I forgot Hosoyan's the voice of Nezumi. I watched NO.6 before I knew anything about seiyuu (I think it genuinely might've been the 6th anime series I ever watched, I saw it EARLY in my anime journey)
I kinda wanna watch the anime again to hear him, but every time I rewatch NO.6 I like it a bit less... not because of the story itself, but because the anime cuts out SO MUCH from the novels and is a bit of a mess due to that
Ah and Shion's played by Yuuki Kaji. He was a guest at Desucon a few years back, I remember him talking about liking the series and getting a chance to work with Hosoya, and how that got my friend's attention lmao, which is also how I sometimes remember he's in it

I think my brain should ruminate on the important characters but for some odd reason I'm staring at an unimportant side character and nodding in interest to myself. 😌
#Yeah sorry guys#brain decided tonight is a Think About Fresh kinda night <3#new age specifically ofc#TAG LORE DUMP SURPRISE-#So Fresh is the middle brother. is he *actually* related to Geno and Error? shockingly yes! they're blood! but while Geno and Error got#magic relating their magic to the world around them. Fresh relies on the world around him to sustain his magic. His soul is weak and#has been since childhood. One day he went missing out in the woods and Geno had to go searching for him. only to find that there was... some#*thing* on his soul. in this AU the parasite acts to keep Fresh alive. Fresh is its host and in turn it siphons magic out of nature (and#on occassion threats to him). The Parasite is a sort of nature spirit (a much younger brand of entity like the Tree of Feelings) and it#Chose Fresh. so. Fresh can go out and “speak' with Beasts of magical origins. he just understands them. they're drawn to him. and he befrien#ds the ones he can and slays the ones he can't. Dangers to his bros are no-goes.#He stays out so often tracking beasts because he relies on moving. by staying in one place he devours life like a plague.#Geno and Error had such powerful magic they were unbothered. but if Fresh stood too close to a person with low magic for a few minutes too#long? he could kill them from exposure alone. so he avoided traditional school. and towns. and guests. like a cryptid#chasing Error put a lot of people at risk but he cared for Error more than anything.#and yeah. Fresh has a couple friendly beasts that will homing-beacon to him if he reaches for their magic but he prefers to be alone when he#is able.#he's just so silly and goofy#new age au#OH! he also has a bird he uses to send messages between his family

#fave spotting#michael craze#ben jackson#doctor who#gideon's way#1966#boy with gun#itc#a relatively rare fave spotting! outside of his DW work‚ Mike didn't make a huge amount of appearances in cult tv‚ at least not many that#survive or are easily seen; he'd previously starred in Target Luna‚ a completely lost serial‚ but didn't return when the show carried on as#Pathfinders in Space (oddly‚ perhaps because of a change of director‚ every single returning character was recast) and beyond#there were also episodes of Dixon pf Dock Green and Armchair Theatre but these are also in all likelihood lost tv; others‚ like an ep of#Hammer's sci fi anthology Journey to the Unknown‚ are frustratingly unavailable to the average viewer (I was really hoping Network would#do something with JttU after they announced an agreement with Hammer but alas it wasn't to be)#mike would have been about 22 when filming this ep (around May '65) but was still largely playing juvenile parts as here#(his age isn't given but as a borstal runaway he's clearly intended to be a teen); this aired in feb or march '66 in most regions‚ by which#time he had presumably been cast in DW (or very near to it; he'd debut in The War Machines in June of that year)#DW would act as a sort of transition for Craze from youth parts into adult roles (i mean Ben's own age is debatable but I'd say he's surely#meant to be at least 18?). there'd be some more guest spots and a few horror films to come (he was a regular collaborator with Norman#J. Warren) but he doesn't pop up with the regularity of many other Who companions so this was a lovely little surprise (zero memory of him#being in it from when i first watched years ago)

My Noel cosplay for my first con I went to yesterday!! I was a little sad I saw no other fighting game cosplays but two people stopped me for a photo which was cool:)
I did see a whole lot of other cool cosplays tho, my favourites I saw being Sun Wukong, Misa Amane and a Zack & Aerith
Also clumsy in character as Noel I dropped a fully sauce covered chip on my dress rip. I managed to clean it pretty well tho
#Went with my sister and we were there for about 4 hours she said she was glad I got her to go to something she wouldn't usually becauseshe'd#be too nervous#they also had a Toriyama tribute wall you could draw or write a message on which was cool#Didn't see any db cosplays sad only people wearing db shirts#Also surprised I found like 1 ggst thing in the stalls#I was looking into the comic con for this year just now bc it has actual big guests and the only name I recognised was robbie daymond lol#maybe it'd be fun to go to that too it's in june

Kirby Star Allies is one of, if not my absolute favorite Kirby games, and I recognize while it's on paper one of the weaker entries in the core series, it appeals to me personally on multiple levels and I think I should revisit it more
#musings#kirby#no the reasons don't begin and end with 'dark meta knight is playable'#but that is a very big reason#to expand on it i think the dlc dream friends were amazingly designed#they still fit into the structure and playstyle of a playable kirby character but they also still feel like bosses#using dmk as an example they took his boss fight from triple deluxe and made it into a playable character#preserving most of his moves and adding new ones in the same vein#before unlocking dmk i played as marx and was surprised by how faithful he felt to his boss fight#and of course being able to augment these characters' movesets with elemental upgrades makes it even better#guest star allies was a great addition because if i want to i can play through the whole game in one sitting#as dark meta knight with fire powers#that's like my ideal kirby experience right there#did i mention the dlc was all free and very well-crafted?#that's not a given nowadays so i'm very appreciative of that#i also like the mage sisters and the lore implications the game offers#fransisca and flamberge are quite possibly the first lesbians in a kirby game#and they're ALSO playable! with their full boss movesets!#you can even tag out to the other elemental nuns whenever you want#so they're three very strong characters in one package#i seriously need to finish completing my save file in star allies so i can just start up a dmk or mage sisters run whenever i want#that would be nice i think#but of course because of the main mechanic being related to having teammates i can bring both characters with me#including in other guest star allies runs#because if i want to i can just ride their back and control them that way#i wonder how easy it would be to cheese a hard guest star allies run by piggybacking off an op dream friend

I can't believe the entire cast of big brother agrees not to use slurs while in the house and in the first week of the show this absolute quack drops the n word in front of a black houseguest after talking about a different black houseguest and gets ejected before the first eviction

my aunt and uncle have two cats and I went to see them and they were like one is very social and the other one doesn't like guests. both of them came to me 1 second after entering the house and they let me pet them (I felt very blessed)
