• Baby Driver (anyone who hates this movie doesn't know how to have fun. action-comedy, incredible soundtrack that is SYNCED TO THE HAPPENINGS IN THE FILM, main character is an autistic CODA who i love very much, i have a deep personal connection with this movie because of the person i watched it with and the impact it had on us.)

The difference between "fanatics and gamers"

So basically I'm just gonna word vomit about this topic in regards to destiny because it's been on my mind a lot recently since I've came back to destiny and I've been watching a few vids on the whole discourse surrounding destiny and it's state as a game and feel like I've kinda come to a resolution in my mind about why a lot of this is happening and why some people feel differently about the game. PSA this post isn't supposed to be some big angry discussion trying to say people's concerns about the game is wrong or invalid I kinda jus wanna spew my thoughts out there but do feel free to comment your thoughts about it if you wanna discuss it!

So I start by differentiating between "fanatics" and "gamers" which probably seems like a cringey way to put it but it's the only kind of physical representation of both sides that I could think of. So fanatics are people I'd describe as being absorbed in every aspect of the game, lore, art comics, gameplay, characters etc the type of people who are out here writing fanfics and creating ocs where as gamers are people that are here solely for the game itself. They are playing a game for its mechanics and enjoyment and their involvement in the greater community doesn't span much further than that. They might be interested in the lore (obviously you'd have to enjoy the story to play the game in the first place) but they're not out here making their own content in regards to the game i.e reading/creating fanfics and ocs etc. Now after establishing what each side means from what I can tell the people most upset by the state of the game are the gamers while the ones defending the Devs and just having a good time within the game and it's universe are the fanatics.

So why are people mad?

Well both sides seem mad in the current situation of destiny. The gamers are upset that the contents running dry and the fanatics are getting upset about the gamers constant anger and bashing directed towards the game and the Devs. Like don't get me wrong I understand where people come from when they're annoyed about bugs, it makes the game harder to play and then there's the issue of content running dry and then the vaulting of older content (something that I find extremely upsetting). But I think the constant negative approach towards these issues isn't always healthy to the game, play wise and the actual players mental health wise. I recently watched Mr Fruits video on this talking about the video Datto made and I think the main message there is something that so many gamers need to keep in mind and it's that if your not having fun playing a game and you can't find anymore satisfaction from it play something else. If your playing a game for the content it's Devs are providing you and that content isn't as fulfilling and entertaining for you anymore then just play something else for a while. I think a lot of people have these really unrealistic expectations as to what the Devs can produce within the game and I think if you believe the Devs are seeing the discourse going on in the community and people voicing their issues with the game and are just deciding to sit back idly and do nothing about it then you're a fukin idiot. The people at Bungie are just that, people. People with limitations. There's probably an infinite amount of reasons as to why the issues that're there are there and these things will take a long ass time to fix. If they were easy to fix everyone and their nan would be making bestselling games. In terms of content running dry for people of course this is gonna happen. There's a limit on people's creativity and the amount of content a single group of people are able to produce. And with the amount of content already in the game it's gonna be extremely hard to make new content that's cohesive and makes sense in the greater universe of the game. So yeah it might've only taken you a couple tens of hours to complete the campaign content with your clan full of experienced players but that's not what it's there for in my opinion. The game isn't there to just be played it's there to be enjoyed fully and completely. This is content that the creators have poured months of their lives into thinking up and designing. If destiny was pumping out content at the rate some people seem to think it should come out the game would be a shit show. It would be riddled with plot holes, stuff that just doesn't make sense and would eventually fuck up the game even more gameplay wise. I'm sorry but I don't want this game to turn into some sci-fi Fortnite. I want the Devs to take their time making compelling content that's actually engaging.

Superiority of the fanatics

Please hear the sarcasm in that subtitle but the point of what I'm saying is the fanatics are the ones winning here and I think this is the fangroup that the games actually directed towards. Destiny is a storytellers game, that much is obvious from the games expansive lore and world building. Your given a platform to create your own character and create their story following the campaigns that the company themselves are providing which is something very reminiscent of ttrpgs like dnd or lancer. Obviously it's not got the same customisation as those games but the idea is there. The reason why a lot of fanatics aren't getting super upset about the "lack of content" in the game and it's bugs is because they understand that the content is fucking there but sometimes you gotta warp the content yourself a little to keep up that sense of enjoyment. People do this by writing fanfics, creating art, creating ocs etc. When Bungie aren't directly giving us content to play we are making our own content and sharing it with others because this is what destiny is for us it's not just a game it's a world we're experiencing and being a part of. And that's my point, destiny isn't a game for gameplay mechanics sake and if your playing it for that reason and getting upset then it should be obvious your playing the wrong game and maybe it's time to take a break and try something new. If your wanting a game that spoon feeds you content to keep you hooked then I don't think Destiny is the game for you it's never been that sort of game in my opinion. When I came back to destiny I was hyped to dive head first into lore books, video essays, blogs because I knew I had a lot to learn and create myself and that's what I expect from destiny and tbh it's what I'd think any newcomer to the game should expect. And in terms of bugs in the game obviously they're annoying but I feel like from having a greater respect for the Devs and the content they're making your in a mindset that makes it easier to digest that these things take time. For a company to be making all this content, world building, server mechanics, game mechanics and so much more it's gonna be rough to get to every single bug in the game. And tbh I've been playing the game again for almost a month now and I haven't actually experienced that many bugs in the game, no more than what I've seen in other games I've been playing but I want everyone to take that with a heavy pinch of salt because obviously everyone's experience within the game is different.

The issues of paywalls and vaulting content.

Now this. THIIIISS. I get it, I really do having to pay for seasonal content and constant dlcs is probably the most frustrating thing about modern gaming. But that's the thing it's not just a destiny issue this is a modern gaming worldwide issue. Fucking hell even Pokémon is drifting into the dlc hell hole and paywalls with many of their services. Like it's just apart of gaming now and it can be frustrating but it's something you kinda gotta accept and it's not something you're gonna really be able to avoid no matter what game you play that isn't an indie game. As for the vaulting of older content and the removal of game aspects as seasons progress this is probably the single most frustrating thing about the game right now for me especially as a returning player but I also see why destiny is doing it. The game is reaching a size which is becoming unmanageable and the removal of some content is a necessary evil to keep the game going in my opinion. And to Bungies credit they have announced they will be no longer vaulting dlc content going forwards since last year I believe. And look yeah you can't play the content anymore but it's still out there to enjoy in the form of lore and video essays and play through videos. It's not the same but it's something and I've been enjoying sifting through the content available to me. Again I feel this is where the difference in destiny fan comes in. Gamers aren't satisfied with just consuming content about the game which is a totally fair stance to have on the game but there's also a number of games out there that aren't doing this sort of stuff cus they dont have to and maybe those are the type of games that you should play.

The state of the game for new and returning players.

Now this is probably my biggest fukin gripe with the gamers side of the community because in my opinion the biggest thing that's damaging the experience for new and returning players isn't the games bugs, it isn't the games slow approach to releasing new content or the vaulting of content, it's the constant negativity being emitted by that side of the community in regards to the game and the Devs as well as their attitude towards people wanting to learn more about the game. When I decided I wanted to make a return to destiny I did what I'd say a lot of other people have done and taken to sites like Reddit to ask questions about the game so I'd have some idea of what to expect coming back in and the responses of got of people who are meant the be "fans" of the game were sickening. Id have to sift through maybe 15 responses telling me to delete the game, I'm an idiot for wanting to play it, the games at its worst state than ever, there's no point even trying, before I found even one post actually giving me the information I was asking for and giving me tips on how to get back into the game. The only thing that actually made me contemplate not getting back into destiny was the constant negativity being emitted by that side of the community during that time. Not the negative aspects of the game that're definitely there, it was just the sheer miserable energy I was receiving from these people. And that's the thing while yes the game really isn't at its best state for new or returning players there are still ways to make it work and I found those ways buried underneath all the bullshit negativity the others were spouting. This is what's hurting the games ratings in my opinion. The games not at its worst state it's ever been for new and returning players entirely because of what the Devs are doing, a huge chunk of that issue is the negativity coming from this side of the player base.

In conclusion.

If your not enjoying destiny at this moment in time then stop playing for a bit. Maybe consider that this game isn't for you. Voice your opinions and concerns in a respectful manner. And for new people wanting to get into destiny jump right in! If you wanna get the most out of the game then it's gonna take some effort ima he honest. It's gonna take more than just hopping on the game and playing. And if that's not your vibe then that's totally fair not every game is gonna be for every player. And take my advice if you do wanna learn more about the game and how to get into it please stay away from Reddit. Stick to Tumblr people are actually nice here and wanna educate you in a positive and reaffirming way that is healthy for the state of the game and it's community. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

I'm more on PC when I play other games. If I don't cry myself playing Sims, I play Warframe instead! So like, if I'm tired of taking pictures and stuff in Sims, I take pictures in Warframe instead...like this:

I also play Mass Effect (both the Trilogy and Andromeda). Recently, I've received Fallout 76 from a friend, and I've been having fun playing it! Other than those, I also play Left 4 Dead 2 with friends when time permits. Base on the games I mentioned, I probably lean towards hack-and-slash and shooter games, story-rich, and character customization. I have other games that I don't play that much anymore (because of time...sigh), like the Gods Eater series. I've finished all Dragon Age games, and I don't want to touch my current world state anymore, unless the next DA game gets released. If I don't want to get stressed on shooting stuff, I get stressed on planning my agenda in Stardew Valley!

Top 10 TTRPGs I want to play but haven't yet.

It's time to talk about TTRPGs, in particular, one's I think look cool but haven't got a chance to play yet. I am only going to include games that are out right now because they exist and I could potentially play them like, tonight otherwise. Games being on this list aren't really a sign of quality or not, I'll explain what is drawing me to them but I have no fucking clue if their good or not, haven't played them in in several cases haven't read them.

Tension

This game is more intense then my standard taste but it also seems incredible. I think the cat and mouse action, the queer longing for someone dangerous and the intense fallout of things no matter what way things go just sounds, ahhh so much fun. Plus I really love TTRPGs I can do 2 player, it's a lot easier to arrange a 1 on 1 session with someone then getting 4 people to all agree to be in a room together for multiple hours.

Lesbian Werewolves On A Beach

I mean, you put Lesbian in your title and I want to play it. I love beaches, werewolves and lesbians, it's that simple. I don't have a whole lot more to say, it sounds like my kinda thing, that's it, I wanna play it.

This World Summons Too Many Heroes

Really I just wanna see how other people are doing Isekai TTRPGs. TBH, I have no idea if this one is good, no idea, I skimmed the book but I am really here for the gimmick. I want to read it, study it and then hopefully play it. I really like Isekai type stories and have done Isekai type settings before and will probably do them after for TTRPGs so it's good to see the work others are doing.

Fate

This is one I've tried to play several times but never got through a session 0. Fate has such a roleplay focused form of play that always captivated me since I first heard of it. The way you get strengths and weaknesses and the way your traits work, it's just, a really exciting system that is so flexible and so well positioned. This system is a staple in the TTRPG space now and unlike a lot of other staples it's one I actually want to play.

Power Couple

Looks like a cute way to tell fantasy romance stories, I wanna try it. My favorite trope in the world is the power of love conquering all. This us against the world game is just exciting, totally focused on an existing relationship an the way they handle the obstacles ahead of them. I am thrilled at the idea of playing this.

Only One Bed

This collection of mini games are just really cute and I think it be fun to take a set of characters through an AU for each game. Each games concept is fairly simple but pretty cute. I think this could be a really fun game for a nice shipping session where I take a pair of OCs that date in some roleplay and get to explore their love from a bunch of lenses.

De:throne

I am all about killing gods, that's basically what I do in any TTRPG. However, a focus on this mechanically just seems like perfect for my taste. I really want to see how this game handles it and if this can be a staple in my play! I really look forward to telling a story focused on god slaying.

SUEper Powered

This game feels like it just gets me. I want to play a game where we are all really overpowered and it's just like a really cute and fun and emotional and sweet power fantasy. This whole hearted powerful embrace of playing a group of Mary Sue's is just really sweet, so often people try to make a game balanced but there is something great about characters who just kinda fucking rock. From Sailor Moon to grand magicans to Goku, sometimes you just kinda wanna be someone who is the best and I think a group of people who rock is suck a fun fantasy for me.

The Exceptionals

I am so curious about this games mechanics, after reading it I was really excited about giving it a try but i haven't found the right group or time yet. While I fell out of love with super heroes I can't deny a part of my hear still wants to tell stories about heroes. Masks: A New Generation just isn't for me anymore but this though I think is a tool to tell super hero stories I give a shit about.

The game itself is super well written and is one of those games where I read it and saw the mechanics and since then have been itching to go into character building.

Cozy Town

While these games aren't in any particular any game designed by Rae Nedjadi is gonna be on the top of my list. Basically any Rae game I haven't played is also in this spot, Cozy Town is just sitting on top because I bought it and it is very cute. While normally I play games based around killing gods and complicated political situations and stuff like that, it be nice to have a game to play that is just like, "Hey, let's live a little utopian life for a minute". I think this really scratches an itch I didn't even know I had until I read it.

One thing is certain: just like Surge, Kit, Belle, Starline, and even Tangle and Whisper, we can reliably trust the overall comic fandom to drop Lanolin like a stone into the Mariana Trench when a new waifu, bad boy, or sad boy comes around for them to go nuts over. It's actually quite relieving to realise that the amount of people defending her now will dwindle to a mere fraction in like two months' time or so when the whole Duo plot is FINALLY wrapped up.

It's funny because I did see at least one tweet of someone who said "I don't wanna play with you anymore" after Lanolin hurt Whisper 😂

Yeah, the comic often simply drops characters like hot potatoes and the fandom forgets about them very quickly 8once they stop being relevant. You'd think that characters that used to be as prominent as Starline and Belle would have a shelf life longer than one year. (I've already pointed out how Surge was massively beloved from the get-go, and maybe she still is, but only for the aesthetic)

... the treatment of Whisper boggles me, though. She's one of the main OCs. She's one of the oldest OCs, being introduced in #8. She and Tangle had a whole separate arc about them. She had character development. And now people are more willing to protect a nobody character who is a few months old and whose personality boils down to "joyless conceited asshole" because she's the new shiny toy? Completely ignoring Whisper's side and how she was treated? And same for Tangle, people were up in arms to defend the uwu adhd coded little girl!

@skaruresonic pointed out that it looks like fans enjoy Whisper's pain more than Whisper herself. It's not about her as a character, it's about her as an angst central. It's just... I don't know. I don't understand. Everytime I try to predict the behavior of the IDW fandom, I am made a fool of myself.

Hi! I was reading about your OCs and I'm curious what "PMD explorers of sky" is and how it inspired you (please don't hesitate to go into detail, I'm genuinely curious!) I think the story you came up with for your OCs is very interesting and fits well into the Sonic universe! And your designs are so nice too!! Very clean and neat but far away from boring!! I hope you're having a great day!

AH! First of all thank you so much for the compliments they mean so much!!

Hehe there will be spoilers ahead for PMD:EoS in this ramble so I'll give a short non-spoilery overview here in case there are people that still want to play that game blind. You, a human, get turned into a pokemon and suffer memory loss. With your partner (who finds you washed up at the beach) you join and adventuring guild and start to go on all kinds of adventures some of which have to do with the Time Gears getting stolen which is causing time to stop in those areas and causing other pokemon to become more aggressive.

Now onto the specific details that inspired the story and here there will be spoilers. In PMD:EoS you meet Grovyle, he's from the future and at first you think he's the bad guy since he's stealing all of the Time Gears and all that. Then there's a reveal that he wasn't doing it maliciously! Turns out he's from a ruined future (reminding me of a certain hedgehog) and he needs to gather the Time Gears to stop the Tower of Time from collapsing since Dialga, the ruler of time, is going a little primal himself.

The big inspiration here is from Grovyle and Dialga. Thinking about what if Silver filled in not juts Grovyle's role in the story but also Dialga's.

In my headcannon he's been traveling through time so much his being has kind of detached itself from the whole time stream, this means he's able to time travel relatively pain free BUT it means he's stuck in this cycle of having to watch his future continuously change. Silver can never really have anything in his future.

So when three random mobians happen to pull him back to the past that's something new! It's different and at first he's not quite sure what to do with that information but he's excited to be back in the past where his friends might be. As the story progresses though it becomes clear that the cycle is just repeating itself. In PMD:EoS Primal Dialga, in the ruined future, is dead set on keeping it that way. In a similar vein, Silver realizes that if he just wields the power of the Time Shards a certain way he too can stop time and essentially live in the frozen past. He wouldn't have to move anymore, wouldn't have to keep reliving his future getting destroyed.

I just really want a story that breaks Silver down to his lowest point, where the most optimistic character of the cast has a single moment of doubt that spirals uncontrollably. Luckily his friends will be there to help him but... there's also a bad end to this where everyone gets frozen in time and he ends up truly and utterly alone forever.

Anyways!! Hope this wasn't too long of a ramble I have a lot of thoughts about Silver as a character. My OCs basically function as a way to explore some other aspects of the world since you have one who has no powers, another with new uncontrollable powers and another who was born with powers but none of them really get up to wild adventures. I'm also just being a little self indulgent with using my OCs hehe.

Heyyyy sweet thangggg, you know I gotta drop in for the ask game!! My OCs name is Vienna, you already knowwww. She’s got severe daddy and mommy issues, but she’s tough as nails with a hidden heart of gold. She’s dark haired and bright eyed and is an officer with a military/WW2 father so like she kinda has this whole facade of “it’s not bad until I literally drop dead”. She’s made up of pure determination and spite because she’s spent her whole life being told she would never be enough so she’s just…wild and rageful but also just wishes she could be the softy she really is, regardless of how deep it is buried under a tough woman exterior. She’s seemingly confident and headstrong which helps cover the fact that she has some deep rooted issues. Her nickname is Venom, which comes from her blunt and sometimes harsh reactions to the enlisted men getting on her nerves, in which she is known to get pretty grumpy but also incredibly witty in her responses. She’s a replacement Lieutenant in easy company after she was taken from her position as an army officer. 

For those of you unaware, I opened up this inbox game in September to celebrate one year of writing my longfic. We’ve talked about Vienna and Daisy before so yanno, don’t want to be a cheater, but you know who we haven’t talked about? Vienna and Patricia “Bleeding Heart, Sweet As Pie” Kegley, and I, personally, think they would make a really fun balancing act. Someone harsh and wild and determined coming into contact with someone who’s really good at disarming people (even if Patty… doesn’t wholly realize she has that effect on people). For those of you who don't know, you can find the masterlists for Vienna's story here, now, without further ado, Just hear me out for a second:

Good old fashioned war wounds — we get a lot of those in SBT, it’s inevitable that people are going to get hurt and when you have a bunch of medics running around doing the damn thing: you tend to get closer to the people who are patching you up.

Enter Patty, who’s so soft and quiet and fumbling with a sense of who she is. And then enter Vienna, who thinks it’s not bad until she’s dead.

And Patty’s never been the type to raise her voice, but there’s something about that mentality that she just can’t sit and twiddle her thumbs about. 

Relative rank is good for something after all — and part of it has to be that she can raise her voice and demand Vienna sits down with minimal consequence. And it really is a sight to see, considering it’s usually Rita who does the yelling. Flush-cheeked and huffy, she’s going to tend to Vienna’s wound that first time and huff about how dead officers can’t prove anything to anyone.

And then she’ll apologize after the fact, for the yelling, and for the muttered thinkpiece as well — but truthfully I can’t imagine Vienna minding her directness.

And I think this is the beginning of a new part of the routine for Patty, that being: check in on Easy’s Lady Lieutenant, because Christ knows if she’ll ever come willingly.

There’s a certain irony here, considering she tends to spook fairly easily when it comes to the snappy, blunt types, but also she figures since she raised her voice a bit and lived to tell the tale, she’s already overcome the hard part of approaching Lieutenant Matthews.

In comes: the disarming, the easy smiles, Patty’s ability to shed a little optimism onto the bleak situations they find themselves in time and time again. You can be softer around her, Vienna, it’s fine. This is, in the most serious way possible, a safe space, and rest assured Patty won’t be the one to spill the beans about the sound of your laugh, or the fact that you have an ability to laugh.

But yeah, I still only have profiles for Arsenios and Ciaran. Everybody else has like... a single sentence of description. Just because I haven't gotten to them yet... I said I was gonna work on their profiles, but I still haven't oops. I'm working hard on Arrie's story right now, so as soon as it's done I'll get back into those profiles.

Anyway, in the meantime, I'm happy to talk about them, so yes of course I can tell you more! Thank you for asking!

Due to Arrie's story having a reaper OC that plays a huge role in it, I needed to work out some details about how the reapers operate. There really isn't a whole lot about this in canon, so I kinda just made up whatever seemed interesting to me.

And thus, Azrael became a character in the story. He's technically an angel, but he's like... the head of the reapers. Since Azrael is the angel of death, I thought it'd be interesting to have him be the source of all things reapers. Like maybe in the beginning, he was the one filling the role of reaper, going around and collecting souls all by himself. But then as humans multiplied (and demons came onto the scene and the possibility of angels dying also arose), it was too much for him to handle on his own. So he was given the power of creation. Limited, though, he can only create new reapers. Now we know that Thirteen has a sister, so in my au here, reapers can have kids. And most of the time, that's how they reproduce in order to keep up with increasing human populations in particular. So Azrael doesn't really need to create a whole lot of reapers anymore, but every once in a while he will if he thinks it's needed.

Azrael spends a lot more of his time keeping track of the reapers, assigning them to various locations in the three worlds, and kind of analyzing their soul collection data. He hates how boring all that is, though, so most of it falls to his assistant Stella who loves paperwork and she's really good at it.

Since Azrael is an angel, he sorta lives in the Celestial Realm. The issue was that the reapers need to be able to visit him, so the CR was like we don't want reapers just coming in and out of our gates all the time. So Azrael actually lives in his own dimension. It's a cave (you know 'cause the reaper caves right) and there's an entrance to it from the CR, but reapers also have their own special ways of getting to it.

When Azrael was given the power of creation, his general strength was considered to be too much for him to be "free." He's already got death, now he's got life, too? It was necessary, but it's considered dangerous. So he essentially has to be "contained" and that means he can't leave the cave he lives in. So Stella also kinda acts as his representative when needed.

I feel bad for him because he's super bored in that cave and I don't think he'd cause too much trouble if let loose. But I can't imagine the CR allowing an angel to have that much power without keeping them in check. He's actually pretty benevolent most of the time, even if he's also kinda... well, a little silly. Due to being the angel of death, he looks a lot darker and more ominous than most angels do. And there may be some argument for saying that he's not really an angel at all anymore, at least not fully. But his personality only reflects that if he needs to get all scary... which most of the time, he doesn't lol.

He gets visitors pretty regularly - obviously, the reapers often come to see him. Stella is there daily. Gabriel is close friends with him so they visit him a lot. And then when Abraxas shows up, he's got a demon friend, too. He's actually friends with Barbatos, too, but Barb isn't around as often.

As for Abraxas, I was thinking about all of this stuff and it occurred to me that if there were demons sent to the human world as part of the exchange program, then shouldn't there have been a demon sent to the reapers when Thirteen joined the program too? And that demon is Abraxas.

It turned out I had an actual use for him going there as part of Arrie's story and for that to make sense, I had to make him part of the band. But I kinda think that worked out.

Uh, so Arsenios is in a band in the Devildom and Abraxas used to be the bassist until he was chosen for the exchange program. (He finds a replacement for himself, which is a demon named Lael.)

I didn't think it likely that the reapers have a real legit reaper school, though. Thirteen makes it sound like she learned from following her sister around. And I also kinda think it sounds like something reapers just sorta know naturally.

So there isn't an actual school for Abraxas to attend, which means he's more of an intern that follows Stella around.

Abraxas himself is super cool. The name Abraxas isn't even exclusive to demons, it was just that it was used enough that Christians were like yeah sounds like a demon. Some sources say it's related to Abracadabra but there's no proof of that. There are also these interesting stones that often have the word on them that are referred to as the Abraxas stones. So due to this sort of muddled origin, I like to think of Abraxas as an especially mysterious demon whose entire power is based on confusion, especially when it comes to words and languages. Like he can easily make it so people can't understand each other even when they're speaking the same language, that kinda thing.

Despite that, he's a pretty friendly demon and he likes people and to experience new things. It turns out that he and Azrael get along amazingly well, which only causes Stella massive headaches. They've both got a streak of trickster in them.

Wow okay I rambled a lot, sorry about that lol. But this is the first time anyone has asked about either of these OCs and because I haven't created their profiles, I don't have any of this information anywhere.

1 (What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?): shdlkjfg she cannot sit still for very long at ALL she can do it for maybe a minute before she's got to fiddle with something or get up and move around... the only exception is if she's thinking over a thorny problem, then she'll tend to get quite still and really hole up in her mind palace. otherwise she'll still absentmindedly doodle, make something, brew a cup of tea, clean a counter, 2 (How easy is it for your character to laugh?): EASY! she's a very bright and laughing person and she loves to laugh and have fun 3 (How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)): her favorite way to put herself to bed at night is thinking idly over a puzzle or an invention! usually she'll have one that she's come up specifically to play with in her mind before she goes to sleep. that's how she came up with teacups that form magic circles 4 (How easy is it to earn their trust?): quite easy - noonday's confident in herself and has also (pregame at least) not known much in the way of real blindsiding betrayal (any 'betrayal' has always been something she's sort of seen coming), so she welcomes people into her life without much concern, and also welcomes herself into their lives as well shdlksjklf 5 (How easy is it to earn their mistrust?): slightly more difficult-to-answer-question because if she trusted you first and then you did something to earn her mistrust it won't be a very strong mistrust: she'll always be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt up to the end, even if she has more reservations about it than before. on the other hand, it's possible to earn her inflexible dislike more or less at once upon meeting her, and if she doesn't like you she will refuse to trust you on principle 6 (Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?): as a career criminal from a huge family empire of career criminals she mostly considers laws to be things that happen to other people, but that aren't generally too annoying to operate within during her day-to-day 7 (What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?): ooh that's a tough one...the pelisian isles where she grew up are quite cold compared to the climate of torredaga so i think that whenever they get an especially cold winter she'll get very nostalgic...there would be a lot of actions around that time (wrapping up in warmer clothes that she probably inherited from her parents, drinking the warm drinks her grandparents gave her as a child, maybe even playing in the snow if it gets chilly enough) that would spark nostalgia. i think it's a sort of cheerfully resigned type of nostalgia for her though; though she was happy, she loves her life where she is now and doesn't necessarily miss her childhood. ON A MORE MODERN NOTE, i think brewing tea/making new blends/all that brings back some fond nostalgia for when she was just starting out her tea shop in torredaga. i think around season 4 she just gave the whole thing over to the shop's other employee and she doesn't even live above the shop anymore...she probably thinks fondly of it, and enjoys the feeling 8 (What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child): shdglsjfkls many things...she was being raised to be the heir to the cholmondeley art forgery empire so there were a lot of lessons on many different things and she did enjoy that but she was never quite suited for it...i think ultimately what she was told to stop doing most often as a child could be boiled down to "having fun" - put lessons first, family interests first, the future first, business first, don't pursue your own interests if they won't be ultimately beneficial. this definitely directly led to her season 1 drive, which was "fun comes first!" no matter the cost

Well I do know Turok is for the Nintendo 64, but what I did hear is that they rereleased their three Turok games on Modern Consoles. Just only 1, 2 and 3. Like it's on Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. But maybe you can check out the 3 Turok games on Steam once your computer has a brand new GPU installed. And also I have played Dino Crisis before and so did my dad. I own the first one since that's what I wanted to start with. And it's one of the only 1999 PS1 titles I play alongside Gran Turismo 2, Pac-Man World, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Medal of Honor, Crash Team Racing, Silent Hill, Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage, Pepsiman, Gex 3, Need for Speed High Stakes, Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, and Bugs Bunny Lost in Time. Also I downloaded Dino Crisis on the PlayStation Store which I still have on my Vita since I don't have my PlayStation 3 anymore and wanting to get another one or if I have enough money, I can get another PlayStation Plus Premium when I have enough money.

I do enjoy Smash Bros Ultimate too. Since I got that game for Christmas around 2018 and I do enjoy the story and the game itself. I have played online with Smash Bros a lot. But not too much because I don't want to get myself overpowered with my temper. Because normally with Mario Kart, I always like to do it in Simpsons Hit and Run Style and that's how I don't rage in Mario Kart. And also for Smash Bros, since we have all the Characters, it would be nice for Nintendo to start an RPG where our players get to use Cards when you use characters like Spirits. But it stinks that Smash Bros can't make trophies anymore because I really love the Trophies. But with Spirits, it kinda reminds me of using cards like trading cards. That's the reason why I was thinking I came with Kingdom Smash because it's a mix between Smash Bros and Kingdom Hearts, and also other Square Enix titles. That's what I thought if Nintendo were to collaborate with Square Enix again since I know they already remastered Super Mario RPG which I'm so glad they did. Because it makes a whole lot easier then just putting it on Nintendo Switch Online for Super Nintendo.

i like paganel a completely normal amount (unironically. i am genuinely normal about this). for the past month i've been rewatching the in search of captain grant series, and i'm currently starting to read the book. he's just so he he silley funney, and what an adhd icon! and of course his relationship with mcnabbs is. neat.

and diego de la vega I Guess? i've been consuming zorro media for almost a year now, and we're going through a rough time currently bc of shit he has been pulling in a specific adaptation, but that's fine. it's fine. other diegos are still my friends.

and then there's um. the. the. charles ix king of france as pictured by alexandre dumas in his book "la reine margot". my scrungly brungly son who has every disease. he's been occupying my brain for months at this point, he's so pathetic and miserable and his family is so so toxic, i genuinely feel sick and unwell thinking about him. and the rest of the last valois too, and catherine, and henri of navarre. there's a lot to overthink in that book (and in the other two too, i guess) and you can be sure i Have been overthinking it!

as for oc, i don't really have any, it was never my thing. there was kurzo, my d&d character, a halfling sailor cleric, who liked drinking and was afraid of water :') but ah. i'm not playing dnd anymore. and there was nicolò, a biotechnology student from palermo (as in studying in there. i never decided from where he was actually from, it was not important) who skipped classes to go paragliding. but as you can guess, that was less of an oc and more of a coping mechanism. i guess i just prefer to put characters i already know in situations, instead of inventing a whole new guy :>
