hiiiii, everyone! I hope you're feeling great after that TLOU S2 episode godddamnnn ✨🦋 So, I just want to address this real quick. This may also go out to all the other wonderful, fantastic writers and bloggers on this website.

I have noticed that some of you might feel like my (or any other writer's) chapters are a bit too long, too wordy, or “too much” at times, and I get it. I don't know what prompts me to say this, but I need to put this out there for anyone else who relates.

Writing for me is such an unrestrained experience. I get off work, I eat, I turn the valve on my pressures, and I just... write. It's the best part of my day (sans writer's block nights?) I pour a good maybe four, five hours straight, and I know it isn't healthy, but I can't go on without it, you know? It's my way of taking every single fucked up thing in my mind and rushing it out on a page.

Look, I don’t just want to tell a story—I want YOU to feel it, to explore every layer of my characters and push myself to dig deeper into their own little arcs. We writers do it because we feel, and there’s beauty in letting that uninhibited journey of your favourite characters outside the bracket of their fictional world take its time.

And that’s why sometimes I tend to get a bit carried away with expressions and depictions.

But here’s the deal: if you ever find yourself halfway through and thinking, “aw, mate, this is a lot of fucking stuff for just a fic,” don’t you worry! Just take a breather, maybe grab a bite, scream into an abyss, and come back.

Trust me, the extra time you spend will be totally worth it. When you’re done, come on over and hit me with your thoughts—good, bad, worse, whatever transpired, or anything in between! Honestly, just seeing your thoughts spill out, whether in a comment or a reblog, is everything. I love hearing your reflections, even if it’s just a “this fucking killed meeeee omggggg i died dead xx” or a few creative emojis. Anything. I love it all.

It’s what keeps us writers going, right? We write because we want to share, and your feedback? It fuels us more than you know.

And for those of us on this crazy writing journey together—let’s keep supporting one another and sharing the stories we really want to tell, no matter how long they take to unfold.

It's not about the time, it's about the effort. We put so much effort, you guys. We put so much heart into this. Give them a chance. Don’t let your writers go uninspired. Don't let them fall off.

AN UPDATE on me showing my partner Marble Hornets for the first time and their batshit insane takes on the series/characters. We got to 76 last I remember. Here’s everything they’ve said for just the new entries we’ve watched between now and the last post:

- The entry where we see Tim’s body cam POV after him and Jay get attacked by the operator in Rosswood:

- “You know marble hornets is just a series of bad decisions made by film majors, which is the original bad decision” (implying that the characters being film majors was the initial fuck up and NOT Alex deciding to kill all his friends on a whim)

- During Tim’s panic attack in the same entry: “You know, panic attack aside, I think I’d really enjoy peeling all the crumblies off that dry wall”

- “I do appreciate how his arms and legs are out of the way of the body camera in lieu of his panic attack, thank you for that”

I’m always going to be incredibly unwell about the fact that he is so so gentle and good with Cassian, like. the proof that he’s capable of tenderness and kindness and love is so palpable in his interactions with his child.

And not just capable, full of- he’s so careful with Cassian, careful to keep him as far away from the danger of his ‘work’ as he can, careful to shield him from the horrific acts he’s capable of committing.

The screenshot above is actually from an episode in which he just looks so happy to see Cassian, eagerly engaging with him and looking at his drawings. And then, he brutally murders the guards posted outside while he has his visit with his son. But before he does anything even remotely threatening, he asks Cassian if he still has the headphones that he got the boy as a present. Murdoc then instructs Cassian to close his eyes and ‘keep them shut, real tight’ and put the headphones on and ‘play his favorite song’

Then, only then, does Murdoc kill the guards with the blade from one of Cassian’s pencil sharpeners. We don’t see it on screen but the bloody blade tossed out the car window as he drives away with his son has pretty clear implications…

But it’s the care Murdoc takes to keep his son safe and feeling secure that gets me. Despite Murdoc’s abhorrent, vile brutality, he cares so so so damn much about Cassian and I just think that’s so special <3

I still very much believe that Sir Hiss, Kaa, Ushari, and Fu-xi should be a squad so have some headcanons:

It starts off with Sir Hiss meeting Kaa at like a Disney Villain bar or the House of Mouse and them becoming friends

They eventually find Ushari’s ghost slithering around and Hiss asks if he’d like to hang out with them. Ushari’s surprised they can see him but agrees anyway and they become a trio

Fu-xi has somehow found his way to the Disneyverse and ends up saving the trio (well duo since Ushari can’t get hurt anymore) from some kind of danger. Hiss knows the newcomer isn’t exactly from here, but he accepts and befriend him anyway because as Ushari once said: “Sisi Ni Sawa”

Fu-xi was the first one to figure out Ushari’s actually a ghost. His new cobra friend refusing to eat was suspicious enough, but then he started to notice that nobody even touched him. Wasn’t until Fu-xi went to give Ushari a hug (whatever the snake equivalent looks like) and passes right through him

When Ushari finally confessed, Hiss and Kaa were understandably freaked out, but Ushari assured them he wasn’t here to haunt anyone and got a lot of support when his friends learned about his story

Fu-xi and Ushari are BFF’s and no I will not elaborate

Hiss and Kaa defenitely have a thing going on cuz gay snakes am I right?

Kaa, Ushari, and Fu-xi HATE Prince John for obvious reasons. Ushari because he sees him as pathetic, Fu-xi because John’s a two-legger who looks down on serpents (to his credit, it’s not entirely false), and Kaa just gets bad vibes from him

They have all seen how PJ treats Hiss and he straight up would have died if it wasn’t for Hiss stopping his friends. Fu-xi has repeatedly offered to kill him since he’s promised no one harms a serpent while he lives. PJ’s admittedly scared of all of them, especially after Fu-xi tried to lunge at him going “HOW DARE YOU TREAT HIM LIKE THAT!”

They’re a bit more lenient and understanding with Shere Kahn. Especially, Fu-xi since they both share that hatred of two leggers

Shere Kahn: Those two-leggers are horrible. All they do is ruin things for us

Fu-xi: THANK YOU, FINALLY. SOMEONE GETS IT!

They all have some sort of role: Sir Hiss is the leader and the nicest one, Ushari’s the smart and wise mentor, Fu-xi is their bodyguard, and Kaa is the impulsive comic relief (or should I say KAA-mic relief—I’m sorry I’ll go in the corner)

Fu-xi has been trying to teach the others how to be more intimidating. It’s not going well.

I like to imagine Jormungandr from Ducktales hangs out with them every once in a while (when not in his stone form). He gives Fu-xi fighting tips. Hiss looks at him respectively (and by that i mean he’s internally going “awooga” at the sight of him)

Ushari was the one to give him a chance since the demigod reminds him of a certain friend of his (it’s Kenge. They both share the same VA lol)

Hiss, Kaa, and Fu-xi have probably met the skinks at some point. They think they’re downright ADORABLE

Kaa forgets his hypnotizing powers don’t work on other snakes so he’ll be like “Truuuuusssst in meeeee~” and Ushari would be like 😐

All of them had a rough upbringing but everyone agrees Fu-xi had it the hardest. I imagine after he tells his story about how his family was persecuted due to racism, everyone else was all

The reason why they’re all besties in the first place is that they all bond over being disrespected

Not only is their friend group like a support group, but they honestly bring out the best in each other. They’re better snakes now :)

Like we've seen Greg with a bit of a shadow and there's certainly a place for enjoying a bit of a stubble scrape and all, but I think Tom loves it most when Greg's all smooth, he looks so pretty and young with a completely bare face. And Tom's good for it, shaves him slow and careful and maybe dropping a few kisses on the newly revealed smooth skin and just. Pampering his boy. Showing love through an act of service even though they both know Tom is getting just as much out of this as Greg is, the power and the hint of danger and the active choice to be gentle instead.

They finish with Tom wiping him down with a warm towel and then there's Tom cupping his cheeks and caressing them and Greg finally tugging him into a frantic kiss because somehow this _really_ got him going

Sugu is 100% the type to sense that the reader is uncomfortable enough to the point that he’ll egg her on, giving hint after hint while the reader fumbles to try to cover things up or keep him shut.

i really wonder how the reader will go about explaining that confrontation to Choso. would he be able to wait until they’re somewhere private to talk things out? probably not 🥹 this man is so erratic when it comes to his feelings holy shit. i doubt she’ll be able to just brush things off. my fear is that she’ll generate an almost completely believable lie to Choso and it’ll just add to her mountain of guilt. aaaaAaAAAA
