Jason would wear a classic suit (he said he didn't care so Alfred always picked out English style cut) but he refuses to stick to just black- so its usually a very dark blue, red, or green- He also never wears a jacket so sometimes he walks around looking like a 20s paperboy because Alfred made him wear suspenders and he "lost" his jacket two hours ago. My introduction to the world of Digital Activism.

Today I learnt a little bit about a phenomenon called digital activism. In vague terms it is the process of standing up for a cause or advertising any kind of ideology that may help serve some kind of issue for the betterment of some kind of community......all done electronically. It is a revolutionary way of mass communication that helps people become aware of situations that they haven’t come across personally and can further influence them to take a certain course of action towards a particular cause or causes.

This whole discussion about led me to think deeply about what really is ACTIVISM?

Well this question has multifaceted answers and verbs to look forward to:

1) When we want to talk on behalf of someone in a way that brings light to their struggle so that people become aware of it, it is called ADVOCACY. For example, actor Ethan Hawke standing up for LGBTQ+ community rights.

2) When we want an audience to focus on what we want to say and stand for a cause, it is called DRAWING ATTENTION to the cause. For example, The Principles of Communism (1847) by Friedrich Engles is a small booklet that highlights worker rights and future of capitalistic worldview/economy and it’s dangers. He predicted the colonisation of India and China via rapid industrialisation.

3)When we constantly supply information to some kind of platform to shed light on a particular situation that needs to be fixed, it is called RAISING AWARENESS. For example, Rollie Williams a climate change activist made a YouTube channel to publish videos and content about climate change and pollution. Now he has a huge platform of approximately 3,89,000 subscribers who engage with his work constantly and are constatly motivated to be more eco friendly in their life and life choices.

4) When we want to approach a person or a party who is causing the genesis of the cause everyone is standing for with all the appropriate evidence, it is called HOLDING someone ACCOUNTABLE. For example, Christian Smalls is an American labor organizer known for his role in leading Amazon's worker organization on Staten Island, a borough in New York City.

5) When someone exercises the act of retrospection of their own actions and situation, in a way they become aware of a certain kind of systemic advantage. This is called PRIVILAGE CHECKING. For example, Hello, Privilege. It's Me, Chelsea is a 2019 documentary directed by Alex Stapleton and starring Chelsea Handler. The premise revolves around examining the concept of white privilege.

6) When we try to engage in a conversation that encourages changes in behavior of the person or part at fault, that is called NEGOTIATION. For example, Throughout 1928 in Colonial India, cries of “Simon, Go Back” rang out in every city which the British Commission visited. And eventually, Indians got their independence on 15th of August 1947.

7) When we want to communicate our activism through visuals or art, that is called SYMBOLISING. For example, Pink Venus and Fist were created by the feminist community of the contemporary era to symbolise feminism and female power.

And as I said, all this activism done electronically is called digital activism. I think the coolest part about digital activism is it allows the causes to gain momentum in a short period of time....without taking too much space....or barely any space since it is virtual however the impact is very real. I am an environmentalist, so I really appreciate the part that this all is very eco friendly...no by products no wastage of resources, I mean not as much as making posters on paper to yell about saving trees, or travelling in cars rallying about how we hate Trump while burning fossil fuels or, the most wasteful activity of making an effigy of OPEC founders to let them know about their catastrophic impact on earth's ecology and economy. That is what I care about.

You jokingly invited him as your plus one—to which he never replied to by the way, so you just assumed that he declined and decided to just go without a plus one. You didn't expect him to show up clean-shaven and a total lady killer.

"What... are you doing here?" You asked once your feet started moving towards him.

Aizawa met your eyes and for a brief moment, you swore you saw surprise flash in those beautiful eyes of his. "You invited me."

"You didn't respond so I just assumed you weren't coming..." You trailed off. "So, I'm surprised I guess? Plus I thought you wouldn't want to be here."

"Why invite me in the first place then?"

"I don't know. I just did." It was true. Once you took a glance at the invitation, Aizawa immediately popped up in your mind. "It's ok, if you wanna leave though. I'm not forcing you to be here with me."

"Well I'm here now, aren't I?" You rolled your eyes at him but smiled nonetheless. You were glad he came. Atleast this party wouldn't be completely boring.

"Yes, of course. Thank you for blessing me with your presence, dearest." You said in a joking manner but Aizawa knew you truly were thankful that he showed up.

Aizawa despised the idea of showing up in such an event at first. But now, seeing your beautiful figure standing infront of him wearing a dress that coincidentally matched his suit, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. After all, he was with you.

"Sure." Was the only reply you got from Aizawa, along with him offering his arm to you. You stared at it dumbfoundedly for a moment until you got what he was trying to do.

"Wow, what a gentleman." Aizawa grunted at your statement. He didn't really know why he did that. But it was too late to back out now. You looped your arm with his and started walking inside, chatting with him along the way.

Of course the both of you earned some unwanted attention, you being All Might's daughter and Aizawa being the infamous underground hero who despises parties and the media, spotted together at an event. But the both of you just ignored them and sat further back, where you can talk about things a little privately.

"This will be a long night so... want a drink?" You offered Aizawa to which he happily accepted. You excused yourself and made way to the open bar where you spotted Hawks. He chatted with you for a little bit before excusing himself and started annoying Endeavor who was on the other side of the room. You carried your drinks and made your way back to Aizawa when a certain loud mouth caught your eye.

It all happened so fast your mind couldn't process the scene that just unfolded infront of you.

One second Aizawa was looking at you, then the next a certain smiling hero crashed her lips against his. Aizawa didn't protest, instead he just kept his gaze on you.

You needed some fresh air.

You placed your drinks at a random table and walked out.

You liked Aizawa. It was one of the reasons why he was the only person you could think of when you recieved the invitation. You liked him, and not in the friend way.

Seeing him there tonight with you made you thought that maybe he did reciprocate your feelings. After all, he wouldn't just go to a party willingly. But maybe, just maybe, you were overthinking it.

Maybe he attended it because of her. Not you.

"So what if he did?" You muttered as you reached the garden of the venue. "It's not like I care." You did. You cared a lot.

Because seeing her kiss him made your heart break.

"Joke." Aizawa called out to the drunk hero. "Snap out of it. You're drunk."

"Let's... get married, Shouta." The female slurred. Aizawa sighed in annoyance and remembered your retreating form.

Fuck. There goes a nice evening with you.

He made Emi sit and quickly ran after you.

Aizawa found you later in the gardens, sitting on a swing.

"Y/n." He breathed out, catching your attention and breaking you out of your train of thoughts.

"Shouta?" Why? Why did he come after you? Why is he raising your hopes? Why?

Your questions were answered when a pair of surprisingly soft lips met yours.

Your eyes closed as Aizawa tilted his head, kissing you deeper, conveying his emotions with a single kiss. His hands found your hips while yours were wrapped around his neck, bringing him closer.

You didn't want this to end. You just wanted to stay there in his arms, kissing under the moonlight. But unfortunately, you had to pull apart for air.

"Stop." Aizawa cut you off, staring deeply into your eyes.

"Just shut up and listen to me, Y/n." Music was heard in the background as the two of you drowned in each other's eyes. "I love you, not her." He confessed, as if he heard your thoughts a while ago.

Your eyes teared up and when tears fell, Aizawa quickly wiped them away with his thumbs.

"I love you too." You replied after a while.

Aizawa smiled softly then listened intently to the song playing in the background. He then offered an arm to you and said, "Can I have this dance?"

"You may." And there, in the garden, dancing under the moonlight, was where you spent the rest of the party. Just slow dancing and cherishing each other's company.

Aizawa was glad he attended the party because if he didn't, then years later he probably wouldn't have the privilage of seeing a matching ring around your finger.

that’s an interesting question. and i’m not going to pretend i know shit about genetics. truth is we have no idea what summoners have for dominate genes or what would be recessive. It’s possible, in theory, for children with a non summoner parent would still have a horn that isn’t any different in appearance or functionality than any other summoner. It’s also possible to have a reduced horn,  one without as strong a connection to eidolons - or it’s possible there may be no horn at all.

I’m more leaning that the more off-spring that are had with each generations, traits begin to die out - not get stronger like Dragon Ball Z Saiyan’s do for some reason ( it makes 0 sense but go on ). With Eiko and Garnet being the last known summoners ( it’d be interesting to see summoner OC’s ), I’m assuming it’s likely after a number generations that horns would be removed by just evolving that way from less and less of the summoner gene being passed on.

Do I think that the first generation of summoner and non-summoner parents would likely have children that would have summoner traits ie. the horn and thus the ability to summon? I do.

Do I think it would raise suspicion? Maybe to a more critical eye - but most people seem to think summoners don’t exist and history has forgotten them. Summoners migrated from what is known as the Mist Continent to the Outer Continent around the year 1300. That’s been roughly eight-hundred years from the start of the game, in 1800 - which is enough time that the Cleyran’s forgot the stone’s true origins that contact Alexander. Even Dr. Tot thinks summoners are a myth / legend than an existing people.. so I doubt once the summoners left they had anything to do with the Mist Continent. On top of that, this isn’t public information - I doubt everyone can read and write freely in this time-period. Historical information is likely for the privilaged, while everything else is passed down by word of mouth and tales generation past generation. 

With so many people unaware that summoners even exist anymore, which is my assumption, I doubt they’d point to Garnet as the cause of why her child has a horn or suspect that she isn’t a biological heir to a throne. Now, some conspiracy whackos’ might - possibly those who are unhappy with how she rules and just want her removed in favor for a different ruler.. but I can’t see Alexandria as a whole taking someone like that too seriously, nor do I think that public criticism of the ruler is a socially accepted norm in Alexandria. The horn may be seen as just a genetic mutation.

I think it would take a lot more than a conspiracy theory ( even if it’s right ) to convince people she isn’t the rightful heir to the Alexandrian throne. My thoughts on Game Freak's new policy.

Oookay... so... it's official. We're not gonna have every pokemon be transferable in Pokemon Sword and Shield. And yeah, I can see everyone being extremely upset about this. Hell, I was disappointed too. But after looking at some videos pointing to this heart breaking decision, I'm starting to see why Mr. Masuda had to do that and change Gamefreaks policy.

Yes, we may not have the ability to transfer all of the national dex, but you have to keep in mind that we are close to having over a thousand pokémon overall. Gamefreak probably is having a hard time keeping up with such a huge roster. And I know what you're all about to say, "Why can't they just reuse the models from the 3DS? It shouldn't be THAT hard." Well, yeah you could be right. But 807 pokemon so far is still a pretty huge number. It would take them quite some time to get each and every model updated for Sword and Shield. Not to mention that they always rush them out for the holidays. We've constantly been getting pokémon games through out the decade, about two games for each 1-2 years passing. Why? Because the Pokémon fandom is pretty impatient when it comes to a new generation of pokémon.

No joke, I feel like Masuda and the rest of GF are just constantly making these games, each generation now being three years apart from one another, because they're trying their hardest to satisfy everyone. But here's the thing that almost always happen: the fandom would find one small flaw in the game and immediately complain about it, begging Masuda for a new generation almost immediately. And the sad part? Masuda's got no choice but to keep making new generations for each three years, hoping to make everyone satisfied. But now, because we've made the pokedex so big, not to mention each region's debut pokémon constantly getting smaller by said number based on some fans complaints, they now have to shrink down on what previous pokémon should be in the Galar regional dex, and what should stay behind in Pokémon Home, the new method of transfering Pokémon.

And because of their new policy on transfering Pokémon, everyone, even myself, got disappointed with this news. So much so, that nearly the ENTIRE FANDOM ITSELF rioted all over the internet believing that Masuda is a fraud and Gamefreak is ending the Pokémon world. They even started a hashtag campain that demands GF to "Bring back the National Dex". I'm sure you've seen it every where all over Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, here on Tumblr, basically nearly every social media site. I sure do. In fact, I've noticed that Nintendo took down one of their oosts from E3 this year because every pokémon fan kept spamming the hashtag "Bring back the National Dex". Well, at least it's proof that Masuda, himself, already knew what he had done. He practially broke everyone's heart that day. I can't blame them, I'll miss most of, if not ALL, my pokémon that are still in ORAS, Sun and Moon and USUM. We still don't even know what Pokemon Home will have in store for when we transfer every pokémon that we've captured, raised, breeded and so forth into it yet, let alone if it'll cost us and/or have a limited time to hold them all before they deside to delete them all. (Dear lord, I hope they don't do that, because most of the fandom's gonna cancel their pre-orders immediately if they already haven't yet.)

But after watching some videos by RuffledRowlet, BirdKeeperToby, HoopsandHiphop and so on, I think I can come to the conclusion that this is definitely NOT the end of the franchise just because we're only gonna have about a half or one third of the national dex worth of pokémon from the last seven generations prior. In fact, Sword and Shield shouldn't really be about which of our favorite pokémon will make it into the region. Each generation of pokémon, including Galar itself, was always about finding what brand new pokémon reside through out the region, what new challenges await us, the many new faces we meet and all that.

Remember the third gen games, Ruby and Sapphire? Remember when you could never get to transfer the pokémon from Gold, Silver and Crystal versions to those? A lot of people were upset about that too! And now it looks as if history's repeating itself. But despite this, Masuda decided to have the company make more games, like Fire Red and Leaf Green, the Colosseum games and Emerald, one of my all time favorite pokémon games, and then add those missing pokémon in there. So what I can assume will happen through generation eight, and probably the rest of Pokémon's future, is that Masuda will resort to make more games like he normally does, and try to fix the national dex again through that. So, rather then having to either patch the games (which he already denied) or delay them along with the anime, trading cards, other merch and such, GameFreak will resort to having the entire world of pokémon be split through out the generation. For example, if we don't get Sinnoh's starters, legendaries, etc, then there's a chance they'll have them ready for potential remakes of the Sinnoh games. Still not enough pokémon? There's always a possible third version to look forward too. Hell, maybe have a Pokemon Stadium/Colosseum inspired spin off to have every one of your pokémon, competitive or not, to store and use for all sorts of battles there. They can do that if Masuda chooses to.

I was about to give up on pre-ordering the games too, but after some thinking, I've decided to still get them. I may not be able to have most of my hard work and long time companions with me, but we all still got new pokémon to discover and plenty of fan favorite pokémon roaming the wild areas, including some that I myself may still use for some gym battles. We may not get some other starters, but Charizard was shown in one of the trailers, so that's proof that we may get all three of the iconic Kanto starters. We may not get some other pokémon like Absol, Zangoose, or what ever competitive pokémon you prefer, but we still have all time favorites like Gardevoir, Lucario, Tyranitar, and so forth. And yes, even Mimikyu will still join us. And sure, we may not have the privilage to transfer all of our legendaries and mythicals, but then again, I wouldn't mind Gamefreak having to make room for a new batch of legendaries rather then to just find them all in one big region yet again. Also, uh, anyone miss the old days when we get a special item and go on a quest to find a certain mythical? Aren't you sick of getting them for free, or in Mew's case, have to pay $50 bucks for a pokéball shaped controller? Yeah, I'd like them to bring back mythical quests too...

Anyway, this whole fiasco really isn't that big of a deal. Masuda knows well that we'll all be upset about this. So what will he do if he won't update Sword and Shield after their release date? Just keep making more games and have all models be updated and ready for the next Pokémon core RPG title. I'm hoping the third version will have every pokémon be fullt transferable. As for Pokémon Home, we still don't know what it'll be like other then the fact that it won't be out until early 2020. If I had to guess, it'll probably be similar to Poké Pelago from generation seven, but probably will have some other features too. Maybe. I don't know...

Tl;dr Masuda isn't taking away all of your pokémon, he's gonna have some more games soon. So just calm down, and be patient on what else he and Gamefreak have in store through the 2020's. Also, please stop threatening him, that's not gonna help anyone at all.

Political rant to gain some courage

Once you stop really caring how other people feel about you or your interests, you do become happier.

I get it, being into social justice and removing biase is a good thing and all but not everyone was raised to be completely unbiased and politically correct.

I can go on for days about how privilage truely dose shape the mind but its like your irredeemable if you have one flawed belief on here. People will tear you to shreds, sometimes rightly so but its like they dont know that people do change and they need to be pushed to in a manner that dosent call for their head if they arnt completely woke.

Im white, i recognize this gives me a privilage over colored people. I dont hate myself because im white and im proud of the heritage i have. Im proud of the many european places my ancestors came from and their culture. I may not approve of the actions commited by the government in those place all the time but i understand a whole country cant stand behind something realistically. I know being white dosent make me better than colored people and i advocate for equality for all races. I dont condone violence, missionarism or imperialism.

I have german roots, i enjoy learning about and participating in german culture and its events. I live near a city that has alot of German immigrants in it and is one of the only american cities that wide-spread celebrates Oktoberfest and has a german name. This dose not make me a fucking nazi. This dose not mean i condone the invasions the german military has done in the past aginest jewish, polish, greek etc. People. For fucks sake i have polish immigrant great aunts,uncles and cousins.

I mentioned having a partially german last name and heritage and had a proudly jewish account call me suspicious on the bases of " having an anti-semitic heritage".... What. Are you seriously gonna dehumanize, assume and dismiss an entire culture,country and millions of people based on the actions of one man in charge of the government for a short time?? If i was accused of being inherently racist just on the fact of being white, id be outraged.

If i accused a random binary trans person of being enbyphobic, they'd be outraged.

Any way, though this post has been all over the place, ill give some last concluding thoughts.

If you think your better than someone else who is part of a majority, simpley because you are part of the opposing minority. Your not woke, your not progressive and your really honestly just a dick.

Also being oppressed on one axis dose not erase your privilage on another and opression and privilage dose not exist in a vaccum. No one privilage trumps the rest and no one oppression trumps the rest.

Lastly, dont expect a fucking award for being a decent and respectful person to minorities. Woo hoo, your white and not racist, laa dee fucking da. Your straight and defended a gay person from someone homophobic like any decent person should, you want brownie points? The minority you protected will more than likely thank you but you shouldn't expect more than that.

Thats about it and if your gonna give me shit for pushing for real equality rathur than real superiority( so it pushes out the satire and fun of things like gay superiority or the down with cis bus cause its a joke). Net Neutrality Information/Update

Guys, there are only 5 days until the FCC votes. The FCC vote on December 14th IS NOT THE DEATH DAY FOR NET NEUTRALITY!

The FCC votes then whether they will send their proposition/bill to Repeal Net Neutrality to Congress/The Senate for them to vote on.

The FCC CANNOT PASS/MAKE LAWS. The reason we email the FCC members was for making them vote to save Net Neutrality and vote against the repeal of it.

If enough members of the FCC vote against the proposition to repeal Net Neutrality, then it will not go up to The Senate/Congress to be officially voted on.

Important Information on USA Government:

•In America, The Legislative Branch is made up of Congress.

•The two main law making/passing parts of Congress are The Senate and The House Of Representatives.

•The FCC is not apart of Congress, therefore they cannot make/pass laws.

•There are 435 members in The House Of Representatives.

•There are 100 members in The Senate.

•The Senate is considered to be higher up than The House Of Representatives.

•According to some articles and informative post I’ve found, 250/435 members in The House Of Representatives have been said to have been “bought out”. This means big business companies that want the repeal of Net Neutrality paid them money to vote for the repeal. ((Information like this for The Senate is unknown, but if I find out I’ll update this post/make another post))
