edit bc new stuff happened ever since anthem came out : dongha now follows every team leader Except for allen (however allen follows him). kantaros vent alt now only follows kei. hajun does not follow amprule (but chungsung follows him. shout out to family dramas). kei & rokuta are the only characters to not follow buraikan. the majority of akyr does not follow anyone from gklk (iori follows all, hokusai only follows shion). visty does not follow anyone in 1nm8. and to close it off, we have yet another gigantic L by mikoshiba kenta!! he now follows reo and yes. he is once again ignored.

The only time I got angry, like really angry, with Minthara was my first time playing as a paladin. And, you know, we're at the coronation and talking to Gortash and what not and he says that he'll turn a blind eye on all the things we do as long as we get Orins stone and leave his affairs alone. And I'm all like, "cool whatever". And then there's Minthara in the background being all, "we should swear an oath to this guy." And I was all "Good idea! Great role play stuff, add it to my paladin oath. This seems like something that a paladin should do and maintain peace."

Imagine the feeling of shock and horror when the oath breaker knight shows up immediately after swearing an oath to Gortash cause I didn't realize doing that BREAKS MY FUCKING OATH!!

Yeah, I had to put Minthara in time out for that, shit pissed me off so much. It is just absolutely wild how many things she tells you to do that breaks your oath when she knows damn well it will. But, nah, she's over there in the back chillin cause she knows her oath is intact after encouraging you to demolish yours. Even funnier that her oath only breaks cause you also have to tell her to do so and she does not fucking care that it gets broken and thinks it's better that it is.

I honestly feel like oaths should get broken by association. If a paladin tells another to do something knowing it'll break the others oath, then theirs gets broken too. I would like to say that maybe it'll make Minthara think twice about telling other paladins to break their oaths, but I know it won't. She's still gonna do it anyway. Especially since she does have a line where she just straight up tells you directly to break your oath, or if your oath is already broken she's just all "nice! me too! 👍"

JE week day 3 (for the prompts "sick" and "confession")! Which is also today. Please don't look at you calendars. Anyway this one is much shorter than previous. Warning for second-hand embarrassment I guess? Sorry Jon you're just so bulliable. Fic under the cut.

"I-I've come down with a cold, I think," their voice sounded rough and scratchy, even to their own ears. "I don't think I'll be able to come in today." "You do sound rather under the weather," there was the faint sound of computer keys clacking in the background. Elias himself seemed nonplussed at the news, which was probably a good sign. Still, barely two months into their important new job and already calling out sick… best to be clear that he wasn't slacking off. "I apologize, I know it must be inconvenient. I assure you that I'll be in to work as soon as possible, a-and-" Their words were rushing out of his mouth, tripping over each other in Jon's desperate need to make themselves understood. Elias mercifully cut them off. "Jon, if you're calling out sick, I'm assuming the situation is dire. Please, take as much time as you need. I'll inform the others that you're not feeling well." Elias sounded so terribly fond Jon was sure they were projecting their own fluttering nonsense onto him. After a brief pause, he added, "And please do make sure that you actually get some rest. Now, will that be all?" "I- thank you. Yes… that- that should be everything." "Alright. Get well soon, Jon." And then, in their cold-fogged brain, some stupid holdover instinct from their relationship with Georgie woke from its years long slumber to fire off "I love you." There was a moment of horrible, echoing silence as they both sat with the words Jon had allowed to leave their mouth. Then, with desperate finality, Jon ended the call.

(A few minutes later their phone vibrated. Jon pulled it out, handling it with all the careful fear of a snake handler holding an angry cobra.

It was a text. From Elias.
