Could u possibly write a Hunter x Reader where the reader is friends with Cid so Hunter immediately assumes they're a horrible person, when in reality they're just a caretaker for their twin siblings and are just trying to get by

I've been thinking about this for days now and I'd love to see it written out (my writing is horrid lol)

I'm so sorry this took so long, I've been rlly tryna push though my lack of motivation 😭

Hunter with caretaker!Reader

- When Hunter firsts sees you in the bar, it's easy for him to assume that you're, well..

- Just as much of a good person as Cid

- And for that reason, he keeps contact to a minimum

- Only talking to you when needed, answering in short, cold sentences when in a conversation with you

- He especially keeps careful when with Omega

- Of course, she can handle herself, but he doesn't want her interacting too much with Cid, let alone anyone like her

- This keeps on for a while, until he has to leave Omega at Cid's again

- When he comes back, he's greeted by a surprising image

- Omega was happily chatting away with you, and you were reciprocating just fine

- He doesn't immediately trust you, but it certainly interests him

- Ever since then, Omega had been trying to convince Hunter that you're actually a great person

- Until one day, it's late and he finally decided to talk to you

- "You're good with kids.."

- He would start off, almost with a tone of surprise in his voice

- You're a friend of Cid, how can you be good with kids?

- But then you explain about how you have to work for Cid to provide for your younger siblings

- And he feels

- Kind of horrible, to be honest

- Here he was, assuming you were a bad person, when you were almost like him, just trying to get enough money to provide for your family

- He doesn't really apologise, since you didn't know what he thought of you, but you can feel him warm up to you after that

- He lets Omega talk to you whenever, if anything, he prefers when you two are together than Omega just staying back at Cid's alone or with anyone else

- He'll talk to you more openly, occasionally asking you for advice on how to handle kids

- Most importantly, if he gets any spare money (which is rare, I know), he tries to give it to you

- "Here. As thanks for watching over Omega when we're gone."

- He wants to support you more, since he knows your struggle, but he can only really give you a little money

- I feel like he wouldn't immediately try to romance you, since he's busy with work and family, and you're busy with work and family

- But he keeps the idea of you two in his mind, as some sort of comfort when he sleeps

- When they find Pabu, Omega immediately suggests they bring you and your siblings along (Hunter was already thinking of this before Omega even suggested it)

- And since they're already freeing themselves from Cid, they could do it again...

- So they do, and let you and your siblings settle down on the island

- It's... so much better than the living conditions on Ord Mantell

- Plus, now Omega gets to meet your younger siblings and hang out with them!!

- Hunter doesn't say anything, but it warms his heart to see Omega with other kids, watching them play with you and him sitting back

- He still doesn't want to confess to you, since he still has things to do

- But moments like these, he feels at home, having you with him and Omega and the other kids happy

- Maybe after/during S3, he gives a very awkward confession, even though at that point you're unknowingly dating already

- But he wants to make it official, so you two can settle down on Pabu comfortably

When All is Said and Done

Of course there's a part 2 my dear! I've had a lot going on the past few months so I'm sorry this didn't come as quickly as it should have! My next fic is coming quickly which will give context as to why I haven't been writing as much.

Anyways! Here is part 2 to SOS! Some loving fluffy goodness! A little making out but nothing too spicy. Memories of sexy time but non descriptive.

“Echo! What are you doing?” you laughed.

Your love had been adjusting the flowers for over 2 hours and it seemed nothing was quite right with any of the arrangements, to which you reminded him that Omega had made the flower arrangements. You didn’t want Echo to unknowingly hurt her feelings.

“It needs to be perfect cyare. I’m not letting anything screw this up. We lost too much time already!” Echo responded, while fluffing some greens in a bouquet.

After the fall of Rex’s base of Teth, Echo took you to Pabu where you were properly introduced to his squad. Hunter and Wrecker were all smiles and welcoming and much to your understanding, Crosshair was a little withholding. Echo filled you in on the basics of what his poor brother went through, so you gave the sniper a pat on the shoulder and an assurance that you’d be there when he was ready to talk.

Omega had become your favorite instantly. You felt for her and noticed a trend with Echo and his brothers and sister. Omega hadn’t been actively tortured like Crosshair, but she had experienced her own set of horrors that left mental and emotional scarring and you made sure she felt safe with you. Which she must’ve as she let it slip that Echo was planning a ceremony.

You had cornered him in your new home and asked him what Omega meant. Sighing, Echo finally asked you to marry him, and that the ceremony was just a little get together. You laughed a little, pointing out you had just gotten back together and now he wanted to get married.

“We’ve lost so much time together mesh’la. I don’t want to waste another second.”  He’d said.

So, you started planning a little wedding. Omega was on it when it came to flowers, seating, and guests. You didn’t know many people on Pabu and so asked the young girl if she could limit it to her brothers and a few friends; just not the whole island. You didn’t want to put all the planning on her, but it seemed with Hunter and Wrecker leaving her and Crosshair behind on missions made her bored. Crosshair was fine to stay behind and help you plan while your fiancé was out finishing up some urgent missions. Besides a revolution and a wedding don’t happen by themselves.

Omega had finalised the guest list and the guests she selected made you happy. It was just the boys, Rex, Phee, Shep and Lyana and some other clones you haven’t seen in a while. You were grateful she kept it small. Omega showed you the flower arrangements and the general idea she was going with was beautiful. It was simple, gentle, and elegant. You were happy to let her plan the ceremony. It clearly gave her an outlet to deal with whatever trauma she came back with from Tantiss. It seemed to be helping as the day crept closer and closer.

Which came to today. You were supposed to be getting ready, but Hunter called you to ask for help in getting Echo into his damn suit. You searched your home and Hunter’s, but he was nowhere in the domiciles. You eventually found him by the reception area, zhuzhing up anything he could and making little adjustments to everything.

“Echo, you need to be getting ready. The ceremony is in like an hour. I should be in my dress by now! You need to get into your suit.” You gently pulled him away from a pot, holding his hand and scomp in yours.

“Everything is going to be perfect love. I have no doubts. Now, go get ready!” you pushed him in the direction of Wrecker who had been waiting patiently for you to grab Echo and carried him back to the hut.

Phee and Omega helped you into your dress. It wasn’t much; it was a halter neck in a soft white. It came just below your knees with a floral lace pattern. Your hair was tied back in a lose braid and twisted into a bun. Phee lent you some heels she kept on hand and Omega handed you your bouquet.

“You ready?” Phee asked you, leading you to the door.

“More than you’ll ever know.”

Simple strings accompanied you down the makeshift aisle as tears sprung to your eyes. Seeing Echo, in his formal uniform that you were surprised he still had, made you wish you had done this sooner. He looked so handsome! He’d replaced his scomp link with a fake hand so he could hold both of yours during the ceremony. However, you knew he’d switch back to his scomp tomorrow so you put your ring for him on a chain he could wear around his neck.

Omega and Phee were your maids of honor while Gregor was Echo’s best man. You thought Hunter or Rex would’ve been his best man, but Hunter wanted to give the role to someone Echo had more time with during the war. Rex said he would be the officiant and marry the two of you.

Seeing Echo at the end of the aisle with his closest friend ready to officiate, made tears jump to your eyes. Finally, after so long, you were finally marrying the man you loved.

The ceremony felt like it was both too fast and not long enough. You and Echo were soon exchanging vows and you just wanted to listen to him speak for a long as you could.

“My darling, when we first met I thought you wouldn’t even give a chance to a clone like me. Particularly when there were so many others who had more charisma and experience with women; Jesse and Fives immediately come to mind.”

Everyone chuckled at that, as those two were notorious womanisers. You smiled, remembering the first time you met Torrent company. Jesse had immediately cornered you and was laying the flirt on heavily. You had gently let him down and almost instantly Fives had slid into your space. Those two were so confident in who they were.

“But instead, you went for me. The clone who repeated every protocol, every order, and every plan. Then I screwed it all up. After the Citadel, after Skako Minor, I should’ve commed. I should’ve found you. I let you believe for so long that I was dead when I had just found a new squad. I am so sorry for that mesh’la.”

You nodded, accepting his apology. You now knew he was just scared you would reject his new body, his new scars. But in reality, you would love him just the same. You always would.

“Cyare, my vow to you today is that I’ll never leave you ever again. Even in death, I will find a way back to you in some way. I will forever love you and your amazing mind, your kind and courageous heart, and your steadfast resilience. I only hope I am worthy of your love.”

You swallowed back your tears, your throat tightening as your emotions started to overwhelm you. Rex soon prompted you to speak your own vows. Gods, this was gonna be hard. You cleared your throat, hoping to sound clear for Echo.

“Echo, you silly man. Of course you’re worthy of my love. Considering I never took another lover after you, that should say something. After your ‘death’ I was inconsolable. No one could’ve measured up to you and the love we shared then and continue to share now. I don’t blame you for not calling after Skako Minor. The trauma you’ve suffered would render anyone to their lowest.

That does not matter to me. I love you and will continue to love you. My vow to you Echo is that I will forever have faith in you and our marriage. I will love you and through whatever obstacles come, I will stay by your side. I will forevermore stay loyal to you and your bravery, your gentle and loving soul, and your intelligent and dauntless mind. I will be the answer to whatever echo you send out.”

You exchanged rings as Rex prompted “I dos” out of both of you. Smiling, Rex said the finality of the ceremony.

“It is my pleasure as Captain of the 501st Legion within the Grand Army of the Republic, that I now pronounce you, husband and wife. Brother, you may kiss your bride.”

Cheers deafened your ears as Echo pulled you in close. Your lips met in a passionate kiss, one that would be an example to many of what true love should be.

Giggling, you pulled Echo into your room having finally snuck away from festivities. Echo scooped you into his arms, pressing kisses to every part of your face he could reach before dropping you gently on the bed.

Sighing deeply, you both collapsed backwards, laying side by side. The both of you were smiling and laughing, recapping the evening. Recalling every silly happenstance that occurred, including a drunk Crosshair attempting the chicken dance.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Crosshair move like that!” you howled, clutching your stomach.

Echo dragged a hand down his face, wiping a stray tear away. “I honestly lost count of how many whiskies he had. Must’ve been upwards of twenty for him to fail that hard!” Taking a breath, Echo sighed. “Gods, I can’t believe this is real.”

Kicking your heels off, you turned to your side, head propped gently on your hand. “Which part, love? The fact we’re married, or the fact Crosshair is a loud, confident drunk who loses coordination?”

Pulling you closer, Echo nuzzled your hair. “As lovely as the fact we’re married is, a fact I’m still reconciling with, I can’t believe how loud Crosshair gets when drunk.” Stifling a laugh, he squeezed you tight. “For a man who is always so quiet and reserved, he sure becomes loud, crude, and outspoken after 20 Corellian whiskies.”

You grinned, remembering Crosshair’s flailing arms as he attempted the chicken dance, a dance Omega only started as a prank on Wrecker.

You sat up, pulling Echo with you. You started to take your jewellery off as Echo pulled his tie off.

“Darling, did you want to get frisky tonight or just cuddle and pass out?” Echo asked as he started to unbutton his dress shirt.

He honestly wanted to get a little naughty, but it was a big day for both of you and you had had a lot to drink that night. He wanted you to initiate first so he knew your energy levels.

You pulled your hair out of its braid, shaking your locks loose before turning around for Echo to unzip your dress. Your new husband gently pulled the zipper down as you untied the halter around your neck.

“Honestly?” You paused, pretending to think as you turned to face him. Smirking a little bit, you pulled your husband closer by his belt. “I’m down for whatever, husband.”

Matching your smirk, Echo placed his hand upon your hip as he held his cybernetic hand up. A silent question upon his lips, to which you answered by twisting it off and going to pull his scomp from the drawer. You could see Echo about to question you as you twisted the scomp back in and you immediately pressed your lips to his.

“My love, I want to have all of you tonight. Scomp included.” You kissed him again, lingering a little longer. “But, if you really want to use the hand tonight, I’ll switch them back.”

“No. I just wanted to make sure you wanted the scomp. It’s not the easiest thing to use in the bedroom.”

You rolled your stockings off, giving Echo a little show of the lingerie you chose for tonight. “Oh, please my dear. I believe I have found plenty of uses for that scomp in the bedroom!”

Echo’s face flushed at the memories of your usage of his scomp. Since your reconciliation, you had found a myriad of ways to use his scomp, to the point where Echo had considered asking Tech if he could add a neuro pathway so he could have sensation on his scomp… and maybe a bit of vibration too. Course he never did ask… life got busy, and you were too embarrassed to have Echo ask.

“Yes, ahem, I am intimately familiar with your methods my love.” Echo came up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist.

You let your head fall back onto his shoulder as you felt Echo drop his lips to your shoulder. Gently, you allowed your hips to start swaying back and forth which eventually became the two of you swaying together as if you could hear music. It was quiet, intimate. A moment that told the both of you that the day had been action packed and it was finally just the two of you. For once, the world had hit pause, and nothing mattered but you and Echo.

Wordlessly, you turned to face your husband. Your eyes shone with adoration, sparkling in the Pabu moonlight. Brown-gold irises reflected back the same twinkle of love. That was your favourite feature of his. His eyes were warm, kind and full of loyalty. Never did they seem cold or harsh. Those eyes would never hold contempt, never for you. They always held a pinch of mischief, ready to pull pranks and break rules, yet in battle they became hard with determination.

You remembered a time he came to your quarters on Coruscant after a five-month deployment. He hadn’t even been to his barracks yet. He marched off the ship with the 501st, left the Republic Military base, and blindly found his way to your apartment. His gaze was steel. You wondered if he even saw you or was looking through you. Echo stalked into your kitchen, dropped his helmet, turned around back to you and the look in his eyes caused a chill to run your spine. His eyes burned with the heat of battle and an ever-growing heat for you.

Now, you could see that same heat growing alongside the love he held now. You were certain your eyes were the same. Echo pulled you closer, using his scomp to lift your chin so your lips could meet in an ever-growing passion. Tongues clashed as your arousal grew before you felt Echo gently lay you down on your bed. He followed suit, kissing every piece of skin he could find before jokingly collapsing on top of you.

“Oof!” you exhaled suddenly. “Doll, I can’t breathe!”

Echo nuzzled your neck, leaving kisses on the exposed skin. “Mhmm, but you’re so comfy though!”

Laughing, you wrapped your arms tighter around him, forcing him closer. It was becoming clear, that as much as you both wanted to get down and dirty and consummate the marriage, you were both exhausted. You had drunk and eaten both your body weight, danced almost non-stop, and laughed at Crosshair’s drunk tomfoolery.

“Cuddles?” you murmured.

“Cuddles,” your loved echoed. “I just realized how beat I am.”

Nodding in agreement, you crawled under the covers, gently nudging Echo to join you. Once he was, he pulled you into his side, before gently running his fingers through your hair. You sighed contently, tracing his chest with your fingertip, rounding the ports in his pectorals.

Slowly, his breathing steadied and soon he was out cold. Pulling the covers up to your chests, you gave Echo’s cheek a kiss before you settled yourself into sleep. As long as you had your Echo, you knew everything would be alright.

The focus is on the Batch themselves this time, not their dynamic with the outside world.

Thoughts on The Bad Batch Episode 8 - Bad Territory - A Discussion Post

This episode has so much action and so much needed healing this week, it made me feel relaxed. Let's dive back into the exciting parts!

At the beginning, Omega is worried about Echo and Rex, relating back to the chaos that ensued at Rex's clone base and how he lost so many. Omega feels guilty for everything that's happened because the Empire is after her, since so many are getting hurt and losing their lives because of her.

Phee makes contact with the Batch, and I am so happy to see her again. She mentions Tech, which just hurt my heart. Crosshair gets to see Phee for the first time, and I hope they make some good interaction later on during the season. Phee's been trying to figure out things regarding the "M-count" situation, and so far no luck. The crew thinks of getting Fennec involved, and they decide to go with it.

Crosshair this entire episode: "Who??" Man was so lost.

Omega wants to go along, but Hunter gets strict and tells her to stay on Pabu with Crosshair. He tells her to try to get Crosshair to have someone check his hand, noticing the recurring shaking.

Hunter and Wrecker travel to a bar where they find Fennec Shand, and queen looks so fine as always. It's great to hear Ming-Na Wen's voice again. Also, the boys look so good in the purple and lime lighting, as does Fennec.

Hunter reasons with Fennec to try to get her to help them, and of course there's a price involved. Fennec gets them to help her catch a bounty she's been after, and the boys agree to help her for the information they need.

Meanwhile on Pabu, Omega easily gets Crosshair to get his hand looked at by AZ. I wonder how she managed to do so, she probably looked at Crosshair with sad eyes and pleaded with him, and he just went "Fine." AZ tries to figure out what is wrong with his hand, but he can't quite figure out a solution. Crosshair gets frustrated and walks out, and Batcher tried to follow him but got left behind. Omega's not gonna give up with him.

Fennec tells Hunter and Wrecker who she's after and takes them to a swampy planet, obtaining a boat to navigate around. Hunter finally gets to use his enhanced senses more, and Wrecker used his skills with explosives to get around the water. Fennec really called out the boys for being broke, like girl 😭

They got attacked by so many gators, everything was so hectic. This shot is crazy, but Wrecker would do this.

Crosshair keeps trying to aim with his shaking hand, getting more frustrated. Omega comes to him and suggests he try something out, and Crosshair sighs, agreeing. Batcher keeps a close eye on Crosshair and keeps him company as always, she's such a good girl.

Omega has Crosshair trying out meditation, as she mentions Gungi. Crosshair knows he missed a lot, and he definitely did with two seasons. I kinda want him to find out about Cid and he'll be like "Dang, where is she now?" He would have not tolerated her if he was with them during the past seasons.

The way Omega holds Crosshair's hand here is so soft, and Batcher is silently napping cutely. I was lowkey breathing along with Omega while she was teaching Crosshair, I really needed that healing this week. Seeing Crosshair start his healing journey makes me so happy, as I've been slowly starting my own healing journey after everything that happened last year. I resonate with Crosshair so much this season.

This shot is so beautiful and calming, I need an ambience video with this shot with them meditating for an hour or longer.

Hunter and Wrecker finish up the job with Fennec, managing to catch the bounty. They ask her for the information she promised, which Fennec reveals she does not have on her at the time. Though, she promises to keep in touch once she figures something out. She leaves the boys, making contact with someone unknown. I feel like she contacted Ventress considering her past as a bounty hunter and the Empire going after M-count targets, but who knows. We'll see next week hopefully.

We've officially hit the mid-season mark, and things are going to get hectic soon. I am nowhere prepared for anything they throw at us now.

TBB EPISODE 8 (SPOILERS!)

Bad Territory

Omega’s restlessness at Echo and Rex’s loss is kinda cute. Also Crosshair’s expression when he tells her she is helping by staying safe is just 🥺🥺

PHEE!!! our favourite pirate 💗 Her saying Tech was the brain of their squad was heartbreaking, even though she didn’t show much emotion.

She’s been looking around for the M-Counts?? I have a theory this means midi-chlorian. Force sensitive Omega??? Maybe this is where Ventress comes in handy later on.

Omega getting Crosshair’s hand checked out and him refusing to believe he’s not as tough as he thinks he is??? Adorable.

Hunter and Wrecker’s whole ordeal with Fennec had me ok the edge of my seat. Hunter got strangled twice and Wrecker got thrown against two walls— I was screaming.

Cross and ‘Mega meditating was so cute!!

TECH THEORY SEASON 2

SO HOW IS EVERYONE DOING AFTER EPISODE 13!!!???

I am so happy with this episode <3 It was so wholesome

I just wanted to ramble about why Phee works well as Tech's love interest in the Bad Batch!

The creators were waving it under our nose this entire episode!

*Tech has a new perspective of artifacts from different cultures because of his experience in Serenno (w/ Romar). Phee repeatedly mentioned that she was the "liberator of ancient wonders" and no matter the monetary value of said artifact- nothing matters more than the culture itself.

At one point, he stayed around with Phee (for a bit) to ensure that the artifact would be placed somewhere safely on Pabu.

I can COMPLETELY see Phee and Tech going to different planets to try and restore lost artifacts. Tech would most likely want to learn more about the culture itself while Phee would seek the adventure.

This entire episode was about domestic bliss, and that was only brought by her.

Tech was aware that Omega was enjoying herself with someone her age. He most likely would want to stay on Pabu for her as well. *If Phee and tech were to become a thing, then the girls could be family 👀 *

Also - I gotta love the brotherly teasing from Wrecker (and Hunter).

ALSO- Tech's reaction to "Brown Eyes" GOT ME!!! Her saying that clearly caught him off guard and in the most cutest way possible <3

Bad Batch season 2 thoughts

This was originally going to be my thoughts about the finale, but it seems like everything I want to say has already been said so here are my thoughts about the season as a whole :) (quick warning this is going to be all over the place lol)

Such an amazing season, oh my goodness! I loved the first season so much, and I think this one is even better!

I love that each character had their own development, with Tech, Echo and Crosshair being in the spotlight, as opposed to really only Hunter, Omega and a little bit of Wrecker last season

Tech: this dude is literally the best! I’ve always been a Hunter girly but this season they were neck and neck 👀 I love that even though Tech’s the brainiac of the group he seemed to learn so, so much. He learned a lot about people and himself. In the cave with Omega he was able to understand her more and her upset about Echo leaving, get her to understand his own thoughts about everything that’s happened so far, and figure out for himself some of these thoughts that he has. And through Phee he’s learned the importance of preserving things, not for monetary value, but for sentimentality. I’m sure with being a soldier, sentimental things were few and far between. It was important to travel lightly. Another thing I love with Tech is just how much of a badass he is. There are just so many times throughout the season where he was doing the coolest things and being confident during it. Ahh I love him! And lastly, his sacrifice, Omg it’s hurts. It hurts so much. I’m praying praying praying that he didn’t actually die. It shows how much he loves his family though 🥹 so yeah, Tech is amazing, I'm in denial about his death, and I want him and Phee to be together forever.

Speaking of Phee, I love her SO much! She's so fun and I love how important preserving people's cultures are to her. She seems like a great adventurer, even if she stretches the truth during the retelling of the stories. Ugh, I want those two nerds to be together forever!

Echo: I’m so happy that Echo found a new purpose this season. I missed him so much when he left, but based on his stances through the first season and this season, it makes so much sense. This isn’t to fault Hunter for not wanting to join him and Rex though. It’s clear how important this is to Echo, and I'm so happy he listened to his heart and went to go fight for his brothers with Rex.

Hunter: what a cautious, caring and calculating guy. I think it’s clear from the start of the season that Hunter wants to stay out of the radar of the Empire. I think he was a bit lost season. A solider’s life is the only thing he’s ever known. He’s good at it, and that’s how they make money. But with the empire growing and Cid becoming more suspicious with each episode, it’s clear that Hunter wants something different, better for his family and for Omega. Once he got to Pabu, I think that vision became clearer. He saw how happy everyone was, how happy Omega was; what more could a leader hope for? Sadly, THE FINALE TOOK THAT AWAY! 😭😭😭 now Hunter has to do exactly what he was avoiding all this season: face the empire. It’s worth it for his girl and brothers though 🥹 also side note Hunter was so pretty this season 😍so pretty and so buff and so fatherly hnnnggg

Omega: ahhhhh the bebo is not such a bebo anymore 🥹 I’m so proud of how much she’s grown. I’ll admit, in the first season I was annoyed when she kept running away and putting herself into danger that could have been avoided. However, I think that now makes her character growth this season so much more satisfying. She can really hold her own now! And she’s grown so much in maturity! I love that there were plenty of opportunities for her to still be a kid though. Getting excited for treasure, being a bit gullible with Phee’s (maybe true) stories, making new friends, and so much more. I wish we got to see more of her training. It’s clear she’s made a lot of progress; I would have loved to see her brothers training her with her and how to be stealthy and stuff like that. I just love this girl so much and she’s so smart and just a little ray of sunshine and I just hope everything will be okay next season 🥹

Wrecker: I love this man SO MUCH! Even though we didn’t get immense character growth, I think he still showed a lot of instances with more maturity than last season. I’m completely okay with him not getting a full character arc or something. He’s just such a fun-loving character, it would be difficult to see him go through a whole arc, in my opinion. Anyway, he gave Gungi his food when he noticed Gungi looking at it, as opposed to last season when he almost took Omega’s food until Hunter stepped in. He’s better at stealth now, and made that rocket launcher or whatever out of scraps?! Ahh that was so cool! I just hope after everything that’s happened this season, that Wrecker is still light hearted and fun 🥺

Crosshair: oh goodness. What a doozy. I think Crosshair is one of the most interesting characters ever written in Star Wars. Even though we only got about 3 episodes with him, he grew so much. Cody got him questioning the empire, and then the outpost and Hemlock going after the Batch really sealed the deal for him. All while having plenty of badass moments! I’m so scared to figure out what’s going to happen to him next season. It’s clear how much he cares about his brothers and sister, going through TORTURE and being POISONED just to not give up information about them 😭 what a guy. He's lost so much even though he thought being a soldier for the empire was the right thing to do. He's done so much for the empire and what have they given him in return? Nothing. Heck, he waited for a MONTH on that platform. I'm glad he's beginning to realize that he truly is just a number to the empire, like Hunter said. Crosshair I love you. I feel like there’s so much more I could say about him but I would be rambling even more than I already am.

Also, the music this season was out of this world! Need More Speed is an absolute banger and I'm so glad Tech got to be the reason for it

I think next season will take on a darker tone. Tech is presumed dead for now, Crosshair and Omega are with the Empire, Cid is out of the picture, and Wrecker, Hunter and Echo are grieving while trying to find a lead on where Omega might be. It's seeming like there will be a few plots going on at once too.

I'm very interested to learn more about Omega's 'sister' too! And why she's working with the Empire.

It's safe to say waiting for the next season will be grueling! I can't wait though

This is where the fun begins 😜 bringing in more characters. Some things to chew on:

I’m guessing the Teth base hadn’t been established yet because WHY TF WOULD YOU STAY ON CORUSCANT OMG REX USE YOUR HEAD LOLOL

I had to come up with some convoluted reasons for the action to stay on Coruscant, hopefully believable ones 🤞🏽

One reason I left out: Trace and Rafa are supplying Rex with equipment for his bases. They leave them in the shop where the clones pick them up later. They don’t know about Riyo. I left it out because Riyo’s not supposed to know, either. She just knows the supplies show up and Rex comms when he needs them. The folks at Andor don’t have exclusive rights to smart strategy 😇

In case you missed the allusion, the bounty hunters who caused Pantora to tighten security were Fennec and the Bad Batch in season 1 episode 4 “Cornered” 😉 At least two Pantoran policemen died and the explosion from the crash near the end of the episode looked like it could’ve damaged the foundations of the buildings it hit. So yeah, I’d say Pantora is in slight lockdown lol

I’ve said this before, but the way the clones arranged the Teth base reminded me so much of Republic command decks and Rebellion bases. Tell me I’m not the only one connecting the dots here!

Yes, the acronym for the Pantoran bill that helps the clones is ARC 🫡 I haven’t decided yet if it’s a secret bill that only Pantorans or the Pantoran Assembly know about or if the Empire is aware. You’d think a few people would start to notice the increased presence of clones, or are they that underground? 🤔

I need y’all to know I have the Chairman written down in my outline and notes as “Big Papa.” 😇

I capitalized “Chairman” because there’s only one in the Pantoran government, but kept “senator” lowercase because there’s many of them in the Senate. I’m not sure that holds water lol I might have to go back and capitalize Riyo’s title in the first two chapters 😭 It just didn’t look right to me capitalized, but I think capitalized is the MLA standard 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

It took me awhile to decide if Big Papa would be for or against the clones from the start. I could honestly see him going either way, so I went a little both ways, to build on his cunning.

But having him land squarely on the clones’ side foreshadows what Riyo says to Senator Singh about Pantorans starting to sour on the Empire. I might pick that up in later chapters.

I’ve said this before, but I just know deep in my bones that the clones would’ve looooved Big Papa! Smart, competent, and adept with two blasters, c’mon! And if he’s as righteous as Riyo, forget Pabu, the clones are gonna swarm Pantora and make cute little blue babies 🤣

Big Papa was severely underrated and underused in TCW. I have spoken.

my thoughts on the TBB season 2 finale

I’ve been more than open about my feelings at this point. I enjoyed the majority of The Summit actually, it’s just Plan 99 that I wish I could erase from my memory forever LOL

you know what, I’ll just go ahead and name everything I did like about these episodes, since I’ve done plenty of complaining already 😝

like I said, I did genuinely like The Summit as an episode. there were a lot of really great moments up until everything started to go wrong (thanks Saw Gerrera, I hate your guts 🙃)

the beginning part on Pabu with Phee. oh. my. GOSH. that was the cutest thing ever. Tech/Phee is officially up there with Kanera and Han/Leia as one of my favorite SW ships 🥰 awkward Tech was SO cute. and relatable 😝

Tech being so adamant about rescuing Crosshair, oh my heart, he misses his brother SO much 😭💙

I have to continue to talk about how freaking happy I am that Echo is back. idk how often he’ll be around in the next season, but I hope the group permanently stays together now. I missed him SO much 🥺

Wrecker was SO funny and sweet in this episode. the part where they’re like “we need to be precise” and they ALL turned to look at Wrecker, OMG that was literally the funniest thing to ever happen in the entire show 🤣👌🏻

Tech Spiderman swinging up to that sensor tower was 👀

Team Sneaky going off to do sneaky things, while Team Chaos handled the homing beacon, LOVE to see it. I was so proud of my baby girl for getting through the hanger, with Wrecker watching her back the entire time ����

as much as I hate droid deaths, Wrecker stepping on the mouse droid and it getting stuck on his foot was so silly 😆

gonna start off with an obvious one... Hunter sniper shooting down that ship with his little DC-17 blaster in one shot. sir. SIR. IM ALREADY STUPIDLY IN LOVE WITH YOU PLEEEEEASE 😍😍😍🥵🥵🥵

as horrible as it was, from an artistic perspective, Tech’s “death” was an absolute masterpiece. since I already knew that was going to happen and had even watched that moment in a clip on Twitter with the sound off, what really did me in was the music (darn you Kiners 😭💔) and Omega’s reaction. that’s what got me sobbing fr. I can appreciate something from an artistic perspective, even if I don’t like the subject matter 😞

the part where Omega was woozy after the crash mimicked the end of Reunion with Hunter after he’d gotten shot by Cad Bane, and I genuinely loved that 👌🏻

THE WHOLE SCENE WITH HUNTER COMFORTING OMEGA OMFG MY DADGUM HEART. him smiling when she woke up, the softness of his voice, brushing the hair out of her face, putting a hand on her shoulder and then wrapping his arm around her for comfort... and then to top it off, the way he gently brought up the idea of living on Pabu and asking her if that’s what she wanted to do too. I am WEEPING over this man 😭😭😭💙💙💙

as mad as I am at Cid, it was obvious she meant what she said about Tech. and she genuinely felt bad for what she did. I want her to come back in season 3 and do something to make up for doing that. she HAS to 🥺

as much as I hate Hemlock with every fiber of my being... “who knew Clones are so paternal?” WE BEEN KNEW MY DUDE. sorry, but I’m going to relish in every single confirmation that Hunter is Omega’s dad tyvm 😊

I’m terrible, I know, but I genuinely love to see Hunter in a state of despair, so him picking up Tech’s broken goggles with that sad look on his face was *chef’s kiss*

LMAO WRECKER, YOU WOULD. - It really puts into perspective how much Phee trusts the Batch to bring them to Pabu when she's never brought anyone else before. - The return of Mel! (And Phee 😁)

- Both of them are in a mood 😆. What trip did they just get back from to make them so cranky? Love the throwback to Skara Nall too.

- Hunter’s spidey senses are also on alert. And I love how close he and Crosshair are again, their pre-Order 66 bond has been restored and is even deeper. Crosshair is attuned to when Hunter’s senses go off. And their helmets sitting together on the cart is so cute 🥹

- No NO no NOOO Nooooo. This moment was ruined by the Star Wars marketing team so it honestly didn’t hit as hard as it would have otherwise, but 😭😭😭. RIP Marauder. You will live on in our imagination

- I still can’t believe that they somehow heard our outcry about what would happen to Gonky, Lula, and Tech’s goggles if they blew up the Marauder, and decided to save EXACTLY those three things 🤣 (and Wrecker. So glad Wrecker is “relatively” okay, poor boy)

- Hunter’s slooow helmet turn until we see the starship above the island. Phew. And the Imperial March coming in.

- Omega comforting Batcher 😭😭😭

- Having LAATs swoop down into a town like that would be terrifying

- I’m kind of surprised that they didn’t just burn down the town anyway. Either CX-2 is just trying to be super efficient/he doesn’t care past accomplishing his mission, or the Empire gets much more petty and cruel by Kenobi and Rebels

- It’s so interesting to me how touchy CX-2 is with Omega. Why all the shoulder pushes? Shoulder touches are very much a form of affection and communication among clones. Has that impulse in him just been turned to violence?

- Sooo…we basically will never get wet hair Hunter 🤣🤣🤣 I’ll take this much dripping and cute Batcher scratches compensation though

- Okay. I’m just going to say it. The way they chose to have Crosshair miss the tracking device was so disappointing to me. Not the fact that he missed, but how he missed. Having him be distracted and fend for his life and be late for the shot was great. But I wish they had brought his hand tremble into play here as the main mechanism behind why he missed. They’ve been building that up all season and it would have made perfect sense. Instead he rushes and like trips and just shoots too early? So out of character. I didn’t like it and still don’t :(

Oh, they're not alleged. They're confirmed by Jennifer Corbett herself. And I don't know if it's good or bad to know those titles. My imagination is overworking trying to figure out what could happen in each episode, and I'm sure I'm wrong in everything I come up with, but let's see…

I think the season starts with the scene in the beach with the giant crabs. The very first scene will be Tech telling Omega to focus on her studies that was shown at Celebration back in May, then they'll meet Phee Genoa, the new lady at Cid's parlor. I think both episodes will show how the Empire is getting stronger (as in spoils of war) and how much worse things are in the galaxy (ruins of war).

For "The Solitary Clone" my first instinct was to think it is about Cody, but no, it won't be about him. I'm divided among 3 possible storylines.

A new clone. The first season we got Howzer, so it's possible that another new clone will be introduced this season too. However, of all, this is the idea I think has fewer chances of happening.

That it's about Wolffe. Also it would make sense if he, like many other seems to do, is questioning orders and deserts and go as lone wolf wrecking havoc around the galaxy. This is a more wishful thinking than I actually think is going to happen, but it fits perfectly for the episode title.

Or it's about Crosshair. It makes sense. I've always said that he's very lonely, and (even if I don't believe he had it removed) supposedly having no chip would make him even more lonely, being the only clone who stays with the empire willingly. In here, we'll see the scene where Rampart praises him for his loyalty (which is in the trailer that they also showed at Celebration). And could be a parallel to 1x03 when we saw him at the peak of ruthlessness.

For "Faster" and "Entombed", I have no idea what could happen there.

"Tribe", on the other hand, I think this is when the batch goes to Kashyyyyk (as rumor has it) and/or team up with Gungi.

The 2 mid-season episodes are where we'll see Cody at last 😁 It's an appropriate time for him to appear after they have us waiting for the moment half of the season, and It'll leave us hyped for the next episode, because "The Crossing" airs the same day of Mando season 3 premiere so now TBB will have to fight for ratings (stupid bc I'm watching both, but some people will choose one over the other). Anyway, a friend of mine (@takadasaiko ) suggested that this could be a Crosshair episode (if the episode 2x03 isn't his) and I can see why. If the 2 previous are Cody's, whatever happens there might prod Crosshair to reconsider things and do something drastic (I'm hoping it's something good, but it could be something very bad 😞😭😭😭)

Episode 10 "Retrieval" could be the mission with Rex

The next could be the one with the monster/cloned zilo beast. I mean, with "Metamorphosis" as a title, it fits 😆

"The outpost" and "Pabu" are a mystery to me 🤔

"Tipping point" could this be the one where they go to Dooku's place in Serreno? Maybe. Possibly because I think whatever they find there, it's what push them to go to Coruscant in the finale. And I'll die of anxiety when they do 😩

And there you have it, my dear nonnie. I'm pretty sure nothing of this will be as I imagined. I'll be lucky if I get right a thing or 2, but it's fun trying to figure it out anyway 😆

Bad Batch: Season 3

My Predictions

The final countdown has started and I'm not ready at ALL! Here are some of my predictions for Season 3 and what I could imagine happening!

1. Tech will be back.

Yes, the trope of dead characters returning is incredibly overused. But as many others I have a good reason to believe that Tech might still be alive. Think about it. It’s pretty likely Hemlock managed to locate Tech’s body considering he left us a huge breadcrumb: his goggles.

Why would Hemlock get rid of a genetically enhanced super soldier, especially considering he likely knows how to properly brainwash someone?

I too like to think that Tech might be the black armoured soldier in the front. It’s the same, if not similar armour as Clone X. Maybe these are part of a special type of clone assassins or troopers? Could they be the prototype for the Dark or Death Trooper?

It’s pretty plain to say that Tech will likely come back, though probably not as the Tech we know.

2. Crosshair & Omega Dynamic

We've seen Omega genuinely bond with all of the Bad Batch - except for Crosshair. Despite her trying her best to get to him every time they had the chance to interact, he denied her any kind of response. Whether that would be because he's just too withdrawn or because he refuses to let anyone see his vulnerable side, we don't know so far.

What we do know however, both based on pure logic alone and the fact that we've heard them both involved in a heated debate in the leaked trailer from the Star Wars Celebration last year, is that they likely will spending a lot of time together on-screen now that they're both captives of the Empire.

Hopefully Omega will be able to lift Cross' spirits, he doesn't seem to be doing very well from what we've seen!

3. Ventress will be an enemy!

Asajj Ventress! We all know and love her, so naturally it's incredibly nice to find out that she'll be returning to the screens for the final season of the Bad Batch! Despite they're naturally being some raised eyebrows considering her fate in the Dark Disciple book, I'm curious to see in what way they'll connect the stories!

However, seeing as Ventress could rather be classified as an anti-hero rather than a full on hero, I believe that she won't be helping the Batch but rather fighting them in order to get to what she wants - as she likes to do.

Perhaps she'll end up cooperating when she realises there might be no other solution, but I strongly doubt she'll be any help to them when it comes to following their personal goals.

4. The Fall of the Clone Rebellion

It's sadly no secret that given the events of Rebels and the three remaining clones Rex, Gregor & Wolffe, it's very likely the rebellions aka rescue of the clones didn't go as initially planned.

I could imagine this being explained a bit clearer in the finale, perhaps even leading up to a great fight against the Empire in the end. We can't forget that the series mainly revolves around a rogue batch of clones, so the thought that it might also go out with a clone-centric subject, especially such a big one, isn't necessarily far-fetched.

5. The End of the Mission

And finally, my most tragic prediction: The end of the Bad Batch.

The writers have been making it very clear that season 3 will likely be the darkest season of the show which unfortunately leads me to think that, as much as I'd want it not to be the case, the finale will lead to the ultimate end of Clone Force 99.

I suspect the series to end with the batch ending up together in some way, as the original five, and landing in a tricky life-or-death situation. Perhaps they'll be stuck in a crashing ship with a one-person escape pod or maybe they'll be facing a threatening figure such as Sidious, leading to the decision to sacrifice themselves in order to protect Omega.

Either way, despite season 3 likely becoming a tragic rollercoaster of emotions, I'm glad we had the chance to experience the epic story of the Bad Batch. It's sad to see them go and although these characters have become like a family not only to me, but to many other fans, let's enjoy our last moments with them and let them go out with a bang!
