Sanjis love life can be summed up as a series of one night stands.

Thats never the way he wanted it to be though

He dreams of love, of a real connection, of building a home.

But it seems everytime he finds someone, all they want to do is fall into bed with him, then ghost.

He would almost convince himself that hes just bad at sex, but sometimes one of his ex's will text him, make it clear theyre not looking for anything serious just another 'fun night'.

So hes not a bad lover, just unlovable

He hates himself for everytime he agrees to meet back up with one of them. Eventually, when being seen as no more than a warm body begins to wear him down, when it begins to hurt to much to continue on, he will block that persons number, vow not to fall back into such a self destructive pattern.

When he meets Luffy and his friends, well, its not the type of love Sanji has always been searching for, but with them theres a connection and its real.

And from Luffy, Sanji meets Zoro. Their friendship may be unusual, but its there. Its there with their shared looks of exasperation at Luffys antics, its there through their bickering, its there in their shared silences.

Until Zoro goes and asks him out.

Sanji is pre-emptively hurt by this. He thought they got along -in their own unique way- but now he knows Zoros just going to be another person to take a tumble in his sheets, then forget about Sanji entirely. Maybe take all their other friends with him when he leaves.

Still, Sanji says yes. As painful as it will end, as it always ends, Sanji knows he wont ever get what he longs for if he doesnt grasp at any chance hes shown.

They go on a few dates. Zoro is not the most romantic person by any standard. But they have fun, they talk, they get lost, they get to know each other.

Its the fourth or fifth date when after walking Sanji home Zoro says goodnight, makes a face, darts in to smush their lips together, says 'goodnight' again and takes off at a brisk pace. It leaves Sanji standing stunned for a good minute. When he wraps his head around their first kiss he cant help but laugh fondly over how adorable and awkward Zoro can apparently be.

Its a few more dates after that when Sanji starts to get antsy. Zoro has never pushed for more, theyve only shared a few chaste kisses, but Sanji knows. He knows either he sleeps with Zoro and he loses him. Or he doesnt sleep with him, Zoro gets bored and Sanji loses him.

So after their next date Sanji brings him home. Bring Zoro to his room.

Its intense.

Zoro watches him, studies what Sanji likes. Makes himself vulnerable too.

Sanji has never had sex like it before, cant imagine having an experience like it with anyone else.

And in the morning Zoros still there. Snoring away beside him.

Sanji knows that that doesnt have to mean anything.

He cooks breakfast and Zoro wanders into the kitchen half asleep. But Sanji knows, once Zoro has some food, once hes a little more awake, the man will leave.

But he doesnt.

They spend half the day together, Sanji spending it in a confused daze.

They go out on more dates.

Zoro holds his hand in public.

Presses a kiss to Sanjis temple and only waves off their friends teasing when he does.

Its the morning after the third time they spend a night together when Sanji finally breaks down.

The early morning light is soft through his curtains. Zoro is snoring spread out beside him, and Sanji, sitting up, starring at him, bursts into tears.

Zoro wakes up confused, tries to ask whats wrong, but Sanji is sobbing too hard to explain. Not that Sanji would even know what to say.

So Zoro wraps his arms around him, pulls Sanji in close. Rubs soothing circles on his back and tells him "I've got you. I've got you."

And thats when it hits him.

Synique is a genius scientist with over 7 phd’s and multiple achievements to breakthroughs in the science scene. He mostly stays hulled up in his underground lab and is quite unapproachable but he always makes sure to have time for his daughter(and the annoying man with keys to the house). He works hard to make the world better for her and has long stopped denying his care for her. From going to all her ballet practices to taking breaks from work because she wanted to have tea time with him.

Sebastian braies is syniques patron, early into syniques career he sponsored him theyve been buisness partners since. Despite his kind expression, He is quite pompous and flamboyant, a eccentric perfectionist . He knows what he wants and expects you to either follow his lead or get out of his way. Synique is the only one who is able to go against him, they both challenge each other and annoy each other despite having worked together for over 30 years now.

At first he didnt understand rose, he didnt really like kids and Sebastian was just confused on how synique of all people could end up with a child. I mean he hates people?! He doesnt go outside!!? What women with common sense would hit that!?! It doesnt help that whenever he asked synique would just say he dug rose up out of the garden. Rose grows on him though, he thinks she is a smart kid and he likes how she is more reasonable than her stupid father.

Sebastian was the first person synique went to when rose went missing. He is the only person who hasnt tried to convince dr aurelle that his daughter isnt dead, if anything he is just as determined to find her in his own way. They both have grieved her for so long but they are determined to find her

Rose love her family so much, the only reason she wishes to go back to her world is because of her father and mr braies. In reality she has no other reason, her world failed her, but her want to be with her family is so strong it doesnt matter that she feels safe in twst than her own world.

So I have not yet watched Severence, but I have seen quite a few screen captures of it over the past couple weeks.

Well last night because I slept more than 6 hrs by going to bed right after work, my brain pieced together what id seen in screenshots and made the weirdest fucking storyline, please tell me if it’s anything close to how the show is in reality.

I walk into my office to find my parents (who are too old to party) and a bunch of people I dont know dancing in brightly lit rooms in suits.

It is casual friday, im the only one in cargo pants, a hawaiian shirt and a tie. Everyone glowers at me but goes back to dancing 70s style.

I get irritated so I go into the break room to get some coffee, and someone has filled the entire place with plants. There are two old gay guys whispering to each other amidst the plants that they are in love but their love is forbidden.

I get my coffee which tastes like cherry soda and marshmellows, wtf, and walk back into the main office room which has now turned into a long white hallway. Everyone is lined up, and there are scientists with clip boards and gloves telling everyone their new assignments.

I go to get mine and they tell me I cant participate because I am dressed casual for casual friday. One of the people from the office looks at me and whispers “help”.

I punch a scientist in the face. He doesnt move.

The lights go out. I am suddenly late for class in college that I havent been in 20 years. I enter my classroom that looks suspiciously like the office and there is an orgy happening.

I dont know whether to be confused or angry no one invited me.

My Literature and The occult professor puts a record on the record player and tells everyone theyve passed the orgy test. She tells me im expelled for not participating.

She wont let me into my locker which is suspiciously in the room in the back with a bunch of plants.

I tell her if she doesnt move ill take off my clothes. She shrieks and lets me through. (Boy what a lovely internal self image abby lol)

I go into the backroom with all the plants, open up my locker and pull out my apparently infinite yaoi comic collection.

Amongst the plants are the two old gay guys from before but younger. Their love isnt forbidden here.

I leave the room and im back in the long white hallway and people in suits /scientist outfits are clapping and telling me we need to run the simulation again to confirm results.

I then start dreaming about cats fighting off a giant robot using kitchen utensils.

The writers never complete a plot.

-Kie and Sara’s relationship in kook year: them only mentioning ONCE and then…they could have wrote little inside jokes giving us input in what could have happen (aside of what little explanation we got). Not ONCE

-Pope and Kie’ storyline?? Why would you make them hook up if they wouldn’t have a repercussion? It was for the giggles?? Like you could have ended it in the kiss we got in season 1 and then Kiara wanting to be with Pope only because she was grieving and then realizing what she was doing but no let’s make this a item so we don’t talk about it never again.

-The melted cross????? No saying about it in season 4?? How was Pope so chill lol even Cleo could have a line delivered there.

-How the fuck Kiara was in good terms with her parents?? The kicked her out- they welcomed her but putting her in some test of sort- failed- she was sent to kitty hawk- she returned but was not welcome - they appear at the ceremony - the meet at court and all is WELL??? Excuse you what the hell?? And she even told JJ that everything was better than going to live with her parents BEFORE the court thing and AFTER the ceremony I’M…

-Which brings me to Kie’s PTSD of being kidnapped not ONCe But TWICE!!!!! Not even a little bit of a struggle?? (We could count her being locked in the hyper chamber but please DEVELOPED IT MORE)

-The obvious one: JJ discovering he is adopted and then being killed without knowing ANYTHING i want to cry please the consistent of this show is none. Like we didn’t even get an explanation of Luke’s background of why he was a piece of shit to JJ when he oh so seem so nice around him (This is purely bad writing because that man is evil and because it was so out of pocket that storyline they had to redeem him b u l l s h i t)

-Cleo life story???????? And thats my only observation. It seems they only put her in the show and as a part of the pogues so Pope could get the girl instead of building up a personality for her first.

Peterkin’s murder, Shoupe and Plumb corruption, JJ’s arc, The first gold, LIMBREY and I could go on and on. So many plots that weren’t over. If you don’t close one then don’t add more!!

And don’t get me started at how fast everything happens: Sarahs and John B’s relationship + them sinking together (if you said months or even a years passed ok acceptable they know enough about each other but they were only for days lol), the first gold hunt and the cross being one month from the El Dorado? Those kids are seriously better than Sherlock Holmes lol, Jiara looking like a newly couple when 1) theyve been best friends since kindergarden (or third grade, another inconsistency) 2) it has been like 18 months

I don’t know if it is because they wanted a teen drama show like the oc meeting the groonies blah blah but those shows were 20ish chapter long if you have 10 episodes you will never have time to explore all the things you want. And yes is a critic to the awful writing they do in this show AND the fact that they only settle for 10eps because honestly a show that envolves a lot of main characters have to have a consistency. Like in the first season all the personalities shine but then a lot of them loose depth or turned a hell of dramatic also they stopped writing good relationships and not in the romantic kind: where was Kie and John’s B relationship after season 1?? JJ and Sarah’s?? Cleo and Kie’s?? And I could go on and on…

I watched the show for the funs and the giggles but that stopped after seeing the mess of season 4 part 2 was and also may i say, Jiara fanfic writers captured all SO well and it is so funny and beautiful to read you all because you DEVELOP and DEEPEN so i think thats why i feel in love with this characters, aside loving Jiara as a pair in the first seasons: thanks to you all! So thank you!!

also totally open to have a conversation (debate even?) about this!! since we're all only speculating its interesting to read other peoples opinions and interpretations of the situation

so this is gonna be a weird mess of thoughts put together but ill do my best to make it readable

in very short terms: i absolutely, absolutely, think SOMETHING happened. i wanna clarify from the get go that i dont KNOW anything this is all speculation and analysis and, if i may, to a degree, a bit of common sense

lets start by saying that i think frank and gerard were deeply and are deeply in love with lynz and jamia i dont think thats ever been doubted. however i do think that (especially for frank) Feelings were involved to some degree

i do think that frank got into it a little bit more deeply than gerard. i think the pro rev fight says a lot about that given the timing (gerard marrying lynz right after) and how it played out (frank being the one who sought him out, gerard pulling away.) in this case specifically i think there was either an explicit conversation about stopping what had been happening in pro rev, or an implicit one where it shouldve been idk if obvious, but shouldve given frank a clue that they should stop. we know gerard didnt tell anyone he was getting married, but i assume frank knew gerard was getting into something with lynz cuz i dont think he wouldve kept that a secret (and even if he had i find it hard to believe he succeeded given the fact they were on tour together)

i also think its interesting how things played out bc of how serious gerard was about lynz cuz gerard was dating eliza and it hadnt been an issue (granted, the situations were wiiiiidly different, which is what i mean when i mention the seriousness of gerard and lynz), frank was deeply in love with jamia and thatd never been an issue. i think for frank and jamia whatever was going on with gerard wasnt a problem, while as soon as gerard got serious with lynz he wanted to stop everything in its tracks. nothing wrong with that, just pointing out the differences

anyway got carried away with pro rev. would also like to add that idfk what HAPPENED during pro rev like what the actual fuck made them so horny. cuz it was so bad. like it was sooo bad

i think franks admiration for gerard speaks loads about the hypothetical difference in feelings. they were always very very vocal about each others admiration but frank was a bit more explicit about it. which doesnt mean gerard didnt reciprocate but what we do know is what franks said.. some things about gerard very often and while gerards done the same, franks always been more intense about it. idk, i may even dare say i think frank has gerard on a bit of a pedestal and while i also think gerard does the same, i think the height of the pedestal is pretty different lol. idk i feel weird saying this bc i dont want to, yk, SAY how they feel about each other as if i know tham (funny saying this given how im writing about exactly that, but again, hypothetical! analysis! my personal opinion given what theyve shown to us and im very aware i dont know the facts and (hope im wrong) never will)

now about bottoming (ik we're talking about dynamics and bottoming/topping doesnt exactly 100% reflect a dynamic but lets just go with these terms) idk this is funny ive never like, stopped to analyze their dynamics during (hypothetical) sex. i do think its interesting to point out that gerard is such a sexual person on stage, and while frank is too, gerard is like waaay more intense (then again, the context is different since gerard is the frontman and being 'looked at' and 'consumed' more than frank. also gerard does love to rile up a crowd). i dont think i have a particular opinion on this topic bc again, all i have to analyze is whats happened on stage and that can be widely different from how you are off the stage when someone you love is involved and no ones looking

HOWEVER frank is more aggresive on stage, so that could potentially be a factor too. gerard is complicated for me not sure why i would love to have a convo about this whole topic specifically. gerard sounds a bit more sure of himself overall (not saying he IS, but god franks got some self esteem issues and while gerard does too, frank is like.. so explicit about it and we know a lot more about it). i dont think any of what im saying would reflect on sex but its all ive got. with all this in mind, not sure why i see frank being more 'in control' during sex idk he just gives me the vibes hes more into that. i am lacking arguments for this btw i am thinking out loud

ugh if there’s one thing this world needs is more Cass and Eugene interaction, like I don’t just mean bickering and the sort. Like actually being there for one another when they’re upset and helping each other out.

I’ve literally found about 2 fanarts where it’s just them and they’re not getting at each other! I still think that they would bicker but it would actually be way less intense and spite-fuelled after the series and they’d find some common ground, especially since they are the only ones (beside Pascal ofc) who know what it’s like to have died and come back to life, I can’t imagine how relieved Eugene would be to get to talk to someone about it and have them actually understand.

I hc anyway that after Cass came back she was like super out of it, and Eugene knew exactly how she felt and could help her, I think Cass would also be relieved that someone else knew what it was like and could sympathise with her.

I think though one of my absolute favourite hcs I’ve seen for them is that after Cass comes back Eugene defo sorts out Cass’ haircare routine and looks after her hair for her, cause he more than likely has wavy/curly hair too (but just straightens it most of the time). And although Cass is like super reluctant to let him help at first, she eventually gives in and it’s like the best her hair has been in forever so she just lets him do it regularly from then on and it’s just their thing. Also it gives Cass a chance to open up as well (no eye contact, relaxed and something to distract her if it gets too bad) which she definitely needs especially straight after coming back to the castle post ziti.

oh my god i never told you guys abt my disaster twins competitive pkmn players concept. one sec ill put it under a cut for you bc this might get long lmao

so basically. gen 9 came out, and the boys, in their recent-switch glory, were like omg hell yes. game time. donnie and leo both get violet and mikey and raph both get scarlet (theyve got their own games bc they would tear each other apart if they had to share physical copies trust me) and generally trade around exclusives and chill etc etc. also while im on this leo picks quaxly, mikey is a toss up between fuecoco and quaxly, raph picks fuecoco obvs, and donnie picks sprigatito, as does april when she gets her own copy of violet later (which she honestly only chose for the loyalty points lmao she likes karaidon better)

anyways i was saying. donnie is one of those nerds who like perfectly iv trains his normal ass in-game team and builds perfect compositions around typings and looks up the gyms types n stuff and he was SO excited when he learned abt tera types and how they impacted team comps

leo on the other hand has the messiest type crossover and team comp EVER but still manages to thrash his opponents bc he uses really good movesets and strategies

the twins get into watching competitive videos while they play violet in silence together (hashtag parallel play) until donnie eventually starts commenting on weird stat spreads and leo eventually bursts out about shitty move choices and weird sets, or leo starts showing donnie videos abt odd pkmn getting high in latters, and then they start watching showdown battles...

and they lightbulb.

donnie loves building teams more than anything else, loves making them efficient as humanly possible.

leo loves showing the potential of odd pokemon and would kill for a good strategic challenge after all this time (hes been protecting against nemona and using electroweb against gym leaders, poor guy).

and, well, its not like you need anything special to get on the ladder in violet...

they start out simple, donnie building a basic team and leo reviewing it before going at the basic gen 9 ladders.

they just start going at the ladders with that team in their free time, then a different one when they get bored, then one with a few oddballs when donnie decides to ask leo what pokemon he wants to use, then they get kind of bored of just paldean pokemon so donnie gets to work understanding showdown...

but while its fun, they dont have anyone to brag to, because their brothers have no fucking clue what theyre talking about.

donnie has experience with youtube, right?

so they set up a little joint thing; a channel called disasterx2, no webcam, just videos about ladder battles. they end up specializing both in unique teams and movesets and in just vids about breaking down walls in ladders with a normal team. what makes both nifty is that donnie explains the whole team comp in a separate video to the battles, and the aesthetic quality is improved by donnies sensibilities and mikeys input (he was absolutely excited when they asked him to help with it. leo was no help. so much offense, actually, i have a feeling his fashion sense is good but the moment you try to make him make something look good visually on its own hes screwed.), and leos strategies are batshit, and ofc the boys are the boys, they go on tangents sometimes when they do real-time audio during battles and sometimes they just. dont cut them out. raph and mikey make guest appearances sometimes, april cheers them on on occasion, her and raph are very relieved bc its finally something non destructive they can spend their time on, its all great.

leo very often picks pokemon and movesets out and then donnie provides the pokemon (through breeding and stat spread tweaking, because god knows hed love that nerd shit). donnie likes it because 1. how leo uses those outlier pokemon is very interesting and 2. it gives him an opportunity to think about how to apply the right stats, natures, etc to apply to the pokemon and moves leo chose.

one of my favorite ever headcanons is that leo gets quiet when he focuses. like, dead quiet, and terrifyingly quiet. hes well known in their fandom for being very chatty over voiceover and then pretty quiet whenever hes playing challenging battles. donnie doesnt understand the strategies all that well so when leo gets too focused he just talks a lot abt the stat spreads and they add extra text to the video lmao. sometimes they utilize their clueless family members to have them ask questions they wouldnt have considered due to their knowledge in videos, sometimes donnie snags mikey while leos too quiet when theyre doing real-time audio, etc the fam knows theyre just glad theyre having fun

sodachi/tsubasa: this ones a shout out to you. but also. it is very good... i always think of that idea of them bonding over cooking. not only would they be good for each other with each able to provide the kind of support they'd both need, but i think they'd understand each other too. its good 😌

hitagi/ougi: i dont think i would like this one seriously but its just really funny to imagine. araragi crying in the background, ougi being so confused... its so fucking funny

hitagi/tsubasa: i know this one doesnt work bc like the whole point is that its unrequited and all... but i still think its cute. two best friends and they're gay for each other? that's wonderful. i love it.

koyomi/shinobu: weirdly i do like it. wouldnt say i necessarily like it more than the canon koyomi/hitagi but theres something i can appreciate about how theyre stuck immutably together, bonded forever... once koyomi gets older we dont know how his lifespans gonna work, so theres something there about being lonely and solitary in the world except for just one person who you'll always be with whether you like it or not. it's not exactly a sweet or romantic type thing but its more like a 'you're all i have' melancholy sort of thing.... and thats interesting to me

tsukihi/nadeko: the classic i love this one yeah. i dont even think it'd be a super healthy relationship given how tsukihi is.... tsukihi. but thinking about how nadeko has been pining over her for so long i think itd be interesting, especially considering tsukihi would definitely not be as infatuated with nadeko as nadeko would be with her. and nadeko would have to put up with so much for it... they'd probably break up like every other week because of tsukihi's fickleness, or like have whole periods where they dont talk and nadeko thinks theyve broken up or are fighting and tsukihis just being tsukihi. 'the things nadeko does for love' is basically how i think of it. maybe she'd be better off just moving on... poor nadeko. not very good luck when it comes to love...

suruga/higasa: ok i said i wouldnt talk about spoilers so i wont talk about this one much. but i think they'd be cute together. i like how higasa sees through suruga. i think itd be super cute if she was teasing her out of like a crush. they should kiss

also any like specialist/specialist stuff i'd probably like, just bc we get so little of those guys that its cool to play around with their dynamics. maybe like yozuru/tadatsuru for like a kinda rarepair rivalry dynamic... i could see them as a divorced couple maybe. but really just. any of them. hell maybe theyre even a polycule who knows.

and also rouka/suruga is good but i dont really have any thoughts on it per se, i just like it a lot. its complex... its bittersweet... ya feel

ships i dont like:

koyomi/tsubasa: yeah p much everyone's talked about why this would never work. i might almost like it for like, the angst it would bring but i think it doesnt quite reach there either so its just meh.

koyomi/ougi: m..m... dont like it.. dont like it. i think their relationship is so much more interesting the way it already is so i dont really feel the need to see them in a romantic one yk. i dont think it would be good for either of them either... they will just stagnate if they stick around each other. and also this is like maybe not so applicable bc anything is possible in the ship world but. these two just would never. they dont see each other like that yk. if im looking from an analysis lens here, the camera which is mostly under koyomi's perspective that licks and slobbers over all the girls never does that for ougi. despite him thinking shes like "bewitching" (appearance wise but also probably in the other sense too lol) or w/e. i could write more about this and the harm i think it would do but it'd get spoilery and become a dissertation so ill leave it at this. ummm... dont like it. :p

deishuu/hitagi: ok i see people talking about this one a lot so i just have to put my foot down.. i think its meh. i think its whatever. i think kaiki is not and was not interested in her, and just saw her as a brat who was infatuated with him. and while i do think its possible or maybe even probable that hitagi was infatuated with him while he was scamming her bc she saw him as a savior... i dont think the infatuation would have been that strong. maybe just a little crush, but nothing serious. i wouldnt go so far as to call it love yk, if those feelings were there... and on the idea of that 'if,' i also think its way more interesting if kaiki only THINKS hitagi was infatuated with him when really she never was because it shows the flaw in his perception. like thats the kinda perspective cool thing i like in the monogatari series... thats why i like how its so vague in canon too. the ambiguity makes this dynamic interesting imo

suruga/karen: kind of dont have strong feelings about this one but i cant really see it. i dont think they'd be the right dynamic for each other and it'd become awkward...

this ask has deadass been in my box for two years now um. holy fuck. its gonna be super long bc this is actually my excuse to force myself to figure out how this fucking story actually goes. youre my sacrificial lamb, babe <3

under the cut for toxic/abusive relationship themes | mostly stemming from not putting an end to toxic cycles and briefly refusing to believe it was an issue

so i had this old ass wip, right. it was called parisian lovers despite no one in the entire story being french whatsoever and it was basically a love story for a sexual relationship with danger turning into a genuine view into what happens when you dont. like check yourself before running headlong into what you think you want

ive since started readapting it to (surprise) swtor and an excuse to explore sith pureblood (henceforth referred to as "tsis") cultures surrounding whats considered normal in their dating/relationships, and also how it challenges familial relationships

the details of it are super fuzzy mostly bc all the meat of it was lost to twitter dms that i refuse to open. so heres a quick fast easy rundown

basically, youve got tsiksos. he is the third born and third son of an extremely powerful and wealthy union of bloodlines, and since hes really not the most important one, he decides he wants to study a niche theory of dark arts. something about how channeling power needed to cast sorcery can be amplified through vocals and choreography. basically he went to a contemporary dance school for the shadow wizard money gang

tsiksos meets ûtainoz, who is practically a beast in this school. he sees the valedictorian spot and hes steamrolling anyone he needs to. hes ruthless, hes heartless, hes a smooth-talker, he will do anything to get his way, and tsiksos found that hot and sexy and definitely worth falling in love with

predictably, this goes terribly. tsiksos doesnt know what the hell he walked into, only that he may as well enjoy it because hes sleeping with the hottest, most talented guy at this school. ûtainoz got a little too comfortable, though, and by the end of their tenure there lost his valedictorian spot to tsiksos,,, who was also gunning for it right under his nose

but whatever, its fine, they go their separate ways with the taste of one anothers venom permanently burned in each others mouths. they both fill their own niches. ûtainoz goes into more of a performative, traveling role and relies on his aesthetic rather than his power - whereas tsiksos followed through with his intent and deepened his connection to the dark arts through what he learned. he became something of a siren, honestly

anyway anyway anyway. tsiksos moves off of his homeworld. he decides he wants to actively burn fires through everywhere ûtainoz has been. and hes extremely successful. he wants to win, he needs to win, he will win. he meets utajhaiw while in the new city, and while poor utajhaiw falls in love - tsiksos sees someone he can keep close with him if he just uses all the right words.

which works! theyre together, its great, theyre fucking almost daily. but they argue every hour. to the point where it gets violent more often than not with tsiksos on the offensive. the arguments are largely fabricated or instigated out of boredom. but isnt it worth it for the sloppy nasty disgusting hateful makeup sex?

yeah well. the neighbors of their apartment dont think so. theyve nearly called the cops every time, until neighbor laishtzi comes over to investigate what just hit the wall. he gets pulled, literally, into the middle of their fuck. his partner rîshja follows and, likewise, gets pulled into the middle of their fuck. its like some sort of apology thing for them too and it becomes regular.

enter: their friend nunjor, a lawyer (i think. something like that) who also ! gets pulled into the sex life. whats worse is that both tsiksos and utajhaiw both fell in love with nunjor and wanted to have him as a permanent third.

sometime after this, the whole hatefucking thing gets a little too hateful. tsiksos actually genuinely nearly kills utajhaiw, and hes starting to hide the knives in earnest. nunjor suggests that they attend actual couples' things instead of just their joint performances where utajhaiw plays and tsiksos conjures something.

they try it. they enjoy it. their relationship actually improves. they make a vase together in a ceramics class.

by the way, utajhaiw has asthma. tsiksos has been stressing him out so bad hes started smoking. on purpose. yes it is what you think it is and tsiksos thinks its hot because he wants to shotgun the smoke from his mouth

anyway, something happens and tsiksos starts backsliding. they have another argument and he breaks their ceramic vase. all that dust from the glaze and the clay triggers a pretty bad asthma attack, bad enough that the neighbors come over (it had been so long without an incident) and call the paramedics to come get him. utajhaiw actually snaps at tsiksos in the middle of literally coughing himself to death, and this is uh. a little traumatizing. because its never been this bad before.

utajhaiw makes it to the hospital fine, refuses to see tsiksos, and nunjor is on utajhaiw's side - that was fucking uncalled for, dude. tsiksos goes back to their apartment, alone for the first time since they bought it together. naturally he should not be alone at this time

laishtzi phones a friend, kaqur (psychiatrist-adjacent) and his partner jashru (probably a psychologist, if not professional "wtf is wrong with you, stop that"). they agree to take tsiksos in while utajhaiw is back home with his family.

its about a year i think? that tsiksos stays with them, basically on s-watch, and it turns out he has a really severe derealization + depersonalization whammy going on, spurned from still dressing the way ûtainoz liked him to dress and the way other people wanted to see his body. he punched through a mirror. so once he started dressing in looser, more comfortable clothing - surprise! he felt better!!!

(meanwhile, utajhaiw spent a year at home strengthening his lungs again, writing songs and poetry, and reconsidering his entire life. spoiler alert: he actually was in love with tsiksos)

but things are never easy. at some point, tsiksos has a bit of a meltdown and breaks out of his little prison, steals the spare key to his apartment, and ends up burrowing in the bed wearing utajhaiws clothes and sleeping on his side of the bed because he feels so fucking bad about what he did to him. but uhhhhhhh.

apparently nunjor also decided to pay a visit that night. and tsiksos, in some nightmare-sleep-haze, reacts to nunjor trying to wake him as if he were ûtainoz - meaning he tried to apologize through offering his body. rubbing his hands on his thighs, face in his crotch (since nunjor was standing at the side of the bed). when nunjor gently corrected him and woke him (not that he would have been upset at the idea of fucking him again, buth he didnt seem to be in the right headspace) it actually uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sent tsiksos into a worse panic. scrambling out of the bed. tripping on something. breaking a glass.

oh, hello ptsd - it sure is nice crab-scrambling backwards on your hands and bare feet over glass while hyperventilating and sobbing so hard you genuinely cant see. again, laishti and rîshja to the rescue getting him back to kaqur and jashru.

so heres where the fun happens. ûtainoz comes back. hes genuinely changed for the better, he is apologetic. he wants to make it up to the person he hurt the worst. does tsiksos take him up on that? yes. should he have? yes, actually, because he needed the closure.

they start rekindling what little flame they had together. days turn into weeks, months, and theyre getting along just fine. apparently nunjor had left, and tsiksos had no comm - by the time tsiksos noticed, it was uh. almost a little too late.

theres a time where tsiksos and ûtainoz are in a speeder together and ohhhh nunjor is a poet, its in his full name, but he also composes. he sings. and he sings about how badly someone has just lifted him higher than ever before dropping him down into nothing. tsiksos has a breakdown on the lawn of some random recreational park.

things will get better again, though! somewhere along the way, tsiksos and ûtainoz make peace with who they are and who they were. nunjor comes back and he and tsiksos talk it out. they forgive each other. and then tsiksos and utajhaiw reunite. they explain a lot. they forgive each other.

tsiksos/utajhaiw/nunjor throuple endgame is the only thing that matters to me actually.

jack kelly is a fanartist who starts posting his digital works when he's about 13 and by the time he's 17, he's well known in the fandom he creates for. he gets requests, he does commissions, he uses it as a way to save for college- and also because it's fun and he likes drawing his silly little favorite characters doing their silly little tasks. he has a separate blog for non-fandom pieces (anything from OCs to scans of his traditional paintings, even the odd piece of vent art) and that gets a lot of traction, too. jack kelly rises to Ikimaru/Viria/Burdge level fame on tumblr and its all just this 17 year old Mexican kid with a silly little drawing tablet his foster mom got him as an adoption gift.

david jacobs is a fic writer, and a well-known one at that. he started when he was about 12 and unsupervised, writing really bad Percy Jackson fanfic on wattpad, like any young gay should. his fics started gaining traction and as they did so, his skill became better too; by the time he's 17, he's cracking out chapter fics and fleshing out huge complex AUs. a lot of people follow along for his NaNoWriMo content and original works as well, like his poetry or original fiction pieces, but a LOT of his followers come from his fanfics. his AO3 has at least 85 works and he's one of those people who has thousands of hits on his works bc he's just really good (even if he doesn't think he deserves it). you know how sometimes, you read a fic, and it kind of changes your outlook on life for a bit? davey's the fic writer who creates that. he wants to be in the editing/writing business and he's making it known.

anyway!

jack and dave meeting over tumblr bc theyre in the same fandom. becoming mutuals, constantly rbing each other's stuff, tagging each other in posts, the works. they REALLY start interacting by jack drawing scenes from davey's fics and davey writing little drabbles inspired by jack's fanart, and pretty soon they're kind of Known in the fanon circle- people see one of them, and immediately think of the other.

soon, they start talking about more than just fandom stuff and find out that they're the same age, they like the same stuff, theyve been in the same fandoms for A While and just never put two and two together. and though they live pretty far from each other, their friendship is like. Cemented. they exchange other socials and start video chatting, facetiming, discord voice calls, etc. and are so In Like with each other but also long distance is Scary and Not Ideal and they're both embarrassed to say they met their crush on tumblr anyway so they just ignore it

and this goes on for YEARS. they FINALLY meet up when they both go to a con- as fans, but eventually they'll be vendors (jack for his art and davey for his eventual book series)- and they click instantly. i imagine they do some pretty sick Percy Jackson cosplays, bc i love headcanoning that they both grew up with it, and they have so much fun together. they stay up so late talking about anything and everything, they fall asleep next to each other even though there's another bed in the room, and they both wake up red-faced and awkward bc Wow He Looks Pretty With The Sunrise In His Eyes.

(side note: i imagine they share a hotel room, but Medda and Esther share a room as well, and they become close friends throughout the weekend! these boys aren't completely unsupervised.)

they both part ways- Jack going to New York and Davey going back to Chicago- but their friendship is just that much more important. they talk every day, from junior year of high school to sophomore year of college, and when they FINALLY get together for real, it's at another con. they've both moved onto different fandoms but they're still SO close and just ,, jack, 20, having his first ever booth at a con, and asking davey to come for "moral support" but really he just wants to see him. davey helps him run his booth, helps restock and sell and run the "business" side of things. and when it's less busy, jack beta reads some of davey's new work, but the majority of the time they're just. talking. they stay in the same hotel room that night and it's one of those "i really want to hold him but i don't want to be weird" moments and it's so painfully obvious that they like each other but they're both Really scared of distance

and boom! they kiss in the hotel and the rest is history.

i think ,, davey transferring colleges to be closer to jack, and they move in together once he's For Sure going to school in the city. jack isn't going to school, he's an artist full-time, and his commissions and prints/stickers/mugs/merch/etc. rake in enough to pay the bills, plus with davey's added income from his part time job, they live modestly but comfortably.

once davey graduates, he starts sending his book- one he's been working on and editing and worldbuilding since before he even knew jack- out to editors, and then publishers, and eventually its hitting the shelves in every major bookstore in the country because it's such a hit.

and david gets to brag that his husband drew the cover art.

im going to be autistic at you for a little bit now about Amethyst and Steven's relationship

ive tried to write out about 3 different versions of this and i havent gotten one im happy with so were just gonna roll with it okay? okay

one of the big things people talk about in the show is how the gems treat steven. the big two examples being in the episodes following A Single Pale Rose and in especially in Future. but a lot of the things people say are only really applicable to Pearl and Garnet. they dont really know how to deal with steven's issues and they both have a bad habit of falling back into old roles and as the show goes on they both start to more and more default to steven as the leader. but Amethyst, doesnt really do that.

after SPR, in between steven spending whole episodes trying to comfort sapphire and pearl and ruby and bismuth, he has an episode with Amethyst in which she spends the entire episode trying to make him feel better and figure out what he needs. which no one else really stops to do even tho she was his mom.

and now admittedly, i havent watched any of future in a While, but from what i remember Amethyst does try to push harder to get steven to talk and actually Doing things about stuff she notices when compared to Garnet and Pearl

to me, what i think this comes down to is the fact that unlike Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl have never really considered or been considered an equal to Steven. when he was younger and before he developed his power steven was at the bottom of the hierarchy within the crystal gems. and he stays there for a long time. eventually he starts to catch up to amethyst and they a little bit start to see eachother as equals, but not quite. and i think thats what happens in the Steven vs Amethyst arc. theyve both grown comfortable in this not-quite-equals dynamic, or at least Amethyst has, and when she thinks Steven is starting to get better than her, shes scared shes gonna get pushed down to the bottom again. but that doesnt happen, steven pulls her back up and together they decide to be equals on a level playing field. theyre equals and when one of them is suffering the other will pull them up, and when one of them succeeds the other can be proud of them. theyre equals

but theres none of that with pearl and garnet. i guess you could argue that together they have an arc about seeing each other as equals, but not with Steven. at first they see him as this little kid, hes just a little kid hes below them, they need to look after him, teach him. but even once he comes into his own and grows up i dont think they ever really see him as even close to a real equal. they either see him as their kid to look after or even sometimes they start to defer up to him, seeing him as their superior.

you could probably argue that as much as steven has grown uo with the gems, amethyst has grown up with steven too. sure shes a lot older than him and she had already been growing into her own. but to me i think the difference between flashback and even early season 1 amethyst to amethyst by the end of the show, she really grew up With Steven.

anyways yeah. i love amethyst and i love her friendship with steven. i love tiger millionare and tiger philanthropist. i love crack the whip, steven vs amethyst, earthlings, i love on the run, i love no matter what, i love whats your problem, i love smokey quartz and i love that they were the first steven/gem fusion

Axton Headcanons Because I Feel Like It

he tried to be a good husband for sarah he really did, but they probably werent really compatible no matter how hard he tried

hes a rule breaker with creative solutions and a crippling inability to do nothing even when its necessary

now given that he cant just sit by and do nothing pandora is PERFECT for him

always something to do, always people to save, always corporations to fight

and with the space he gets with the crimson raiders that he could never get in the dahl military he can finally process all the shit hes been through and done

he has the space to grow and he knows he should, so he CHOOSES to, he CHOOSES to better himself

and not in the way of following more rules, but maybe he learns to paint, maybe he learns different forms of mathematics, maybe he asks maya or zer0 or gaige what their lives were like on other worlds so he can have more compassion for people he meets

he is almost definitely in love with his turret thats not a question

he talks to her when hes cleaning her or fixing her

he talks about what they did together that day and what theyll do the next

its very domestic and kind of sweet but its also deeply uncomfortable to the other vault hunters because they cant tell how deep that runs

zer0 and lilith have money on him fucking his turret

everyone else put in money against that because its a disturbing thought to most, even on pandora

zer0 walked in on him crying over her once, it wasnt even really about anything, he was just struck with grief

they sat next to him with his head in his hands and gave him an awkwardly positioned side hug

they got much closer to each other after that

eventually he opened up to them enough that when they inevitably asked questions about his scars he answered honestly

he talked about his history of finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, of his habit of getting himself caught in tight spaces, the way he takes bullets for other people when he can, his occasional relapses of self harm

sometimes he visits tina when he doesnt trust himself because he knows he would never do anything that could hurt her and she cares about him enough that his death would cut her deep

he visits more after roland dies than he did before, because he doesnt want her to be alone and feel alone

sometimes hell bring zer0 and gaige and a board game and theyll play for hours

he catches himself staring at zer0 a lot, he finds he hardly ever flirts with them anymore, he thinks about all the gifts hes given them at random, and realizes he might be in love again

he never says anything, he doesnt want to ruin it, and hes not sure hes ready

zer0 notices and doesnt say anything about it, but they grab his hand one day, out of the blue, flash a heart across their visor, and hand him the smoothest rock theyve ever seen on pandora

he doesnt know what it really means but he knows enough about zer0 to know it means SOMETHING

they unofficially court for a good long time before anyone else really even notices somethings changed

the first one to notice is gaige since she and axton are ✨besties✨ and she fakes offense at not being told and then just teases him endlessly about how disgustingly cute it is

he tells her to shut up but he smiles the whole time

sometimes hell come up behind her and put his chin on the top of her head, particularly in a situation where it would embarrass her

he sort of sees her as a very close friend and sort of sees her as a little sister and hes very soft about it

when he realized krieg was always nervous around her he started watching real close

he had never seen such dad like behavior from any pandoran before but he immediately recognized it for what it was

he saw it with tina too, and anyone young they came across

he came to the conclusion on his own that whoever krieg was before was a very good and kind and loving dad, and one day he took that conclusion and went to give his psycho friend a hug

it wasnt well received because he forgot to make himself known and forgot to ask if he could and he earned himself a broken arm but he wasnt mad about it

he definitely learned his lesson though and only ever approached from the side krieg could see on

he never really had to forge a connection with salvador like he did with the others, salvador just liked him immediately

their jokes bounced off each other and their serious moments worked in harmony

they werent really best friends but they were close, and then they started working closer together and talking to each other more and sharing experiences and practically became brothers

he writes intentionally shitty poetry on his downtime

sometimes zer0 joins him on the rooftops of sanctuary and they make bad poems together

he likes to study zer0s hands, hes always been a "hands-on" guy, haha

he likes the way their fingers flex and how thick they are and how long their hands are and the way their wrist bends

it was at first very alarming to them that he wanted to look so closely but he never pressured them into removing their suit just so he could see their hands

he always asked if he could play around with their hands before doing it, too

they like watching the sunset together, and sometimes the sunrise, and its the quiet moments like those that help him remember what hes got and how much he loves what he has

hes finally got friends and family that love him and like him and work with him willingly and spend their time off with him by choice

he learns, here on pandora, in the dingy flying city of sanctuary, what it really means to be loved

hes never been happier
