tries to make a deal with ashley's demon/lord unknown to bring them both back to her! aaah!!

Stemming from your expansion on older sister!reader to aegon. The end where they're all happy, i feel like gives room for yandere Targaryen household. Like now it's no longer just aegon who is keen on keeping her at home but they all are now, no one wants her gone. Also just imagine someone from the North like a jon snow type person comes and reader starts to feel a little something something for him and maybe they even end up falling asleep one night somewhere together and aegon looses his absolute shit and the rest of the house worries about you leaving to the north of all places, que you being on lockdown while they either send the man away or kill him.

Things don’t fully spiral until Daemon returns to court then it’s all over. There is no taming the beast that he brings out in everyone.

The members of the targ clan have learned to happily share with each other even if certain people demand more time than others. Aegon only truly has an interest in you and has reluctantly grown fond of his nephews.

Daemon and Alicent have to learn to share Rhaenyra even as Aemond plots the murder of the man infringing on his two mums.

Helaena and Lucerys are the most chill by far and they don’t particularly care who the rest of their family spend time with unless someone is upset. Though Helaena defs puts spiders in the beds of ladies that look at her newly betrothed for too long.

Daemon, Aegon and Alicent are the worst by a fucking landslide.

Daemon just wants chaos, Rhaenyra and a relationship with his family. Even if that little fucker with the big dragon won’t stop trying to kill him. For that Aemond is actually one of his favourites to mess with but lord forbid anybody else teases his little nephew. Heads will roll.

Alicent is like the wolf in sheep’s clothing. She’s freakishly possessive with EVERYONE, and with Daemon whispering in her ear like a demon she’s the most dangerous too. Anybody that dares to say anything hurtful about her new wife/wife’s new husband/kids/nephews/nieces ends up with a ruined reputation and a painful death.

Once Aegon gets married to you he becomes infinitely worse. He won’t even let you pee alone, he’s like a cat that will stick its paws under the door and scream if you forget him. But while he’s loudly possessive and very obvious in his anger he’s not very good at manipulating anyone other than you.

So when some honourable stuff lord from the north does arrive and captures your attention with chivalry and pretty stories he almost murders him in plain sight. Daemon and Alicent have to reign him in, and suddenly the entirety of the Targaryen family refuse to let you from their sight. They spread nasty rumours, threaten family members, poison, steal you name it. The more politically savvy members will slyly dispose of the threat to you and Aegons happiness.

whispering deaths will forever and ever be my number one fave dragon. they were so important in riders/defenders and i thought they were just the COOLEST. they have rows and rows of teeth that rotate to dig through the ground which is so often SOLID ROCK on those islands in the barbaric archipelago and blow RINGS of FIRE?? ALSO THE LACK OF IRISES AND PUPILS UUUGH THE GHOSTLY EYES!!

she's a bog burglar who's a musician!! she plays the lute mostly but she dabbles in other things!! the flute, pan flute, the lur (basically a wooden trumpet vikings played!!), and more!! she genuinely enjoys making and playing music and she uses it to her advantage! she plays in public places to distract people while her fellow bog burglars are pickpocketing :)

she's born and raised a bog burglar, her mother is a bog burglar & she doesn't know and doesn't care to know who her bio father is bc no bog burglar does bc ew men. she's as vocal as any bog burglar comes and is not a fan of men. she's quick-witted, dry, passive aggressive, and very empathetic, despite trying to hide it due to a slight worry of judgement from her fellow bog burglars (some do judge, not all). she's all talk and doesn't have much of a bite but her talk will have you so confused she escapes or you'll be on the floor crying.

smth i've mentioned but haven't gone in depth abt is her fear of dragons. it runs deep and is paralyzing, due to witnessing a friend of her's and camicazi's be killed by a hideous zippleback during a dragon raid (bog burglars experienced similar dragon raids like the hooligans). when rumors circulate abt berk amassing a dragon army/training dragons she laughs and finds it to be the most ridiculous notion of all time.

until she meets snotlout and hookfang. hookfang helps her slowly get over her fear, although she nevers gets a dragon herself. she thinks snotlout is pathetic but can be alright (for a boy, of course :)) they're never in a fully commited relationship but when they're around each other they have each other's full attention & when ermintrude realizes she's fallen in love... he fell first, she fell harder. but at her core she can't bring herself to leave her life as a bog burglar and it's why they never marry. but they write to each other. she writes songs for him and he'll write poetry to act as lyrics & she's one of the only ppl he'll do that for.

i'm still working on her and her story but!! i like developing characters as i write & figuring out how they respond to situatuons rlly quickly narrowing down their personalities!! i gotta do more with her ;_;

i got like 3 asks for dyvim so ill consolidate all of that into this one (ty for them) ^^ also gives me a chance to break the ice for actual canon valerian lore :D

okay SOOOO the short summary: valerian and dyvim are like. perfectly synced up its crazy.

long version: he always feels slightly off his game whenever hes not around dyvim because he's done so much to help him find himself again after azteca. when he first went into khrysalis, he was at his lowest point and genuinely didn't believe he could do any more good for the spiral (he half-expected to die in khrys because of how dangerous it was, and its not like he was trying to preserve himself post-xibalba). but being able to save dyvim from roze and have someone fighting alongside him (especially someone with such a drive to save his people and his world) for basically the entire way was able to reinvigorate him mentally and magically in so many ways, and they've grown a close attachment to each other that resulted in valerian being a little too dependent on him to keep that momentum going. whenever they fight, theyre somehow so in tune with each other's movements and actions that they're able to take an enemy out pretty quickly. losing him in moon cliffs had him operating out of spite thru tyrian gorge and last wood because he felt he owed it to him despite the little time they had spent together up to that point, then having to separate at the solar arc had him on autopilot all the way up until the shadow palace. he was VERY hesitant to leave khrysalis because he didn't want to just leave him behind, as he was the first genuinely close connection he had since entering the spiral. plus a lot of unrequited feelings + cheesy subtle flirting attempts between the two throughout the cliffs + fort rachias + kondha desert that ended up going unspoken for a while (def until selenopolis cuz valerian just couldnt hold it in anymore). seeing him again pre-karamelle was exactly what he needed to push through the rest of the worlds, especially with seeing dyvim so happy in a restored bastion and fighting alongside him again. they definitely write to each other, and valerian always sends him photomances of worlds that may not be accessible to khrysalis due to how guarded the spiral door is so he can see what life is like throughout the spiral. YIPPEE

for school-designated professor: im gonna go with malorn cuz hes the goat!! valerian hasn't spoke with malorn in a looooong time since he barely goes back to ravenwood but when he was new to wizard city, he saw malorn like an older brother. he felt very lost in necromancy at first, especially since he was kinda the black sheep in his family for even practicing death magic (family lineage is all diviners, hence the 'thundercloud' surname) but having malorn be there for him and guide him through the nuances and complexities of necromancy really helped him get his footing in the magic rather quickly. they lost contact after the events of celestia bc valerian was VERY locked into finding out morganthe's true intentions but he does still have a lot of respect for him, and would love to see him again to properly thank him for everything hes done :)

and my queen mellori: im not even gonna lie, at first he didn't like her company (he was kinda fed up with her when she stayed behind to talk to the auroracle bc the stakes were high) but he got over himself and tried to appreciate her company. and then mirage finale happened and he was VERY fed up with her because he thought she was being arrogant, and the events of reverie didn't help either. but he learned to understand her inner conflict and became more inclined to befriend her at the end of empyrea. hes very casual with her and considers her a friend (and now a teacher as well) all bc of the ups and downs he experienced with her :P

UnderDistortion Part 1

In this Au called "UnderDistortion" the player's stats (exp, gold, atk, def, and LV) do not reset at the end of a run.

This will lead to the player repeating the genocide run over and over and over, and after killing sans one last time the player will reach LV98, and as they proceed to kill flowey and asgore, the player will try something new: They'll try if with their high stats they can survive Chara's attack that deal "99999999999" damage.

The player surprisingly received no damage from Chara, and in response they stabbed chara, leveling up one more time causing the game to reset, creating something new.

In this new run, the introduction of the game is full of bugs and errors and the protagonist is Chara, which doesn't have a soul, and the only thing she felt when she woke up was betrayal.

Chara quickly noticed the stab from the player was still there, which not only ruined her clothes but also leave her with only 1hp, as Chara proceeds in the room, she meet a familiar face, it was Flowey, who somehow did not recognize Chara, maybe it was the player's fault? The story progressed as normal for a bit, Chara met Toriel (who also doesn't recognize her) and together proceeded in the ruins, and in the moment Toriel just like in the original story left alone Chara, she had her first fight in the ruins, at first she wanted to kill the monsters but on a second thought especially after what happened to her, she tried to act and spare instead of killing, even if the first attempts only resulted in the monsters running away from chara for how bad she was.

Eventually Chara reaches Toriel's house and since her clothes were ruined, Toriel decided to make new clothes for Chara and obviously her butterscotch pie.

But as Chara decided to take a rest in her room just like in the original story, Toriel went missing, Chara looked for her until she noticed that the door downstairs was open, and while in search of Toriel she met

Sans and his brother Papyrus and became friends with them..or almost.

Chara suddendly felt strange for a few moments, as something forced her to stab papyrus, killing him.

In that moment Chara felt something, confusion and anger since she tried to do the right thing and failed for unknown reasons.

Chara then proceeded in waterfall still confused and angry, to find Toriel but the only person that she has found was Undyne who was chasing her, Chara quickly noticed her and As she ran to dodge the spears Undyne was throwing at her, she found herself crossing a long bridge, before coming to a dead end. Scared for her fate, Chara looked towards the monster, before seeing one last spear being thrown towards her, she closed her eyes in fear. However, the spear hit the last planks of the bridge, splitting it and causing her to fall down, causing her to lose consciousness, as flashbacks appeared just like in the original story but strangely errors and glitches appeared with the flashbacks, and even more strangely Chara woke up inside Undyne's house, Chara was very confused a few moments ago Undyne was trying to kill her but now they're cooking? Did those glitches affected the run? From a neutral to a pacifist? As soon as Chara tried to leave, Undyne forced her to cook together, until the house started burning just like in the original story. But soon after the house started burning undyne noticed something on Chara's clothes....dust, dust that was caused probably by Papyrus's death, Undyne after she noticed that blocked the door with her spears and looked at the human with anger before trasforming into Undyne the undying, the battle would've been one sided since Chara strangely did not gain any exp from Papyrus, but luckily for her after just a few minutes of dodging the house exploded, killing Undyne but somehow Chara didn't get hurt and only fallen unconscious, as she woke up she founded herself outside of the ruined and burnt house with her clothes a bit burned but without any dust.

y’know the voicemail sova sent to brim about pushing himself too hard in the training room? so much he needed to go to the infirmary bc of his injury?

i remember feeling really sad when hearing it for the first time bc, knowing sova’s character, he would be the type to believe he isn't good enough for the protocol at times, that he needs to push himself to extreme lengths to prove his worth even if it meant near death/exhaustion/burnout.

and i thought about what other people would think, moreso what viper would think about his behavior . . .

soviper shipper in me aside, i always imagined sova and viper having good synergy since nothing in the lore suggests there’s any bad blood between them. BUT i can def see them having their own disagreements/arguments out of love and appreciation for each other. 

let me stop rambling and get down to it:

for this soviper hc lets picture sova being healed by sage in the infirmary when viper barges in w/scary determination. it's obvious brim told her the news judging from her expression and body language alone.

seeing sova’s injury close up from the heal, she tries her hardest not to waver when she angrily spits out: ‘leave us, sage’.

only when sage leaves do they finally have a serious talk.

unfortunately their talk escalates into a heated argument . . .

from viper’s end she can't comprehend why sova needs to recklessly sacrifice his well-being for the protocol. his determination and endless devotion are qualities she deeply admires in him, but over the years she's gotten to know him—grow fond of him—she realizes those strengths are also his weaknesses.

for sova’s defense he points out how their enemies are growing stronger every moment they're not prepared. he needs to be stronger to protect the people he's gotten to know on his team, the people he considers his family. 

he can't bear to see anyone get hurt on his watch let alone her.

he's willing to sacrifice himself if the situation demands it.

eventually they go back and forth, unapologetically airing out their raw emotions, hearing but not listening, until viper finally ends the convo with a vicious ‘consider yourself benched’ before leaving.

(god how she hates forcing her own hand; she hates being cruel to him)

(they were usually on the same page. why couldn't he see her POV?)

as days pass everyone can sense the tension between sova and viper whenever they’re in the same room together, avoiding eye contact and keeping their distance. it becomes even more awkward when the duo missions they're usually assigned together get postponed or handed off to the other agents should it be of utmost importance.

(even though sova probably wouldn’t have minded doing the missions w/someone else if needed, brimstone respects viper’s order to not let their golden boy do anything rash when he should be resting)

(viper also refuses to duo with anyone else; she doesn't want anyone else. no one can compare to sova nor their flawless work dynamic on the field)

in the meantime, now that he has plenty of time on his hands, sova goes out to enjoy the outdoors with only his camera, his owl drone, and his thoughts. maybe join the other agents for social events later if he's in the mood. 

(he tries to ignore the ache in his chest when he thinks of her. he fails miserably)

as for viper, she stays holed up inside her research lab longer than what’s considered normal by her standards. even access to her lab becomes restricted so that no one including sova could disturb her for anything.

(a part of her hopes he would stop by her lab, but he hasn't visited since the argument. she pretends his absence doesn't affect her)

days turn into weeks before either of them let their walls down.

eventually sova decides to take the initiative and apologize. he refuses to waste another day w/o her, especially not over an argument about him—an argument he admits had been out of his best interest.

he was prepared to leave his room when she lets herself inside . . .

suddenly the words he'd prepared over and over in his head escaped him. one look at her was all it took to leave him momentarily speechless.

it's a miracle he could even find the words to speak. ‘did brimstone need anything from me?’

‘no’

‘ahh’

their eyes never left each other, both noting their mirrored worn out faces as if neither had slept peacefully in ages—they hadn't. hidden beneath the exhaustion they could pinpoint the longing, relief, and peace reflected back at them after finally reuniting.

Like any fandom, there are some who strongly dislike who Austin is dating rn, but with Austin's fandom, I get the impression that it's more so who they think Kaia is that they don't like. I don't get the impression that they're against Austin dating ANY woman, I just don't think they like him dating her.

Some fandoms out here can get real territorial and don't even want the guy dating anyone.... (like Chris Evans' fandom for example lol 🤭) and that's usually because the actor stayed "single" in the public eye for way too long, so now, when he does start dating someone seriously, his fans don't know how to handle it lol 😅

I don't get that impression from the Austin fans. Most fans were already used to him dating Vanessa for years, so it's not like they don't want him to date anybody. I think most people DO want to see him with a great woman! 👍🏾 Most of us just want to see him dating a genuinely sweet, talented, and kind young woman, who is (preferably) close to his own age 🥴, and doesn't seem like a clout-chaser or attention-seeker. Bato and Gheli were both a little wary about her at first and didn't really understand Feyn's bond with her for a while, probably not really warming up to her until around PoF. seeing how much the other being in danger distressed each of them really helped Bato and Gheli realize how important they were to each other (and Aurene helping to kill a god also got her a few extra points lol)

they're def not as close to her as Feyn but they love her in their own ways, like Gheli would teach her more about asura and Celadon forest and Bato would get her a little extra treat whenever she goes hunting/shopping for supplies

I love calm characters going off the rails for a few minutes. Like. Iiro and Daneiris? Did not know of that friendship until I woke up yesterday and realized that they've worked together for YEARS and they're a good fit for each other.

Extreme empath man who's like. A little guy. But he's not a little guy that fox mask is the spirit of his dead friend AND hides the truth of what happened to him when he was younger.

Then we have a woman who group up loving creatures that are like. Yk. Illegal to have in Charington. Literally anything other than humans. Like after her father died she was so distraught and upset and was so easy to manipulate and that's how the man got his hands on her, the man she claims to love and cherish and that she claims as her partner when he is literally so. Just. BAD. AAHHHHHH. Like I don't think I could talk about it all it's pretty fucking disturbing but you can assume what kind of boyfriend he is. The worst kind. This is NOT an edgar mike relationship this is worse.

So anyways. I realized that they're pretty good friends. Like I think Iiro trusts her second most out of the ring which is odd considering I never thought about the two of them but now that I am wowee. I think like. I dunno where in the timeline this is mind you, but def before Iiro's death, maybe after Aurum's since he's the first to go, but Daneiris is just so distraught and stressed.

Like Daneiris and Aurum? Great friends. Even considered them a cursed ship in my head but she would never escape and it would just end in anguish. Yk. So his death affects her so much that she begins to shut down a little, especially towards her partner, who like. Sees this. And sees her rejecting him somewhat. And you KNOW that makes it worse.

Iiro being an empath has kinda like. Known. Yk? It's like how when you've been hurt and abused as a kid you can see it when you're older. But he feels so much and knows so much and he's so in tune with people that at this point in the timeline, he feels so helpless.

So when he realizes just how helpless Daneiris is too, it makes him so ungodly angry. He gets so fucking mad and wishes he could change it, change something, anything, make it better in some way he just wants to protect ONE person, one person in this stupid city, because he's surrounded by people who are so fucked up that it toils away at his mental state and outside of them he feels nothing. He literally can't even feel the need to eat, to live, but the goes back and no matter how crushing the feeling is, it's better than nothing.

ALL OF THIS TO SAY. I think one day Daneiris comes into work and has just had enough. She's hurting and tired and literally every small thing is able to set her off, the creatures she works so diligently to care for hurt her so much. The things she does for people mean nothing when it makes no difference. And. And. And. Just.

FUCK I can't even build up to it. The idea of her just angry, sad, in pain, wanting to let everything go, and instead just Breaking Down:tm: in Iiro's arms while he just. Swears. To actually kill a man.

Like the idea of the calmest, kindest people in the ring (except mia hi mia :3) just getting so ungodly mad together. The idea that Iiro might die when he's trying to make a difference for himself because he wants to protect the people around him. The fact that if he EVER got his boney little hands on that man he'd actually fucking kill him. Like. Beating the fuck out of him wouldn't be enough. He needs to beat the fuck out him, scream, scream some more, grab his gun and shoot like 20 bullets into him. He needs his closest companions to take a good look at what he's capable of. Because. He loves them.

It wouldn't haunt him. I think Iiro really needs an arc where he's set off and everyone realizes what kind of person he can be. He needs to be seen as a bomb by most people except for his closest friends. He needs an arc where he starts to grow and get over himself. He needs to do better for himself only to die in the end.

okay sooo i basically wanted an excuse to think about jack being alive post-canon, but i figured if u bring back the guy who had it coming its only fair to bring back other characters who should not have beefed it. and so! the best option seemed like the new-U system! i know they're just a game mechanic thats not supposed to be taken literally but if they're not gonna use it i am lol.

roland not respawning after jack kills him in bl2 is kinda weird since he defs uses new-Us in bl1, but i could see jack using a jammer or some chump shit to interrupt the process. maya n lilith's deaths happen in ways were i……. get that they wouldnt respawn but their data could be still in the system somewhere. i also think non-vault hunter npc like scooter would have at least fast traveled once (most of the fast travels are also hyperion? i think? they feel like the same tech) so they might also have digistruct data. sometimes the system trips up, or u cant pay the fee ect ect, and u dont respawn, but ur up there! backed up in the damn cloud or some nonsense.

wilhelm, nisha, n aurelia are all perma-killed in canon, but are replayable fights, so TECHNICALLY they kind of are respawning they're just………… stuck. the new-U puts them back together but they cant move on for some reason. some goes for a lot of the other infinitely respawning bosses/enemies.

so the catalyst for this au now that bl3 is out is that post-canon, tannis is training her siren powers by shifting thru hyperion's systems, she decides familiarizing herself with the new-U system might be useful when she uncovers all these backed up and malfunctioning respawns, and realizes that if she just like. refreshes the system, all these people might come back. she consults with the other raiders about her findings, n that she probably COULD pick and choose profiles to revive their friends but not their enemies, but tannis is trying to AVOID playing god these days thank u very much.

ultimately they all want their friends back too much to pass up the opportunity and have tannis go thru with it. everybody respawns!! everybody gets a lot of confused echo-messages!! everybody cries!! the crimson raiders are reunited!!!

(this is the part where i talk abt jack and angel's respawns bc they're. specific.)

jack not respawning at a new-U is kinda weird with the context that he like. owns them? it tracks that he thought he was too good to need them, but hes also very paranoid, so what if he had his set up different? a failsafe in the Very Unlikely Event something happens to him, where instead of the nearest new-U, he's respawned at a station in a saferoom somewhere where he can be in immediate control of the situation again. it also tracks that he was very confident he could keep angel safe, but again. what if the very very worst happens? angel's respawn is set to be something only jack can activate, but he has to do it manually so no one else can get to her first. his ego was too big to see any flaws with this!

he doesnt think about the chance that something happening to angel while she's so deeply ingrained in hyperion's systems might mess stuff up. so when she dies, the saferoom goes dark, and jack's too far gone to notice. he's going to win the day and revive his daughter into the better, safer world he's going to build. this does not happen, he dies and his data has no new-U to go to so it just sits there. until tannis resets the system, which powers his saferoom up and spits him out. a new-U glitch he didnt care enough about to have anyone patch interrupts the reconstruction process and he loses his arm to it. he manages enough first aid to not just die again, and finally respawns angel, hoping she'll help him.

after respawning, once angel is able to get her bearings, she's devastated by the idea that jack won, but quickly realizes he DIDNT and he's very hurt and weak right now and this is her CHANCE. but she cant bring herself to kill him she wants to so badly but she just. cant go through with it. but she sure as shit can pistol whip him, collar him, and march him straight to the crimson raiders. once she finds them.

Obi Wan always had a crush on Luminara since he was a young lad in the same creche as her but he was always too shy to say something. He assumed she didn't feel the same since she was probably too "cool" for him.

Luminara also had a crush on Obi Wan since the beginning and she tried all the flirting however Obi Wan was too oblivious to pick up on it. She probably would have straight up told him but I think that probably got stunted when (and what I'm about to say is my headcanon) she lost her Master. The death of Master Katri probably was so consuming she just didn't have the energy to think of romance anymore.

This in turn would reinforce Obi Wan's belief that she didn't feel the same for him and being a good caring person and Jedi, he put his feelings aside to comfort her as a friend.

Unfortunately by the time Luminara was able to heal and felt comfortable enough again to tell him how she felt, that's when Obi Wan met Satine so she assumed he only cared for her platonically or whatever interest she may have sensed earlier in him, he moved on and she was too late.

2.) Who would confess first and how?

Luminara would confess first and I feel like it happened at some point during The Approaching Storm just given the chemistry and events of the book. I mean they promised to take care of the other's Padawan so they clearly had some intense interactions between the lines and scenes.

I mean a mission that forces them to spend prolonged time together sleeping right next to each other? That's prime romantic potential right there. So I feel like in one of the moments their Padawans were both preoccupied with something, they'd get to talking in the infamous tent and Luminara would let it slip that she had a crush on him growing up.

Obi Wan would be so shocked at this and in turn reveal he also had a crush on her. And the interaction would go something like this and it would all be spoken a little heatedly given their surprise how long they've had to hold back:

Obi Wan: "Well why didn't you tell me?! All those years, I thought you only saw me as a friend!"

Luminara: "And I thought you only saw me as a friend!"

(Suddenly both realize how close their faces have gotten)

Luminara: "We are good friends, aren't we?..."

Obi Wan: "Yes... very good friends..."

(They both start furiously making out)

7.) What's a typical date night for them?

I feel like Obi Wan would always have flowers and a "hello there" to start their dates and they're both all dressed up to go somewhere fancy like a restaurant with a private booth or the theatre which usually ends in one of their rooms in the Temple.

In the more casual version they'd probably stay in and cook together just enjoying each other's company while they can.

15.) How would they express their affection for each other?

They both ADORE using cute titles for each other like "darling," "dear," "love," etc.

Obi Wan is THE gentleman and will always open the door, pull up a chair, all that stuff for his lady. He would also be big on words of affirmation and always reminding her how amazing she is because he knows she needs to hear it.

Luminara would give Obi Wan gifts and souvenirs from her missions. She definitely would give him something significant to Mirialan culture that is some kind of sign of love and commitment. Food is also a love language for her so she def would feed him much like Barriss would for Ahsoka.

16.) How would they comfort each other?

With Obi Wan, like I said he would try to use words to validate her but he also knows that sometimes there are no words so he would just check on her and take care of her, makes sure she's eating, etc. until she's ready to talk about it. Luminara suffers in silence for the most part so lots of holding her for sure.

Luminara would be his safe space for him to cry and express his feelings. She'd just listen and hold him. She'd struggle to not go out there and beat the crap out of whoever caused this. But she'd know that he needs to just spill what he's feeling without feeling judged so she'd let him feel it all.

43.) What does Luminara think of Obi Wan's past relationship with Satine and Ventress being flirty with him?

With Satine, Luminara for the most part just feels really hurt that she missed her chance with Obi Wan. She understands why Obi Wan would still care about Satine years later but also is frustrated because she knows it was not a healthy relationship for Obi Wan. Luminara does still feel bits of jealousy come up and just does not like her.

And if Luminara doesnt like Satine, she FUCKING HATES Ventress's flirtiness with Obi Wan 🤣 nothing gets her straight to big mad faster than the thought of that bog witch throwing her skirt at Obi Wan.

1. Which part of the series was your introduction to HTTYD? How old were you when you first became a fan?

i rmr it pretty well. i was abt 11 years old & my mom found the first movie on comcast on demand & wanted to find a movie for us we (my siblings & i) hadn't seen so she chose it. i rmr the year prior with all the commercials on tv & stuff & was like hey!! i rmr wanting to see this! cool!! and i rlly liked the movie!!!!! my full obsession, however, didn't start until abt a year later when she brought home this pack of the first 6 books (that's all that was available at the time!) & reading through them i rewatched the movie & we had it on dvd by that point and that was it. the rest is history

5. What type of dragon do you think best matches your personality?

oh gosh. the impulse to say my fave but whispering deaths don't rlly "match" me personality wise. tbh a gronckle, me thinks. with a personality like meatlug or shattermaster. :') they're such goofy goobers but they're also rlly sweet & i am so soft for that LOL. they remind me of the dog i grew up with with how snorty they are & the way they wag their tails :'))

IDK their chemistry is just??? i love how they constantly bicker & snotlout is just a piece of shit & it causes astrid to retaliate & treat him like that even when he's not actively being a piece of shit which pisses him off & yet they always somehow end up by each other or saving each other much to astrid's chagrin half the time & then snotlout's confusion UGH ESP SNOTLOUT'S ANGELS the nose flick & then astrid admitting she doesn't hate him & his FACE HIS FUCKING FACE he's so got a genuine crush on her but doesn't know how to Behave & i love them getting together & then breaking up & for astrid it's smth she looks back on fondly but never wants to go back to while snotlout is stuck adding her to his list of ppl being the one that got away & yearning..... they're also so funny together & i feel like if they're ever on the same page they're so powerful & it's scary LOL

fishlout used to be my fave & i still love it. rtte spent more time building their relationship to each other than either of them with ruffnut & we all saw the potential of what could have been :') it can easily fall into the jock x nerd thing but it's more than that to me bc while fishlegs is anxious he doesn't take snotlout's shit lying on his back (esp after gem of a different color) & by rtte fishlegs is rolling his eyes & quipping back & it's just forever this contest of who comes out on top & then u have thw whole thor bonecrusher thing & it can so easily be an exploration in snotlout's bisexuality (and fishlegs'!) esp after return of thor bonecrusher when snotlout is just SO happy fishlegs is back to the point where he gives him a hug (and was like :D woah when fishlegs bodied a dude to protect him) & they def had a brief stint after that. they don't talk abt it. it's only between them... snotlout yearns so badly...

Um Nice little pallet cleanser, question if you ever think you got all of your OCS like the Rockstar Trio together and of course they're lovely counterparts, do you think they play Among Us or any party games how would that be?

They would all def play party games but they always would end in chaos and disaster, especially Among Us or Friday the 13th where some are good liars, others are not, and Pluto is merciless as the imposter or Jason where everyone is too scared to move.

Jack kinda loses a lot of games save for when he is playing as Jason in Friday the 13th where he is, for some reason, VERY GOOD at picking everyone off one by one.

Bitterbat is much too jolly slaughtering his fellow stars and tends to sing during his murders...proximity chat is hell on Sweetheart. Speaking of Sweetheart, Bitterbat 100% trails her in either game no matter what role he is assigned and sometimes it just devolves into "Hide the Sweetheart" where everyone is in on the joke of obscuring her from Bitterbat and they all lowkey forget the original goal of the game...until Bitterbat realizes "If I kill everyone else THEN NO ONE CAN HIDE MY QUEEN FROM ME" and everyone in call pulls a "Wait hol' up" but the bodies are already dropping. And if Sweetheart is the imposter ALONG WITH BITTERBAT. They wind up winning most of the rounds together.

Jack can't lie worth shit in Among Us but he's a good crewmate, has a lot of trust in others, and tends to spend most of the match as a ghost because he wrongfully thought Nova running around him was a sign of friendship and not a shark circling its prey until he got a knife in his back and her gremlin giggling in his ears as she skedaddles into the nearest vent. Nana is a death avenger though and the second Jack is reported dead, she is on the hunt for whoever she thinks was it. And usually, her guess is very correct.

Uno is just a screaming match where Jack winds up the butt of everyone's jokes because he struggles slapping someone with a +2 or a +4 because it's hard to steal the joy of winning the game from someone...but by god Bitterbat just forced a skip turn on him for the 3rd time and he's about to snap because he's holding 50 cards and needs to get rid of them at some fuckin' point. Bitterbat will def fuck himself over to get Sweetheart to win and the only way to get him to play correctly is if she tells him ahead of the match

Fall Guys with Jack, Sweetheart, and Pluto is very much stressful because what's a good player to glitches and shitty RNG. They start off the night with high hopes and end it motivationally destroyed and a couple cool cosmetics but they don't soften the sting of being within reach of a crown only to get wacked by an obstacle and sent flying off a stage.
