Festivia’s wine recipes were so strong that you would instantly pass out after just four sips. She was the only one who could drink normally due to her super high tolerance

She also had a Greek accent

Rhina was actually Dirhhennia and Chad’s daughter, who Crescenta tried to pass off as her own

There was a brief period where Celena would publish her poems and short stories under an alias due to her shyness. People quickly recognized her writing though and her author career shortly ended

During her awful marriage with Roachley, Rhina threw herself deeper into riddles and puzzles as an escape

Rhina and Celena would bond over sharing riddles and poems for hours, trying to decipher their meanings and sharing ideas

As a child, Eclipsa was very close with her mom. But as she grew older and began sympathizing more with the monsters and her mom leaving for battle more often, they began drifting apart. The last time they ever saw each other before Solaria’s assassination, they had an explosive argument

Later when she had Meteora, she aimed to be a more supportive and involved mother to her own child (before they were separated by the MHC)

People easily believed Festivia as being Eclipsa’s daughter due to her resemblance to Jushtin. There were even rumors of her secretly being his granddaughter instead of Eclipsa’s child. The irony………..

Celena’s crippling shyness stems from her being half-demon, since Mewmens are super prejudiced. She would hide behind her wand and cloak to cover her sharp teeth and pointy ears

Estrella has an entire art gallery room deep in the castle. Growing up, she enjoyed sketching out her mom’s stories

The grandma room is so long that people would easily get lost in there and is rumored to be haunted by the queens’ ghosts

There is also a grandpa room dedicated to every queen’s husband

Soupina, one of the queens before Skywynne, was seen as useless due to her obsessing over soup more than being a ruler. That was until a famine hit and Soupina created a magic soup recipe that would leave you feeling full for weeks, saving Mewnie

The reason why none of the ghosts of Mewnie’s past queens before Skywynne showed up was cuz their tapestries were destroyed in the castle fire during her coronation. The tapestries act as a bridge between the afterlife and living world

Meteora wasn’t the first/only Mewmen monster hybrid, as there were many others but were outcasted by both sides. There are a few remote villages of hybrids whose existence is kept a secret

I'm Retiring.

Yeah, no. No funny openings, no witty banter, not even an easy way to explain the title other than: Yea. I'm retiring... kind of. More below.

As you guys know I've been writing for the Callyieverse and Tales of Mewni for quite some time. It's almost been 7 years. Seven. Years. As Callyie once put it, I'm literally one of the founders of the Callyieverse. I ain't the creator herself but I respect to her for inspirin' me all those years back to get back into writing fanfiction and all that. Having said that:

I'm no longer going to be writing anything Callyieverse or Tales of Mewni related. I'm just burnt out of it, truth be told, this has been one of my biggest hyperfixations for a long time and even though I never finished quite a few storylines, I just can't really bring myself to continue writing for it. Burn out's real and, honey, call me Icarus bc I've been flying by the sun these last few years.

What does this mean moving forward?

Well, simply put, the following:

All my current, on-going projects are cancelled.

Most likely any commissions, art or fic, will be all you see of my characters unless someone else writes them.

This blog'll remain active since it's my main but just be aware that any fanfics ya see will be other fandom related

I won't be taking commissions any longer.

I'd also like to share with everyone how the following storylines would've gone.

Protecting the Peace

First off, holy hell there would have been so much new lore pushed into Mewni. With the Southern Vale being a completely closed off area there was going to be a lot more "return to formula" type creatures and more of the original show's feel.

Also, it would've revealed that the Goliaths weren't actually nearly as extinct as I've said they were these last few years. An enclave of Goliaths, taking one of the old cities and rebranding it "New Janek City," would have been one of the final obstacles in Visas' journey.

How would it have ended? Well...

Visas, everyone that came down to help her (Petal, Nia, Sunshine, Luci, Higgs, Pearl, Sarasim, and Hava (whose disappearance would've also been explained), and Elza would've discovered that (a) Visas and Elza were actually sisters after Haku and Eboshi had a fling together a few years before Haku met Higgs; (b) Visas was becoming more Precursor than Mewman bc of Precursor genetics and that change was being accelerated by Precursor magic; and (c) there were Gods watching over Mewni this whole time. Yeah. There would've been an explanation that they were amongst the first gods in creation but they didn't vibe with the feel of many dimensions until they reached Mewni, in its infancy, wherein they staked their claim and ruled over this new land. However, by the time Mewmans started taking over everything they'd long been forgotten to the point of being myths of myths, but the ancient Precursors kept the belief in them alive in the Vale when they established the first Magic Empire. Despite their disconnect from Mewni and Mewmanity, the Gods would not have been happy with the fact Astro was king. Not because he's a Titan (they scoffed at the idea of Gods despising Titans, seeing themselves as "above petty ideologies") but literally because Mewni was established as a Matriarchy and they imply they had a hand in tipping the scales in the Mewmans' favor (via the MHC) in exchange for Mewmans modelling themselves after the Gods.

Visas and co. return back to the Sanctuary wherein Visas declares that, by divine right, she's the Empress of the Vale and the first thing she's doing is going home, taking her sister with her, and beginning to live her life for herself for once.

Tony and Stacie Q

Now I know this'll come as a shock, but... T and Q would've ended up with a happily ever after. The next big fic I was working on was a dinner date where Tony was going to meet her parents, but, like I said, burn out's a bitch and I just never got around to finishing it.

Ashur, Nenet, the Hydra

Ash trying to overcome his greatest inner turmoil would've been... a long thing coming. He'd have a lot of insecurities to work through and even having slip ups like him getting into a fight with Lars over Nenet. Eventually, his Hydra side and him would've realized that neither could exist without the other and Ash would've fully embraced that side of him, effectively getting rid of it and finally living his life the way he wants to.

Tales of Mewni: Ragnarok

Loki and Cordelia would've ended up together... kind of? And the story would've ended with the fabled battle between the Aesir and Jotnar with Loki finding out his dead wife's soul was being made to fight for Odin. That would not have ended well for anyone involved. Loki also would demonstrate his immense magic power, to stop the fighting, by holding the weather still across all Nine Realms and even Avalon itself. All to remind everyone who exactly he is, why he's declaring the battle over, and sending the Jotnar back to their respective realms.

And... that's all.

I wanna thank quite a few people in no particular order, but first I'd like to thank @princesscallyie for taking a chance at reading The New Kids when I first brought it to her attention back in January of 2018 and for creating this next gen verse as a whole. I'd also like to thank @kururu418 for being there along my side helping me figure out ways to make things work for the Tales of Mewni side of things. @laylaylamode, I love the Stacies and the way you encouraged me even in my lowest moments with writing for the verse. @onelastfic, thank you for being such an amazing friend and confidant, as well as someone who I could always share and work on ideas with.

Raza is easily considered the most durable of the King’s Crew, and he takes pride in how strong his defense is. One of his many nicknames is the ‘King’s Shield’, and is the first one to step up to shield the other from harm. While he is naturally tough, he also trains during his free time in order to strengthen his body even further. He’s also been training in some of the wrestling techniques of the Air Nymph tribe, courtesy of Cirrus, and now even the likes of Astro must put effort into toppling him.

A Day At The Park-My Callyieverse Valentine's Day Gift Exchange!

Scenario: After a long day of playing at the park, Astro, Amber, & Isaac decided to rest on a nearby bench under the sunset.

So, I FINALLY managed to get my Valentine's Day Gift Exchange out there!.......ten days after it was supposed to be posted. :sweatdrop:Yeah. Sorry about that.

I got @kururu418 for the Callyieverse gift exchange.

There was a story/fic that was supposed to with this picture. But I was already late enough as it is. And just didn't have it in me to write a whole story before the end of February. So I had to scrap it.

I did managed to finish the full synopsis for it though. So for those of ya'll curious, here's the link if you want to check it out.

Suddenly I burst in with a redrawing of the old video already from 2022. I was once a very fan of this animated series and I like to review it from time to time. And when this trend appeared, I released the first video with my OC (the first video), after which they wrote about Star in the comments and I lit up with the idea of creating this video!!!

Now 2 out of 3 videos occupy the first and eighth place in the selection under the music and it's funny, because I didn't count on anything. The videos scored from 450 thousand to 1.6 million views and heated debates on the subject of the family and it was so cool to plunge back into the days when we were building theories and scanning absolutely every detail.

I'm only 18 and I recently broke up with my girlfriend, but I grew up on this animated series, and on Gravity Falls, Monster High, Winx, and it's so nice to feel myself from time to time...as a child.

SVTFOE Headcanons Part 2 🦋🪄👑

While Celena was known for her shyness, her husband was way more outspoken and bold (think Rengoku from Demon Slayer). He was always protective of his wife and would passionately defend her from rumors or harsh comments about her demon heritage. He was the only person Celena would let down her cloak around, other than her mother. They were the textbook “opposites attract” couple

I like how Eclipsa resembles her grandma Skywynne. The shortness genes just skipped past Solaria lol

Eclipsa’s sun hat was passed down to her from her uncle Jushtin as a gift. The two were really close as she saw him as her cool silly uncle while he would ruffle her hair and tease her

I think if Eclipsa got to meet and know Festivia, she might have accepted her as an adopted daughter the same way she took to Star. But the fact that she was meant to be Meteora’s replacement might taint that a bit (plus Festi was still racist towards monsters)

Festivia was secretly insecure about her weaker magic compared to her predecessors. Her specialty leaned more towards entertainment magic than for attacking. Despite this, she used her magic to the best of her abilities to help her citizens by keeping them happy and distracted. She knew she wasn’t as wise as Skywynne, strong as Solaria, nor powerful as Eclipsa. But she knew a lot about lifting people’s spirits!

When her ghost discovered the truth of her identity and origin, she was SHATTERED. The other queens gathered around to comfort her as she wept. Despite her lack of royal blood, they still accepted her as one of them

The ghosts hate the MHC for all their lies and manipulations. They hope that as each new queen comes and goes, one would be able to break the cycle (insert heart-shaped cheek marks)

Star actually met Mina as a toddler when she saw her training outside the castle and wandered all the way down to see the “cool fighting lady”. Mina admired her interest in combat and would boast about her feats and history to the giggling 3 year old who had no clue what she was talking about. Neither of them remember this since Star was too young and Mina being crazy

Sadly it was common for many queens to have their lives cut short by numerous reasons due to their status (magic misshapes, monster attacks, stress of being queen, rival kingdoms, etc.)

When Estrella heard about her daughter’s assassination, she was so devastated that she couldn’t paint or draw anything for a very long time. She stayed by Moon’s side for a while to take care of her as they both grieved

The racial population and history of Mewnie is very diverse since many groups of humans from all over the world would accidentally end up in the Mewnie dimension. This led to Mewnie’s culture being influenced by all kinds of different earth cultures (at least whatever the humans retained post-memory wiped). The kingdom is mostly European influenced since Moe, the first queen, was from England

Racism doesn’t really exist between Mewmens due to their history of racial mixing and already hating monsters. To them, it seems silly to be fearful/hateful of your fellow kind when the monsters are the obvious threat

Umbriel's Proposal (Titanomachy Arc)

Basteta leaned against the stone railing, exhaling a thick plume of smoke from her joint, the ember glowing as she tried to get some relief. Umbriel stood beside her, wine glass in hand, his expression unreadable as he swirled the liquid idly.

“So, Asterossa’s child sired a hybrid with a goddess?” Umbriel scoffed, swirling the wine in his goblet like he was personally offended by the concept. “And it is that strong? Honestly, it is utterly absurd. If any hybrid should be born, it should belong to the most noble and prestigious family of Avalon. Moreso, if a hybrid child with Avalon blood was born, no other child, hybrid or otherwise, could compare.”

Basteta let out a short, sharp laugh, taking another long drag before tapping the ash over the railing. “What ya gonna do? Have a hybrid kid of ya own? Good luck with that. Ya would somehow need to find a Titaness with an ancient enough monster bloodline close enough to contend with Typhon while also having a strong enough body to withstand that ultra-divine Avalon mojo enough to carry a child to term. Even with that, there’s the piss-poor statistical chance the kid would even be a hybrid.”

Umbriel hummed, tilting his head as he studied her. “Hmmm, interesting. And what if this hypothetical Titan female had sired other Titans before?”

Basteta exhaled another thick cloud of smoke, shrugging. “I mean, if it’s in the genes, then maybe. It ain’t exactly scientific, but it is thought that Titan females have a higher chance of siring more Titans. Has something to do with a baby growing in the Titaness’s womb or whatever.” She took another drag before lazily side-eyeing him. "But where the hell are ya gonna find a female Titan that fits that criteria?"

She paused, noticing the way Umbriel was staring at her with a knowing smirk.

"I am not having a baby with you so ya can one-up Astro."

“And why not?” He asked, stepping closer, voice smooth as silk. “If I recall, you still owe me a firstborn.”

Basteta scoffed, shaking her head. “One, I’m married and have plenty of hybrid mouths to feed. Two, one-upping someone, even if that someone is that fucking snot haired asshole, is not a good reason to have a baby. Three, this womb is closed after dealing with three pregnancies that didn’t have epidural. And fucking four, that deal is null and void and you know it.”

Umbriel leaned in, fingers grazing her hip, voice dripping with amusement. “Shame. I imagine our child would be unparalleled. A Titan born of Avalon royalty? They would rule above all others.”

“Yeah, and they’d likely also be a smug little shit just like you. Hard pass. Extremely hard pass.” She said, flicking his hand away without so much as a glance.

“Oh, but Basteta, you never know. If anyone could tempt you to reconsider, it would be me.” Umbriel smirked, reaching out and toying with the end of her tail.

Basteta flicked her tail out of his grasp, giving him a deadpan look. “The only thing you’re tempting is my patience.”

Umbriel chuckled. "And here I thought you’d jump at the chance to carry the greatest hybrid to ever exist."

"No fucking way. If ya want a kid, go breed Asterope or one of the other goddess floozies that throw themselves at ya, then." Basteta said, turning her back to leave.

"I’d rather breed you." He purred.

"Too bad. I don’t do charity work, Umbriel."

Sisters Of Olympus

“The Greek Pantheon will be led into a new era by a goddess, but it most certainly will not be Hera. No, only I am fit to take the helm. I along with my sisters of course…”  Asterope looks down on nearly everyone in or outside her own pantheon, but there are a select few she’s found worthy of her leadership and loyalty. The Sisters of Olympus are the only figures she Asterope deems as true allies, and having seen the potential in them most others in their pantheon had not, she considers them more siblings than her own blood relatives by Zeus. The group is fiercely loyal to one another and tight knit, and tend to give Hera quite a bit of trouble since they’re a rather rebellious bunch. She keeps a close eye on them, knowing if anyone would usurp her title, it’d likely be them. 

Asterope (Daughter of Zeus): The leader and youngest child of Zeus. Her power speaks for itself, and more than a few people assume she will manage to usurp Hera at some point. Though they worry her rule will be just as ironclad and ruthless as her father’s. She trust her sisters above all else, and takes any move against them as a personal slight.  

Pandae (Daughter Of Heracles): A child fathered by Heracles during his time in India. Even as young as she is her strength is quickly catching up to her father’s. She’s an energetic young lass who Asertope quickly found both potential and amusement in. She brought her into the group and plans to nurture her strength. Pandae is the most rambunctious of the group, eager to prove herself and serve who she believes will one day rule their pantheons.    

Makaria (Daughter of Hades): A young goddess of death, and the youngest of the group. Due to her father and status most tend to avoid her, but Asterope fears no one and nothing, and seeing how powerful she could grow to be offered her company. Makaria is simply glad someone outside of the Underworld is willing to stand her company. 

Syssa (Daughter of Ares): The muscle of the group. Her amulet usually keeps her calm and mellow, but she becomes a powerful and near unstoppable force when it’s removed. People tended to steer clear of her due to her unpredictable nature, but Asterope proved she could more than handle her strength, and far from fear it, respected and sought to put it to use.  

Benthesikyme (Daughter of Poseidon): One of Poseidon’s overlooked children. Bitter about the lack of attention from her father, she was more than surprised when Asterope approached her and acknowledged her strength. Eager to align with someone who recognized her worth, she pledged her might to Asterope, vowing to help her become the new supreme goddess, and to cement her own status at the next ruler of the seas when her father’s time was done. Vain, condeeded, and obsessed with her own beauty, her only loyalties are to herself and her real sisters.  

Angelia (Daughter of Hermes): A lesser known daughter of Hermes. Despite being the swiftness and most powerful of his offspring, her siblings tend to get more of the attention from those outside of their family. After slaying an invading titan who’d bared it’s fangs at Asterope, she offered her a spot among her entourage and vowed to give her Hermes spot. An offer she quickly accepted. The personification of ‘the message’, she hears quite a bit through Olympus and beyond, and keep Asterope informed on whatever she can.

I got an ask a long time ago about monster versions of Dai Tai and Jia but I can't find it. Anyway here's a Waterfolk Dai Tai based loosely on a betta fish!

Monster AU: Coming from a poor family that includes her Waterfolk father and her harpy stepmother and half-sister, Dai Tai earns money by working as hired muscle or doing grunt work around the kingdom. But some nights she fights in the Trenches...a secret underground fighting ring where wealthy Waterfolk nobles bet money on the lower class to beat the hell out of each other. Dai Tai is one of the top fighters in the Trenches and works hard to keep it that way. Many wealthy nobles have offered to take her as a mistress, but she rejects any affiliation to the ruling class due to her hatred of them. They can pay her to fight and nothing more.
