I think that he is actually very supportive

 Ratio gives off the vibes of being both the heaviest and lightest sleeper.

So when you wake up from a nightmare he is also quick to follow right behind,

Now if your like me, you have nightmares but mine don't really scare me, they are more like weird dreams at this point

Like you have absolutely nothing to fear, with boothill keeping watch you don't have to worry about anything or any shirt bags

Totally see Danny having fun being the big brother to both fairy Timmy and toddler Poof/peri

He could totally help Wanda & Cosmo help teaching Timmy to learn to fly (( also I see that being as Danny’s sister and friends were great at keeping his ghost powers a secret during his teenage years he can trust them not to tell about Fairies or that missing Timmy is now a fairy; also if I recall Jazz Danny’s sister was studying to be a therapist so she could help Timmy with any trama his birth parents caused and being as she’s so good at that I could see other fairies going to her for that kinda help or advice on helping their god children probably my fairy oc felicity would end up talking to her about her past childhood trauma of before she became a fairy and was taken in by Jorgen’s nana boom boom ( probably really helps Jazz out with her studies)

Also see felicity wanting to visit Jazz a lot to try to find ways to make sure Timmy will hopefully be last of human children being turned into a fairy because it’s extremely dangerous because not all humans make it through the change (and it mostly only works when they’re young) (Jimmy overheard this while Danny was too busy flying with Timmy & poof/peri at the time; Timmy already knows the dangers they did let him know before the change so he’s very understanding of why fairies don’t change humans into fairies too often and only in extreme cases) (Jazz will talk to Danny about it later once they’re back in their universe so they talk to Sam and trucker about it to get ideas on helping fairy world set better rules on the subject) totally seeing Jimmy having a few nightmares of losing Timmy forever over news of how things could’ve gone wrong with change from human to fairy

LoveSick!Athlete can really mold and mend well with most personalities and darlings, this is due to his manipulative personality. A little off-topic, but he really has a hard time understanding who he is because he's always pretending to be what others deem "acceptable". This causes him to have a multitude of identity crises, but when his darling, you, comes into the picture, it makes it easier for him to find himself. He feels like he's the real him whenever he's with you. You just feel so natural, he feels natural, too. It's just right.

And for that reason, I think LoveSick!Athlete would go really well with a childhood!reader, seeing as she's been with him since they were young. And, I'm not too sure if you've read my Yan!Alphabet for him, but I mention LoveSick!Athlete's childhood; let's just say it wasn't the best situation for a kid.

LoveSick!Athlete would feel a special bond with his darling now, seeing as they've been together threw thick and thin. He's trama bounded to you, and you to him. We'll run off the assumption that reader has also had a bad childhood, whether it be an absent parent, abusive sibling/family member/or parent, whatever it is allows you to feel a connection to LoveSick!Athlete, seeing as you have a mutual situation. You both have something to bond over, something that locks you together.

He has a bad home environment, you have a bad home environment. He doesn't feel at home, so you become his home, and he to you.

And I like to run on the assumption that reader is all talk, no bite. And if you've read any of my writing where the reader talks, you'll see that I prefer to write reader as more "real" (to me anyway) because I'm personally not the hugest fan of the "helpless" reader. I like to write a darling who has a mouth, someone who's bratty (but that's 'cause I'm a brat lol).

Anyway, I'm getting off-topic, back to LoveSick!Athlete.

To your idea about a snarky reader, I totally agree. Honestly, LoveSick!Athlete would eat that shit up, no joke. He would love it, as he enjoys the back-and-forth between you two. He loves to press your buttons, wanting to see what sarcastic reply you have ready for him.

The thing is, he knows your just talking shit, never willing to actually do anything. You just run your mouth, and he lets you, but whenever you step outta line, sometimes, he's gotta put you back. Though, you'll never think of it like that. No, no, he's too sweet for that. He's gotta keep that golden retriever vibe going, y'know?

He just swat you on the ass, telling you that you got such a dirty mouth, mamas? I thought you were my little princess, no? Girls with a face like yours shouldn't be speakin' that like-

He'll just move on, as if he didn't just grope your butt, nope, not at all. And you'll be standing there awestruck, face red, and biting your tongue as you try to not overheat in embarrassment!!

It never ceases to entertain him, watching your face widen with surprise whenever he refers to you as his girl, his cute little girlfriend. The way your face heats up when he wraps his strong arm around your waist, putting his cap on your head (a silent sign of possession over you, trying to get the guy in the back to keep his eyes to himself, but you don't need to know that ;)).

In your little monologue, you go over some cheerleader girl (named Cindy??). Though I would agree that chicks (and some dudes) practically flock around LoveSick!Athlete, I would say that he doesn't even pay them any mind, not even entertaining the thought. Don't get me wrong, he'll talk to them, but make it painstakingly clear that he's only got one girl on his mind, you.

Most of the time, the girl will just find it endearing, slapping his shoulder, and telling him that he'd make a great husband or some shit like that. Of course, the chicks joking, making some nice comments to leave the, now awkward, conversation, but LoveSick!Athlete will take it to heart. Now, he's imagining a pretty ring on your finger, something he paid for, he got you. Because he'd be such a good provider for you, don't you know?

Another thought, 'cause I'm on a role, but I'm not sure if I've directly said this or not, but LoveSick!Athlete is a hockey player. I've tried putting strickly hockey photos on all my posts (you should see my Pinterest feed, it's filled with hot guys lolol).

Hockey is an aggressive sport, I would know. I used to ice skate every day for an hour or two. And, trust me, I got to see a lot of hot guys, though I was always too nervous to say anything, that's beside the point.

I can imagine that reader would be the same, intimidated by these testastrone-filled, young men who just wanna get all sweaty and gross. And I prefer to think that reader also doesn't know how to skate, much to LoveSick!Athlete's enjoyment.

Just to torture you, he'll take you to his ice rink, partly wanting to show you off, and also wanting you to rely on him to move around. He won't even let you hold onto the side, nope, all you got is him, babes.

And anyone who's been to a rink before knows that if you're not on the wall, or smack in the middle of the rink, you're in traffic, especially if it's busy. And this means that you gotta go fast, keeping pace with everyone else. And there's always a handful of assholes (usually hockey players) who will purposefully do a hockey stop, flinging a shit tone of ice at newbies.

I imagine that this shit would happen all the time and LoveSick!Athete is enjoying it sm. He gets a rush every time you flinch, clinging onto him tighter, especially when the really fast skaters zoom by you, scaring the crap outta you.

And he won't let you go at your own pace, forcing you to follow his lead. This means you're going far too fast for comfort, leaning on him for support. You're arms wrapped around his bicep, which isn't recommended btw. Your cheek pressed against his arm, holding on for dear life.

You'll snap at him, telling him to shut up and stop enjoying this, you dork. I'm only clinging to 'cause I gotta!

And he'll just take it, giving you a lopsided smirk.

Analyzing the difference between timmy and dev

So I want to have my take on a little bit of analyzing dev and Dale's character.

So as we know and love the show.Fairly parents with Timmy Turner.There is a definite change in the way they handle magic and their life issues.

Take timmy for example. His family pretty much ignored him. He had an evil babysitter. Yet he was happy because he could have wishes.

The reason I find dev dimmadome character so genius is the teaching behind it.

Pretty much every character that ended up having a godparent ended up happy despite their circumstances.

Yet dev dud not.

Having a fairy did not make him more trusting. Having a fairy did not make him not grumpy and still a stand off kid.

And most importantly.

Dev never got what he needed even with a godparent.

His dad's love.

Unlike timmy who even though had neglectful parents could wish away his troubles because he did have god parents.

It was not the same for dev. Even though he had magic and everything. He didn't want possessions. He wanted his dad's love.

He's a much more flawed character than the other characters. Because magic wasn't enough to make him happy.

I very much admire this creator for going to that length. Teaching us that just because you have a fairy godparent dosent mean all your troubles go away.

Some pain is to deep.

I think it's a very well written remy buxaplenty plot of what we could've had.

And I know so many people don't like his behavior but you have to remember that he is just a child. He has a right to be upset with Hazel. I mean I know it's not her fault.

But imagine having a parent that you have wanted to pay attention to you and you find out he cares more about what your friends are doing.

And I don't think Dale is completely a messed up. Person either like when it comes to that he's not redeemable.

I've seen another post. I feel like he has a lot of past tramas and pain what happened to him.

And I do hope the creator gives them both a happy ending all the while being able to let him have his god parent.

Bakudeku is super canon, an analysis

Sorry izuocha shippers (I was one too, 4 years ago) but bakudeku is here to stay, and that's been pretty clear since the chapter 403 spoilers. So here's an analysis of their relationship through the series commemorating that they're almost canon.

It starts from the very beginning of the manga, these two are portrayed in the very first panels, advancing their importance in the trama.

We found an Izuku and a Katsuki that were friends, till they grew up a little bit to find out they weren't that compatible.

At first we think that Bakugou is always looking down on Izuku, but in reality he is afraid of someone quirkless surpassing him. Because let's be for real, there's a reason why Katsuki wasn't even surprised when Izuku got into UA (not knowing that he had a quirk yet) he didn't even question that he entered and surpassed the exam, why? Because Bakugou didn't underestimate Izuku, he envied (admired) him.

Which is why he had to make sure he knew "his place". Which was behind him, he was afraid of Izuku growing too much to the point he left him behind. I also like to think that their collocation in class ( Katsuki just in front of Izuku) is a hidden symbolism of that.

Izuku doesn't actually like Katsuki, he is pissed when he sees that he got in the same class as him again at UA (as well as he is when he sees Tenya lol). But he can't help but admire him and think about him. He even tells Uraraka "I can't stand his guts but I can't help but to admire him" in the first season.

Bakugou and Midoriya are the worst pair possible in season two as well, when they work together to defeat All Might. They send us that message again and again, they can't stand each other, they're never going to be. Till they are.

Months and seasons pass, and they get closer everytime. Bakugou is more chill about him and Izuku is more confident around him. The super aggressive boy and his scared victim are no longer there.

Izuku surprisingly wants to be closer to him, something that he couldn't have believed a year ago or at the start of UA, Bakugou too. We start seeing Izuku reaching out for Katsuki, when he ignored him all the time before, to avoid a fight. At the same time, Katsuki starts worrying about him and tries to cover it up without success. They both get closer eventually without really realising it.

Izuku then explodes when Monoma insults Katsuki referring to the end of All might, knowing how much it affected him. Remembering him crying. And that's probably the moment when he realises that he's in love with him, because he lies to Katsuki and All Might saying that he doesn't know why he lost control of black whip.

Katsuki also risks his life for Izuku by impulse, following his true feelings and his heart. Just like Izuku did back then. He wakes up thinking about him and willing to die just to see his face.

Izuku leaves a letter to Katsuki different from the rest of the class, we never got to know what it said... Maybe because it was a spoiler of their relationship. Maybe that's why we don't get povs from Izuku since that scene with the blackwhip anymore, because it might spoil their confession.

Izuku lost control of his heart, of black whip again, when Katsuki died. "control your heart!" Was what the 3rd vestige of OFA and Mirio told him, twice... What a coincidence.

Izuku can't, but he tries to. Because there's a possibility that his Kacchan makes it and defeats death, so he has to protect his body.

And finally, Katsuki does it. He wakes up. And then everything makes sense to Izuku again

Imagine if the player controlling Akari/Rei just trama dumps on a self aware NPC like Melli or volo about there irl life, thinking they wouldn't care and just leaves them horrified.

Oh, how horrified it would leave them-

You just kinda idle in front of Melli for a bit, rubbing your temples, clearly exhausted. Why did you even start playing anyway when you had to get up early tomorrow? "Man... My brain is in such a fog today. I can barely concentrate."

You stretch as your back pops.

"Getting hit by a car definitely wasn't what I needed. Especially after working so long today... I'm just glad he hit the breaks in time, so it wasn't like he hit us hard... and I still have to go into work for 10 hours tomorrow.

Your voice sounds so low and tired. "Should have known boss would ask for a damn doctors note just so I could have a day off after an accident, claiming if I didn't, it wasn't 'that' serious. Ugh. I just know I have bruises forming. Is that not enough?" You set the switch down beside you, leaning into your couch cushion. "Add that my family decided my house was perfect for the holidays to visit when I told them I didn't want to host... I just know one of my aunts is going to yell at me again over painting my room my favorite color or something. Or asking about my love life and trying to set me up with some stranger, and getting mad when I say no. Ugh. Maybe I should just go to bed..."

You put your switch in sleep mode, unaware of the horrified look on both the Hero and Melli's faces. This wasn't the first time the Hero had heard you talk about your many troubles, but it was still worrying all the same.

Melli though, was very much not expecting that. Even he seemed a bit horrified just from the small bit he gleamed from your small ramble.

Angron as sanguinius's bodyguard/protector!au

( I have very limited knowledge of the books/am still slowing making my way though the warhammer lore and most of my understanding comes from fandom interactions and this is very crackish indulgent idea that probs doesn't make too much sense if you apply some logic to it but hush ಥ_ಥ)

Angron but they find a way to get rid of his nails but he's still very angry ect >:O

Him and sanguinius interact and sang suggests therapy ala blood angel style. Cue a montage of him slowing being shown how to paint, draw and appreciate the fine arts ect. Angron starts spending more and more time with the angel and consequently finds himself near sanguinius when he wakes up screaming and sang comforts him. Maybe sanguinius expirenceing his own nightmares becaue of his visions and angron becoming less and less awkward when he pets his hair and tells him its ok that it was just a dream.

Regardless they both become really close (maybe even ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) close if that's what Ur into hehehe). sanguinius is one of the first people to show him any sort of kindness or understanding appart from his brothers and sisters. He still hates the emperor but he'll endure it if it means he gets to be with his brother.

Cue the horus heresy.

Everything is more or less the sameish with angron hesitating a little to join horus but his hatred for the emperor wins.

(I know that sanguinius and angron fight but er maybe they don't in this au?? Idk just skip to the fight on the vengeful spirit)

Sanguinius is completely exhausted and can barely keep himself upright when he confronts horus but confront him he does .

Angron realises where his true loyalties lie.

Horus is confused.

A Wolverine Finds a Spider:

Wolverine semi animalistic, with strong urges to protect 'kits' and nest. he prefers when everyone is safe and will drag people around to get them to safety. Peter picks up chuffing and rumbling from him. he marks up his territory and occasionally fights with blade about who leads the pack and how best to look after remy. will scent mark kits by putting his jacket on them or rubbing his chin on them

Gambit is vampire fledgling adjacent as he was raised by Blade in the void so he responds to stressors by hissing, showing his teeth, and whistles and keens to communicate. he learns chuffing from logan.

Sabretooth is not in the fic yet, but he is more animalistic- willing to eat stuff raw and loves fighting. he has never encountered another feral and so is lonely kitty hours. when he smells pack on gambit he immediately goes into- cub is pack. cub needs food and safety. and thus he starts marking gambit as his and licking his hair and purring. gambit might pick up purring from him. idk

A ticking Time bomb:

evo Wolverine is a little more animalistic in this, constantly sneef snorfing, very much in pack mindset. he smells himself and pack on void remy and immediately wants to take care of the kit. He easily shifts into more feral modes.

evo Sabretooth is similar to above, accept he is constantly seeking to be pack with logan and establish who has the leadership rolls. he has a similar reaction to wolvie and wants to take care of the cub, but is a lot more on board with the idea of never returning to civilization compared to logan

void remy is similar to above fic.

Evo gambit tho... he actually picks up hissing and whistling like a vamp. fledgling from void remy when they both are taken by hydra. he also learns to chuff. he is less okay with being snuggled and scented than void remy. not written yet but I think he would pick up purring from creed and the lip curling snarl and stance from logan.

creed is very in tune with instincts and has decided since Gambit didn't back down from him like prey and fed him food and contraband, gambit is now his cub. he will be invading gambits spaces and filling them with his own scent while trying to mark the cub. he's a touchy person. and is only ever one step away from being a giant roaring lion.

gambit... has some dark backstory and trama in this one that make him less open to touch and scenting. he'll prolly get more touchy with just pack after a while. he might start growling if around creed long enough.

If/When you collab he was iffy on wether he wanted you to duet with 2D at first because he's a bit jealous

But he can't argue with what sounds good, and the voice of his amazing S/O, and the voice of the singer in HIS BAND is something that is he needs for his next album

Murdoc will always talk about how he could go solo too if he wanted to, once he learned his S/O was a solo act

If he drinks too much when you guys are hanging out he will start singing himself, and encouraging his S/O to sing with him

When recording he will give you as nice of criticism as he can if your not hitting the right notes or arn't in the right pitch- but satan forbit one of the others try to give you constructive criticism, especially 2D

Whenever he has nightmares about his childhood and his dad, and his S/O's around he finds it comforting if his S/O hummed to him but he won't ask you to hum to him though because he's scared that you'ed think he's weak

And if your not around when he's haveing a nightmare, he'll listen to one of your songs to calm himself down

If his S/O's a smaller and less well known singer- he will often tells his S/O how he can hook them up with good produser(even if S/O already has one) and anything that you as a smaller creator may not have access to, and will promote you sometimes like on an interview

And even if you are just as popular he can be a bit stuck up and will be like 'Yeah but, Gorillaz is little bit more popular'

Murdoc has mentioned before that he's glad that your a soloist, because he would feel bad for your band mates because of how bad you would out shine them

Noodle is can be quite the extrovert, so she would love to go out and do karaoke with her S/O

She almost tears up duing a live performance collab because everthing feels so perfect and amazing at that point in time she can't help be a bit emotional

Noodle will travel the world to see her S/O preform at concerts

She would be absolutely in love if her S/O could sing in different languages

2D is ecstatic to have a S/O that is also a singer

He is just so happy to have someone to relate to

Before 2D even starts dating his S/O(like in crush faze) he would have already asked S/O to do a collab as a way to get closer with them

Like Noodle, 2D owns a lot of his S/O's merchandise not as much as her but still a lot

He likes to atend his S/O's concerts but prefers to watch back stage because while he loves his fans and fan interactions he also hates the idea of taking attention away from his S/O at his S/O's concert, and due to his very recognizable appearance he is likely going to draw attention to himself in a crowd of people

2D will blab to anyone who will listen about his S/O and their solo career as a singer, this is the case often in interviews where the interviewers ask about y'alls relationship

When talking with his S/O and his S/O's career as a singer he has forgoten he was a singer himself

2D tends subconsciously sing or hum to himself, and if his S/O joined him in his little tune he would melt into putty- though it would take him a hot second to realize that they where singing with them

He's fascinated by the fact that his S/O's are a solo singer, and often asks you about it, though he often gets off track with his questions

When it comes time for the collaboration 2D gets distracted constantly, by his S/O, and their voice specifically

While 2D getting distracted in the studio isn't new, but him getting distracted while recording is, as he tends to hyperfixate on singing when recording- but now half way through the lyrics he just slowly stops and stares at his S/O like nothing else in the world exists- with a goofy euphoric grin on his face, and when S/O stops cuz he stoped he'll mutter out praise about S/O's voice/singing Much to the others dissmay

Russel is a very supportive boyfriend

Out of all of the band mates he's the one that doesn't mind watching from the crowd the most- but much like 2D he doesn't like taking attention away from his S/O

If you show him the lyrics to a song you are working on he likes to suggest beats that might sound good with it

While Russel was happy to collaborate with his S/O, he's the least thrilled about it in the group- as he likes to balance his work life and home life as much as he can even though its really hard to so bring his love life into work life isn't exactly thrilling for him I mean did you see how it worked out for 2D

Russel is also the most professional when it comes time to collaborate with his S/O, like I said he tries to separate home life and work life and he does this by acting professional and trying to ignore the fact he is dating the person he is working with

Whenever the bands on tour and he misses his S/O he likes to listen to S/O's music even if it's not his type of music, but he usually won't really listen to the collab music at that time because it only makes him think of work(also no one but Noodle knows he does this)

And to add on to him and his S/O's music, Russel likes to suggest his S/O's music but he's very sublet about it

Besides actually collaborating as a work thing, he likes to help his S/O with their songs, whether it be helping with lyrics, what instruments to use, or with beats- though he rarely does this as he is usually he is exhausted with making music from work

He's overall just really chill about it in general, he's doesn't mind that your a soloist, and out of everyone he's the most neutral in that category

Though Russel sometimes jokes about how he's jealous that you don't have to deal with band mates and that he wishes he was a solo act or that he was in a band with his S/O instead

I mean Russel loves his band mates but sometimes they can be down right obnoxious *cough* 2D *cough* Murdoc

Your friends come back over and are so shocked to see you absolutely smitten with this man. 

Eventually the night passes with you and Simon chatting, eventually exchanging numbers and heading out. 

Meeting number two! Is soap to the rescue tbh

You work at a little coffee shop, soap comes in and orders the same 4 drinks any time he's in. Only place near base (or in general) that has a blend of black tea Simon likes. Johnny is chatty at the counter while he waits, it's never bussy when he comes in- He talks about his friend Simon a lot, 

Reminds you of a mother trying to talk up her son 💀 

Eventually he suggests you go on a date with his buddy, and he suggests to Simon that he go on a date with the cute lad at the Coffey shop.

A Little Buddie Hope in all that Trama?

Last week, I had a mopey post about my worries that the show would erase Buddie from previous seasons in order to make the new storylines work with what the actors and producers are saying about the characters. i.e. Eddie is heterosexual. I'm still not sure we will get canon, but I'm hopeful because one, I found a flaw in my reasoning for that post. And two, I remembered Athena's relationship with her first husband, Michael.

In season one, Michael came out as a gay man. Not bi. He was married to Athena with two kids. He loved her. He never stopped saying that he loved her. But he wasn't "IN" love with her. At one time, he said he hoped Athena would fix him. When he learned that she had been attacked in season three, he ran to be with her when he got the call. He was in mid-conversation with the man he eventually married, and he didn't even stop to tell him why he was leaving.

If we look at Eddie, he may or may not be as self-aware as Michael. I'm hoping he is because the show has given us clues in previous seasons that would fit with this interpretation of Eddie. Within the first few episodes that Eddie is in, he talks about how he isn't dating, how the girls they met on a call weren't his type, etc. Later, Buck finds help for Christopher through Carla. He tricks Eddie into coming to his place by saying he needs help to move Maddie. When Eddie learns it was a lie, his expression is a little annoyed at first and then filters to dread. He asks Buck if he is trying to set him up. Buck doesn't quite answer, he goes to answer the door and it's Carla. The expressions that go across Eddie's face, to me, were telling. Relief, surprise, and a new look just for Buck. [I feel this is the moment he fell in love or began to fall in love with Buck.-- There is also a whole other side to those first episodes after Buck starts to accept Eddie. In those episodes, he tries to please Eddie, and he stutters when he talks. He is shy and flirty, but that's a whole different thing.]

Anyway, back to Eddie. When he was with Ana, he almost mirrored Michael by admitting that he thought things would work with them, the "idea" of them. Chris loved her so much, that Eddie thought he would too. In another episode, he talks about feeling as though he were performing. Hen gives him a look that matches the one she gave Tommy & Buck in season 7 when Buck had soot on his face. The scene moves quickly so you can easily miss it, but it's there. There are more moments than I've named here that speak to Eddie's feelings, and these are the moments I felt would have to be erased if we believed Ryan Guzman about Eddie's heterosexuality. In my previous post, I was mopey about that until I realized a flaw in my thinking.

Tim has known his plans for Buck for a while. He actually wasn't sure if it was going to be Eddie instead. (most of us know that already) Either way, he knew as the episodes were being written for season 7 what would happen for Buck and that people would be paying close attention to Eddie. Within those first episodes, Eddie talks to Bobby and admits that he married Shannon because she got pregnant and they both felt pressured into it, but he never regretted it. Even when things got bad, he loved being married to her. (again the "idea" of it, just like what he said to Ana. Also, he said, that he loved being married- he didn't say he loved Shannon.) [I need help here. Someone to meta it for me-I have a big disconnect from the way Ryan nailed that scene with Kim in the most recent episode. To bring that much emotion and tears to this scene doesn't match with what he said to Bobby earlier in the season.]

Also in this season, we have Eddie referring to his Catholic past. The church, as most of us know has a long-established history of homophobia. Eddie talks about how deeply his family was into Latin-based Catholicism. While there is no direct mention of homophobia, there doesn't have to be. He talks about reaching a certain age and saying it wasn't for him. I think an awareness of his sexuality could have prevented him from fully buying into religion. However, rejecting religion doesn't mean those toxic messages weren't still there. Those messages were alongside the pressures he received from his father as young as 10 to be a man.

** Edit ** There is a space here for Eddie's reaction to Buck coming out. Based on this interpretation, it still makes sense for him to accept Buck. This is who Eddie is. He can accept Buck for everything he is without question. Despite the hold that the church and toxic masculinity have on him, Eddie doesn't hold anyone to that same standard. He rejected it when he rejected religion, but he is holding himself to that standard, and I believe this is the main part of the story that the show has not revealed to us yet. Eddie is not homophobic. Why can't he accept himself if he can accept others? (assuming this interpretation is the correct one.) Is Eddie so desperate to have his father's love? Is it that deep well of Catholic guilt he talked about? [Will Eddie, at some point, end up in a confessional, giving us all the canon we long for? I'd personally, love to see him alone by Bobby's bedside, holding that prayer book, and confessing to him the truth. That would slap. lol]

I had forgotten that these scenes were in season 7 when Tim knew full well what was coming with Buck. This doesn't mean that he will definitely write Eddie into a coming-out story, but it does mean that he is not likely to erase the stories that made me ship Buddie in the first place. If he were planning to erase those stories, he would not still be adding little pieces to that story.

TL;DR - My logic was flawed in my last post. Buddie isn't canon, and I do vacillate back and forth about this subject but hope is not completely gone for a Buddie endgame.

Michael was a perfect victim for the distortion {a short essay} ft some extra spiral siblings

Do you ever think about how Michael wasn’t a fit for the distortion in the was Helen was

Helen willingly became it

She fit the gaslighting part of it, the one driving people mad.

Michael is the opposite

He was the perfect victim for it

Michael was the one that was driven mad

He was too trusting, trusting people he shouldn’t of

He was manipulated by Gertrude and was kept in the dark or even gaslighted by the others about the entity’s existing

This next part is going to me much more hc because we don’t know much about Og!Michael in cannon

He was always talking about a “monster under the bed” everyone dismissed it as nothing and no one ever believed him

After the distortion took his friend in high school and Michael tried to tell people what he saw he was quickly titled crazy and went to work for the Magnus institute to find answers and convince himself he wasn’t

when he became the distortion his response to it wasn’t manipulating you into thinking your mad it was him going so mad it drove you mad

Going back to this post what if it was him the whole time, the distortion never controlled him, he just went so mad he thought it was, he went so mad he couldn’t recognize his human self as him

If Michael wasn’t sacrificed to it to stop the ritual (and had the map) he would’ve been one of the people taken by it anyway

- On a side note an au where season one Michael and Helen roles where switched could be interesting

Gertrude never sacrificed him to it and at some point Helen became it, and went after Michael

- On a lighter note I like to think about an au where Michael didnt die when Helen took over but instead trapped in the hallways

The distortion still having a pull on him and wouldn’t let him leave

When he tried it was like the door was still closed

And due to that and that Helen was now the distortion so she would be staying there a lot, rlly only had each other for company

That and the fact that the same entity had power over them ended up quite close

I like to think it kinda linked them together

We know the distortion can pull from its avatars memory’s so that kinda ended up happening

Also in canon Helen still knows about about him and what it’s like being him because of the distortion time as him

Both of them having ties to it could make that go both ways

During the Eyepocalypse Michael could move around a bit more into the spirals domains

He didn’t like to because he saw the others suffering and felt guiltily about being one of the “feared” (especially when people recognized him from when we was the distortion)

After Jon Ceaseless Watchered Helen she was in a state similar to Michael

After the Eyepocalypse they still stuck around each other as found family (and trama bonded)

As much as I would love for Alistair to be alive, I've honestly started wondering if it would actually be better that he did die. Both for his and Mc's sake. I know its sad, but otherwise I could see him and mc facing a lot of heartbreak over it.

And its been 10 years, a whole decade. Mc may have had a hard life, but they didn't have to worry about survival/money etc. They lived in relative peace and safety. (Though I'm sure mc got food poisoning at least once..) And they did have people that tried to be there for them. Even mc's that discounted Lance and Hunter's company, they still had Fadiya and Neima. And some mc's are still super messed up. Who knows what Alistair would have had to go through. And how would that have shape him. And the agony of having his twin kidnapped and married off to the same man that killed his family.

So supposing he did survive. Its possible he's off living a relatively peaceful life, albeit still with the trama of losing his familly and nearly dieing. And he would probably be working hard to find a way to rescue Mc. Training and studying and whatnot. Best case scenario, his personality has dulled but still retained a bit of sunshine. Mellowed but still hopeful. Still a recognizable older version of himself, even if sadder overall. I think that would definitely hinge on him being rescued and taken in by a kind and loving person/family and got properly cared for emotionally and all. And I feel that is unfortunately not going to be the case if he lived. (Because of course you wouldn't let something so nice happen 😒)

Otherwise, what would have happened? Who would it have been to save him then? Would he have just layed low, gotten a lowkey job, had to steal to survive? Would he have joined some rebel/mercenary group? I feel like some groups would have seen a good oportunity for a royal in their fold. Would the people around him be kind and nurturing, or not? Would he retain his current personality?

Maybe he'd be colder, cinical. Would he have seen and lived the harsh reality of the world and turned into a bitter, cruel, and merciless version of himself, intent on revenge?

What happens when he and Mc finally reunite? Would it be the joyful occasion everyone expects? If the first case, then yes. He and Mc finally get to have a happy life together. The End. Well…maybe. Even if Alistair is still the same as Mc remembers, what about the Mc? What if they've change so drastically, caught up in their hatred and revenge, so unwilling to back down even if it destroys everyone around them? Would they still be someone Alistair could love?

But if he and Mc want revenge just as much, maybe things would work out. Would mc be able to see the change in him reflected back on them and regret what they've both turned into? What if Mc didn't want revenge. Would he aquiesce to mc's wishes or not? Would mc be horrified to see what he had become? The image they once had of him be ruined by this new version.

And past that, how would mc feel about the news of his survival being kept from them?

His body should have been missing, right? Luceris would have know if he had lived in that case, or at least suspected it, and by extention so would Lancelot. I don't know if Helios or Hunter would have know. However, even if they didn't, mc still might think that they both knew and just didn't tell them. Afterall, its not the first time things have been kept from them.

So would mc be able to forgive them, especially one who was close to them. Or would that permanently destroy any trust and friendship they had with them.

I think when people say they wish for Alistair to be alive, they never consider what being alive could've looked like for him. Nor the fact he could have changed and become someone who is a stranger to MC.
