“What do you mean your parents are here?” Worry consumes Satoru as soon as he hears about the announcement. His eyes go directly to Ren, who looks around confused. Why is Sayo’s parents showing up a big deal? Ren sees his parents everyday and it’s not a big deal.

“I don’t know why they’re here. One of the maids just came into my room with the announcement and I– I don’t know.” She’s running her hands through her hair, taking deep breaths to keep her cool but it’s hard. She’s freaking out and Satoru can’t blame her.

“It’s okay, Sayo. Deep breaths.” Satoru tries to get her to calm down while he freaks out himself. It’s Ren’s birthday, he doesn’t want the night to be ruined because Sayo’s parents decided it’d be a great day to stop by. “Ren, come here.”

“I thought you were going to open mommy’s gift?” Ren asks, but he won’t question it further. Satoru had a change of heart, that’s a good enough answer for Ren. He walks back to his father, and Satoru’s hand goes to the top of his head.

“What are we going to do– I mean you have your son here, this birthday party clearly isn’t for you. What are we going to say?” Sayo rambles, knowing that it’s only a matter of time before she has to go downstairs to greet them. “What do we even say?”

“I don’t know. I…” Satoru is unsure of what to say next. What should he do? He looks down at Ren and takes a moment to really think about his options. He can’t hide Ren forever, and he isn’t going to.

Satoru isn’t proud of a lot of things in his life because quite frankly he hasn’t made the best decisions, and Ren is everything to him. His pride and joy. He doesn’t want to keep hiding him, Satoru is done with all of this.

“I think it’s time to come clean.” Satoru says, words that are dreaded by her. But she somewhat understands. Satoru just has a beautiful family that is waiting for him– Or whatever you have going on, either way, it’s time to put an end to this. She bites down her lip before nodding in agreement.

“You’re right.” She agrees as a sigh escapes her lips. She wanted this to go on a little longer… No, she wanted this to keep going forever since she can’t deal with the truth. But Satoru isn’t her little puppet, and he has his own feelings to cherish and protect.

Her eyes are filling up with tears, and she tries to turn quickly to leave. She doesn’t want Satoru to back down or to think she wants him to; she’s simply overcome with emotion because this is it, after tonight, she won’t have a family. Satoru speaks before she can walk away, making sure to cover Ren’s ears beforehand, “Sayo, you might not be my wife but you’re still going to be my family.”

“I appreciate it, Satoru.” She manages to say, before walking away. Satoru takes his hands off Ren’s ears and smiles down at him.

“Change of plans, I’ll open your mommy’s gift later. Let’s go downstairs.” Satoru tells Ren, grabbing his hand and dragging him out of the room. He’s not letting the boy out of his sight for even a moment, he’ll proudly show off his son tonight.

“Who are–” You’re right outside his door when he opens up, and he interrupts you to answer your question.

“Sayo’s parents.” He says, and your eyes widen. You don’t know much about the situation, but you can only assume this isn’t good news. Mrs. Gojo is chatting with them, keeping them occupied but from what you’ve heard, this isn’t good news.

“Do you want me to leave and take Ren for the time being?” You ask him, trying to grab your baby boy’s hand but Satoru shakes his hand.

“Time to put an end to all of this. I can’t hide him forever… He’s my whole world, how can I?” Satoru responds, and you feel your heart flutter. Your face begins to get warm, and you can’t believe you’re feeling fuzzy because Satoru is being a good father.

“This won’t cause too many issues, right?” You question, and Satoru won’t tell you the truth but he won’t lie to you either. So he chooses to ignore the question, and picks up Ren from the ground. Satoru walks past you, and you begin to follow behind him.

You don’t know what’ll happen next, and you’re sure it’s not going to be the best scene. You’re almost sure that you’ll be the one that’s going to be blamed for everything, but there’s no way you’re leaving Satoru alone with Ren in this mess. You really do wish you could leave with Ren right at this moment, but you understand that this is something Satoru has to do.

“Satoru–” A woman that looks just like Sayo, simply slightly older, begins to speak. She’s taken back by the boy that Satoru holds, her mouth agape as she stares in complete and utter confusion. Could be a cousin of some sort, though the boy looks too much like Satoru. “Did you and Sayo–”

“Who is this boy?” Sayo’s father steps in, and Satoru feels the nerves slowly consume him, but he’ll remain brave. The process of merging just began, and this will surely ruin everything but it doesn’t matter anymore. All Satoru cares for is the little boy that he holds in his arms– And you who stand behind him.

“My son.” Satoru answers before putting Ren down on the ground. Before he can say anything more, you grab Ren and take him away because he shouldn’t witness any of what’s about to happen. Satoru holds his breath, waiting for a reaction from the pair.

“Sayo!” Her father couldn’t be any louder, as it dawns on him that his son-in-law has a son; a son that is very clearly not his daughter’s.

“She’s not at fault for this, so leave her out of it.” Satoru quickly says, but he knows his words won’t change anything. He’s seen how they interact, it’s the reason why Sayo doesn’t want the news to come out. She could do nothing, but her parents will find a way to blame her for everything.

“She’s known about this, she definitely is at fault.” Her mother responds, and Satoru takes a deep breath. He wants to leave so badly and enjoy the very special day with his son and you, but he can’t leave Sayo alone. Not in this mess at least.

“Sayo! Get down here!” Her father yells once again, getting desperate for his daughter to come downstairs. But it’s not her who comes down, but you. Their eyes fall on you, the woman who took away Satoru’s son, which can only mean one thing to them.

“You’re the tramp.” Her mother says, and both you and Satoru are completely shocked by her words. You have yet to speak, yet she’s already managed to insult you. You somewhat expected this though so you can’t say you’re too surprised; you’re still a little hurt though. “What the hell did you do to him? Satoru would never–”

“Get out.” Satoru’s voice is harsh, making it clear that they’re unwelcome into his home. Sayo has yet to come down to face this, but Satoru isn’t going to allow it. Not tonight at least. They’re staring at him as if they haven’t heard him, which makes him yell, “Get out! You’re not welcome here!”

“We’re going to talk about this, we’re not leaving.” Sayo’s father says, but Satoru isn’t willing to listen to this now. This is supposed to be a special day for him and his son, yet he feels as if the night is ruined. He feels sorry for Sayo, since she won’t get to deal with this tonight, delaying the inevitable confrontation once again. Satoru just isn’t up to listen to them anymore, especially after the woman insulted you.

“You’re leaving. I told you that you’re leaving, and if you don’t start moving within the next thirty seconds, I’m dragging you out.” Satoru is seeing red. He’s always had a particular dislike for Ssayo’s parents, but they’ve never made him this angry before.

They see that he’s very serious about this, and they won’t argue with him now. They’ll leave for the moment, as a birthday present. But they’ll come back tomorrow, and they’re not going to leave until they get a proper explanation from him and their daughter.

“Happy birthday, Satoru, and happy anniversary to you and my daughter.” The woman makes sure to say before leaving the house, doing it to remind you that Satoru is a married man.

“Where’s Ren?” Satoru asks the moment they step out of the house. He’s not going to allow anyone else to ruin tonight. He’s spending the rest of his birthday with you and his son.

“I left him with Sayo so she wouldn’t come down. I’ll go get him.” You answer, and Satoru nods in response. He runs to the kitchen while you go upstairs to grab your baby.

“Mommy! Look, Sayo and I started playing Mario Party!” Ren exclaims when he sees you step into the game room. You smile at him and at the woman that sits beside him. You found her nearly sobbing, you knew she couldn’t go downstairs with how she was crying.

“Your daddy wants to see you, Ren.” You tell him, and he pouts. His game just started and you’re tearing it away– it’s fine, at least he’ll get to have cake later.

“But our game just started!” Sayo protests, and you chuckle. You agree,

“Alright, but ten minutes. You know Satoru is impatient.”

After Ren loses to Sayo too many times, he gives up on his game. Which is good for Satoru who was growing a little too impatient while he watched them play. He knows it’s only a matter of time before his mother comes in, asking him to fix this mess. He’s not in the mood for any of this tonight though, and while he wanted to celebrate the day with so many other people, he’s changed his mind.

He feels bad for leaving everyone else behind when they’ve come to celebrate Ren’s birthday, but he can’t stand being in the place for much longer. He takes you, Ren, and the cake, practically forcing you into a car. You can’t protest much, and you won’t because it’s also his birthday and you’ll grant him just about anything that’ll make him happy.

“Can we have some of the cake now?” Ren asks as he sits right next to it. He was dragged out last minute from his own party, he might as well get a piece of his cake.

“When we get to where we’re going.” You answer, although you’re not sure how long the ride is. Satoru dragged you out with such urgency, and you wonder if someone is expecting you. Are you late for something? You guess you’re not, Satoru just needs a breath from his home.

You’re proven right when he pulls into the home that he took you not too long ago. You can only imagine the scene that Mrs. Gojo was going to cause, so you understand his decision.

You exit the car, and grab the cake before Ren can get his hands on it. Satoru picks up his baby boy and takes him inside the house, commenting, “Soon enough you’re going to be too heavy for me to carry.”

“Grammy says the same thing.” Ren points out, and while they chatter, you look around the place. It’s more ready than before, filled with new and luxurious furniture. Satoru’s moving in soon, that’s what you can gather.

You don’t stare for too long since the cake is getting heavy for you to carry. You remember the way to the dining room, so you go there and set the cake down on the table. You hear how both of them laugh which brings a smile to your lips. Ren loves his father more than anything, and you’re happy that he can finally spend his birthday with Satoru.

“Mommy!” Ren yells, and you follow the voice that calls out for your name. You find them in the kitchen, Ren on the kitchen counter while Satoru looks for something to eat in the fridge. When Ren sees you, he immediately asks, “Can we order a pizza?”

“If that’s what you both want.” You answer, and Satoru immediately closes the fridge.

“Good because we have nothing here.” Satoru comments, and you let out a chuckle.

“Satoru, you’re more than welcome to get something without asking for my permission.” You tell him, and he shakes his head. He’ll rather ask for your permission beforehand. “You’re a grown man, Satoru.”

“I’m grown too!” Ren chimes in, and Satoru side eyes him.

“What did you just say, pipsqueak?” Satoru teases him as he picks up Ren from the counter. Satoru pulls his chubby cheek and says, “You’re only grown when I can’t carry you anymore.”

“You said that it’d be soon.” Ren reminds his father, and Satoru purses his lips. Ren got him there.

“Yeah, soon. But not now. See, I can still carry you.” Satoru responds. And he’ll still be able to carry Ren for many years to come so Satoru isn’t too worried about it.

“Let me order the food.” You tell them while they begin to bicker about the fact that Ren thinks he’s old now.

After eating your dinner, and playing some games, Ren finally gets to cut his birthday cake. Ren sits on his father’s lap, while Satoru lights up some matches since he forgot to bring the birthday candles. It’s a simple mistake with an easy solution.

Ren isn’t too upset about the five matches on his birthday cake since he’s too focused on the frosting on the cake. Ren is trying to sneak some of the icing while you two sing happy birthday. He finally sneaks it in when you’re clapping, though Satoru notices. Satoru is laughing, telling him, “Blow out the matches.”

“It’s your birthday too.” Ren reminds him, the evidence of his crime all over his lips. Satoru clicks his tongue before blowing the matches for Ren since they’re burning a little too fast. Ren claps for Satoru, as his father takes off the matches from the cake.

“I guess I get the biggest piece since I blew out the fire.” Satoru says, which makes a frown appear on Ren’s face.

“He is right, plus you already got a taste of it.” You join in, and Ren crosses his arms.

“It’s my birthday!” He makes sure to remind the two of you, which makes you chuckle.

“It’s also your dad’s birthday, you said it yourself.” You say, and Ren begins to get upset so you decide to drop it. You don’t want to tease him too much tonight. You reach over and kiss his cheek before saying, “Let me go get a plate and a knife so I can give my baby boy the biggest piece of cake.”

“I’ll go with you.” Satoru gets Ren off his lap, not wanting for you to spend too much time looking for plates. And maybe he wants to be able to talk to you one on one, especially since he didn’t get the chance to look at the present you gave him.

“You know that leaving Ren with the cake is a bad idea.” You tell Satoru as he follows behind you. He knows that it’s a horrible idea, but if Ren wants to eat the whole cake, he’s more than welcome to. The cake is for him and for nobody else, he can eat it all on his own if it’s what his little heart desires.

“I have a question.” Satoru changes the topic, and you hum. “I didn’t get to see what you got me and now I’m curious.”

“Why don’t you just wait until you get home?” You suggest and Satoru pouts. Maybe the fact that he blew out the five matches has some sort of meaning, he and Ren share one age.

“I’m probably not going back tonight. C’mon, just tell me!” Satoru insists, and you roll your eyes. You’re searching for the plates, and it’d be more helpful if he actually guided you to where the plates were. Your task would be easier if the house didn’t have nearly a hundred cabinets in the kitchen.

“Help me find the plates and I’ll answer.” You respond, and Satoru sighs before walking over and opening the cabinet for the plates. He won’t take them out until you give him the answer. “Fine. Before my mom left your house, she stole something from you and I’m giving it back.”

“What did she steal?” Satoru’s curiosity just sparked. Your mother isn’t a thief, he knows that she isn’t, so what could she possibly take?

“You remember that music box your parents got for you when you were a baby?” You tell him, and his brows perk up before he nods. “My mom snuck into your room and stole it when she found out I was pregnant. Told me my son will inherit something from his father, and it was that. Ren doesn’t care for it anymore, so you might as well have it back.”

“Really? I was going crazy looking for it. I swore my mom threw it away.” Satoru answers, and you almost feel bad for taking it. But listening to the lullaby was the only way your baby Ren would fall asleep. “I don’t need it back, if Ren has had it this whole time then I’m happy I lost it.”

“Yeah… I don’t know what else to get you since you have pretty much everything.” You respond, and Satoru can’t blame you since it’s true. Satoru has everything a man can ask for… Well almost everything.

“Give me a kiss.” The words blurt out of his mouth, and your eyes grow wide. “Since you claim I have everything. That’s the one thing I don’t have.”

“Tell me why I should kiss you?” You put a hand on your hip, and he sticks out his bottom lip.

“It’s my birthday.” He reminds you, and you roll your eyes again.

“If I wasn’t in the delivery room, I would’ve been convinced you somehow reproduced with yourself.” You mutter before walking over and kissing his cheek. You know he meant more, but he’s not getting more. Either way, it makes his cheeks turn pink because it’s been a while since he’s felt your lips on any part of his skin.

The air suddenly becomes thick, and you have to take a deep breath. Before you can speak about it, you decide to change the topic, “Your house is nice by the way, when are you moving in?”

“It’s not mine, it’s yours. I bought it for you.” He answers as he finally grabs the plates that he was withholding. You freeze in your spot, trying to think about the words that he just said. Is he serious? Did you hear right?

“What do you mean mine?” You question, and he’s fighting back a smirk. He kisses the tip of your nose as an extra gift for himself. He begins to walk away and you yell his name, “Satoru! What do you mean?”

“This is your house!” He yells, before completely leaving you alone in the kitchen. You stand dumbfounded, unsure of what to say to him.

You look around the big kitchen, slowly taking it all in. This is your house.

sua works out a lot , and she is incredibly proud of her body and she does love to wear shorter clothes to accentuate her cursed and show off her body …

she truly thrives in the summer time because she can wear less clothes… plus she has a tattoo on her hip and she likes to show that off. even if it’s against staff wishes.

style wise , she would say it’s like street style , trendy.. she’s not afraid to admit she gets a lot of her style off of others , but makes it hers.

low rise jeans .. yes people hate them , but she can’t get enough of them , they’re perfect and she pairs them with belts or a shoe string , a crop top and a nice jacket — that’s her go to everyday style.

she always loved the idea of tattoos , but she didn’t want to go through the pain of getting one , nor did she want to have the regrets of getting one if she didn’t like it in the end.

after she began to work out more she began to love the idea of having one on her waist and that’s what made her make the final decision to get one.

after that , she knew she wanted one more , and then she’d be done. this one meant more to her , her mother loves dragonflies and she collects them , and she wanted something that reminded her of her family.

so she ended up getting two dragonflies on her shoulders which represents her parents. and the big stars represent her siblings. the little stars were to just fill in the gaps.

overall she probably won’t be getting anymore tattoos , but she’s in love with the ones she has now and she definitely doesn’t regret it.

fans claim they've never seen her wear the same pair before, but it's not true she definitely doesn't spend that much money on shoes.

if she has a pair of shoes she wants to give away , she will just give them to her sister or give them away to people in need , fans say she should sell them , but she thinks that’s a bit odd seeing as she doesn’t need the money.

the day she learned she had free will and could just go on youtube and learn how to do her nails herself and she didn’t have to go to the salon — it was over.

of course they weren’t always good , but she made sure no one ever saw those , but now she’s good enough to show them off and fans look forward to seeing her new set.

her favorite thing to do is when it’s comeback time , she’ll do a set based of her favorite version of the album.

her favorite set she’s ever done has to be the ones she did for brought the heat back , it was new and she was glad they allowed her to do her own nails.

Rachel is very reserved with affection. That's not to say she is not affectionate. She just has a talent for keeping it rare enough that it always feels meaningful.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Ominous.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

While she tries not to show it Rachel loves to be spoiled with cuddles.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

She would have no problem arranging a guest room for you and maybe a shared room down the line. She will neither cook nor clean if it isn't obvious.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

She will simply avoid you next time.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

It will take a really long time for her to feel ready for it. When she does it's the most extravagant wedding there has ever been.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Surprisingly rough. Both with her comments and physically.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

She's not a big hugger herself but she does enjoy getting hugged. Tries not to let it show but it's obvious when she needs one.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It's a strange situation. If you say it to her she'll try to say it back but will stop herself. Only says it by accident in very intimate moments. Accept it and don't push further because you will get electrocuted.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

She's kind of possessive so she tends to scare away people she considers a threat to your relationship.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Do not use her height to tease her with a kiss. She will harm you to make you keel over so she can return the favour.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Having kids would be a huge decision for her if she even decides to do so.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

She prefers not to go out during the day so morning usually signals bedtime for her.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights are usually the time you'll be with her.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

While she could explain the nature of the world to you it would serve no purpose but to spoil the time you have together.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

She's pretty easy to provoke but as long as she gets to punish you in some way she's happy.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

She often mentions things you don't remember telling her. She just insults your memory.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Your first kiss. It was a rare moment of you two being completely alone. You were in her garden. Roses all around with the moonlight framing it all.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Seemingly not that protective but she actually just takes great care you never even end up in situations where you'd need protection.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

With her everything has to be very extravagant.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

It's a bit hard to understand her with the strange push and pull of her affection and teasing. From the outside the relationship might seem borderline abusive but you know that's just an act.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Don't get her started on fashion.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

She'd sooner die than admit how much you actually mean to her.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

While she will send Valk, Nago and Gii away for intimate moments George always stays with you two. It may seem he'd make a lot of moments awkward but he's pretty much unnoticable and has never shared what he's seen you two do.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

She will complain and insult you for anything and everything but she rarely goes beyond that.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Whenever she sleeps alone she lays completely flat on her back with her arms crossed.

“So, What are your plans after Abu Dhabi?”

“I have a few things in mind, I’m officially unemployed. What are you gonna do without me?”

“Not much, for now we hired Charlotte as class clown, she’s is pretty funny. The other day she talked a lot about you”

“What did she say? Hope she didn’t reveal any secrets” Daniel showed a smile

“She looked sad, you know why?”

“Yeah. She’s the type of talent you saw on the track and your mind already click on what’s coming next, like, the next big thing. I told her that the events that happened on McLaren aren’t gonna affect our friendship”

“So, you’re good with the decision?”

“This is a sport that If they’re not happy with you, you’re out, you just have to remember the good days, enjoy the butterflies. I told her that she’s so powerfull, to surround to people who cares about her and then continue with their feet on the ground and let go the idea that you have to be the best or do the most to be worth something”

“You’re a good friend and we’re gonna miss you. What’s the next thing for you?”

“I don’t know. I guess we have to wait ‘till next season”

The lesson of the artwork in a room

In my art I love to focus on making the soul of a beeing, a concept or an idea not only visible but palpable. It‘s one of my strongest beliefs and my personal experience, that showing the glistening soul and pure essence of something can be that powerful and inspiring, so the beholder gets energy and courage to face their shadows, heal and grow with the own personal topics in their individual time 🕯️

Some may now think I‘m just the butterfly chasing lil girl in the sunlight I am though 🤩🦋 but constantly working myself through the given shadows of life carry me at my state of development to the thinking, that the duality of our world is a question of the personal decisions we come to in every moment of our lives – no matter how big or small they are ☺️☕️

So I mostly – if able – I choose positive thinking even if I don’t feel like in those moments and I think this is called mind hygiene (is that valid English?). And it’s also a big part to allow myself, that this is not possible in every moment and in that case, that it’s okay. Really okay. We’re human in here. No robots with malfunctions to get tinkered until we work again.

The trick for me is just to look at (even too) heavy things the same way like on to an artwork. Firstly, recognize: You always have a choice. You don’t have to react on the most incidents in the very same second! Fast and people pleasing or out of heated emotion reactions aren’t wise but unconsciously taught as neccessary, often as trauma response. Even during an emergency it makes no real difference if you rest and breathe just for some seconds to avoid panic or mistakes, so no excuses except you’re the automation type and a break would disturb the flow or tell me honestly if you think otherwise I’ll never stop learning ☺️

So if it’s not an emergency but everyday challenges, for me it’s just like this with heavy things or art: Taking myself the time I need (as soon as possible in an appropriate moment) to sort things more with my heart and stomach, not only with the ever gear wheeling head of mine ☺️ My brain might be big or is it small and just feels big who can say and often it really hurts, but I‘m aware that it‘s too small for this world. I‘m under no obligation to understand everything. In here – just a little human making a difference by mere existence and leaving footsteps whether I hustle or not.

But why even look at art or heavy things? Why not getting rid the fastest way? Why does it tend to linger and getting rid of often just doesn’t work properly or for good? Here is the connection: Heavy things and art have in common, that they’re imprinting and this is none about choice. Not really. How to deal with that, sounds too much, doesn’t it? So give the art way a chance to solve that.

In my experience art is something, where you can take a break from looking at, but not forever as long as it’s in your room. It influences the atmosphere and it will draw you in, slowly or rapidly, if you like or not – there will be the breaking point where you won’t be able to avoid looking at anymore.

Do I really want to hide from it until it gets me or do I face it and how? Hard confrontation is what the most of us had to learn, but there is the art way: I decide to look at it to my own conditions, preparing myself with breathing, posture checking and providing myself with a mug of caf or choc ☕️

And this is just one of the many lessons of art for us: Take yourself time to sort things out, but do it before it gets you from behind, taking the decision from you and catching you unarmed. It‘s okay to take a break but recognize that completely looking away is nearly impossible and the trial to avoid it is getting more and more hurtful. So I recommend to choose the break consciously and then look at it secure and with a cozy distance if you need it ☕️🫶🏼 but look at it.

So knowing that there’ll be always heavy things thrown at me by life itself, with the art way it‘s my mere choice how I want to feel most of the time of my life: Heavy or light? Problem stressing or a chance to grow?

In my opinion that‘s not even the whole question by the way: I love to ask for the colors and shadings between, because the beauty of life experience isn’t always bright. I love the light breaking through shadows and mists more than the solely display of light or dark. I love scars, I love imperfect blossoms, I love leaves falling down and sprouts growing out of concrete. This is the beauty of duality and how I manage to grow in this world. I don’t avoid. How could I? Behind fright it is inspiring. This is art.

At the end and under the line, all I see is the potential to grow steadily and inevitable into the own pure essence 😎✨

knucklehead asked: george is a woman but not in the way of frilly clothes and a done up face. he loves to be in charge, wear masculine clothes and feel powerful, but he’s not any less of a woman because of that. george is a woman who’s been pushed down from the start. people calling him a twink, bottom, femboy etcetera and its just not fair, he’s more than that and hes proven it time and time again. people push george to fit into their narratives in the way young girls are told they can’t be lawyers because they’re too emotional (I cannot think of a better example its 1am gimme a break). “george is a twink just look at him” or “george would be perfect in a cute little outfit” they’re just wrong.

george isnt a feminine guy, hes masculine, with his stubble, body language, the way he dresses, all of it, but he’s still a woman. hes a woman because he feels he is one. and thats enough. he doesnt have to and he probably wont change the way he presents himself to fit peoples stereotypes of what a woman is. people need to stop pushing femininity onto george. hes a woman who is comfortable as he is and pushing him into a box which he’s not going to stay in is wrong!!! hes not going to conform and he shouldn’t have to for everyone to accept that!

from a young age girls are told they’re overreacting or that their emotions don’t matter because its just not a big deal. yet thats exactly what people tell george, the people who are fans of george and hate dream telling him he has to stop talking to dream. yet still, hes able to make his own choices! george is able to make his own decisions and deserves to be treated as such!! a grown adult who can understand right and wrong. the infantilization seen everyday towards him is honestly absurd, he can make his own choices and when he tell’s people to leave him alone they should listen! especially if they’re expecting him to listen to a word they say.

people push this narrative onto george so much when he makes even the smallest statements people lose their minds. its always george is silently bitchy, dont mess with george he’ll drop you in the blink of an eye. of course he will! if george were to say what he thinks im sure everyone would undermine him the same way they’re doing now. george isnt a woman because he dresses or looks pretty. (although george is very pretty lets be real here) george is a woman because he says he is. he deserves respect and not to be shut in a box where people think they know whats best. all in all, george is a woman who deserves to be respected and treated as an adult.

Actually, Dhelmise don’t perform mitosis— given that they are multicellular by virtue of being macroalgae— but instead undergo a similar process called fragmentation, like everyday seaweed. However, this only seems to occur in the event that one or more of the upper blades, or “leaves”, is detached, along with a portion of the holdfast; without both, a new individual can’t form. Even if both parts are present, it seems that most of the time a new one won’t actually develop, and instead the result is just seaweed that is indistinguishable from others of the same variety save for the inability to reproduce sexually via spores. For a time it was theorized Dhelmise could reproduce sexually via spores, explaining their genetic diversity, but this hasn’t been observed, nor has a Dhelmise with sporophylls ever been documented. It’s believed this is a side effect of the transformation from normal seaweed/kelp to Dhelmise, and why kelp grown from one remains infertile.

On that note, I didn’t get into the hardly understood development of new Dhelmise, which hasn’t been conclusively documented, but is described in the folklore of many seafaring peoples as the consistent idea of souls possessing or merging with seaweed, or the seaweed itself gaining/having a soul and achieving sentience. It’s generally accepted that it’s a similar process to the one that creates Bramblin on land, but research into the formation of either is rather difficult on account of the very specific circumstances required, and the fact that you can’t (ethically) recreate them in an observable setting. Doing so would probably be described as performing a funny little thing called “murder” and wouldn’t be a very popular or kind decision.

Big fan of Dhelmise, honestly, they’re unusual and often misunderstood fellas and a lot less scary than TV makes them out to be most of the time. I’ve been trying to learn as much about them as possible, and even just going down the poképedia rabbithole is a great way to spend several hours if you have nothing better to do… Signed, random trainer who’s starter was a Dhelmise due to unusual circumstances involving pokébeans and not knowing what to do when Large Hecking Thing decided to leave the water and simply didn’t stay put after I enacted the Back Away Slowly protocol.

P.S.: the Steelworker ability doesn’t have much of anything to do with ions, they’re just good at utilizing metal due to their species-wide preference for that particular kind of material. Sorta like that bird Pokémon that loves dropping rocks enough to be proficient in battle with them… Bomberdier? Bombirdier? Something like that. If they weren’t such incompatible types and also inhabitants of entirely different ecosystems I bet they’d understand each other. Oh to be a weird thing that will look at a hard object and go “yea I think I’ll specialize in beating things with this”….. Instead I had to be born a human and I gotta do things like “get a job” and “stop befriending weird beasts” and “get a hobby that doesn’t center around one or two extremely specific or niche topics”. Maybe I wanna start throwing rocks at people or beating them with random junk I found in the ocean, why can’t those be valid career paths huh

Kuro: Alright. It’s our turn to use the Mixed-Martial Arts gym now.

We’re all done with our warm-ups, so let’s get in the ring.

Tetora: Ossu!

By the way, Taisho, why aren’t you in your Karate uniform? I thought you’d definitely be wearing one since you’re a Karateka!

Kuro: Yeah, about that. I just had a talk with the Little Miss here while you were in the changing room earlier, Tetsu.

Since this practice match will be used as part of the promotions for CROSS FIRE, it’s been decided that a common uniform will be prepared—

—for our BUTOUKAI members to wear so that any and all of us will be able to go into the ring and fight. I think we’re expected to be decked out in that attire whenever there’s a need for publicity.

Tetora: Woah~! Big Sis Anzu, were you actually here all along?! Uuuu~ You should’ve told us you’d be coming! I would’ve had some refreshments prepared to receive you if only you had!

Kuro: Ahaha. She probably didn’t want us to go to all that trouble fer her.

That bein’ said, thanks for making time to come visit us when you’re so busy, Little Miss, but—you did say you were here at the Gym since mornin’, so that means you were able to watch the Inexperienced Trio while they were trainin’, right?

Hmm, I see. You were observin’ them from halfway through their session, but have been asked to keep what they were doin’ a secret, huh?

It’s fine, that’s only to be expected. Especially since this is Mikejima we’re talkin’ about—you can’t tell just by lookin’ at him, but he’s always got his bases covered.

He definitely knows the Karate Club will have the advantage if we were to face off in a by-the-book battle, so he’s probably prepared a few aces up his sleeve, am I right?

Madara: We’re into the second half of today’s training now. The weather’s still pretty hot for autumn, so do take precautions to avoid heat stroke even as you go all out for training!

Adonis-san, were you able to prepare the items I’d asked for?

Adonis: Yes. I managed to borrow the hardballs you wanted from the local baseball club.

They kindly lent us these to us after Sazanami and I went to negotiate with them.

Jun: Hehe~ Those guys were pretty accommodating, weren’t they? They even said we could use them however we wanted to as long as they’re properly returned afterwards.

By the way, isn’t it about time you told us what we're gonna do next? Why did you ask us to prepare these baseballs?

I can’t see how this has anything to do with Mixed-Martial Arts training at all, though… …

Madara: Oh, regarding that… Do you remember I spoke about how Karate is strong because of its focus on fundamentals and basics?

Jun: Yes, about how being simple is its strength, right~? And that’s why you’d need to use irregular attacks for the element of surprise――

Could it be that these hardballs are also part of your preparations to rattle your opponent?

Madara: You’ve guessed it right! That said, it’s forbidden to bring weapons into the ring, so I won’t be using these hardballs to attack thoughhh!

Adonis-san, please throw those balls at me—as hard as you can.

Adonis: Throw them at you?

Madara: Yep! You don’t have to hold back at all. Throw ‘em with everything you’ve got!

Adonis: Got it. Do be careful not to get hurt, Mikejima-senpai.

Madara: Oh~h! Excellent throw!

―And I’ll wait till the very laaast moment―and dodge it! Fufu~n!

… … So, one segment of training will be dedicated to dodging balls like these. By letting my eyes be used to tracking these fastballs, I’ll be able to avoid getting hit by Kuro-san’s powerful punches!

Jun: Hm~m, so that’s what you wanted them for~. You’re simulating an actual combat experience by using these balls to stand in for the opponent’s punches, huh?

Well, it’s true that even if you were to defend yourself from Karate’s straight punches with blocks, your guard would still be worn away. Dodging them would be the best option by far~!

Madara: Yes, it’s great you get my intention so clearlyyy!

However, if Adonis-san’s the only one doing the throwing, it’ll never match up to the attack rate of an actual battle. Jun-san, could you join Adonis-san in throwing those balls at me~?

Jun: Sure thing~. This is like a training scene straight out of a manga (1), it’s getting fun~ ♪

Let’s defeat the Karate Club soundly with the flexible thinking unique to those who’ve got zero experience!

What To Look For From This Week’s Fed Meeting

You may be hearing a lot of talk about the Federal Reserve (the Fed) and how their actions will impact the housing market right now. Here’s why.

The Fed meets again this week to decide the next step with the Federal Funds Rate. That's how much it costs banks to borrow from each other. Now, that’s not the same thing as setting mortgage rates, but mortgage rates can be influenced through this process. And if you’re thinking about buying or selling a home, you may be wondering about the downstream impact and when mortgage rates will come down.

Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know to help you anticipate what’ll happen next. The Fed’s decisions are guided by these three key economic indicators:

The Direction of Inflation

How Many Jobs the Economy Is Adding

The Unemployment Rate

Let’s take a look at each one.

1. The Direction of Inflation

You’ve likely noticed prices for everyday goods and services seem to be higher each time you make a purchase at the store. That’s because of inflation – and the Fed wants to see that number come back down so it’s closer to their 2% target.

Right now, it’s still higher than that. But despite a little volatility, inflation has generally been moving in the right direction. It gradually came down over the past two years, and is holding fairly steady right now (see graph below):

The path of inflation – though still not at their target rate – is a big part of the reason why the Fed will likely lower the Fed Funds Rate again this week to make borrowing less expensive, while still ensuring the economy continues to grow.

2. How Many Jobs the Economy Is Adding

The Fed is also keeping an eye on how many new jobs are added to the economy each month. They want job growth to slow down a bit before they cut the Federal Funds Rate further. When fewer jobs are created, it shows the economy is still doing well, but gradually cooling off—exactly what they’re aiming for. And that’s what’s happening right now. Reuters says:

“Any doubts the Federal Reserve will go ahead with an interest-rate cut . . . fell away on Friday after a government report showed U.S. employers added fewer workers in October than in any month since December 2020.”

Employers are still hiring, but just not as many positions right now. This shows the job market is starting to slow down after running hot for a while, which is what the Fed wants to see.

3. The Unemployment Rate

The unemployment rate shows the percentage of people who want jobs but can’t find them. A low unemployment rate means most people are working, which is great. However, it can push inflation higher because more people working means more spending—and that makes prices go up.

Many economists consider any unemployment rate below 5% to be as close to full employment as is realistically possible. In the most recent report, unemployment is sitting at 4.1% (see graph below):

Unemployment this low shows the labor market is still strong even as fewer jobs were added to the economy. That’s the balance the Fed is looking for.

What Does This Mean Going Forward?

Overall, the economy is headed in the direction the Fed wants to see – and that’s why experts say they will likely cut the Federal Funds Rate by a quarter of a percentage point this week, according to the CME FedWatch Tool.

If that expectation ends up being correct, that could pave the way for mortgage rates to come down too. But that doesn’t mean they’ll fall immediately. It will take some time. Remember, the Fed doesn’t determine mortgage rates. Forecasts show mortgage rates will ease more gradually over the course of the next year as long as these economic indicators continue to move in the right direction and the Fed can continue their Federal Funds rate cuts through 2025.

But a change in any one of the factors mentioned here could cause a shift in the market and in the Fed’s actions in the days and months ahead. So, brace for some volatility, and for mortgage rates to respond along the way. As Ralph McLaughlin, Senior Economist at Realtor.com, notes:

"The trajectory of rates over the coming months will be largely dependent on three key factors: (1) the performance of the labor market, (2) the outcome of the presidential election, and (3) any possible reemergence of inflationary pressure. While volatility has been the theme of mortgage rates over the past several months, we expect stability to reemerge towards the end of November and into early December."

Bottom Line

This past weekend, I was able to schedule an in-person interview with Snarls before their show at DC9 in Washington, D.C. The tour stop was during the band’s first headlining tour of their young career, and was in support of their critically acclaimed sophomore record, With Love. In this interview, I asked the band about key moments during the writing/recording process of their new album, the songs that are translating best to the live setting, and much more. So thank you so much for your time this evening. I believe this is your first headlining tour? It is! That’s awesome. So what decisions or goals were made by your band before you embarked on these dates? We want to play the best show possible, which isn’t always possible every night. I mean, it’s always hard to keep the highest spirits every single night. But I know that I just, even on my bad nights, I try to just keep my smiling, performing face on, because I want to put on a good show for people. That’s a personal thing that I’m really working on this tour. With people coming out to see us, headlining a big focus for me was definitely engaging with our fans a lot on this tour. Making time to say hi to everyone after shows and get all the pictures we possibly can. Definitely looked forward to connecting with them. Awesome! So With Love, has garnered great, well-deserved praise from several different media outlets, including us. What were your ranges of emotions when you first saw that Rolling Stone feature? It doesn’t get old, is all I’m going to say. Yeah, it’s really cool. I completely agree. I have a very personal connection to Rolling Stone. I subscribed to the magazine as a kid, read every copy I possibly could, cut out pictures, and hung them on my wall and stuff. Yeah, I mean, they’re huge. It’s just a huge accomplishment for us. I’m super happy about that. It’s always wild to see that, to have that kind of recognition from that kind of name. It really doesn’t get old. It’s always surreal. You can never shake that. Were there any other gut check reactions when the album was starting to be announced that you guys were kind of amazed by the reaction from the fans? I had a really fun time at midnight when the album dropped. There were a bunch of fans at a listening party. Yeah, it was like, I thought that was super, super cute. We’ve never had something like that before. I mean, just from the second it came out, it was positive energy. I think it’s very common amongst musicians, because everyone is just living their life, right? I always just feel like Snarls is this hobby, this thing that I do, and it starts to feel kind of small sometimes. And then, yeah. But not in a bad way. It’s just a thing I do. It’s just one of my everyday things. But then when Rolling Stone talks about it, it’s like, wow, we’re really getting some pretty serious recognition. So it’s just really cool. And I’m glad the album’s getting some good traction for you guys too, because you guys have been at this for a while. So speaking of the new record, which songs were the most challenging to create, and put to tape with Chris Walla? And I think it was recorded in Norway too, right? Yes! “Ur song,” I’m just thinking of the miracle challenges. I feel like we had a time with “Star Power.” We had a time with “Moon Tides” too. We did? I think at times. Lyrically, yeah. Yeah, like all of the instruments and like the forms of the songs came together really well. It’s just our biggest hunks were with lyrics and like finishing all the lyrics out. That’s what I feel. I think with the instrumentation being a little more interesting on this record, we were just kind of struggling with syllables. And I was like, oh, I want to say this, but it’s like two syllables too long. It’s very nitpicky stuff. Especially when I referenced “Moon Tides.” It’s like the concept was there. my missus does not need to justify herself regarding the fact that we decided to keep the birth of our child, and a small part of his childhood, hidden from the media.

but i think that i, personally, as a public figure and as a father, should however address something to you. not explain, because keeping my son away from the world was the best decision ever and that i do not need to justify myself about it. but address it, because i want to clarify things.

firstly, i’d like to thank my woman for bringing this little human to the world. for letting me become a dad and a better man everyday, but also for letting me show our son to the world and let people know about him. i love you with all my heart.

this is not a little decision, it is a big one, but we will assume all the responsibilities of it.

even though you all, now, know about our boy’s existence, we decided to not show you his face for privacy reasons. and this fact might not change unless we actually communicate it with y’all. so, please, we ask you to, if you have the opportunity to see it, not share pictures of our child without our consent (or it will lead to legal proceedings) and to respect our choice and privacy.
