The Kid at the Back (Visual Novel)
Created by:𝖋𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖆𝖘𝖎𝖆 | TealCat
Genre: Thriller/Romance
The Kid at the Back is very cool looking and technically well done. I love all the character designs made in this one and Sol himself is pretty interesting at least that's what it sets itself up to be. All routes lead to the same ending though which is r18 considering that we basically see him jacking off to the main character's voice.
The story starts out with Darling Quinn finishing class. One of their classmates, Brittney tries to get them to join them for lunch together while the class representative, Crowe Ichabod comes in to defend Darling from her. Darling can then choose to go with Brittney to the cafeteria, go to the library or go to the rooftop.
Choosing to go to the cafeteria with Britney will lead to meeting a couple of other characters: Jess, a shy girl who follows Britney around, Deryl the friendly jock and Geo, the quiet cool kid. If the player has their own lunch, they will sit down and talk to Geo and Deryl for a bit as they have their playful banter while going with Britney will have a conversation with Crowe. In the end though, Britney's outfit is ruined by another girl who seems to have beef with her, before the entire cafeteria gets thrown into a food fight. In the end, Darling gets hit in the head with one of the trays causing them to pass out and end up in the infirmary. Crowe stays for a bit after Darling wakes up but ultimately leaves for classes. Darling ends up seeing another student who seemingly has had his hand cut and he gets bandaged up before Darling ultimately goes back to art class.
Choosing to go to the roof will lead to Darling going to the roof to eat lunch, only to end up accidentally eavesdropping on someone during a call. The boy, Hyugo, asks Darling for a favor to take his place as he needs to ditch his partner, Sol, in his next class to do something.
Choosing to go to the library will lead to them going there to read, only to find someone in their seat. There are a couple of ways this can go depending on choice. The one with the least interaction is sitting next to him then going to class afterwards to see him in the back. Sitting in another seat will lead to Darling seeing a commotion in the back where the guy is getting beat up. Here, they can either step in or chicken out. Chickening out will lead them feeling guilty when the two meet up in class, but helping them out will prevent him from getting bandaged later. Talking to him directly leads to the most interaction with him, with Sol getting more snarky with the player, and asking what they will give him in return. The best response is to just demand him to give them their seat back, to which he refuses and Darling ends up sitting on them, causing them to blush and start talking about the book he's reading, Edgar Allan Poe and well as what books that Darling has been reading before the two head to class. Choosing to do something intimate will lead to Darling asking if he wants a hug to which he makes a confused response and Darling will end up sitting next to him after a bit of awkwardness. They can also offer to buy him a drink where they can choose (the latte will have the best response out of him) before they head to class.
Darling will end up spotting Sol in the back seat (as the name implies) though will have different reactions depending on their interaction with Sol, to feeling embarrassed that they left him to get bullied, to surprised if the two met in the library etc. The professor will ask everyone to pair up and Darling is left to partner up with Sol. The two will introduce themselves to each other, before deciding who will be drawn first. Sol will have different interactions based off whether Darling declares they're good at drawing to bad at drawing as well as which route they took (and how much affection he has towards them.) So this can vary from him getting embarrassed that Darling is trying to draw him from a 3/4ths angle to, to him brushing hair away from Darling's face that gets them flustered, to talking about Hyugo and others. It all really depends on previous interactions. At the end, while Darling is leaving, Sol will ask for their number as a way to keep in touch with them for the project. Upon leaving, they'll also see a poster for the Hallow's Ball. Upon returning to the dorm and eating, Darling will talk to their other friends, Geo, Deryl, Brittney, Jess and Krowe about the ball. They will then text Sol about the ball, who seems hesitant, but ultimately agrees to go knowing Darling is going. The last scene is Sol masturbating to Darling's messages, implying he's done it before and that he's happy that they finally were able to talk.
So first thing I have to say off the bat is I really like the designs of all the characters. They all have their own charm and are unique, which I can always appreciate. I also like that Brittney isn't really like the mean girl she's depicted as she is considering she pretty much just asks Darling to come eat with them and basically only really fights when she gets attacked first. Kind of a minor thing, but I do like it. Small animation in the main menu is nice as well. One of the things I think is cool is that there are slightly different reactions to how you meet Sol when the two of you draw each other, which can lead to different CGs and dialogue, which is a subtle but nice way to give bits of information about them and more interaction with him without having to write out a bunch of scenes.
Sol as a yandere, well there's currently not a ton considering it's a demo, however, we still do get a semi good idea on what he does know. For one, we know that Sol has been stalking Darling for a while, given his comments at the end, and that he has been listening to their voice for a bit. I do like seeing his more flustered reactions in some cases, like when Darling sits on his lap or when they're drawing him, because flustered yanderes are the best. It's likely that he probably got a favor for Hyugo on his route, considering it's very coincidental, and it would make sense that he would manipulate the situation so that he would end up hanging out with Darling. Sol it seems has been dealt a hard hand in life, considering he always gets bullied or otherwise hurt by others. Still, this could also in itself be a manipulation tactic in terms of getting Darling to care about him, which would make him technically a Damsel yandere, something I would be very happy to see, since that's something that I would love to see more in yandere content in general. But yeah, other than that he seems like emo (gothic? punk? I don't know styles), and a bit awkward.
Overall, he seems very cute and the game itself is very well made. I hope we get to see more of it in the future because it does seem like something that does have a lot of potential in what kind of yandere can come later on.

As they step out of Aqualette.
Jade: Azul are you alright
Floyd: Yeah Azul
Azul: I’m alright. Rielle just wanted to give his apologies from when we were younger.
Jade and Floyd: Really
Round 5!
Start - Daydreamers (pt.2) - Jungleheart (Ch.3) - Aqualetta (Ch.4)
Potential
Tumblr media
Rollo paused and turned to look at the trio of fishmen. "Who's Rielle?"
"The prince of Coral Sea." Jade responded. "And one of Azul's childhood bullies."
He blinks and looks at Azul as he adjusts his glasses. "Bullies? You were bullied?"
"Yeah~" Floyd chirped. "Back when Azul was a little Octo-mmph!"
Azul had shoved his hand over his mouth. "Enough."
"If you are done with your conversation." They turned to see Jamil with his arms crossed. "I'm going to assume she wasn't there by the fact that she isn't with you."
"Ah, Jamil-san... you're right." Azul sighed. "Rielle said she might be in Potential."
Jamil's frown deepen as Kalim perked up next to him.
"Oh! We get to Jahzi!" Kalim pulled Jamil's arm in direction of an archway with an emblem of a genie's lamp on it. "Rollo, you too!"
"Kalim-" Jamil tried to say as he and Rollo were forced through the portal.
The heat blasted Rollo in the face as they emerged on the other side. Before them stood a massive marketplace with what looked like a palace in the background. Potential dorm members were walking around the makeshift city and conversing with one another as they seemed to be buying the crafts created by the other dorm members. Jamil was quick to pull up his hood and hide his face as Kalim looks around with glee.
"Let's see." He opened his mouth to yell. "Jah-Mmph!"
Jamil covered his ward's mouth and hissed out. "Kalim, we're not supposed to be drawing attention to ourselves."
"Oh, right. My bad!" He smiled and took off further into the dorm. "Let's look around!"
"Kalim!" Jamil followed after him, leaving Rollo sighing and running a hand down his face.
"I'm going to confide myself to Ramshackle after this little adventure." He grumbled to himself and, regrettable, followed the pair.
They got to the walkway above the market before someone greeted them.
"Kalim."
The trio were faced with a teenager with long brown hair and red eyes staring at them. Beside him was a taller and stockier tiger beastman, his ears twitched on top of his orange and black hair.
"Jahzi!" Kalim rushed to hug his cousin. "Hi, Amur!"
Jahzi staggered back as he took the full force of his cousin's hug as Amur steadied him.
"Hello, Al-Asim."
"Sevens, Kalim, as happy as I am to see you, why are you in RSA?" Jahzi's eyes moved up as he glared at Jamil. "With Viper of all people."
"Jahzi." Jamil crossed his arms and glared back. "We're here because your classmate kidnapped an NRC student."
"Was it the girl who was here earlier?" Amur asked with a flick of his tail.
"So she was here....at a point?" Rollo sighed. "This is a cat and mouse chase..."
"Am I right in assuming she's your betrothed?" Amur tilts his head. "Although, how a woman of her skill wound up in NRC is a mystery."
"Indeed..." He tried ignoring that tiger basically said they were engaged.
"So we know she's not here." Jamil pulled Kalim back by his cardigan. "We should be going."
Jahzi tighten his grip on Kalim. "Why not have him stay here? You can pick him up later, Viper."
"We're leaving now."
"What's the rush?"
"Jahzi-"
"Now, now, no fighting in the dorm." They paused to see a short brown haired and tan skinned student walking towards them. "Jahzi, c'mon."
Jahzi sighed and let Kalim go as the white haired Al-Asim laughed. "Riley, you're back."
"Yeah." He gave Jahzi a kiss on the cheek. "Saw a bunch of people in the lobby and got curious as to what was going on. Manged to piece together that they're here for Yuu, no doubt." He moved away from the teen and stuck his hand out to Rollo. "You're Rollo, right? I'm Riley Nights, Dorm leader of Potential. Jahzi is my vice and Amur is his retainer."
Rollo blinked and shook his hand. "Yes, how did you know?"
"Yuu informed me that her boyfriend and the other NRC students were on their way over. I'm sorry for what Neige and Chen'ya did." Riley sighed. "And now Phara's been thrown into the mix...."
Rollo looked at Riley and paused as he felt not a drop of magic coming from him. "I see..."
"She's over in Nevemela, sorry again for all the trouble."
"Thank you, Riley." Jamil pulled Kalim towards the entrance.
"You're welcome, Viper." Riley pulled his own Al-Asim away. "May we meet again on better terms."

If Severus had been a girl, her story would have been mostly the same as canon, except that the Marauders maybe wouldn't have been so harsh with their bullying because "she wasn't a threat to James' crush on Lily" and "she's just a girl, girls are fragile". However, she would have still been in love with her and James knew that, so he still despised her, thinking she was holding Lily back from him.
Now unto my personal headcanons (because they fit and they make me happy):
- Fem! Severus wouldn't have shared a room with Mulciber and Avery, so she would have befriended her female roommates instead. I believe the fanaticism for the Death Eaters cult was more prominent in boys than girls, because society expected them to stay at home and raise more purebloods than participate in battles. However, she would've still hung out with them because they shared the same interest for Dark Arts.
-Her roommates would be Dorcas Meadow, Pandora Rosier (Evan Rosier's cousin) and Theresa Flint (the last one is an oc of mine)
- She would be a tomboy for the first few years, having her hair cut short and wear the male uniform instead of the female one. Partly because she's used to wearing boy clothes and partly to avoid embarrassing pranks from the Marauders. Due to this, she's often mistaken for a boy and fits in better with her male classmates.
- She knows wizards are more respected that witches, so she strives to imitate a masculine appearance to earn that (at first). It's not a case of "I'm not like other girls". She wants to survive.
- She's been infatuated with Lily since they met, but this crush wears off as Snape sees Lily's selfishness and hypocrisy. By the time their friendship is over, Snape is already disillusioned with her but still tries to hold into their old bond out of emotional attachment rather than love.
- She faced her own prejudice and hardships in Slytherin for being a poor half-blood, with a disgraced pureblood mother. She only earned her place when she showed off her talent and bested a few of her housemates. Basically, she had to win fights, physical and magical, against her own housemates until they deemed she deserved to be in Slytherin.
-In canon, Lucius took Snape under his wing and treated him like a brother in Hogwarts. In this, it's Narcissa who sees the potential in Snape and practically adopts her, and Lucius follows her example. Thanks to the older girl, Snape experiences nice clothes and good school tools for the first time. Narcissa is quite her sugar mommyl, but Snape is also her pet project.
- She's a bit of "one of the boys", although they're not really friends until fourth year. The boys were Mulciber, Avery, Wilkes and Rosier. They accepted her because they didn't really consider her a girl and they begrudgingly respected her skills. It was a mutual understanding that they used each other for their own benefits, Snape helping them with her intellect and spells while they helped her into getting assimilated with the other Slytherins. As they grew and got to know Snape beyond her blood status, they became protective of her and started to cherish her truly as a friend (althought Rosier took it to another level)
-Which brings us to my next headcanon. In my au, Rosier and Snape had a nice connection on first year when they sat together during History of Magic. He's one of the few that was welcoming of Snape since the start and always treated her like an equal. She's very fond of him because of it, and they grow to be very close friends.
-Regulus still looked up to her when they were students. He didn't trust her at first, because of her blood status and all, but seeing she had Narcissa's favour, he decided to look past it. And after witnessing her talent, he decided he wanted to learn more about her, so he began to follow her around to know her better. Snape was annoyed initially, but she eventually appreciated his company.
-She showed some genuine kindness to Barty Crouch Jr on his first year at Hogwarts, and the boy latched unto her like an eager puppy since then. That's how he befriended Regulus, with both of them following her around so often.
-They were both her little brothers, her precious babies, who couldn't do nothing wrong even if they tried. She was patient and permissive with them in a way she definitely wasn't with her other friends.
-She's the brain of the group, so she's usually saving their asses from the consequences of their actions (Mulciber, Avery and Wilkers) and helping them with their schemes (Dorcas, Rosier and Narcissa).
-In her desire to remain in Lily's life and have the girl's love, Snape repressed herself and kept her Slytherin friends at arms' length, which caused many arguments. When she and Lily had that fallout, Snape fully embraced her identity and, in return, her housemates embraced her too, as if they had been waiting for her.
-She was a natural Occlumens, unconsciously developing her ability while she learnt to mask her feelings and thoughts, product of the abuse and harassment she went throught.
-Her boggart used to be her father, Tobias Snape, but after "the prank", it became a werewolf instead.
-After what happened in the Shrieking Sack, she inmersed herself in researchs about lycanthropy and possible cures in order to forget her fear.
-When she experimented with potions, she tried them first on small animals, mostly rats and birds. Then bigger animals, like owls and cats. And lately, in the final phase of testing, she tried them on herself. Only her friends knew about this practise, since Snape made them promise to not tell a soul, since she didn't trust the Hogwarts staff to be understanding about it.
-When something goes wrong on the final test, she heals in the privacy of her bed while her friends take care of her, lying to the teachers that she's sick. They dread this practise of hers, since they can't stand seeing her in pain, but also had mad respect for her because of it.
-She was a control freak, obsessively cleaning and arranging her stuff with systems only she understands. She always knew when someone touched her things, just by seeing them moved the slighest bit to the different position she left them. Her housemates knew better than disrupt her order.
-Her talent with potions surpassed even Slughorn himself, but he preferred to praise Lily because her looks and attitude fit more in his club. He came to regret that decision years later, but Snape knows how to keep grudges.
-She considered Mulciber, Avery, Dorcas, Pandora, Rosier, Regulus and Barty her closest friends within Slytherin. The rest were just acquaintances. She was also close to Aurora Sinistra, from Ravenclaw, and Charity Burbage, from Hufflepuff.
-She and Charity danced around the lines separating friendship from romance for a while, but Snape wasn't ready for that step and Charity moved on. They remained good friends.
-She was a raging bisexual, because obviously.
-She didn't support the Death Eaters' beliefs, but she really looked up to the figure of Lord Voldemort. A poor half-blood like her, who paved his way to the top of the hierarchy with his charms, wit and power, making all the pureblood families submit to him. He was everything she aspired to be, everything she wanted to have. However, she soon realized her vision didn't exactly match reality...
And that's all. I have more but I wrote too much already. I'm on a hyperfixation, so I'll definitely write more about her in the future.
Feel free to tell me your own ideas or headcanons. I'll love to discuss them.
Tagging @love-the-purple-cat because she's also a fem! Snape stan. She has an amazing au, so go and check her!

and i totally agree with what you said! i just hate hate this trend of painting annoying or unimportant characters as actually misunderstood! like no, they're just annoying.
I obliviously get that the other sisters are not as fleshed out as elizabeth and jane are, but marys only scenes are her having that holier-than-thou attitude.
we see why the bennets don't work as a family unit, and we see the flaws of each member (which are the parents fault anyway) but I need people to understand that marys moralizing attitude (idk how else to describe it) is a flaw as much as kitty, lydia and mrs bennets impropriety and mr bennets careless attitude are. she's not the shy kid who cannot speak in class and spends recess reading alone. she's the kid who constantly interrupts her classmates to add unnecessary stuff when the teacher asks them a question, the one who tries to be the teachers pet but fails ; and she spends recess alone because she's above socializing (which she would announce proudly as everyone awkwardly stares at her)
like i don't even have anything against her, i even found the endgame romance cute but the mischaracterization in this book is something else, and it borders on misogyny when every other female character is turned into satan 2.0. to uplift mary (which shows a lot)
mrs bennet apparently has it out for her because she's not as gorgeous as jane, despite the fact that kitty and lydia were not described as beauties, they just have social skills (taken too far but still)
caroline apparently spends her free time bullying her but it's okay! she will be some guy's booty call as karma (even if that goes completely against her character )
elizabeth and jane are basically cinderellas stepsisters and charlotte is the evil stepmother, and their sole goal is to make marys life hell and have her end up in the streets :((
like if people are just so obsessed with mary then just write a sequel about her and kitty slowly becoming better and finding husbands and having their HEA by using the material given at the end of the book.
wish people would put all this time and energy into making worthy adaptations of underrated austen novels. asked the universe for some and I got this and persuasion 2022 💀 for all I know the next adaptation will be a lady susan-esque movie about the misunderstood mrs bennet, forced to marry evil mrs bennet and deep down just a little fierce :(
sorry for the long and a bit sour rant btw, and thanks for reading regardless, I was glad to find another person who seemed to hate it as much
This is about my dislike of The Other Bennet Sister
I have a whole, very long essay about the treatment of Caroline Bingley in fan fiction and misogyny.
When Mary spent time with the Darcys, my vibe was, "Ew, they are so disgustingly in love I can't stay here." Which was... a thing.
Enjoyed your rant!

Trying to Organize my writing brain, so writing this to get it out of my brain meats
FFXIV x BnHA
When Izuku is (second/third grade age) he and his mother are caught in one of the early instant villain attacks. And the guy who was tagged may have had enough secondary mutations to look like he had a heteromorphic quirk, but his actual quirk was a warper. And dosed up on trigger it was enough to warp the two people closest to him (Inko and Izuku) clear to another world
Inko and Izuku are zapped to Hydaelan and are quickly found by a minstrel who seems to have some kind of precog quirk and a man with a cat quirk
The two explain that they're on another world, this has happened before and usually sorts itself, but they're happy to help
It shows no signs of sorting itself out. The adventurer mentions he at least has a house he doesn't use often in Limsa, so offers to let them stay there
Inko and Izuku are flabbergasted to discover quirks flat out don't exist in this world. Inko is literally the only quirked person on the planet.
Izuku realized in this world being quirkless wouldn't stop him from being a hero!
He's bummed to learn he still can't be a hero because that's not a job here. Like there's adventurer, but that can run the gamut from errand boy to god-killer.
The adventurer (Aki Sha'gai) helps them settle in. He teaches them about this world and things like using Aetherite travel, and listens when Inko reminisces about her old friends and Izuku talks about heroes and quirk theory. When it becomes obvious they have no way home Inko decides to get a job and he gets her an interview at the Bismark. Her knowledge of 'Doman' cuisine gets her in the door instantly.
There's a bottle of Fantasia in the house. Their host said they were free to use it as he had no use for it, but didn't want to sell a gift.
Izuku had body image problems. Nothing directly tied to appearance, but spending a lot of his formative years being told his body was wrong stuck with him. He knows at one point he's going to use it, but tries to hold out.
He eventually gives in and after playing with races and gender presentation in his dream, ends up becoming a Mi'quote like Sha'gai-san. (Roegdalyn and Hrothgar just felt too far from his image to himself, Elezen too close, and he didn't want to be short forever to Lalafell was out. He basically coin-tossed between Mi'quote, Veira, and Au Ra)
Upon waking up his mother inquired about the change and panicking (still doesn't want to tell her about the bullying) blurts out that he wanted to look more for that Dad that had to travel for work but always came back and listened and cared for him, as opposed to the man who abandoned him without a second thought.
Inko cries because she didn't realize her separation from Hisashi had bothered him so much. Aki was just 'He sees me as a father?' and immediately becomes full Dad. Izuku's okay with this.
It actually takes years for Izuku to realize his new Da is this world's equivalent to All Might. (He heard stories of the Warrior of Light, but never by given name. And none of Da's friends call him that.
It's not until he take Inko and Izuku on a vacation that they hear him referred to as such and Izuku needs a bit to cope
Aki and Inko are not in a relationship, they're just co-raising a kid
Izuku starts studying Red Magic and hope to be an Adventurer and a member of the Scions (aka his Aunts and Uncles).
Meanwhile All For One repurposes the quirk that sent them there to turn it into Warp Gate. The destruction of the original quirk reverses it's effect. Izuku and Inko are home
Neither are as happy about that as they thought they'd be. But at least between his magic and his cat mutation no one's saying Izuku can't be a hero
Bakugou: Why are you a cat?!?!
Izuku still end up in Class 1-A, doing much better as he actually knows how to control his powers here.
USJ happens. Izuku has hi rapier and is ready to fight to the bitter end to protect his classmates
The air opens with a crack and the Warrior of Light breaks through, having been trying to find his son since he and Inko vanished off the face of the Earth
The League of Villains have a bad time

TWST AU girlies~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are my OCs for twisted wonderlands all girls au. It's basically if NRC was an all girls school with a different cast. I've already posted some of the girls from this au. That's a bit of a continuation with some info. Phoebe Fleur = twisted from Evil Queen's throne Least = twisted from the Dormouse Martha = twisted from March Hare So, Phoebe is a mean girl. She comes from an elite family of artists, and she's extra proud of it. She's an art piece herself and only has respect for other artists and nobles. She's a fangirl of the dorm leader Clarissa who is an idol and a total hater of Lynne, the vice dorm leader who just happens to be a misfit in the dorm. Phoebe has a small friend group who bully other students, with her being the leader. Bullying and gossiping are some of her favourite things to do except drawing. Such a mean and horrible girl however has a nicer side that you can only see if you meet her criteria of respect that Least did. Least is another first year, and she's in the same class as Phoebe and was at first a victim of her bullying. Phoebe didn't do much and apologised as soon as she learnt that Least is actually a fanfic writer, so she got a pass. Least is extremely shy and quite socially awkward, as she was homeschooled before coming to NRC. She is too kind and a bit naive, relies on others too much and overall doesn't seem to belong to NRC, with her being one of the nicest people you can meet here. Back to the Phoebe-Least friendship, it's actually quite wholesome. Least is the sunshine and Phoebe is the sunshine protector in their friendship, and as soon as they're together they seem to share a braincell. They're very silly young girls doing stupid stuff and daydreaming, shipping their classmates and adding salt instead of sugar to each other's tea. They both are very much into shipping their seniors, even though they have different pairings that they're always arguing about. Then, there's Martha, Least's older sister and Heartslabyul's vice. She is serious and responsible, patient and reliable. She basically keeps the dorm in shape, despite doing the least amount of work(because the dorm leader is actually good). Martha is very caring and protective of Least and at first disapproved of her friendship with Phoebe as you shouldn't really befriend your bullies, but she eventually got along with it because Phoebe didn't do anything bad to her sister. It takes a very long time to get Martha's approval, as she's just too protective of her sister. You said something bad about Least? Run, Martha's coming. She's basically babying her sister at this point, though she has her reasons. Beside being her sister's protector, she is also protective of her girlfriend Nadja, Scarabia's dorm leader. They're so in love with each other that they're probably settled for life.

weird but maybe simple question: why does lila exist if chloe was going to go from a possible redemption arc back into a bully? if you've already got one bully character, why add another one? should i just blame TA like i do for most things?
Yeah basically.
Seriously if you are giving Chloé a redemption arc, then Lila easily fills the hole left by her in that we need a smaller-scale antagonist for the Civilian B-Plots of the episodes.
What I mean by this is episodes like Season 1's Darkblade. Where the A-Plot is the thing with Hawkmoth and the Akuma of the Day, but the B-Plot is about the class election. Both plots tie into one another and have their respective antagonists at believable scales, Hawmoth being the Big Bad and Chloé being a problem that Mari can't superhero away but she has to deal with the way any normal girl would.
With Chloé getting better, you wouldn't have as many episodes with her as a direct antagonist. She can still cause conflict, such as it is with Season 3 episodes like Miraculer where she did something to spark a problem, but she's much like any of the other classmates who screws up and feels bad about it and works to fix it by the end(though she's still learning so it's a touch shakier than if Mari did it). But she's not a direct antagonist who is causing problems for Marinette on purpose.
This is where Lila comes in. She replaces Chloé's role as Civilian Antagonist. Someone in Marinette's normal life that she can't just fix by becoming Ladybug(for the most part), she has to work around whatever they're doing.
And similarly to how the A-Plot upped the stakes by making them have to deal with not just Akumas but also Sentimonsters, Lila similarly ups the stakes in the B-Plot by being an upgrade to Chloé's meanness. Lila is a bully, but she's also a manipulator. She's not someone who just insults Mari and abuses power but can be rallied against by an inspiring speech. The class thinks that Lila is a good person and she's here to play people against each other by manipulating them.
However.
When TA decided to scrap Chloé's redemption arc and shove Zoé into her role on the Team, there was no longer a place for her. Lila had already become the main antagonist for the B-Plots, and if they make Chloé an effective antagonist then that takes away from Lila's importance and building her up as a more dangerous bully and the next big bad. So they nerf Chloé into being mean but incompetent to keep Lila as 'better'.
So yeah they don't really know what to do with Chloé because she's been replaced as both Hero and Villain, so all they /can/ do is make her mean but such a pathetic threat.

If you did not notice yet, this entire account is litterally a response to SullyTheLightnerd's opinion on Krusie (for the love of GOD don't harrass him, it's just a game), which he thinks is a boring, unoriginal MxF-like ship, that had no actual buildup in the game, and that Toby Fox avoided an annoying, dull trope by favouring Suselle. So, I made some posts about Kris' views on Susie to make a better counterargument to this. But if you want a more personal respones, here goes: I don't think he knows what he's talking about. This is a big claim, but I believe he doesn't understand why certain tropes are the way they are. That isn't without counting the fact that classmate x reformed bully isn't exactly common, and Suselle is full of tropes, even though that's not necessarely a bad thing.
In reddit he gave a bit more detailed explanation for his distaste, and it was that Kris ending up with any of the other party members would ruing his immersion because character x best friend was an annoying overdone trope. Basically what I just said, but slightly more specific.
To his hatred towards the trope, I must ask this: what? If we lived in a world were characters could NEVER have a crush on people close to them, these romance plots would often, but not always, end up REALLY shallow, and depending of the story, might even butcher it's own potential. The reason why this trope happens in the first place is to give that ship weight, to emphatize how much these people care, LOVE each other. And even then, Kris and Susie were anything but best friends at the start of the game.
The other part, about Krusie being First "boy" x first girl ship. Yeah, i know it seems like another overdone trope, but it makes a lot of sense WHY it happens so much, because they're the characters that have interacted and GROWN with each other the most. This isn't a norm, but it's something that happens a lot, which means that perhaps, if one of these characters ends up with another character, this ship might not have as much ground, or even feel disatisfying, because they haven't had as much development, if any. On a related note, if Kris was a girl, then this wouldn't really be a problem, no? Therefore, the only problem here is Kris' gender, and if we're deciding if Krusie is goog or not based on gender, then I don't know what to tell you. If Noelle was in Kris' place, and with a different gender, would Suselle no be as good of a ship as before? It would be the same thing, with MORE development, but with different gender. So take that as you will.
All in all, I don't wish any harm towards Sully, and I made a promise to myself to not be bitchy about this, as to not emulate that terrible response video from Kooki and Shadowhaxxer to Jaru about Ralsei. I hope I delivered. I'm still thinking about Krusie part 3, which will talk about Susie specifically. Take care❤️

Happy Storyteller Saturday! Lisabelle and Agnes Black share a sirname, are they related? Do they get along well?
don't know if you meant to write sirname instead of surname or if it's a typo but it kinda slaps. sirname, the name you're sired with. interesting idea
yes, they're sisters! Lisabel is the younger one, being six years younger than Agnes. she's... well, "complicated" would be an understatement. she's got untreated ASPD (guess personality disorders run in the family huh), so ever since she was a little girl she's felt something was wrong with her, but didn't let that stop her from learning from her surroundings and mimetizing herself into whatever social context she wants. it's not that something's wrong with her, it's that everyone else are just idiots! yes, that must be the reason why she's different. she's manipulative, calculating and has subzero empathy towards most people, but since she was so smart and always looked so innocent and was the teachers' pet, she almost never got in actual school trouble. she took advantage of everything she could, including teachers, other classmates and even her own sister at some points, although she does feel some attachment towards her, even to the point of using her tools to dissuade people from messing with her at school
another important trait of hers is her morbid curiosity. she was the kind of girl to poke dead animals, put salt on a snail to see what happens or step on a chick that's fallen out of its nest too early to see how it looks on the inside. her lack of empathy plays a big role on this, and ironically, kids at school were more scared of her than her big sister Agnes who was much more physically imposing and openly threatening. if you bothered Lisabel in any way, you would soon find a live or dead animal in your locker or class desk, either about to die or gruesomely dismembered. and then you'd never want to be left alone in the same room with her ever again
they weren't extremely close, but there was a bond, regardless of its nature. they both had to go through bullying at school, and they had each other's backs through their not-so-great childhood, even if they didn't show their affection towards each other in common ways. then they got separated once Agnes left their hometown and she was like *shrug* ohwell, then she left town trying to get through med school, promptly got kicked out of med school for malpractice (is that even possible? i literally made that up lmao) and would've had to resign herself to having a normie life with a normie job while suppressing her unethical urges. thankfully, Agnes managed to plug her in with Ryan and he ended up hiring her for his crime organization as an "intel extractor", skyrocketing her sociopathic tendencies to previously unknown (and very illegal) levels. living the life, basically!
in conclusion, they get along just fine. kind of a "you're both fucked up but perfect for each other, never include anyone else in your relationship" situation, but it works for them. Lisabel is there when Agnes needs her, and Agnes is there when Lisabel needs her, regardless of the things they might dislike from each other. a deep, silent bond between them
kinda unrelated but not as much as you'd think, Spooky Askbox is open as a STS sub-event! swing by with an ask about my OCs, Halloween theme optional!

the release of thr coffin of andrew and renee had me thinking about the idea of making my own self-indulgent mod... except it's more like a spin-off/inspired game than an actual mod of tcoaal...
(ranting and coffin art)
Tumblr media
i would've taken heavy liberties with the story since it's an oc-insert type of deal. i'd put put a disclaimer to basically say "this doesn't follow canon for the most part, i'm just fucking around and having fun". new graphics thag are more my art style with it being nemlei-inspired as some sort of connection to its roots.
difference in story, battle mechanics in the "dream world" because i like the idea of exploring the psyche in that manner (whether i'm good at it or not... is actually obvious: i suck at it ^^;). giving nina and julia more scenes/importance in the story, or at least emphasizing their roles more in some way. more flashbacks to explore and cement the siblings past (especially since i'm adding two freaks in there and have to play it off as normal) and more shit to do in the overworld (or "waking world", please don't come at me for these names :<)
npcs to talk to, locations to discover, items to collect and sell off to make money cause they're homeless. demon boons because i want that :( sorta like the cult of the lamb tarot cards or the god boons from hades. different routes to branch off in, silly dumb routes that end in silly dumb deaths, and different outfits to wear that may or may not change the story or gameplay because i wanna...
Tumblr media
these are all just thoughts in my head though, and i'll need to start and finish my fic, the monsters mother made, before i EVER think of working on a fucking mod/fan-game because the fic would be the script for this project. i would also need like $80 to buy rpg maker and then the free time and the creativity and... yeah, i think i'll just daydream about it instead for now
silly thoughts i've had for this:
siblings pretend to be a cult leader for money (joke death)
a dream-linked puzzle that requires two siblings to work together to complete (if it's specifically amy, she needs to have a breakdown over not being able to solve it by herself before she realizes that she needs clues from the other sibling to solve it)
detective outfit
amy utilizing her ability to mimic others handwriting
collectable trinkets/items that unlock memories and lore ig
prom memory
trans andrew ending
the van they steal doubles as a mini shared bed(room?)
"family" dinner
nina and amy's relationship (a dog that can kill for its master can also just kill its master)
flashback to where amy almost killed a bully
diary page where amy writes about killing her classmates and gets away with it
amy and ashley being annoy little sisters to andrew
new apartment layout so it can accommodate four children and two parents
a new apartment building to hide secrets in
another apartment build for when alexis brings his siblings over
a real family dinner
dorm building and room for julia
death or defiance?
let's split up gang
fanfic logic written well enough so that it hopefully doesn't sound out of character even if it is out of character
also major canon divergence (major major, like this is a different school, sorry ur lost)
original shitty bandcamp music written by me
it's all by me actually i cannot ask for help from other people
more colors
... and maybe more or less
yeah... uh, self-indulge

ES Journeys Main Cast: Axel the Shiny Eevee
Hey guys, I'm back again to talk about another ES Journeys character. You're probably questioning what am I talking about as I went through all 9 of them but there was one more I didn't do yet because I wanted to get the original 9 done with first. Anyway, this post is about the Shiny Pokemon himself, Axel the Shiny Eevee. If you didn't see the last few posts then here are the posts for Speed, Crystal, Flare, Sunshine, Pearl, Leaf, Lazuli, Black, and Silvia.
If you don't know what ES Journeys is, go to this post.
(Note: Not everything is fully fleshed out. These are just the main ideas I have and am currently trying to flesh out)
Axel Axel is an interesting character for a couple reasons though it isn't because of writing reasons. He's a Shiny Eevee, Pearl's cousin, shipped with Sunshine, lives with the group after the Vacation Arc and... yeah... that's all he's got.
Axel is alright to me though there are some issues I have with him which I want to try to fix in ES Journeys.
Personality So Axel is both the same and different in terms of personality for this AU. When Axel debuted in the comic he was pretty happy and social with others even though he was bullied a lot. I personally had an issue with this because if I was bullied relentlessly for how I looked in school I wouldn't be so happy like how he was in the comic. Basically what I'm saying here is that Axel isn't gonna be as happy as he was in the comic which I'll further explain going down.
Axel in ES Journeys during his debut is a lot more quiet and nonsocial. He's often alone and likes to stay away from other Pokemon outside his family. Axel's reason for staying away from others is because he assumes the worst that everyone will bully him since he was bullied a lot in school and as a result from that, he doesn't trust anyone aside from his family and doesn't try with making any friends. Even after meeting Sunshine, when it comes to other Pokemon he was still nonsocial around others and doesn't try making friends though this changes in Alola.
When Sunshine became Axel's first ever friend, he would always be happy and playful around her as he really enjoys her company and valued their friendship. When Sunshine and Axel were in school in Alola and he saw her having fun with other Pokemon, he would often get jealous and sometimes be a bit possessive of her but only because he didn't want to lose the only friend he had. He does get over this behavior thanks to Sunshine and his fellow classmates.
Despite Axel's mistrust and loneliness, Axel has a good heart so he cares about others and is willing to go through great lengths for others, especially to those he considers his friends whether it's helping them out or trying to protect them from other bullies.
When it comes to battling, while Axel isn't old enough to participate in it he's excited about it and is pretty good at it as shown in places like school. As the son of Bolt who was a former competitive battler, Axel is a hug fan of the sport and wants to become one when he grows up.
Axel only sees Sunshine as a friend and she sees him as a friend as well. Not everything has to be a romantic relationship.
Moves, Ability, and Battle Style Axel is much stronger than his comic self as he actually gets to fight while also watching competitive battles both in person and on TV and training with both his school friends and the Eeveelution Squad. His battle style is pretty basic.
Axel has a range of various moves. His movelist and when they're learned: -Tackle (SM) -Quick Attack (SM) -Double Kick (SM) -Sand Attack (SM) -Iron Tail (SM) -Shadow Ball (SM) -Veevee Volley (SM) -Breakneck Blitz (SM; Z-Move)
Axel's ability is Adaptability. This ability increases the power of his moves that are the same type as his which is Normal-Type.
Axel's Backstory Axel hatched on March 18, 2010 and he was raised by her mom, Rin and his dad, Bolt. He lives in Goldenrod City of the Johto region.
During his early childhood, Axel would be visited by Pearl and her family often. Pearl would often be the one watching over him whenever his parents were out and the two would grow close with each other.
In April of 2013, Axel attends school for the first time. While in school, Axel would get picked on for his shiny appearance often and it really hurts him. Axel would tell his parents and Pearl about this and while they try telling to school to get the bullying to stop, nothing changed. His family would have to comfort Axel every time he comes back home upset while he becomes less happy and social. He would have to endure the bullying for the rest of the year.
In 2014, Axel meets Sunshine along with the rest of the Eeveelution Squad who just arrived in Goldenrod City. Sunshine tried to talking to Axel but he ignored and avoided her. Eventually she manages to get him to talk and soon the two become friends.
Axel's Journey In Gold and Silver, Axel makes his debut when the Eeveelution Squad arrive in Goldenrod City. When he first met Sunshine and the rest of the Eeveelution Squad excluding Pearl, he avoided them and didn't want to talk. During their stay in the city, Axel does eventually talk to Sunshine after she tried speaking to him several times before. He opens up about his problems with being bullied because of his appearance and assumes she along with the rest of the group would make fun of him but to his surprise, Sunshine thought he looked cool. Eventually Sunshine becomes Axel's first friend and the two would play together often whenever the team returns to Goldenrod City during their Johto journey.
From Ruby and Sapphire to Black & White, Axel shows up with the rest of his family to watch the Eeveelution Squad compete in the regional conferences.
In Sun & Moon, Axel officially joins the main cast and attends school with Sunshine in Alola. During the beginning of their time in school, Axel mostly hung around Sunshine and didn't want to interact with anyone else. When Sunshine started to hangout with the rest of their classmates, Axel gets a bit possessive of her but soon stops this behavior after talking with Pearl. Axel's time in Alola helped him become open with others and make friends while also getting stronger by training with some of his classmates and some members of the Eeveelution Squad.
In Sword & Shield, Axel and Sunshine were left behind in Kanto to attend school in Vermilion City. During their time there, Axel befriends Pokemon that are mentioned in the after story of the comic. Axel gets bullied again in school as it's not as welcoming as Alola's but instead of letting himself be knocked down, he picks himself up and inspires others to do the same like Marcel.
In Master Journeys, Axel with Sunshine are either attending school or going on an adventure with the Eeveelution Squad. During their time in school, Axel becomes friends with Goh (The guy who's with Ash in Pokemon Journeys). He helps Goh learn to be more social with others as he saw himself with him.
And that's all I have to say about about Axel the Shiny Eevee in ES Journeys. With him done I finally finished talking about all the main cast members of my ES AU for real this time. There's some minor stuff I didn't mention but maybe I'll make a post about random facts about him. What do you guys think of it?
Now that I finished with all the main characters for real this time, I might make a character post other ES characters that are side characters or rivals like Trace, Gai, or any of the parents. Who are you interested in seeing a post about? Let me know in the comments. Until then, bye everyone!

I have trouble understanding how bullying works in Paper Man. Are the Bowers gang really a bunch of bullies or is that just their reputation?
Vic clearly doesn't like to fight, although he does when he has to, he clearly seems annoyed with all the trouble the gang brings him.
Belch the same, he seems nice and doesn't seem to fight when it's not necessary, he uses his reputation and his scary/imposing build to get people to leave him alone or get what he wants (like the burgers lol), but he doesn't seem like the type to bully (maybe I'm biased by my vision of the character).
Patricio is just carrying around his reputation as a weird guy who kills animals, so he's enjoying it, but is he actively a bully?
For Henry it is another story. We saw it the day he returned, he was ready to attack a freshman because he was dressed differently (Evelyn's legs saved the poor kid that day)
I really love your story, I jump on all the chapters as soon as they come out on Ao3, thank you for your work.
Are they bullies? I guess that depends on who you ask 😂
I think most students, especially the upperclassmen, view them as a nuisance, nothing more. Henry and his friends don't run the school. They're not popular. They have little influence over the greater student body. They're just... there, basically.
For example: Liz Mueller, a senior and the most popular girl in school, didn't even know who Henry Bowers was until she thought about it for a while, and even then he was reduced to: "The kid who always looks like he's gonna stab somebody?" Henry's not even on her radar. That's how insignificant he is.
See, Henry and his gang mostly target the underclassmen and the less popular upperclassmen (like Paul and Lenny, the geeks and the nerds). To these kids, they absolutely are bullies and they make high school really annoying, especially Henry Bowers. When he's in school, all the vulnerable students need to be on high alert. They need to watch what they say, what they do, because anything—anything—can set off Henry's temper. He's been compared to a landmine and I think that's pretty accurate. One wrong move and kiss your ass goodbye, right?
But do students spend their lives cowering in fear of him? No, because they're used to it now. This is their reality. Henry's not going anywhere. Nobody's gonna stand up to him and stop him. So all they can do is adapt and try to survive high school as best as they can. Some have even developed a sense of humor about it. They place bets against each other. They have streak records. It's almost like a game.
Now to answer your question more thoroughly, Paper Men takes place in the 1988-89 school year. The boys are a lot older now (15-17, with Patrick being the oldest), so they're starting to outgrow that schoolyard bully phase of their lives. They're less interested in bullying little kids and more interested in going to parties, drinking, dating, etc. I'll speak about each member specifically below:
— We see this the most with Belch. He's the one who seems to be trying the hardest to move on to the next stage of his life. Right now, he's working really hard to better himself. He's got a job. He has a girlfriend. He's doing everything he can to support his mom. Out of everyone, he's the most sociable (at least with his classmates), but he still slips into old habits occasionally, which is why we often see him stealing students' lunches (sorry, Donny). Basically, if he's not with Henry, Belch is an okay guy—not a saint, but not terrible—and he's very polite to all the girls. His mother would never forgive him if he wasn't.
So, yes, Belch has no interest in being a bully, at least not anymore. It's his loyalty to Henry that keeps him in the gang. Belch feels responsible for him.
— With Vic, I agree that his heart has never been in it. Bullying takes too much energy and he's tired enough as it is. Vic absolutely hates school. It's annoying and exhausting for him. He just wants to get through the day and go home. So is he violent? Not really (although he did punch Lenny Arkins in the kidney once, hard enough to make him piss blood), but he's still far from friendly. Vic is very moody and withdrawn, and he has a razor-sharp tongue. I wouldn't be surprised if some curious girls have learned that the hard way. He still has a lot of secret admirers, though. Next to Patrick, I could see him being the most popular among girls. Just saying.
Anyway, Vic had his reasons for joining the Bowers gang, sure, but we can definitely see his patience wearing thin. He has expressed this several times throughout the story. I think hanging out with Henry used to be fun for him (he speaks fondly about their past in Ch. 12, for example); perhaps it was even a little therapeutic; but now he's feeling incredibly empty and lost. Vic's deeply dissatisfied with how his life has turned out, but he doesn't really know how to change that. He's just... stuck.
— With Patrick, I wouldn't consider him a bully, and he was never really, truly, part of Henry's group either. Yeah, he hangs out with them occasionally, when they're doing something interesting, but never for very long. He just sorta comes and goes as he pleases. He also hangs out with Martin Davers and his group.
Patrick had a nasty reputation because of what he did when he was younger, but now he's mostly known for his flirtatious/lecherous behavior. Patrick prefers it that way. Very much. Right now he's trying really hard to stay under the radar. So unless Henry is doing something deliciously violent (which Patrick would never be able to resist), Patrick prefers to quietly pursue his other hobbies. Bullying little kids doesn't interest him. He has better things to do.
— Lastly with Henry, I think we all know where he stands. He's a bully through and through. He likes to pick on people smaller and weaker than him because it makes him feel powerful. It gives him control. While everyone else is growing up and moving on with their lives, Henry seems to be getting worse. It's getting harder and harder for him to control his anger. Bullying kids isn't enough anymore. Hitting people isn't enough anymore. And I think everyone knows it's only a matter of time before he snaps.
tldr; yes they're technically bullies, especially to the underclassmen, but most of them have started to outgrow this behavior.

Relationships:
Characters I'd most like to RP with in order and how I perceive their relationships with my Yzma/Yasmine:
💜Kuzco: Kuzco is basically her annoying son whom she has a strained relationship with but does simultaneously enjoy his company. As Yasmine, she especially enjoys when Kuzco let's her hang out with him and his classmates together, as it makes her feel like a real teenage girl. As Yzma, she's kind of distant from him because they have an awkward history and she also feels too exposed. She somehow thinks that Kuzco still doesn't know that Yasmine is really her (of course he does).
💜Malina: Malina and Yzma have a weird tension going on and it's mostly due to Yzma being jealous. Yzma is not only jealous of Malina's looks and potential access to the throne (then she'd have to destroy 2 brats instead one) but secretly she's also jealous of her bond with Kuzco. Deep down she wishes she could have a deeper bond with him just as Malina does.
💜Miss Ni: I know she's just a side character but I ship them. T^T Yzma totally both admired and was intimidated by her and still would and would be if she were to meet her again. Just imagine all the evil emperor toppling dates they could go on. The villainous sapphic aunty vibes are strong to me!
💜Kronk: Oh Kronk. She misses him dearly although she won't admit it even to herself. She still keeps his star chart on her wall above the couch she sleeps on in case he ever comes back to her. She doesn't accomplish much without him around, not because he necessarily helps her plans go smoother, but because she doesn't have his encouragement and energy to motivate her. And he took Chester! Sigh.
💜 Margo Whadupper: Another side character.. Margo is Yzma's highschool bully and bitter rival to this day. Her hate for her is way stronger than her hate for Kuzco being emperor. One day she will get her revenge for the years of torment she put her through. One day she will humiliate her in front of all the former students of Unnamed Academy and show them how pathetic she truly is. How much more talented, beautiful and brilliant the great alchemist Yzma is!
💜Mr M: In my opinion this is a one sided relationship. Mr M has a thing for Yzma but Yzma doesn't really think of him much and if anything thinks he's weird. But it would still be fun to banter with him and learn about his quirky personality. Mr M kept a good relationship with the emperor post graduation, so she sometimes tries to get info out of him on the topic of Kuzco. Mr M likes to reminisce about their teacher & principal days together although she honestly doesn't remember them interacting all that much.
💜Dr Facilier: they're both purple magic wielding outcasts who turned spoiled princes into animals. I ship them a bit as a crack ship. I could see them having deep conversations too.
💜Mother Gothel: both are magic wielding old ladies who aren't on good terms with their raised children. The conversations would be fun and Yzma would be curious about the Sundrop flower lore. (I haven't watched all of the tangled series although I definitely should!)
💜Any other character. Especially other new groove franchise characters. But I'm open to RPing with anyone as long as NSFW topics are ignored. I would enjoy other disney characters although I haven't seen all the classics. Even OC's are fine. Yasmine is just a lonely girl! She needs all the friends she can get.😅

hi! would like to commission a venom au drabble if that's ok?
For sure!
---
Ah, I noted a while back that Izuku's medical records post-Oniyoshi still say he's quirkless, but that's not accurate considering other parts I've written lol. Inko did tell Izuku to say he had a quirk when he was a little kid, and he did show off his sense of smell and sharp teeth, so yeah, his falsified medical records from Dr. Oniyoshi show that he has a sensory quirk as an offshoot of his mother's light telekinesis.
So, the bulling happens more because Katsuki and others deemed his quirk useless than it is that he's quirkless. He started around the middle of the social ladder before quirks as a very kind if not slightly wimpy individual. But as quirks rolled in, he swiftly sank to the bottom when he was first diagnosed as quirkless. Him obtaining a quirk last after a long school absence, and one that wasn't visibly flashy at that, didn't improve his standing much, if at all.
Even so, Izuku becomes harder to bully over time.
He was and would always naturally be a soft, kind-hearted person, but merging with Venom hardens them a bit. After all, because of Venom, they never truly feel alone in the world. Of course, the bullying is never comfortable, but it's easier to deal with when you have friends.
Though, he quietly keeps his cursing to himself. While Izuku doesn't really curse a bunch despite knowing various words and insults, Venom finds the colorful language entertaining. They very much enjoy blunt and crude words, while Izuku does enjoy strings of sentences.
So, of course, Inky strings together sentences of the most colorful language they can imagine.
This generally doesn't slip out, but it does one particular day.
The kids at Izuku's school can mess up their gym clothes. They can call them names. They can refuse to play with them or whisper mean things about them basically out loud. Izuku does mind, but he does his best to not let it bother him.
But they protect their food quite vehemently.
They generally don't give anyone the chance to mess with it, not after the first few times when Izuku was a little kid first starting out with Venom. They usually go off somewhere to eat their food quietly, especially since it usually contains a good amount of either smelly (natto) or incredibly raw (usually salmon) items. Their lunch box isn't like most kids'.
And Inky very much enjoys food.
Izuku's most positive childhood memories are connected to food, partially because of Venom accentuating his sense of taste. Yes, they can eat just about anything, including rusted metal, but for real nutrients, especially the ones he needs, it's foods high in phenethylamine. And during a day of dealing with stressful pre-teens, they need their nutrition.
But before Izuku can leave for lunch, his teacher calls him over.
Tells him that he needs to try to get along with his peers more.
Says that he should put in more effort, otherwise, how else will he make friends?
So, the teacher walks them down to the lunch room and basically forces them into a den of wolves--a bunch of first-year middle schoolers intermixed with students from other years also on lunch.
Venom is saying curse words in All Might's accent, and Izuku keeps their face carefully neutral as he finds a quiet spot in the room to eat.
They can already hear the whispers including the "Deku" nickname applied to them without their consent. Someone shuffles, lifting from their seat, then another two people.
Just as Izuku sits down, three of his classmates sit with them.
Honestly, Inky is hungry.
They feel hungry a few times a day, so they never miss a meal. Hell, they sneak a few snacks during class, too.
Eating is a time for satiation and enjoyment, for pleasant feelings. That's why they ignore the goading and keep quiet. It's not like they're Kacchan, so there's no point in paying much attention in what they're saying.
Izuku still likes Kacchan, after all this time. Despite his brand of bullying, Izuku still thought he was really cool, even if his actions weren't always. He mostly griped at them, but otherwise acted like they didn't really exist. Kacchan sometimes got physical, but it wasn't super often.
Venom likes Kacchan, too. Not his personality, though. No, they like how he smells. Sweet and salty, like roasted caramel popcorn. Sometimes they want to lick him, though they know that would just cause the boy to explode at them.
As they think on this, they open their lunch box, revealing a well-balanced meal. Well, well-balanced for them anyway. Rice, raw salmon with the skin still on, natto, washed vegetables like broccoli and tomatoes, the works. It's a perfectly delicious-looking meal, all nicely arranged...and large. Because, despite Izuku's thin and somewhat short body, they eat quite a lot.
Just as they were about to start eating, they hear a disgusted tone and glance slightly up to see a hand reaching for their bento.
Inky dropped their chopsticks on their food and grabbed the wrist attached to that hand before their eyes, turned opal where they should've been green, flicked up to the face it belonged to.
"Reach your smegma-stained paws for our food again, and we will rip your stomach out through your asshole and feed it back through your mouth."
It takes Izuku recognizing the hushed silence around them for him to realize they said that out loud. Quite calmly, at that.
Izuku feels himself start to sweat, so he shoves the kid's wrist away before gathering his things and quickly scurrying off.
They find a nice, isolated spot behind the school and enjoy their lunch in relative peace. When lunch was over, they return to their classroom. The others are still snickering like they usually would, but it feels like something about it changed.
---
"Hey. Midoriya from 1-B, right?"
Izuku blinks, looking up as he headed home from school. The one who called out to him is a boy from a higher grade, the other's hands in his pockets, standing with his friends.
"Uhm...yeah?"
"What was your quirk again?"
"It's a sensory quirk," Izuku murmurs, the lie coming from him easily. He's told it a fair number of times now.
"How so?"
"Ah, it's mostly related to smell and taste."
"Hehe, that's what I thought. Thanks."
"Ah...sure?"
Izuku nods to them all before walking away. While a part of him wants to understand why they asked, asking about quirks was pretty common in his neighborhood. As such, they thought nothing of it, other than the little stream of nosy bastards that whispered in his head.
At least, they thought nothing of it until the next day, when students from various classes seemed to look at them with less mocking amusement. It was still amusement, sure, but it seemed they weren't quite the target for their jokes this time around.
Instead, he realized what happened when the boy they nearly growled at entered the school.
"What's up, Cheese Paws?" someone called out.
The boy immediately grimaced, keeping his head low as he went for his shoe box. Laughter followed after the announcement, and suddenly, it clicked.
Ah, right. They did say "smegma," didn't they. Well...he hadn't quite washed his hands. Though, judging from the somewhat strong chemical scent coming from the boy, he washed up quite thoroughly.
The boy who tried picking on them was known as "Cheese Paws" by mocking pre-teens and teenagers for a good while, lightening Izuku's own bullying load. Even Bakugou used it against the boy, laughing even louder when he found out where it came from.
"So you actually have a fuckin' backbone!' Kacchan grinned at him. "Gotta have something since that quirk of yours is so useless."
Izuku decided against participating. He even tried to apologize for saying what he did, though Venom disagreed. But, well, the boy never approached Izuku in class or otherwise again, so they never got the chance to say it to him in a meaningful way. The boy's friends also tended to give him the stink-eye, which...well...that was an entire other issue.
...Izuku meant what they said, but just didn't quite feel good about how it came out.
They sigh as they think about it, sitting on the bench near the sports fields during lunch. Well, despite their discomfort about the situation, at least the sun was shining, fall comfortably slipping cooler as winter was on its way.
It was coming up on salmon run season. Catching a few fish would be nice to take their mind off of everything.
"...Wuff."

(There's another part I was thinking about adding to this, but I may write that a bit later. Not for more funds, but simply cause I'm not sure if I'm actually gonna write it.)

I can't keep my weird headcanons/AUs to myself anymore and need to talk about it: #1
Siblings AU- this one's going to be long folks
Bakugou, Junko and Mukuro are all siblings. (Hear me out!!!)
We all know about the (basically canon) headcanon that bakugou's parents are fashion designers who are super wealthy and that they more than likely model things on bakugou as a child.
This but instead they just had another kid.
Another set of kids.
Junko and Mukuro are both named after famous models that they know hence why they all have different names.
Being their older sibling (even if it's just a year), Bakugou didn't really get along with these little sisters. Not in a mean way just a sibling way.
The sisters had a weirdly close relationship that he wanted no part of which created distance just a bit.
Deku did meet Junko one time when they were kids. Just like her older brother, she was definitely a bully to the boy more mentally than physically as she viewed that to be "more fun". However due to her having shorter hair in looking similar to her older brother, he just thought he was getting picked on by him instead.
Of course with the three siblings being so different their parents decided to put them onto three different paths.
Bakugou obviously went to the hero school.
Junko went to fashion schools across the world.
Mukuro went into pre-military training similar to bakugo but more civilian based.
And of course they can't really build a sibling bond if they're literally across the world from each other so it started to fade.....on bakugou's side.
Junko, however, was growing an obsession with spreading the despair worldwide and thinks about her siblings being the perfect ones to lead the way.
She didn't think much of her older sister. Merely is just a tool to be used and disposed of. However she knew that her older brother was different. He wasn't going to be tricked as easily as she could and he already had a taste for killing. (She's being delusional they were just playing heroes and villains)
So once she heard that her older brother finally got into his dream school, she knew that this would be the perfect time to spread ultimate despair. By convincing her older brother to be the UA traitor by drowning his fellow classmates in despair that they have never felt before.
To be continued....
