I know I haven't posted art of her but here are some of doodles of my TADC oc Katra (:

She is indeed supposed to represent an acrobat given her circus garb represents those sparkly leotards most acrobats have in circuses. She is what is considered a "Harlequin Cat" given her half colors. This adds on the her person outside of the digital circus where she is abit of a jumble of emotions, or she's "half n half" with her emotions, she's either one way or the other and tends to struggle to make up her mind, which tends to take toll on her emotions about things or people(shes an emotional wreck sometimes but she can keep it hiddem sadly). She may act serious and distant(she hates ceying infront of others), but she is a sweetheart when she wants to be. (Except to jax, she won't tolerate him lol)

Furthermore, she is a wonderful listener and used to be considered the "therapist friend" in her past.. (given this helps why her avatar is a feline as fun fact: cat owners are least likely of dying of a heart attack as purring of a feline helps lower your heart rate, helping reduc stress and anxiety)

She is indeed very flexible, and in her former life may have been in gymnastics of sorts, which adds to her avatar character. That is why it is a feline. She can't actually fly with her wings sadly despite her many attempts, so she sticks to aerial silks or a variety of acrobatic stunts/feats just to have that sense of flying. Her only happy place and time where she actually feels free despite the pressuring cage of the circus...

I've noticed in alot of doodles i forgot her wings, I do intend to add her wings in future doodles(despite the current new posts I've done of her without her wings I do apologize, I've only recently started drawing her again. I'll fix this later ;w;).

I'm N.C. Zaversnick, which lets be real is a pen name.

If you're wondering how I came up with it it's a combination of my and my writing partner's name.

Anyway I'm the one y'all will be interacting with so this will focus mostly on me. You can, however, follow Rachelle on Instagram @panda.panduh.

I'm 22, disabled and queer as hell. I also have ADHD and autism. I use he/they pronouns and I've been writing and drawing since I was 8. I also read a great deal, mostly fantasy though I started reading more dystopians when I started seriously working on Project Gemini.

My favorite book is The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen.

First off: Project Gemini

Project Gemini is the name for my book series that I do intend to publish some day. We're still working on book one but currently we're planning four books total for this series.

In a very general sense, this is a YA dystopian series with queer characters of an appropriate age (about mid 20s)

I can only describe it as what you'd get if you crossed X-men with Avatar. Some members of humanity evolved to have fire/water/earth/air powers. So naturally the government oppressed them. This leads to the creation of a rebel group determined to fight for their rights or overthrow the government whichever comes first. The story follows Caspian, a water elemental guy, and his experience when he meets this group and joins their cause.

Fandomverse

So this is why I don't have 5 bajillion WIPs. I take literally every idea I've ever had and mush them all together into this story. Anything I can't fit becomes an AU using OCs from this universe.

This one is a two year long text chain between me and a friend from middle school. It is a mix of original characters and world building and whatever random fandom shit we want.

It came to be while I was deep in my Doctor Who phase and I created my very own Time Lord/The Doctor. (Canonically speaking, he is the Doctor and the TV show Doctor Who still exists but everything in the TV show is based on stories my time lord told some BBC writers while drunk). My friend had a good deal of her own universe by then and so we just mushed the two together.

The basics are what would happen if a Time Lord and a couple of reapers fell in love and had many paranormal adventures but also were parents trying to raise their kids to be knowledgeable in both the human world and the paranormal world.

For the most part, this is the universe for most of the art I share, nnot so much for writing

WARNING! This post contains spoilers for Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye!

If you have not yet completed this DLC (Or Outer Wilds for that fact), I would suggest not reading past the read more. What I talk about in here will spoil some of the largest parts of the DLC, and they're too good to not experience for yourself first.

Y'all gone? Alright, now let's get into this mess of a character.

Richard the Owlk

Part 1: Origins

Richard's origins are probably not a conventional way for OCs to be made. Richard was spawned entirely as a joke from several VRChat sessions I had with some friends. In them, we would usually start in the Outer Wilds avatar world, and one of the avatars was a customizable Owlk! Naturally, I tried to make the silliest looking one possible, so I gave them no antlers (But I prefer just calling them bald). While I used this avatar, I jokingly called them Richard. Not only did this name stick for the character itself, but it also somehow got attached to me. So if you're wondering why I had that random name listed as one of the ones you can call me, that's why.

Part 2: The Lore

This is where it somehow gets sillier. I never intended for Richard to be a serious character, so naturally I just started making up whatever lore I wanted for him. So, here's what the initial lore was:

He's bald (As mentioned earlier)

He's a certified Fortnite gamer

He sleeps in doorways (The one on the top end of the stairs in the Party House in the Shrouded Woodlands is the main one he sleeps in)

He eats children

As you can see, not the most serious OC. But again, I hardly intended for them to be serious. It wasn't until they had been around for a while and I started getting art of them that more lore started developing. So, here's the Serious Lore™:

Richard was spawned through a bug in the simulation's code. Despite the Owlk's best attempts to fix the bug, he was never patched out and remained in the simulation indefinitely.

He didn't act like other Owlks. He would often be looming in the distance, watching. Waiting.

He wasn't very... friendly, so to say. Various reports were made and many stories were told about the various things he had done, but there were never any other witnesses for any one story.

By the time the events of the main game are taking place, there are no other Owlks left in the simulation except for Richard (And the Prisoner, but due to their current situation, Richard couldn't feasibly get rid of them).

And so far, that's the lore. There are some other meta things I could think of that would explain how they would work in the context of the game, but that doesn't necessarily apply to their lore.

Part 3: Personality

I've given a lot of thought about Richard's personality and how it would work with both sides of his lore, and I think I've worked something out.

Richard experiences what I would best describe as very extreme mood swings, due to how messy the bug that allowed him to exist was.

One is the very silly, very goofy Fornite-playing doorway-sleeping Owlk that most people (Aside from the other Owlks) know and love.

The other side is the side that the Owlks experienced, with the general creepiness and violent nature.

My best comparison would be to some kind of mental illness, but I'm very cautious and nervous about saying that since A.) I don't know nearly enough about mental illnesses to name any one that it could be similar to, B.) I don't want to offend anyone who may have the mental illness that I specifically name, and C.) I don't want this to vilify mental illness in any way, shape, or form.

I'm very aware of how bad mental illness representation in media can be, and the last thing I want would be to add to that pile of misrepresentation. I would greatly appreciate any feedback or advice about this, since I'm very worried about portraying something the wrong way.

Part 4: Conclusion

Richard is still very much a character that's under development, as I'm still attempting to work out exactly how they act and behave. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated, and feel free to send me asks about them, be it questions or feedback!

I’ve been doing a lot of writing recently about different humanoid species, while I mainly write about vampires I wanted to post about a few of my other species! These of course are not representative of typical depictions of the species in question but are just specific to my universe that I’m writing about!

Tried to gather all my random species info into the same place, but sorry if this sounds choppy!

You are also absolutely free to draw them or make ocs using this concept! I’m not much of an artist so there won’t really be much art of these concepts from me right now, but there will be some in the future I promise!

Angel Lore!

Vaguely humanoid looking things with 5 pairs of wings, one on the sides of their face, 3 along their back and another pair around their genitalia. Angels have non human anatomy that looks sort of like a flower, the wings opening like petals when they’re aroused. (They have control over their first 4 pairs of wings but have very little control over the 5th) What’s under it varies between male and female but both have the ability to self lubricate and be penetrated. They’re also incredibly lazy, angel sex isn’t non kinky because they’re pure and holy, they just don’t wanna do all that lmfao

Angels also create nests! Their species heavily prioritizes just being comfortable and happy and they tend to like soft blankets and plushies quite a lot, especially when building nests. They court their mates, or just take care of partners they’re already mated with by helping brush and preen their many many feathers. They also shed feathers a lot and will use them in their nests!

Their sex isn’t like human sex either, much less work, because they’re lazy fucks. These guys are basically the pandas of the supernatural world.

It’s just a lot of cuddling and gentle touches until both their wings open up and they conned their bodies together. Think of it sort of like the hair things from avatar, sort of an automatic thing once they’re connected. It’s way more cuddles than it is sex, not that they couldn’t have normalish sex, but it’s basically pillow princess x pillow princess

Their wings are pretty big! The main 3 wings would be roughly the size of their body, the middle ones being the biggest. The face wings would just barely cover their face while the lower wings are pretty small. They’re not necessarily intended to fly with them despite being angels and all, they’re mostly just being lazy, making nests and being gay.

Humans never see angels for a reason

They’re very gentle creatures though- not a mean bone in their bodies- just sweet sleepy and gay

No brain, only feathers

They can speak normally but tend to coo like pigeons when happy (so most of the time)

A human could absolutely fuck an angel but the human would have to top and the angel would make them cuddle with them for a few hours after, wrap the human up in their big ol wings.

Angels are a bit bigger than humans, ranging from 7-10 feet tall, excluding wing height. They’re incredibly physically strong, especially their wings, but rarely do anything with that strength. Just hold human lovers hostage with their wings haha.

They give partners feathers as tokens of affection.

Angels like to put feathers in their partners hair. Humans don’t have feathers so they feel the need to give them some while grooming them, they’ll take shedded feathers from their nest and just place them in the humans hair. They treat grooming the same way humans treat giving a partner a massage, usually reserved for romantic interests, it’s a very affectionate gesture and how they bond with others.

Angels have a higher intelligence than humans do, they just decided they don’t want to do anything with it and they’d just rather be bird. They act very bird-like but they’re insanely smart, they just do whatever they want, and whatever they want is making nests, making noises at people and cuddles.

They also have a different sense of time than humans do. “A few more minutes” is like 5 hours. They will make you cuddle with them for multiple hours lmfao

They’re very big on cockwarming and just cuddling like that for very long periods of time. Why have sex when you can just cuddle and be physically connected??

They’re also **super** soft, their wings are like big blankets and they like to wrap their partners in them when they cuddle :3

their wings are super strong as well and they tend to sort of trap humans in them when cuddling and won’t let go unless the human verbally asks them, no amount of struggling will free you.

They value consent, but they don’t do things like that so a human being squirmy doesn’t register as “oh they’re unhappy”

Angels also purr! It’s a lot deeper than a cat’s purr, buts it’s a pleasant rumbly noise that has the same calming effect that cat purrs do. They tend to purr to either show affection or help calm an anxious companion, they also purr when nesting.

Angels also love being pet, especially in places they can’t easily reach like the bases of their wings. It’s very sensitive and feels very nice with touched gently. Their wings in general are pretty sensitive and they enjoy having them gently rubbed at pet. Similar to birds, angels companions will help them scratch and preen areas they can’t easily reach. this is a large way they form bonds with others, especially mates

Some incoherent ideas that may be hard to read on the sheet ;  - kind of like a venom situation, but the “symbiote” adjacent black goo is not a separate entity, it is apart of him (this is also what he bleeds)  - sunny can manipulate his blood because of this, like waterbenders from avatar sort of - he is very meticulous ( he even PRETENDS TO BREATH, or has some sort of device that helps him do so ) - sunny can shapeshift, the form depicted in the ref sheet is just the one he has spent the most time in ( his human form is potentially based on someone he first met, or a tv reality star? )  - shapeshifting takes energy, which is why his resting state is an amorphous blob - Sunny is benevolent, but will not hesitate to defend himself  - since he has been hiding his entire life, he can easily manipulate and deceive others, hence the constant “head-empty” face  - enjoys being social, and is often regarded as the life of the party by his coworkers  - the black goo can harden or “crystallize” whether sunny intended it to or not  - under states of immense distress ( although rare ) sunny may loose control over his abilities and become unstable  His skin, hair, teeth, eyes and all other organic human parts are made of this black goo. I’m thinking if you were to cut a part of him off it would return to its natural state (like in parasyte) or he could use additional energy to manipulate its appearance idk. - his “blood” is naturally black but he can change the color if necessary to disguise himself ( it requires immense focus to change forms quickly )  - Sunny’s origins are unknown (or in other words I’m too lazy to think of that part yet )

hey guys I might design an OFA file extension that has all of the character design specifications you would expect from a character sheet except instead of art it's computer code (i don't want to make it AI and i have a plan for doing it without AI). the intent is that you encode a character, as much as a computer can encode, then you take that file, and put it into a game that supports OFA files. the intention is that the OFA file ensures a compromise (if compromise is needed) between the character's traits (or intrinsic style, i.e. if your character is low poly or sketchy or smth) and the game's graphical style. i forgot what OFA stands for but if i had to guess it's Original Fiction Avatar. i don't think yall would like this so i probably wont add this - i was intending on accounting for characters that i think are like, legitimately bad in a irl way, for the sake of objectivity and so that everyone can use it. BUT I DON'T THINK THAT'S A GOOD IDEA! what do you think? i want there to be so many ways to represent simple geometric stuff, just so we have options. anyways i want to know if yall have ocs, discuss the most important parts of them and how plausible it is to fit them in this OFA file thing. list isn't complete btw this is just all i could think of before midnight

These are all WIPs, things I’ve started from new to old at varying times of my life in the past 2 years or so?? I like to think I’ve come a long way, and I want to share my journey learning and sometimes failing at different projects. I want there to be proof that I started from somewhere so if I ever do make it to a level where people say “Wow! How’d you learn to get that good?” I can say I wasn’t always, and it took practice and determination. It took mistakes and experience. I want to share even the bad stuff so I can feel good about the great stuff. And if there ever is a new artist out there who wants to see the old to new, heres my little archive of unfinished and might never finish stuff. 

First drawing is from Darling in the Franxx, I wanted to draw a Zero Two Fanart drawing of their story book that Zero Two read alot as a kid for a friend of mine. I might finish that one eventually.

Second: My attempt at Chloe fanart from the Uncharted Series! I had no knowledge or practice with anatomy so I was just playing around with the paint brushes. It is what it is lol. Maybe I’ll try again one day but I plan on practicing faces a bit more before than

Third: Just practicing drawing faces. I don’t consider it finished but it’s done enough for me I wont be working on it anymore.

Fourth: Korra when she admits her fears about dealing with Amon and being vulnerable with Tenzin. I may finish this but I think I was struggling with shading and how to make it look right, especially the eyes. This was when I was doing my one drawing of Korra for each episode little challenge I set for myself.

Fifth: I tried to draw my OC elf from the very first D&D game I ever played, hosted by a wonderful friend who DM’d a one shot. I loved this Wood Elf Ranger so much and her name is Inarie Wolfsbane. I tend to use that name in fantasy games now like DA or Neverwinter and ESO so if you see someone with that name as a Wood Elf it’s probably me lol. I again didn’t know any anatomy or how to properly make faces and it was early into me learning how to draw on my tablet so thats as far as that attempt will go lol

Sixth: This was a drawing I made for my sister, I still intend to finish it but I’m so worried about gifting my art when I don’t full like how its turned out. I think the background and detail is fine but I was trying to draw my family and I in the style of avatar? Idk really how to draw another way yet as that’s all I’ve been practicing until I figure out that infamous “my own style” but I’ll work on it.

Alright guys, I’ve made a BIG STEP in how I take commissions. After much deliberating, discussion, and research, I am switching to a vetting system for commission selection. -If you want me to design your character from scratch/without visual reference, I may charge up to 25% more based on complexity.

-Pets, Vehicles, Etc. Most pets will be a fraction of a figure’s cost (a dog might be +25% of the initial piece, for example.) However, if they are armored or otherwise complex, they can be up to the cost of a full other figure. Vehicles will likely be the cost of another figure by default.

-EXCESSIVE ALTERATIONS OF INKED AND COLORED PIECES This is why I send WIP sketches. Things get much more difficult to change after the sketch phase, so if you ask for a new facial expression/hair style etc more than twice, I may charge an alteration fee of $5-10 per change. (I will never charge you for mistakes I’ve genuinely made and have to go back and alter, such as a scar I forgot, incorrect colors, etc.)

-Sketches and inks are non-refundable if you cancel out.

-Changes requested after the full res image has been emailed to the commissioner will require an additional charge of $5-$15 based on complexity

For example, if you order a colored waist-up for $45, and cancel after I finish inking, the kill fee is $30. Meet Cinders Brimstone

Hey ya’ll! Well,THIS was long overdue. I basically just made my very first Fire Nymph OC for @princesscallyie ‘s Fire Nymph tribe. I’ve pretty much made him not too long ago. But I’m mainly posting him now because his character ties into one of my entries for @kururu418​  “s ToM Contest. 

Anyway, this is Cinders Brimstone. A sassy, flirty, & quick-thinking  fire nymph who. His fighting style is a combination of Tessenjutsu, A form of martial arts that involves the use of Japanese war fans (Think the Kyoshi warriors from Avatar: The last airbender and Kagura from Inuyasha.) and ballad. His signature move is “Dance of Fire” and has the magical ability Pheonix Wings. Both of these skills will be explained in debt once his bio is completed. (Which won’t take too long. Since I already got a good chunk of it done.   

And YES he is male. I intended to make him more of a femboy/male cross-dresser type of character (And this is my very first time making one too.). Though I’m thinking of giving him some new clothes. Since I’m not really feeling his current look anymore (I might just put him in a leotard or something.). But I’ll worry about that later.

I've drawn Inklings and Octolings in the past but never a full body of one. The closest was Zero Suit Octoling Samus, who was only missing her feet. I thought it would be a good time and challenge to create an Octoling from top to bottom unobstructed. This Octoling in question is my OC and occasional Splatoon 2 avatar, Sadie. Initially, she was just my attempt to create an Octoling version of Samus Aran (complete with a beauty mark next to her lip) but she kinda grew on me and I started to brainstorm some ideas of this character.

Before she moved to Inkopolis, she was an Octarian Heavy Splattling Gunner, equipped with Null Armor Gear (or something as similar) and always offering defenses for her comrades in battles. When she's not in her heavy armor gear, she acts as a reconnaissance agent/saboteur going into enemy territory to make their lives more difficult. She used those skills for regular Turf War and Ranked Battles after she defected from the Octarians upon hearing Calamari Inkantation. Despite having a serious demeanor on her face, she's quite shy and adorkable once you get to know her. Recently, she's been using charger weapons to improve her aiming skills.

When drawing a full-bodied Octoling, I didn't have any models to go off by except a few glances at body proportions of Inklings and Octolings. So initially, the pose was a bit awkward and not interesting on first impression. After feedback from my friend, I decided to give her a suitcase (specifically the one that carries extra armor in Hero Mode). Now she looks like she's on a secret mission, no weapons required. Speaking of requirement, I initially intended to have her wear the Null Armor Helmet, but I found the glass visor to be too difficult to do (plus, it doesn't allow good views on Sadie's face) so it was abandoned early.The art style is based on the official artworks of Splatoon and Splatoon 2. I really wanted to capture the tone and style of the original artworks. And I think this is my best attempt yet. At the very least, it looks more visually appealing than the cartoonish thick ink lines that I would use in the past.

9. Do you have a faceclaim / voiceclaim for your OC?

Not at all (beyond me creating them in a time I was voice acting for IAMP and I vowed I could not be the one to voice them because I was already using up all my voices for other characters lmao)

and no calvin doesn’t have the Rural AB High School Boy voice EVEN THOUGH he was inspired by rural ab high school boys i knew. maybe mac does

and i don’t have face claims but sometimes I randomly encounter people that look like my ocs like that time it was a hot summer day and I was walking home from the grocery store unintentionally following this guy like ‘is that ed’ (AND SOMETIMES they interact with me and I die like that time i accidentally met IRL calvin on a plane)

15. If your OC could have any pet, what would they choose? Why?

Edward has been a dog person since birth. Aside from the passage in Cecil E. Denny’s memoir that I based this comic off, I was recently reading a passage from Alexander Ross’ accounts that was basically like “the wife doesn’t need her blanket but GOD FORBID the husband doesn’t have his dogs and the dogs don’t have their ribbons and bells” and thats ed lmao. However, he doesn’t have dogs at the moment because he no longer has the excuse that dog sledding is a Necessary and Important activity, so in his quest for Necessary and Important tasks he’s currently looking into urban chicken keeping (which is a legal loophole he has been flouting since the 1920s that livestock aren’t supposed to ‘run amok in the streets of edmonton’... which they won’t do if they’re in his backyard...

Calvin has owned animals of many kinds since he was a sprout as well and while he loves them all and has said goodbye to many, his current lifestyle of penthouse living and travelling often isn’t super conducive to having a pet (his ideal would obviously be sugarfoot from heartland lmao). However, he does have at least one horse, possibly dogs and a barn cat here or there (which Caroline keeps track of) and though cattle aren’t pets Calvin will still act like his are (which Bert takes care of) 

17. How do they make a living? What kind of job do they want / not want? What is their dream job? What do they think of their current job?

This is a good question because there’s not really any hard and fast rule about how an avatar Has to make a living. Edward currently is working in some capacity for the City (as mentioned in chapter 1) because for him it’s a form of self care (even though it also stresses him out). It’s something he had been avoiding for a long time because he doesn’t perceive himself as a “responsible” person. I like to think that he’s an anonymous person on the 311 line every so often, but he might be doing other stuff like the odd temp work or bus driving. Ed also sells produce at local markets (but he usually gets his sister to do that for him... or she takes the initiative without telling him maybe). 

Of course, both of them have had jobs in O&G (usually Ed being the O and Cal being the G, one blue collar and one white). Ed was on the rigs for a couple seasons during a recent economic boom slash depressive episode and has been many times before - while he won’t disparage the work or the pay he certainly doesn’t enjoy it. Calvin has always been more in the business of speculation and administration and it’s assumed that he gets the vast majority of his income through this and related sources, he also loves to talk and present and to build relationships with people so he really likes his cushy office job. Somewhat ironically he doesn’t always bring that aspect into his municipal/government work because he’s too busy with his “real job”, and when his “real job” falls through in a recession he can either be everyone’s worst nightmare or he can finally redirect all his positive energy towards them (sometimes those overlap) (it depends on the weather).   

26. Who is the most important person in their life? Why? Who is the least important to them (that still has an impact and why?

For Ed and Cal the most important people are always each other. I tend to find it weird when they’re not portrayed/perceived as interdependent to the point of being inextricable from each other’s identities. Sure they ignore each other a lot and step over or on each other depending on the situation, but if one ceased to exist the other would probably be thrown into an absolute identity crisis. 

Least important is harder, not sure if it’s intended in more of a “couldn’t care less maybe” or “hate this person so much i wish they’d get out of my way”. I’d have to think about that a lot more before I could come up with a good answer, because even people they rarely see they might still care about in one way or another. 

34. What social groups and activities does your character attend? What role do they like to play? What role do they actually play, usually?

Just from skimming Calgary histories, marching bands come up a lot so I always laugh at the idea of him in one of those (I always think of that time that Nenshi literally called in the Stampede marching band in to help him sing Let it Go when he lost a hockey bet with the mayor of Anaheim). Calvin would have played every possible role at one point or another in that so I’m not sure what his usual would be. But he likes pomp, circumstance, instruments, uniforms, marching, all that stuff. And then there’s rodeo on top of that too which is a whole other can of worms. 

Ed tends to be more anti-social than Calvin and has tried to avoid a lot of things, but he still has his own interests and groups I’m sure. The ski club for instance has been a big deal and I think he’s definitely the sort of person who does guided walks in the river valley or trips out to Elk Island etc. He also gets roped into Fringe and other arts events on occasion by his sister, or he’ll do some volunteering at festivals such as Heritage Days (and performing at them if you’re very very lucky).

this blog was mainly created because Tumblr kept cockblocking me with the unremovable signup pop up whenever i browse thru search without an account. so here we are. i originally intended to use this blog to follow other blogs i've bookmarked, but i am slowly warming up to the concept of sharing my art here...

i mainly draw and talk about OCs and OCs/Canon stuffs. all of my OCs are self-inserts and purely for my self-indulgence, so if this is not your cup of tea, it's fine not to stick around here.

Oh gosh, it’s been a bit since I did a rundown of them… (I need to update my project lists tbh… ugh..) I’ve been working really hard on consolidating my characters and stories these last few years so I’m rightfully proud of my progress.. Even if no one can tell yet but me!! >8//); 

Despite how many we have, only a few of them I seriously want to bring to completion and/or publish first and foremost. The rest are really just for fun until I/we feel like they could become something bigger. Also, Dye has involvement in most of my stories whether it be a full collab or just helping!

Collaborations

Ocean of Cycles: Our 4th Collab- Dye’s world-building project that I have the honor of helping flesh out. While we have our OCs and want to make it RPG ready for others to play in for fun, and we think making a book of the completed world-building someday would be fukken awesome, it’s largely a stress relief and creative outlet for Dye and I, so we’re not in a rush nor can Dye’s schedule allow for full-time work on it. Like Dye, I would like to do mini-comics about their adventures myself as well!!

Picture This Imagine That: (sorry this art is 4yrs old… T//w//T) Our third collaboration; Started small but became our means of reconciling our identities and coming out. After we came out some years ago, we put this one down to handle real life stuff and grow up a bit- but we do still fully intend to draw and publish their stories, we just took it offline and pulled back to a much more relaxed pace until it’s actually ready.

Solaris: Our second collaboration. Originally an Avatar: The Last Airbender fanstory, transplanted into an original universe. I’d really love to bring this one to life as a comic, but the plot hasn’t been finished yet! We love this one  to bits though and I’d consider it a likely choice down the road sometime.

White|Outlines: Technically our first collaboration, a soft slice of life about troubled supernatural teenagers. My branch in the same universe/highschool as Dye’s SalaDays story (No, the SD cast doesn’t really interact with mine)  I made this because Dye used to have the world open for RP, but we’ve long since closed it off. (That’s more geared toward OoC now) I don’t really have plans for pursuing this one outside of for fun!

Unlucky: A fun slice-of-life meets shounen kind of story set in a tightly knit chinatown. Dye helped create the bulk of this verse for a lot of homeless/floating OCS, like Quinn and Airi from my old beckoning cat magical girls team, Jake and Evelyn from anirangers, Tyberius and Farah from wwp’s “D’Amatos” godfather-parody show… stuff like that. It’s a bit more on the world-building side right now but I hope to draw things for it soon.

I also play around in or help with some of Dye’s more solo works like Kingdoms or Romaine Hearts, as well as a few offline projects that aren’t super involved/developed yet.

Magical Girls:

Forecasters:  My lovebaby of a story, featuring weather magical girls. My only active personal project that I want to make into a full blown webcomic right now. It’s 99.7% offline atm, I started this in 2013 after we put down PT. There’s still a lot to do, but I’m really excited about this one. It’s like my self-imposed college final project and/or legitimate story pitch I guess? I wanna post promo art for it so bad but I want at least the first two chapters drawn before that so bear with me…

Starless: Alien powered magical girls. Created from old (2008) tokyo mew mew OCs! The story’s been a bit ambiguous lately but I am very fond of this one and would consider it one I’d like to complete/draw for someday if the plot lets me WRITE IT lmao. Dye is helping me by adopting some of the characters!

Minor  MG Stories: (click the link in the last bullet to see pics of these)

“Book Keepers”: Literature theme college magical girls, collabed with Dye. Currently just a loose idea with really fun fleshed out OCs, but not a super high priority.

“Candyland”: NEW! Candy themed magical girls. A tentative title for a bunch of OCs I’ll be posting soon enough so I guess I’ll add them now. Some of them are old af, some are super new. They’re just an early concept and a bit of a style-experiment.

Cheers!: Drink-themed magical girls. A very old team I don’t really plan on doing anything with right now, just currently trying to redesign them to my liking.. -stares holes into them- LET ME LOVE YOU

Cosmic Club! another design prompt with no story.. YET…. I love them and they seem v popular so it’s possible! We’ll see how it goes.

Even more magical girls over here in this list but are all in a similar ‘concepts only at this time’ status (Lucky is on this list but is no longer a magical girl series)

My Projects:

Shards of Moon: A fateful fantasy epic about birds and songs. Formerly Anathema, the first fully fleshed out “serious” story I wrote… It was terrible! It was merged with another story that had no characters, so all my oldest OCs live here now. I’m very very fond of this one but I’m letting it percolate very slowly. It’s a far off goal for now, but it is shaping up to be a story I’d like to tell.

Sleep Tight: About a little girl and her boogeyman and conquering fear. The second story I wrote in high school. This one needs… a lot of rework and a bit of gutting- I haven’t decided the direction I wanna take it yet, but I don’t mind waiting. (I mean, look at what happened to Shards of Moon- I was so sure I’d trash that whole story and its characters.)

Superglue: I have like NO new art for this one yet lmao.. Young superheroes dealing with past actions they ran away from. A third high-school story that has changed so dramatically it’s not even remotely similar to its first version. It’s basically a baby story with old re-homed OCs in it because I felt sorry for them. ;w;;; I don’t know how far this one will take off yet but yeah

Others:

I’m gonna get ta’ play in @caiterprince​’s universes with Dye too, including the WIP Magical Girl Academy as a means to flesh out more magical girl designs (Eden is the most familiar, but I’ll have more soon), and a few cameos in Plainer in Hindsight and Weaver’s Debt eventually

Fancharacters like my SU gemsonas, my ponies, and my Tokyo Mew Mew OCs are purely for fun. If I want to write an original story about the characters (which has happened, see Solaris and Starless) I’d transplant them first.

I have a few other concepts laying around- placeholders like “fairyverse” or “spacewitchverse” where I throw similar-theme homeless OCs but don’t have a single story idea for, it’s just.. there. for now. So I won’t bother going over those. 

AUs (like elf gfs Band AU) don’t really count as separate unless they become canon. (i.e. what happened with Solaris)

If anyone’s really curious on the development of my worlds and ocs, I honestly highly taking a peek through my sketchdump folder on my DA. (start at the bottom, its infinite scroll) You can find pretty much everything I’ve ever conceptualized in these. I started to sort dumps by story- there’s actually quite a bit of storytelling / oc growth nestled in there if you’re into that sorta info-binging. I-I think it’s kinda fun tbh…. I do apologize in advance for any slurs or problematic wording you may find in the oldest dumps, I’ve been cleaning it over the years but might’ve missed something.
