like i dont think mavuika having no personality is the main natlan aq problem, but i think it contributes a lot bc shes often focus of the story and she's just so bland. like a lot of ppl say, she feels like a mary sue oc, like oh shes so brave and cool and hot, she has tragic backstory but it doesnt affect her at all except that she makes sad face sometimes, shes so well adjusted and always knows whats the right thing to do and everyone loves her. like its just boring bc it gets rid of any tension or conflict, you know everything is going to go fine and its not even interesting to watch. its insane how even in her own story quest she got ZERO characterization and instead xbalanque somehow got all the focus and personality. and in the end we had to listen to him just say out loud how she's so great and brighter sun blah blah while shes standing there the whole time like 😐

like one personality trait i can actually think was mentioned for her is that she likes learning to do new stuff and getting better at it to relax. but like she says shes not good at painting, but then draws perfect picture of her family. like??? give it some energy! what if this means she has like 100 hobbies at the same time and she's shit at all of them and shes juggling 35 projects at the same time. shes doing shitty drawing of her family and baking a shitty cake at the same time and then switches to doing like ice sculptures bc its a challenge bc it keeps melting and she's also trying photography and bonsai bc she met someone from inazuma last week. give her crazy high GOGOGO energy with insane drive that pyro archon should have instead of just calmly and serenely standing there, painting a perfect picture

i think silvermane guards are very very protective of gepard and they don't even try to hide this like if someone says any shit about gepard they would be like, just instantly go into defensive mode and just shut them up. They definitely dont play about him and every one of them so grateful towards the man who constantly stands tall between the endless enemy and them,even the most old/veteran ones, like he is just like a little fucked up son for them

i imagine when he first started riding up the ranks, super young and how as landau it was very much just Expected he would become the captain, that silvermanes were much more. sour with him. but hes Genuine. hes a captain that cares bout the guards and the people and he is right there at the frontlines and facing the fragmentum with them. he makes sure they are okay after it all and actually visits the wounded and checks up on them. its a mixture of bonds being forged when your life is on the line together but also just how unwavering and Present that gepard is as a captain in a way that is more than just. being tactical and resourceful. beyond maybe some old retired bastards who resented gepard rising the ranks quickly ahead of them you know the silvermanes LOVE his ass.

i imagine the decorum and concept of ranks that are rigid in the city are somewhat thrown out the window in the restricted zone or outside the city. like gepard ignores when some of the guards smuggle booze to the outposts as long as he gets a shot or two and they play boardgames and card games on rare nights that they arent dog tired (they let gepard win poker still). New guards get the memo quickly on the vibes when the older dudes are like 'yep thats gepard our captain we would all die for him (dont let him hear you say that he doesnt like when we talk like that)' and gepard is all PLEASE dont do that. theres weird superstitions around gepard like if he wakes up and gets out of his tent even a minute past 6am it's going to be a horrible day. gepard is always putting on a strong front and conscious of his guards wellbeing even when he's coked up on sleep deprivation but the guards know when hes not gotten enough sleep and try to coax him into resting. often when theres nothing too pressing theyll ask gepard to spar and try to knock him out literally because thatll work right? but nope even when Gepard has bags under his eyes and looks like shit he clobbers everyone.

its just. silvermanes have often been seen as dispensable and i mean sure they often die young and those that live to get old have their own scars but its worth it to protect the city right? but gepard Does care about the silvermanes too. a lot. he knows them all by name even when they are all wearing the same helmets and are indistinguishable and he often takes part in training new guards even though its technically not his job. the guards all feel the same way for him too yknow

then he develops into a person who was willing to learn to deal with his trauma when around season 4 when (in hc) he’d be like 27 at the earliest (?) because we have to remember that we skip all of loris pregnancy and then the first year (?) of judiths life. making him on the closer side to 30 around the time the prison, when his character starts developing.

(and i never said 25 was the solid age, just that hes “like 25”, meaning im happy to account s1 daryl as 26,27,28, whatever, just that hes under 30 in s1 in my mind)

5 i agree that him being older plays a part in his story but i dont think being 25 suddenly makes him a little baby that makes his development void. his frontal lobe developed. that is a valid subtextual reason for him to mature. but that isnt the only thing that made him reflect and want to cope with his trauma. merles frontal lobe developed and he never tried to do what daryl did - therefor the age thing doesn’t exactly diminish his story or else merle wouldve changed before the outbreak, but he didnt, because some people dont. some people reach frontal lobe age and stay the same. its not “he just grew up” because then merle would have too, but he did grow up, and realised following merle was stupid. but he wouldnt have reached that outcome if there werent other factors so it can easily be both

6 i never said 40 looks old or that theres a problem w it, but how is he older than rick? than most of the other people there? being older than rick feels like it makes no sense (although rick didnt grow up like daryl did and they had carl young so blab yeah theres reasons) and merle being 35+ does make some sense though id somewhat agree 35 is young for merle. m not saying that ppl start decomposing when they hit 30 but god forbid i hc someone as not 40

+ trauma physically ages people so even if daryl did look the same age or older than rick, then it would still be plausible that hes younger. we see trauma age characters in this show. its not hard to assume it happened to him outside of the outbreak too

although i get why they did it (except i dont) i kind of wish that the final confrontation with solas doesnt offer him the opportunity to have mythal come in and like idk address what happened. like i get it but also idk... if theyre framing it as an abusive relationship with a power imbalance (as opposed to like. a toxic relationship between two equals) the reality is that often you don't have your abuser like... ever taking a smidgeon of responsibility or absolving you of any responsibility for a situation. you dont get that apology, you dont get that regret, and a lot of the work that goes into healing from that kind of relationship, whether its a parent or partner or whoever, is coming to terms with the fact that youre likely probably never going to get even an acknowledgement that something fucked up happened. and you didnt deserve it and it wasnt your fault. you still have to find a way forward without that. idk it feels.. not to say unnecessary, though i do feel it is unnecessary to have mythal show up and like 'absolve' solas/acknowledge it wasnt all his fault, but for the kind of relationship theyre trying to portray - having solas basically cowering and flinching away from her, sobbing, holding out a knife for her to ostensibly kill him with - it just doesnt really fit to me nor does it feel... idk? satisfying? realistic? idk what the word is. but to have solas' heel face turn happen after a conversation with mythal where she basically goes 'dw it was also kinda my fault lol' when the story paints her as his abuser just feels like it falls short in some way

About to go on a random tangent but i feel like the s5 house finale with houses very real, very serious mental breakdown really changes the way foreman sees him....when john house died foreman took houses disinterest 100% at face value,even went to chase and cameron to complain about how disconnected from humanity house is. Chase was the one who had to tell him that House is probably a mess under all the fake bravado and foreman didn't seem to believe him.

When house first starts losing it fr, (s5 ep23) he locks himself in his apartment for an unspecified number of days. Cuddy sends foreman to find him. House opens the door looking haunted and disheveled, he tells foreman that he is taking a day off, that he can't come to work. Foreman dismisses all of it, he tells him to sober up, to send the hookers home and come to work or cuddy will fire him. When does house not look haunted and disheveled? He is house. He can't be any worse off than usual. Foreman doesnt take him seriously.

House goes to work and foreman is the first one to get suspicious of his behaviour. He can tell that something is Seriously wrong this time. He pries the same way house would have because why wouldn't he? Noone in this office can let anything go. A lot of things happen.

House drops out of a case. Wilson says he is unavailable, full stop, no negotiations. And after the aftermath of it all, when house goes to Mayfield the team must have heard at one point or another about what happened. The details of what was going on. Did foreman connect the dots? The red bloody dots that connect Ambers accident, Kutner's suicide, John House's death to houses deteriorating mental state? House told Wilson that he was seeing Amber. He told cuddy that he hadn't slept through the night since Kutner shot himself in the temple with his own gun. Did foreman go looking for answers? Did they tell him more than they should have? Did he realise that the reason why his boss was looking haunted that morning he ambushed him in his apartment was because he was literally seeing ghosts?

And then of course s6 starts and foremans attitude towards house hasnt really shifted...they spend most of the season "fighting" for dominance over the diagnostics department. But then the s6 finale (help me) happens and house is clearly affected by the death of the woman whose leg he amputated under the rubble. Foreman attempts to comfort him. He doesn't dismiss everything as just house being house. He can tell that this could be it, this could very easily be the night house relapses. He tells him that he shouldn't be alone right now. House ignores him and leaves. First episode of s7, foreman is asking after house. The rest of the team dismisses his worries and he replies with a simple "you didn't see him yesterday".

In s8 when wilson is revealed to be dying foreman again attempts to stand by house. House accuses him of trying to take Wilsons place after he dies. "Dont worry about me, im probably not gonna fall apart." I just can't imagine a foreman from seasons 1-5 understanding house in such a way or making an effort to comfort him. I really feel like Mayfield was a pivotal point in their bizarre employee/boss- boss/employ-friends-antagonists-i don't want to turn into you relationship.

I dont have a lot of sensory issues but i have eaten many many sandwiches. Im usually very turkey & mayo, but i have had some very interesting combinations.

The nicest thing about a sandwich is that you can put anything you like on it, really.

Chicken nuggets? They're just a chicken patty split up. Add a lil mayo or ketchup and that counts as a sandwich.

Hotdog? cut into circles on bread. Put ketchup. Done.

I like carrots, so ive had carrots cut up on sandwiches. Or shredded.

Ive had potato salad on sandwiches too, but if they dont like inconsostent texture then maybe go for something thats really blended or in the food processor. Its just another option for like... a spread to go with something.

Also applesauce as a spread/sauce. Thats very wet tho so use sparingly.

Hummus is pretty consistent in texture and has protein which can help balance out a diet. Could also try with cucumber or diced red peppers.

Worth noting that theres chocolate hummus which sounds gross at first but it kind of just tastes like brownie batter. But pricey for an all the time food but maybe a treat.

Peanutbutter & apple - idk if peanutbutter works for them, and bananas seem like they may have too much mush going on, but apples cut in slices as if they were a lunchmeat/cheese has worked for me.

Creamcheese also. I've also done creamcheese & cucumber, creamcheese & salami.

Also strawberry creamcheese and strawberries was a pretty good one.

Egg...has a strong smell and not everyone likes the flavor or texture, but if you can get a consistent scrambled egg texture then egg sandwiches maybe. My dad used to mix em, add a little bit of water, and microwave them for 1 minute on like 80% power. A lot of people mock me for the microwegg, but it works and it comes out pretty much the same every time if you have one standard method.

If cucumber for crunch & moisture: beansprout or water chestnut could work. Imo the tastes arent too overpowering and they add the same kind of texture, for me. However! Beansprouts are stringier and water chestnuts are... a little wet.

In the other direction: spinach (not cooked) could be too close to lettuce, but i always found that it had a more consistently dry texture. I feel like it goes bad friggin within Days but also you could try putting that in a bananabread or banana muffin (you like. Food processor it in and it makes it a little spongy but it doesnt taste like spinach. Also its super green)

Have heard good things about spam, though its very salty and too close to ham for me. If ham texture gets to them tho and not ham taste, there's that.

Could try also sausage patties but like watch for whether the brand adds anything spicy.

I mean to be fair- i once put leftover lomein on a sandwich and ate that but like... There is no law saying you cant. And if you have something you know you will eat then putting it on bread to eat it makes it a sandwich regardless of anyone else's opinion.

Anyway good luck op! If there are other safe foods that they havent tried on a sandwich, see if you can find a way to use those things in a sandwich- theres a lot of substitutions you can make.

[ID: A colourless, digital Trigun comic of Vash and Wolfwood talking about Wolfwood's scars. They're both laying in bed and topless. Vash lays on top of Wolfwood, playing with the rosary around his neck. Then, Vash kisses a spot on Wolfwood's chest. Wolfwood asks, "What are you doing?" Vash smiles sadly, "You got shot here. In the last town we visited. You didn't even bother moving."

Vash props himself up over Wolfwood, who frowns slightly. Wolfwood is quiet for a moment before he says, "You remember that, huh?" Vash grabs Wolfwood's left wrist and brings it to his face. "And here." He kisses another spot there. "When you helped free the hostages from that robber..." Wolfwood dismissively says, looking away, "Was a lucky shot." Vash huffs, “Don’t brag. Jeez.”

Half of Wolfwood's expression is shown, eyes returning to Vash who is now sitting up, continuing to say, "And..." Vash goes on and kiss Wolfwood's right palm. "You got cut here, even though that girl was aiming at me." A moment from the past flashes, of Wolfwood grabbing a knife aimed at Vash, his hand bleeding.

At present, Vash moves down and puts another kiss on Wolfwood's right shoulder. "And here, from watching my back." Another memory flashes of Wolfwood and Vash back to back. Vash looks back as Wolfwood grins while holding Punisher, bleeding from multiple gunshots in his shoulder.

"And," Vash combs up Wolfwood's hair to reveal his forehead, "Here." A final memory shows Wolfwood with a regeneration vial in his mouth while getting shot on his temple.
