I caught up with the bllk manga and it is a 5 course meal with the way it is serving rn.

Rin's moment came and it is mind blowingly perfect. I could’nt ask for more and there are so many delicious details it's terrific.

The title of this chapter is very interesting to me for reasons. Because Rin as a character is shown to be connected with death and suicide. Infact his 1st character defining line is " Soccer is a battle to the death". Later we find the seed of this thinking in little Rin. He's a weirdo who flings himself at pigeons at toy blocks and a completely opposite mentality to the other kids. The ultimate monster who fights someone stronger, gives his all, and then dies is incredibly cool to him. He hopes to be someone like him in the future . So is it really coincidence if the title of his chapter has a clever wordplay with a famous author who was also suicidal and who wrote a book called " No longer human"?

Now Dazai Osamu was an remarkable author and coincidentally (those who watched Bsd will know) he strived to do double suicides with the women he was in love with. So is it really coincidence that the words that comes out of Isagi’s mouth are " I'll die with you!"? Are you all seeing the romantic connotations here guys?👀

Moving on, just the general remarkable-ness of these recent chapters is blowing my mind.

To see Isagi, the master adapter, arguably the best person in Blue lock who can analyze others to perfection floundering at the anomaly that is Itoshi Rin is so great. This is the first and only time Isagi has been unable to decipher the thought process of another person to this extent. It's gonna make the time when he does get through Rin so much more satisfying. 💚

And its too sad that Rin is so chained in by his feelings that he can't kick a goal his teammates would kill to have because of his own mind( bro needs a therapist fr). It's so baffling to others watching from the outside, but to Rin, it makes perfect sense. It's the way he's almost begging for someone to come, someone to break in and-

The image of Isagi literally swiping away Sae’s phantom, almost reassuring him that he's here, he's real is too beautiful. When Rin is about to lose everything, Isagi is the one who is there. I'm pretty sure Loki would've benched Rin if he threw away a goal again, so Isagi is the reason Rin is still playing in this match. Just the visual framing in this panel is too good.

The way Isagi's eyes look so bright as if he's giving hope to Rin. Rin's EXPRESSION 😭(All we need are some flower petals)

Tell me this isn't poetic beauty, come in my face and tell me this isn't the epitome of romance.

Regardless if it is romantic or platonic, I still adore the way they're written into each other’s arcs. I wasn't the one to notice this, but if Isagi had collided into Rin and Rin had not scored, Isagi would've been red-carded instead of being let off with a yellow card. ( His head was definitely not all there in this moment)Isagi Yoichi, thank your stars your lover is a genius , bro would've been cooked otherwise.

And at the end,

We see the old Rin again, finally enjoying the game he worked his entire life for. (Off topic, but he looks so cute and gorgeous here) and the catalyst for that is none other than our protagonist.

Isagi is the light that brings hope to Rin and Rin is the centre, the ideal for Isagi’s growth. They saved each other.

All of NEL hasn't been exactly amazing but Kaneshiro's writing peaked in these chapters. There is so much said in every panel, so much emotion expressed in each drawing, It's incredible.

okay i was gonna end the post there but i scrolled back up to review and realized i forgot to actually explain why i am excited for more alicia lloyd scenes so that's gonna go here now i guess LMFAOO

i really really hope that alicia and lloyd have a closer, more quiet moment to talk about their respective lives and history with losing loved ones and feeling isolated as a result. i WAS gonna talk abt that in a dedicated alicia post but i guess itll make a cameo here too lol

bc if u think abt it, suho and alicia both went through very very devastating losses. they both lost the lives of the people who cared for them most, and in very very tragic ways (suho's parents committed, and alicia's parents were slaughtered / alicia's brothers put her in a 'kill or be killed' situation). it's really unfortunate, it's life-altering, and it follows you,,, and then the isolation that comes after that makes it all even worse.

of course, we see suho very explicitly going through throes of isolation through endless work, endless school, and the sheer struggle to just survive to the next day by himself, with no family to support him. obviously, we don't see alicia explicitly having this experience, but i think it'd be reasonable to believe that after the death of her family,,, it was just her. she lost her parents and her brothers, and now she's the only one with the magentano name, and you can't exactly have an empty mantle now can you?

she probably didn't really have anyone to talk to about this. probably just a bunch of old coots on that board of nobles, who have to help her with this "being queen" thing, u cant exactly talk abt ur trauma to people who are technically working for u, who care more abt their status in the kingdom than anything else. and at such a young age, too... like yeah she's surrounded by people technically, but how many people around her actually care for HER, and not for her new status as crown princess? and then as queen? like no wonder tyrant alicia comes to be because of a betrayal from kyle, no wonder she's worried abt letting lloyd into her heart. she's probably been worried about betrayal from a loved one all her life bc of what her brothers did,,, that must be so isolating, and lonely.

so yes, i think alicia probably went through a long bout of isolation, too. and i think alicia and lloyd should Talk about it and have a heart to heart and go "jesus fuck we went through it,,, but we have found people we can rely on. and isn't that wonderful,,," and then alilloyd will have a wonderful leg to stand on yay

i WOULD go on longer about alicia in this rant but i wanted to save it for the post i was planning,,, i couldn't help myself this time though, bc it seemed relevant LOL

WII HI GALA!!!!!!! I’m so glad you asked, cuz I JUST finished playing PPT 3 like yesterday and i planned on redesigning the smiling critters!!!! I actually plan on redesigning other characters too, but ill save that for its own post lol. I'm mainly focused on the critters… cuz gosh they're so cute, but i think their designs are a litttleee bland for my liking. I’m so glad you want to see my take on them…. imagine serizawa going on a hangout w his classmates, and he thinks about bringing reigen w him, so he goes hey, im going out for a drink w my classmates. wanna tag along? and reigen is like haha! sure but id rather not drink rn if thats okay and wawa is like haha yeah sure. and then they get there and wawas classamtes are like come onn have a drink w us u silly, so he gives in, but hes a really fucking lightweight, and just gets super drunk super fast, and starts slurring his words and getting hot under his suit and wawas like holy shit, guys I might have to get my boss back home. but he doesnt know where reigen lives and he cant even answer, so he calls a cab and brings him to his apartment, which hes very embarrassed about cuz he didnt rly clean up before leaving, and has video game stuff all over his room, but he helps Reigen take off his clothes, and as hes unbuttoning his shirt, reigen grabs his hand by the wrist, and puts it flat on his chest, and Serizawa has no idea what to do, but he's mesmerized by reigens red cheeks and his heavy breathing, and he finds his other hand being guided to reigens inner thighs, and he knows he should stop, but the sweetest sound just leaves reigens lips, and he wants to hear that again, so he lets his hand wander up his neck, and his face, and the back of his head, gently grabbing him by the hair, as the other hand finds its way to his hips, and they're so close, and. serizawa quickly steps away, as reigen whines. but he knows he shouldn't do anything with a man, so vulnerable and pathetic right now. so he just asks him to take a shower. and he awkwardly sits with his back facing reigen as he tries to was himself, with not much success, so he has to step in and help, so he washes his back, and his chest, asks him to lift his arms, which reigen doesnt, so he does it himself, washes his calves, and his thigs, up to a certain point, and then carefully washes his hair, and reigen leans into his touch, and he still cant seem to form a coherent sentence, but he's obviously very greatful. and surprisingly docile, which serizawa is not used to. then he help him get out, helps to wipe the water off with a towel, and gives him a pair of pijamas which are a few sizes too big on reigen, but he looks so cute. cool! i mean. that's his boss. he shouldn't fantasize about him like that. he knows. yet he cant help it, as they get in bed together, because of course he wanted to take the couch but he can't leave reigen alone like that haha! he has to share a bed with him. for safety. of course. and reigen rests his head on his chest and arm, and his wet hair feels cold touching his face, but he doesn't care. he holds him tight, and they fall asleep soundly.

After my rant today I think we all know the one thing I want, NEED, to see is Shin apologize to Peach. I cannot stand the idea of Peach bearing all the emotional work for this relationship.

Cherry Magic 30 - So I'm coming at this from a place of knowing nothing about the originals. I'm really enjoying Karan just in general, his thoughtfulness, his care, all of it. He reminds me of a quote from episode 3 of The Last of Us: "Paying attention to things is how we show love." I'm also really enjoying the importance the show is putting on consent as well as Achi's care to make sure he isn't taking advantage.

I'm really going into this right now with no opinions, no theories, I'm just along for the ride. I hope we see some more cat thoughts, I guess.

Cooking Crush - I really wasn't sure if I was going to stick this one out. It's a little too goofy for my tastes but OffGun's chemistry is doing a lot of heavy lifting for me, so that's one of the things I'm enjoying. I'm also enjoying the playfulness of Ten and Prem and this cute courtship they have going on.

Last Twilight - You guys have seen my meta posts. I could wax poetic about this show all day long. Thus far I ADORE how they're treating Day's disability and showing how important him maintaining his agency is. I'm also really enjoying Mhok's perspective as a caretaker and the way he adapts and learns every day. I've been both - I'm currently disabled and I was a caretaker for five years. This show is so near and dear to my heart already.

I really hope we see what the hell is going on between Night and Day. Like, we have to, right?

Pit Babe - I'm an omegaverse bitch. I'm sorry, it's my guilty pleasure. One of the first things I do when I get the brainrot for something is go see if there are any good omegaverse fics (I'm very picky, we don't like misogyny or thinly veiled transphobia in this house, no thanks.) I'm enjoying seeing the worldbuilding of this show so far as well as each of the characters and their personalities. Playboyy - BOY HOWDY. Listen, I'm mostly watching this to avoid FOMO. I'm asexual, the sex is doing nothing for me really. The wet noises make me scream and throw my headphones off. I AM enjoying the mystery aspect of the plot a lot, I'm very curious where that is going. I'm also very much enjoying the exploration of different sexualities, like the hints that Soong and Zouey might be demisexual.

Obviously I want to know what the fuck happened to Nant, but I also just want to see more Prom. Also wanna see Aob become soft for Puen.

The Sign - My absolute beloved. I'm obsessed, I'm going to be obsessed forever I fear. The mythology is just fucking superb, the yearning is incredible, the action is great, the friendships phenomenal. I could go on and on about everything I love about this show. It's everything to me and I know I'm going to be a WRECK when it inevitably ends.

I can't wait for Phaya and Tharn to fuck, sure, but I can't wait for them to be in love. I can't wait to see them hold each other gently, look for reassurances in each other, and I hope they each regain at least some memories of their past selves and maybe how much they loved each other.

I actually only realized after I finished drawing the boys that kngm and rn work better as umi and maki respectively ;-;

So this is mostly because love live has no male characters and blue lock doesn't have any female characters (I'm sorry Teieri Anri) and also because it's just. so funny to imagine.

The way I see it, the muse members would be

Maki → Rin (Its); initially I put him as Umi but actually Maki makes more sense bc they're both standoffish and good at the stuff they do

Rin (Hzr) → Aryu; they're both kinda extra

Hanayo → Chigiri; mostly just bc of other relations..welp

Honoka → Isagi; bc MC. Sorry but that's basically it lmao

Umi → Kunigami; he was initially part of the team Z trio in 1st arc so it makes sense to pair him up with isg and bcr. Plus kngm and umi are both proper and stuff (kngm pre-wildcard tho, obv)

Kotori → Bachira; paired up with isg but not really. It's mostly that they have cute, cheerful personalities

Eli → Nagi; bc a genius and also him and reo are a pair so you can't separate them

Nozomi → Reo; bc he's a pair, like nozo and Eli. Plus nozo and reo are both purple!

Nico → Barou ; this was the easiest for me to figure out because. it fits so well. They both have terrible personalities and are unexpectly proper (good at cooking; clean freak)

I'm a BIG fan of The Black Eyed Peas, they're my favorite group and I love (almost) all of their songs in all of their phases (ATBAN Klann, BEP pre-Fergie, BEP4 and BEP)! Including the Urbz soundtrack they made (I'm listening those rn lmao). I always refuse to do art of real life people but they're the exception, also they literally help me a lot with my daily struggles and even they're a part of my identity! (The BEPgender is for everyone). Also, I'm a big fan of MySims (and the Sims saga in general), it's my comfort saga but also has everything I could ask for; cute chars, simple gameplay, belic scenarios, political conflicts, social critic, etc., I even have an AU but its like fucked up and edgy and different dude its so unique

I have a Wii and a Xbox360, and I'm a mega fan of those consoles, and a big fan of Mii's and Xbox Avatars (Underrated as hell). Some of my OC's are freaking Xbox Avatars lol

I have some projects goin' on so expect updates of those if you are interested, my main goal is to mod the BEP to BRC, all from scratch and done by myself

I'm also modding some items and chars of MySims to L4D2 wit a friend

My personality is like kind but very mean at the same time, my mbti is infp. I'm super superrr lazy when it comes to anything especially school but when push comes to shove I'm probably ur best bet to get at least a B on a group assignment. I also give very very good advice like all my friends ask for my advice like they come to me bc I'm extremely honest, if theres a fight between friends they usually ask my input and I'll say it straight up whos in the wrong or if their both in the wrong. This drowsy devil would love nothing more than to spend this special day watching you cook for him. Or, if you prefer going out, he'll do that, too. He's so carefree that he goes along with anything, especially if it makes you happy. If you choose to stay at home and cook, he'll hover over you, watching you intently as you make the food. If he gets a little sleepy, because watching you cook is so relaxing, he'll wrap his arms around your waist and rest his chin on your shoulder. Lazy kisses all day.
